| For one-on-one RP's, it largely depends on the RP you want to join. There's nothing wrong with an RP with only two people working on the story, as I am in one myself, although there were originally other members, but they dropped out a long time ago. Now it's me and one other person, and we basically just make up the story as we go along.
As for asking permission to join an RP, most RP's require you to submit a character sheet for approval before you join. I don't actually know if that counts as permission or not, but usually you'll get in trouble if you post in the IC unannounced. I don't think you need to ask permission to join any RP, though, you can feel free to choose any RP you like, just post in the OOC to say you want to join.
In regards to limited RP's with fixed numbers of members, yes, we do those here, although currently there aren't any RP's with such regulations in place, to my knowledge. Most of them right now are open to new members. | |

| Hello! And welcome to the Roleplex. My name is Op, I'm the least 'powerful' of the admins in terms of figurative power, but I'm probably the most fun to be around (Ol' Darkel and Vipes are cool and all, but they're sticks in the mud. You didn't hear it from me.)
As for 1 x 1 roleplays, yeah! We would be happy to do them! At least I would (I can also see my assistant, Maxx Toron, as a suitable partner. He's the guy that has the ranking of Mister Doctor Professor Operator's Assistant. Courtesy of yours truly). Although we don't exactly have any right now. I might go in and add a 1x1 section if they become popular. But for now, just put them in the categories we have listed, I'll change them up accordingly if things lead to the new section.
Asking? Pfft. Who asks anymore? I don't ask when I take something. I... Borrow it. The only thing I have to do is return it before it's missed (Never). Anyway, no, you usually don't have to ask to join anything around here. Just submit a sheet and if it meets the Roleplay's standards, then you're in!
We've had a FEW limiteds around here for a small group. But no set amount. While I have been in a few limiteds off site, so I know what you're talking about. You just posted an OOC that's limited, didn't you? If no one has said it's not allowed as of yet, there's your answer!

| The latest ban being over what, a few "inappropriate" comments? Really, it's mostly a matter of perspective. Yes, I should've been more thoughtful of the zero-tolerance environment I'm in, but it's also a habitual turn of the conversation. My family is rather open with all forms of conversation, and I find myself forgetting that this forum also houses younger individuals. I was actually just about to make a post apologizing before I was banned for a week. This all being the reason why I try not to judge people pertaining to certain qualities since I don't know what life is like on the other end.

Mature topics are a common place event where I reside and often become Risque. But I am able to remeber to keep such comments and the like under wraps when on this forum. As a matter of fact If I were converse with you guys the way I do my Friends I would've long ago been perma-banned from this site. But I have a large measure of control over such things due to my Home envoriment. My step-mom doesn't allow such conversations and the like. ( Fixed it. Happy?)

| Well i too am like lieo i have a family with very open conversations especaily since we drink and smoke an illegal plant in most parts of the US but i try too keep it safe but sometimes i slip and im just sayin here but i think its not really a big issue since im sure most of us already know about alot of that stuff especialy for those who have the internet. | |
