Ok my character is ready. Let the fun begin.

Name: Nuke

Gender: male

Age: >65,007,120 years

Race: Prehistoric beaver/Hyperbeing
Appearance: a toned beaver standing exactly 6 feet tall, with brown fur and dark brown eyes to match. His hands are larger in comparison to his body than a normal beaver’s, and his feet are less paddle-like. The claws on his feet are more pronounced as well.
He often wears a shiny silver armorweave cloak. When bright light shines on the cloak, it shines like many tiny diamonds were woven into it. The cloak is as light as air, and is capable of blocking moderate energy weapons.

Personality: Nuke is by nature less aggressive than other beings, instead preferring to focus on research and knowledge. He likes to observe and measure things, even if just for the sake of observing. He likes to find the order in things, to see just how things go together, and is quite proficient in doing so. To others, he usually seems like a very intelligent, yet quiet individual. This makes him very proficient at being the leader of his civilization. He has high moral standards, and doesn’t always approve of the ambitiousness and scheming of his friend Cindy. However he is loyal to his friends.
He will often be found observing and just taking in something, even though he understands it completely, such as watching the solar system in motion from very high orbit. One of the ways he improves upon his observation is through meditation. He will spend hours in calm silence, feeling the flow of energy through the universe, feeling the movement of stars and planets alike.
He also can be found working on designs for a new piece of technology. Many breakthroughs in the science and technology of his society are directly due to him.

Despite his more peaceful disposition, when his friends need his help, or his civilization is threatened, he is surprisingly quick to come to their aid on the battlefield. He is one of the few beings known to go into the condition known as righteous anger, where his anger at the pain caused by someone comes out. In these situations is where his power truly comes out, and he does things like blow up planets with a wave of his hand. While he doesn’t ever hold a grudge against an opponent and will gladly welcome them to live as him, he will be rather wary.


History: Nuke was once the leader of a very advanced civilization many cycles ago which had its origins on prehistoric Earth. He ruled for over 65 million years until his civilization vanished due to the Universal reset. He lived on however, and continued to live in the Outside.

Powers: Mastery of matter and energy manipulation. His power level would make him a god to lesser beings. He is capable of converting between matter and energy, able to create huge, complex objects in seconds. He can also affect the subatomic particles and their energy states, giving him control of the fundamental forces. This means he can break apart and fuse atoms together at will, create and destroy gravity wells of varying magnitude, and utilize the enormous amounts of energy inside of atoms. He is capable of moving particles, especially his own, at tremendous velocities, and even of teleporting them. He has energy sensing as well as matter sensing. He is also capable of affecting exotic matter and energies on a proficient level, such as magic and dark matter, but his main focus is atomic matter.
In addition to his matter/energy control, Nuke has expert mastery of the seven magical elements of fire, water, air, earth, light, darkness, and spirit. His prowess is such that he can do some magical battles with his elemental magic only.

Abilities: Nuke’s body is composed of a special substance called essence, which causes him to differ from regular creatures in that he lacks most internal organs normally found in living creatures such as a heart, stomach, lungs and digestive system. Instead, he has an internal energy that is tied to his power. Whenever he eats anything, or absorbs energy, it goes straight into this internal energy, strengthening him. This internal energy also means that he has no need to breathe, eat, or drink, although he can if he wishes. This internal energy also acts as a tensor field, holding the essence that makes up his body together and healing him automatically. This allows him to do feats such as fall from orbit and sit inside of stars.  
Nuke is capable of thinking at the speed of light, as well as being able to process large amounts of information at once. He is more than a match for a supercomputer. His memorization abilities are immense, making it possible for him to memorize the physics of the universe, as well as designs for warships and complex technology. He also has ultrafast natural reflexes, which are complimented by very acute vision, hearing, touch, and taste, as well as high strength. He also is extremely durable, capable of being shot and falling large distances and suffering no damage. He also heals visibly fast.


Strengths: Extremely proficient in swordsmanship, especially light swords such as the ketanna. Mastery of martial arts and acrobatics. Excellent at sports and physical activities.

Weaknesses: He has no defense against magical attacks that don’t have substance (he can only block things like magic missile or a fireball etc.) besides his durability. He also cannot utilize magical energies apart from the aforementioned magical elements, and he has difficulty with directly affecting macrokinetic energy (such as directly affecting the kinetic energy of a person running).

Other: Nuke carries a 6 foot tall staff, which was given to him by his friend Cindy. It is jet black, and covered with runes that normally glow a faint gold and change to the color of spell or energy he is using. It is composed of essence, and is capable of channeling and boosting Nuke’s powers when used. It is indestructible except by a being of extreme power, and is bound to him. He can put it away into thin air and pull it back out anywhere he goes because of this. Acrux

Name: Zaster Alenz

Gender: Male

Age: 50 (Thanatans age slower after adolescence, so he has the body of a 30-ish year old)

Race: Thanatan

Appearance: Zaster is a large imposing warrior standing at 7’4” and weighing something like 260 lbs. He is very strong and muscular, like any good warrior should be, and has long muscular arms. Zaster’s skin is pale white with peach-colored highlights on his cheeks, chest, and a few other spots, making him look rather odd and alien. Zaster is bald, with not a speck of hair on his head (save his eyebrows). His face is gaunt with sharp cheekbones and rather obvious bags under his eyes, as if he hasn’t slept in days. His eyes are black (not pure black, but his irises have no color to them) and are bloodshot and tired-looking. Zaster has an angular Romanesque nose and thin brown eyebrows. His arms are covered in series of black tattoos, and on the back of his neck is the tattoo of a black scorpion, its claws extended towards his head and its tail extending down his spine to the base of his shoulders. Zaster wears black dragonhide armor and a long black hooded cloak. hanging at his hips is a pair of scimitars and on his back is strapped a Great Scimitar. He has several throwing knives at his thick black belt as well as a backup dagger. Hanging around his neck is a necklace with a carved obsidian scorpion hanging from it by the tail. If Zaster were to remove his shirt, you would see several raking scars on the left side of his lower back. There is a similar scar on the right side of his collarbone and going down the inside of his left forearm.

Personality: Zaster likes to pretend that he doesn’t have one of these. He’s the brooding soldier, quiet and resolute, allowing his blades to do the talking. He’s never boastful nor arrogant, and often stays at the fringe of any group. He is extremely mentally tough, and was trained to feel no pain, emotional, physical, or mental. He seems to be lonely in general, but if you ask him if he is he will probably shoot you a dirty look and then pretend that you don’t exist. He bows to no one and never surrenders, no matter what. Unlike Ravencloak, Zaster doesn’t care who has to die in order for him to achieve his goal. He is completely 100% determined to wipe Mallis and every single one of his darklings out of existence. He seems to be constantly filled with rage, and almost always looks either angry or incredibly bored. He is prejudiced towards dragons (having killed them for ten years), and often won’t work with them. His hatred of dragons is nothing compared to his hatred for Mallis. As all Thanatan Knights were, Zaster is incredibly patriotic, and the thought of the deaths of his kinsmen shook him to his core. It is said that when everyone else has gone to bed Zaster sits at the top of one of the tower turrets, stares into the blackness of the void towards the universe his homeworld used to be, and weeps.

History: Zaster was born on the Thanatan homeworld of Auldrinor. When he was sixteen, Zaster joined the Thanatan army. He became a paige to one of the Thanatan Knights (Thanatan knights are like the Navy SEALs of the Thanatans. They deal with extreme threats to national security, like invading armies and dragons and such), a noble warrior known as Addron, and for many years served him as a minister. After seven years of being a paige, Zaster was put into training to be a Thanatan knights. Of his class of fifty students, only four got through; Zaster, Altris, Arthan, and Celis. The four became well-renowned as the best warriors in the land, and were nicknamed “The Four Horsemen”. Zaster never lost a fight and became a national hero. He had a supermodel wife with a heart of gold and two children, a boy named Luzor and a girl named Marala. He was living in a beautiful castle in the mountains, overlooking the grand rolling golden fields of the Thanatan Heartlands, and had more gold than the king. He specialized in dragon slaying, and had the heads of three dragons stuffed and hanging over his mantlepiece. Essentially, Zaster Alenz had a perfect life.

But everything changed when Mallis attacked. He quickly tore up the countryside, the old monster did, devouring everything in his path. The army could barely put a dent in his magical black army, and so the knights were deployed to neutralize him. A long and drawn-out battle, the knights defeated Mallis’ army of Darklings and attacked the beast himself. He completely destroyed them. Half of the 98 knights were slaughtered and the other half fled to defensive position in the mountains, in Zaster’s castle. Nothing stopped Mallis, though, and soon he consumed the place and everyone inside, Zaster’s family included (they wouldn’t leave him). The Four Horsemen, now reduced to three with the death of Arthan, fled the castle (Altris and Celis had to actually drag Zaster out because he wouldn’t leave his family). Nothing they could do would stop Mallis though. Fight after fight, Mallis defeated them. The empire soon crumbled, and with the fall of the Thanatan capital, Celis, Zaster, and Altris fled. They opened a portal to another universe but Mallis found them. Altris sacrificed his life so that Zaster and Celis could get away. For a long time Celis and Zaster wandered through many universes, simply hiding from the tyrant for as long as they could, but now that the resistance is here, Zaster has sworn revenge on Mallis for every life he took.

Powers/Abilities: Zaster’s primary ability is his supernatural speed. While he cannot move supernaturally fast when running or something of the like, when in combat Zaster moves like a blur and has reflexes faster than the human eye can see. He has superhuman strength as well (in the strength category he’s somewhere between Captain America and Thor). These combined make Zaster a formidable opponent on any battlefield. Zaster’s twin scimitars are infused with the venom of the legendary Thanatan Overlord Scorpion. The scorpion’s venom is magically charmed (so it can wound darklings) and causes necrosis. The great sword on his back is also a magical weapon charmed to burn red hot when in combat (so enemies are given burning cuts). The knives and dagger are made of dragon bone (I’m assuming that counts as a magic weapon?). Zaster’s armor absorbs magic in much of the same way as Ravencloak’s mantle does. Much like a timelord, if Zaster has been subjected to a deadly amount of damage, he regenerates explosively, throwing radiation into the air around him.

Strengths:
-Super fast reflexes
-super strength
-magic scimitars that cause necrosis
-a burning greatsword
-dragonbone weapons
-armor that absorbs magical damage
-the power to regenerate when he’s about to die
-cannot feel pain

Weaknesses: Firstly, Zaster can’t regenerate from anything. Any wound that kills him instantly (incineration, beheading, being eaten by darkness, bullet to the head) is unhealable, and anything that does continuous damage (deadly poison, burning to death, being flushed into the vacuum of space, etc). Also, if Zaster is mortally wounded while regenerating, he dies permanently. Another side effect of his powers is that he’s been trained not to feel pain. While that is a fantastic way to assure that your soldiers keep on fighting, it’s also a problem because Zaster could break his leg and not know it until he falls to the ground with a leg that looks like jello in a bag of skin.

I'm probably going to make Celis as well but I'm not feeling very inspired right now so I'll wait a bit.

Firstly I want to point out that we are dealing with two types of cowardliness. For one, Mallis does not trap attacks and make himself unharmable. He takes the hit like a man. He does not refuse to fight. Running away and trapping attacks to the point of invincibility are two completely different things. And part of his character is a small mix of cowardliness, but that occasionally makes for a good villain. Plus, there wouldn't have been so much running if so many other characters hadn't ganged up on him (though that is understandable, since there is my saying that Mallis isn't good at making friends).

Sairei is a prime example and will remain that way, and I honestly wish there were more characters like her. They are the ones who stand a good chance against Mallis. Not necessarily to say, I want more characters that can't die, but ones with large amounts f power. Power having it alone, not by armies or using clusters of people for it.

@Prussian: this is after Color. The Vale was destroyed just after Keros. But it was restored by Tharan and Sairei years later.


@Maxx: they are accepted. Though Keros does not have elves. But I remember that you made that character during the old KD RP, when it was allowed, so my apologies. I will accept it anyways.

Alright, here is Cindy's sheet. She is basically my equivalent of Sairei.....


Name: Cinder (Cindy)

Gender: female

Age: >7,120 years

Race: Ascended being

Appearance: Cindy looks like a dog which stands on its hind legs, with clawed hands and feet, similar to a werewolf. She stands exactly 5 feet tall, with jet black fur, and brown eyes which glow gold in the dark. She wears a cloak that seems to be made of liquid blackness in a cloth form. When needed, she wields a scythe into battle with a shiny silver blade and black handle.

Personality: Cindy has a very complex personality that seems to be full of contradictions. Normally, she is inclined to do good, and is very interested in learning and engineering. She loves to read ancient texts and build machines. However, Cindy is also very ambitious, which has led to her being such a powerful being. This sense of ambitiousness can cause her to tend toward an evil alignment, but when she is doing these things she usually has the well-being of her friends, her civilization, and herself at heart.
She also has a sense of humor that manifests itself at times in the form of practical jokes. She enjoys a good laugh, and is quite aggressive in a fight. She has a great deal of self-confidence, but contains it so she usually appears bold rather than cocky. She loves questioning things, especially if she thinks they could be better.

History: Cindy traces her origins back to the 21st century on Earth, where she first gained sentience through an experiment. After Earth was destroyed she was imprisoned for two thousand years, after which she was freed by Nuclean leaders. She established her own civilization, and eventually was able to seize her current powers. She ruled over her civilization until they disappeared in the universal reset, after which she took up residence in the outside in a giant station of her own creation.

Powers: Cindy has the power of universal manipulation. Her powers are essentially unlimited, and she has killed gods before with them. She can sense every detail of everything in her surroundings, and can change such things the time-space continuum, the fundamental forces, and the flow of matter and energy through the cosmos. She also is very well versed in every type of magic, including necromancy, creative and destructive magic, elemental magic, and summoning.
Her favorite attack is black lightning, which unmakes and erases everything it comes into contact with, including magic and space-time itself. Her other favorite attack is called Hellfire, which mixes her emotions, demonic fire, and fire magic into a flaming hellish fire that acts somewhat like a liquid which melts and consumes all it comes into contact with. It can be shaped into malevolent creatures and is so hot that is causes nearby particles to accelerate to the speed of light instantaneously. She also has a constant field around her which in which she can negate lesser beings’ powers.

Abilities: Due to being essentially a god and not having a mortal body, Cindy does not require food, water, nor air. Her essence body permits her to lift enormous objects above her head without using her powers. This also allows her to catch and crush swords with her bare paws, as well as take hits from energy weapons without being injured. Her consciousness is the source of her powers and she does not necessarily need a body to survive. Should her body get destroyed, she can simply create another or decide to not use one at all.  

Strengths: Cindy is a very skilled engineer, especially in the area of robotics. She is also well versed in physics, magic and ancient knowledge and tomes. She is an excellent pilot and personally invented and then went through multiple soldier combat training courses, making her a very proficient fighter.

Weaknesses: She tends towards a good alignment, and tries to be a hero and save people. This allows her to be manipulated sometimes.

Other: She wears the cloak of Death himself, which allows her to turn invisible to all but the most powerful beings. She also wields Death’s scythe, which acts as a channel for her powers and allows her to teleport anywhere that Death exists without using her powers. It also allows her to harvest souls from things. Excellent. This will most definitely be an interesting roleplay. Ravencloak will be able to hold his own, I believe (though Zaster will probably have to get put back together multiple times).

Well since my character's sheet is taking longer than expected because of how unexpectedly hard it was to summarize her 'backstory' in a non-spoiler-y way I'll just post her picture for now.

This is more of an experimental character. I mostly just wanted someone who's the polar opposite of Mallis, and I thought, "Ey, this is a weird idea, but let's try it anyway!"

Race: Starman. Starmen are the personifications of stars. They usually have two forms: The Starman, and the Physical. Her hair is actually more like a whole bunch of tentacles attached to her head, and in reality, do nothing except to help make it clear that she's a woman. Her eyes are perhaps the brightest part of her body, and glow a pure, brilliant white. She had five fingers on each hands, and is able to grab things in this form.

In her physical form, she's a dragon, not unlike those from Ophidian Vale. Her scales are snow white, and her eyes are a deep, powerful blue. She is a great flier in this form, and is about 46 feet long. She has a crest running down the ridge of his neck, back, and tail. At the end of her tail, she has three bones fused together at the end to create a small tail club. The club is 6" long, 9" long, and 6" in height. Her head is boxy, and has two spikes at the top corners, behind her eyes. She has a snake-like, two-pronged tongue.

Personality: Electra is very wise, like many starmen, as she has lived for more than a hundred million years. She has done many things from experience, and is very professional. However, she does have her flaws. She is prone to bouts of anger and, rarely, panic attacks. However, she is very nice and sympethetic to those who deserve it, and ruthless to, again, those who deserve it.

History: Electra was born in the heart of a star known as none other than Electra, in the Pleiades star cluster. She grew up being trained by her two older "brothers," Alcyone and Atlas. She travelled across the galaxy, meeting other Starmen and occasionally joining forces with them to do missions. She also spent some millions of years living among the inhabitants of planets, in some cases, unseen, and in other cases, almost murdered (Like in he case of earth.) When she was 120,000,000 years old, she was sent away by an elder starman, Eta Carinae, to leave the galaxy, and eventually the universe, to investigate "disturbances" far, far away from her home.

Electra used black holes to hop from universe to universe, until she reached one destroyed by Mallis. She had missed him a long time ago, and all Starmen here left their decaying home for a brighter future. Eventually, at the age of 129,999,937, she reached Ophidian Vale before Mallis had arrived. She stayed there, figuring that Eta Carinae wouldn't miss her being a few years late. She turned into her physical form, and lived among the dragons.

A few years later, she learned of trouble in the Vale. She went to investigate, and discovered that Mallis was starting to destroy the Vale. She realized that Mallis was the cause of these "disturbances" that Eta Carinae had mentioned, and followed the survivers to the Citadel in the middle of the void. She realized that she might never return to the Milky Way, and was stuck there.

Powers/Abilities: Electra, of course, has the ability to transform into a Starman, a powerful, ancient being. Her temperature while a starman is as hot as her host star's surface temperature, and as such, melts or burns away much of what she touches. She also has the ability to fly around using the sheer energy produced by her Starman form (You can't swim in a vacuum; you might need to improvise.)

Strengths: Also, while she's inside a universe, she and every other Starman is practically invincible. It's their home turf, after all, and they're made for it.

Weaknesses: While outside of a universe, the sheer nothingness tries to tear her apart. In a universe, she can be a starman her entire life. However, when in the void, they must stay in their physical form for long periods of time to "recharge"; it takes tons of energy to keep from falling apart.

Other: Yes, she's from this universe. Acrux.

I dunno. Not invincible. Well, NORMALLY she's invincible. I wouldn't have brought her out had I...


You know what, she's not invincible. Mallis could kill her, I suppose. Darkel asked for character who could take on Mallis, and I delivered.

Now we have three; Ravencloak, Electra, and Cindy.

That is if he accepts them

EDIT: I entered Cindy because Darky wants characters like Sairei. So I entered my equivalent of her (except my character has no reserves about using her power, unlike the aforementioned dragon).

The only problem I have with Cindy is the lightning. It seems to do pretty much what the Darkness does. And it's never good for a story to repeat things. And I don't mean make equivalents of Sairei, I just mean give them a lot of power without making them too godlike. But honestly any character wielding magic will do, as long as they keep with the story with strength. The people most likely to die are those without magic. Elemental characters are fine as well.

As for Electra, accepted.

The only similarity between the black lightning and the Darkness is that it is destructive. The similarity ends there. The black lightning is one of many powers at Cindy's disposel, and is basically a lightning version of the power of destruction. This means it unmakes, erases, and rips from reality everything, including magic and magic based substances, like the Darkness, matter and energy, souls, and everything in between. It's basically just like ripping something from reality, except in a lightning form.

Not only is that a copy of Sairei's power, that also is what the Darkness does. It undoes things but in part burns them up in an eating form.

Also I forgot to mention this earlier, the earth being destroyed in t history will conflict with my planned plot lines.

Well I didn't get it from Sairei. In fact I don't remember Sairei's lightning being able to unmake everything either. My point was the Darkness is magic based, and magic is erased by this

EDIT Cindy comes from a completely different metaverse than Mallis, so I wouldn't worry about the destruction of Earth

Sairei can rip things from reality. Lightning form or not, it's the same thing an will not be accepted.

So if Sarei could rip things out of reality, would paradox manipulation (a form of reality warping) be OP here?
