People made up all the ridiculous stuff said about Chuck Norris, just because he's unrealistically good at combat in his movies.

I still frown upon using him, but he wouldn't be godlike.

I kidd I kidd!!! I would like to use Steve from minecraft though.

Steve...Hm. That could be very interesting.
The only forseeable problem I see is that he doesn't ever talk in MC, so we have no idea what his personality is like...
That would leave it up to you, and then he'd become more of an OC than a character from a game.

There is also the fact that he is from a world of blocks. Being trasported to a world that is more than that would be very disorienting, and I'm not sure how his physics would work.

The idea is interesting, but I'd have to say no to Steve too.

Well it wouldn't actually be Steve, but someones (mine) minecraft character that got transported into the dimension everyone else is in,and he would see the world just like everyone else, like how the team fortress 2 characters would see more detail than normal. (I would write his speech like this:
Dr. T: Wow this is he coolest texture pack I've ever seen!!!!!
Dr. T: Woah! What mod is this!?
Dr. T: Hey how did you guys get 3D skins?
)

And I would write what he does as I normally would.(Dr. T sprinted over to a small mound of dirt about 6 meters away from the group, and grabbed a shovel out of his inventory, and prepared to dig straight down)

And whenever he destroys a "block"(1 meter X 1 meter) It leaves a perfectly square hole (although if he dug in sand It would fill in immediately)

Also his "Universe's" physics apply to him and him alone, just like how scout can double jump and how Gabriel Gray has telekinesis and a ton of other ridiculous things, and jinx has her bag of powerups.

Well that's your OC of a Minecraft characters. In this RP we're only allowing published characters from an official work.

If you wanted to be someone from Minecraft you could possibly get away with Herobrine, tho I'm not sure about that either because again, he never talks. And we don't want to turn him into an OC.

While that is on Youtube, that is that person's OC version of Steve.
And I don't think Youtube counts as a professional publishing source.

Besides like you said, Steve doesn't talk, so that is the absolute BEST I can do, And also isn't sherlock an original character of the movie director, or Scout and medic the original character of the people who made the game?

Well since we aren't the ones who invented the characters they aren't our ocs.

The TF2 videos were made by an official publisher, where it's posted is of no consequence. Whether or not Steve will work is up to Glerp, simple as that. I personally don't think he's a good choice, but that's my opinion.
