Appearance

Hair Color: Black

Physical Appearance: Samson is a large, intimidating force. He's a very large, muscular, good looking. The kind of person you wouldn't want to mess with. People who encounter him immediately realize that he's quite the gruff person. Despite this, Samson emanates an aura of kindness, determination, that betrays this rough appearance. He seemingly appears like the leader of any group, who'd rush out and have an adventure. Samson obviously appears to be African-American, his skin is a very dark shade of brown, nearly black. Upon close examination, people may realize that his skin is coated in large, black freckles. He also has plenty of scars on his body, obviously implying that he's been in several brutal battles in the past, and implies that he has injuries that he shouldn't have been able to survive. He has a massive slashing scar at his gut, that appears on his gut and his back. Like he was impaled, but survived, or did he? Other than that, Samson has a variety of knife scars on his arms, and chest. There's a conspicuous scar of a slash across Samson's throat that implies that his throat has been sliced before. Finally, there's a scar that encompasses Samson's foot, right above the ankle, implying that it's been cut off. That out of the way, he has an intricate pattern of tattoos. The first tattoo that he has is on his right cheek. It appears to be an eagle with it's wings spread, covered in flames that are angled downwards. Like the phoenix is taking flight. The other tattoo he has is on the left side of his chest. This tattoo is of the sun and is very tribal-like. The "flames" of the sun extends far enough to reach his shoulder, belly and the top of his neck. His arms are covered in a tribal-style wreath of flames, starting below his shoulder, going up to his hands.

Samson is quite the attractive fellow. His facial features are very strong, and bulky. Samson has a tear-drop shaped head, and square shaped face. His head seemingly gets smaller as someone would go down. His chin looks odd compared to the rest of his face. His chin seems to stick out from the bottom of his head. It's appears to be much larger than average and is a double chin. He has a very sharp and pronounced jawline. His cheeks are wide, in almost all other categories they are average. His nose is mostly medium/average sized, he has a very long nose bridge. His lips are thin and small, most people won't find his lips to be too noticeable. His eyes are small, colored brown and usually has a look of determination in them. Samson has long, straight hair that is a deep black color, and styled in the fashion of thick dreadlocks. These dreadlocks hang off the back of his head.

Attire: Samson has a lowly, out of the town style of clothing. He likes to wear jackets of any kind, and jean pants. Most of the time he does try his best to wear something different every day. There's several things consistent about him when he goes out is three things. Samson wears a tan straw-hat fedora with a string that hoists it to his head. He's absolutely never seen without this hat. This hat is either resting on the top of his head, or hanging off the back of his neck hoisted by that string. Samson's always wearing gold-tinted goggles over his eyes, it helps with his power a bit. Especially when he's flying around, he likes to keep bugs out of his eyes.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Naturally people see Samson as a good person, the kind of guy who always makes people seem at ease. He displays an impressive amount of leadership skills, and is charismatic enough to make allies very easily. He looks out for his friends, and will never leave a man behind. Samson is always a determined person, when ever he gets into something he'll always see it through. Even if it's stupid or won't end well for him. In his eyes everything will end well in one way or another. Apart of his upbringing also demands that he never (consciously) break a promise. Samson has a code of honor that he set up for himself. He'll always show honor to people and never will he disgrace or trick people - Even if they're his opponents. In truth he only has this honor system to make himself seem important and good compared to everyone else. Samson is a strong, hardened person, who has been strengthened by what he's been through in the past. He tries to never show weaknesses, and always appear at his prime, even if he's in the middle of some pretty damaging emotional and physical trauma. Thus, he's the kind of guy who never lets people into his "fortress", nor will he share his feelings, unless he really has faith and uppermost trust in someone.

He's very slow to anger, and tends to brush most insults off very easily, but once he gets really fired up, he tends to be quite hard to control, and may lose rational thought. He's a guy that's just a natural born warrior. He grew up fighting to defend himself, and hell, he really had experience to teach him. In fact, this goes far enough that the man grew up with a love for combat, and the rush he gets from it. Samson really believes that he's so powerful, that most basic opponents are just a breeze for him. He long for an opponent that could match him, a challenge that he needs to give his all to overcome. Which was apart of the reason that he joined SAM - He sees that opponent in the Skulls. When Samson fights, he fights with zero regards for himself and his personal safety, as he believes himself to be invincible. Anything hits him, he'll heal, and if he gets killed, he'll come back.

Skills/Talents: Samson has a few. Samson has earned his red-belt in Karate, and is a very good fist fighter, experience had taught him to be good. He practices often. His body is also seemingly at his prime from all the strength training he's done. Apart of his self-training, Samson has picked up a few medical skills, just in case, and knows how to use a first aid kit. He knows how to use a gun, and has acquired his gun license, not that he needs to use a gun. His aim is pretty b*tchin'.

Prized Possession: His straw-hat fedora.

History/Bio: Samson grew up in a less than ideal setting. His family was poor, and barely affording the house they got, obviously Samson grew up in the "ghetto" I may say. Gang violence was rampant, and it just wasn't the best environment to raise a child. That said, Samson was the first child that Elena and Samson Jeross Sr. had. His parents also weren't the best two people to be raising a child. Samson's father had absolutely zero parenting skills, and his mother was a heroine addict. A few years after he had been born, his younger brother, Hector, was born, but this was around the time his parents split up, and it wasn't a technical divorce. It was the usual "one parent takes one child" cliche, Samson's father took him, while his mother kept Hector. Samson was mostly left alone when he grew up, without the proper guiding hand of a parent. Naturally, Samson and his father barely interacted. Except in the Dojo. You see, Samson's father got by by running a karate Dojo, and dedicated his life to learning martial art. He forced Samson to learn Karate, lashing out against him every time he failed. Which made him develop a determined, "always see it through" mindset. But his father was never really there, so Samson had to look in other places. Where he didn't see a father in his own flesh and blood, he saw a father in a longtime friend Shayton Ezui. Shayton acted like Samson's mentor, and helped develop him into the man he is now. Hector on the other hand, had a parent and loving mother, but she wasn't a proper parent due to the addiction to heroine.

There isn't too much more to go over, since, they didn't have their powers yet. Several years later, when Samson was in his mid-teens his powers developed... rather explosively, we may say. He was in the middle of a heated arguement with his father at his Dojo, and at the peak of Samson's anger, he exploded in fire. Transforming into a beautiful fire bird. Absolutely incinerating the Dojo, and scared the piss out of him. The police arrived on the scene and immediately opened fire on Samson. The polices didn't damage him, but he knew that he should get out of there, he didn't have a good enough grasp on his power, but he knew that birds fly. Unfortunately, his power inconvenienced him greatly, mid-flight, he transformed back into his human form, and fell several stories onto the ground, and unfortunately, to his death. Exploding into a cloud of flames and ash.

This wasn't the end of Samson's story, oh no. Weeks later, the ash gathered, and he was reborn from the flames and ashes. He was completely fine, but, predictably, he was pretty traumatized by this turn of events. He was screaming like a maniac while realizing he came back from the flames. Immediately, he limped back to his home, stark naked, and surprised his father who had believed he had ran away. He explained everything that happened to his father, who was just in shock learning that his son was dead. That's when they both decided on two things; they were to keep this turn of events strictly a secret, and Samson would learn to control his power. That's when he decided to train, and learn how to use this ability. The first thing he did was get such a grasp over his ability, that he didn't have anymore accidental activations. Over the years, he managed to get such a degree of skill over with his ability, and mixed his karate teaching with his power. Samson managed to explore his ability to such an extent, that he was a force to be reckoned with. A powerhouse.

Things changed after Samson had learned that his little brother, Hector, had developed his power, among a hoist of other incidents. Hector had been sexually abused for years by one of his mothers boyfriends, who was paying his mother to keep a blind eye to this, in order to stay afloat. Another interesting thing Samson learned about his younger brother was that he was acting as a vigilante as a form of escapism. This escapism quickly turned grim as his power was outed to the public after several people died during one of his stunts. The exact incident was that Hector raided a crackhouse to bring several drugdealers to justice, and as it was expected, everyone with a gun just turned it on Hector. A massive battle ensued, which destroyed the building, killing everyone in it. Samson managed to catch word of where Hector would strike next, and he just had to get Hector out alive. Unfortunately, he came upon the situation at the worse moment, but managed to save Hector by turning into a phoenix and flying away before the cops arrived. While Hector came out alive, he came out traumatized and guilt-ridden, on top of the trauma of the sexual abuse. To the point where he was about to commit suicide where he stood. This massive loss of life caused a big scare in the city, and the police were dispatched to kill Hector on sight.

This was where Samson had no choice but to step in. The life Hector was living would only end with him dead. With the police gunning for him, there was only one organization that could help them: The Society for the Advancement of Mutants. He and his brother joined the organization to put their powers to good use, and to protect themselves from the growing prejudice. Since then, Samson and Hector have dedicated themselves to helping the cause of SAM. Fighting the skulls in increasingly brutal battles.


Abilities


Power: Phoenix. Putting it plain and simple, Samson is a fire-bird. Samson possess a wide array of fire-based abilities. First and foremost, the obvious fire-bending ability. Samson is a high-level pyromancer, capable of several techniques. He can create near infinite amounts of fire, move fire, control the heat and intensity of fire, solidify flames, cause explosions of fire, generate heat, etc. This might seem useless, but his flames can be any color that he wants it to be. One unique trait that Samson has is that his flames only burn what he wants it to burn, everything else will get a soothingly warm heat attached to it. Thus making friendly-fire (No pun intended) a nonissue. He is immune to the effects of heat, he can stand in a volcano like it's nothing. The second phoenix ability that Samson possess is regeneration. Samson's kept at his prime because of his constantly regenerating cells. His regeneration isn't on par with, say, wolverine. But wounds will heal amazingly fast. Any wound he gets will be wreathed in fire, until the wound is gone. Samson can heal small wounds instantly, moderate wounds in seconds, and major wounds in minutes. Samson's tears have a healing property, thus, if he cries on someone, their cells will be repaired and healed.

Finally, Samson is capable of transforming into the legendary fire-bird itself. The first trait of this ability is that this transformation is less like a transformation, and more like a mech-suit. It builds a creature made out of solid flames, while keeping Samson, the core, protected. Any damage that the phoenix body will receive will not transfer to him, but his phoenix body possess the same degree of regeneration that Samson does. His Phoenix-form has the exact appearance of a Bearded Vulture (Except made of fire!). Down to the wings, beaks, talons, and other features. His Phoenix form is large, standing at 14ft tall and having a wingspan of 24ft. His phoenix form is insanely hot and bright, casting a light in all directions. Obviously, the first thing Samson can do while in Phoenix mode is fly. While he's not that agile or swift, he can go quite fast (120 Mph). This Phoenix form gives Samson some large and powerful talons, allowing him to slash foes with superheated flames. This form also gives him a great degree of strength, capable of easily lifting cars and breaking holes in walls with little damage down to Samson. Being a phoenix also greatly enhances his pryomancery abilities. It increases the range to a macro-level, he can create more flames, and make them much hotter and more intense than before. Truly making him a threat. In Phoenix form, Samson can also control ash and soot, which is a fairly powerful element on it's own. Samson is capable of selectively transforming parts of his body into the phoenix form (Like his arms into wings) to gain some of it's power.

Finally, Samson possesses the famed power of the phoenix, self-resurrection. Once killed, Samson explodes into a cloud of fire, ash, and smoke, effectively leaving no body behind. Days later, all the ash will gather, and he'll be born anew, brought back to physical state where he died. With all of his memories and his body in perfect state. Thus, Samson is more or less immortal.


Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Samson's weakness is the cold, and water. Throwing water on his fire will extinguish it. Throwing water on Samson will greatly weaken all of his abilities, and cut him off from his phoenix form. Tossing him into a body of water can also be lethal, because being submerged in water will gradually drain his strength until he's power, oh, and he physically can't swim (Like in One Piece). Dying of drowning will kill Samson permanently. Other elements that extinguish flames are also effective against him. While Samson has regeneration and self-resurrection; he's not invincible. He can be killed the same ways anyone else can. You can also stop his resurrection by throwing his ashes into a body of water - Thus killing him for good. Introducing water in his ashes will also slow down his revival.

Physical Appearance: Valjean is built like a tank. He has the general appearance of someone who plays Football, basically. Valjean does have a generally athletic build with plenty of muscles under all that clothes. So, he has a brutish appearance when people look at him. His legs are very muscled, and he has sexy abs. He has wide, broad, shoulders. With this strength, Valjean is good-looking on top of that. He has a wide face/head. His head is oval shaped. Valjean has very big and round cheeks, that are easily the more pronounced part of his head. Valjean has average sized lips, that are pink, and poke out a little bit. His nose is very small, and triangle-shaped, the biggest part of his nose is the tip, which pokes forward a little bit. He has rounded ears are that very big, to the point where they could be made fun of. His eyes are small and blue colored, some could say that he has beautiful eyes. Valjean is predominately French/Canadian in regards to his descents. His skin, mostly his face, is plastered with light-brown freckles. His nose, and cheeks are littered with them. His skin is far from perfect. He has lots of scars from sports related injuries. They're all small though. None of them particularly stand out. Valjean does have a nasty stitching scar on the right-side of his midsection which is above his ribs. His hair is amber-brown, and straight. He keeps it well-groomed, and looks really good. Valjean keeps his hair very spiky, and wild.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: A guy you wouldn't want to get on the badside of. Valjean likes to portray himself as the tough guy that nobody messes with because of his immense size and stature. The guy that would tear someone in half at the slightest. You know, the generic tough-guy. Except he has skills and power to back that up easily. Though, this attitude has gotten him in more trouble than one man should get into. Valjean isn't the type who likes being at the bottom of the pecking order, and hates losing. He'll take every chance he gets presented with to ascend the ladder, or get petty revenge on whoever wronged him in the past. Getting past that Valjean is quite amiable to the people who are apart of his group. In conversation, he has a toothy grin, and is constantly cracking jokes - No matter what is currently going on. Someone could have just be turned into a stain on the wall, and he'd be acting like it's nothing. Basically he doesn't treat them like trash unless he believes that they're beneath him. He tends not to listen to people, as he expects people to listen to him, not the other way around. Valjean's sexuality can go either way. He's bisexual, and has sex with both boys and girls in the past, and it didn't bother him. Though, Valjean has crossed a few line before in the past...

Skills/Talents: Valjean has practiced and engaged himself in several sports in the past. Most notably, his father was a boxer, and has made Valjean familiarize himself with boxing. He's a brutal boxer, and punches hard as a brick. He also has done some karate, and has reached yellow-belt status. He mixes his karate with his boxing, though he leans more on boxing. Naturally, Valjean is a killer street fighter, and has experienced much fist-to-fist bloodshed. Valjean has also done plenty of football, soccer, and basketball, when he was younger, and nothing compared to the rush of basketball. Valjean also knows a few instruments, and isn't particularly talented at it, but can play the bass guitar, and flute. He's also a DJ.

Abilities


Power: Valjean isn't the Desert Scorpion for nothing!

Scorpion-Form. Valjean posses the power of the mighty scorpion. The desert variety of scorpion adapted for hard life in the desert. He's capable of taking the burning hot heat of the desert (Limited resistance to heat), go without water for days, and . The first and foremost use is that Valjean can transform into a giant scorpion, painlessly. Or as he prefers, he can transform into a hybrid of man and scorpion. Naturally, he gets rough, tan, exoskeleton, mandibles, pincers, a scorpion tail, extra limbs, etc. However, this is hypothetical, he has a high degree of control over his transformation, and control what features his body has. Thus, Valjean doesn't have one set form, except tons of variations, all depending on what he wants. Valjean could have extra exoskeleton armor, or he could have scorpion limbs on his back. I'll be going through everything of note. He can lift four times his weight, due to his strength, and strike with just as much force. Valjean's exoskeleton is very hard and rough, bringing his durability up enough that weak attacks (Such as punches or knives) will barely phase him. Though, he can take damage, and his exoskeleton has a way to deal with that. Naturally arthropods heal slower than humans, but, if Valjean sheds his exoskeleton, it'll be good as new. He has a poison at his stinger, but it's not very potent, all it'll cause is skin irritation and redness. Though, the stinger itself makes a very good blade to stab opponents with. Scorpion-form Valjean possesses a seismic-sense, enhanced endurance, the predator/animal instinct, and agility.

Desert Manipulation. Valjean is a master of the hottest, driest, areas on earth. He can blur the laws of physics and turn any area he desires into a burning hot desert. The temperature will skyrocket, water will evaporate and dry up, and control desert dwelling animals (Not very useful, but yeah). Most notably of all, sand will coat the area. Whether he's creating sand, or teleporting it into the area, is up for debate. A unique ability that Valjean has is that he can control all sand, as far as the eye can see. Thus he can do the usual sandbender techniques of creating blasts of sand, sandstorms, etc etc. Valjean can also control glass, throwing glass storms that'd shred unarmored opponents.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Valjean is the desert scorpion, not the woodlands scorpion, not the urban scorpion. Naturally, his body isn't adapted for life anywhere but the desert. Moist, wet areas make him weaker, and less effective, than say a burning hot room. In fact, the cold is his weakness, cold based attacks can cause some severe damage to him, and weaken him further. It takes time for Valjean to transform from man to scorpion, and the more drastic the transformation, the longer it'll take. Just for fairness. His exoskeleton is big, tough and heavy, thus, his natural speed is brought down the more features he adds onto his scorpion form. Valjean's desert manipulation only affects a small area, around twenty five meters. Once he leaves the area, the effect of the heat will 'follow' him, meaning that the environment will revert back to it's original state after he leaves it. The best way to avoid the effects of it is to not be anywhere near him, and hit him with long ranged attacks. Valjean cannot control any sand that is wet.

Appearance

Hair Color: Jet-black

Ethnicity: Korean

Physical Appearance: Nikki is a girl that doesn't appear like the average female. Whether it's her boyish facial features, or her lack of feminine features. It can be hard to tell that she's female sometimes. But an observant eye can definitely say that she's female. Nikki appears very tomboy-ish, to the point where she's near androgynous. Her facial features mostly appear to be male. She has a slim build, that's slightly muscular, but won't impress anybody. She lacks that desired female figure, instead it's a straight figure that lacks curves (Flat chest and butt), and is generally masculine. While she's short in terms of height, her arms and legs are notably long, and she has large, bony fingers. Nikki is an obviously Asian girl, of specifically Korean roots. Her skin is a light-yellow color, that's not exactly perfect. Her skin isn't perfectly clear, since she has plenty of scars on her body, and her knees are pretty scared from falling over as a kid. In terms of looks, Nikki can be called pretty, but she isn't winning any beauty pageants. She does look a bit boyish, but definitely female. Nikki's head is oval shaped and very rounded, her facial features are dull and rounded too. Nikki's cheeks are very notably large and round, but smooth, blending into her face well. They are often the first thing people notice about her. She has small lips, that aren't very girly or anything like that. Nikki has a medium sized nose, that's very pointed at the tips, and her nostrils are very small, and C-shaped. Her ears are medium sized, but notable round. Nikki's forehead is very big, and often the butt of jokes.
Because of her heritage Nikki's eyes are small, slanted, and a brown color. Nikki's hair is jet-black, and short. She keeps it in a high-profile style, and a bit of it brushed over the left side of her forehead.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Nikki is a rather noble and kind person. She lived her life as a loner, and it shows in how she behaves around people. She's shy, rarely speaks, and is quite hesitant, when around strangers. She keeps to herself most of the time, and tries to appear serious as possible. However, when around people; she's much warmer and much more receptive. She can be seen smiling and generally acting cheerful, and playing around like a girl her age shouldn't be. Nikki is nice and warm to just about everyone when they haven't done anything to provoke her. But despite this, she isn't far away from socially awkward, and really lacks confidence. Nikki is a very open minded isn't bothered by issues like homosexuality and transgender-ism. She doesn't judge people based off such things, and is willing to try things. When the time comes, she's much more serious, and is a very focused person. Thinking through decisions greatly. Her weakness comes when she doesn't have time to think, only time to act. Which can cause her to mess up things. When provoked, she can be quite aggressive and lash out at the aggressor. And she can get super pissed off. To the point where she throws out logic and says/does something she'd regret later. Merely because she's put up with things that caused her great stress and emotional harm, and she doesn't like anymore. Nikki also has a habit with holding grudges against people - Because once they've pissed her off, they'll have to try their damn near hardest to redeem themselves.

Nikki is a... bored girl. She was bored with her current life, and where she feared it was going. Which is why she's decided to take up the mantle of a vigilante. Not just for heroic reasons, she just wanted some excitement in her life. It's a rush to be out there fighting crime. Fighting demons and beating up criminals. Which satisfies her boredom with life, and she's making the place a better place. However, that boredom and displeasure has seeped into her work as a hero. Sometimes she feels like things aren't going to get better as hard as she tries, and she's only wasting her time. On top of that, she fears the excessive damage she does whenever she gets into a fight. In terms of D&D morality, Nikki can be classified as Chaotic or Neutral Good. On one hand, Nikki tries her best to appear as the ideal person that makes the best choices and saves everyone. On the other hand, she isn't the ideal hero. She is a Anti-hero in a way. She won't let rules get in her way, nor does she have many inhibitions preventing her from killing an especially dangerous man. But only when there seems to be no other choice, will she resort to these drastic means.

Skills/Talents: Nikki has a little bit of skills under her belt. For starters, she's very perspective, intelligent and logical, and putting those together means that she can figure things other. It also comes with an innate observantness that allows her to pick up details. On the more of a sporty side, Nikki has played Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer, and it has really improved her speed and footwork. She runs fast like an athlete would. Another part of her athletic skill is that she's a very good climber, though most of the things she had to climb were trees. Nikki is also a practitioner of Karate, and has reached Red-belt status. Though, she hasn't practiced in ages, she still remembers enough to get her through it. Under other noncombat skills, Nikki knows how to draw, knit clothing very well, can play the guitar and the flute, and gymnastics.

Macro-Arthropodkinesis. Nikki has the powerful ability to control Arthropods (Insects, Arachnids, etc) on a large scale. She can sense all arthropods on a large scale, tell what kind of insect they are, and at will control them to make them follow her every wish. This ability allows her to sense what they sense. This power is large scale, thus, she can control thousands of insects at a time and she can control insects from miles away from her. Nikki's degree of skill with this ability is so high that she can individually give commands to the insects.

Arthropod-Biology Manipulation. Nikki's secondary power is easily her most dangerous one. She can alter the biology of any insect within a ten foot radius. Allowing herself to completely redefine their biology to anything within reason. Make them larger, make them poisonous, etc. I am good with bugs, so I (think I) know what I'm doing. And just to clarify, she CAN'T do this a lot, so no armies of poisonous, two foot large, butterflies.

... Psst... Both of these abilities are somewhat connected to her emotions.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks:
- Fire is very effective against bugs
- It'll take time for Nikki to gather an effective swarm
- The more insects that Nikki control, the less fine control she has over them
- Killing a large amount of insects at once will cause Nikki a mental shock
- Changing an arthropods biology requires concentration, not completing the process will kill the arthropod.

Physical Appearance: Amanda is a young woman with a punk vibe when people first look at her. Height and weight wise, Amanda is fairly average, she's thin, she's averaged heighted. Nothing special about her. Though her legs are a bit bulkier likely because she's done plenty of running sports. In terms of race; Amanda is part British and part Korean, with her father supplying the British, and her mother giving her the Korean. She leans heavily on Asian in terms of appearance. With her skin being a light-yellow color, with a subtle white tint in her skin color. Amanda walks seductively, she intentionally makes her hips wiggle back and forth when she walks - Also empathizing her strength.

Amanda has plenty of scars, brushes and blemishes all over her face and body. It really takes away from her looks - In addition to giving people the idea that she's been in some shady things. On her face she has plenty of scars. Most are small and short. Like something small, with claws attacked her. She also has a burn scar on the side of her head, by her ears, it looks like something round and very hot hit her there. She has other scars on the rest of her body, they're just too plentiful to be described individually and are covered by her outfit. Amanda has several tattoos that she got very recently. One is on her right shoulder of a blood-colored angel, extending it's wings wide and appearing to ascend. Above this angel is several clouds and what appears to be a light shining through the clouds. On her left shoulder is a large tribal style tattoo of an eastern dragon with a massive tail and wings, extending all the way to her wrists. However, it is concealed by her outfit and the most people will see of it will be the tail/wings of the Dragon. On her back, near her shoulder, is a tattoo with GUILTY CONSCIENCE written. On her left cheek is a blue valentine heart, which would give her a cute vibe if it wasn't for the scars and bruises on her face. Her hair is jet-black, straight, and quite long. Amanda styles it as a long pony-tail, it is back-length. Amanda has some piercings, most are on her face. She has two large hoop ear-rings on her ears and has a ball tongue piercing. If she was to take off her shirt, you'd see that she has a belly button piercing. Amanda also has a lip piercing on the right side of her lower lip.

Amanda inherits all the good looks from her father's side of the family, she can be considered cute, if you can get past everything. Amanda's head is large, and rectangle-shaped. She has a slightly larger than average head, which is considered to be a source of ridicule for some people (Key word: Some). Her face is squared, and well-defined. Her cheekbone are round, and small. She has a squared (Double) chin as well, with a very strong, and sharp, jawline to match. Her chin sticks out forward a bit. She has a small nose, with a short bridge and nostrils that stick out a bit. Amanda's mouth is a little wide, and her lips are average in terms of thickness. Amanda has a somewhat big forehead, it's wide. There's a scar directly above her lips that connect to her left nostril. Amanda does look much like someone who's up to some shadier tasks. Amanda's eyes are medium-sized, and are slanted, much like others apart of her ethic background. Obviously showing off that she's Asian. Well, at least 50% Asian.

Attire: Amanda's outfit changes from day to day, like all of my characters. She'll wear just about anything and has no particular style. She'll wear hoodies, jeans, jackets, coats, etc. Amanda likes to wear her over-sized leather jacket from time to time, this is clearly made for men's but she likes to wear it. This jacket has a white-colored skull on the back, and it's her favorite jacket in the whole wide world. One thing that people certainly will notice about Amanda is that she wears lots of metal. She'll wear a large amount of rings, bracelets and other jewelry - Anything that chimes when she moves. Sometimes Amanda can be seen carrying, and playing, an acoustic bass guitar.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: A lot of words can be used to describe Amanda. Crazy, Risky, Good-intentioned, Stupid... Most of the time Amanda's actions can be hard to predict - Most of the time she does things for fun. For the hell of it. The only thing on her mind is having fun and getting into exciting situations. She's more than willing to break a few rules just to get off (Or do what she deems is right, and necessary). Amanda is the type of person who'd enjoy something out of the ordinary going on. Like a fight, or getting stalked by a serial killer, or a monster showing up. Normally, she's a very social girl, always looking to have a conversation with people. She's very nice to just about everyone that she meets - Unless they piss her off. Many could tell that she can be quite the awesome person when provoked. Amanda mostly tries to have conversation with people that interest her (Such have having something interesting about her appearance, or saying something interesting). Those who can't will probably get a very dull conversation - If any conversation at all. One thing people will notice is that Amanda is very flirty, she'll causally flirt with handsome guys that come her way. However, she rarely forms any deep relationships with boys, and just keeps it at teasing. In terms of morality, she can be considered "good." She'll fight the people she believes are bad and help those who she thinks needs it. However, she can have some sociopathic tendencies. Towards her enemies specifically. She will almost never show guilt, shame, remorse or anything like it, for her actions. Whether they're good or bad. Amanda will show an utter lack of disregard for human life, and not think anything else of it. Amanda is not above using her feminine charms to manipulate people (Mostly boys) to get ahead. In her eyes, this is all means to an end, and is necessary. Amanda also enjoys teasing/testing people - Mostly boys.

Amanda is a warrior at heart. She's more than willing to fight just about anyone if they cross her. She has an extreme amount of overconfidence and arrogance - And she relies on both of these to carry her through all fights and situations. It would appear that she's near-fearless - It's all because she's so egotisical, overconfident and arrogant. She will get her into trouble then get out of it. Amanda tends to show off and flaunt her skills whenever possible. Amanda doesn't tend to think some things through, however. Especially when fights or when people are in danger. She doesn't think, she acts. Rarely thinking of the consequences. This has landed her in some pretty hot water. Amanda can easily be regarded as immature, sometimes.

Amanda really really likes music. She mostly listens to Techno/Electronic music, and songs with no lyrics. Amanda also likes pretty much all forms of sports, and the people who play them, even more. She also likes to see people's behaviors, such as how they act when they're alone/around people. Amanda also likes Medieval art, gardening, toads, science fiction movies, and origami.

Skills/Talents: Amanda is a natural born athlete. She's been good at sports, and is quite the runner. The sport that she excels at is Soccer. She's also invested quite a bit into other sports like Basketball and Baseball - Just that she isn't as good at them as she is at Basketball. Naturally, Amanda is very quick on her feet and is coordinated as hell. Amanda has been in plenty of fist fights, and can win quite a few of them with her fists alone. She's really good at Roller-skating too, if that's. Amanda is also a very good dancer, since she has danced many times in parties and at raves. Amanda knows how to play the guitar too, hand her a guitar and she'll try her hardest. She's not exceptionally good at it, but this skill is worth noting.

Abilities


Power: Reactionary Power Replication. Amanda has the famed power replication of the Blackmore family. Her form is relatively simple, she copies the powers of whoever uses their power on her (Such as if a telekinetic pushes her, or if a healer does their thing, she'll get their powers). However, it's a bit more complicated than that. Whenever she copies a power, she sort of transforms into the power. Like certain parts of her body will change into the power, but not her whole body. Like a less extreme version of Drake's power. Her eyes, hair, hands, etc, will be transformed/wreathed with, the power of choice. Along with an immunity to the aforementioned power. Even if she doesn't transform, she is capable of using a "watered down" version of the power. Amanda can store up to three powers at once, in order to take on a new power, she must discard another one. Amanda will start off with two powers: Metal Manipulation, and Telekinesis.

Weaknesses: The two standard Blackmore weaknesses. Amanda doesn't know how to use a power right off the bat, and will have to practice a bit to get the hang of it. She will also lose any and all powers she has if she's badly beaten. The main problem with using this ability is that it can possibly kill her if she's not cautious. Amanda can still get injured from any attacks that are launched against her, before she copies a power. She also can't control which power she copies, which means if any power is used against her, she will immediately switch to that power (Even if she already has a power active). She also cannot control which powers get discarded when she's at capacity. Amanda can only use one power at a time.

Appearance

Hair Color: Dirty blonde.
Eye Color: Brown, albeit, her eyes are typically hidden, so this is a moot point.
Ethnicity: Eastern European.
Physical Appearance:

Miss Khan typically dresses to a Mad Maxxian level of formality. Her lower face is usually obscured by a breathing mask, although occasionally she opts for the full-face gas mask. Both appear to be of military-grade quality and fully functional, although what she needs them for is unknown. Miss Khan usually keeps her hair cut in a tight pixie cut-although "buzz cut" would be more fitting, and wears a trench coat. Interestingly, it would seem that with the gas mask, military-style haircut, and trench coat, Miss Khan is going for more of the trench coat's original use rather than its more recent trendiness, but that's always up for debate.

She dresses pragmatically. Feet are sheathed in tough combat boots. Beneath the trench coat, she'll normally wear a tank top or something that allows free movement if she needs to fight and remove the coat. Her belt is, somewhat garishly, fashioned with a Skull buckle (making her factional ties clear) and her gait is one of absolute confidence. Miss Khan, were you to remove the gas mask, has a Glasgow smile, albeit not a huge one. It merely cuts up a few inches on either side, although it is still noticeable. Were you to take off all of her clothing, and that would be rather depraved of you, you would find a litany of scars across her body. A few on the insides of her arms, some across her chest, and one down her back. Suffice to say she won't be wearing swimsuits anytime soon. She normally wears black jeans or something that wouldn't be out of place on a spec ops mission, favoring practicality over fashion. Similarly, she usually has several holdout weapons on her person, and some theorize there's even a razor blade tucked inside the filter of her gas mask (given that no one knows what she actually uses it for, anyways).

Miss Khan moves with...ferocity. As I said before, she walks with absolute confidence and it radiates through her every mannerism. She watches people unfazingly (and, if you've never tried this, it will usually make people break eye contact: prolonged eye contact is extremely uncomfortable) when speaking to them and the gas mask/breathing mask tends to prevent her expressions from being easily read: between her face being obscured and her voice being altered, it can be sometimes difficult to figure out the emotion behind what Miss Khan is saying. When she does speak, without the voice-shifter, her tone is surprisingly gentle. It does little to soften the brutality of the words coming out of her lips, but she speaks softly and seems to struggle to get above a whisper. She has a bright sparkle in her eyes, and when she speaks with people, it's evident she's really listening to them, not merely feigning interest. Outside of her public demeanor, Leila wears casual clothes, jeans and a long-sleeved jacket (she is a bit self-conscious of her scarring), not favoring much in the way of jewelry or anything too fancy. The clothes she wears are nice but modest, flattering to her well-toned body but nothing particularly fancy.


Personality

Outward & Innate Personality:
The Skulls are not exactly known for their feminist views, as evidenced by the frequent rapes that are condoned, if not encouraged, within the ranks: that Miss Khan has risen to the prominence that she has in the group is indicator enough of her personality. She is cordial but cold. Eloquent and yet ruthless. She has developed for herself more of a persona than an actual personality, and is regarded by allies and enemies alike with the same level of mistrust and unease. To some, she goes under the moniker "Miss Khan", to others, "Hannibal". Regardless, the graffiti of the girl in the gas mask is notably darker than the illustrations next to it. She is known for possessing the Skulls' capacity for violence and abject cruelty with Shaun's intellect. Those who have encountered her (seemingly everyone knows someone who has, just as everyone knows a guy who had a cousin...) have commented on her simultaneous chivalry and needless hostility. She guns down orphanages and nursing homes with a smile on her face. She burns down buildings after pulling the fire alarm. No one's entirely sure what she's after, but she's more than capable of holding her own and has caused a considerable amount of trouble for the SAMs (and the Skulls who have crossed her alike). Recently, Miss Khan has been making movements that might suggest her interest in ascending to the "Big Five" of the Skulls. Whether this means causing a power struggle or outright declaring her superiority, no one's entirely sure. The few things that the stories all agree upon are this: she's brilliant. Intelligent, well-spoken, and fighting with the sort of tactics that would make Rommel's head spin. Whenever she rounds up a horde of Skulls to carry out an act of (seemingly) senseless violence, it's done with professionalism and efficacy. She views the more mindless, knuckle-dragging members of the organization as nothing more than dead weight, only worth something in raw force. She's a different type of criminal, and one that's caused quite a bit of trouble for Aurum in recent years.

Disregarding her alter ego, however, Leila is certainly a polarizing person. Given her extreme intellect, she can occasionally come off as arrogant to others, but generally tries to rein herself in. She thoroughly enjoys a stimulating intellectual conversation, however, and even moreso enjoys the semantics and wordplay behind a conversation. She likes figuring out social situations, observing what topics make people uncomfortable and which topics excite them. She's occasionally over-confident, and fiercely protective of what is hers. Additionally, for all her tactical flexibility, Leila has total commitment to her role as Miss Khan. She is not one to question her values or morality, and trying to shake up her personal code of ethics would be exceedingly difficult.

Hobbies/Interests:

Miss Khan enjoys reading, playing Risk, and disappearing for long periods of time.

Skills/Talents:

Small units tactics and military strategy. Miss Khan is also well-versed in explosives, chemistry, and physics, possessing remarkable knowledge for someone as young as she is. She's also quite skilled in intimidation, interrogation, and if she is bad at something, she seems capable of adapting to get good at it-or finding someone who is. Miss Khan possesses a wide variety of survival and military knowledge and seems well-versed on protocols for elite forces.

Appearance



Hair Color: Kylie put a lot of work into her hair. I'll go into detail in the appearance but it is currently green, although it's been pretty much every color of the rainbow and is naturally brown.
Eye Color: Dark brown
Ethnicity: Kylie is some sort of mix of Native American and white.
Physical Appearance: Kylie looks pretty damn intimidating. Not only is she much taller then most girls of her age, she is also built athletically. Her body is also rather feminine, with a hip to bust ratio she can't complain about. She has a slightly tanned complexion, dotted with freckles from all of her time outside and in the heat. Her face is rather pretty, despite the constant fighting she partakes in, and has all of the normal features you would expect. A wide nose, thin lips and two big eyes. She has long, girly, eyelashes and thick and dark eyebrows. Her "relaxed" face often looks a bit like a scowl, to the point in which people often ask her if something is wrong.

Kylie has gotten make scars during her time in the Skulls. Most of these scars are unintentional from all of the fights she had gotten in. These vary from light scars to deep and 'ugly' scars that she takes no pride in. The first scar of many she got was a cut across her eyebrow, from a knife fight with a police officer. She got out mostly unscathed but received a nasty cut through her eyebrow. It's long since healed, but the hair hasn't grown back. The rest of her scars are completely random, except for her largest and least favorite. A large, X shaped, slash across her back. She got this one during Opperation Terrier, and always said it was the second most dissipointing thing she had ever done.

Some of the more intentional permanent markings on Kylie are her various tattoos. She only has a few, but wants to get a lot more. Her first tattoo was a Sugar Skull, the mark of the Skulls, right above her left breast, on her collar. On the inside of her left wrist is a bird silloette, and on her right there is a blacked out lighter. On her left shoulder there is a series of numbers: 4413 and on her right there is the profile of a blanked out face. She never told anyone, not even the Skulls, who is featured in the tattoo or what the numbers mean.

The only thing Kylie really takes the time to make nice is her hair. Right after she joined the Skulls she bleached it then dyed it a dark green. She then cut it up as a symbolic way of getting rid of her past. Most of it is chopped up short, except for a section of hair closest to her forehead. This hair is always styled up in a pompadour using lots of gel and grease. She will literally manipulate the grease and oil in her hair products, and in her hair, to keep it perfectly styled at all times.

Attire: Leather. Like any good greaser Kylie always has one piece of leather clothing on her, almost always it's her leather jacket. She takes great pride in this jacket, and on the back of it is a highly detailed sugar skull with the word "Grease" underneath it in thick lettering. The rest of her clothes change from day to day. She normally wears, very tight, black skinny jeans with rips in the knees, and a white tee shirt with some sort of design or logo on it. Her earrings rarely change, six studs in each ear, but she does take them out to sleep, complaining that they dig into her if she sleeps on her side. She loves her accessories, wearing multiple rings on each finger, of different shapes, sizes and colors. She also proudly displays a nose stud and is planning many more piercings. On her feet are always a pair of grubby, converse style, sneakers that are so old and worn that their color is faded.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Okay so I suck at writing personalities, and I prefer to go into mare detail when the ic come around, so this is gonna be really vague and dumb. On the outside Kylie likes to act like the badass chick she is. She refuses to take CENSORED from anyone who is of lower rank then her. Kylie is extremely foul-mouthed (except around children and the elderly) and has the tendency to go into a berserk rage when a certain moment was to come along. She is extremely loyal to the Skulls, ready to defend the weaker members to the death. This doesn't mean that she will outright hurt anyone who is not allied with the Skulls, unless you give her a reason or you are a cop. Kylie isn't the smartest person on the planet, and isn't good at quick comebacks, rather thinking with flying fists.

Despite this rough and tough exterior, Kylie is not without her own personal weaknesses. She would never hurt a child or a lady, and would actually go out of her way to protect someone weaker then her. She also harbors a very dark inner secret that she refuses to tell anyone. This secret is extremely mentally taxing for her, and can cause her to physically freeze if she is reminded of it.

Hobbies/Interests: As if it wasn't obvious enough, Kylie loves motorcycles. Fixing them, riding them, slamming them into people she dislikes. She also loves hanging out with her friends, smoking, causing chaos and petting little animals. Kylie loves cats and dogs and everything else. As much as she tries to keep up the scary face, the second she sees a kitten she is melting.

Skills/Talents:
Kylie has a few random talents, but nothing extremely out there. She is relatively good at some combat related things, she has good aim and knows how to throw a punch without breaking her fingers. But other then that she isn't too good at anything else, or at least nothing else that is not in relation to her powers. Where Kylie really excels is in her ability to keep a cool head when things are getting rough, being able to get her and her crew out of hair situations with some choice words. She has also taken up graffiti art in recent years, as both a distraction and a time waster.

Prized Possession: A worn, brown, teddy bear. Don't mess with it or even think about messing it or Kylie would kick asses.

History/Bio: Kylie spent her entire life with motorcycles, her parents would joke she rode a bike before she learned to walk. She lived with her mother and father and little sister, all of whom rode motorcycles like her, until some sad CENSORED happened and Kylie ran away from home. She turned to bad stuff like drugs and alcohol and illegal things until she was found by the Skulls and the rest is history, in which Kylie vowed to redeem herself. Only the Skulls know her story, some more then others, but they don't know the entire story. ((Maxx, if you want to hear the whole thing I'm willing to send it to you))


Relationships



Family: At one point she had a mother, father and sister, her mother and father of unknown location, or more like they don't know where Kylie is. Kylie knows where her sister is, six feet under.
Friends: The Skulls. Kylie considers them her main priority in protecting and being with.
Enemies: Rival gangs, the police, and drunk drivers. Kylie hates drunk drivers.
Lovers: Kylie loves all of the Skulls, like siblings. She has a small crush on one member, but refuses to make anything out of it in fear of crushing their family dynamics.
Marital Status: Married to her motorcycle.

This general definition includes organic oils which are produced by living organisms and mineral oils meaning crude oil, or petroleum."

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that Kylie is resistant to fire, so she can set herself or her oils on fire and launch them at people. And to keep this power away from Allen's she cannot control the fires she makes, only the oil. If she adds more oil, more fire.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: (Thanks to maxx and lieo for helping) Kylie's powers have a few cutbacks, she can only control fires that are gas or oil related. She also needs oxygen for her powers to work, so inside of places with a lack of oxygen would greatly weaken her.

Hair Color: Originally brown, dyed a bright and eye-catching red.

Well, I'm not gonna mince words here: Leila's the brains, but damn Cordelia's not the looks. She's shapely, natural curves smoothed and augmented by years of staying in peak physical condition (trying to keep pace with a superhuman in workouts does that to you) and a physically demanding job. She's got a good tan going from a lot of time spent outdoors, either on early morning jogs or trailing people around all day, and pays closer attention to her looks than her partner does. Cordelia was blessed with clear skin and cooperative hair, but she normally keeps it back in a ponytail rather than doing much with it. She's usually wearing "inconspicuous" clothing for her job, but prefers to wear athletic attire when she's not on the job or just relaxing, which is usually okay with most of the people around her. As such, there's not really a set outfit or style she prefers, but she's the type that can make about anything work. Cordelia's generally grinning, just because she really only gets serious whenever fecal matter's about to hit the fan, and if she's not grinning, she's laughing. Cordelia walks lazily and calmly, blending self-confidence with apathy surprisingly well. She speaks loudly and without giving much thought to what's coming out of her mouth (outside of the workplace) and has more than a few calluses on her hands and several bruises on her arms and legs at any given time. She normally wears a rig underneath her shirt or a small piece tucked into her boot, however, if she's really gearing up for a party, she'll "appropriate" some riot gear out of the ACPD armory (somehow, she manages to convince the poor lonely armorer to let a few pieces go missing every now and then) and dress to impress.

Personality


Outward & Innate Personality:

Cordelia's confident. Not in the same way that Leila is; whereas Leila's is derived from her extensive preparation and planning, Cordelia's is mostly from luck and winging it. She's certainly talented, however-and clever. Cordelia was halfway through med school when she decided that being a doctor (a lucrative profession, given Aurum's state of war) was too boring and decided to join up with the police force instead. She's an adrenaline junkie, a quick-thinker, and hot-headed. She acts intuitively and prefers emotion to logic. She loves a good time but has also found a fascination with her job: there's always work to be done with the ACPD, and Cordelia was willing to answer the call. From the visceral pleasure of a car chase to shoot-outs to the mountains of paperwork, Agent Cordelia Lynn feels she's found her niche. Her skills have quickly let her move into the position of investigator, and the ACPD has her doing investigative work, which is a fancy police term the ACPD uses for taking out hits on Skulls or Sammies when necessary. She doesn't pay much attention to the bureaucracy, or even the conflict in general: she knows where she stands and doesn't see much point in wasting time over the morality of it. While she tends to prefer gentler means than her partner of achieving peace, Cordelia's not one to shy away from justice and, even in her brief time in law enforcement, has seen the necessity for force in dealing with threats. She's kind, but can often get carried away with joking/teasing and not realize when she's said something abrasive. She's the type that will fill an awkward silence with even more awkward small talk rather than let there be silence, and has already firmly established her position as the office prankster. While she's not prejudiced, per se, she does view the metahumans as a negative influence on both Aurum and the world as a whole, and feels that, while at times brutal, the ACPD is not unjustified in keeping the population of Aurum safe.

Hobbies/Interests:

Well, she used to love mountain climbing, buuuuut the whole dome of time and space makes that one tricky. She's taken to a lot of hobbies involving her hands, to improve her dexterity. Carving, whittling, painting, ammo reloading, helping assemble explosives, and cleaning and repairing guns and armor take up the majority of Cordelia's free time. She also enjoys target practice.

Skills/Talents:

Investigative work, lockpicking (another hobby), marksmanship (she is a crack shot) and hand to hand combat. Additionally, she's charismatic and good-looking, so her attempts to win over her male (or certain gas-mask wearing females) friends usually wind up working. She's also good at running and in good physical shape overall, with some medical training and a more advanced comprehension of health beyond mere first aid.

Prized Possession:

A small necklace that she always keeps on her. It's eternally warm and glows more the colder it is around it, but is still able to be concealed easily.

Physical Appearance: Shaun is a small, harmless-looking fellow of average height with a birdlike build and a narrow chest. Though he looks weak and flimsy, Shaun is quite well-built, and under his shirt he is very fit, with six-pack abs and well-defined musculature. He has a roughly trapezoidal face, being wide at the top (he has a large forehead) and slowly tapering off as it approaches his pointy cleft chin. Shaun has slim pink lips that seem to be constantly locked in a thin line, as if he’s concentrating. He has high arching brown eyebrows and light olive eyes that sparkle with intelligence. His hair is combed very neatly into two curtains that part in the middle of his head, keeping his face clear of hair and making him look nicer. Arcing down his left cheek is a very faded white scar. Shaun has large ears that stick out from his head comically, or at least they did. His right ear was cut in half, so Shaun hides it under his hair. The left is of the same size as it used to be. His nose is small and slightly crooked, with a lump on the bridge, a sign that it’s been broken several times. When Shaun gets excited, he wears a goofy smile on his face, and when he’s angry, simply a disappointed frown. Shaun’s back is a patchwork of scars that look like they were made with a whip of some sort.
Attire: Shaun’s general attire is semi-formal. You will rarely find him not wearing a pair of dress slacks and a collared shirt. He generally likes to look good, and always looks put-together and well-groomed. Shaun’s footwear of choice is generally a pair of comfortable docksiders or black dress shoes if he’s feeling formal. Normally, Shaun wears a tan military-style jacket (not a peacoat, but one of the more denim-looking ones) or a light blazer. If it’s warm out, he’ll wear no jacket. Shaun carries a black straight ivory cane with him wherever he goes that acts as his weapon when he fights.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Shaun is brilliant, wise, and determined, three things that make for a great leader. He is super-intelligent firstly (he has a PhD in physics and a masters in nuclear chemistry) and is a great analyzer. He has a perfect memory (this is actually one of his abilities) and pays close attention to every detail. He’s taught himself the mind palace memorization method used in Sherlock to help him sort through his already-eidetic memory. Shaun is good at channeling his emotions properly. He is rarely known to get visibly angry, and few have seen him as such. He has had some bad things happen to him at the hand of some bad people, but he doesn’t feel hatred or retribution. Because Shaun hypothesizes that if he feels hatred for those who hate him, then he becomes no better than them, and, quite frankly, he wants to be better than them. Acts of violence against the humans, like the Skulls commit, only make metas look like the monsters they are portrayed to be. Shaun is a firm believer that many things in life are self-fulfilling prophecies. If people believe that metas are monsters, then metas will become monsters. But if he can change the opinion of the people so that they believe meta humans to be people, then meta humans will act like people. That said, there is a lot of retribution buried deep down in Shaun. Despite his philosophical thinking and mindset, he has a hard time forgiving others in his heart. It’s not really anger he feels for them, but disappointment. He is disappointed in them for not being the best that the human race can be. He knows that they could be better, but they choose not to be. Because of this, Shaun feels no prejudice towards humans. He only feels let down by the bad ones. Shaun is a fantastic wordsmith, and is good at raising morale or inspiring people to do something. He has a lot of charisma.
Hobbies/Interests: Shaun used to sail, but there aren’t any bodies of water significant enough to do so in Aurum so he can’t anymore. He mainly reads most of the time, and works out every day with Raphael (he runs and lifts weights in the mansion’s state-of-the-art gym). Occasionally, he plays basketball (though he’s not any good). He spends a lot of his time having philosophical discussions with others and loves to share what he knows. Most of Shaun’s Saturday nights are spent in the living room of Smithton Mansion in a leather armchair by the fire, debating philosophy or politics with Raphael.
Skills/Talents: Shaun is good at debating and rhetoric (public speaking). He is incredibly logical and good at deducing things. Shaun is above-average at piano, but is no concert pianist and rarely ever plays. Shaun has taken jiu jitsu classes before, but mostly learns his combat skills from Raphael. He is a decent fighter (good enough to hold his own, especially considering his power). He is a decent shot with a pistol, but is a very good shot with a rifle. Shaun’s intellect is mammoth, and he has an IQ of 200. He can calculate complex equations in milliseconds. History/Bio: Shaun was born in Atlanta Georgia, the second-born son of a CDC epidemiologist and an aerospace engineer. His entire childhood, Shaun grew up in the shadow of an older brother who was smarter, stronger, and better than him. His brother was especially cruel to him, and would often prove to Shaun how much smarter he was by challenging him with near-impossible puzzles. Due to his brother’s constant prodding and his parents’ intellects, Shaun decided to become as intelligent as he could be. He hit the books as hard as he could, and became a straight-A student. At age 13, his family moved to Fairfax, Virginia, where Shaun attended Thomas Jefferson High School. At this point, his brother went off to Harvard, an act that enraged Shaun, as it seemed to him as if his brother were flaunting his knowledge. The last thing that Shaun’s brother did is tell Shaun that he loved him and that he had challenged him all his life to make him prepared. The two parted in friendly conditions.
While at Jefferson, Shaun continued his straight-A run. His mother was a teacher at another school so as not to embarrass her son, and his father took up a job teaching biology at the nearby George Mason University. Shaun was a straight-A student in every subject but one; chemistry. It was a subject that he believed held a shadow over his bright future. He got a C in chemistry, and that dropped his class rank down to fourth. Throughout the rest of his time, he worked as hard as he could and took no free time to relax. Shaun never had a high school sweetheart, never went to crazy parties, and never participated in any extracurriculars. Shaun’s sole break was when he and his father would get up early on the weekends and go sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. Shaun loved sailing; it was his passion above all other things. He felt at home on the water, like it was where he belonged. Thanks to his efforts, Shaun graduated second out of his class, but it wasn’t enough. Because Shaun never had any extracurricular activities, most of the better colleges denied him. Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, U Penn, Cornell, Colgate, Dartmouth, Hopkins; all of them gave him a vehement “no”. Crushed and distraught, Shaun turned to alcohol for a time to ease his mind. The addiction destroyed the end of his senior year, but he somehow was able to eek out an A for his final project, saving his crashing grades. Soon after, he went to the best school that would take him; Aurum University. He went on no scholarship and was forced to get a job to pay part of the tuition, for his mother had been laid off and his father’s job wasn’t sufficient to pay a college tuition. Shaun hoped to go pre med at Aurum and become a doctor. That summer, though, everything changed. Shaun learned that his old chemistry teacher, the one that he had struggled under without any help, had sexually abused Shaun’s best friend at Jefferson, a girl named Sasha. This lit a fire under Shaun, and inspired him to put down the drinking and go after the man who had tormented his friend. At first, Shaun was planning to murder the corrupt teacher, but Sasha herself convinced him otherwise. She told Shaun that there was a better way to stop him, and that violence solved no problems. So Shaun had a better idea. He visited the teacher at the police office (he had been arrested) and said to him that he was going to major in chemistry and then take his job to show the bastard of a man how truly useless he was. “I have one goal left in life,” Shaun said “To be better than you!”
That summer, Shaun left for Aurum. He still video chatted with Sasha, who seemed more and more distraught as the year went on. She was attending Yale with a physics major, and convinced Shaun to minor in physics as well. He quickly found a love for the science of physics, and in his second year, he switched his major to physics. Sasha moved to AU without telling Shaun. She knew he’d protest if she did. Once arriving there, she told Shaun that she loved him, and Shaun’s first relationship began. Everything changed when the Aurum Event happened. Shaun was at the zenith of his life. He was happier than he’d ever been and his grades skyrocketed. Then the particle collider exploded. The two were at a party at the time with some friends of Sasha’s in Little Rome. The explosion nearly destroyed the house they were in, and two of Sasha’s friends died instantly, crushed by debris. Shaun and Sasha lived. Shaun’s powers manifested six months later, on the same day that Sasha developed a malignant breast tumor. The cancer metastasized at a freakish rate, faster than anyone could have expected. Sasha White was dead in eight months. Shaun was crushed again, but he didn’t waver. This time he had something to fight for. He would spend the rest of his days making Sasha as proud of him as he could. Once more, nothing else mattered. Due to his advanced intellect, Shaun had a PhD in physics in his fifth year of college, and got a masters in nuclear chemistry (he switched majors) a year later. He kept going to school, now under a full scholarship. He was given a job as a physics professor, and took it eagerly. Shaun soon added a bachelor’s in philosophy and a bachelors in genetics by age 25. One night, Shaun was walking down the street of Ft.Braxton, on the way back from dinner with a friend, when Shaun was attacked by local police. They cut off half of his right ear, and beat him mercilessly. They attempted to cut his cheeks and give him a Glasgow Smile when Raphael showed up and stopped them. The two escaped in Raphael’s car and came back to AU. Both of them scholars and metas, the two quickly became both friends and intellectual rivals. This was when, with the help of Raphael, Shaun founded the Society for the Advancement of Meta Humans, in order to protect the rights of metas from infringement by the police. Ever since, Shaun has fought the ACPD as peacefully as he could. There is a picture of Sasha on his dresser mirror, and every day it is the first thing he looks at.

Abilities

Power: Shaun has the most powerful mind in the world. Firstly, he is supernaturally intelligent. He has the only truly eidetic memory in the world, able to memorize anything instantly. Shaun has entire college textbooks committed to memory. He has memorized the street maps of Aurum and the location of all police patrols and offices. Chances are, if you want to ask someone something, ask Shaun, because he’ll probably know. Shaun’s mental processing power is similar to that of a supercomputer's. He can calculate complex equations in under a second. Secondly, Shaun is a telepath. He can read other’s minds, allowing him to anticipate what they’re about to do and sense their presence. You don’t lie to Shaun, and he’s skilled enough to avoid the usual constantly-think-of-completely-random-things-to-stop-the-telepath trap. Shaun can connect to up to six different minds at once, allowing him to read their thoughts and know what they’re going to do. He uses his telepathy in combat to anticipate what opponents are going to do before they do it. This makes Shaun good in a fight, as he has superhuman reflexes. His telepathy allows him to easily detect lies. Thirdly, Shaun has the ability to read DNA. This power allows him to see the genetic code of others. This means that he can tell if someone is a meta-human and if people are related.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Shaun, firstly, is just as weak and fragile as a normal human. His telepathy has a limit of 100 meters. He can only fully access six minds at once, so if seven people or more are fighting him, he will have trouble detecting the movements of the seventh. If Shaun is concussed, he temporarily loses his telepathy.

Other: Shaun occasionally carries a nickel-plated Browning Hi-power .40 S&W. He only uses it when absolutely necessary, and it is normally loaded with either rubber or salt rock bullets. Shaun drives a silver Cadillac ELR.

Appearance

Ethnicity: Alex is South African, Indian, and Italian, though his skin is a purplish red.
Physical Appearance: Skeleton looks like he lives in a gym. Easily the most physically-fit member of the Skulls, he has a massive bulk with a barrel chest and a six pack that makes all other six packs jealous. Being wanted by the police makes doing that last set at the gym that much easier. There is no point in describing Skeleton’s face because you’ll never see it. Skeleton’s entire body is covered in awful burns and skin cancers. His skin is an unhealthy purplish red, dotted with rough boil-like blemishes. His body is a patchwork of scars as well. A terrible ropelike scar trails down his back, and his wrist has been slit open several times (not of his own doing).
Attire: All of Skeleton’s skin has clothing covering it. He wears a pair of long camo cargo pants tucked into a pair of black combat boots. Around his waist is a chain belt with a heavy silver skull buckle. He wears a white tee shirt on his top half, and over this is his black leather jacket. The jacket has spikes on the epaulettes and is always zipped up. On the back of it is a sugar skull, the logo of the Skulls. Covering Skeleton’s head and face is a skull balaclava, which is where he gets the nickname “Skeleton” from. Covering his eyes is a pair of black polarized Oakley sunglasses. The balaclava is shaped in such a way that it covers all of the skin that the sunglasses do not. The mouth of the balaclava is made of a mesh that allows him to drink through it. Skeleton doesn’t eat when Skull peons are around, and the only people who ever see him eat are Nex, Grease, and Archer (he doesn’t like Faust). On his head is a black half biker helmet with a row of spikes trailing down the middle of it. On Skeleton’s hands are a pair of gloves designed to look like a skeletal hand. They are SAP gloves, with pieces of metal in the knuckles, similar to brass knuckles.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Skeleton is The Dragon, The Noble Demon, a Challenge-Seeker, and, most importantly, an anti-villain with vengeance on his mind. Incase you’re lazy and won’t read the above tropes, I will give you a basic summary. Skeleton is a villain with a bit of a heart. He believes that being honorable in combat is the way to go, and that petty acts of violence and backstabbing are cowardly. Infact, the only reason why he’s still in the Skulls is that the Big Five are his closest friends. If he hadn’t grown up with Archer, Nex, Grease, and the late Scar, he’d be long gone. He doesn’t agree with SAM either, though. He doesn’t see peace as a viable alternative to what the police have done. Violence must be dealt, but it must be noble violence. Skeleton doesn’t kill civilians and won’t resort to petty crimes or terrorist attacks on civilian buildings to achieve his goals. This often causes him to clash with other members of the Skulls, who often use terror as a viable option. He is known for being particularly cruel to those foolish Skulls who harm innocent or unarmed people. He refuses to participate in terrorist stunts, but is known for leading attacks on the police. Many times, Skeleton will take on as many dangerous opponents as he possibly can, in order to challenge his body and mind. He gets extremely bored fighting normal mooks, and so will always go after the best of the best on the battlefield. He’d charge a Navy SEAL team head on if he knew it would give him a challenge. He has been known to occasionally deactivate his power just so he could level the playing field with a worthy opponent. Socially, Skeleton is cold and pretty antisocial. He rarely has conversations with other Skulls unless they have proved themselves to be worthy of his friendship, a rare and treasured distinction. Even with his friends, Skeleton is rather cold. He’s not going to be flaunting around his innermost feelings anytime soon.

Hobbies/Interests: Skeleton typically does things that challenge his body and mind. He can be found in the gym a lot, where he does extremely difficult workouts. Another exercise that he does often is MMA, which he does with some of the other Skulls a lot (he’s banned from competing due to his powers). Skeleton does parkour as well, something that is both physically challenging and useful. He reads occasionally as well. His favorite novel is The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
Skills/Talents: Skeleton is extremely strong (though this has nothing to do with his power) and moderately intelligent. He is a fifth-degree black belt in Tae Kwan Doe, and is a world-class fighter. His parkour skills are good enough to allow him more agility on the battlefield, though he’s no assassin and won’t be backflipping over foes anytime soon.
Prized Possession: Probably his balaclava.

History/Bio: Skeleton doesn’t talk about his past. If you ask him about his ubiquitous scars, he will simply say something to the effect of “I was too weak, and this was my reward. I am stronger now.” The source of his scars will be talked about later.

Abilities

Power: Kinetic Energy Absorption/energy redirection. Skeleton has the ability to absorb kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is the energy contained in any physical object with mass that is accelerating (layman’s description here). With this power, Skeleton can nerf pretty much all physical attacks. If you punch Skeleton, your punch will do nothing and he will absorb its energy. If you shoot him, you might as well be firing a peashooter at a wall of concrete. This ability makes him extremely durable and hard to injure. And what can Skeleton do with this energy, you ask? Skeleton can store the energy he absorbs as potential energy, and release it at will. So if, for example, you throw a 90 mph fastball at Skeleton, he can absorb its kinetic energy on contact and then redirect it into a punch, or simply send the ball flying back with the same force and velocity. He can store the energy for long periods of time between use, and release it at will. Unlike other mutants who use this power (*coughsebastianshawcoughs*), Skeleton releases his energy on contact, meaning that he can’t make massive explosions, but if he fell off of a building and hit the ground, he could punch a tank and send it airborne.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Well firstly, Skeleton has no defense against energy powers. Lasers, electricity; all of it can harm him. Secondly, the lower energy an attack has, the more damage it does to skeleton. This is hard to explain, so I’ll give an example from pop culture. In X-men, Sebastian shaw had a very similar power to Skeleton. Magneto killed Shaw by immobilizing him and then slowly pushing a quarter through his forehead and into his brain. If Skeleton is subjected to a low-energy attack like in this example, it will harm him.

Other: Skeleton drives a custom-built 2014 Harley Davidson Iron 883 motorcycle. It is black with flame paint on the sides, and the headlight is shaped like a skull. The wheels have light strips on them, causing the rims to glow dark red at night.

Physical Appearance: Faust doesn't fit the appearance of your average skull. She is without the gruff, hardened, and vicious appearance that the Skulls are famed for. Faust on the other hand, looks as out of place as a Mouse in the Lion exhibit. Faust has more of an appearance to scientists, and evil geniuses. She's short, she's overweight, she's virtually scar-less. She would be more in place as a Sammy (Well, she did, but check her Bio). Faust appears to be a woman in her early thirties, much older than the most of the Skulls and Sammies. Her age shows in her wrinkles, and out of shape appearance. Faust has a thick pot-belly, usually obscured by a heavy amount of clothing. She doesn't display flawless beauty... She's more average in the appearance area, not swooningly sexy, or mirror breakingly ugly. Her facial features are rounded, and fat, not rather pronounced. The most notable part of Faust's face, is her large, round, full, cheeks. They aren't disproportionate to the rest of her face, but they are the first thing most people will notice about her. Her nose is angled, pointed, and hooked, almost like the beak of a bird, it's also fairly small, and short. Her lips are thick, and full, but rather out of place compared to the rest of her face. Her eyes are small, and usually have a angered look in them. An interesting part of Faust's head is that her right ear was seemingly torn clean off. There's a nasty jagged claw scar where her ear should be, and it goes to the back of her head. Faust snarks saying that she lost it when she tried to experiment on lions in a zoo. Her hair is an orange color, and is very spiky, like a crazed scientist would have their hair.

Attire: Faust dresses like a stereotypical scientist, sort of. She wears a large white labcoat almost all the time when she's alone in her lab. Usually she's seen wearing an all-white attire, boots, pants, etc. Which goes heavily against the darker shades of color that the Skulls usually wear. When Faust rarely goes out during the Skull's raids, she flips the script and wears a black attire. She'll wear a black leather longcoat, with more causal clothing underneath it. She'll be seen carrying around something to place vials full of potions in. Usually a bookbag, or a belt. One thing that Faust is never seen without is her goggles, which she wears almost nonstop to cover her eyes.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: A typical to the Skulls, Faust is well-mannered, polite, and seemingly kind to her minions. Whether it's because of her upbringing, or that she finds the Skulls to be a band of savages, is not important. Faust doesn't particularly agree with the ideals of either the Skulls, or the Sammies. She's only really using either faction as protection, she's easily the least loyal to the Skulls. Ultimately, she's in it for herself, and it doesn't matter if the two factions tear each other to pieces and burn the city down - Long as Faust survives, that is. That out of the way, Faust is a generic mad scientist. Her morals are hazy, and the words ethical doesn't apply to her. Which is evident on when she has people kidnapped and experiment on them using her potions. Despite this, she has a few rules on who she experiments on. No experimenting on pregnant women, children, the sick, or the elderly - Unless there's a chance it'll help them. That said, everyone else is fair game. Faust. In the end, her goals are to fully explore her powers, and it's potential. She doesn't strictly do experiments that effect people negatively. Occasionally she visits hospitals and give them potions that'd cure their diseases, and disabilities... Sometimes this hasn't ended well. Faust doesn't have the raw physical strength of the other Skulls, and if you let me indulge in this cliche, she makes up for it in creativity, cleverness, intelligence, and tactics. She likes to appear as if she isn't a threat, someone who isn't capable of hurting a fly, and taking advantage of that. Evident when she once tricked a Sammy into drinking a potion that made his skin melt off.

Skills/Talents: Faust is very intelligent, clever, creative, and observant. She is intelligent enough to easily piece together facts, and to come up with a plan. She is also good at acting, easily able to feign emotion. Also, Faust is very intelligent in the field of biology, a perk of her power, but still a gift. Despite her lack of physical strength, Faust is a fan of using knives and guns. She's a good shot with a pistol, and can kill foes with easy with a knife or two.

History/Bio: There's not much to talk about her story, until Faust discovered her power. Once Faust discovered her powers, she immediately started experimenting. She started experimenting on the homeless, giving them potions that'd turn them into monsters that'd rampage around, and ultimately get killed by the police, or the rapid changes to their body. The police didn't take too kindly to this, and immediately put Faust on their hitlist. Being a near defenseless woman, Faust had no choice but to join a faction. She joined SAM at first, staying in the background, occasionally helping with big missions by supplying the faction with potions that helped them get by. All while she returned to the night to experiment on the homeless. For months, this went by unnoticed, until Shaun caught her one night, and with his Telepathy, he learned the truth. Faust was booted from SAM, and had no where else to go. Despite the fact she doesn't share their views, she was forced to join the Skulls. She quickly gained favor with the Skulls for her power, and her experiments, and ascended to the Big Five. Working in the background, Faust's work has made the members of the Skulls even harder to kill.


Abilities


Power: Elixir Creation. Faust's power is simple, but is extremely versatile, and makes her more powerful than you may think. She has the ability to "enchant" or "imbue" any body of liquid (It has to be in a container though) and turn it into a potion, giving it the ability to alter the biology of whoever consumes it. Faust's potions can alter the biology in any way imaginable, but they're specified to alter one aspect of a human being. She can create potions that heal people, poison them, change their appearance, enhance natural abilities, interfere with powers, play with emotions, cause hallucinations, restore lost limbs/remove disabilities, etc. Yeah, there's much more her potions can do, but this sheet will be enormous if I list each and every last thing, but that should give everyone an idea. While Faust's potions can change people's biology, her specialty is creating potions that turn people into horrible monsters, with their own powers. These monsters usually have enhanced strength, healing, and durability, but the exact abilities of these monsters heavily depend on the kind of potion.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: The potency of the potions depend on how much is consumed. Drinking one drop of the potion will do next to nothing to someone's biology. That said, for her potions to do the more amazing things, someone needs to drink a lot of it, at least a pint. The effects of Faust's potions are temporary, and the effects usually last a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. Unless it's a potion that heals, cures diseases/disabilities, or triggers a small physical change in a person's facial features. Any monsters that Faust creates will be turned back to normal within an hour. It's difficult for Faust to create potions on the fly, she needs concentration, a liquid, and it's hard to get the former when she's being shot at. Heh.

Eye Color: Cruor’s irises are...complicated. It appears as if there is a fire raging in them, crackling brightly. The size and intensity of the fires change with his mood.
Ethnicity: American, but his family is from Romania and England.
Physical Appearance: Tall, long, and handsome, Nex looks more like a suave gentleman than he does a biker. He is very slim, with long, well-toned arms and legs and a flat stomach (but he’s not quite a possessor of the almighty sixpack). Nex is rather handsome, with a strong jawline and bony, angular features. His face is normally bent into a wicked, confident smile. That’s one thing that Nex reeks of; confidence. All of his moves are graceful and smooth, as if well-planned, and he walks in a slow, fluid strut, as if he’s walking slowly so everyone can see him. Back on point, Nex’s nose is angular and rigid, and his cheekbones are visible and sharp. His ears are small and lay flat against his head. Nex’s eyes are large and heavily animated thanks to thin, malleable eyebrows. He normally wears sunglasses to cover his eyes, as they are a subject of great talk. Nex’s hair is jet black and is slicked back against his head with hairgel, making it look professional and elegant. Nex’s body is relatively devoid of scars, save one that arches across his left shoulder, courtesy of a car crash. On Nex’s left breast is a tattoo of a sugar skull, the original Skulls logo.
Attire: When he’s out on the street or in a formal setting, Nex dresses like he raided GQ’s next edition. His aim is to look professional and elegant. He usually wears a white collared shirt with trousers (usually black or grey), and a black leather pea coat. On his feet are a pair of black boots, and on his hands are black driving gloves. When Cruor goes into combat mode (ie he’s carrying out a raid/terrorist attack, or is just with a group of skulls), his wardrobe changes drastically. He wears the same style shirt, but opts for leather pants instead of trousers and knee-high black biker boots with buckles on them that are shaped like skulls. Instead of a leather pea coat, combat-mode Nex wears a leather trench coat with the Skulls logo on the back. The collar of this trench coat is always popped, giving him the nickname "Dracula". In both forms, Nex wears a pair of polarized black Lacoste sunglasses. Hanging from scabbards on his waist in this form are two broadswords.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: I really don’t have to say anything else.
Hobbies/Interests: Manipulating people, generally. Nex trains on occasion with Skeleton, Archer, and Grease, often being Skeleton’s sparring partner due to his durability. He drinks with the other higher-ranking Skulls quite a bit, and tries to be a man of the people, often socializing with other members of the group. He’s a smoker as well. Nex also likes chess, but he can rarely find anyone good enough to pose a challenge to him.
Skills/Talents: Nex is a chess master, due to his high intellect and planning skills. He is skilled in combat with his swords and has been trained in hand-to-hand combat by Skeleton. He has the approximate fighting skill of a redbelt. He is trying to learn latin, and knows very limited French.
Prized Possession: Cruor puts very little into physical possessions. If he could pick a metaphysical possession, it would be his intellect and planning skills.

Physical Appearance: Anthony, at first glance, is of average height with a normal weight for his size. His wavy hair is usually not combed, though it naturally falls in place covering much of his forehead and curving to the left. He takes great care in shaving his bodily hair, and light stubble is carefully maintained on his face. Due to his shaving, his eyebrows are thin. Anthony has moderately high cheekbones and thin, long nose. He also has a very slightly clefted chin and a rather prominent jawline. His teeth are tediously brushed and whitened, though one tooth on the right side of his lower jaw is slightly crooked. His ears are of medium size. He isn’t particularly muscular, though he is somewhat toned due to swimming as a habit. He isn't particularly handsome, though his looks cannot be described as ugly either. These t-shirts almost always have the logos of bands that he likes, ranging from the Black Keys to Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He will wear Nike sneakers, skate shoes, with a white logo and black coloring on the rest of the shoe. He wears thin, white socks that are of athletic brands. Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Like stated, Anthony appears to be cool, calm, and collected on the outside. However, inwardly, his mind is constantly rushing. He second guesses nearly everything, and it bothers him if he is unable to think over every possibility for a situation. Due to this, he can be rather paranoid at times, but he is an adaptable person and often aware of every detail. Anthony is a kind person, easy to make friends, and is usually loyal to these friends. However, due to his personality as described before, he can sometimes distance himself from his friends due to second guessing and being unaware of people's true intentions. Anthony is not a spiritual person, and is an atheist. He also does not believe in luck and chance, instead subscribing to the belief that everything happens for a reason. This extends from his tendency to be very logical, and often wants or needs a rational explanation to something that occurs or an answer to the problem. Anthony is a very skeptical person, often observing people to determine if they should be trusted or not. He also has well established morals, and does not believe that he should harm someone else unless it is justified. Despite being a muta human he is more sympathetic towards the ACPD, as he is a forgiving person, and subscribes to the rules of the SAM very stringently.

Hobbies/Interests: Anthony enjoys swimming very much, in particular the freestyle stroke. He sees swimming as a way to ease his mind and calm himself, and thus will often be seen at a pool. He has also takes martial arts classes, another athletic activity that he finds helps to take his mind off of stress and calms him, despite what it is. Anthony also enjoys tweaking, fixing, and building computers, skilled in knowledge of hardware and technology in general. Another hobby of his is reading - His favorite book is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.

Skills/Talents: Anthony is skilled at swimming as well as martial arts, in particular at Nindokai. He is also very talented at repairing, building, and modding computer hardware, oftentimes building his own devices rather than buy them. Anthony is skilled with a pistol, though he dislikes rifles. Anthony knows English, Spanish, Russian, and Latin, though he is not particularly skilled in any of these aside from his native English.

Abilities


Power: Anthony has the ability to manipulate and emit vibrations. This allows him to do several things. He can create bursts of violent shockwaves as well as simply pushing people or objects back. Should he choose to, he can shatter fragile objects such as glass. By vibrating objects he can also cause lateral repulsion, and said object will push anything that gets near it away. This power can also allow him to increase his strength to a degree, as well as alter the sharpness of weapons such as knives. This power can be effective both at close and long range, though its power diminishes with distance.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Vibration force does not discriminate between friend and foe, obviously, so Anthony may harm a friend or someone else with the use of his power. Anthony suffers from headaches and may tire quickly due to his abilities, forcing him to adapt a hit and run strategy when in combat. Aside from this, Anthony has the average speed and frailty of an average human - He isn't immune to any type of attack. The exception is that his own vibrations cannot cause serious internal injuries to himself, but he can be thrown off balance by them.

Other: One Might assumE ThAt Anthony is, Maybe, a pretty cOol peRson. His abilities might Pale in comparison to tHe Others, but that'S fIne. AnywayS, I'll finish this.

Also Anthony drives a 2008 Audi A5 that has been refurbished, due to his preference for luxury but the fact that he doesn't want to attract too much attention.

Matthew is about average height for a male, but is very physically fit. While only slightly taller than his adopted sister and not quite as intimidating, he isn’t the type of person people just go around to mess with. He’s built very much like this man except without the tattoos on his body. He does have a tattoo sleeve on his right arm, though.
Attire:
Matthew’s attire is relatively regular. Just a long sleeve shirt and some sweat pants with heavy-duty running shoes. He wears things that are as comfortable as possible. He also wears gloves on his hands for insulation’s sake. Electricity tingles when being absorbed, and tingling isn’t that much fun. So he makes sure to avoid it.

Let it be known that is a very short list of his powers. He, with enough practice, can learn to use just about anything. However, these are the only things he is mastered and therefor the only things he will use in combat until he masters another power (like fire for example, a power I hope for him to gain fairly soon).

General
Matthew has several abilities that come with his power. One, which is the most notable, is his ability to absorb and use 'elements' (and I use that term loosely). Meaning he has more than just the list here he can use, he just needs more practice with them in order to do so. Nothing is worse than a click that should've been a bang and a bang that should've been a click. A side note on this is that for non-solid powers he has the ability to indirectly absorb the energy form without actually touching it, so absorbing electricity or Neon wouldn’t shock him. He also has the ability to heal very quickly and bounce back from injuries like gunshots, the speed of which depends on the form of power he takes. For example, smoke is the fastest, while more defensive powers such as ice or concrete are the slowest. Finally, physical capabilities are enhanced by his powers. He is no hulk, and normal people can still out-strength him if they are smart enough. However, with enough exhortation he can push a car (that is righted on it’s wheels) sideways, although this will be very difficult for him.

Smoke
The ability to use smoke as a weapon or tool, from shooting ranged smoke shots to throwing the equivalent of a smoke bomb.  He can also use this to elevate himself like small thrusters, or smoke dash (turning into smoke) about sixty feet. His sulfur bomb (which will leave those he throws them at coughing, hacking and with limited sight) is nonlethal and relatively harmless. His punches or tonfa strikes become burning hot and extremely painful. The weakness of this is that when he is smoke dashing or transforming into smoke that being blown away can severely limit him. It can take a longer amount of time for him to reform and if he attacks before he fully reforms his arm’s ashes can come off. Of course, this will reform after a few seconds as usual, but it takes longer and provides a window of opportunity.

Concrete
Concrete is his main defensive power. In a city it’s very easy to find and is incredibly strong. In a way, with concrete as his chosen power he can earth bend in a way. From becoming a juggernaut and completely encompassing himself in shards of concrete (for a short time, like his Smoke dash ability) so shooting pieces of concrete from the ground to knock enemies into the air, concrete is his tanky, defensive power. He, like with smoke, can hover with concrete, except he is much slower in the air with it as a downside. On the upside to this he can achieve a much greater height with the concrete ability. He doesn’t use his tonfa with this ability for fear of breaking it. Instead and covers with hands with concrete and punches. He can also create body casts of concrete around foes to trap them until they either break out or he lets them out. Concrete is extremely strong, but it’s also brittle. If it is broken through it will take him a few seconds to raise his defenses again, as it is a powerful ability and therefor takes some time to charge.

Electricity
Electricity is a fun one. Much like Neon (below), he has the ability to run very VERY fast in this form, becoming a human lightning bolt if you will. Electricity crackles off him and his body will vibrate into a fuzzy shape of a human for a few milliseconds at times.  This power, while not physically powerful like concrete, is as I have mentioned very fast. He is very hard to keep track of and his attacks move at a much faster rate, striking more with quantity than quality. His physical attacks are either shooting lower voltage bolts of electricity (Not enough to kill you but will knock you out after a few shots) or attacking with his metal tonfas. Metal conducts electricity, so it’s REALLY going to hurt. When in water he will fizzle and charge. While this wont hurt him, it will hurt everyone in his general area that is wet. Including his friends. He can also ‘short circuit’ himself if he overuses the same attack too much in a given time.

Ice
Ice is a less defensive, faster version of concrete. As another defensive orientated power, he lacks the speed in his ability usage that Neon or Electricity boast, but is only slightly slower than smoke. He can shoot small ice like spears, which he aims for non-vital areas. He cannot hover in this form, but instead can launch himself into the air by forming a small glacier underneath himself with high speed to throw him in the air. He can also create a thick ice shield to protect himself if need be. Ice, while very dense and strong, can be melted by fire and much like concrete can be shattered with enough force.

Neon
Neon is a different breed of electricity power, which is very similar and very different in terms of abilities. While is boasts the speed in mobility of electricity, it doesn’t boast the same attacking speed. Instead of hitting extremely fast Neon targets the nervous system’s weak points, which in a way slows down time for him. He doesn’t fire many quick bolts and instead times one or a few devastating shots. Neon sacrifices quantity for quality. He has the ability to hover in this form, as well as shoot neon pink/blue beams of light as offense. These wont blow a hole in you unless very close range, but will burn a lot never the less. This is the only power that he is able to shoot and hover at the same time, as well as use for more artistic means. Neon’s adverse affects are synonymous with Electricity’s.

Water
The base of ice (listed above). Water is the only liquid power Matt currently knows and isnt very well practiced with it (as of May 3, in Act I). Water, overall, has many different uses. It has everything ice has, but also has the ability to heat up to scalding hot or steam. Scalding water being the more offensive use. However, Matt can freeze the water at will by removing (or adding) energy to the liquid, either turning it into a spear or solid weapon, or making it a geyser of boiling water, or simply trapping enemies in the water and freezing it, or simply strangulation/drowning. Water is one of his most versatile powers and can be used in a variety of situations.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: He can only use one power at a time, and has to come in contact with the source in order to change to new power. On a side note he can decide if he wants to use a different power of his. For example, concrete vs smoke, if he’s on a road he wont immediately get concrete and remove smoke for the time. He can choose when to trade one power for another. On another note he really does have to practice with new elemental powers in order to become really good enough to fight with them as I stated before. His powers are like a muscle and without a lot of practice that muscle will stop working if he doesnt switch to another power, and he cant do that if he's in a pickle and the only elements he has at his disposal are ones he hasnt practiced with. If his 'muscle' stops working too many times all of his powers will stop working for some time too. Water, in it's special case, is an external power. Unlike smoke, or neon, or electricity, and like concrete- the manipulation of water is not energy or substance that he creates or emits after absorbing it. He has to have water around him to use in order to actually use it. The same thing goes for concrete, and ice. Water is also special in that depending on the type of water he's using, electricity is a factor (unless it's seawater, then the salt keeps any dangerous shock at bay).

Physical Appearance: Raphael’s appearance bears stark contrast to his personality. He looks generally rough, with fit muscles and toned stomach. He has the body of a gymnast, being muscular but skinny and agile-looking. He looks like an athlete, many would say. He is a hairy fellow, with dark brown hair on his forearms, chest, and legs. His skin is slightly tanned from being outdoors often. Raphael has a square-shaped head with a square jaw. His teeth are slightly crooked in spots, and one of his incisors are silver-capped. His left canine is false, though you can’t really tell unless you were to get really up close to it (which would be weird). Raphael has a wide, flat nose and wide-set almond-shaped hazel eyes. His eyebrows are thick and straight, adding to his generally rough look. Raphael’s hair is cut very short into a buzz, and is generally unkempt. He is always clean-shaven, as facial hair irritates him. Raphael’s mouth is small and commonly has a rather perturbed expression, as if he is thinking about something. His ears are small and are in-line with his hair. Raphael’s body is generally devoid of scars or wounds of any sort (this is part of his power).

Attire: Raphael dresses in a relatively athletic look. Track pants and tennis shoes are common wear for him, though he occasionally wears jeans. A trademark piece of Raphael’s clothing is his zip-up green fleece hooded sweatshirt, though he doesn’t wear this when it’s warm. He is a fan of band tee shirts and AU shirts (Aurum University’s colors are white, gold, and silver). When training/lifting, Raphael commonly wears basketball shorts. Raphael’s footwear of choice is a pair of Nike Free 4.0s, which are black with a neon green sole. When fighting, Raphael carries a Japanese Wakizashi in a black sheath on his waist, attached to a belt. When on the job, Raphael wears a black suit with a white button-down shirt and a plain-colored tie. There is a gold wedding band on his left ring finger, a sign that he is engaged.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Raphael is the perfect foil for Shaun. His personality greatly contrasts his appearance. Raphael looks like a lug, but he is actually quite intelligent (intelligent enough to pass the Bar exam, at least). He is more of an intellectual bully than Shaun is, and can be arrogant about his knowledge at times. He is one of those people that will openly challenge someone for having the foolish idea that they are more intelligent. Despite this pridefulness, Raphael is generally known to be a pretty good guy. He shares many values with Shaun, and often carries this into the courtroom, where he is an attorney. Raphael doesn’t have a problem with fighting, but would prefer to do battle in a court of law rather than out on the streets. He is known to generally be a snarky guy, and makes a lot of witty comments. Nickname-making and creative comebacks are his MO. While battling, he enjoys taunting his opponents into making stupid moves and then makes them pay for it. Raphael is a generally taciturn guy, but he doesn’t take any sh*t off of anyone. If Raphael is in charge, he wants it done his way and no other. Much like Skeleton, Raphael loves a good challenge. He spends a lot of his time finding new ways to push his mind and body to the limits. He is a firm believer in the marine saying “pain is weakness leaving the body”. If they weren’t on opposing teams, Skeleton and Raphael would probably be friends.

Katrina and Raphael are engaged. Raphael loves her more than anything in the world, even himself. She is the only person in the world that he would die for. If he could, he would walk on water to make her happy. In essence, he is the tryhard husband. He always finds new ways to surprise her and make her happy.

Hobbies/Interests: Raphael works out a ton, and runs every morning. He used to kayak and hike, but there are no rivers or mountains in the Aurum Dome. Raphael likes playing baseball and basketball. He functions as a personal trainer of sorts for the Sammies, and is the main reason why people like Shaun and Katrina aren’t bags of fluff. On warm summer nights with a bottle of beer close in hand, Raphael likes to bust out his old six-string by the fire pit and play guitar. That is probably his favorite thing in the world to do. Raphael likes cars a ton, and spends a lot of his time working on his.

Skills/Talents: Raphael is very intelligent and good at his job. He knows all of the laws of Aurum inside and out. He is a decent guitarist. He’s no Angus Young, but he can strum well and is pretty advanced as far as chords go. Raphael is a good hitter in baseball and is fantastic on defense. He plays second base and shortstop. Raphael is a black belt in karate, and is trained in sword combat. He is extremely good at parkour due to his powers.

Abilities

Power: Raphael is the pinnacle of human physical prowess. He has superhuman strength and speed, allowing him to bench press a thousand pounds and run at 50 mph. He possesses superhuman agility, and has lightning-fast reflexes. Raphael’s reflexes are so good that when in trouble he can actually dilate his view of time, causing everything around him to move at a crawl (this is commonly known as bullet time). Raphael is supernaturally flexible as well, with double joints in every limb and ligaments that allow him to bend in odd ways easily. Things like backflips and handsprings are child’s play for Raphael. This may seem like a girly power (someone told him that before, and he broke their neck for it) but it makes Raphael even more agile in combat and allows him to move in unpredictable ways. Another advantage to that power is that it gives him stretchy skin that bends like that of a honey badger’s, allowing him to grab enemies who have him held by the skin.  Raphael’s aim is perfect as well. He can pluck a pigeon out of the air with a high-powered handgun from 1000 yards. To tie it all together, Raphael can regenerate. Most wounds heal almost instantly for him, with others (ie mortal wounds) taking only seconds.  Raphael has the ability to block pain out during combat. When he is fighting, he goes into what he calls “combat mode”, where his enemy’s motions move more slowly (this is an effect of his advanced agility) and he feels no pain (while at the same time knows he’s been wounded).

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Well firstly, Raphael’s flexibility makes his tendons and ligaments more fragile and prone to damage, though this isn’t much of a problem since he can heal them instantly. Raphael cannot regenerate lost appendages and can only limitedly regenerate brain tissue (ie if you cut his head off, he dies). There are certain things that he cannot heal (for example, drowning, blowing up, being set on fire for long periods of time, splattering, decapitation, etc). His bullet time can only be activated for around twenty seconds a pop, and then it deactivates. It takes five times as long for Raphael to heal from a radiation bullet wound.

Other: Raphael drives black a custom-built 2014 Ford Mustang Boss 302. It has a racecar engine built under the hood, and a nitro boost in the back. It is made with bulletproof glass and siding to protect people inside. It is, in effect, the ultimate getaway car.

Physical Appearance: Katrina is a small, short, skinny girl with tanned, Italian-like skin. Katrina is in no way a musclebound goon, though she is rather physically fit, a byproduct of Raphael’s training and her wicked fast metabolism. She has well-toned legs and arms, with a slight curvature to her body, though she is in no way a head-turner. Her face is relatively heart-shaped, with large, wide eyes that sparkle a sapphire blue color. Her eyes are extremely vivid and clear, like two gemstones. She has a small, soft nose, and tannish-pink (I have no idea what the CENSORED the real name for that color is) lips that contrast nicely with her pearl white teeth when she smiles or laughs. She used to wear a nose stud, but Raphael told her that he didn’t like it, so she no longer does. There is a small, semicircular cut in the right corner of her mouth. Her ears are of average size; the tops of them are normally covered by her hair. Katrina’s hair is short and windswept-looking, coming down to the back of her neck and then appearing to be blown to the right. Whether she combs it that way or it’s a byproduct of her power is up to your interpretation. If she’s at a special event and is trying to look nice, she’ll wear it in a french twist. Being a meta in Aurum, Katrina has a few different scars, though her appearance, gender, and boyfriend/fiance have prevented her from being too heavily-damaged. There are several small cuts on her back, and one small one at the bottom of her neck, as if someone tried to slit her throat but failed epicly.
Attire: Katrina is definitely not a girly girl. Katrina’s average outfit consists of a pair of skinny jeans, a tank top, and a long shirt, usually flannel. that is either unbuttoned or half-buttoned. She likes flannel a lot. On occasion, one will find her wearing Raphael’s jacket. She likes wearing sandals, and only wears shoes when she’s either training with Raphael or it’s too cold outside. On her right wrist is a silver charm bracelet with several different charms on it: an Eiffel tower, a dancer’s shoe, a blue glass bead that appears to have white swirls all over it, a gold cube-shaped charm that says “AU” in silver on it, a microphone, and a red bead shaped like a heart. On her left hand is a platinum engagement ring with three diamonds on it; two small ones and a larger one in between them. On occasion, Katrina will wear a silver locket that Raphael got her for their third anniversary. Inside is a picture of both of them together.

This isn’t technically “appearance”, but Katrina talks with a slight New Orleans accent.

Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Katrina is a fun-loving hyper woman. She is brimming with energy and is always expending it. She talks a lot, so much that sometimes she keeps talking until she runs out of breath and needs to stop mid-runon-sentence (Raphael tells her this is extremely cute). If Katrina is talking about something she’s passionate about, she can talk for hours on end without stopping. Despite this talent of her’s, Katrina is often designated as socially awkward. She doesn’t really know how to act around people, and so she just buried them in words. She is known for saying or doing very stupid things simply because she didn’t know how else to act. She can be slightly immature from time to time, making stupid remarks or sexual innuendoes out of thin air. “That’s what she said” is a common quip for her when she’s screwing around. She tries to be funny, but oftentimes her jokes are not. Despite her demeanor, Katrina is slow to trust. She has had a rather dark past, and has often been hurt. She is one to bear a grudge, and can forgive, but does not forget.

Katrina and Raphael are engaged. Katrina loves him very much, but oftentimes she has trouble telling him how she truly feels. She feels that he is such a fantastic lover and that she can never measure up to what he does for her. She cannot take a bullet for him and doesn’t have the savviness to know what gifts to buy him that will make him know that she loves him. Often times she feels simply like she’s not good enough for him.

Hobbies/Interests: Katrina loves being out in nature. She spends a lot of time outside in the mansion garden, and is its unofficial caretaker. 90% of her time at the mansion she’s out there doing something. She’s a total botany nerd, knowing all of the names of the plants and their scientific names. Like Raphael, Katrina plays guitar. She loves singing and dancing as well. Katrina danced from the time she was seven to the time she was twenty.
Skills/Talents: Katrina is flexible due to her dancing background, and is very agile, though not Raphael agile. She is an amazing singer and a skilled dancer. Her guitar skills are lackluster, as Raphael just recently started teaching her. She is a good cook, and will occasionally make her favorite New Orleans recipes for dinner some nights (gumbo, shrimp etouffe, fried green tomatoes, etc). She took french classes in high school, and while she is not fluent in the language, knows enough to navigate. She speaks some Creole as well, as she used to use it back in NOLA.

History/Bio: Katrina was born in New Orleans. She grew up there, heiress of the CEO of Harrah’s Casino, a millionaire. She had it all; a massive mansion just outside of the city, a loving family, and more money than she could ever know what to do with. Everything changed in 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit. Katrina’s family was able to evacuate before the storm hit, but their house was obliterated. And what’s more, the insurance company cheated them out of every penny. The casino, of course, was ravaged, and her father was out of a job. Her family lost everything, and so they moved away to Aurum. It was roughest on Katrina, who became chronically depressed and had no friends. She stopped calling herself Katrina for a while, instead opting for the name “Leah”. Until she was sixteen, she would only call herself that. Then the Aurum Event happened. Katrina’s powers manifested, and she laughed. Of course the girl whose life had been destroyed by a hurricane had the power to control the weather. She didn’t use her power, as she was afriad of it, though she called herself Katrina again.
Despite the dome, Katrina’s life didn’t really change much. She still lived with her family, and went to college at Aurum University, where she met Raphael. Katrina was a biology major. Raphael was in the college’s law school. The two met when Katrina was twenty, and Raphael 22. About a year into the relationship, Raphael had told Katrina that he loved her, but she had yet to return it. Then, one night, the ACPD attacked as part of Operation Terrier. They busted the windows out of Katrina’s house, and beat her father mercilessly while she watched. They beat her up as well, and attempted to rape her when two guardian angels came to her rescue, Shaun and Raphael. That night was the first time Katrina used her powers for something serious. With Shaun’s encouragement, she whipped up a mighty hurricane that destroyed the block and sent police cars flying. Raphael took three bullets for her, and she realized then how much he really loved her. She didn’t know he could heal from them, of course, and neither did he, considering that it took a much longer time for the wounds to heal since they were radiation bullets. The three of them together formed the SAM on the property of Aurum University, and ever since they’ve been campaigning for meta rights.

Abilities

Power: Weather manipulation. Katrina has the almighty power to control the weather. She can create storms, whisk away cloudy days, drop lightning bolts from the sky; the usual. She is skilled at creating miniature storms, like four-foot tall tornadoes or six-foot-wide hurricanes that she uses in combat to attack foes. Her tornado winds blow at nearly 300 mph, and her hurricanes generate winds of up to 200 mph and blow driving rain at her enemies. She can freeze this rain into sleet or hail, as well as create a white out blizzard. Katrina can create big weather as well as small weather, though she prefers the mini wind storms because they’re easier to control. Since it grants her the control of wind, her powers give her the ability to fly. She can do so very quickly, reaching a top speed of 100 mph.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Well firstly, Katrina isn’t immune to her own weather. If she created a massive storm of death with 9001 mph winds and lightning everywhere (she’s not strong enough to do that but still) she’d be blown to pieces by the wind too. Secondly, in order to create storms (though she can control wind differently), Katrina needs to swirl her hands in a circular motion. restraining her hands would prevent her from using her most potent power. The bigger a storm gets, the harder it is for her to control it. So, while she can easily control mini hurricanes or small rain showers, a massive storm would probably go out of control and sweep across the entire city.

Physical Appearance: Not exactly a powerhouse. Hector is tall, lanky, thin. Not exactly strong and powerful as his brother, Samson. But Hector has his own brand of looks. In terms of facial features, he's quite different from him. His features are more streamlined, and less pronounced, but he's still quite attractive. Hector's head is pear-shaped, and is medium sized. His chin and jawline are very sharp, large and pronounced. His nose is large, he has a thick nose-bridge, and has wider nostrils than what would seem to be attractive. Hector's lips are thick, puffy, and full. His eyes are medium sized, brown, and are quite good looking for a boy. Usually he has a narrow, sharp look in his eyes, almost like he's disgusted or battlescarred. The rest of Hector's body is fair. He's really skinny and thin for someone that's tall. However, he's a bit muscular, just nothing spectacular. There's plenty of muscles in his legs implying that he's a guy that does plenty of running. Which is true. Hector's skin is coated in several bruises and scars, several of which imply years of abuse. Most notably, there's a massive burn scar on his arm, one that starts below his elbow, and stops a few inches away from his wrist. Hector's hair is a dark black color, and is styled in dreadlocks.

Attire: Hector dresses causally when not on missions. He'll wear just about anything as long as it matches. Though, he's seen wearing superhero shirts of some sort. When out on a mission, he suits up in his "costume". Which consists of goggles, a black trenchcoat, combat boots, and anything black underneath it.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Not really a people's person, at least not anymore. Hector is troubled, and has many confidence issues. He just feels as if he's a screw up and a failure in general. He looks up to Samson, and the others and wonders why he can't be like them. Hector has these opinions for a reason. Years of abuse, on top of the incident he incited that got people killed, have caused him immense amounts of self-doubt and guilt. It really inhibits his abilities to act independently, as he needs someone to hold his hand in order for him to do the right thing. However, Hector certainly won't be openingly angsting about this anytime soon. Usually he keeps his mouth closed, and tries to appear as emotionally impenetrable as his brother, Samson. Despite this, Hector is polite in conversations, and treats the other members of SAM politely. Hector sees the fight against the Skulls as redemption for his previous crimes. He believes that defeating them will carve a way for him to put his past behind him and start anew.

Skills/Talents: Hector is experienced in playing soccer, and could have gone pro if he hadn't join the SAM. He's fast, has killer reflexes, and is quick on his feet. He's also done plenty of climbing. Trees, fences, you name it. Hector knows his way around a knife or two, and as a hobby, he learned how to throw knives. A hobby turned useful.

Abilities


Power: Energy Crystals. Hector can manipulate dark blue crystals out of his body. He's capable of the usual elemental techniques with these crystals - Move them, shape them, control their growth, destroy them, etc. These crystals are nearly hard as diamonds, and are quite. A technique that Hector does is coat his limbs in these crystals for defense, at the cost of physical mobility. He can also reduce these crystals to a powder. Now, these crystals have a very special property attached to them: energy absorption. The crystals can draw in and absorb all types of energy (Kinetic, Heat, Electrical, Radiation, Sonic, and so on) from the surrounding around and release it in a weaponized form. The bigger the crystal, the more energy can be stored in the crystal.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Hector is an energy magnet, as in energy is naturally drawn to him. Meaning that energy will be subtly attracted to him when he's around. Having a higher risk of being hit by a bolt of lightning or a wild fire spreading towards him. Say if someone throws a book in his general direction it will curb towards him and whack him. If a building was on fire and he walked by then the fire will spread towards him. You get the picture. He also gets hit much harder by physical attacks. It makes it difficult for him to dodge attacks. He's not immune to energy in any way, so this can be a problem. Each individual crystal can only absorb one kind of energy at a time, any other energy comes in contact with the crystal will damage it. Hector's crystals, while hard, are brittle, and can shatter under certain damage. There's also a set amount of energy each crystal can absorb, like it's been mentioned before, depending on the size of the crystal. If more energy is absorbed than the crystal can take; the crystal will explode, releasing the energy it had stored, and sending crystal shards flying.

Appearance

Ethnicity: Jonathan is of Irish and German descent but is an American.

Physical Appearance: Lieutenant Cain is a tall, muscular man due to his heavy and strict exercise regiment and diet needed to keep him fit and able to fight. Jon's light brown usually straight hair is kept short and clean shaven, and facial hair other than this is completely absent. He is a rather handsome man - he has a cleated chin, with somewhat high cheekbones, a slightly defined jawline, and medium sized ears and a medium size nose. His face's structure is fairly rounded, and he has thin, pink lips that are rarely chapped. What disrupts this attractiveness are his scars, of which he has countless, ranging in size. The most prominent of these is a large, jagged mark running down from the right side of his forehead, past his eyes and nose, and curving towards the right edge of his lips. The scar is bright red in appearance and stands out against his pale white skin. Many other parts of his body, mostly his chest, are marked with very noticeable scars.

Attire: Jon wears a variety of attire, depending on the situation. In combat he will wear his ACPD armor. Due to his rank, the shoulders of this are colored gold, and his rank of Lieutenant is marked upon the top of the chest armoring in gold lettering. Occasionally he wears an ACPD combat exoskeleton but he will not be walking around with this on. When not in combat, he will either wear his formal Lieutenant uniform or his usual casual attire. This ranges from either jeans or khakis, always looking to be they had never been ironed, and either a plain t-shirt of slightly varying colors or a plaid collared shirt - it depends. When working out he wears athletic shorts and a shirt, as well as black Asics shoes.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Jon's outward personality can vary based upon who he is interacting with - He is a very pragmatic person. To his friends and superiors, he is a polite and kind man, though with a sarcastic edge that he acknowledges and tries to make humorous.To civilians he is known to be helpful but strict, wanting greatly to protect them against the metas. Jon acts with personal hatred and dislike towards meta humans. Though he does not choose to dehumanize them, knowing that they are still people even after their metamorphosis, but he knows that they can and will abuse their abilities and due to that they should be treated as a threat to peace and humanity as a whole. Throughout all these groups, however, Jonathan is known for his unrelenting ruthlessness. He is willing to do no matter what it takes to complete a task, and believe that the ends always justify the means. Lieutenant Cain also believes in the merits of revenge - should someone hurt a friend or himself, he will pursue them. Jon is also a perfectionist, unforgiving of his own mistakes and harping upon those of others. When in social situations, he is usually laidback and attentive, though if he focuses on something he will dismiss anything else as insignificant.
Jon is a very intelligent person in general, but in particular with tactics and weaponry. Jonathan is highly trained in many types of weapons and martial arts, and enjoys studying strategies. He does not enjoy being flashy with his combat, instead preferring pure effectiveness and efficiency despite how it looks. In combat situations he is very focused as well, taking in every detail and considering every variable, as he knows that if he overlooks one thing, it can mean death.
Jon is also known to be very cynical, and has a tendency to look up optimism in some situations as foolish. In addition, he takes pride in very little - he is not arrogant. Though he is instead a selfless person, and believes that by being a part of the ACPD he is helping to protect humanity. Like stated before, he harbors a personal, strong dislike for metas due to personal experience that he prefers to keep secret. While he is beginning to loosen up in regards to the SAMs, he finds that the actions of the Skulls are unforgivable.

Hobbies/Interests: Jonathan, for starters, has developed what is almost an obsession with altering and tweaking his weaponry. Even when not in uniform he will carry around an attachment such as a scope or a barrel and adjust it, sometimes absentmindedly. He also enjoys sparring with other ACPD officers and agents, and exercising seems to be a personal pastime of his. When he is not doing these or fulfilling the duties of his position, he can be found playing cards or reading - his favorite book is The Art of War by Sun Tzu. Occasionally he will have a drink or a smoke, though he knows this can be detrimental to his health. Rarely he will play a videogame, but when he does he is known to be very skilled.

Skills/Talents: Lieutenant Cain renowned for his combat skills. He is at least proficient in the use of almost every type of firearm, and is a very advanced user of pistols and assault rifles. He's also known for his marksmanship with these weapons, though his personal adjustments to his weapons may bias this. He is skilled in several types of martial arts as well as with using a combat knife. He also has a knack for tactics and strategy, and is able to use a variety of equipment in combat. Jon is also known to be very adaptable to changing situations, and this may be considered a talent by some - to quickly analyze a situation and adjust your approach to it rapidly. He is also very capable at survival skills such as first aid, tying knots, etc.

Prized Possession: His heavily modified assault rifle, which he nicknamed Cerberus (yes, it still fires the radiation bullets). Lieutenant Cain uses this weapon whenever he can.

Abilities

Power: None, Jon is a human. However, his weapons would fall under this category. Jonathan almost always uses his heavily modified H&K G36 carbine rifle, which he nicknamed Cerberus. He also carries a P226 Sig Sauer Elite pistol, also modified, and a standard combat knife. He carries multiple attachments for both weapons as well as spare ammunition (they both use cosmic radiation bullets). He has other weapons in his possession, but doesn't usually carry them, as he's not a walking armory.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: He's a human.

Other: Cain drives in a police patrol car, which is a Dodge Charger Police Cruiser. It is slightly modified for use his, however.

Jane is both taller and more muscular than most women and has the build of a Parkour Junkie. Her hair is almost perpetually tied in a fairly loose bun which keeps it out of her face while she's taking out enemy threats. Basically she looks entirely utilitarian and combat oriented.

Attire: If it's warm out, she wears work-out shirts and cargo shorts, if it's cooler she wears cargo pants, a sweater of some kind and a slightly baggy black mens leather bomber jacket.

Outward & Innate Personality: Jane doesn't really do... people. Weapons, yes, terrorist plots, anytime, anywhere, but people? Blah. She'd rather go shoot something. She only enjoys talking to people with a purpose. The second you start blabbing about feelings or fashion or frivolous fru-fru crap she leaves the area post haste. If however, you're trying to pick a fight or want to compare gun collections or maybe discuss how to best kill metas, non metas and random bystanders, she's all ears. Nilez suffers from asthma and has a hyperactive metabolism as well as hypoglycemia meaning that she's constantly hungry, has stunted growth and is rail thin despite eating like a half starved lumberjack. She's fairly strong for her size mostly because she's got the energy levels of a hummingbird and is constantly running this way and that and seems to have the inability to hold still. She has pale skin which is covered by so many freckles it looks like she has a healthy (albeit blotchy) orangish tan from a distance.
Attire: Nilez typically wears pop-culture reference T-shirts and skinny jeans which look like regular jeans on her and a slightly beat up denim backpack with what looks like a radio and stereo system built into the back.

Outward & Innate personality: Eh... I'll do this IC side.

Hobbies/Interests: Art, fencing, gymnastics, track, flute, science, specifically pertaining to quantum physics and cosmic radiation.

Skills/Talents: Because of her small size Nilez is good at track and can run a lot faster than most of her peers. She's decently good at fencing and specializes in Saber. She's pretty good at gymnastics and flute but spends more time studying quantum physics than practicing either of those activities resulting in them being perpetually rusty. Her art is okay, but it's very 'modern' and contains a lot of weird colors and figures that are a result of her Synesthesia which only really sets in when everything starts getting to loud or when her blood sugar levels drop.

Prized possession(s): Her flute and her radio/speaker backpack.

History/bio: Long and boring stuff that no one cares about. Including me.

Abilities

Power: Nilez can and always has been able to hear radio transmissions as long as she's within the range that an electronic detector would be able to sense them. She can also interfere with them and act as a transmitter, meaning she can mentally change or deactivate the radio stations you love most, or do a karaoke voice over, both of which are to be equally feared as one of the side effects of having a bad case of asthma as a baby is a scratchy voice. In all seriousness though, if you choose to attack Nilez, radio waves are only a little bit below microwaves on the electromagnetic scale and if she's sufficiently panicked (as is life or death) you may end up having your skin start to blister and any fluid filled sacks in your body expand and pop if you stand close enough (3-6 feet, the more panicked she gets, the larger the radius) for long enough and don't take a hint from the horrible sunburn spreading across your body or the glowing yellow light being emitted by the person you're attacking (ie after something to the effect of 15 minutes your eyes will be in danger of doing what grapes do when you put them in the microwave.)

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: The downside of being a radio head is the inability to turn the power off. Meaning, every second of every day of every year Nilez is forced to listen to a cacophony of everything being transmitted using radio waves all at once while also having to listen primarily to the people and environment around her. As a result if she's in a location where the number of radio broadcasts going on is too high she's basically rendered def until she either leaves the area or the broadcasts stop. It also means that all those shady or less tasteful radio stations and songs out there, have been playing in the back of her head since she turned 4. Another disadvantage is the fact that being able to transmit radio waves does not mean she can generate audible sound. That is why she always walks around with a small radio with really loud speaker attachments. Another noteworthy drawback is that if she ever does get panicked enough to be able to generate microwaves, let alone powerful ones, she's the one generating them and as such suffers burns and sanguineous vesicles all over her body gradating in number and severity dependent upon how powerful the microwave blast was. If it was enough to kill someone, Nilez will likely suffer 3rd degree burns at the minimum.

Physical Appearance: Charles is a muscular military-type guy. He looks like he’s designed for combat, with a stocky, thick build and big shoulders. His skin is a medium brown, and his hair is black. Charles’ hair is very long, coming down to the small of his back, and is tied into a loose dreadlock ponytail (I think there’s another name for this, but I don’t know it). His face is long and gaunt, with a pointy-looking chin and high cheekbones. He has a long narrow nose and a clean-shaven face (though when he’s off-duty he likes to grow a beard out). He has a wide mouth that is normally kept in a straight, monotonous line. He looks relatively expressionless. Charles has a long neck and rounded ears that stick out on the sides of his head. He has close-set chocolate brown eyes and mid-width eyebrows that seem to be raised often, as if he’s skeptical of everything.

Attire: When on the job, Charles wears either his ACPD armor/riot gear (with helmet) or a black suit. The armor is completely black, without any marks that normal officers have. The suit is simply black with a white button-down dress shirt, and a black tie. His sidearm is at his side at all times. He wears a silver Rolex watch on his right hand when not wearing armor.

Hobbies/Interests: Charles is pretty much married to his job, so he doesn’t get much free time. When he does, he likes to go to the driving range or the golf course. He likes golf a lot, as it is a great destresser. He goes to the shooting range occasionally and works out a lot to hone his skills in combat. Charles read a lot, mainly news, but he will occasionally enjoy a Tom Clancy classic.

Skills/Talents: Charles is pretty accurate with a gun from mid-range, and can act as a marksman, but is no sniper. He is more of an up-close threat, being extremely adept in hand-to-hand combat and very skilled with a knife or melee weapon. He can kick any cop in Aurum’s ass in a fist fight. He speaks French and some Kinyarwanda, his native language, though he remembers very little of it.

Hair Color: dirty blonde, bordering on brown.
Eye Color: Well one eye is cobalt blue. The other eye is, well, missing. Archer is a recipient of Metal Gear Syndrome, meaning that he only has one eye. The eyepatch is black (do eyepatches come in any other colors?)
Ethnicity: Jewish/German/Italian/Greek. Basically, from Brooklyn.
Physical Appearance: Archer is not the most muscular of the Skulls. He is skinny as a rail, with skin stretched tightly over his bones. His skin is paler than the other Skulls’. His skin has a slight olive complexion to it (though he is definitely not Greek). He has very long, skinny arms and long bony fingers. Archer has the most tattoos of any of the Big Five. He has a sugar skull on his left breast (all of them got this at the beginning). On his right shoulder is a tattoo of a dagger going through a skull. Under it, in script, it says “In Memory of Damien “Scar” Sparks, 1998-2023”. On the front of his right bicep, there is a tattoo of a blue Star of David, which says “J103248” in the middle of it, the number the Nazis gave his grandfather. On the left side of his upper back is a tattoo of a strung bow with a burning arrow in it, and on the right side is a white skull with an arrow through its head. Under the skull, in black script, it says “One Shot, One Kill”, the Army Sniper’s motto. On his left shoulder, near the top, is the symbol of the Roman Legion; an eagle with its wings spread over the letters SPQR (he got it for his great-grandfather). On the right side of Archer’s lower back, close to his waistline, is a pair of scars, received from bullets during Operation Terrier (he lost his eye in that too). Archer’s right side is covered in glass scars from being hit by a bottle during a fight a while back. They are beginning to fade, but they’re going nowhere fast. Archer has a Jewish nose and a wide mouth that is normally in an arrogant grin. The most obvious feature of Archer’s face is the eyepatch over his left eye. The other eye is roughly almond-shaped and is a cobalt blue. He has large ears that stick out from his hair, adding to the Jewish appearance. His hair is his best feature, being long and slicked back like a fifty’s biker. He always keeps his hair in tip-top shape, and carries a comb around him in his pocket (he also takes a little of Grease’s hair gel when she isn’t looking).

Attire: Archer dresses like he fell out of the movie Grease. He normally wears a white tee shirt with blue jeans and his Skulls leather jacket. Like the others, the jacket has the Sugar Skull on the back. Archer’s has a patch on the right shoulder with a dagger on it (the old symbol of Scar), and on the left shoulder is a circular patch with a lightning bolt on it. Under the bolt, is says “one shot, one kill”. On the lapels and epaulettes of the jacket are studs. On his feet are a pair of black Harley Davidson steel toe Gripfast boots. Archer always carries a lighter in one of the inside pockets of the jacket, right next to a pack of Marlboro cigarettes. Also in a sheath built into the lining of the jacket is a combat knife. He wears fingerless leather gloves on his hands.

This isn’t really appearance, but Archer speaks with what sounds like a Brooklyn accent (though he’s never lived in Brooklyn).


Personality

Outward & Innate Personality: Archer is arrogant, witty, and usually pissed off, three things that make him an ideal biker. He sounds like a street kid, swearing constantly and threatening violence like it’s no big deal. When somebody needs to get beaten up, it’s usually Archer who does it. He can be extremely brutal towards enemies, especially those who disrespect or insult him or his friends. Archer acts like he’s entitled to respect by all. You cut the Robin Daniels in line? How DARE you! Why, he oughta take you out back and remove your molars with a pipe wrench! You do not talk to Robin Daniels like that, motherfucker!” Because of his extreme arrogance and pride, Archer gets in the most fights out of all the Skulls. He’s known to be an extremely dirty fighter, often taking low blows and using weapons like pipes and tools to beat the living f*ck out of whoever pisses him off. He’s the stereotypical badboy, walking through doors that say “do not enter” and sending the shattered fragments of broken hearts spraying out the tailpipe of his motorcycle. Most of Archer’s actions, however, aren’t him actually being a jerkass, but him showing off to the other Big Five. He knows he’s pretty inferior to them, and so makes himself a reputation for being a badass so as to make himself appear as if he’s just as bad as the other four. Deep down inside, Archer’s not that bad a guy. He always keeps a promise, no matter what the cost, and he is incredibly loyal to his friends. He’s take a bullet for any of them any day of the week.

Hobbies/Interests: Archer loves anything car-related. He spends almost all of his time either out cruising or in the King Street hideout’s garage, fixing cars. His other hobbies include smoking, drinking, racing, spray painting cop cars with Grease, graffiti, running from the police, kicking ass, taking names, and playing the drums loudly at 2 am. He listens to a ton of super old music like Elvis, Buddy Holly and the Crickets, the Beatles, and Chuck Berry. He’ll take a bluesy guitar solo over a death metal song any day.

Skills/Talents: Archer is the best mechanic in the Skulls. Trained by his father (who ran a business restoring classic cars in Ft.Braxton before the Aurum Event), Archer knows how to do pretty much everything car-related. If your car/motorcycle has a problem, he’ll know what it is and how to fix it. He makes some decent money off of it too (as car parts don’t exactly come cheap and he doesn’t trust/use 3D printers). We’ll let Archer pretend he’s the best fighter in the Skulls, but he’s nowhere close. Any hand-to-hand combat Archer has, he learned on the streets. Unlike several other members, he has no formal training. If it weren’t for his power, Archer would get his ass kicked a lot.

Abilities

Power: Electricity manipulation/creation: Archer has the power to create and utilize electrical energy. He can use this to power electronic devices, but can also use it as a weapon, releasing extremely powerful electric blasts. The voltage and amperage of his blasts can be controlled by him, allowing him to directly control the force and damage of his strikes. Lightning moves at light speed (obviously) and is extremely hot, so he can deal out quite a bit of damage. When Archer fires electricity, a loud boom like thunder echoes through the air. The larger the bolt, the louder the sound. The electricity changes in color with his mood. He can conduct his lightning through metal, causing sparking effects similar to putting a ball of tinfoil in the microwave. He uses this to make weapons extra deadly. This is the reasoning for the studs on his jacket, as he can use them to set off crackling displays. Archer is immune to electricity. You could strap him in an electric chair and he’d ask where his martini was. Archer has a ton of control over his electricity, thus why he doesn’t singe his clothes off whenever he uses it.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Namely, rubber, or other insulators. If an opponent is wearing insulated clothing, Archer is useless against them. Water can also thwart Archer, but in a different way. Normally, water is useful for Archer, as enemies standing in it get fried extra-crispy, but if he himself is standing in or is covered in water, he runs the risk of frying himself (he cannot be shocked by electricity, but if the water on him gets hot enough, it could badly burn him all over).

Other: Archer is a lover of classic cars and motorcycles. He drives a 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback convertible that changes colors whenever Archer gets bored. Archer has a motorcycle as well; a gold 1955 Harley Davidson Sportster. He’d love to get his hands on a 1958 T-bird, but that’s a little out of his league, price-wise.

Appearance

Hair Color: Sal is entirely bald.
Eye Color: Sal's eyes are entirely black. I don't know if this is super accurate for actual hellbenders.

Physical Appearance:

Sal is big.

At full height, he's damned closer to 9 feet tall than any other human has ever been, and he's probably in Goliath's weight class. Sal is still vaguely humanoid when standing upright, having a torso and even a faint mark of a belly button (although it appears to be...sealing over...). Assuming he's completely naked (normally he wears a loin cloth of some sort), Sal has male genitalia, albeit it, along with his belly button and the color in his eyes, seems to be receding rapidly. Sal's "skin", scales covered with some kind of slimy fluid his body constantly exudes, is a murky brown-orange that makes him nigh invisible in deeper waters. His arms and legs are also quite thick: every inch of Sal's frame is taut with muscle; he is visibly the strongest person in Aurum-if you were to call him a person at this point. Sal's mouth and jaw have extended outwards as his head has flattened with his transformation, his nose and face broadening outwards. He is entirely unrecognizable as the man once known as Salazar Benicio; now, he just looks like some freakish thing that crawled up out of Aurum's sewers. He has a long, thick tail, which isn't prehensile, but nonetheless powerful. It tends to drag along the ground if he walks upright, helping his massive frame balance more easily, but comes up a little off the ground when he walks on all fours. Sal's hands have rough nubs of thumbs, but these seem to be degrading away, and his feet have already fully morphed into four-toed salamander feet. Sal's attire-well, let's just say he's not getting into any clothing stores anymore. Sal has a crude loincloth that keeps what little of his genitalia remains covered, but doesn't bother with much else. He doesn't seem to care any more.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality:

Sal was a good person once. Then the Aurum Event struck. Over the last ten years, the radiation in Sal's body has slowly been getting the best of him: whereas others have developed cancers from the radiation, Sal's power is cancerous at the genetic level. It continually overwrites Sal's natural attempts at DNA transcription and accelerates his mental aging. At this point, Sal's degradation is picking up more rapidly: he suffers from short and long term memory loss, has difficulty with speech at times, and seems to be losing intellectual nuances; his agenda has devolved into merely basic functionings. Sal's sexuality also seemed to go a long time ago, which is good, because he brings a bit of baggage to a relationship. Sal's primary interest at this point seems to be the sewers: he comes aboveground to ravage police officers every now and then, but mostly stays in the dark and quiet, spawning numerous Aurum City urban legends (some are convinced the Skulls do not actually have a giant lizardman as one of their number, but rather claim they do to bolster their status). Sal retains a furious hatred for police officers, and is very easily lured into traps if they are the bait: however, there has yet to be a trap that could even slow him down, and a great many ACPD found themselves in Sal's belly. He eats people, but I won't say he's cannibalistic, because you could make a very strong case he's no longer human.

Hobbies/Interests:
Lie in the cold and the dark. Devour anything in that comes into the sewers. Kill police officers. Sal's lost the mental aptitude for many other hobbies. He also spends a lot of time trying to remember things. The insides of the sewers are littered with messages to himself that he's carved into the walls: he has, however, forgotten that he has written some of these, and is convinced that some supernatural force is guiding him through the messages.

Skills/Talents:
These seem pretty self-explanatory.


Prized Possession:

Sal, in a very transcendental, enlightened way, has disregarded all physical possessions.

History/Bio:

Hell, even he doesn't remember.

Power:

First off, Sal's size and physical ability. I'm gonna go ahead and put Sal as the straight-up strongest character in the RP (Raphael perhaps comes close), given his sheer muscle mass and power. He's capable of unbelievable feats of strength and seems eerily unaware of how much damage he is inflicting to himself in the process. Sal also possesses a few beneficial traits, courtesy of the hellbender salamander. Firstly, he respirates through his skin-which is covered in a strange slime. This slime helps keep Sal moist and breathing more efficiently, and is also very resistant to flame (notice a motif here?). This slime is, believe it or not, quite slippery, and can make landing physical blows on Sal very difficult, but if you're trying to punch Sal, you didn't really stand much of a chance anyways. Additionally, Sal possesses the regenerative properties of hellbenders. Given enough time and nutrition, Sal is capable of healing from any wound, however, this does take time and nutrition. The process is accelerated by being submerged entirely in water, which is Sal's natural habitat. Sal is an excellent swimmer, can breathe underwater, and see and smell more clearly in the water/dark.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks:

Bullet point form, just for the sake of being fast.
-Cold-blooded. Sal will grow sluggish and weaker in the cold.
-Reliance upon water. Outside of water, especially in sunlight, Sal's slime will either be depleted or he will dehydrate himself trying to replenish it. Either way, Sal needs to be in the water periodically to stay in optimal fighting condition (he has difficulty breathing without the slime and also feels uncomfortable on land)
-Sal's power is rapidly taking over his more complex brain functions. The other Skulls think of him as a mindless brute; they don't realize how right they are. He's beginning to lose his functionality with the English language, and will probably lose sentience altogether before this ordeal is over.
-Sal's sheer weight and size requires a lot of caloric intake. If he's not down in the sewers, conserving energy and slowing his metabolism, he needs to be eating more or less constantly to fuel the hundreds of pounds of muscle he has.
-Aside from the sewers, it is literally impossible for him to sneak anywhere.
-The police have orders to shoot on sight/call in reinforcements; he's also vilified by most of Aurum's population, given his murderous tendencies, and so most locals will call in the ACPD as soon as they see him.

Other: Sal's metamorphosis is really quite sad.

Appearance

Ethnicity: Sudan, Egyptian and Arabian (and obviously some hints of Caucasian in there somewhere) heritage gives her skin a rich and dark brown hue.
Physical Appearance: Mia is stocky and well built. While not having an exceptionally athletic build, her muscles are thick enough to accentuate her modest curvature.  She is strong without working out, and it shows through her physique. As implied above, she is not impressively tall, nor is she short enough to give a weak or vulnerable vibe. Her skin is mostly clear of blemishes, save for the obvious scar on her face. And as for her face, it is particularly pronounced and gives the impression of an independent woman. Her jawline is strong and symmetrical and meets up at a pointed, yet squared off chin. This feature is accentuated by thin cheeks and sharp cheek bones, and lips several shades lighter - a trait hidden by dark makeup that is applied to her lips, a gentle black that doesn't shine or gloss under light, nor sticks out like a sore thumb on her brown face. Her nose is also sharp. It's length isn't pronounced, and appears proportionate to her face, though her bridge is thick. Given these sharp features and fierce, striking appearance, her eyes are an alarming contrast. Her left eye is nearly stark white. With a milky cornea and cataract-afflicted pupil, her eye is totally blind. Her right eye is covered by a scar that goes down to the top of her cheek. The same ugly scar rips through the center of her eye, making her blind in that eye as well. Her face alone is an unnerving combination of beauty and danger, despite her disability.

Her black hair is usually well-managed and clean (meaning very little oil, if any), often done up in a comb-over updo of a mohawk, generally done with very little product. Given how it's easy to do, where the hair doesn't bother her face, and supposedly looks good and isn't impractically long, Mia found it to be well suited for her. She has a soldierly posture: her head held high, firm soldiers, straight back, and a heavy footstep. It suggests she knows discipline, a factor that likely sculpted her in her early childhood. Her abdomen is ripe with muscle, but lacks the proper toning to show anything of a six pack. She carries c-cup breasts that are never flaunted. Her legs are strong and have only a few scars from minor injuries such as scraping a shin or knee by accident. Her feet can be considered large, and is fortunately unaffected by dreaded bunions. She has a few piercings. One is a half-ring septum piercing and three small loops on her left ear's upper lobe. They are all made of brass.

Attire: Given her lack of sight, Mia has a pretty weak sense of fashion. Fortunately, she already had a wardrobe before she lost her sight. At the bare minimum of clothes, she always wears a sports bra and men's boxer briefs, thinking they're more comfortable than other under garments. Over that, a plain, thin, white shirt is worn over her torso, and she dons a pair of Lee's boot-cut jeans. Over her white tee, she tends to wear a fleece flannel shirt, due to the comfort and warmth it provides (she remembers her favorite one having a yellow and black color scheme but can't really tell which is which anymore). Should the weather get any worse than that, she has an old brown leather jacket she got from her husband when they were younger. She tends to wear this pair of unstylish work boots because they're comfy and firm and she has no clue how ugly they actually are.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Spiteful, contemptuous, driven; strangers often characterize her as enigmatic and scornful. She reveals nothing and manages most people with disdain. This disdain, however, is mysteriously sourced and gives the impression it stands as preexisting stress and is redirected towards whomever spoke to her. Other times, she simply ignores them or gives them the silent treatment. On any other occasion, she simply shares short, brief words and returns to her thoughts. She lacks the arrogance or overconfidence of many meta humans in Aurum, however, pegs others as fools. She bides and listens, and she isn't one to put her trust into another very lightly. Morever, Mia is incredibly driven. She doesn't let on to others what her reasons might be, but she moves forward with such inspiring conviction despite the obstacles set before her.

She had a good deal of morals before, and though her attitude and outlook took a major turn for the worse, they still stick with her to some degree. While no longer being interested in politics, she'd still be more prone to vote liberal. While no longer concerned about most peoples' welfare, she'd beat the crap out of a rapist. And while hurt feelings no longer bother her, she'd still make a sexist or racist person buckle over and plant her foot on them. She has morals - they've just become become much looser than they were before.

Despite her feelings for most other people, she actually treats them with apathy more than she does in deliberately rude gestures or words. This gives her an unmatched degree of bluntness and ability to speak her mind without caring who is listening or how they may react or feel according to her words. Before the accident, she was deeply in love and was incredibly faithful and protective of her spouse. To some extent, this may hold true even now should she ever find a sense of belonging. Even if she does though, she reassures herself that there isn't any point in trusting anybody with her story. Her story is no one's business and she does not intend on "opening up" or getting "touchy feely" with anybody. However, her energy is drained and she finds herself in an incredibly vulnerable position, despite her greatest efforts to appear strong. While Mia still able to maintain the facade of strength and durability, there's little she can do to escape the sense of the downward spiral towards emotional breakdown.

Hobbies/Interests: She has lost interest in many of her hobbies when she fell victim to complete blindness. She can no longer paint or fiddle with cars or smaller gadgets. The only thing she feels she knows how to do anymore is to play guitar and she completely destroyed hers. All she really bothers to do anymore is to listen to music (of a very wide variety) and brush her teeth until her gums bleed.

Skills/Talents: Before her blindness, she was good with cars and engines and whatnot, and if you were to quiz her on it, she'd probably answer your questions and answer all the questions you didn't ask. She also used to paint, and was actually pretty good at it, but never bothered to sell her pieces. Her room is full of half-done canvases that she'll never be able to finish. She can play an acoustic guitar, though not exceptionally. She has recently been spending a fair amount of time taking martial arts courses at a small, nameless dojo.

History/Bio: The layout is simple: Mia had a pretty good life until her twenties. She was happy as a little girl. Got attention from her parents, and was pushed into more boyish activities by her father, who had wanted a boy. As naive as Mia was, this didn't really bother her very much and led a pretty normal life. She had a fair amount of friends from elementary and throughout high, was adept at taking apart her dad's truck and putting it back together, was persuaded by her mother to take up painting (and much to Mia's surprise, she enjoyed it). When she got into high school, Mia was fairly pretty enough to grab the attention of a couple boys and tough enough to keep them in line. At sixteen, she met a white boy named Roy,and started off as friends before she discovered she liked him halfway through the year. A lot. Taking him to meet the folks was a bit odd, since interracial relationships was a bit iffy to her parents, but she went ahead and scoffed at their conservative beliefs. It turns out that the two fit together like puzzle pieces. The two crucial pieces of a complex game where each individual piece of the map had to be worked around the two.

There was little to stop the two young and starstruck lovers from planning out their future. As fate would have it though, James Grey's explosion blew up a portion of a city and flooded her and her parents' townhouse in Aurum Heights. Roy was "lucky" enough to live in West Rail further away from the blast. To make matters worse, Mai's parents happened to be out of town visiting relatives when the cosmic energy dome encapsulated Aurum, leaving Mia alone. When Roy checked on her, she was brought to the hospital. There it was discovered that she suffered irreparable damage to her ovaries and one of her kidneys. She would be able to live happily with only one kidney as long as she didn't drink, but any chance of bearing a child was gone. Having kids was never really something they thought about anyways, and that news wouldn't bother them until their later years when they realized what it actually meant, but until then, Roy and his family offered to help Mia out and take her in.

When the news let out that the dome couldn't let people in, Mia earned the right to her parents townhouse and sold it, being unable to keep up with its mortgage as a student. It was only when Mia and Roy were nineteen did they decide to move out. They were done with school and they rented out a small apartment on the border of West Rail for just the two of them. Mia worked at a garage and Roy worked kitchen jobs. Even with their small incomes together, they couldn't afford college for even one of them, but they decided to just save their money and be happy with what they had. It was by that time did her powers finally manifest. It started off as a huge freak out when they discovered her absurd strength after she knocked over the refrigerator just by closing the door. She was scared out of her wits that Roy might abandon her, but to her relief, he remained and they agreed never to let anyone else in on her secret. They finally married when they were twenty years old.

The following two years were fine. They excelled at their jobs, they got hobbies, they biked around town (Mia always being a couple lengths in front of Roy), and all seemed fine. Mia was beginning to master her ability and learn how to limit how much of her strength she used. At some point during the second year though, the system fell apart. Mia must have made a wrong stop or bought groceries at the wrong store - something must have been a front or connection that made the ACPD crack down and target Mia, who believed her to have ties with the Skulls. That new meta-human gang running about causing trouble. They had to have been pretty scared to target someone without any solid ground. Regardless of their reasons, they interrogated Mia. They asked her all sorts of questions - about the Skulls, about her powers - having no connection with the Skulls, she denied any knowledge of them or their intents. Having promised to keep her status as a meta-human a secret, she denied any claim to power as well. They didn't believe her. They suspected her of lying and deceit and was promptly subjected her to torture. Most of their methods had limited or no scarring, but another method was laser-eye torture. This is how she lost sight in her left eye.

Roy finally discovered she had been arrested due to allegations of association with the Skulls. Along with vouching for her, he provided her medical records between seventeen and eighteen where there were no signs of meta-human activity in her system. She was released and subsequently promised insurance benefits in the form of large sums of monthly payments as long as she remained quiet about the misunderstanding. Mia was by no means willing to satisfy the police department, and neither was Roy. However, they decided that they were best off to accept the compensation and avoid further trouble with the department, despite the couple's seething rage for the new-found police force. The next five years went somewhat smoothly, despite the burning hot bouts of rage she felt each time she looked in the mirror and saw her blind eye. She was forced to keep a cap on it lest she do something stupid and create more problems for herself and the ACPD.

But the five years were smooth, aside from that. She learned how to move around and grab things without her left eye, she became a little more reliant on other senses - most notably her hearing - and she found an outlet for her aggression in Chinatown. Her and her husband both that that signing up for a martial arts course was a good idea, but that she should be careful with her strength and not let on she's a meta-human. Mia agreed and so the twenty-six year old went on to visit the dojo every Tuesday and Thursday. Hearing about SAM and what they stood for, she and Roy immediately supported them, and while Mia wasn't active in their cause, she was still eager to help them out in some way. For instance, fixing some of their vehicles. The work was hard, their vehicles were different and required a little bit of learning, but she still felt pretty honored to help them out.

It was at the end of the five years, six months before now, Roy was out shopping and doing errands for a couple of friends in the neighborhood. Upon coming back, he found himself in the middle of a firefight that seemed to have spontaneously broke out in West Rail. Gang members were holing up in their apartment disguised hideouts and the police forces stormed through in was seemed like seconds. Caught in the crossfire, Roy was killed, shredded by bullets from one direction and a hot bolt of electricity from the other.

The firefight lasted a grueling three hours before it calmed down, too long for a wounded man like Roy to endure. Mia received a call from the hospital to give her the grim news. Heartbroken, Mia trashed the house and, in a fit of rage and grief and guilt, she grabbed one of Roy's kitchen knives and carved her remaining eye. She stayed there, laying on carpet weeping and bleeding for a solid hour, pale faced. A solid hour before a neighbor decided to find out what was the ruckus was about, a solid hour before an ambulance was called.

Mia is now totally blind. She stayed in the hospital for about two months being treated for her eye, as well as undergoing mental recuperation to recover from the shock of suddenly losing her only loved one. After the second month, she was issued a cane and she stayed in her old, trashed apartment for another month, doing just the bare minimum to survive - and struggling to do even that now that she was blind. On her fourth month, she finally began to try mimicking daily life, despite the struggle to figure out what was around her. It took a while for her to walk comfortably whilst blind, and for her to remember how the house felt through her cane. It was by the end of that month was she able to regain control of herself and understand the situation in full: the ACPD - they killed him. It was their fault. Their fault for her husband, their fault for her eyes - all of it! Whatever rage or contempt she had before was dwarfed by the pit of burning coals that sat in her chest every day. By the fifth month she went back to the dojo (albeit with some struggle - she would later acquire a device that would help her navigate the city). With some effort, the instructor able to help her work around her blindness.

The dojo became a regular outlet for her. She took out her aggression there (on punching bags, of course), honed her other senses through sparring sessions (sense of hearing, place, and the length of her body), and learned how to control her strength and how to make the most of it. Given her sharp reflexes, she became capable of reacting faster to the movements she hears from the other students than they could by sight. While the dojo helped her live with her blindness, it did little to satiate her anger. The blind woman saw opportunity with the Skulls, and while she cared very little for them,s he wanted some way to get back at the police department and through the Skulls, that was possible. So now she seeks to waltz right into their base and demand a place. Which sounds arrogant, but her demands stem from anger and desperation, as opposed to arrogance.

Abilities

Power: Mia possesses your typical super-strength and insane reflexes. She can rip down your door with ease, turn over a car with enough exertion, kick your head off your shoulders, and while she can't dodge bullets, she can react to a movement as soon as she senses one. Her super-strength doesn't come in the form of massive muscles, but each strand of her muscle being capable of exerting five times more force than that of a normal human's. And of course, whenever she hits her shin on something by accident and it hurts like hell, she can rest easy knowing that whatever she walked into was probably kicked into oblivion.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Well, biting her lip can suck pretty bad. Otherwise, her weakness lies in her inability to see.

Eye Color: His eye is not like a human eye. It resembles that of an octopus’ eye, Tobias’ eyes are shaped like that of an octopus’ eyes, with a gold-and-orange white surrounding a long, elliptical pupil facing horizontally (if that didn’t make sense, google it).

Ethnicity: Does Octopusian count as an ethnicity?

Physical Appearance: Tobias Wright exists as a vaguely humanoid shape standing at about 5’6” and weighing around 110 lbs. In his base form, Tobias looks pretty much like a floppy human. His limbs and torso have very little muscle definition, and are generally skinny, and for a cephalopod looks slightly overweight, with a pot belly. He has no evidence of any joints or bones anywhere in his body. His arms come down to points like tentacles, and the back side of the part where the hands would be is covered in suction cups. He has three pairs of these arms, each pair set slightly below the pair above them. His legs are much thicker than his arms and end with the same type of suction cup foot. Having no bones, Tobias has sh*t posture. He appears as if he’s being held up by marionette strings, sometime leaning forwards and sometimes backwards. His head is the oddest part of his body, with aspects of both a man and an octopus. It stems from an average-sized thick neck that looks more muscular than his arms. His face is flat and tall, with a curved forehead. He has a human-looking mouth and a rounded jaw line that sags slightly (due to his lack of bones). His teeth are black in color, and are pointed like an octopus’ beak. He has twenty teeth, with ten on the top and ten on the bottom. They are the only hard parts of his entire body. Tobias’ eyes are shaped like that of an octopus’ eyes, with a gold-and-orange white surrounding a long, elliptical pupil facing horizontally (if that didn’t make sense, google it). They are in relatively the same position on his face as human eyes. His nose is like a snake’s, a slight bump with two vertical slits. Tobias’ brain is held in a sack that looks like an octopus’ mantle that sags from the back of his head. His ears exist as two slits on either side of the base of the mantle.

In his base form, Tobias’ skin is a burnt orange like that of the Giant Pacific Octopus and has the same texture as said octopus. However, his skin changes color and texture a lot (you’ll see in the power section). The back side of the mantle and the suction cup sides of his hands are a creamy white.

Attire: Tobias generally dresses business casual, wearing a striped shirt of some sort with khakis and a jacket. He has absolutely no sense of style, and often wears things that badly clash (like a white shirt with green pinstripes and a tweed jacket). He wears no shoes, as without toes they are very difficult to walk in.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: (I put negative effort into this) Tobias is a brainchild. He is incredibly intelligent, and has just enough common sense to keep himself from looking like a total moron (emphasis on total). He is one of those people who talksextremelquicklyandseemstogiveyoucompleteandtotalinformationoverloadwheneveryoutrytoaskhimaquestion. He’s one of those people who loves to hear himself talk. Tobias is about as prideful as he is lazy. He would much rather play video games or take a nap than fight a bad guy. This is one of the reasons why he’s in the SAM, as the Skulls would make him exert too much effort. He is rather self-conscious, and avoids looking into mirrors (even though the fact that his horrid perception of color makes his octupusiness obvious). He is also rather socially awkward, possessing few social graces. Many people find him to be incredibly annoying. He has a fear of lampreys (because they’re f*cking weird) as well as trypophobia; the fear of clusters of small holes (don’t look it up. It transfers electronically. I’m not joking). He also has a fear of very rare diseases like ebola or maple syrup urine disease.

Hobbies/Interests: Playing video games, solving puzzles, collecting rubik's cubes, sneaking around like a ninja (so long as he’s not getting caught).
Skills/Talents: He is highly intelligent, firstly, and can solve puzzles very well. He is highly knowledgeable in computer science and business. He doesn’t have very many physical skills. He used to play the violin, but it’s hard to play with tentacles (Actually, it wouldn’t be quite as hard as you’d think). Shaun keeps him around because he has a CPA (somebody needs to file the taxes and pay the bills).

Power: Tobias has the powers of the mystical floppy-floppy spider of the deep, the octopus. Firstly, he is an invertebrate, which is both a strength and a weakness. It is a strength because it allows Tobias to be able to fit through any hole larger than his teeth (he can fold them up to fit through things) and makes him extremely strong, as his limbs are made almost entirely of muscle. It is a weakness, however, because without bones, Tobias has no way to protect his organs from damage (although he does have bands of muscle around his vital organs that provide him with some protection, though this isn’t as good of protection as a skull or ribcage would grant. Secondly, Tobias is a color magician. His skin is packed with chromatophores, cells that can control the release of pigment. Because of these cells, Tobias has the ability to change his color to match any background almost perfectly. His invertebrate nature also allows him to change his shape and texture, making him extremely good at camouflage. The more he studies an object, the better he is able to camouflage as it. His hands are another vital ability. The suction cups allow him to scale walls and other flat objects with relative ease Each suction cup can rotate and grasp independently, and can taste/smell what they touch. Because of his powerful eyes, Tobias can see infrared light, giving him a sort of thermal vision. He can pick out people hiding with ease (although this sense is thwarted by large amounts of plants or animals). He has the ability to breathe underwater.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Due to the shape and small size of his ears, Tobias has poor hearing. He is now something of a glass cannon-without bones to absorb the impact of blows and protect his internal organs, Tobias is in danger of severe harm even from blunt trauma or what were before minor wounds. Secondly, his new octopus nature has changed his blood from relying on hemoglobin to transport oxygen: he will find himself less efficient in warmer environments, particularly out of the water. In the cold and the wet, he will excel, but otherwise, he may find himself drawing short of breath or getting light-headed if he overexerts himself. Finally, while he may be all muscle, he is only ninety pounds now. A good many people can bench-press far more than his body weight. He can apply what strength he does have to good effect, but, as a rule of thumb in fights, the bigger, heavier guy tends to have better odds than the smaller, lighter octopus guy.

Physical Appearance: Missy doesn't exactly look like your average teenaged girl. Hell, she looks like something out of a horror movie. Her exposed skin is covered in thick veins. She has an eerily slender and bony, nearly anorectic, build, with little curves. Like if she dropped all of her clothes, people could see her skin clinging to her bones. Her pale skin isn't even perfectly clear, it's covered in scars of the slashing variety. However they appear as if something had bust out of her skin rather than someone stabbing into her. Missy has brutally engraved her name onto the underside of her forearm, it has long scarred to forever remind her of her name. Missy keeps part of her face covered up using a surgical mask. Under it is a hideous scar and deformity on her mouth because of a misuse of her power. It makes her look quite monstrous. One of the strangest features on her body has got to be her spine... It's exposed to the world, and well prehensile like a monkey's tail. It's located a few inches above her waist, and is easily six feet long. This spine moves quite strangely, like it's a scorpion tail. Finally, Missy has double joints, and it's quite obvious from the way her knees, shoulders, and elbows are shaped. You could see Missy preforming some inhuman feats of agility and movement. All of these mutations and deformities are obscured by Missy's choice of heavy, obscuring clothing. Missy's quite tall for a girl her age, she's 5'8ft, and weighs 92 lb.

Missy is a Caucasian girl, and going from her facial features, she's obviously European. Likely Danish. Her skin is rather pale as it's been mentioned before. Far from anything healthy. If it wasn't for her rather freakish features, she could be called an attractive girl. Her facial features are strong, and bulky. She has a pronounced nose that's very pointy and triangle shaped. Her nose-bridge is very thin in comparison with the rest of her nose. Missy has a thick, near androgynous, jawline, with a blocky chin. Her ears are large and very rounded, however, most of the time they're obscured by her hair. Her lips are thick and full, though, she has a thicker lower lip than a top lip, both of her lips have a scar stretching across them. Missy's forehead is quite large, in terms of both height and width. Like her ears, it's obscured by her hair, so it doesn't look that large. Missy's eyes are large and pronounced, she has blue irises. Much like other Danish girls, Missy's hair is a light-brown color. It's straight, but not the cleanest or best looking hair. She has her hair styled as a messy bun. It's not perfect, or it used to be, so thick, messy, strands of hair hang down from it onto the rest of her head.

Attire: In an attempt to appear as normal as possible, Missy wears heavy, obscuring clothing that covers up as much of her flesh as possible. She'll wear coats, jackets, long pants, gloves, etc, etc. The usual. The most notable part of her outfit is that she's always walking around wearing a surgical mask. It makes her stand out, but it keeps her from looking like a freak. Thus, Missy looks like a normal girl. However, if Missy gets into a fight, she'll drop all of her outer clothing and will be seen wearing a lighter outfit that shows plenty of her skin. A sports bra and shorts. However, her body makes her far from eye-candy.


Personality


Outward & Innate Personality: Missy is quite a dark human being. She is very unsocial to the point of ineptitude, cynical, jaded, and is insanely untrusting of other people. Preferring to keep to herself. She has a dark, snarky, sense of humor - Joking about even the most grim things. She constantly makes snarky comments whenever someone fails, and gets irritated quite fast. Beneath her surface, people who's gotten to know her have learned that she is nicer than she looks. Compassionate, humble, caring, and loves to have fun. She wants real friends. Personally, she just wants to be normal, and have the childhood that she missed. Though, she can come off as immature, for wanting to indulged herself with toys. Missy is also desperate to prove to the world that she's a good person, and not a monster. She would go to near-suicidal lengths to help people. Though, Missy is quite the berserker. She harbors a grudge like no other against the ACPD, and wants revenge against every single member of the group. he tends to break out into fits of anger if she's pushed far enough. The kind of angry which will cause her to viciously lash out against the cause until it's twenty different kinds of dead. Missy also has Hedonophobia, a fear of physical pleasures. It's rather associated with guilt, than fear. Because of this, she's asexual. However, she's not aromantic, she is fine with engaging in non-sexual romance with either gender. Though, she doesn't have a good perception of romance to begin with.

Hobbies/Interests: Missy enjoys peaceful, beautiful, or cute things. Such as dogs or flowers. She also likes to daydream and indulge herself in nostalgic memories - As her memories are way better than her current life.

Skills/Talents: Missy doesn't have too many skills. But when she was in school, she was a champion gymnast. Making her exceptionally agile. This comes with being quick on her feet. She's also exceptionally stealthy, mixing her ability with her natural skills. Missy knows how to play the harp well. Though, she's not one for performances.

Prized Possession: A few toys that Missy keeps hidden away.

Abilities

Power: Missy has a limited form of biokinesis, except it has something to do with her body. The powers are ordered from strongest to weakest.

Bone Manipulation. This is Missy's main ability as it's easily her strongest. Missy can manipulate her own bone in several different fashions. She can grow, shape, and alter the density, of bone. This allows her to do quite a few things. The most obvious application would be bursting bones out of her skin to create weapons. The less obvious uses would be hardening her skeleton to become much resistant to damage, or enhancing her body (Double joints, make her bones hollow, or repairing them). Missy can quickly repair broken bones by manually repairing them. Missy can manipulate her own bones, and the bones of others. In order to manipulate the bones of other she has to attach her prehensile spine to exposed bone to control them. She can do some rather vicious things to people using that method.

Flesh Manipulation. Missy can control her own soft-tissue, however she can better control the outer layers of flesh (Skin is what she's best at manipulating) better than deep down flesh. She can do the same things that she can do with her bone manipulation here, except with a little more variety. She can shape, and grow her skin, in addition to being able to alter texture, color, smoothness, density, sensitivity, etc. One trick she learned how to do is give herself "enhanced touch". An exceptionally good sense of touch. This gives her a seismic sense. Giving her the ability to sense vibrations through solids and liquids. She can even sense air-pressure changes

Blood Manipulation. The weakest of Missy's ability is the ability to control her own blood. It's no where near as powerful as her Bone or Flesh Manipulation. She can telekinetically control blood. Either her own, or blood that's been exposed to the air. She lacks the fancy tricks of her previous two abilities, but she can do stuff like force wounds to scab, or stop blood flow in parts of her body.

Regeneration. Missy's last ability is a passive usage. She possess regeneration like Wolverine. As in her wounds heal quite fast. A knife wound will close up in a few minutes, while getting a limb blown off will take a few days to regrow. This keeps her in the fight much longer.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: A myriad, actually. Missy's main ability is her strongest, but it's also the most damaging. Making bones burst through her skin is quite painful, and causes internal wounds as well. She must be careful not to damage anything important when she makes alters her skeleton. Altering her flesh too much wears down it's properties, and makes it much more susceptible to all forms of damage. It's make her skin like paper. Increasing her skin's sensitivity can be painful, even a needle dropping on her could be hell. Her blood manipulation is her weakest ability, and she doesn't have the special tricks. She also has a limited supply of blood, so she'll run the risk of bleeding to death if she goes too far. Not being careful with her power in general can easily kill her. Her regeneration kicks her metabolism into overdrive and expends resources, requiring her to eat, sleep and drink much more often.
