Ok I'm trying quite desperately to find something that interests all of you. Or some of you at least. I'm thinking of actually opening up the fantasy RP after spending a long time mulling over the details. But I need to know if anyone would be interested.
One of my big problems as a GM is forgetting to put certain important things inside the OPs or making things sound confusing. I do need to work on this, and I think I've got it all planned out. I do need practice as a GM.
So the RP I have in mind is set in a world I've made up called Myria. I won't blab on the long history of the world, I'll explain that in the thread. But the basic plot idea is that the characters will be from a variety of races from a variety of nations spread across several continents in the center of Myria, called the Heartlands. Some of these races include Orcs, Drow, Minotaur, Cyclopes, Troll, Ogres, Furies/Harpies, Centaur, Satyrs/Fauns, elves, dwarves, etc. There will also be a few made-up races in there. So there's a lot to choose from.
The plot will mainly be about the tensions arising between the nations. During all of the war that arises, some nations will break and new ones will be born. And some interference by Myria's gods, the Myros along the way, which causes even more problems.
I have a lot more planned. Things involving bands of warlocks and evil versions of Nymphs, dragon uprisings, necromancers, and strange alternative dimensional creatures. Lots of stuff, but I figured I would just briefly mention the highlights. Although, I would like to make it kinda sand-box-ish, so that I'm not forcing everyone to do it my way. It would be great to have you guys help shape the plot with me.
So before I go waste my time and make a thread that gets a sheet from Vipera and that's it, is ANYONE interested?
