Greetings. If you are reading this, then I am probably dead. Your world is in danger, no matter which world you are from. Your people are on the edge of extinction, and you don't even know it. There is a virus in the universe; a virus that is silently destroying all life. My people have been destroyed by this virus, and I will not allow it to happen to any other race. Whoever you are, wherever you are, you are about to go on the adventure of your life, for they are coming for a new race; the Human Race. When you finish reading this letter, you will be transported to this world with one goal; to stop this virus once and for all before it becomes so powerful that we can no longer stop it. It will not be an easy task. Some of the people reading this message will die, and others may face things much worse than death. Whoever is reading this right now, know that you are about to become a hero to the entire universe, and to every other universe out there in the endless abyss of space. Because others could not, you must now become the defenders of our worlds.

My name is Altris Shraze, the last of the Thanatan Knights, and this is my legacy. No longer shall any race perish under the tyranny of the Mimic.

New Washington, Mars. August 24th, 2154

Dr.Michael Kramer of the Martian Department of Defense was walking into his house after a long, arduous day of work when all of a sudden, he heard a strange noise coming from his second floor. His hand flew to the pistol clipped to his belt (a force of habit when nine terrorist cells want you dead), and he slowly ascended the stairs, trying to muffle his steps as much as possible despite his rather creaky wooden staircase. When Michael arrived at the top, he heard the noise again; it sounded sort of like an electric shock, mixed with the noise from a mosquito machine, almost like the sound magnetism would have if it made a sound. He drew the .9mm pistol from his belt and held it waist-level as he looked around the corner and into the open door of his bedroom. Silence.

"Um, honey, are you okay?" he yelled out, the pistol now risen to eye level. Silence again, and then that same magnetic noise. Something was very, very wrong. Michael slowly crept into the bedroom, his pistol at the ready and his white lab coat streaming behind him like a cape. He looked into the room, and froze when he saw the broken form of his wife laying in bed, her eyes frozen in eternal fear and her skin cold as ice. He gasped, and ran towards the bedside.

"Oh my God," he muttered, trembling as he fell to his knees "Cheryl!" He frantically grabbed his wife's cold hand, and felt he wrist for a pulse. Nothing; his wife was completely, 100% dead. He let out a cry of agony as it sunk in that his wife had died alone in her bed. He stood from the bedside, gun in hand, trembling as he heard the noise again, coming from the bathroom. Michael rose the gun to eye level, and started to walk towards the door.

"I don't know who the f*ck you are!" he screamed "But I am going to kill you!" The door opened, and Cheryl walked out, wearing the same dress as she was wearing on the bed, dead. Michael froze in his tracks, his eyes wide with fear. The gun slowly lowered to hip level. His eyes slowly scanned between the dead Cheryl in the bed, and the living Cheryl standing in front of him. Except it wasn't Cheryl. Something was off, something only someone who had been married to the person in question for five years could tell.

"Is everything alright, my love?" The living Cheryl said, looking perfectly calm. Michael stood there, his mouth agape as she spoke.

"What the Hell is going on Cher?" Michael cried out, jumping back and hitting his hand against the mirror atop the makeup table behind him. It shattered on impact, cutting Michael's palm and causing drops of crimson blood to drip down onto the framed picture of their wedding photo which sat atop the table. The living Cheryl looked over at the dead Cheryl, and sighed.

"Oh, it seems as if you have come at a bad time." Cheryl said, her voice suddenly becoming rather robotic "Oh well. I will have to convert you early." The living Cheryl's eyes lit up white, and the magnetic noise from before echoed through the room loudly as her right hand rose from her side to point at Michael's chest. Her hand turned white all of a sudden, and transformed itself into a sea of quadrilateral polygons, all pearl white. The shapes arranged themselves into the shape of a long, futuristic weapon. Michael rose the .9mm and fired at the living Cheryl as the gun's barrel lit up blue. The bullets were about as useful as a peashooter on the wife who wasn't his wife, and the gun lit up brighter. He screamed, and an explosion rocked the house. Michael Kramer flew backwards and crashed into the makeup table, dead. The table collapsed, and the makeup all over it showered down onto Michael's dead body, covering it in an assortment of rainbow hues. The framed wedding picture, still stained with blood, was the last thing to hit the floor. It bounced once as its bottom right corner collided with the floor, and then laid still face-down, the glass shattered.

Hey guys. Maxx here, with a new rp for y'all. I decided to create this roleplay after Color was destroyed. It seemed like we had a lot of really cool characters on there that really didn't have a chance to shine. Plus, I remember having several conversations with people about making a multiverse rp, so here one is. This rp is basically about a ragtag team of characters from every universe coming together to protect Earth from the deadliest plague to ever threaten the galaxy; the Mimic. The Mimic are a race of shapeshifting robots, held together by an extremely powerful magnetic frequency. The Mimic have the ability to transform themselves to appear as any creature in existence. They are very hard to kill, and have the ability to upgrade themselves to withstand any attack. They are learning robots, always trying new creative ways to destroy anyone who oppose them. Whenever one Mimic is destroyed by an attack, it sends a message to all other Mimics detailing exactly how it died so that the others can upgrade themselves to be immune to that attack (basically, the more Mimic you kill, the harder they are to kill).


Rules
1. No magic. This rp is science fiction, not fantasy
2. Because of this, any and all powers your character might have must be realistic and must be more or less scientifically explained (Ie, "Billy's a magician so he has super strength" is wrong here, but "Billy is from an alien race who live on a planet with a higher level of gravity so he's much stronger than the average human" is.)
3. this is a literate rp. every post must be at least one paragraph (that means five sentences at least).
4. I'm going to allow some really powerful characters, but your characters always needs a weakness (if you do not supply a weakness, Godmod will).
5. put "flesh" in the other section of your sheet if you read the rules.
6. I don't really care about cursing, but keep romance to a minimum. No sex.
7. All characters must be original. Don't just steal something from your favorite video game and call it a day.
8. No autokilling (or even autodamaging) Mimics. Treat all the Mimics like PCs (that is, when they're attacking)
9. All characters will wake up in a white room which I will describe in the first post.
10. Don't spam/troll/any of that crap. Act like you know how to use a computer.
11. Your character can technically be aligned with the Mimic, but only after the RP begins and only with my permission. I won't accept a lot of double agents.

Appearance: Q is a tall, stately-looking man, about 5’11” and weighing around 170 pounds. He is thin with wiry muscle and is rather barrel chested, giving him a tough-looking posture, like he’s always trying to look manly. Q has a chiseled face with a bit of a cleft chin and black hair kept in a buzz cut. His eyes are [CLASSIFIED], and are always covered in a pair of black sunglasses to keep this classified. Q dresses in a government-issued black suit, though is known for wearing a black fedora atop his head. Any other information you want to know about Mr.Q is probably classified.

Appearance: 420 resembles Neo from The Matrix some. He is a tall man, about 6’1”, and weighing around 180 lbs. He is muscular, but in no way buff, having thin wiry muscles. He has very dark brown hair that is always combed back in a very professional way, and is slightly babyfaced, having slightly puffy cheeks and a cleft chin. His face is occasionally sprinkled with some five-o-clock shadow (like all good spies). 420’s eyes are a curious feature, as their irises are a very unnatural shade of bright amber, which is why 420 often wears a pair of black Oakleys (that and to mimic his childhood hero Neo). 420 dresses very professionally, usually wearing a black suit with a black long coat instead of a suit jacket. On 420’s right ear is a dark grey bluetooth which (if you look very closely) has a gold S on it. On his right ring finger is a gold wedding band. This will come into play later.

personality: 420 is a rather difficult-to-get-along-with individual, similar to Sherlock Holmes. He seems to stay surprisingly calm at most times (though isn't actually a sociopath), and often logics his way through things so much that he hurts people's feelings. He seems to have a soft spot for women, and won't hurt them. He shares a similar soft spot for children, especially scared children, and will not commit acts of violence in front of them unless he is REALLY mad. He can be rather lazy at times, and will often send other people to do things for him because "he doesn't have the time". Basically, he's a logical guy who is secretly humane, almost a cross between the McCoy personality stereotype and the Spock.

abilities: 420, being a former agent of Saybre-Tech, has a neurochip embedded in his brain that allows him to hack electronics. By simply thinking about it, 420 can take over pretty much any electronic device save the Mimic, and can also cause irritating telepathic brain waves that cause biological organisms to get headaches and lose focus easily. In edition to that, 420 is an extremely intelligent individual and a genius hacker. No firewall stands in his way at any time, and he can outthink most enemies, making him a useful ally when combating the Mimic. When he gets extremely angry, 420 can go into a mode known as the Beta Mode. During the Beta Mode, 420’s sense of human restraint and weakness to pain both diminish, tripling his strength and making him extremely tolerant to pain, as well as increasing his speed quite a bit.

weaknesses: Firstly, large amounts of head trauma or Electromagnetic radiation (EMPs) cause 420 to, in a sense, shut down. He falls into a temporary coma until special nanobots that live in the neurochip can repair any damage done to his brain. During this period of time, 420 is completely useless. Also, because he is so intelligent, 420 can often be out-dumbed, as he expects his enemies to be clever. Thirdly, 420 cannot hack the Mimic because they are filled with computer viruses (the viruses can’t infect the Mimic, so they use them as a defense mechanism against hackers).

weapons: 420 has quite a few gadgets that he’s kept around since his Saybre days. The most prominent one is his Oakleys, which are actually a kind of HUD (heads-up display) which he can control with his mind, similar to Google Glass. The Oakleys have a rear-view camera, an internet router allowing him to telepathically surf the web, the ability to read texts, a camera, a rocking MP3 player, night vision, and thermal vision, allowing him to see through walls. Secondly is 420’s wedding band. The ring is actually a holding area for 420’s nanobots (he isn’t actually married). 420 can telepathically control these bots to attack enemies and give him limited telekinesis, allowing him to move objects with them. Incase that doesn’t work, though, 420 always carries a Glock 45 modified to use Shredder Rounds (super-heated titanium dioxide bullet coated in a layer of 3,000 degree silicon, able to burn through pretty much anything).

Appearance: He looks like this. height: 5’7”, weight: 150 lbs. Myre is covered in blue fur in everywhere but his face and hands, and his skin is very dark, almost Italian-looking.

personality: Myre Is your classic spy; he’s charming, daring, intrepid, witty, and can come up with a wisecrack in seconds. Myre often makes jokes and pokes fun at things while on the job, but he’s no clown. Myre is a professional; he’s cunning, observant, and deadly, even if he is a bit too gregarious at times. He is a man who gets the job done no matter what the cost, and he always gets results. He has a rather short fuse, however, and can easily be angered into doing some stupid stuff. Myre is a relatively smart man, but is most well-known in the NER for his attention to detail, reading of body language, and common sense. He is very good at assuming what you’re about to say or what a villain is about to do, and he never misses when something’s off. In a way, Agent Myre is the second half of Exo’s brain. Exo has book smarts; Myre has street smarts. He’s been in espionage and the police force for seven years, and was in the military for four years before that, where he served as a black ops member of the Force (the Lumien Navy SEALs). Because of his military stint; Myre doesn’t have a problem killing people and is mentally tough. He has seen his comrades dragged to their knees and shot through the head in front of him and not flinched. Because of this, Myre can be particularly violent when he is cornered or when his friends’ lives are at stake.

abilities: Lumiens have a few different abilities that they adapted due to their homeworld having a rather inconsistent climate. Firstly, Lumien bones are twice as strong as human bones, and are extremely difficult to break. Secondly, Lumiens have an extra organ in their back that is called the salt gland. It controls the diffusion of different salts into the bloodstream, allowing Myre to flush his blood with salt to keep it from freezing or boiling. This allows him to survive extremely hot or extremely cold climates with relative ease.

weaknesses: There’s not really much to put here. Besides his bone structure, Myre is just as frail as any human. if you shoot him, he dies. Of course, he has a ton of gadgets to make it very hard for you to do that, but in theory he’s just as easy to kill as any human.

weapons: Myre has several fun gadgets that he uses which make him an excellent combatant. Firstly, there’s his Vacuum Ray. The vacuum ray resembles a black hair dryer with a pistol grip and a toggle switch on the back. The gun is covered in billions of very powerful valves which when activated in the “suck” setting rapidly vacuum all of the air out of the gun, causing an extremely powerful vacuum effect. This allows Myre to suck low-calibur bullets out of the air or grab small objects from far away. The “blow” setting on the gun has the reverse effect, and causes the gun to blast whatever objects it sucked up at the speed of sound. Secondly, Myre has his Helios Boots. Helios boots are rocket boots which when activated allow him to jump three times his usual jump height (so he can jump about 30 feet in the air). The shoes are powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, and have an extremely powerful shock absorber in the sole to keep Myre’s legs from breaking when he hits the ground (I haven’t researched enough to figure out exactly what the shock absorber is. stay tuned). Thirdly, Myre carries a pair of silence .44 magnums with him which have the same shock absorbers as the shoes to make them easier to fire and fire shredder rounds. Finally, there’s Athena. Athena is Myre’s AI (she gets a separate sheet later). She has been synched into what looks like a small hearing aid in Myre’s right ear, and can research things for him, as well as survey the terrain around him to see where enemies are.

species: Artificial Intelligence

Appearance: Technically, Athena is a white bluetooth-like object in Myre’s right ear. The object resembles a hearing aid crossed with a Bluetooth, and is grey with the letters IGIA on it in silver. However, that is not all that Athena is. She has her own “body” which appears whenever she is plugged into any electronic device with a hologram projector or appears in a window on a HUD (like Cortana in Halo). Athena appears as a female human, her height indeterminable due to her electronic existence and her weight nothing, of course. She has a slim, attractive build, and could be considered curvy by human standards. Her skin is a mint green color when she appears on holograms. Her hair is that same green color and falls down to about halfway down her back. Her face is rather modern-looking, with darkness under her eyes and soft, rounded features. Athena wears a long flowing strapless dress in her hologram form that is the same color as the rest of her.

personality: Athena is an interesting personality. She is a relatively amiable being for a military AI, and is often very kind and courteous to people, though can easily be offended. She’s a rather passive individual, and seems to easily shut down and give in to demands. She hates arguing more than anything. Another hatred of Athena is that she’s a robot. You see, Athena was made so well that she’s like a normal human trapped in a robot’s body, causing her to often become depressed as she doesn’t have a life of her own to live. Athena wants more than anything to just be able to experience the world outside of a bluetooth or a hologram projector. She is an incredibly smart girl, and loves to learn, also torturing her because she cannot touch anything. She only know cold from hot by temperature readings. In addition, there was a slight... flaw in Athena’s design. You see, because she has feelings, she has the ability to develop attraction towards others (ie, love). Somewhere along the way, she fell in love with Myre. Of course, if she ever told anyone that she’d be decommissioned, but she still does and because of that would do anything for him.

abilities: Being a machine, Athena has a few abilities that allow her to make Myre the espionage master that he is. Firstly, Athena can intercept and decode any radio message from pretty much everywhere so long as it’s on the same planet as she is. Athena can connect to the internet to perform web searches, access the IGIA database, take control of electronics within a twenty foot radius of her, and can access recon satellites to survey the terrain around Myre and the gang. Because of her ability to use satellites, Athena can communicate with anyone on Earth or the Moon.

weaknesses: Well, technically Athena is more or less useless without an operator. She doesn’t have her own body, and is technically just a computer program. Though she is slightly EMP-proof (it makes her personality matrix cause her to temporarily act like she has a migraine), waterproof, and heatproof up to 7,000 degrees (hotter than a nuclear explosion), it is vaguely possible to hack Athena given the right amount of training (it is NOT easy).

weapons: You cannot have weapons when you have no body.

Personality: Exo is what one might call a pessimistic optimist and an introverted extrovert as well as an analytical genius with a PHD in the art of being an annoying git. This basically means that it finds it humorous to put a negative or sarcastic spin on normally positive things and makes often cliché jokes about stuff that's supposed to be deadly serious. Its also got a nasty tendency to complain about anything that's even slightly annoying to it. Such as sitting somewhere with nothing to do longer than 5 and 1/2 seconds. Or if someone is being ignorant or otherwise stupid or disinteresting you can expect to be griped at until Myre yells at it to shut up, in which case it'll start griping at him instead.

Probably the worst of its extroverted behaviors is its obsession with experiments. It doesn't matter what experiment, where that kind of experiment is supposed to be conducted, or even how its supposed to be conducted. If it says in bold print, 'FOR LABORATORY USE ONLY' you can expect to see whatever it is being used anywhere and everywhere with no regard whatsoever to things like SAFETY and COMMON SENSE. As a result, Exo's house looks more like a weapons testing facility crossed with a laboratory filled with anything from dangerous chemicals to biohazardous materials/cultures. And then we've got the part where its actually a time machine which isn't perfect and glitches a lot in rather dangerous ways. Which is why its really good thing Exo is regenerative, because if it wasn't it would have inadvertently killed itself a long long time ago without any help from any antagonistic force.

However, the fact that it knows it can survive most of its highly dangerous experiments if they go wrong, basically means that if you try to explain even the most basic form of common sense to it, you might as well be speaking another language. As a result, it tends to put other people at risk by simply being in the same room as them, because you never know what new thing its been dying to test. Does that mean it will intentionally put chemicals in your drinks? yes. Does it mean it will do something like throw a cup that says 'Best Boss in the World' across the room and yell “LIAR! YOU JUST WANT TO BE PROMOTED TO A HOT CHOCOLATE MUG! YOU MANIPULATIVE LITTLE GIT!” just to see what everyone in the area would do? yes. Does it mean that its likely to test some new weapon it created (which may or may not violently explode/spray acid/turn into a singularity/spew poison gas) the second things get disinteresting? yes. Does it mean that it will do pointless 'experiments' like drawing faces on melons and putting them in someone else's microwave so they explode and break the microwave, or throw objects out windows so they break into a million different pieces? Yes, and it's not always limited to just inanimate/non organic objects.

Basically, it treats the universe(s) like a gigantic contained experiment(s).

Thats the extroverted part.

The introverted part ties into its analytical nature as well as its freakish inability to fully trust anyone. Its not so much that it doesn't trust that your on its side, more that its convinced itself that your judgement is flawed. This especially goes for Myre, who has an annoying tendency to lose his focus around women. As a result, it treats everyone like they're on a need to know basis when it comes to its plans and observations. It does a good job of hiding this though through excessive use of sarcastic humor and often nigh indecipherable overly scientific or symbolic explanations, or stupid 'experiments'. Which is just as, if not more, irritating than knowing that it will never fully trust you, or anyone or anything.

This also gives the illusion that it finds it funny to lie to people and withhold critical evidence. Which it uses to further hide the fact that it simply doesn't trust anyone but itself, and even that bit of its certifiable Godcomplex isn't free from frequent scrutiny. Basically, its annoying extroverted side is its tinfoil hat that prevents the aliens from taking over its mind.

All this paranoia and deviously devised hide buttons (Or some might call them coping mechanisms) are self inflicted because it honestly believes that having emotions clouds judgement, and that the only way to maintain its obsessive compulsive attention to detail, and how to never ever ever be wrong, is to not have any. As a result, it thinks of itself as some kind of Spock who intentionally displays a set of ridiculous emotions and tendencies to make its 'true intentions' imperceptible. Which, is hypocritical because it most certainly does have emotions, but all of its coping mechanisms are tailored to hide them from itself in plain sight. Not purge itself of them. As a result, it actually lies to itself more than it does to everyone else.

Abilities: Regeneration, using the same techniques as the sea creatures Hydras and the aquatic salamanders Axolotls except drastically accelerated. This is possible because an Acirian's cells are entirely metamorphic and never enter a set state which means they're basically made of cancer. The only reason the cells stop dividing is because of something called a kamikaze motor protean which is basically a cell kill code. Except instead of simply killing the cell it causes it to revert to all the basic components that make up a cell and enter the blood stream and form blobs of undeveloped stem-cell material called blastema that can be turned into any kind of cell when given a DNA code to conform to. How an Acirian keeps from getting bigger and bigger because its cells keep copying themselves and forming blastema is because each cell contains only one DNA code to follow and will only release that DNA when that cell is destroyed so only one blastema 'cell' can receive that code and replace the dead cell which will be reverted into blastema.

How an Acirian doesn't slowly decrease in size because of this is due to the fact that their nervous system is completely different than almost all other creatures. Where a humans have motor neurons connected to bunches of tissue Acirians have a smaller version of those neurons that act as a extremely sensitive weight sensor or equilibrium. So if a few cells are missing somewhere and cannot send out their DNA codes the loss detection neurons will tell the surrounding cells to produce the DNA codes for the exact number of missing cells. This means that if you cut off an large enough section of an Acirian it will start converting itself into blastema and then convert that into a blob of the neuro tissue which will basically take in any nutrients around it and form more and more cells until it eventually creates a exact clone of the original Acirian. Well, not exactly exact, the neuro tissue will deviate slightly from the original module and allow for a slightly different Acirian.

Also, this has nothing to due with regeneration, but an Acirian's brain is not isolated to their skull. They have brain tissue capable of storing memories all throughout their bodies so when a section of them is damaged they can temporarily suffer symptoms of brain damage and can experience memory loss. However, if there is enough of that tissue damaged and it forms another Acirian that Acirian will have all the memories the original Acirian is missing. This is because if you can live for pretty much all eternity and only die when you are killed and that's extremely hard to do, you're going to run out of brain space around the 3rd century. So, yes, while attic theory is absurd when you're not at least semi autistic or have severe aspergers syndrome so you have 20% more neurons in you're prefrontal cortex and the same amount of memory space as every other human on the planet, its completely necessary if you live long enough that eventually you run out of space and start suffering from short term memory loss. So, since Acirian's would easily run into that problem they were created with extra memory space so they only suffer the affects of short term memory loss if they live for more than 3 thousand years. So, yes, Acirians do tend to limit what they learn after a certain point or start saving memories to a external system like a hard drive.

Weaknesses: High potential for memory loss, can be killed with a overdose of kamikaze proteins and several other toxic substances that attack the nervous system. Its just going to take a lot more of that then it would for other creatures. Exo can also be 'out dumbed' as Maxx put it on one of his character sheets, but you're going to have to try pretty hard and it will probably be a kamikaze move on your part.

Personality: Well, she is a 7 year old little girl, so she has all the usual interests; Cake, ice cream, burps, farts, dinosaurs, toads, bugs, mud, dismembered poly pockets and hide and seek. However, if Enomily was just your standard little girl she wouldn't be in this RP. She is like 420 in that she has a surgically implanted neural chip that allows her to communicate with any electronic mentally as long as that electronic is hooked up to the internet. As a result, she is an extremely well learned 7 year old because she can have google up and running in her brain pretty much at all times. This means that while she is often aloof and silly like most children, she can deduce what you're thinking from you facial expression, do a image match search on the internet for that particular kind of ink on your forefinger and find where its manufactured, its chemical make up and all the places its been sold to within the last 4 months. She can also access classified information on anything, because she can hack into that NSA database using all the techniques on the internet simultaneously. So, in a way, she is smarter than Exo. Her chip is different however in that it is somehow fully EMP proof even though that technology doesn't exist. This is because her [Data Redacted] is really [Data Redacted] and she [Data Redacted] Which means that if you were to [Data Redacted]. She is really [Data Redacted] and if she were to [Data Redacted] it would cause all the [Data Redacted] so in short [Data Redacted].

Abilities: Enomily can hack into any electronic devise connected to the internet anywhere near here before you can say 'Trojan Virus!' Aside from that, she has the ability to electrocute people by touching them if she chooses, because of the [Data Redacted] they did when she was [Data Redacted] and is extremely strong for her small size due to muscle adaptations of her species that differ from the muscle structure of our own. This is similar to the muscle fibers that are missing in humans and present in chimps that makes them up to 3-5 times stronger. As a result, Enomily's arms are a bit longer and thicker than a humans. So, even though she's a little girl, she could break your arms and legs if you took her lollypop at the wrong time.

Weaknesses: She's a little girl. You shoot her in the head she's probably going to die. That doesn't take a genius to figure out.

Weapons: Again, she's a little kid. She only has two concealed blades, two concealed .45 magnum shredder pistols. Not any of you're fancy sci-fy gizmos that could poke your eye out.

Name: Ketryn 5273 (she’s just called Ketryn, though)

Age: 24 in human years

Gender: female

Species: Yarksonian

Appearance: Yarksonians have a large resemblance to humans. The only noticeable differences are that their skin never really tan unless revealed to an unusually large amount of sunlight and they are usually considered tall compared to average human beings. There are also different genetic colors for their eyes. Other than that, there’s no noticeable difference. Ketryn has an average-looking Yarksonian body at first glance. She is a little bit on the short side for her species at 6’0” and weighs around 342 lbs. (though she appears to be average weight for anyone, and this shall be explained later) Pale skin. She has common strait black hair that extends a little bit past her shoulders and has the most average Yarksonain eye color: orange. However, there are some noticeable, non-Yarksonian features that can be seen on Ketryn. There is a thing, glowing blue line that can be faintly seen that runs from right about where Ketryn’s left ear is attached to the skull to the middle of her forehead. There is also an alike line that runs from the top of her shoulder to the center of her chest.
Ketryn’s style of clothing is normal for both humans and Yarksonians. She usually just wears a light blue button down shirt (though it is usually unbuttoned) with a black tank top underneath. Katryn also wears some boot cut jeans with a pair of sandals.

Personality: A part of Ketryn’s emotional system was once damaged to make it where she can’t really react in a proper way to situations. Katryn usually seems emotionless unless it is the feeling of anger or fear- those are the only two feelings that she can properly communicate. Katryn feels all the other feelings a normal human or yarksonian feels, she just fails to communicate them. Whenever she feels happy or sad, her face is just expressionless. Katryn usually sees the logical side of things and anything she finds completely useless she prefers to avoid. However, she is very caring and kind, though it’s hard to tell this since the only expressions that she can be seen with are anger and fear.

Abilities (and her back-story… more or less): There are reasons behind Katryn’s strange differences compared to the rest of her kind and her thalamus being damaged. The Yarksonians are really a lot like an advanced form of the human civilization. Their technology is far more advanced, and so this is where Katryn’s story comes in.
The yarksonians were looking for ways to strengthen themselves, increase their life span, and avoid disease a lot more easily. (Being such an old civilization, there is a large population on the planet and disease easily spreads) Being so bent on technology, they eventually thought of a possible way to do so- place the human mind into an artificial life form. Many failures were made in this project and many lost their lives, but eventually they had a successful transformation- Katryn 5273. Her original name was Katryn, just an everyday female yarksonian, but her new body form was the 5,723 model made. It looked just like a normal Yarksonian- from the eyes to the hands, it even felt like a yarksonian (their skin feels like human skin, btw)- the only differences was the weight of her body since she is mostly metal on the inside along with the glowing blue lines on the forehead and on the chest. You see, these markings were how they opened up the areas for Katryn’s brain and heart.
One of the reasons that scientists kept failing the transformation from normal life form to partial robot was that they couldn’t keep the brain from going dead due to the lack of a heart to pump air. Even if the brain were still receiving energy from an outside force, such as a form of highly advanced electric charges, it would still go dead because it wouldn’t read a heart. It is almost like the power of suggestion being played on the mind- the heart is dead, so I must be dead *dies*. So the scientists working on Katryn’s body kept the heart connected, and made it to where highly advanced pulses were being sent to both, telling both the mind and heart the other was alive and to keep going. In the movement from the normal body to the artificial body, however, there was a part of the artificial body that had a glitch and couldn’t perceive many emotions. So that explains her personaility
Okay, now that I’ve explained how Katryn came to be, I’ll FINALLY explain her abilities XD
Katryn’s artificial, robotic body (which I’m going to go ahead and say is EMP and water proof) has several advancements that a normal Yarksonian body doesn’t (and a yarksonian body is just like a human being’s) the robotic body gives her a stronger immune system, since is makes the only two possible things that can be harmed by bacteria nearly untouchable. Also Katryn doesn’t age. Actually, she has been 24 for two years. Katryn has above average strength, sight, and hearing. She also has a large tolerance for pain, since the only parts of her that feel pain are the mind and the heart. Another advancement in Katryn’s system is that with her eyesight there is also a targeting system connected to her brain that helps her with targeting objects. No, this does not mean she has perfect aim. Her aiming is above average, however.

Weaknesses: Being mostly metal, Katrryn has a different way of getting energy aside from food, and that’s from electricity! *derp* Every twenty four hours Katryn must be plugged into some sort of electrical outlet or receive some form of electricity for eight hours or else her system will go into standby, only focusing on giving the heart and mind energy and not allowing her body to move at all until she receives some electricity. Also Katryn’s body is extremely vulnerable to really high or low temperatures. Strong amounts of heat or a large lack of heat can greatly harm her circuitry and first cause glitches such as flinching and mispronunciation of words, then sudden, quick shut downs, and eventually death. Katryn can be killed just like anyone else, as well. The only diffenece is that getting a bullet or knife into her make be harder with her insides being mostly metal. Her skin feels human, er, yarksonian, though XD All that needs to happen is a few snips of the wire and then she is dead.

Personality: Jenny is a good natured operative that carries herself with dignity and grace. She takes pride in her work, and prefers to let her actions speak for her. Jenny is a strong practitioner of teamwork, but would rather go solo that deal with an arrogant squad member. She is cool and collected in the face of danger, and not afraid to take risks for the greater good. It is because of her sacrifices in the past that she had to replace her body with synthetics.

Abilities:
Armored stealth suit (uses meta materials to bend light around the user rendering them invisble, also sheds radar, and features anti-grav jets)
Tungsten skeleton (Jenny's skeleton is made of hyper condensed tunsten)
Shock absorbers (massive shock absorbers are built into the legs to withstand falls from immense heights)
Augmented vision (infrared and telescopic)
Magnetic grip (electromagnets in hands and feet for scaling metal surfaces)
Cyber brain (can send and receive information and communications with her brain, this includes uploading herself into the net or friendly machines, features a strong firewall)
Neuro hacking (the ability to use her augmented brain to hack things, this requires a direct connection)
Targeting computer (compensates for environmental conditions and gravity, making her a crack shot)
Voice modulator (allows the user to change their voice at will)
Synthetic body (grants inhuman strength, improved reaction time, heightened senses, immunity to the vacuum of space, and insulation against temperature and electricity)

Weaknesses: The suits meta materials are easily damaged, which renders its cloak inoperable. Jenny's metal skeleton and synthetic flesh do not heal on their own. An electromagnetic pulse will fry her guns. While being insulated extreme cold will freeze her fluids, extreme heat damages her synthetic tissue, and large quantities of electricity mess up her systems and make her artificial muscles twitch erratically. Lastly her hacking works two ways leaving her vulnerable to being hacked herself.

Weapons:
Vibroblade ( hyper compressed tungsten katana with a simple, but powerful motor that vibrates at ultra sonic speed, making even the slightest touch devastating)
Metal storm hand cannon (a large, burst capable handgun that uses plastic explosive in its bullets. Jenny utilizes many ammo types including: explosive, tracker, high velocity, disruptor, cryo, armor piercing, and flechette)
Mass driver (rifle that fires electromagnetically propelled slugs, it has too much kickback for an ordinary human)

Name: Kraid

Age: 5 years

Gender: masculine

Species: biomechanical entity

Appearance: Kraid stands 7 feet tall. It is also heavily armored, and streamlined to deflect energy, bullets, and explosions, as well as allowing it to run fast with minimal air interference.

Personality: Kriad, being a synthetic organism, usually displays a calm and calculating exterior. It can be in the most dangerous situation and still seem calm and composed. When it is not aggressive, it usually also has a curious air about it.

Abilities:
Kraid features a conversion/construction core inside its body that allows it to consume materials and use them for repair, fuel, or making small parts using molecular/nano technology. The healing ability is also augmented by engineered biological cells. It also has energy vents on its wrists, back, and in its mouth which allow it to vent excess energy. Kraid also possesses a magnetic/adhesive grip system on its hands and feet which allow it to climb surfaces. It is immune to disease, and its armor can withstand up to 10,000 degrees Fahrenheight, as well as being very hard enough to withstand large amounts of trauma. Kraid has extensive detection systems which allow it to detect infrared, visible light, and gamma radiation, as well as zoom and take pictures. It also can use gamma imaging similar to x-rays, which allow it to see through walls. It also contains sensitive audio and olfactory sensors. It utilizes a combination of electromagnetic drivers and hydraulics to give it immense strength and speed. Do not try to hack it.

Weaponry:
Kriad can use its energy ports to release 9,940.73 degree plasma for use as a flamethrower (also gives it ability to fly). It also sports a magnetic-hydrodynamic weapon which uses electromagnets to fire nano-sized liquid tungsten particles (can use other paramagnetic metals as well) at Mach 25 in a continuous beam at a target, fired from its mouth. Kraid also can use its claws and teeth. It is also is capable of picking up nearly any handheld weapon and using it with some proficiency, especially guns.

Weaknesses: Because of it being biomechanical, Kriad is partially vulnerable to EMP, giving it an unpleasant shock as well as temporarily neutralizing its healing ability. It is also a learning unit, so an accomplished shapeshifter can deceive it if they get the details covered. The magnetic-hydrodynamic weapon takes ammunition occasionally, and while the exterior armor can withstand high temperatures, the interior cannot so Kraid cannot do stuff like swim in lava or anything.

Name: Roe
Age: Twelve
Gender: Female
Species: Faun (Picture the creature with the lower half of a goat or equine and the top half of a human, much like a centaur without the second set of legs. One example of a Faun is Mr Tumnus from the Narnia series.)

Appearance: (I based her looks off of thislovely drawing which I do not own)

In Roe’s case her bottom half resembles that of a common forest deer. The thick fur that covers her legs and hips is a light chocolaty brown color with groups of white speckles thrown about. A small tail peeks out of her back right above her hips. Roe lacks feet but instead has two hard black hooves, which she takes great pride in keeping clean. However since her arms are considered above her waist her hands are normal five fingered hands. Her hands are much dirtier then her hooves, dirt trapped under her nails and caking on her palms. Baths are not common acts to Roe so it’s not a surprise that the rest of her human part of her body is similarly dirty. More material things like jewelry and makeup are also uncommon on a Faun unless being used for symbolic or religious practices.

The top half of Roe is rather tanned under the dirt along with lean and muscular. Her skin is marked with white freckle like markings that closely resemble the white fur on her legs. Roe has thick, under groomed, light brown eyebrows that are often covered by the bangs of her equally under groomed hair. On special occasions Roe would tie her long hair up into braids and cover them with wild flowers. Her face is a rather odd combination of a human and a deer. Her eyes are dark brown and wide, constantly looking around, her lips and nose almost seem shaded as if smeared with coal dust and she has long ears that often point to sound.

Roe’s clothing is rather simple, an old tanned cotton band wrapped around her chest and a small leather backpack. She sports a set of ran-like horns that sticks out of her head right above her eyebrows. Since she is rather young her horns are short and stubby, not long and sharp. She is slightly shorter then the average female woman and rather lightweight.

Abilities: Roe has a lot of power for being in such a small body. She fights mainly with a modified chainsaw that looks much heavier then it really is. She is also rather talented with navigation and survival using more natural and traditional means. This doesn't mean she is behind the times though, Roe is fairly good at using technology for her age and species.
Weaknesses: Roe can be rather rash when it comes to fighting and tends to fight using all the energy she has, which leads to her burning out rather quickly. She also has trouble fighting things that have flesh, robots are no problem though.

Other: Roe is a vegetarian and although she might make disgusted faces at someone eating venison she would never confront them about it.

I have a pre-made character that I never got to use. I think it would work beautifully in this RP, a ninja like special ops cyborg using only proven technology.

Sounds fun. Of course, I'm already working on converting a few of my characters. So far I'm using TJ from Othergrounds, possibly Myre, and Roket from one of Shade's old military rps on the Sporum. I'd use Stellus Mortem, but there's no way for me to prove his abilities scientifically.

I'm also going to use a character who's sort of like Neo; a hacker who will be working with one of the teams to try and shut down the Mimic.

Here's my first character. This is a model character; he has a lot of abilities that are all possible in real life, and has a few different debilitating weaknesses.


name: Richard Price (though he prefers to be called 420)
age: 26
gender: male
species: human

Appearance: 420 resembles Neo from The Matrix some. He is a tall man, about 6’1”, and weighing around 180 lbs. He is muscular, but in no way buff, having thin wiry muscles. He has very dark brown hair that is always combed back in a very professional way, and is slightly babyfaced, having slightly puffy cheeks and a cleft chin. His face is occasionally sprinkled with some five-o-clock shadow (like all good spies). 420’s eyes are a curious feature, as their irises are a very unnatural shade of bright amber, which is why 420 often wears a pair of black Oakleys (that and to mimic his childhood hero Neo). 420 dresses very professionally, usually wearing a black suit with a black long coat instead of a suit jacket. On 420’s right ear is a dark grey bluetooth which (if you look very closely) has a gold S on it. On his right ring finger is a gold wedding band. This will come into play later.

personality: 420 is a rather difficult-to-get-along-with individual, similar to Sherlock Holmes. He seems to stay surprisingly calm at most times (though isn't actually a sociopath), and often logics his way through things so much that he hurts people's feelings. He seems to have a soft spot for women, and won't hurt them. He shares a similar soft spot for children, especially scared children, and will not commit acts of violence in front of them unless he is REALLY mad. He can be rather lazy at times, and will often send other people to do things for him because "he doesn't have the time". Basically, he's a logical guy who is secretly humane, almost a cross between the McCoy personality stereotype and the Spock.

abilities: 420, being a former agent of Saybre-Tech, has a neurochip embedded in his brain that allows him to hack electronics. By simply thinking about it, 420 can take over pretty much any electronic device save the Mimic, and can also cause irritating telepathic brain waves that cause biological organisms to get headaches and lose focus easily. In edition to that, 420 is an extremely intelligent individual and a genius hacker. No firewall stands in his way at any time, and he can outthink most enemies, making him a useful ally when combating the Mimic. When he gets extremely angry, 420 can go into a mode known as the Beta Mode. During the Beta Mode, 420’s sense of human restraint and weakness to pain both diminish, tripling his strength and making him extremely tolerant to pain, as well as increasing his speed quite a bit.

weaknesses: Firstly, large amounts of head trauma or Electromagnetic radiation (EMPs) cause 420 to, in a sense, shut down. He falls into a temporary coma until special nanobots that live in the neurochip can repair any damage done to his brain. During this period of time, 420 is completely useless. Also, because he is so intelligent, 420 can often be out-dumbed, as he expects his enemies to be clever. Thirdly, 420 cannot hack the Mimic because they are filled with computer viruses (the viruses can’t infect the Mimic, so they use them as a defense mechanism against hackers).

weapons: 420 has quite a few gadgets that he’s kept around since his Saybre days. The most prominent one is his Oakleys, which are actually a kind of HUD (heads-up display) which he can control with his mind, similar to Google Glass. The Oakleys have a rear-view camera, an internet router allowing him to telepathically surf the web, the ability to read texts, a camera, a rocking MP3 player, night vision, and thermal vision, allowing him to see through walls. Secondly is 420’s wedding band. The ring is actually a holding area for 420’s nanobots (he isn’t actually married). 420 can telepathically control these bots to attack enemies and give him limited telekinesis, allowing him to move objects with them. Incase that doesn’t work, though, 420 always carries a Glock 45 modified to use Shredder Rounds (super-heated titanium dioxide bullet coated in a layer of 3,000 degree silicon, able to burn through pretty much anything).

So how realistic is this RP going to be? Because that sheet uses some pseudoscience. It can't be that rigorous if supernatural abilities are allowed, even if the principals behind them have to be explainable.

Your character can do whatever the Hell you want them to so long as they have a weakness and you can scientifically explain the power (ie, it's theoretically possible). I don't know exactly what pseudoscience you're referring to (as I believe that everything on that sheet is theoretically possible), but that's an approximate model. I more or less explained anything.

Appearance: He looks like this. height: 5’7”, weight: 150 lbs. Myre is covered in blue fur in everywhere but his face and hands, and his skin is very dark, almost Italian-looking.

personality: Myre Is your classic spy; he’s charming, daring, intrepid, witty, and can come up with a wisecrack in seconds. Myre often makes jokes and pokes fun at things while on the job, but he’s no clown. Myre is a professional; he’s cunning, observant, and deadly, even if he is a bit too gregarious at times. He is a man who gets the job done no matter what the cost, and he always gets results. He has a rather short fuse, however, and can easily be angered into doing some stupid stuff. Myre is a relatively smart man, but is most well-known in the NER for his attention to detail, reading of body language, and common sense. He is very good at assuming what you’re about to say or what a villain is about to do, and he never misses when something’s off. In a way, Agent Myre is the second half of Exo’s brain. Exo has book smarts; Myre has street smarts. He’s been in espionage and the police force for seven years, and was in the military for four years before that, where he served as a black ops member of the Force (the Lumien Navy SEALs). Because of his military stint; Myre doesn’t have a problem killing people and is mentally tough. He has seen his comrades dragged to their knees and shot through the head in front of him and not flinched. Because of this, Myre can be particularly violent when he is cornered or when his friends’ lives are at stake.

abilities: Lumiens have a few different abilities that they adapted due to their homeworld having a rather inconsistent climate. Firstly, Lumien bones are twice as strong as human bones, and are extremely difficult to break. Secondly, Lumiens have an extra organ in their back that is called the salt gland. It controls the diffusion of different salts into the bloodstream, allowing Myre to flush his blood with salt to keep it from freezing or boiling. This allows him to survive extremely hot or extremely cold climates with relative ease.

weaknesses: There’s not really much to put here. Besides his bone structure, Myre is just as frail as any human. if you shoot him, he dies. Of course, he has a ton of gadgets to make it very hard for you to do that, but in theory he’s just as easy to kill as any human.

weapons: Myre has several fun gadgets that he uses which make him an excellent combatant. Firstly, there’s his Vacuum Ray. The vacuum ray resembles a black hair dryer with a pistol grip and a toggle switch on the back. The gun is covered in billions of very powerful valves which when activated in the “suck” setting rapidly vacuum all of the air out of the gun, causing an extremely powerful vacuum effect. This allows Myre to suck low-calibur bullets out of the air or grab small objects from far away. The “blow” setting on the gun has the reverse effect, and causes the gun to blast whatever objects it sucked up at the speed of sound. Secondly, Myre has his Helios Boots. Helios boots are rocket boots which when activated allow him to jump three times his usual jump height (so he can jump about 30 feet in the air). The shoes are powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, and have an extremely powerful shock absorber in the sole to keep Myre’s legs from breaking when he hits the ground (I haven’t researched enough to figure out exactly what the shock absorber is. stay tuned). Thirdly, Myre carries a pair of silence .44 magnums with him which have the same shock absorbers as the shoes to make them easier to fire and fire shredder rounds. Finally, there’s Athena. Athena is Myre’s AI (she gets a separate sheet later). She has been synched into what looks like a small hearing aid in Myre’s right ear, and can research things for him, as well as survey the terrain around him to see where enemies are.

Can I put Nick from Black Fall in here? I think his magnetism ability would be quite useful against an opponent who uses it to hold themselves together. I'll talk to Godmod about how powerful it would need to be to disrupt what hold them together to see if it's realistic. If it is, bazoinga, character sheet.


If not, I might make a whole new multidimensional "Slenderman" character. CENSORED your 3rd dimension physics. I have 4th, 5th, and 6th dimension on my side. Razz

Nick, you can't be from the fourth dimension. It's not a place.

Also, here's how powers work here. I'm going to give you guys two examples of supernatural powers. One will be what is accepted here, and one will not be.

Firstly, there's what is accepted here. Claire Sparks from Othergrounds has the ability to generate electricity and use it as a weapon. She can do this because her neurons generate 100x the amount of electricity as your average neuron, so the more Claire moves, the stronger she gets. Despite the fact that that is impossible (as that much electricity in one body would not be good), but it scientifically explains how the power works. In that case I would assume that Claire had some major modifications to her body to allow her to survive with that much electrical energy in her.

Then there's what I probably would not accept. Drake Blackmore is also a character from Othergrounds with more or less the same power; the ability to control electricity. However, when Drake uses his ability, he transforms himself into pure energy. Firstly, there's no scientific explanation to how he does that, and secondly it is impossible for a living thing to convert its own mass into energy and even if it could you couldn't survive if you were pure energy.

Basically, the first example is improbable but vaguely possible with a little bit of leeway. The second example, however, is not possible no matter what biological modifications that character possessed. That's how the whole supernatural thing works here.

So Nick, if you could scheme some with Godmod and figure out a way to make Nick's controlling gravity vaguely possible like Claire's electricity, then yes, he'd be accepted here. However no creature can come from the 4th dimension because the 4th dimension is not a place. Therefore Slenderman would not be accepted because that, quite frankly, is impossible. However, you could in theory have a possible Slenderman which would have the ability to quantum tunnel and could simply choose to stop moving when you looked at him. Though quantum tunneling isn't technically something you can just do, because you scientifically explained it I guess that would be alright (so long as Godmod said it was cool and I think she would because she has a character who can quantum flip to both clone and teleport itself). Or he could have some sort of device that allowed him to quantum tunnel.

I never said he was from the 4th dimension. I said he would have the ability to manipulate it to an extent (Like moving from place to place in such a short duration that it's incomprehensible for the human eye. Kinda like an unorthodox version of teleportation).

But I'll have to talk it over with Godmod. But I dont feel like doing that right now.

I'm pretty sure that just flew over you head. You would have to have to replace the nanobots after an EMP, but I don't care to argue it further. It's just an RP after all.

Okay, if you want EMP proof nanobots or a EMP proof case, you ether have to ditch all your circuitry and somehow make them bio bots, or coat them in a insulator, (Teflon, ceramic, or put your circuitry inside a tiny vacuum bubble) then coat that in a really good conductor (Graphine, silver, copper) so the EMP is conducted around the circuits and sensitive electronics by the graphine (since its best for nano technologies) and prevented from being able to short into them by the insulator. (which will be your biggest problem nanotechnology wise as you'd have to specially make everything using exact carbon nano-tube structuring and layering to keep the layer thin but still effective.) However you now have the question, why is the case not EMP proof and the nanobots are? You could answer that and say the case is, but the insulator isn't very good because the nano structures are likely flawed so that if its a strong enough EMP, it can bust the circuits in the case but the insulation is just enough to protect the nanobots inside the circuitry inside the case.

I'll have a scientific explanation for slender man in a few minutes once I finish typing it out.
