Unless you invented Webster's Dictionary, I'm not thoroughly convinced.

If we're going to use the Bible as an example, it also says you shouldn't swear, or use foul language.

And what would inventing a dictionary have to do with inventing swear words?
Dictionaries do not determine the meaning of words; they are merely books in which definitions are found... Definitions that have been known to humanity for hundreds of years.

Language evolves over time. A word's meaning can change, due to the ever-changing mental state of humans.
Fascinating race we are...Psychology is fun to study.

I must admit, reading the dictionary is interesting. :3 Never know what you're gonna find.

In a sense, humans are living dictionaries.

Language is how you treat it. So far, the only people I've come across that thinks "damn" a dirty word usually under the age of fifteen, and thus a minority.

As for rain...
I love rain. It makes the whole town smell good.

I heard that somewhere, for some reason, it rained frogs.

Oh yes I heard that too.

I think what happened is that a hurricane blew through and picked up a lot of the local wildlife, such as frogs. When the storm finally blew itself out, the frogs came plummeting from the sky.

Sounds far-fetched to me, but that's what I heard.
