dA is beginning to scare me with what people are drawing nowadays... There's some pretty creepy art on there. I shudder at some of the anthro art on that site.

...That's just weird to me, because my characters are all different bits of my personality. o.O

Truthfully I'm a stickler for characters remaining as their original creators saw them. I don't do headcanons, fancanons, fanfictions*, or any of their ilk. I think those are just...I dunno. Disgraceful? When someone comes up with something original, I hate to see people turn it into a teen drama or take it into another fandom.

For example, I don't want to see Pinkie Pie in Portal.
I don't want to see Hiccup going out with Merida.
And I really don't want to see characters that hate each other, or don't care about each other, suddenly end up in love relationships.

*The exception to fanfictions is if say, it's a real situation that could have or has happened, and doesn't break any "rules." So, doesn't mess with the plotline or any character's personality/role.

I was actually going to make a fanfiction story of sorts in the story section, but when it comes to my stories, I hate trying to write as characters I didn't make, because I have little faith in myself in regards to properly portraying their personality. If the original characters ever appear in the first place, it's mostly because it has to happen in order for the story to progress (I try to avoid making it that way), and I make it as brief as I possibly can so that they leave before I mess up. Mostly, my fanfictions are completely new characters I made, just placed in the setting or world that the story is based on. I don't like trying to mess with the original character's intended role.

At any rate, I agree with Sar on the romance and shipping stuff. I heavily dislike romance between two characters that never met, or were never intended to be together in the first place. If a character was meant to be with someone else in the main plot, why should they be with someone that never existed in that universe to begin with?

Even if it's a fanfiction, I like it when people keep the original characters out of it, and think up something new, that still fits the universe the story is placed in.

I like making fanfictions based on songs, since people have different view points on the same songs. I am working on fanfics for the pandora voxx series right now. I've already made a "Tale of Six trillion years and a night" fanfic from the song series. I'm also thinking of making a fanfic for this song called "Rolling girl". That song has probably more meanings to it then any other song ever written. Some say it has to do with a girl getting bullied, others one with relationship problems, some say it has to do with a girl with a sickness, and there's even some people who take it literally in the idea of a girl rolling. There's still tons of other ideas on what the song's about, though.

Pekopon is a reference to this anime comedy called keroro gunsou (translates to sgt frog) it's about a bunch of alien frogs trying and failing at conquering earth. It's funny but weird XD

there's an alien hacker frog on it named kururu (pronounced in english kululu) that people call the troll of anime XD
