March of the Kaiju IC Empty
PostSubject: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyMon Mar 25, 2013 12:40 am

Verthaven, 7:38pm

It was Summertime for the various teens of Verthaven. Since the city was quite the vacation hot spot nobody had ever ran out of things to do now that school was over. For some it's great time to spend time outside. For others it's more time in the day to be going about their business. It gets monotonous fast. However, an adventure like no other was about to begin--- it was calling out to the few. Literally. Those of a certain age, around Verthaven were being attracted to a very special part of the parks in Verthaven. It was hard to explain, but teens wanted to head off to this park subconsciously. While adults subconsciously didn't want to be anywhere near the place. The Park -not so cleverly- named The All Fathers Park. It was here since Verthaven was first founded, the most notable part of the park was the several statues at several different points of the park, all of every single president of the United States, some of these statues are incredibly old and aged made out of stone and surprisingly still in one piece due to the insane amount of effort put into keeping them up. While the rest were new and freshly made out of iron, silver or copper--- it became a sort of "tradition" to forge new statues when a brand new president is elected. It was one of those things that everything is proud of when it's far less impressive than it really is.

Cameron was at the park. It was the very crack of dawn. He was wearing his usual attire of a tan jacket, and jeans. He was wearing his tinted ski-goggles which rested on his forehead. He's been spending his summer recovering from the large amounts of schoolwork he usually gets. He was leaning up against a Copper Statue of Thomas Jefferson. He was waiting around for something to happen. Tonight especially the All-Fathers park was desolate save for a few other people his age. Which was stranger since there should be a few homeless people here at this hour.

March of the Kaiju IC Empty
PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyMon Mar 25, 2013 1:47 am

Heather, although typically preferring to stay inside where the air conditioning kept the temperature at a comfortable level, had oddly felt like going for a walk today. She had taken maybe only five minutes to get dressed in her usual outfit, a simple pair of skinny jeans, the same black running shoes, and a long sleeve shirt that was perhaps the most awful shade of lime green. She would have chosen something duller, except for the fact that she had forgotten to do her laundry last night, so it was the only clean shirt she had available. She had also combed her hair somewhat hastily, and she badly needed to wash it. It looked oily, tangled, and stringy, and the fact that it was frizzy today was making it even worse. It wasn't until she was far from home that she realized how awful she must have looked, but by that point, she wasn't really able to return home to get a shower. She didn't even have her purse with her, but then again, she didn't wear makeup, anyway, so she doubted that even if she had been carrying it, it would have done her any good.

By the time she was at the All Fathers Park, she was feeling so self-conscious that she glanced over her shoulder every few minutes, and absently scratched at her upper arm through the fabric of her sleeve. The worst part was that she hardly even noticed that she was doing it, and when she did, she pulled her hand away and tugged her sleeve further down, although she was a bit too late. A tiny dark dot was now spreading in a spot below her shoulder, and Heather silently scolded herself for it. What was somebody going to say, when they saw an unkempt teenage girl walking around with tiny blood stains on her sleeves? Fidgeting, she combed her fingers through her hair, trying to make it look just a bit more presentable, only to snag them, and have to rip them free. Eventually, she folded her arms, keeping her hands in a position where they covered the blood spots. However, due to this, she had an unusual, hunched-over posture, and still looked extremely nervous. By this point, she was walking past the statue of Thomas Jefferson, which was all the way on the other side of the park. Why did she even decide to come out here again?

Blake was relieved that school was out. He could barely stand it as it was, but when it neared a break, people acted particularly crazy. It was exhausting, to the point that he tried to cut class or skip school almost every day. He knew that he was truant, because of it, but at the same time, he wasn't doing it because he didn't care about learning. In fact, he believed that learning was very important. He just didn't want to learn around other people. Everybody wanted to be his friend, but at the same time, he didn't much like the obligations that came with it. Too much involvement could get you into a mess, and Blake wanted no part of it. At the same time, somehow he wound up one of the most well-known people in his school, and then someone said he reminded them of the Moray Eel in the local aquarium, and he wound up with Moray as a nickname.

Although at first he wasn't very sure about it, Blake actually started to like being called Moray. It was a fearsome name, and it scared people, which suited him just fine. If people were scared of him, then that meant they weren't bothering him every couple of seconds for something he didn't really want to do. It was pretty nice, but it didn't scare off everyone. There were some people who still bugged him, to the point that he would finally shove them away and tell them to back off. He knew it looked awful, but then again, being a bully scared people away, didn't it? Of course, then there were people who stood up to the bullies, and there was no end to the aggravation.

Today was one of the few days that he had actually decided to go to the park to read, considering that today it actually looked like hardly anyone was there. Once he arrived, he had sat down on a bench somewhere near Thomas Jefferson and started reading his adventure novel. There, considering he wasn't sitting there and doing nothing, he was sure nobody would even pay any attention to him. In fact, even if there was someone from his school who happened to catch a glimpse of him, and actually knew who he was, he doubted they would try to talk to him. People knew better than to annoy him.

March of the Kaiju IC Empty
PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyMon Mar 25, 2013 2:16 am

"Finally got my hands on these..." Felix said, taking his skate key off of his short's belt hook, and re-screwing the final wheel on his longboard. He lifted his hand to the wheel, and spun it, making sure the bearings were on right. He smiled as the wheel spun, content on his job. However, he knew he had to ride it a little to 'break in' the new bearings and wheels. Felix had been saving for about a week and waiting for his local skate shop to come in with a new set of butterballs. THE sliding wheels. He had perfected his Standy's. Now all he needed to do was try it with the new wheels.

He set the board on the ground, and took a quick look at his surroundings. He was in this place, called AllFathers Park. He wasn't sure why he scared down here, he just... Did, he guessed. Nothing strange about it. He set his foot on the board. His standing style was regular, so the Standy slides were easier for him to do. He put his foot on the ground, and pushed off.

One push, he was movin'.

Two push, he was cruisin'

Three push, he was slidin'.

Placing his feet right behind each truck's securer, respectively, he lifted most of his weight off of his back foot and put it into his front, and turned sharply. His board drifted, doing a perfect 180 degree turn. The wheels resisting very little as the board turned. As the slide came to a close, the board lost speed, instead, relying on momentum. Felix was now moving in the same direction he was going before, except the back of his board was in front, and much slower. Waving his arms in an effort to keep his balance, Felix successfully completed the Standy, and managed to stay on the board.

He was, to put it bluntly, amazed. He managed to do the slide with half the effort he had to with his old wheels.

"Did anyone see that?" He asked to no one in particular. He wasn't trying to look cool doing it. He just wanted to make sure he did it. Because that was far easier than it had been.

March of the Kaiju IC Empty
PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyMon Mar 25, 2013 2:47 am

(Elucid's unoriginal theme)

Elucid Constantini found himself standing at the foot of a copper statue of Richard Nixon, shivering in the early morning cold. He wore his red and green plaid pajamas along with a white robe and black fuzzy slippers which were now covered in mud residue from the walk to the park from his family's villa. He had awoken early in the morning, unable to sleep. He remembered feeling some sort of calling to him, to have him come to this park at this exact moment. He had risen from his red velvet water bed at that exact moment and left via the massive wooden front door of the villa, leaving a note on the glass foyer table, propped up against an imported porcelain pitcher, explaining that he was going to take a walk. Elucid normally took his bodyguard Marcello with him whenever he went anywhere, but tonight he felt as if he hadn't the need for a bodyguard.

Now, he found himself at the feet of the only US president ever to resign from office. The face of the statue had the residue of red spraypaint which someone had applied to it long ago, and the word "cheat" was written in red spray paint on the side of the statue's high stone plinth. Elucid looked up an frowned. Cheat, just like Nonno. Elucid muttered to himself as he leaned against the statue. He looked around a moment, and realized that several other teenagers were walking around the park as well.

So much for clearing my head. Elucid thought as he approached an empty trashcan. He began to toss firewood into the rusty can to build a fire. As he walked between the trees, he thought about his life as of recent. Everything seemed to be crumbling in his hands, and he was powerless to stop it. For once, Elucid's own family seemed foreign and hostile to him, like an alien race. They all thought that the disgusting horror they were forcing upon him was going to better his life or something, but he knew best. He would never commit incest, even if it was to purify his family name. He continued to pile the firewood into the can, though he realized that he hadn't a lighter for the job.

"Anybody got a lighter?" he hesitantly cried out.

March of the Kaiju IC Empty
PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyTue Mar 26, 2013 12:33 am

Moray heard someone asking a question, rather loudly, and prickled with irritation. He had just been getting to the best part of the story, and now somebody was going to interrupt him. He scowled, and closed his book, using his index finger to hold his place, as he did not have a bookmark with him. He looked up and saw that some skateboarding guy around his age had been asking a question. Blake considered whether or not he should answer, but before he could make his decision, a girl walked straight into him, seemingly having been oblivious to the fact that he had been standing there. He stumbled back a little, but still managed to stay on his feet, although he dropped his book on the sidewalk, and the girl wound up landing on her back. She looked up, seeming momentarily stunned, before she realized what had just occurred, and scrambled to get up, "Oh, dear, I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention! I'm so sorry!" She said, saying the words extremely fast, appearing horrified that she had walked into someone.

Moray, annoyed, bent down and picked up his book, dusting off its cover, and flipping through the pages to find his lost spot. Eventually, he dog eared the page, despite being against doing so, as it messed up the book. The entire time, he did not speak, allowing the girl to squirm from the uncomfortable silence. When he had closed the book and tucked it under one arm, he looked at the girl, still not saying anything, although his frown made it obvious that he was angry about it. However, when he took in her appearance, his scowl deepened. She looked as though she had been hit by a train. Her hair was oily and matted, and her shirt, although appearing clean, had little dark dots on the arms, stains from something, although he couldn't be sure what. The girl, clearly self-conscious, tried to pull her hair out of her face, but wound up snagging her fingers, and had to rip them free. It was pitiful, and against his better judgement, Blake felt slightly concerned, although he didn't really want to get involved. Eventually, after a long, tense pause, he spoke, "It's fine," He said, although the tone he took didn't exactly sound very forgiving. He wasn't really the forgiving type, but he was saying it out of common decency.

Heather couldn't believe that she had just bumped into someone. Worse, it was on a day when she looked awful, and it was a guy who actually looked like someone you didn't want to mess with. He was a good half a foot taller than her, and he looked like he could beat someone up, if he wanted to. The fact that he looked particularly annoyed made it worse, in addition to the fact that it took him forever to respond to her apology. At the same time, she couldn't shake the feeling she knew him from somewhere. When she was trying to build up her courage, he abruptly turned and started to walk off. "Wait!" She exclaimed, making him stop in his tracks, "You look familiar, you go to West Verthaven High?" She asked. After another uncomfortable silence, the stranger turned and looked at her, "Well, actually, yes. I'm surprised you don't know who I am, though." He said. Heather frowned, but couldn't place a name, "Well, I don't really recall." She said. The stranger shrugged, "Well, my name is Blake, but everyone calls me Moray." He said. Although he was carrying on the conversation, he didn't look like he wanted to talk to her. Heather frowned, "Well, I might've heard people mention you every once in awhile. Everyone says you're a bully." She said.

Moray frowned at this, "Well, that's not the first time I've heard people say that." He said. He really wished that the girl hadn't brought up school, but now he was stuck, and he doubted he could get out of this conversation. He then considered asking a question of his own, and his mind warned against it. Don't do it, you'll get involved, you'll regret it later. Blake went against it, "Well, what's your name, then?" He asked. Heather folded her arms in a gesture that made her look as though she were cold, and then he noticed that it was a bit too hot for a long sleeve shirt, although he couldn't point it out, considering he was wearing his riding jacket, and he didn't want to look foolish. "My name is Heather," She said, "But you probably haven't heard of me." Moray nodded, "Okay, then." He said. With this, he started to walk off again, unaware that he and Heather had accidentally caused a small scene in the park.

Cameron

Cameron had raised his tinted goggles to help him see what was going on. Nothing really interesting--- other than the group of people that were slowly starting to form. He continued leaning against the statue, with one hand in the pocket of his pants and his other pressed up against the statue. He was obviously staring at the other people he shared the park with. Then, he opened up his mouth. Ready to speak regarding all these events. First, he opened up his mouth and spoke to Felix, "Zaha... that was sweet, brother." He gave him the thumb's up and smiled. Of course Cameron was the social-type; never afraid to approach or interact with anyone. He was mostly unaware of Heather and Blake since -to him- they weren't doing anything of note other than... nothing he felt like saying. The girl, Heather. Looked very dirty. Like she was living on the streets for a bit. That blood on her being was off-putting. Enough so that the "common-sense" in Cameron was screaming for him not to say anything.

PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyTue Mar 26, 2013 3:09 am

Felix looked over to the one who had spoken to him, and smiled, returning the thumbs up back. He liked this guy already. He put his foot on the tail-head of his board, and pushed down abruptly, allowing it to come up to his hand (Yes, some long boards have a Tail and Head like a skateboard. Mine even does) . He pulled the board up, and put it under his arm and began to make his way over to the growing group.

He eyed the largest teen. A tall six foot guy. He recognized him as one of the school's bullies. He and the others he skated with usually weren't picked on, because he was leaning to the more popular side of the crowd, at least he was. And it wasn't like a fist fight would break out, there wasn't anything to fight over.

He felt something twitch on his person. He couldn't put his finger on what, but he felt... something.

Something...

March of the Kaiju IC Empty
PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyTue Mar 26, 2013 10:06 pm

Heather frowned, for some odd reason, Moray's behavior made her anxiety turn into irritation, "Do you do that to everyone?" She asked. Blake, once more, had to stop and turn around to look at her, annoyance flashing across his features, but quickly vanishing as it was replaced by what appeared to be his usual, placid expression. "Do what, exactly?" Moray asked. Heather's frown became a scowl, "Walk off on people when they're trying to speak to you." she specified. Moray, not really able to come up with a good reply, just shrugged. Heather was perplexed, but before she could say more, Moray gestured for her to look over her shoulder, "Someone else is coming to talk. It would be better if we just dropped the matter." He said. Although it was a calm tone, it struck Heather that he probably had been uncomfortable with her getting onto him. So, he wasn't a typical bully, considering he actually seemed very smart, and able to keep his cool in a bad situation. He just didn't strike her as a violent type, although antisocial was definitely on the list somewhere.

Although she was probably the least likely person for greetings, Heather waved at the skateboarder as he approached, while Moray stood by, with his arms folded, a book in one hand, and a stoic scowl on his face. He didn't like having to be stuck in this mess, but he might as well stick around, since he was trapped now. As long as nobody messed with him, he was fine, but people better not ask too many questions. He already felt strange standing next to Heather, considering that she looked terrible, and he was starting to wonder if she was attracting too much attention. The whole point of him coming to the park in the first place was so that he wouldn't be noticed.

PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyTue Mar 26, 2013 11:47 pm

Unbeknownst to the teenage crowd that was forming in the sea of statues; they were finally going to be chosen for something that'd change their lives. Away from the crowd came a bright lavender light that pierced the sky. It was very thin and got wider as it went up. No one else that weren't in the park could see nothing. Just natural sky. The teens however, could see the light completely and were amazed by it. It came from no particular source, only appeared out of the ground and went up into the sky. Cameron, was the first to take notice of this. He looked straight at it and lowered his goggles over his eyes--- strangely under tints it's completely invisible. Like it wasn't there. When he raised his goggles carefully resting them on his forehead it reappeared. His eyes narrowed and he pointed straight at it with his gloved hand.

"Does anyone else see that or I'm goin' crazy?"

"Um, cancel that lighter." Elucid's eyes lit up lavender as he saw the flash. It had an almost hypnotic look to it, as if he were in a trance. It looked like something from out of an alien movie, when ET's Mother Ship cam floating down from the heavens. He left the trash can at that moment and began to walk towards the lavender flash, his posh white slippers getting caked with mud as he did so.

Although normally against answering questions, Blake shook his head, "No, you're not imagining it." He said. Heather, who was a bit to surprised or shocked to form words, just stared at the light. It was hard not to focus on it, considering that it was so bizarre. It could have been an aurora, or a meteorite, or any other form of phenomenon, although Moray was unsure whether or not it was a good or bad thing. It filled him with an odd sense of giddiness, but it also made his stomach twist nervously. He didn't know what to think of it.

"You're not insane mate, unless I'm insane with you..." Felix said, laying his board against the closest president. He walked over, standing behind Moray and Heather. The light that has appeared out of the ground was... alien... Wait....

Idea.

Being the half-wit he was at times, Felix decided that messing with Moray would be fun. "I just hope there isn't a..." he began, before leaning forward and grabbing Moray by the shoulders from behind, and swiftly shook him. "CHESTBUSTER!" he said, before retreating back to his own space with a chuckling slightly at his own not-even-clever-joke.

He decided that standing close to the bully wouldn't be a good idea. He smiled at Heather, not paying mind to her appearance, and moved closer that the other teens to where the light came from, but still a decent distance away.

"Anyone have any idea of what we should do?"

For a few seconds Cameron didn't know how to proceed. Should he just leave, ignore it or investigate? For some reason he felt like doing the latter for some reason. Just like an outside force was pushing him to do so. He was unaware, but the next thing he did would be considered out of character--- or a lack of common sense. He turned to Felix and said, "Dunno, I'm gonna look at it." He slowly walked over to it, still cautious of what would happen. Until he was standing directly over it. Strangely, it was coming out of nothing. Cameron put his foot over the lavender light and it still shined brightly unaffected. He tried blocking it with his hand... until he realized that there was no point.

Some of the other teens in the park had already started to approach him, he said non-nonchalantly "What do you think it is?"

Moray shot Felix a malicious glare. Although his expression was visibly irritated, he didn't move to strike the skateboarder. He didn't want to lash out unless he absolutely had to. He also followed the others, huffing the word, "Morons" with annoyance under his breath. He arrived at where the light was, and looked at it, wondering what it was. He didn't speak, though, because the last thing he needed was people watching him when he wasn't in a calm mood.

Heather, although appreciating the skateboarder's smile, was also somewhat taken aback by his behavior. She was sure she had seen him from somewhere, maybe he went to her school. If that was the case, though, then why on Earth did he joke around with Moray like that? It was clear from the reaction that the two didn't know each other, and to mess with someone who was a known delinquent was asking for trouble. Even Heather herself could sympathize, considering she would have likely punched someone for that. Really, Moray actually exerting a surprising amount of self-control, it seemed. She tripped slightly, but eventually got among the rest of the group to stare at the light, "It's not a meteorite or an aurora, that's for certain." She said.

Felix met Moray's gaze, and his usual happy demeanor changed from what it was to a more serious one. He raised his hands and moved closer to where Cameron was. He moved closer himself, bending down to wave his own hand over the light with the same results.

"What else comes from the sky then? It's not a bird, it's not a normal piece of tech. At least, I dont think it is." He said, standing straight up again.

"Anyone... want to touch it?" He asked, thinking out loud. To be honest, he was very curious about the pillar of light. He just didn't want to screw anything else up and risk being yelled at by someone. He already made the one guy pretty mad as it was.

Elucid slowly approached the lavender light cautiously, unsure of what to do. He knelt on the ground next to the light from nowhere and slowly reached through to touch it. Nothing happened. He stood up and looked around, looking for some kind of electric light causing this illusion, but he found none. He pulled his phone out, and moved to send his bodyguard Luca a text to come get him, but stopped when he saw that he had no reception.

Accidenti Verizon.

"Do you think it could be coming from under the ground?" Elucid thought out loud.

Heather frowned, "I don't see a hole anywhere..." She said. "I'd suggest burning swamp gas, except for the fact that we ain't in a swamp." She honestly didn't know what to make of it. "And no, I have no clue if we should touch it or not. It doesn't give off any heat or anything, but it's pretty bright. Are you sure we should be looking at it?" This was madness, how could a light just appear out of nowhere? It didn't seem to have any source. It was just there.

March of the Kaiju IC Empty
PostSubject: Re: March of the Kaiju IC   March of the Kaiju IC EmptyFri Mar 29, 2013 3:05 pm

All five teens were finally in position. The main event can now begin. The light lowered back into the grass, rousing more suspicion from the teens. It completely disappeared or was out of sight. In that instance the teens had thought it was all a figment of their imagination or that it was merely a strange event that's one in a million. No matter what they thought of it. There was much more to it. Cameron knelt over to look closely. Only to brush it off, "Zaha... Looks like that weird behind thing's gone." He then shrugs. "I'm going to head on home, then..." The urge to come to this park for whatever reason was fading. As the machine has completed it's work: attract potential hosts to bear the Mark of the Kaiju. Out of no where there was a bright flash of light. Like a flash bang of the same lavender light. The children were all gone. Without a trace. They were sent to a completely different place that is not located anywhere on Earth--- nor the same universe. This place was like a dark void. There was a lavender fog at their feet indicating a wide straight path, and other than that the there was nothing but darkness. Strangely the place was illuminated--- enough for everyone to see everything clearly. There was no clue what would be at the end of the path. Only that there was a path.

March of the Kaiju IC Empty

Heather jumped, "Where are we?! I mean, one moment, the light vanished and now..." She drifted off, unable to find the right words. It really didn't make sense. She didn't see anything at all, just a black void, that, and the strange low-lying fog. Lavender in coloration, and trailing in wisps, it seemed to trail off into the distance in a defined line. Although she might have been imagining it, she didn't think that it was a figment of her imagination. "It looks like a path, but what's at the end of it...? I can't see that far..." She said, now saying her thoughts out loud. Although at first, she didn't know what to do, she finally heaved a shaky sigh, and began to follow it, not seeing any other alternative.

Blake, unsure of what the light had done, was immediately frustrated by his new situation. "What on Earth did that thing do?!" He exclaimed, unsure how he had wound up in the strange place where he now stood. Although he was prepared to do something irrational, he stopped himself, before he made a mistake. Okay, okay, calm down, try not to act like you have no clue what's happening, freaking out won't help you. He took several deep breaths, before sighing. Fine, whatever, follow the path it is. With this in mind, he, too, also began to follow the strange trail of mist.

Felix felt.. Strange to say in the least. He was light, weightless even. But he felt like was being pulled.

He snaped, thrashing suddenly in his sleep and waking himself up. "What the DARKY !" He nearly shouted, rolling over only to see pitch black.

He stared at the dark for a moment. He felt himself beginning to hyperventilate, and he shifted his weight to his other arm, and held his chest. Forcing himself to take a deep breath and calm down. He couldn't freak out in front of the others. That would cause them to get even more distressed than him. He took another deep breath, and slowly stood.

"What the..." Felix said, looking around wide eyed. "I dont think we're on Earth anymore, unless we're in one of those weird places in Japan." He said, looking around himself. He was terrified. it wasnt right for someone slyo see a ligjt and then just get poofed into another place. But... he saw a light... was he... dead? He didnt want to be dead. Being dead was... being dead! He wrapped his arms around his body as if giving himself a hug, and rubbed, tryig to keep calm.

In an effort to keep his mind off of the thought of being dead, he looked down at the lavender colored fog which indicated the way. He also observed that he was in what seemed to be a room of only black, besides of course the lavender fog. So if it was only black, how could he see? He probably wouldn't be able to if the fog wasnt there to disinguish one area from the other. The fog seemed to form the outline of a path. So what was at the end of the path?

He didn't have anywhere else to go. So, he clitched himself tighter, and scanned the others for a moment before he stuck his hands in his pockets and walked off down the path. It's not like there was a way out. All he could do was walk the path and hope for the best.

It was all he could do, to stay calm, after all.

March of the Kaiju IC Empty

Elucid stopped screaming moments later and opened his eyes to find more darkness. He was laying on the ground, unable to see anything but a path, yet there was no light. He felt the urge to follow the path that wasn't there, and he slowly got up. Once on his feet, he began to walk towards the path. he began to shiver, as if chilled by a cold wind. He clutched his robe, and suddenly wished that he was wearing something thicker. He looked at his phone, but it was black and wouldn't turn on. He began to breathe heavily, as if he had been running for a long time. But he continued to walk down the path, shivering from the shock of being transported to an alien realm. He began to whimper, yet he continued to walk down the path, though he wasn't sure why.

(I mean, come on! They should be going into shock)

Heather at first felt fine, but as she began to walk on the path, she started to feel extremely nervous. She had no clue what was at the end of this path, for all she knew, she could be walking towards something that would get her killed, but then again, she might just keep walking for all eternity, and this road might never end, it could just sprawl on forever. Upon that thought, her heart sped up, and she started to sweat. However, she wouldn't allow herself to be crippled by it now. She started to hop a bit as she walked, and dug her nails into her palms. She also bit her lip hard enough to tear the skin, and she tasted blood. It hurt, but at least the pain gave her some sort of sense of reality, like she was really there. It was also because she was sure that if she didn't, she would start to scream as though she were mad. She wasn't insane, she wasn't the only person who had seen that light.

Blake wondered if something wasn't going wrong with him. If he had been calm earlier, it must have been because his response to stress was delayed. He felt like he was watching another person, like the person who was looking through his eyes wasn't him. He couldn't think as clearly, and he felt like he was moving through a daze. He was conscious, however, of moving forward, along the path. He now felt a strange combination of calm, and despair, but what could he do? He couldn't stay here forever.

Cameron

"Oh sh*t!" Cameron screamed in a rather unwanted high-pitched voice. The light blinded him just like everyone else and he had no idea what had occurred. Other than the light flashed. He had fully expected it to do it's business and they'd be over it... he wanted to go home now. Unfortunately he was far away from home. When the light faded he realized that he was in another world. He had... zero idea what happened. The only thing he did was look around frantically. While he wanted to appear to be that cool and level-headed member of the group he was failing hard. He wrapped his hands around the top of his head and screamed like a big hearty man for almost thirty seconds straight. After he ran out of breath he drops to his knees and both hands were touching the ground palms out. His spit dropped out of his mouth on to the non-existent floors as he loudly panted. He stood there as the group made their way forward. "Where am I?" He repeated quietly.

The group who were actually in route down the path started to see a silhouette of something far in the distance. It appeared to be a high tower with two squares at the very base. It was hard to make out but as they got closer the fog got thicker and the darkness that surrounded them got brighter and brighter until it was lavender.

As Heather arrived at the tower, she could only stop and stare at it. Was it a lighthouse, or something? For some reason the darkness around her had gotten really bright. It was so confusing, she was getting a headache, both from the confusion and stress of it all, along with the fact that so much bright color was actually starting to hurt her eyes a little, or maybe it was because she had skipped breakfast this morning, or both. She didn't really know how to react, or why she would wind up here. She bit her lip harder, and winced. She was going to really hurt herself if she didn't figure out what all of this meant.

Blake reached the tower, and was unsure exactly if he was imagining it, or if he was really there. Nothing really made sense here, and he felt extremely odd, as though he weren't even in his own body, and were actually floating outside of it, like there were two of him. But then again, now that he had stopped shuffling in this direction, and had gotten to the end of the path, he realized in some part of his mind that he wasn't thinking clearly. His mind couldn't handle it, and so he looked up at the tower, trying to figure out what it was.

Felix caught up slowly. Each step was heavy and his feet felt as though they were lead. He was getting scared. Color was nearly drained from his skin as it was paler than usual. He came to the tower and fell against it. His arm acting as a cusion for his head against the tower wall. He stayed in this position for a few moments before turning to his back and slidin down to a sitting position.

He felt sick, nauseous. Like he was going to throw up. He wouldn't be able to make it up the tower. Not now, not yet. He just needed to rest for a little bit, digest everything that's happened. Just until the others showed up.
