| Eh, I'm sure Darkel just forgot to unban him when he was resetting the forum. Surely it's something that can be fixed relatively quickly. | |

| Regardless of intention, I took it upon myself to unban him. I don't think there will be any problems with it, and if you guys know anyone else who needs to be unbanned, let me know. So, it should be fixed now.
Note that there are still people banned due to spam, giving out personal information to harass users, and other more serious issues. For those users, unless there's a good reason, I won't unban them.
By the way, Pokemon Go was the reason I haven't been here as much as I should be.

| To be honest, although I love the fact that it seems to have made people more active and helped small businesses increase their sales, a part of me is also terrified of what Nintendo has unleashed upon the world.
Also, Sar, Pasta looks amazing. I wish I could make custom skins for models and stuff like that, but whenever I try, textures for my models always start repeating. Also, I know how you feel about the whole public server thing. I don't play TF2, but it really is hard when you're looking for servers to find people who can do a lot of stuff, but won't destroy your progress or abuse admin power.
Also, about the ban stuff, firstly, I can't believe that was the message that got sent to people when they were banned. I'm a little mortified.
Second, Zar is right about the fact that some people still warrant bans. There was still the one person who was disclosing personal information, and we've had a decent number of genuine trolls who just made accounts exclusively so they could cause problems.

| Uh....although they mention Pokemon Go in that, and it certainly makes people less alert, I don't know if that was the same as the report of people intentionally setting up beacons to lure in robbery victims. Technically, that guy could have robbed anyone. | |

Australia is a messed up place. And Nintendo has made it worse. Isn't Austin in Texas? So Update. Insurance finally put us up in a hotel till the house get's repaired. We're looking at one week till the roof and walls are repaired. another week till the electricity is done and the rest of the utilities are Turned back on. It took them 6 days to get us in a forking motel. On a liter note funny stuff at work today. I went to go to the rest room at work today. I was gone maybe 15 minutes. In that time The Mexican guy who works on my shift walks up and starts doing my job. He was looking for something to do. His line was down. Anyways I walk up. He looks dead at me and says " You took too long so they replaced you with me. Now they get more work for less money" Everyone looked at him. Then everyone, Him included, just starts laughing nonstop. His name is Juan. He's cool. Everyone loves him.

I got a giggle out of it, to be honest. That was during those final hours where I spoke my piece on the matter. My job has me so busy that I haven't been able to play Pokemon Go that much. I'm only level 7 and a couple of pokes worth noting.

| When I really think about it, I'm glad that nobody got hurt, Stalker. When trees fall onto people's houses where I live, it's usually more than just property damage, people die from those incidents.
At any rate, about Pokemon Go, the one thing I noticed the most, it seems, is the fact that starter-type Pokemon seem to be crawling all over the place. I couldn't help but think to myself, "But aren't those supposed to be really rare?"
Also, as it turns out, my co-worker from China was playing it the other day with his friends, but he said he stopped because where he lives is in the middle of nowhere, and he'd have to go too far to actually find those stops to get items. Well, no, not just that, but a lot of people getting into accidents or messy situations because they didn't try to focus on stuff outside the game.

It's not. I had to ban a few of the aforementioned trolls you mentioned in your post- and it gives the option to put the reason. I normally put down what they did that warranted the ban- and Lieo was very much on Darkel's bad side at the time. Hopefully we've all grown since.

Trolls are fine to ban. As for the guy who was giving out personal information, (my dear buttmunch of a cousin), he honestly didn't have to look farther than Facebook. So anything he told anyone was already public. (I was sort of there for the whole thing and watched him do it. We weren't on speaking terms during the fiasco.) Just thought I'd throw that out there. My cousin isn't some master hacker or anything insane like that. He's just a jerk most of the time and likes to put people in their place when they act up. If you still want him banned, eh. I don't really care either way. I know he's a massive douchebag to a lot of people. Just don't prop him up to be a cyber-terrorist, thanks. - ViperaUnion wrote:

Yay someone likes Pasta. <3 It's not really a custom skin. You craft a paintbrush and mash berries into dye and you can draw all over your dinosaurs in this weird in-game editor. It's a little buggy, but the game itself is still in early access so I don't mind. You can save the "skin" for later too, but to put it on another dinosaur you must have all the paints/brushes. As for TF2, I'm just hoping they'll bring back pubs. I don't really want to play competitive and I'm being forced to. I main a subclass (trolldier-- I fly around and hit people with a shovel for massive crit damage, if I can land the hit before I hit the ground) that doesn't use a gun, and playing something that doesn't use a gun in 12v12 is just going to destroy me.

| Picking subclasses in games is a source of agony to me. I've yet to see a game where I haven't thought that the creators biased their games against certain groups. I mostly know from observing World of Warcraft lore (Since I have an interest in popular games when people start discussing them). I can already tell the folks at Blizzard Entertainment seem to happily update certain races or the rigging for models, but ignore others. Lots of people complain about worgen and goblins.
That aside, the main multiplayer game I was working with was Minecraft, but I never found a good creative server that didn't force you into playing on a flatworld. If they did creative in the normally-generated worlds, people destroyed the landscape until it was nothing but craters. Ultimately, I got bored with the game and don't play it anymore. Darkspore was briefly fun, but nobody had tolerance for a newbie who just got the game, so I literally played it maybe one time, before they shut down the servers. What a waste of expenses...

So what if I want a planet of giant monsters leave me alone.

| I don't know if I ever played Spore legitimately. It got boring really fast. What I kept doing on a repeated basis was giving my characters that one power that lets you instantly buy out a planet, plus the funds needed to do those purchases. I kind of just slowly destroyed all the alien competition over time.
..Then what I kept doing was terraforming worlds to their highest quality, and then uplifting races on them, that way, instead of three colonies on a planet when I purchased homeworlds, they had twelve, or however many excessive cities you get from original homeworlds. It was a good strategy to get high-quality territory with an awesome output of spice, to say the least.
...And Sar, you are not alone. I almost always turned the moon for my homeworlds into nature preserves, and generally, they have the max number of giant things possible on them...
...Of course, regarding the whole 'uplifting races' thing, I also sometimes, uh...used the giant monsters to...influence what philosophy the future space-faring aliens would have...I kind of enjoyed watching the Godzilla reenactments with warrior cities.
...Yeah....Vipera was not the most loving alien neighbor...

| Hey guys sorry about the absence. Very busy week. Should be dying down now though.
About that ban, yeah I must've forgotten to take it down. I thought Maxx and Gaylord were the only two who were banned. I'll check in a sec to make sure there are no others (as everyone is being given a clean slate and I don't even want to bring up any history). Also Op/JunkMail/Nick/whatever you want to be called now (lol), next time could you PM it to me instead? There's really no reason to post it here, especially when it contained that kind of language. My apologies.
And hey Lieo. Nice to hear from you again. How is life on your end?

| ...Uh...it isn't the cactus' fault. You need to be looking up to check to make sure you're not walking into things.
For me, I looked into getting Pokemon Go, but then I realized just by looking at the map, that the closest Pokestop is literally a swamp that happens to be a nature preserve by my house. I should also note they didn't register on the map that there's a lot of water there. After seeing that, I decided that it was too dangerous to bother with.
Well, that, and I don't have the kind of data plan that would make it worthwhile, anyway.

| I caught 16 pokemon and all I've done was stay indoors at home. The cactus was one of the plants the hotel had put here, I was just too focused on that damn magikarp.
And I don't personally own any cactuses because I'll feel the urge to touch it. It doesn't actually hurt that much

| Well, that's good, then. It makes me think about how the trees in my own neighborhood are all oaks, and they're growing pretty fast. I wonder how long it'll be before we might actually be at risk of similar incidents. | |
