Cast of the Megaverse Empty
PostSubject: Re: Cast of the Megaverse   Cast of the Megaverse EmptyWed Nov 20, 2013 5:21 pm

Name: Era of the Old/New Gods
Genre: CENSORED slapping actiony awesome
Description: lol
Species: Human with some bitchin' abilities
Other: I'm taking this very seriously.

Information

Name: Black Bedrich
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Species: Human
Appearance: Black is a bit of wildCard - if you're trying to identify his Heritage, that is. His father wAs Czechoslovakian, and later being a citizen of the Czech Republic who left for Scotland because of the politics. He Met Black's mother and they soon married and had Black. The economy drove them to seek their fortune around north-eastern United States, and there he is. Black has Pale, fairly unblemished skin and a brown-red mIx bed head kind of hair-do accOmpanied by matching stubble and strikingly intelligent green eyes. Having grown up in Scotland uNtil sixteen, he has an accent which has been watered down a bit since his moving to the 'States. He usually wears something comfortable, whether it be baggy jeanS, cargos, or even camo pants (he never wears shorts thOugh, never ever). With that, he mainly wears a typical, white men's tank top when at home or just being casual (sometimes accompanied with a nice button-up and leather jacket) and he always has those comFy black combat boots. He is in good athletic shape, stands at 5'11", and To total it out, he weighs 175 lbs. Black has a few scars, each with their own stories, and rather large and calloused Hands. Black owns little to no jewelry except for dog tags on a chain for when hE was in service. Black has a few quirks, and may even appear as hyper-active, especially if you look at his fingers which seem to be constantly moving or doing something.

Personality:The appearance section had it right; but those green eyes of his are nowhere near capable of reflecting his intellectual aptitude and colorful creativity. He is rather gentle for the Most part, but it is hard to see that if you can't get past his work-fixated mindset. There are always projects to be done, work to be handled, things to invEnt, books to read - simply a whole world that appears to be open to him like a public library. This larger and life disposition can make him appear rather charismatic to the untrained eye, but is a tad awkward in semi-casual social interactions with an unknown individual, as makinG new friends isn't on the top of his priority list. Religion and politics is unimportant to him as they are unrelated to his primary concerns, sexuality poses no issue to him, racism is illogical; this is to say that Black has little concern for much of the cultural issues that plAgues the country as they are too silly to be worrying about in the first place. He tends to be rather oblivious to romantic relations and/or interactions, and it would take a lot for him to be Very attracted to a woman in a first place. But let's get back to one thing; he is a genius - hands down, no questions asked. He is knowledgeable in many different arEas of expertise, including but not limited to: calculus, arithmetic, history, biology, computers, engineering, thermonuclear astrophysics... you know, the simple stuff.

He isn't too quick to anger due to the discipline training he has received duRing service and is very capable of confronting and handling dangerous interactions, making him suitable for neutralizing unstable situationS. However, if there ever comes a time that a conflict or problem poses a challenge to him, or come a situation he finds difficult to diffuse, he might begin to panic. Though able to assEss problems fairly well and able to maintain control of his composure, he may end up confusing himself due to over-thinking normally simple problems. He has enough restraint to keep himself from starting a fight when confronted with antagonistic individuals, but is protective of what he deems precious to him. His moral compass is fairly well aligned and he has a particular sense of justice that makes him feel as if he must do what he believes is the right thing, regardless of the consequence or benefits that may come out of it.

Alignment: Neutral Good

Abilities

Ability: Okay, let's be technical with this: his brain is essentially super charged and is always active and operating at one hundred and ten percent. The size and amount of electrical discharges his brain conducts are completely out of the ordinary, making him capable of processing information at the speed of a super computer, and allowing him to react to the stimulating factor almost instantly. His brain capacity is also larger so it doesn't completely overcharge him and fry his brain. The neurons in his brain holds, transfers, and processes information and data and are half as large as they normally would. Those little pieces of data containers are multiplied and each one hold just as much as the average sized neurons in a regular person. So he is allowed to process information, contain more information, react to outside stimulation, and produce conclusion to various problems much faster and more effectively than anybody else. Unfortunately, all of this activity comes at some price like all things do. There are sections of the brain called the pons, cerebellum, and occipital lobe, which are the brain's sensory organs.  They are also more sensitive than the average man. This curses Black with epilepsy, which can make the victim suffer seizures when processing an excess amount of information gathered by the sensory organs, especially that of the video and audio centers. Bright flashing lights and loud noises can cause these, lights being more effective than sound. Getting shot, as you can imagine, is rather uncomfortable experience; even more-so for Black. Another part of the brain, called the medulla oblongata, is responsible for the automatic functions such as breathing, your heart rate, and digestion. This is a mixed bag, as breathing can get more oxygen in your blood and your brain, your heart rate can get that oxygen around faster, and digestion breaks down the food faster. This also allows toxins to travel throughout his body lot faster than you and I.

Skills: Is ability to process information faster than everyone else allowed him to receive an extensive education in many fields, particularly in the sciences. On top of this, he has worked in a medicine study and manufacture plant, and has received military training after offering his service, so he has extensive knowledge of firearms, tactics, maneuvers, as well as learning how to construct certain pieces of weaponry (with the proper components).

Weapons/Tools: He has guns from his military days, some of them received as gifts. Such includes a M1911A1 (.45 ACP). As civilians aren't allow assault weapons, he wasn't able to keep one, but managed to keep a Benelli M1014 shotgun.

Weaknesses/Limits/Drawbacks: He is still a man, so any weapon has the potential to kill him. Additionally, he is epileptic, and is thus more susceptible to triggers such as bright flashing lights and loud noises, which he tries to counteract with sunglasses and ear plugs.

Other:
Black's father, Oswald Bedrich, was a steadfast citizen of the country Czechoslovakia long before it broke apart into the Czech Republic and Slovakia, inherited by the more Germanic, Czech side of the country. The political instability lasted long before the break-up, and his father fled the country when the politics became too much for him. An engineer and mathematician by trade, it was easy to find work when he moved to Scotland. It later became a part time job when he figured out becoming a college professor suited him more naturally. He met one of his students, a young woman, Adair, only a year or two younger than he was, and learned that her primary aspiration was to be a network engineer and computer analyst. Apparently his advanced arithmetic course could assist her in better understanding binary code, which is a series of consecutive numbers, a code or "language" that computers use to process data and information. Over the course of the year, Black's father has bonded with this particular student, and when she graduated, their relationship wasn't just teacher-student, but actual close friends. This friend, eventually became his romantic and eventually Black's mother. There was little argument over the boy's name. The father while somewhat homesick, had no desire to give the boy a Czechoslovakian name. His mother however, wanted to give him a good, traditional Scottish name. The father didn't argue, and then there came the name "Black Bedrich".

Of course, his childhood was different than most people and was considered a child prodigy. He picked up basic skills with ease and said his first word at around 14 months of age. He could have a conversation with his parents at age four. When you're smart and in kindergarten or early elementary school, you tend to get pretty popular. Of course, that mindset changes around late elementary school and beyond. He was considered a nerd of course and was teased. His first experience in a fight with another student was in fourth or fifth grade when a larger, older student started messing with him and faked a punch; this is also when he began to learn of his ability to process information faster than others. He reacted nearly instantly, not knowing the punch would be fake, and twisted the boy's arm and landing a punch in the ribs. He would have been in trouble if the blow horn hadn't tossed him into an epileptic fit. Black learned a lot about himself that day. It was around sixth grade though when they moved to America since work around Scotland was getting hard to come by.

Nobody actually thought of his power to actually be a power, rather than some miracle of nature or freak accident. His mother and father taught Black what they knew of their professions when he was in high school until they taught him all they knew. Throughout his schools years, he has been getting A's and those occasional B's and has been skipping grades until he graduated high school between fifteen and sixteen. At the time, they couldn't afford a big fancy college, so they took him to a local university.

Let's fast forward: he's twenty. He got a doctorate's degree in biochemical engineering (medicine), an associate's degree in mechanical engineering, an associate's degree in physics (including quantum and nuclear), an associate's degree in history, in mathematics (calculus, geometry, arithmetic, etc.), in all sorts of things. He took no classes in other sciences (he probably already knows have the things there are to know about them). One thing he was never interested in though was string theory. In fact, the subject mostly just pisses him off so don't even bring it up. Anyhow, he originally started off making medicine as a company manager. He he was young back when 9/11 happened, and while he felt fiercely patriotic at the time of the event, he was too young and that passion has since been tempered. Another catastrophic event had happened overseas leaving him rather patriotic again, and the military even had a special job opening. So he has since put his medicine career on hold and enlisted. After two years of training as, he was assisting in weapon manufacture and design as a specialist, including firearms, explosives, and even warheads. He quickly learned thermonuclear astrophysics from their best and soon got started. There was only a few times he had to go out on the field himself. After five years of service, as a corporal, he resigned himself from duty out of a fit of guilt. Some Afghanistan militia had somehow taken under custody a bomb of Black's making. It was a thermal warhead, which instead of just exploding and blowing everything around it, it focused more on releasing an immense amount of heat with a device that emitted microwaves. So instead of destroying everything around it, it cooked and fried every living person that was around it, as well as interfering with radio waves. After getting a hold of the device, the enemy tossed it into an American base. Black felt responsible for their deaths and personally hand-written all of their eulogies before packing his bags. It has been a year since he has left service and has gotten back into the trade of constructing medicine (looking for ways to create some common cold vaccine, mostly).

Cast of the Megaverse Empty
PostSubject: Re: Cast of the Megaverse   Cast of the Megaverse EmptyThu Nov 21, 2013 2:06 am

Name: Marshall Copeland
Gender: Male
Age: 53
Species: Human
Appearance: Marshall is a foreboding-looking man. He stands at about 6’0”, and is very slim, being around 160 lbs. Though he doesn’t look it, he is very muscular and tough, a result of hunting monsters for over 30 years. Marshall’s skin is a cocoa brown color (he’s black, obviously) and his hair is black with streaks of grey in it. His hair is kept short and close to his head (one less thing for a monster to grab onto). Marshall’s eyes are black as coal, and constantly have this sort of lifeless, uncaring quality to them. He is obviously a man who has been through a lot. Resting low on Marshall’s nose is his round rimless glasses. These glasses are actually charmed to allow him to see hiding ghosts, as well as a few other paranormal things. On Marshall’s lip is a thick black-and-grey mustache that looks like it belongs on the lip of a gunslinger in an old west movie. Marshall’s body is covered with a patchwork of scars from his years of fighting, the most prevalent one being a slash across the left side of his throat, about an inch from his jugular. He’s obviously had some close calls in his career. Marshall pretty much wears the same thing every day. His dress composes of a white button-down dress shirt with the collar open, a pair of dark brown trousers, a matching brown vest, a pair of black leather boots, his trademark black wool trench coat, and a black stetson that almost never leaves his head. At Marshall’s waist is always a thick brown leather belt, the buckle of which looks like Medusa’s head. On this belt is his dagger and pistol. Marshall always carries around his cane, which has a silver skull on the top of it. You can say he dresses like champions do.

Personality: Marshall seems to have almost two completely different personalities, depending on what situation he’s in. When he’s not fighting, Marshall has a kind aura about him of a wise mentor. He has a lot of patience with people, especially those learning something new, and a long attention span. Though he has no sense of humor whatsoever, Marshall can often be a fun person to be around, constantly telling fun stories about his adventures or coming up with interesting conversation topics for around the dinner table. He can be very compassionate as well, and is a great person to talk to about problems. He is very intelligent as well, making him a good tutor. Yet, despite his kind demeanor, he never laughs and very rarely smiles, as if something terrible is hiding under his skin, cloaked in his kind demeanor.

The second side of Marshall is not nearly as kind. When Marshall or anyone else is under attack, Marshall switches into kill mode. Marshall the Warrior is a merciless assassin with a very short fuse and a whole lotta gunpowder. When Marshall fights, the black hatred buried deep inside him bursts out. He is extremely violent and ruthless. He has been known to have spared a monster only once, in the case of Drake Smith, but that’s a story for another day. When Marshall fights, he’s fighting as if for revenge of some sort. It’s almost as if whatever he is fighting was personally responsible for everything bad in his long life of pain. Death does not phase him in either personality, and gore is almost commonplace. He seems to deal extremely well with grief, though the death of a loved one puts him in his angry state for long periods of time or until he finds and swiftly executes whoever killed them. The speed in which Marshall can switch between his two almost entirely separate personalities is astonishing, and often scares people. Though, if Marshall gets in too dramatic or too violent a fight, he will often spend several hours in that angry state.

Alignment: I he's kinda chaotic good, technically, but you're not asking for that.

Abilities:

Ability: Well, Marshall is a talented b*stard. He's incredibly talented at combat for a fifty-something-year-old man, and could take on just about anyone in hand-to-hand combat. In addition to that, Marshall has his magic. You see, the cane Marshall carries around does more than help him walk; it's actually a magic sceptre that Marshall can use to cast certain spells. Being human, Marshall is very limited in what spells he can cast, but he can still put a hurting on pretty much anything that pisses him off. Marshall has so far learned how to cast spells that heal minor wounds, create complex illusions, render him temporarily invisible, allow him to conjure Hellfire (a special extra-hot magical fire that is extremely difficult to extinguish), and give him or others superhuman strength and speed (He may learn other spells later). The superhuman strength and speed lasts about five minutes, and makes him or another as strong and fast as a vampire. Also, in Marshall's jacket, he carries a little jewelry box made of wood, which is magically charmed to hold a small arsenal of weapons. This guy...never runs out of weapons.

Skills: Marshall is an accomplished tinker when it comes to weaponry, and can modify weapons easily to make them more powerful. He also plays the guitar (though I don't think that's what you're looking for.

Weapons/Tools: Well, Marshall has a very wide range of weapons that he uses thanks to his magic box. This is his current arsenal:

-A magic shotgun that can fire a host of special shells and slugs used to kill different monsters
-A .44 Magnum six-show revolver in a holster at his hip.
-A Victorian-era silver dagger that is charmed to be highly reflective (for killing Gorgons and Basilisks)
-Sugar Skull bombs; special grenades that when detonated release a toxic sweet-smelling gas that drives away the undead.
-A large round steel shield charmed to be a mirror (used to fight Gorgons and Basilisks)
-A six-foot-long steel burning halberd (the blade burns with hellfire)
-A Renaissance-era b*stard sword (longsword)
-A Dragunov sniper rifle modified to fire armor-piercing bullets filled with greek fire (they burst into magical green fire upon impact)
-A vest made of Nemian Lion hide (the vest Marshall always wears). It is bulletproof and stands up to most slashing or stabbing attacks.

Weaknesses/Limits/Drawbacks: Well, Marshall is completely useless if you separate him from his sceptre and weapons box. Without them, he's just an old man with a limp that looks uncannily like Will Smith from the Wild Wild West. Also, magic can be absorbed by the chemical makeup of many plastics, meaning that, in theory, you can defeat Marshall's magic with Legoes if you wanted to (Marshall has yet to figure out how Hellfire cannot melt plastic).

Other: Marshall's theme song; the best in the Megaverse.

Working on character 2 now.

Cast of the Megaverse Empty
PostSubject: Re: Cast of the Megaverse   Cast of the Megaverse EmptyThu Nov 21, 2013 2:18 am

Name: New Earth
Genre: Modern, Sci-fi, Futuristic
Description: This universe is very similar to the world we live in, it's exactly like Earth, it has the same history. Except for some key differences. There were tales and tales and tales about how years in the future; mankind will reach an age of technological supremacy. Man will build cities on distant stars, create machines to serve our purposes and reach levels that were thought to be impossible. In this universe that Era became possible through brilliant minds joining together. Billions of young hearts who worked to make their world better, and the time to make that dream a reality. Technology advanced extremely fast, and in by the year 2015; space travel was invented, cybernetics had been invented, and many more technological wonders had been crafted. However, through this technology, new and stranger issues came to. For some; this great age just wasn't enough. Instead of rejoicing in this era greed and corruption has driven some to attempt to forcibly advance not just the technology but the humans behind this great age by searching for the means just to do so. Most of the time illegally. Searching for more than the same thing has caused several disasters. One particular event was the Blast. An event to create an essence that'd turn men godlike - This attempt exploded, spreading this essence all over the world. Thousands were killed. Spawning people known as Meta-humans who possessed supernatural abilities far beyond your average human. Some had the power to spew fire, or move objects with their mind. What they used this power for was up to them. Whether it was good or evil.

Things were getting bad. Greedy criminals, monsters, and mad scientists were spawning out of the woodworks. Preying on everyone who come in the wrong parts, at the wrong time. Or just preying upon people. To fight all this rampant super crime; a new force had been created. The NEST. They are comprised of an army of soldiers trained to combat these super-threats - With competent cyborgs and Meta-humans working side by side. This army combats all super threats once they present themselves. Thus, they're held in high regard in the public.

Thus spawning an eternal conflict of good versus evil. This conflict is much more grey, on both sides, than it appears to be...

Species: Regular humans inhabit this universe, but there are two sub-species that branched off from humans.

Meta-humans: Humans infected with the energy created by the Blast were given super powers that put them head above shoulders. They vary in power, and can potentially have any power within. These powers also have varying levels of strength and skill. They aren't too rare in the universe of New Earth, and are widespread. Their morality, personalities, and goals are just as diverse as their powers.

Cyborgs: Similar to Meta-humans, Cyborgs are people who have been given super-human abilities through technological means. There are two types of Cyborgs; military and civilian. Civilian cyborgs usually have cybernetics to compensate for lost limbs or broken DNA. Military cyborgs have cybernetics specifically tailored for combat. They have advanced strength, speed, and durability. Because of their mechanical parts being fused with organic parts. They also possess advanced hearing, sight, and reaction timing/reflexes. They can process information a hundred times faster than the human brain. Generally being capable of doing things that the average man cannot - Their abilities are wholly dependent on the cybernetic alterations they've received. Being on the same level as Meta-humans in ways. However, the more advanced military cyborgs can barely be defined as human.

Other: This is basically my world from storytellers, without freakish mutants and much more brighter.

Cast of the Megaverse Empty
PostSubject: Re: Cast of the Megaverse   Cast of the Megaverse EmptyThu Nov 21, 2013 4:31 am

Information

Name: Grinda Garronash III
Gender: female
Age: around 60 (though she has the body of a 25-year-old)
Species: Gorgon

Appearance: Grinda is a Gorgon, a species of creature that’s appearance varies extremely widely. Grinda is about fifteen feet long and weighs several hundred pounds. Her lower body from the waist down is the enormous trunk and tail of a serpent. Her scale pattern is similar to that of a green anaconda’s. The snake body is about as wide around as Grinda’s torso, and tapers down to a point at the tip of the tail. On the end of Grinda’s tail is a long sharp blade two feet in length and five inches across. She keeps this blade extremely sharp by whetting it on rocks. Grinda’s upper half is similar to a female human’s. She has a slim, feminine belly and a decent amount of cleavage for a snake-monster-thingy. She has a long pair of slim-yet-muscular arms and hands that have sharp, well-groomed claws instead of fingernails. Her face is almost attractive; it’s heart-shaped, with slim bony cheeks and a small, softly-angled nose. Her eyes are snake-like, and greatly resemble an Emerald Tree Boa’s eyes (look it up). Grinda’s teeth are very sharp, and are set off by a pair of large venomous fangs which tuck against the roof of Grinda’s mouth and give her a lisp. She has a forked tongue like a snake’s. Grinda’s skin, however, greatly detracts from her appearance, as it is a sickly shade of green, a good bit lighter than the color of her tail, but still the same relative hue. Her hair is long and falls down to about the small of her back. The hair is a very dark shade of green. On cue, Grinda can turn her hair into a nest of snakes like Medusa’s hair, though she only does this when exceptionally threatened, as the snakes annoy her. She wears a silver breastplate outlined in gold that cuts off at her midriff, protecting her shoulders and chest.

Personality: Grinda’s personality is similar to GLAdos’ from Portal. She’s a highly-intelligent creature that always seems to have this incredibly bored demeanour about her. She is often extremely sarcastic, and always sounds like she’s being annoyed by everyone else’s still being alive. Grinda is often classified as a sociopath; she’s no champion of the multiverse. Grinda feels nothing when she kills, and has no compassion whatsoever, though she does have a degree of family loyalty, as the Garronash family has taught her that. She will not kill another of her family. Grinda also has respect for her opponents; she normally does not play with her food unless they really pissed her off. Grinda’s pretty much the person you go to when you need a plan to kill someone. She’s a very good strategist.

Alignment: bad (How many snake women do you know who are good?)

Abilities

Ability: Being a Gorgon, Grinda has a host of abilities at her disposal. The first is her most well-known ability; she can paralyze people who look her in the eye. Though it’s no turning-to-stone, anyone who does so will be frozen and unable to move for several minutes, giving Grinda enough time to kill them. Secondly, Grinda cannot be killed by mortal weapons. This means that things like guns, blades, grenades, and other sorts of normal human weapons are useless against her. Any damage sustained to her by a “mortal” weapon almost instantly heals (unless she gets splattered by a bomb or something, because then she’ll take a few minutes to reform). She also has some degree of resistance to magic and most supernatural abilities, though they can still damage her. Then is Grinda’s venom; if someone is bitten by Grinda, they are pretty much screwed. Her venom is a deadly hemotoxin that cuts off the oxygen supply to body cells, causing widespread cell death (however, considering this is a roleplay, I doubt anyone will actually get bitten). There is no known cure for Gorgon venom. Finally, Grinda has a host of magical spells which she can use. She can cast a wide variety of curses and spells that have a wide range of effects, though she prefers not to use killing curses. Magic is primarily used by Grinda to trap her prey.

Skills: Grinda is a very good potion-maker, and, given the proper ingredients, can whip up concoctions that have a variety of effects, from poison to love potions. She will often trade potions for favors, as money is useless to her.

Weapons/Tools: Well, Grinda is tremendously strong (about 2x stronger than the average human male), and has razor sharp claws and a tail blade. She doesn’t really need weapons, as she is one. Any weapon she uses is something she stole from someone else.

Weaknesses/Limits/Drawbacks: Well, first is the old Gorgon nail-in-the-coffin; reflections. If Grinda sees her own reflection while trying to paralyze someone, she herself will become paralyzed for several minutes, long enough for her assailants to run or find a way to kill her. Grinda doesn’t heal as easily when frozen. Secondly, Grinda is not immune to her own venom, so if she bites herself she’s screwed. Plus, considering this is an RP, nobody will ever get bitten by Grinda most likely, because they’ll all find a way to dodge. Thirdly, Grinda’s magic has the same weakness as Marshall’s; it can be absorbed by plastic. A thick prison of legoes would be Hell for Grinda.

Cast of the Megaverse Empty
PostSubject: Re: Cast of the Megaverse   Cast of the Megaverse EmptyThu Nov 21, 2013 4:59 am

Name: The Blighted Earth
Genre: Fantasy

Description: The Blighted Earth has a very similar history to modern-day Earth, except that, in the Blighted Earth universe, creatures like vampires and werewolves have been living amongst us for years. In the year 2016, a war breaks out between vampires and werewolves. At first it was just a few light skirmishes that had the seemings of a gang fight, but as both sides began to recruit new members more rapidly and rapidly, the war escalated to a global crisis. By the year 2018, 2/3 of humans were either vampires or werewolves, and both sides absolutely hated each other. The vampires and werewolves destroyed and took over the USA, with vampires primarily living east of the Mississippi and werewolves living to the west of the Mississippi. Europe became a patchwork of primarily destroyed countries due to a variety of monsters all coming out from hiding when the war started. In America (the place where we'll be if we end up in my multiverse), humans are constantly running for their lives, as both vampires and werewolves hate them. Very few colonies of humans exist, heavily defended by what's left of the military which is now more like a militia, and the Hunters, brave warriors who have dedicated their lives to protecting humanity from Vampires and Werewolves. Most cities in the US are destroyed ghost towns, and, after a series of nuclear incidents caused by werewolves and vampires trying to create nuclear weaponry, many ares of land are radioactive and burned black.

Species: There are four main species of creatures in The Blighted Earth: vampires, werewolves, gorgons, and humans.

-Vampires live to the east of the Mississippi, and have the highest population of any of the races. They are traditional vampires (like in the stories) who burn in the sun are are immortal unless killed with special means (stake to the heart, garlic, holy water). Vampires are the lesser of two evils really in the Blighted world, as, unlike werewolves, they want to convert humans, not eat them. Vampires are more apt to convince you into joining them freely (often through false romance or promiscuity), rather than killing you or forcing you to join them. Vampires sleep during the day, so the East is safe at daytime so long as you don't enter anywhere dark.

-Werewolves live west of the Mississippi, and are most heavily concentrated on the Great Plains and the Rockies. They are traditional werewolves, who are pretty much immortal unless you damage them with silver, tungsten, or wolf-bane. Werewolves are exponentially more dangerous than vampires because they're hungrier. Werewolves would rather hunt you down and kill you than recruit you to join their cause. To werewolves, humans are just food, and they are well-known for having a taste for long pork. Werewolves are formed in tribes like Native Americans, and often get into squabbled between tribes. Werewolves also sleep during the day (usually), but they're notoriously light sleepers, and have an excellent sense of smell, making it dangerous to move through their territory during the day.

-Gorgons are kind of the ruling class of the Blighted Earth. They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, ranging from enormous monsters resembling thousand eyes restrict from Yu-gi-oh to snake people like Grinda. Because of their abilities to paralyze anyone they don't like, Gorgons are left alone, though their inability to convert other species to theirs and very slow gestation periods prevent Gorgons from completely taking over the Blighted Earth. Gorgons are immune to all mortal weapons, and can cast powerful magic, allowing them to easily defeat any vampire, werewolf, or human. Gorgons live in comfort, often choosing to take refuge in five-star hotels where they are served by slaves from the other races.

-Humans are the lowest class of creatures left in the Blighted Earth. They are fragile and imperfect according to the other races, causing them to often be targeted by raids or pogroms. They often take refuge in bomb shelters or military bases, where many colonies are. The colonies are protected by private armies and militias, as well as Hunters, who protect humans from being attacked by any of the other groups and try to keep peace between the vampires and werewolves. Both races put the Hunters in charge of maintaining the treaty line at the Mississippi. In exchange, the human cities of New Orleans, St.Louis, and a few others were allowed to stay human colonies, though many areas of these cities are occupied by Gorgons and other lesser races.

Now, though, the balance of power is starting to shift in favor of the humans. Because of the nuclear experiments, humans have began to be born in the Blighted Earth with supernatural abilities: meta humans, basically. Meta humans can defeat vampires and werewolves oftentimes, allowing humans to make a stand against their supernatural superiors more often.

Other: Can't think of anything for here right now. This is no comfortable place for our Champions of the Megaverse.

Information

Name: Amimoore Black Dellamorte (Punished Cerebral)
Gender: Female
Age: 31
Species: Meta-human
Appearance: Amimoore appears to be a soldier. She's an obvious battle scarred/ready woman. It's the way she walks, the way she looks at things, and the way she dresses. That out of the way, Amimoore is an obvious European woman, northern to be exact. Born in Lithuania. Her facial features show off her racial descent. Her face is flat, and her head is rectangle-shaped. Her facial features are bulky and generally squared. Her face is also a little long. She has a square and large chin, which has a cleft. Her nose is triangle shaped, hooked, and very small, her nostrils are fairly small too. Her lips are thick and full, but usually are tucked in. Amimoore has large, pointed ears. Her forehead is average sized, to say the least, albeit a little tall. Her eyes are small and rounded, they have a green color. Amimoore's skin is caucasian, and covered in various imperfections; mostly scars. Putting it lightly, Amimoore's entire body from the neck down is covered in scars. Burn chars, stab scars, bullet scars, among many other. There's a scar on her face. One large, red, fleshy slashing scar over her right eye.

Amimoore is an average sized woman, standing at 5'6 and weighing 132 pounds. She's slim and slightly muscular. Her muscles are subtly invisible. In her line of work, you have to stay fit or else you'll be dead. Other than that, her arms and legs are quite long, and her fingers are large and bony. Amimoore wears a special dark-purple armor. She has a skin tight leather catsuit. Over this cat-suit are various pieces of armor. To maintain her mobility, she wears a light amount of armor. She wears a tactical vest, which doubles as armor and is capable of stopping bullets from hitting her. She has armor on her shoulders, crotch and thighs. She has a large belt, which contains her gear, weapons and other armaments. On top of this armor/suit; Amimoore likes to wear an exquisite, black, fur-top trench coat.

Alignment: Neutral Good

Abilities

Ability: Psychic. Amimoore is an immensely powerful mental-type Meta-human, with several powerful psychic abilities. Telekinesis, Telepathy, Empathy, Teleporatation - In order of power. Amimoore's telekinesis is quite powerful. She has precision, and fancy tricks that other telekinetics have access to, but she also has sheer power too. For example, she can easily crush a building or send it flying with one simple thought. She has created a fortress by taking objects from the area around her and surrounding herself with it. Among her other abilities are created telekinetic shockwaves, shields, and blasts. Amimoore's telekinesis, while it takes a bit of concentration, will allow her to manipulate matter/energy on a subatomic level (Such as rearranging atoms, and manipulating energy). Amimoore can also telekinetically control objects that are not within her range of vision/afar. Miles away in fact. Next up is Telepathy; Amimoore's telepathy is quite powerful, albeit not on the level and skill that she has with telekinesis. But in terms of power level, she's kind of a Charles Xavier. She can read minds, send thoughts to people, and alter the minds of the weak minded. Her telepathy is extremely powerful, capable of affecting people from miles away. She is capable of accessing other universes if she puts her mind to it. Amimoore's third ability is that she has Empathy, which is her weakest ability. Basically she can understand emotions, motivations and goals at a deeper level. Amimoore's last ability is teleportation, she can quickly open up portals of varying size and allow two way travel between dimensions.

Skills: Utter badassery. Amimoore has been working as a super-soldier for ages, and has been trained in many areas. For starters, she has training as a soldier and has loads of experience fighting people. Mostly people of the super-human variety. Next, she's a very good shot and a great hand to hand fighter.

Weapons/Tools: Amimoore carries around a few lightweight weapons, since her schtick is mobility, and stealth. On mission, she uses a Cobra Handheld Crossbow, and it has been modified to shoot other kinds of ammunition, should the situation call for it. She keeps plenty of arrows on her at all times. For when subtly gets thrown out the window; she has a Ruger LCP-LM pistol (The kind with laser sights) and will shoot stuff in the face with it. For melee encounters she has a 10ft Kangaroo Hide Bullwhip, and a navy-seal bowie knife kept on her belt.

Weaknesses/Limits/Drawbacks: There are a few weaknesses that Amimoore possesses. For her telepathy there's an easy way to counter it and nullify any attempts for her to enter minds. Her Telepathy is very sensitive. If someone were to think a load of random thoughts while she's reading their mind; then she'll get overloaded and jolt. Stunning her for a few moments. This also makes reading multiple minds at once rather difficult without overloading. The same applies for Empathy in a way. Amimoore's telekinesis has a range, thus she can only lift objects within ninety feet of herself.

Information

Name: Samson Isiah Jeross (The Punished Phoenix)
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Species: Meta-human
Appearance: Samson is a muscular, averaged heighted, African-American man. He has a rugged, gruff feel about him. Yet at the same time he looks cheerful and full of determination. Like the type to go out and have an adventure. Samson has a tear-drop shaped head, and square shaped face. His head seemingly gets smaller as someone would go down. His chin looks odd compared to the rest of his face. His chin seems to stick out from the bottom of his head. It's appears to be much larger than average and is a double chin. He has a very sharp and pronounced jawline. His cheeks are wide, in almost all other categories they are average. His nose is mostly medium/average sized, he has a very long nose bridge. His lips are thin and small, most people won't find his lips to be too noticeable. His eyes are small, colored brown and usually has a look of determination in them. Samson has long, straight hair that is a deep black color, and styled in the fashion of thick dreadlocks. These dreadlocks hang off the back of his head. Since Samson is African-American, his skin is a shade of very dark brown. Nearly black, but not quite. He has an athletic, muscular build. Due to those aforementioned sports; he is very muscular and well-defined. Samson has several tattoos on him. The first tattoo that he has is on his right cheek. It appears to be an eagle with it's wings spread, covered in flames that are angled downwards. Like the phoenix is taking flight. The other tattoo he has is on the left side of his chest. This tattoo is of the sun and is very tribal-like. The "flames" of the sun extends far enough to reach his shoulder, belly and the top of his neck. Samson's hair is a light-black, and is cut very short. It's only a few inches off his head.

Alignment: Good

Abilities

Ability: Phoenix. Samson is the Glorious/Punished Phoenix. Basically Samson can transform himself into a phoenix made out of orange flames. His Phoenix-form has the exact appearance of a Bearded Vulture (Except made of fire!). Down to the wings, beaks, talons, and other features. His Phoenix form is large, standing at 18ft tall and having a wingspan of 34ft. His phoenix form is insanely hot and bright, casting a light in all directions. Obviously, the first thing Samson can do while in Phoenix mode is fly. While he's not that agile or swift, he can go quite fast (480 Mph). This Phoenix form gives Samson some large and powerful talons, allowing him to slash foes with superheated flames. This form also gives him a great degree of strength, capable of easily lifting cars and breaking holes in walls with little damage down to Samson. Another ability that Samson is capable of is powerful pryo-mancery, which he can use outside of his phoenix form. He can create near infinite amounts of burning hot fire, along with controlling all forms of fire. Allowing him to do several fire-related tricks (Turning flames solid, Increasing the heat to insane levels, etc). This fire-manipulation becomes much more powerful when Samson is a phoenix, allowing Samson to produce even hotter flames. These flames are insanely hot (1850F) and burn everything in his path even more. An interesting part of these flames are that they don't burn anything that Samson doesn't want it to. Only give off a soothing warmth.

Samson also possess the other abilities of the famed phoenix; regeneration. Samson's kept at his prime because of his constantly regenerating cells. His regeneration is superior to, say, Deadpool. Wounds will heal amazingly fast. Small wounds will close up instantly, while major wounds will heal in a fewseconds. Samson's tears have a healing property, thus, if he cries on someone, their cells will be repaired and healed. Now, here comes the cool part of Samson's ability. Once killed, Samson will collapse into a pile of ashes, from the ashes, Samson will be reborn. With all of his memories and his body in perfect state. Thus, Samson is immortal. His body is enhanced in many ways with superhuman durability, speed, reaction timing/reflex, dexterity and air control. Samson can also selectively transform parts of his body (Such as giving himself wings, talons, etc). Samson is capable of Pyroportation, where he can teleport vast distances by erupting into a cloud of flames, and appearing almost anywhere within his current universe. Samson is also capable of manipulation light, magma, ash and smoke.

Skills: Samson has a few skills. For starters, he has training as a soldier. While he's not experienced; he'll be soon enough. He knows how to use guns and fight well hand-to-hand. Samson also knows how to play basketball quite well. For when we fight the Monstars in a basketball match.

Weapons/Tools: Samson doesn't have any tools or weapons on him.
Weaknesses/Limits/Drawbacks: For starters, Samson's a rookie, not very experienced in fighting evil or combat in general.

For Samson's phoenix abilities, he has plenty. For starters; water. Just throw water on his fire, and it'll be the end of it. Throwing Samson into a body of water can cut him off from his phoenix form, and kill him because of his power, he can't swim. Other elements that extinguish flames are also effective against him. While Samson has regeneration and self-resurrection; he's not invincible. He can be killed the same ways anyone else can. You can also stop his resurrection by throwing his ashes into a body of water - Thus killing him for good.

Cast of the Megaverse Empty

Information

Name: Art Smith
Gender: male
Age: 26
Species: technically he is a robot, but he appears to be human.

Appearance: Art Smith is a man of average size, about 5'11", though he is around 250 pounds. He is so heavy because Art is a machine, not a human, though if you didn't know you'd have no idea that he was. Art's skin is a paler shade of white, and he is bald (they couldn't figure out how to give him realistic hair save eyebrows and eyelashes). Art's eyes are silver (and I mean silver to the point where you'd think his irises are made of steel), and if one pays very close attention, they will see a thin layer of red outlining the silver. His eyes don't look very real, though unless you studied them for a very long time you'd never notice. Art has a very Romanesque face, with bony cheeks and a prominent, well-chiseled nose. People have said that in the face he resembles the actor Christopher Eccleston. On the base of Art's neck in the back is a tattoo that looks like an NYPD captain badge, but says USDJ (United States Department of Justice) on it. Art wears a long black leather duster with a pair of black trousers and black leather boots.

Personality: I really should do this...but I REALLY don't want to. I shouldn't have to do all this work; afterall, I'm no Champion of the Multiverse. (I'm being creative, not lazy)

Alignment: lawful good

Abilities

Ability: Art is a cybernetic superman in many aspects. He is an extremely tough adversary thanks to a host of technological advances. Firstly, Art has superhuman strength. He can pretty much pick up a Prius and start shoulder pressing it with no problem, and can deadlift 23,000 pounds (the weight of an 18 wheeler cab) without hurting himself. Secondly, Art's skin is composed of a special self-healing polymer the strength of Kevlar. If his skin is cut, the polymers can actually repair themselves within around a minute of being damaged. Most of Art's inner workings are made of the same kinds of polymers (wires, cables, stuff like that). This makes Art very difficult to injure. Plus, since his inner workings are all made of or cased in steel, he is very durable. Dropping Art off the top of a 20 story building would not damage him. Thirdly, because Art's legs are primarily composed of composite metals and shock absorbers, he can run at about 40 mph and can survive jumps of up to 40 stories unscathed (so long as he lands feet first). Art's senses of sight, hearing, and smell are drastically elevated; Art can hear a pin drop a mile away, and can zoom his vision to almost 20x normal 20-20 vision, allowing him to see opponents far away. Art's nose can pick up a scent like a dog's and track it back to its owner, allowing him to track criminals. Special sound filters in Art's head keep loud noises or bright flashes from throwing him into sensory overload. Finally, Art's brain, being a computer, is extremely fast, and can surf the web. He has his own built-in internet router, so he always has a connection.

Skills: Art is skilled in combat, and can easily defeat most opponents in hand-to-hand combat. Art is highly intelligent on his own without internet connection as well.

Weapons/Tools: Art carries an RPDRG, a light machine railgun based off of the RPD (imagine an RPD that's all silver, grey, and white), as well as a silenced G16R, a railgun pistol. Railguns are weapons that use magnetic superconducting rods to fire projectiles at insanely fast speeds (Art's pistol fires rounds at around 7,800 mph, while the RPDRG fires rounds at over 9,000 mph). Art also has a forcefield that he can trigger whenever he's in danger. The shield is very strong, and at 100% can stand up to a sidewinder missile. The more damage Art's shield takes, the weaker it gets, until finally it runs out of power and he becomes vulnerable again.

Weaknesses/Limits/Drawbacks: Well firstly, Art, being a robot, is vulnerable to EMPs. If Art gets hit by an EMP, he is normally knocked out for around ten minutes until his system can reboot, making him vulnerable to damage. Secondly, though Art is very difficult to injure, once he is injured there's no healing from it, since he's not actually real organic material. Anything damaged in Art rendered useless until he can get a mechanic to repair it. Thirdly, Art has begun to think that he's a little more indestructible than he actually is, so he often does very stupid things that can get him damaged. He's a risk-taker, something that is both a blessing and a curse. Fourth is Art's sweet spot. If you shoot Art directly in the center of the pupil of either of his eyes, he will die almost instantly, as his eyes are right in front of his artificial brain.

Other: I'm eventually gonna put Art's backstory on here, but not right now.

Information

Name: Nuke
Gender: male
Age: 56,007,120 years
Species: beaver/superbeing

Appearance: Nuke is a toned beaver standing exactly 6 feet tall with brown fur and brown eyes to match. He wears a shiny silver armorweave cloak. When he is unleashing a large amount of energy, his eyes will change to the color of the power he is using.

Personality: Nuke is usually peaceful and quiet, not talking if he doesn’t have to. He can often be found doing something like observing solar mechanics from orbit for fun, streamlining and generating plans for spacecraft, and meditating. He also enjoys hiking through the forest and doing athletic activities such as skydiving and martial arts. Nuke is very loyal to his friends and allies, and makes a priority of protecting and advancing his civilization, as a good leader should.
When one of his friends or his civilization needs to be defended, he will always drop whatever he was doing and rush out the door, ready to do what needs to be done. He is not afraid to lay waste to an enemy if needed, although he would prefer that they just left him and his friends alone in the first place.

Name: Spinehk Oververse
Genre: Sci-fi/Fantasy

Description: Many cycles ago a great being constructed a massive dimension dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge at any cost. Inevitably knowledge is power, and those in power don't like to share it, so it became a war factory. A sentient biomechanical race was created in it's facilities to serve as the army needed to accomplish this task. An essence based supercomputer known as the hive mind was put in place to control and coordinate these armies. However in the mad dash for superiority too many enemies were made. The other great beings banded together and ended his domain. However the unchecked hive mind continued it's orders long after it's creators death and continued to build and evolve devices of war in it's endless drive to understand everything.

Species: Spinehk: Biomechanical creatures build to be efficient killing and observation machines. Overall they look very much like transformers, and are the champions of their region of the megaverse. They are made of a lightweight, ultra strong, hyper compressed non-atomic composite. The regular unit stands eight feet tall and has tripled segmented arms, and legs with a tail. They have a large head with large red multi lensed eyes, and huge teeth. A 20 foot prehensile cordlike tongue resides in their throat. It's back is host to rows of spines that can be ejected at high velocity. The only requirement for survival is energy, which is acquired by converting any form of consumed matter into energy. Excess energy can be vented through ports, making an effective jetpack, or fired out of the mouth in a beam of energy and plasma.

Cast of the Megaverse Empty
PostSubject: Re: Cast of the Megaverse   Cast of the Megaverse EmptySun Nov 24, 2013 2:32 am

Name: Apollyon

Gender: Masculine

Age: Three metaverse cycles (something unique to where he comes from, such an absurd age that I don't even want to estimate it)

Species: Spinehk

Appearance: Very similar to that of a regular Spinehk, with the addition of a black cloak. The general body shape is akin to a velociraptor with a elongated head and a lengthier tail. His hands and feet are clawed and have six digits, four fingers and two thumbs. Every component is either chrome colored or a dull black. Head head appears to have a spot for a third eye, and his torso for additional arms. All of his pieces are streamlined and sharp, the bottoms of his feet are rounded and covered with retractable spikes. The black cloak is an armor weave that appears ripple like it has a mind of it's own.

Personality: At the core Apollyon is cold and logical. However, he developed a personality for psychological effect on his enemies. Outwardly he is cunning, cruel and sadistic. He has a superiority complex for beings less powerful than himself, but recognizes equals and up and comers. Every emotion is fully understood by him, but never experienced. Should the situation require Apollyon is extremely capable of giving the impression that he feels like an ordinary creature. No price is too big to pay in order to gain even the tiniest most useless piece of information. Nothing else has any value, even his own existence.

Alignment: Neutral evil
