You might not have heard of them. You might not have heard of the SCP Foundation. The foundation is top-secret, but they have a reason to be, for what they find might risk innocent lives. SCP is an acronym for “Secure, Contain, Protect.” They secure these anomalies, keeping them safe from destruction unless intended. They contain them, to keep security breaches to a minimum. And they protect them from the public, for their own safety and the safety of everyone.
But, nonetheless, there are security breaches. More than once a creature broke out of their cage and wreaked havoc on the main building. Sometimes, more than one broke out at once, which usually called for desperate measures. Now imagine that you were a Class 1 personnel on the scene, just minutes before a major security breach. Now, stop imagining and prepare, for this is very, very real.

"All Class D personnel, please enter SCP-106's room for testing,” commanded Dr. Stowe, almost feeling bad for the trio of men. The men were obviously scared. SCP-106 was one of the most infamous of the creatures, as well as one of the most powerful. The men entered the vault, and stood silently as the door loudly closed behind them. Dr. Stowe pressed another button, and the second door opened with a loud whirring sound. Facing the wall stood a pitch black figure, accompanied by a loud breathing sound. The men inched forward, out into the open. “Alright, stand still.” Dr. Stowe pressed the button again, closing the door behind them. The door began to close, but got stuck halfway. It wouldn’t budge. Worried, Dr. Stowe into the intercom, “D-106-32, please approach SCP-106.” Glancing to the side of his screen, Dr. Stowe noticed that SCP-106, the Old Man, had moved. What was he up to? The Old Man almost floated to the three test subjects. He grabbed the tallest one of the three by the neck and help him for several seconds. He dropped the man once he went limp.
He didn’t even break the guy’s neck, and astounded Dr. Stowe realized.
The Old Man repeated the action on the other two, then looked at the door. He knew a way out. He waltzed his way towards the first door, then began to pry it open. The Old Man stretched his hand through the new gap, and gazed around. The room was full of personnel, which wasn’t a problem. Bullets didn’t keep him contained, the cage did. The Old man stepped on the white floor, and sunk into it. Dr. Stowe’s voice was heard on the intercom, “SCP-106 has breached containment! I repeat, SCP-106 has breached containment!" All personnel in the area scrambled to their positions, making calls and alerting the foundation of the breach. There was a group of Class-1 personnel, confused. They were new recruits, and have never experienced a Containment Breach before. Stowe noticed, and spoke once more: “All Class-1 personnel, get to the office. I need a favor of you...”

Welcome to the SCP Foundation, recruit! Our job is to protect humanity from the monsters that threaten our existence. And let me tell you, that's easier said then done.
Our SCPs range from ridiculous to terrifying, from harmless to sadistic. We have three levels that we classify our creatures in:
SAFE: This does not mean it's harmless. It simply means that it is easy to contain. Safe items include SCP-914, SCP-346, and SCP-529.
EUCLID: Most of our SCPs are Euclids. They are usually dangerous, and relatively hard to contain. Euclid items include SCP-173, SCP-096, and SCP-250.
KETER: Keters are the most dangerous. They are the most difficult to contain, and are usually never tested with (Despite Dr. Stowe's beliefs). Keter items include SCP-682, SCP-106, and SCP-055.
SCP Website:
http://www.scp-wiki.net/RULES:*No killing other characters, period. You're all on the same team here! There are, however, exceptions to that rule. There are items and creatures that can influence your mind and make you do things that you normally would not have done.
*One cannot simply see another SCP. It is
I who introduces new monsters into the RP.
*No godmodding or metagaming.
*You can control monsters briefly with me or a moderator's permission.
*Put "Welcome to the Foundation" in your "Other" part of the sheet if you have read the rules.
*I won't accept gore and cusses thrown everywhere. Blood is fine, but you don't really have to make it graphic. This is a horror-type RP. With monsters. Not guts.
