| Morbus and Emily Shelton General Information
Names: Morbus and Emily Shelton Genders: Male and Female Ages: 264 and 19 World Origin: Human Identities: Necrotic parasite and human
Height: 5'5" Weight: 108 lbs Eye Color: Dull grey Hair Color: Jet black with purple highlights Alignments: Morbus doesn't care whatsoever, Emily isn't even aware of the barrier's existence, but she'll likely be combine.
Personal Information
Appearance: Morbus shares Emily's body, and she looks absolutely wretched. Maybe even slightly scary. Bags under the eyes, deathly pale complexion, cold and clammy to the touch, regularly covered in grime. Those familiar with her overlook it since she's poor, a known drug user, and anorexic. Medically it doesn't add up though. According to a doctor she doesn't eat enough to survive, yet she's still walking, and has meat on her bones. There's next to nothing in the way of fat, but it doesn't appear like she's starving either. Her bones show through her skin enough to be considered on the unhealthy side, just not dangerously, or even extremely unattractively so. Now Emily is no looker, however if she got some color back in her face, lost the sleep deprived look, and maybe got cleaned up a little, she'd be presentable enough to at least be considered by somebody. As it stands, the effort she puts into her hair and cosmetics shows that she isn't completely careless about her appearance. Her hair is extremely long, ending inches past her knees. A haircut would be too expensive, and she doesn't care to cut it herself. Two tattered red ribbons at the back on her head divert it into a double ponytail. Days without bathing result in her strands being greasy, and filled with particles such as dirt. Smeared eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and chipped fingernail polish are evidence that she can get her hands on makeup from time to time, or that she uses it sparingly. Everything is in midnight black in color.
Nearly lobeless, meager sized ears stick out between the fringes on either side of her head. Her eyes are unusually big, rather far apart, more rounded on the outside, and pointed inside. They are often obscured by her bangs. Her pupils are abnormally large, and are dilated or contracted all the time. She has lofty eyebrows that reside upon an undefined brow bone, they're slender enough in proportion that they almost look like they were penciled on. Since she has a small forehead, there isn't much space above them to where her hairline begins. People say that her tiny pointy nose is so small that it's barely even there. Emily's mouth is large, her lips wide and thin. Dark stains cover the front of her otherwise decent teeth. The general shape of her jaw is somewhat angular, though her chin round and recessed. It's hard to tell that she has high cheekbones due to them not being very prominent. Her head is quite sizable, especially compared to her tall slender neck, and petite body. Scars from injections and self inflicted cuts litter her frail limbs.
All of Emily's clothes have been scavenged from places of charity, like the church, or the Goodwill if the town has one. She always goes for the nicest gothic clothing she can find, though nothing stays that way for long. Despite her situation, she is picky enough that few outfits meet her criteria. This leaves her with wearing the same clothes week after week, oftentimes day after day. Spots begin to collect, tears and holes accumulate. Pretty soon they aren't in very good shape anymore. That is if they were to begin with, after all you never know to expect from hand me downs. Sometimes what she grabs fits right in with her ragged wardrobe. Other times she finds something that's hardly been worn, like her new favorite bottom. A black frilly skirt that almost seems like part of a school uniform. She's been wearing it every day since she found it, and likely will until it appears no better than her rest. Even though it's faded and ripped, Emily considers her oversized Slipknot band shirt to be the best find in the world. Along with those she's been wearing her most prized pair of shoes, a pair a tall black leather combat boots as a way to culminate her satisfactory getup. They are the type meant for fashion that lace all the way up to the top in similar fasion to a corset, though the traction on the bottoms isn't just for show. They go nearly up to her kneecaps, and on the left side the sole is coming apart. An new spiked leather wristband that she wears on her right arm, and a black studded belt missing a number of studs make up her accessories. As far as jewelry she wears cheap die cast skull earnings, and a silver locket in the shape of a heart. Inside it resides a picture of her family with her fathers face scribbled out. It is the only expensive thing she owns.
Personalities: Morbus is completely self interested, and enjoys other's suffering. Even before he was aware of it, his very existence hinged upon inflicting pain, and leaching off of others. It's only fitting that he'd feel the same way with his drastically increased intelligence. It's how he survives, and there's no use fighting it. Of course it's gone from sustaining himself, to taking pleasure in the act. Now he goes out of the way to make his already miserable host more so. As of the moment his goal is to make Emily wish she were dead beyond the point she already did. So far it's working. He'll eventually deliver her wish, it will be on his own time though. Once she's finally come to grips with the new her, and after he sucked her dry. In his mind she is his puppet to toy with as he pleases. If he can torment those around her as well all the better. They say misery loves company, but he won't even grant her that. She was already doing a good job of pushing others away from her, and he'll do everything in his power to keep that trend going. Especially from the supernaturally wary. The less she knows, the more easily she is controlled. Then there's also a preservation factor. So far nobody has figured out how to liberate a host from his clutches without killing them, however if anyone were to it'd be by supernatural means. Most likely a Seer or Alchemist. While Morbus cares little for Emily, it is imperative that she remain intact until he's through with her. This takes presidence over all else, and will sometimes result in him 'saving the day' if you will. Just to make sure he isn't seen as having a guardian angel side, he always makes sure to make up for any perceived kindness with undue agony. On the other hand, anything non life threatening and she'll be left to her own devices. The exception is going unconscious, in which case he always can, and always will take her body for a spin.
Ever since Emily was enrolled in public school, she has been lonely, doubtful, and depressed. For the longest time she held onto the hope that things would get better, her mother leaving shattered that. Now when she chooses to walk the halls she feels utterly alone. With everything going on in her life openly bullying her is strongly reprimanded, but she can feel their stares, and hear them talking behind her back. She feels just as discouraged as she did years ago, which is a main contributor to her lack of self esteem. After so long of enduring it she keeps her head down, and goes about her business. Not everyone is bad, and many do try to help. Emily refuses all of it unconditionally. Anyone that tries is ignored and avoided. Once somebody called child help services from a larger city to come down to Edgehollow, she ran into the woods and wasn't seen for a day. It doesn't matter if they're sincere or not. They wouldn't approach somebody else like they do her. She doesn't want pity. All she wants is to be understood and accepted. Truthfully, the people she gets along with the best are those that fuel her addiction. Her dealers treat her like any other customer. In response she blocks out the world, and masks all her pain with substances. Teacher's never call on her anymore, both a blessing, and a curse. A reminder that she's a freak. They, like everyone that cared gave up on her eventually. Emily is able to keep her head down at the back of the class, draw freely, whatever she wants so long as it's nondisruptive. Art is one of the only things she truly enjoys or is good at in school. Sometimes she will only show up for that class. It's been proven verbally that she is actually quite bright, though does terrible on everything written. Reading, spelling, and math are equally poor. This makes her feel dumb, and quit before trying. Even on the most lenient individual education plans available, and graduation is still out of the question. Any desire to learn that she used to have wiped away by her troubles. Hardly anything or anybody can get her to speak anymore. She is simply along for the ride and doesn't care for interaction. Best not let anyone in least they be hurt.
Whether she likes it or not, Emily photographically remembers experiences, locations, and faces, while quickly forgetting factual information that she can't relate to. Good things past, like family trips, and the unfortunate events that took their place stand out in her mind foremost. Every memory only makes her feel worse about her current situation. What she wants above all else is a way out. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't wish she ended it sooner, while she still could. Second to that is wishing that her father's accident was fatal. Surely her mother wouldn't have abandoned her then, and that way her impression of her dad would be unstained. In the days that she used to call him dad. It was shock more than sadness that kept her from going anywhere after his untimely demise. Since then she hasn't shed a single tear for him. Before she had nothing to lose, now even more so. However, she harbors a fear of hurting anybody else. Her original train of thought after discovering that she couldn't kill herself, was to make a difference, and run wild. Do reckless things like interrupting muggings, or robbing higher class storefronts than normal. All that has changed. The door was locked that night, which leads her to believe that she was responsible for the ghastly scene. Murdering him had crossed her mind on several occasions, except nothing human would have torn him apart like that. As a result she believes that not only would world be better off without her, but that each breath she takes put her one step closer to causing somebody harm. Recent hallucinations have also convinced her that she's insane.
Biographies: Morbus's origin is unknown. The mostly likely scenario is that like some single celled organisms can append their DNA, a simple parasite was exposed to the otherworldly energy beyond the barrier. Very similar to a meta-human. However, he exhibits some demon like characteristics. This suggests the intentional, or unintentional meddling from their kind. Anyways, in the first year of his new life he found himself a human host and began to feed off of him. Morbus ended up living and growing much past the normal lifespan of any dependent creature. Towards the end of his first victims life, he developed near sentience. Over the years he jumped from one person to the next leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. As he grew in strength and intelligence, he started having preferences. His favorite targets became the downtrodden of society, particularly women. It is as such that when he killed his former host, whom he priorly compelled to move to Edgehollow, Emilly was a prime target.
In her earlier years Emily had a pleasant life. A loving stay at home mom, and a hardworking dad. In preschool she was diagnosed as dyslexic, so her mother quit her job to home school her. On the other hand, her dad worked on a oil rig up in Alaska. She'd see him off and on for about six weeks at a time. He was always very loving of the two of them, and they'd often go on trips to experience the world outside of small Edgehollow. Everything was nice, everything was simple. That is until at age twelve an accident at work injured her fathers back. It was severe enough that they wouldn't let him return. Now he was a high school dropout, and didn't have any experience outside of manual labor. After months of fruitlessly looking for a job, Emily's more educated mother was forced to go back to work. This drove him to the breaking point, and he began to drink regularly. Poor Emily was forced to go to the town school, where she tested two grade levels bellow her age. She was socially awkward with children her age from homeschooling, and made fun of for many reasons. Being the oldest in her grade, dressing like a kiddie, not knowing swear words, believing in Santa, you name it.
Even with her mom now working, they still couldn't support their former lifestyle. This resulted in them moving into trailer. One day she came home to hear her parents arguing about her dads drinking habit. This continued on for a long time slowly deteriorating the lively household that once was. The situation at school only got worse. Emily turned to wearing dark colors, hardly eating, and cutting herself. Not long after her sixteenth birthday a deeper downward spiral started with the shattering of a whiskey bottle against the wall, followed by her mother taking the one car they didn't sell, and leaving to never return. Her father turned his anguish and sadness on Emily, which in combination with her mother's departure rocked her to the core. She started to skip school, and not come home every night. Instead choosing to sleep in an alley, or on a bench than face her dad. In absence of being provided for, she began to show up to school again for the food, scavenge from the trash, and steal. Looking for a way to end the pain, some of her pawned money, or stolen goods were traded for substances. Cigarettes, alcohol, and any sort of drug she could get her hands on. Never once did she cry out for help, and she denied that which was offered to her. Then slowly she stopped being as tired, hungry, sensitive to pain, and less influenced by her narcotics. It all was replaced by a hollow, empty feeling. At first she just thought it was side effects and tolerance kicking in.
The first time she knew something was truly wrong with her was when she tried to take her own life using a handful of Vicodin taken with vodka. She woke up the next day feeling exactly the same as usual. Next she tried jumping from the highest, most discrete rooftop she could find. She hardly felt a thing, and was able to get right back up. Something was keeping her from dying. At age eighteen she skipped out months since she was legally an adult. Finally she returned home, to find her father drunk as ever. He started going off about how ungrateful she was, and started getting violent. The last thing she remembered was him strangling her against the wall, and she must have passed out. When she awoke what awaited her was like a scene from a horror movie. His body had been horribly mangled and strewn about. It didn't even resemble a human, let alone her dad. For two weeks she didn't leave the trailer at all, and after that she continued on like normal. Except she returned back there each night. She never cleaned it up either. Flies fill the air, and rot has well set in. Emily can't smell it, and she doesn't care anymore. None will be the wiser until the rent is so overdue due that the landlord gets a police officer with a warrant to investigate. Lately she's been hearing voices in her head, and seeing things that aren't there.
Families: Morbus has no family. Emily's father is deceased, and her mother is out there somewhere. No relatives are known to her, or they'd likely have taken her in.
Relationships: None worth mentioning.
Skills and Abilities
Skills: Morbus is adept at manipulating his hosts, and those around them. When it comes down to it he can be a convincing bargainer. One of the reasons he's still alive after encounters with prejudiced Demons/Fay instead of being killed as an abomination. Emily doesn't have a whole lot going for her, with dyslexia, and life problems. Not sure if it counts as a skill, but she has extremely good hearing. Aside from that, her foremost talent is art, particularly sketching. In combination with her photographic memory of experiences, locations, and faces, she can create intricate drawings in record time. In under ten minutes she is capable of creating images detailed enough to be used in an investigation. Additionally, she is able to solve puzzles with visual aspects many times without any practice or special training. This extends to things like rubix cubes, traditional locks, and combination locks. Given the right tools and time she can typically breach all but the most modern security (high grade locks, electronic locks, fingerprint scanners, etc). Finally, Emily is a thoroughly convincing liar when she wants to be, and is very street smart.
Powers: Morbus can communicate telepathically with his host, and anyone within twenty feet. This is also the range for his blindsight and supernatural detection, which allow him to sense the environment in all directions. He also gains complete access to the memories of anyone he's bonded with and can exercise limited senses manipulation over them. Furthermore, he remembers absolutely everything, and is capable of replicating and sharing his knowledge with his host or anyone in contact with his host. Anything from factual information, to learned skills is fair game. The nature of the symbiotic relationship confers a number of undead-like traits to otherwise ordinary Emily. So long as he remains inside her body, she gains defunct physiology and a strong regenerative healing factor (to the state she was in when she was first infected, the reason why her scars haven't healed). This hardens her tissue, deadens her nerves, and removes physical vulnerabilities. An added benefit is anatomical liberation. Also, she has no need for food, water, rest, or even air. All poisons, sicknesses, diseases, and drugs have no effect on her. Due to lack of necessary bodily functions she can be completely silent if she stops moving, and she doesn't show up on infrared. The range on being picked up on with supernatural detection is greatly limited as well, meaning that Demons/Fay and Seers have to be in much closer proximity to identify Morbus within Emily. His aura is unlike any other. It's like the energy level of a fully transformed demon is being contained in several cyst like anomalies inside her body. However, it is of something distinctly different, being closer to a meta-demon hybrid if such a thing could exist. Once within conversational range it stands out so much that it's impossible to ignore.
Given the right circumstances Morbus can take over Emily's body and reveal his true and terrible capabilities. He has mastery of neurotically infused nosokinesis, or disease manipulation. First off he can detect and control natural diseases. Accelerate them, boost their potency, increase their contagiousness, or cure them entirely. Next he is able to propagate and spread his own breed of contagion. A necrotic bacteria that can travel through just about any medium, air, water, blood, and so on. Anyone in contact with it begins to slowly die. Cell death is induced in ordinary creatures, Demons/Fay turn to dust. Morbus gains strength from this similarly to the way he is sustaining himself by turning Emily into a corpse. Lastly, he can create undead nosokinetic constructs and body attachments. These can be appendages, implements, weapons, armor, barriers, pretty much anything that can be created from cellular organisms. Material properties can be similar to that of flesh, bone, keratin, or chitin. Attacks made by these bypass supernatural damage reduction. Morbus will commonly severely augment Emily's body and create a giant organic suit of sorts. When in contact with the ground, or something connected to the ground he has tremor sense.
Strengths: -Tough to kill Emily. -Isn't afraid of very much. -Impossible to slay Morbus (thus far) without killing innocent Emily. -Has some stealth factors. -Powerful and versatile when unleashed.
Weaknesses: To start off with, Emily has a ton of personal issues resulting from dyslexia and her past experiences. In addition she is physically small and weak; incapable of lifting very much, or running fast. All of it's already outlined in her personal information, so I'm not going to further clutter this section. Morbus has very short supernatural detection range, Emily has none. He isn't very open to sharing his knowledge, and can't really affect anyone other than Emily unless he's in control. Moving on to that, he is unimpeded by the barrier, instead he has to break through his hosts will. There are only three ways he can gain control. When Emily is truly fearful, gives consent, or is unconscious. Here is where some of the abilities he grants her puts him at a disadvantage. Number one, Emily is afraid all the time, but not in the manner he needs. It has to be something like life or death. The only problem is that she wants to die, and after realizing that she can't (as far as she knows) nothing puts her in that position anymore. What could is another being in danger, but nobody is close enough to her for it to make an opening for Morbus. Number two, Emily isn't aware of the parasite within her. As of the moment she thinks that she a monster and that she's going insane. Consenting would requite her to be wary of him, and to give in knowing that he's probably going to kill someone. Even with all the pain she's been through, she wishes harm upon no one. Third, with her undead physiology there only one way for her to go unconscious. Extreme head trauma. Strangulation may have worked in the case with her father, except that was before her condition progressed to the point of not needing air. She also doesn't sleep anymore. Emily might not feel physical stress, however being her is far from fun. Her senses of taste and smell are severely degraded as a result of redundant nerves. In place of need for sustenance she feels a hollow type of agony at all times. The best way to describe it is that her soul is slowly being gnawed away. Last thing for this section is she can't freely detach her limbs with anatomical liberation. They have to be forcefully severed, though they can be reattached at will.
Morbus is killing Emily, and every time he emerges it takes months off her already shortened lifespan. When in control, he can be detected as easily as a Demon or Fay in their true form. He lacks supernatural damage reduction and can be damaged normally by all sources. While capable of influencing natural diseases, he is unable to create them himself. His death inducing virus can be combated in a number of ways. Firstly it stems from him, and takes time to travel. The contagion's success is entirely at the mercy of it's mediums flow. For example, changing the airflow while its airborne can redirect the disease. It will never reach someone upwind or up current. Physical barriers also work. Next, damaging area affects like fire will destroy it outright. If it does reach somebody it's not so fast acting that they couldn't potentially defeat Morbus before it's too late, or simply clear the area. Lastly, the power he gains turning living things into husks is temporary, and needed to continue the effect. He won't be able to continue producing the plague without anything to drain, and what he's already released will disintegrate into dust on it's own.

| Nikki Biyung "The Swarm" General InformationName: Nikki Biyung ("The Swarm")Gender: Female Age: 18 World Origin: Human Identity: Meta-human Height: 5'4 Weight: 114 Eye Color: Amber Hair Color: Jet Black Alignment: Barrier Personal InformationAppearance: Nikki is a girl that doesn't appear like the average female. Whether it's her boyish facial features, or her lack of feminine features. It can be hard to tell that she's female sometimes. But an observant eye can definitely say that she's female. Nikki appears very tomboy-ish, to the point where she's near androgynous. Her facial features mostly appear to be male. She has a slim build, that's slightly muscular, but won't impress anybody. She lacks that desired female figure, instead it's a straight figure that lacks curves (Flat chest and butt), and is generally masculine. While she's short in terms of height, her arms and legs are notably long, and she has large, bony fingers. Nikki is an obviously Asian girl, of specifically Korean roots. Her skin is a light-yellow color, that's not exactly perfect. Her skin isn't perfectly clear, since she has plenty of scars on her body, and her knees are pretty scared from falling over as a kid. In terms of looks, Nikki can be called pretty, but she isn't winning any beauty pageants. She does look a bit boyish, but definitely female. Nikki's head is oval shaped and very rounded, her facial features are dull and rounded too. Nikki's cheeks are very notably large and round, but smooth, blending into her face well. They are often the first thing people notice about her. She has small lips, that aren't very girly or anything like that. Nikki has a medium sized nose, that's very pointed at the tips, and her nostrils are very small, and C-shaped. Her ears are medium sized, but notable round. Nikki's forehead is very big, and often the butt of jokes. Because of her heritage Nikki's eyes are small, slanted, and a brown color. Nikki's hair is jet-black, and short. She keeps it in a high-profile style, and a bit of it brushed over the left side of her forehead. Personality: Nikki is a rather noble and kind person. She lived her life as a loner, and it shows in how she behaves around people. She's shy, rarely speaks, and is quite hesitant, when around strangers. She keeps to herself most of the time, and tries to appear serious as possible. However, when around people; she's much warmer and much more receptive. She can be seen smiling and generally acting cheerful, and playing around like a girl her age shouldn't be. Nikki is nice and warm to just about everyone when they haven't done anything to provoke her. But despite this, she isn't far away from socially awkward, and really lacks confidence. Nikki is a very open minded isn't bothered by issues like homosexuality and transgender-ism. She doesn't judge people based off such things, and is willing to try things. When the time comes, she's much more serious, and is a very focused person. Thinking through decisions greatly. Her weakness comes when she doesn't have time to think, only time to act. Which can cause her to mess up things. When provoked, she can be quite aggressive and lash out at the aggressor. And she can get super pissed off. To the point where she throws out logic and says/does something she'd regret later. Merely because she's put up with things that caused her great stress and emotional harm, and she doesn't like anymore. Nikki also has a habit with holding grudges against people - Because once they've pissed her off, they'll have to try their damn near hardest to redeem themselves. Nikki is a... bored girl. She was bored with her current life, and where she feared it was going. Which is why she's decided to take up the mantle of a vigilante. Not just for heroic reasons, she just wanted some excitement in her life. It's a rush to be out there fighting crime. Fighting demons and beating up criminals. Which satisfies her boredom with life, and she's making the place a better place. However, that boredom and displeasure has seeped into her work as a hero. Sometimes she feels like things aren't going to get better as hard as she tries, and she's only wasting her time. On top of that, she fears the excessive damage she does whenever she gets into a fight. In terms of D&D morality, Nikki can be classified as Chaotic or Neutral Good. On one hand, Nikki tries her best to appear as the ideal person that makes the best choices and saves everyone. On the other hand, she isn't the ideal hero. She is a Anti-hero in a way. She won't let rules get in her way, nor does she have many inhibitions preventing her from killing an especially dangerous man. But only when there seems to be no other choice, will she resort to these drastic means. Biography: Prepare yourself for complete sub-parness! Since I suck at backstories. Nikki's grand-parents, Jin-Ho & Mi-Cha Biyung, were north Korean immigrants that moved to American several decades ago, along with their child Su-Ming (Nikki's mother). There, they had another child, Lisa Biyung. Their two children eventually met their loves, and had children of their own. Su-Ming met a Korean man in America named Young Jae, married, and had two children, Nikki and Micheal Biyung. Her aunt Lisa Biyung married into a English family known as the Blackmores). Moving on, Nikki was raised in Illinois, with her family. She didn't exactly have a great time growing up, due to her powers subconsciously attracting large quantities of insects to her. Which made it difficult for her to really connect to people, but she never saw the insects as a real hindrance, nor was she afraid of them. It just hindered her ability to play with other kids. To say the least, she had a less than stellar time in Kindergarten. As her ability developed, it made it difficult to participate in school or stay in one place too long, as the swarm got bigger, and more aggressive and protective of her. To the point where she had to be pulled out of public school, and placed into home school. Where there were less of a risk of her harming people. That said, there isn't much remarkable about her back story. There was a natural progression of events, as Nikki aged, she received a normal-ish education, but could never get social skills down. She lived far away from other homes, in a place that had a large yard, thus she could go outside and interact with the very arthropods that she had attracted. There she got an idea that she was different from everyone else. Still, for a good deal of her life, she remained the dark little secret of the Biyung family. When she was ten a pedophile had targeted Nikki. While she was playing in her yard, he came up and tried to snatch her out. She was utterly terrified, and couldn't help but scream. The swarm that she constantly attracted was subconsciously ordered to attack him. A few hundred insects that covered his entire being in less than a few minutes. Wasps, bees, cockroaches, ants, beetles - Everything chewing his entire body. Injecting him with as much poisons as they could. He was dead shortly. By that, Nikki's mother and father came out and helped her. It was near impossible explaining that he was killed by a swarm. That event changed Nikki, and became a defining moment. That was when she finally realized that there was more to the insects than she believed; that she was special. Then Nikki wondered if she could control it. She became even more detached from the social life, but dedicated that time to learning about her power. Spending the next few years training herself to use her power. Which had impressed her, Nikki had learned that she could do so much stuff with her powers, and by an extension arthropods. She could even prevent them from subconsciously coming to her. By the time she was 15, Nikki had a relative grasp on her powers. Then she requested that she attends school. After a few months, the school year started, and she began high school. High school wasn't easy. Especially since she had rather poor social skills to begin with. Nikki was no less of a loner in high school than she was in home school. Getting shunned and ignored by whoever, even getting her own circle of bullies. Fortunately, she managed to make a few friends in high school, and avoided any and all incidents regarding her power. But still had problem when it came to the social scene. Plus, she was already pretty bored, itching to use her power when she's devoted so much time to training. Nikki decided to put that training to good use. She turned to being a vigilante, you may say. Every night, she went out wearing a hoodie, and used her powers to prevent crimes. Criminals would be found covered in hornet and bee stings, or placed into a cocoon of webs. At first, Nikki was nervous, but in the end, it really helped her. Nikki was much more confident, and did something to alleviate the energy. Despite coming home tired as hell and sometimes; she was doing better when it came to her confidence and stood up to her bullies. Though Nikki got her ass kicked when it came to the latter. When dark spirits and demons came into play... Well, heh, that's when things got interesting... Family: The Biyungs are a family of Korean Immigrants who have moved to America. It consists of her mother Su-Min, her father Jin-Ho, her aunt Lisa Biyung (Now married into a English family known as the Blackmores), and brother Micheal Biyung. Fortunately, Nikki has the luxury of a kind family, so she stays in good terms with them. Relationships: Meh Skills and AbilitiesSkills: Nikki has a little bit of skills under her belt. For starters, she's very perspective, intelligent and logical, and putting those together means that she can figure things other. It also comes with an innate observantness that allows her to pick up details. On the more of a sporty side, Nikki has played Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer, and it has really improved her speed and footwork. She runs fast like an athlete would. Another part of her athletic skill is that she's a very good climber, though most of the things she had to climb were trees. Nikki is also a practitioner of Karate, and has reached Red-belt status. Though, she hasn't practiced in ages, she still remembers enough to get her through it. Under other noncombat skills, Nikki knows how to draw, knit clothing very well, can play the guitar and the flute, and gymnastics. Powers: ... BUUUGS Macro-Arthropodkinesis. Nikki has the powerful ability to control Arthropods (Insects, Arachnids, etc) on a large scale. She can sense all arthropods on a large scale, tell what kind of insect they are, and at will control them to make them follow her every wish. This ability allows her to sense what they sense. This power is large scale, thus, she can control thousands of insects at a time and she can control insects from miles away from her. Nikki's degree of skill with this ability is so high that she can individually give commands to the insects. Arthropod-Biology Manipulation. Nikki's secondary power is easily her most dangerous one. She can alter the biology of any insect within a ten foot radius. Allowing herself to completely redefine their biology to anything within reason. Make them larger, make them poisonous, etc. I am good with bugs, so I (think I) know what I'm doing. And just to clarify, she CAN'T do this a lot, so no armies of poisonous, two foot large, butterflies. ... Psst... Both of these abilities are somewhat connected to her emotions. Gift of the Seer. Due to a combination of constantly being attacked by Dark Spirits, AND staying in the presence of a Seer for awhile, Nikki has a slight ability to detect the supernatural, long as they are undisguised. Strengths: - BEEES!!! - Has immense physical power and combat capabilities - Can overwhelm foes - Very versatile - Can use her insects to spy on enemies - Very skilled at fighting and other physical gifts. Weaknesses:- Fire is very effective against bugs - It'll take time for Nikki to gather an effective swarm - The more insects that Nikki control, the less fine control she has over them - Killing a large amount of insects at once will cause Nikki a mental shock - Changing an arthropods biology requires concentration, not completing the process will kill the arthropod. | Short sheet. FROG THE WORLD
General Information
Name: Morgyn Layne
Gender: female
Age: 16
World Origin: human
Identity: Meta-human
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 110 lbs
Eye Color: light brown
Hair Color: dark brown with blonde streaks dyed into it
Alignment: neutral
Personal Information
Appearance: Morgyn is tall and a bit underweight for a girl of her height, only not to an unhealthy extent. Most of her height is from her long legs, in fact, so she doesn't seem that skinny. She has a circle-shaped face and large, light brown eyes. She is Caucasian American and has a dark tan from spending a lot of time outside, with freckles scattered through her body. Morgyn has a small nose and average-sized lips with a pointed chin. Her usually plain, dark brown hair has blonde streaks dyed into it. Her strait hair extends a few inches past her shoulders and is usually kept up in a ponytail. Morgyn has a petite build to her though she is very athletic and should have a more muscular build to her.
Clothing wise, Morgyn usually wears some Nike shorts and a t-shirt that says some school club on it or sport’s team. She is a very athletic person and makes sure that everyone knows it by proudly wearing athletic clothing. Morgyn also wears either flip-flops or some tennis shoes to top off the look. She doesn’t wear accessories besides a few cheap rubber bracelets on her left wrist and a black and pink titanium necklace. As for makeup, Morgyn wears none. She doesn’t carry a purse or bag of any kind-she just keeps everything in her pockets. She does sometimes carry around a backpack, however, for some things and a lot of the times wears a sweatshirt with shorts, as unusual as it may seem at times.
Personality:
Family: I'm just gonna put down her relatives here but not their names then I'm gonna list those who are dead in the family XD Mom Dad 2 aunts 2 uncles 2 sisters 1 brother 1 Grandmother 2 grandfathers 12 cousins - Deceased: One Grandmother, one uncle, and two cousins
Relationships: Morgyn has a couple friends. None worth mentioning
Skills and Abilities
Skills: Morgyn is something of an overachiever in school activities. She plays several school sports, from soccer to softball to basketball. For grades, she is an A/B student (mostly B’s) but is in several clubs. Morgyn is also someone who likes to socialize a lot. She enjoys talking and let’s just say her contact list has several people on it.
Powers: Morgyn's power has something to do with controlling attention. She can choose if she wants anyone within a distance of 20 feet to look at her or not. Basically, if she doesn’t want people to look at her, everyone who looks her way wouldn't notice her- it would be more of seeing someone out of the corner of your eye, like you couldn't focus on the one area she was standing at. If she wants everyone to be watching her or paying attention to only her, then everyone would suddenly feel the urge to keep their eyes on her. It's a simple, uncommon power, I guess, but it seems fun to use in an rp XD
Strengths: Morgyn of course has her power that makes can be considered a strength, but she is also athletic and is good at sports, as mentioned earlier. She is also goo at socializing, as also stated earlier. I'm not good at sheets so I'm going to stop here XD
Weaknesses: Power-wise, there are some major flaws in Morgan's ability. First of all, her power only works on those within twenty feet of her. Also she can't control who is within twenty feet of her, so basically she can't control who she uses her power on. If you are near her when she uses her power, you are affected. The only way to get around this is also a weakness, however- if one is touching Morgyn when she activates her power, then her power won't work on them. Also there is the classic, "the longer her power is use the more energy it takes" weakness. I think that's just about it.
Personality-wise in the weakness area, Morgyn can seem overly-confident at times and seems to think she can take on anyone. She, thus, is also very competitive. Also Morgyn can become annoying at times with how much she talks. That's just about it- I suck at character sheets -w-'

| General Information
Name: Ned Arach
Gender: Male.
Age: 28
World Origin: Barrier
Identity: Meta Human
Height: 6'0 (25'7)
Weight: 166 lbs (38,000lbs)
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Jet Black (N/A)
Alignment: Combine.
Personal Information
Appearance: Ned is a relatively handsome young man who gives off an unapproachable aura. Not necessarily based off of an intimidation factor, but more based upon his odd way of carrying himself. He appears as a taller white male in his late twenties who seems to analyze things before acting. He is the quiet one, per say. He is thin for his height and lean in figure. He wears simple candor clothing. Black and white. Nothing that would define him in a crowd. Nothing a white shirt, a black jacket some black leggings and some black white and grey shoes cant handle.
Monster form: Ned become an absolutely monstrous creature, up to nearly twenty six feet tall and weighing several thousand pounds. His monster form dominates the battlefield, which is the only time it is called to use. Incredibly dense armor lines it's entire body, it's only true weak spots being it's head and chest. Four legs sprout from it's body, each with a giant talon used for climbing or walking. It's main offensive weaponry being it's large front talons which are used for stabbing or slicing. It's jaws are lined with up to six rows of teeth that going into it's throat. Following it's body downwards leads to potentially it's most dangerous asset. An abdomen capable of releasing small amounts of a noxious gas into a certain area. It's makeup makes it heavier than oxygen, and is much like Carbon Dioxide in the fact that it will suffocate you if you remain in it, and remains at your level due to it's weight being heavy. It is a read mist like substance that is very fast to act, but also very fast to petter out once out of the cloud. It's other abdominal ability is that it is asexual in this form, and therefor can reproduce on it's own. This creature has the ability to lay eggs that will spawn drone creatures (this ability is passive and will not be used in combat. However it is relevant to his viewpoint). He does however have some protector drones that follow him from the shadows or from the sewers he can call on in either form to defend him should the need be.
Here's my idea of him: Click me!
Personality: He owns three Scorpions and two different species of Tarantula. Along with many exotic reptiles. Enough said.
Biography: Its a secret.
Family: He's a monster. He ate his family.
Relationships: Unimportant. He's single and will most likely remain that way because of his odd nature.
Skills and Abilities
Skills: Rhetoric is his strong suit. He enjoys sarcasm and his ability to convince with the art of language. He is also practiced in the art of stealth. He tends to avoid conflicts as his high center of gravity and low weight usually will become his downfall. His only real combat related skill is his expertise with a home made Tonfa.
Powers: Ability to transform into a huge spider monster that will ruin your day.
Strengths: Good with a tonfa and a speech-craft genius. Has drones to call on if needed.
Weaknesses: Isn't a combat guy, to huge to fit in small places in monster form, not exactly fun to be around at any time. Creepy personality wise as people define him as spider-like.
Other: He is not evil, despite supporting the combine. He is the patriarch creature of a currently nonexistent hive that can support hundreds of millions of all terrain drones that will instinctually adapt to every environment. He wants the barrier lowered and the humans extinct so he can begin this... Super swarm. They are terminators. This is not an evil based cause. This is his nature, his drive for existence. A Queen Ant is born to start a new hive. A hive born monster will do anything in it's power to fulfill it's instinctual purpose. While you humans might have Mixed feelings about this, he is not truly evil, but an enemy all the same. Although, he will call a truce if it benefits him.
-Yes, I have permission from Vipera to have a drone or two follow him around for protection if need be. | |

| General Information
Name: Behemoth, goes under the alias of Ben.
Gender: Male.
Age: 352 years old.
World Origin: Even the wall couldnt stop him.
Identity: Earth Demon
Height: 6'10 (16'8 )
Weight: 292lbs (19,000lbs or 9.5 tons).
Eye Color: Blue, iris-less in his other form.
Hair Color: Darker brown. (N/A)
Alignment: Neutral.
Personal Information
Appearance: Ben is a huge person. He's no Jao Ming in height, but he's bigger than most NFL football players in terms of size as a person. He's just BIG. He's very well built, we're talking Arnold Swarzenegger muscle mass. He has short cropped dark brown hair and a square face. He has a Go-T running along his jawline and chin. The left side of his body is patterned with celtic tattoos, which runs from his collar bone to his fingertips. Ben is built like Shaquille O'Neill, except slightly shorter in height.
Forget description. This is his beast form.
Personality: Ben is a comfortably quiet and collected individual. By no means a dark horse, and not nearly as annoying as Pink is. He likes to define himself as approachable and has a deep and mature voice. He also hopes to forge a friendship with his counterpart despite her less than ideal qualities when it comes to people, and unlike what people make think he does respect her as a counterpart and entity, and holds no wish to destroy her. They are a balance after all.
Biography: He's old. That's all that's worth knowing.
Family: Irrelevant.
Relationships: Connected to Leviathan. Not through romance or friendship, but counterparts are counterparts.
Skills and Abilities
Skills: Surprisingly intelligent for someone as big as he is. Well rounded in terms of knowledge on the barrier and it's contaminants. He is also very good with most forms of armed combat. Unlike Leviathan who prefers bladed weaponry, he likes to use blunt weaponry to inflict the blunt force trauma you always hear about.
Powers: Unlike Leviathan, he only has one alternate form, being his beast form. However this beast form is more beast than hers. His beast form is like a juggernaut, extremely strong and extremely well defended. It is also very large in size.
His abilities range from form to form, although in beast form his strengths gain tenfold. In both of his states, he has the ability to earthbend like he's someone out of Avatar: The Last Airbender. However while in beast form he has the ability to create small scale earthquakes and fissures. Nothing greater than a category five earthquake, which is defined as being able to: "Cause damage of varying severity to poorly constructed buildings. At most, none to slight damage to all other buildings. Felt by everyone. Casualties range from none to a few."
Although, this power would probably be used in an area of 2-4 on the Richter scale. Because if would be coming from him and not from tectonic plates it would be less of a massive large scale smash and more of a heavy tremor in his general area (Probably going no farther than a hundred yards or so in every direction before dissipating out). As for fissures, which are splits in the ground, I wouldnt expect anything larger than four feet wide and fifteen to twenty feet deep going at a maximum of 100 feet in a single direction. Nothing that you couldnt jump over if you knew it was there, however they do travel relatively fast and can leave you a sitting duck for a lava ball if caught in one. These will close up after a few hours on their own.
Strengths: -Can control the land, cause earthquakes, fissures, can pretty much earth-bend in both human and monster form. -Weather normally grows warmer in his presence. Humidity will rise instead when in Leviathan's presence. -Vomits Lava
Weaknesses: -Being in wet areas limit his power. -Rain is the bane of his existence as he is almost powerless in it. -Takes time to transform. Even more so than Leviathan. -Fortunately he doesnt need to be on land a given amount of time every few hours, but being in water for a long enough amount of time will hinder his abilities. -Slow as a snail until he gets into a charge. Then he's just a freight train.
