Well, I finally introduced Reginald, he's currently wandering around past the dorms, looking suspicious as ever.

Anyway, I prefer interaction to fight scenes, mainly because I like development in characters, and I think I'm getting better at making different personalities.

For anyone who is concerned, Dragonfly's skin is now completely different. He used to have skin with the same texture and color of an Iguanas. Now, he has skin the same color and texture as this Black Rat Snake's:

Poor word choice lone. My apologies. What I meant by what I said about black fall is that I'm finding that I'm rather uninspired for it. That's all. It's not really anything you can change. I've been working on my new sheet for this, but I keep getting sidetracked every time I try to finish it. You already know the power, as I discussed it with you in the chatbox that one day. I want to keep it a surprise though so I'll probably pm you the power section when I get there.

So other than the recent default skin color and texture change, I've been talking with Lone and we've determined that Dragonfly has been in the school anywhere from 12-15 years. He entered the school at about the age of sixteen, so that will put him anywhere from in his late twenties to early thirties. This essentially makes Dragonfly one of Otherground's oldest occupants and perhaps THE oldest character we have.

Although, his aging process is greatly slowed, so he looks very similar to what he looked like when he first joined (so he has aged very well and still looks about 16-18). Of course, this experince doesnt show and he has been in the Sub-Basement most of that time (it's quite funny, he cant remember much of that 12-15 year gap). So, today everyone learned Dragonfly is an old adult fart who acts like a teenager and is pretty messed up in the crainum. I might have Dragonfly's character develope some more in the coming acts. I dont know, we shall find out.

Of course, Dragonfly still think's he's sixteen maybe seventeen. I might also make Henry pull an Ocaria of time and actually be a real person later on in time. I have no idea. I'm contemplating that. If I do make Henry a real person his powers will be the ability to read minds, see into the future (it'll be clouly, so it wont be accurate all the time. That only changes as he gets to know people better). His appearance would be the most fun to write though, as he wouldn't have a set form and instead be that person in a different life (like, he would appear to Gabe as a Gabe who didn't get sent to the Othergrounds, and Nicole as a Nicole who didn't mutate).

What do you guys think?

I don't know what Nicole would look like if she didn't mutate. She started changing at an early age.

Dragonfly was fully mutated by fourteen. He sees Henry as a man he thinks is his age (18-20). Esentially, he sees you as you 'would have been', and you see that 'would have been you'. So it would be like looking in a mirror, in a way.

When he sees the future I might make that happen because he sees alternate dimensions and follows the same people, allowing him to predict the future. Alternate dimensions are alike, but also different, which could lead him to predicting wrong.

To Crystal, for example, she would see someone almost exactly like her current self, while Nicole would see a young sixteen year old woman.

He does, badly. He also needs a lot more help than what a hug could give, but he will live.

Well, Reginald will probably die later on in the RP, so don't get too attached to him. When he does, I'm mulling over replacing him with another male character that will act as a main love interest for Nicole, like another bird meta-human. I was thinking something colorful, like a toucan. Then he could freak out when he realized Nicole was color blind.

Yes, I did say love interest, but it's not that strange. I've been working on romance in stories for awhile now, just not in ones that you've participated in. I think I've gotten quite good at it, and the romance added to the story will help me add more depth to my characters. I've been trying new stuff recently, not just RPing, but in life, overall. I may or may not wait to introduce the toucan guy. I don't want to be over-burdened, but Reginald isn't really a main character that I will focus on.

I prepared Prickly Pear cactus leaves yesterday and got to eat them (Spines, ouch..), and today I discovered that Yucca (Normally that ugly brown root you overlook in stores) tastes delicious.

Seriously though, good on you Vipera for doing something new. I've been testing the waters with characters with mental conditions. My next attempt is going to be one with some form of addiction or obsession (smoking/drinking or perhaps hoarding of some kind). I dont know.

I would think compulsive hoarding would be good for development, because it's something that people often need to seek help for. It's also possible to make a good back story behind it.

Physical Appearance: Nobody's physical appearance changes from person to person. Depending on the person he is talking to, he will mirror that person. In the Othergrounds, he mirrors the person as they would appear if they had not mutated. Dragonfly sees nobody as Henry, his current self as he would appear to be if he had not mutated to become the massive lizard monster than he is now. To Nicole, she would see a young sixteen year old woman. To Livvy, she would see herself exactly. To Gabe, she would see a slightly different variant of herself. You will ALWAYS see a form of yourself when you look at Nobody. This means that if he's talking to someone while you're on looking, you will see yourself, and the person talking to him will see themselves at the same time. Every single person in the world could be looking at Nobody at the same time and they would see a varient of them themselves at the same time, and not another person's variant.

Personality

Innate Personality: Nobody is quite possibly one of the first, oldest, and most powerful meta human in existence. He is extremely wise and is always thinking. He reads people like they are books. Nobody is essentially the 'Good Guy Greg' in every scenario and will go out of his way to help others if he can physiologically, emotionally, or physically.
Outward Personality: Like his innate personality, he is still extremely wise and all knowing. He seems to know what people are thinking, insane or not. He sees two faced people as two separate beings and has the ability to relate to each and every person because when they see them, they see themselves.
Hobbies/Skills: N/A
History/Bio: Thousands of years in the making. Lets say that he has been around since fire. Whether or not that's accurate is up to you to decide.
Favorite color: black.

Abilities

Power Class: Cerebral/Energy/Cosmic/Super System/Other

Power: Nobody has several powers. Ranging from reading minds, to seeing alternate realities, to future sight, to disappearing beyond what mortal eyes can see, to appearance change. Everyone seeing a form of themselves in Nobody, which is why he does not have a name, because doing so would mean that he is somebody is particular, which he is not. This is a secondary power that shows itself often, but it works as it gets people to gain his trust (Henry was a real figment of Dragonfly's imagination, but it was also a way for Nobody to help Dragonfly by acting upon it). Henry has the ability to see into the future, by looking into alternate realities that are very similar to the one he is bound to (EX: One where events are the same, but Drake's born a girl and Dragonfly isn't in the world at all), where he will follow through a 'fast forward' to see how events will play out and predict what will happen in this reality. 7/10 times he is correct, but those other three are where he is wrong. So his future sight is not always right in the fact that it relies on other external sources that aren't always spot on. Nobody also has the power to vanish in ways that no meta humans can see for more than a few seconds (Neither Nicole nor Lily would be able to track him). Whether this is a form of actual prolonged teleportation or simply just a form of disappearance that eyes cannot follow is unknown and he wont say. Nobody also has a form of mind reading, but instead of actual thoughts, he reads emotion, meaning he can tell if you're scared, or feeling lonely, or are depressed, or angry, etc. and be right every time. It's very good when he attempts to comfort others. Nobody's final ability is that he is completely, intangibly, ethereally invincible. He cannot be harmed or touched. He can touch objects, but that's about all he can do with ease.

Weaknesses: Nobody has no offensive abilities whatsoever. He also cannot control his appearance shifting ability. This means that he can not make other people see anything but themselves. His future sight is also only accurate 70% of the time. Touching people is difficult for him to do, but it is achievable.

Burst Potential: None.

Other: I dont intend for Nobody to meet many people, or for others to see him. I might have him interact with Reginald and Dragonfly of course, but I dont see him interacting with others unless someone asks me to. He is the inventor/discoverer of the Omnicron burst.

Hmnmm..... Accepted, but I want to know more about the "is the inventor of omicron burst" as I don't understand that. He can only have been around since the start of metas
