"CENSORED!" Dragonfly snarled, throwing his pants behind his back with his good arm. While they might have saved his arm, they were now useless and did nothing but make him look like an animal that put on human clothing. Not that it wasn't the case, but oh well. Dragonfly was particularly angry today. He had woken up leaning against a tree with a makeshift splint. His arm, while the break was mended, was not at full strength yet. He wouldn't be doing any heavy lifting for the next few days.
But the matter of the fact was that he had woken up alone. Forgotten, cast out. His first thoughts were to Nicole who had passed out somewhere. The others were to why the hell the others had left him. He guessed that the asian girl was a priority, but it still. The great reptile huffed to himself before continuing down his way. He was happy that he was able to help out against Zizz. He found comfort in the fact that if he had died and the others were not able to defeat him that Zizz would've eventually died of blood poisoning anyway. He liked the idea of taking his attacker down with him. He couldn't find Nicole as he didn't know where she had taken refuge, so he gave up looking for her in the forest but kept a sharp eye out.
He felt his body rumble. His body's after affects of super speed healing was hunger to replenish lost resources. He noticed what seemed to be a rabbit moving through the underbrush. Using his good claw, Dragonfly cut the splint off and then changed color to match his surroundings. He slowly approached, making sure the rabbit did not notice him, before bursting off in a fit of speed and dropping his camouflage. The rabbit had no time to react as Dragonfly grabbed it around the neck and slammed it's head into the ground. This killed it instantly, a merciful death.
If there was one thing Dragonfly feared it was suffering before he died. He didn't want to go out sick and in pain. He wanted it to be fast. Over in a flash. So he incorporated this into his hunting habits. Perhaps karma would come for him at his time. Because he had the rabbit by the scruff of it's neck, he could swallow it head first easier. Dislodging his jaw from it's socket, he opened his mouth and swallowed the rabbit whole. Once the process was complete and he closed his mouth his jaw went back into place. He moved his jaw a few times to make sure it was readjusted right before continuing out of the Outergrounds and back on campus. The rabbit would tide him over for now, but he would need to find more food very soon.
As he walked he saw Drake and the girl... Victoria, he called her after he rescued him. They were covered in sweat and Victoria was sitting on a bench panting. Clicking a few times he camouflaged himself to sneak past them. He didn't have business with them other than asking Drake what the hell happened to him. But that could wait. They were busy and so was he. Hunger was the most primal of feelings. Couple that with his instinctive nature and you have a bad combination. He didn't want start acting as weird as he looked. The only thing he worried about was not camouflaging fast enough.

Claire
The Training Center
Claire was running. She wasn't sure how long she had been running, but she woke up somewhere around six, and went on a B-line right to the training center. She had quickly thrown on a grey tanktop with a pair of black basketball shorts, leaving her sleeve of tattoos exposed. Last night, she had made a promise to herself to train; to get herself stronger so that what happened yesterday morning wouldn't happen again. She had started her workout with a hundred pushups, and now she was on a treadmill, where she had been for God-knows-how-long. Finally, however, Claire stopped, and her legs shook so badly that she had to hold onto the side of the treadmill to stand. Eventually, her legs returned to normal, and she took a swig of lemon-lime gatorade from her green sport bottle.
Next, Claire walked over to one of the many Smith Machines that dotted the opposite wall (self-spotting bench rack. look it up) and adjusted the seat for bench press. She put on 135 lbs, and benched it ten times with ease. Claire had forgotten how strong she was. Next she put on 180 lbs, and did that ten times, bringing the heavy steel barbell down to her chest and then back up with ease, though it was slightly harder than 135. Next was 225; two forty-five pound plates on each side, with a 45 pound bar. This, she had trouble with, and was huffing and puffing by the time that she brought it up for the tenth time. She cursed loudly as she hooked the bar back into the rack with the turn of her wrist, and looked at the cuts on her hands from the bar's grips twisting. She had completely forgotten her black fingerless gloves, and now slid them on. With her, in edition to the gloves and the sports bottle, was a jump rope, a stopwatch, and a peanut butter sandwich and a piece of fruit in a brown paper bag which she planned to eat for lunch.
After taking a short break, Claire was at it again, this time benching 245; two forty-five pound plates and a ten on each side. She barely got the bar up for number ten, and had the machine had not been a self-spotter, she would have dropped it on herself, leaving a nice bruise. Content, she next moved to back squat, where she put the bar on her back and squatted down so her knees and butt were parallel. She put 225 on this for her first set, and did ten easily, then 250, then 275, until she found herself squatting 300 lbs. This would be quite the challenge, but in Claire Spark's mind, there was no weight she couldn't lift.
She got under the bar, resting it across her shoulders, and grabbed it with her hands. Claire twisted the self-spotter off and groaned audibly as 300 pounds of twisting metal dug into her upper back. She came down once, and then back up, letting out a loud yell of "One!" as she got to the top. She slowly went back down for two, and came up quickly, yelling it out once more. Claire suddenly wished that she had brought her MP3 player, but with 300 pounds on your back you couldn't exactly just get up and go get it. She did three and four slowly and methodically, and cried out once more when she got to five. six and seven she also yelled out, and when she got down to parallel on Eight, her legs were killing her. Somehow she got back to the top, and tried to go down for nine. This would be the hardest one yet, and about halfway up, she stopped, unable to go any farther. She dug down deep, though, and let out a rather masculine scream as the brought the bar back up. She twisted the bar and the self-spotter kicked in, locking the bar into one of the metal slots on the machine. Claire was breathing heavily, and sat down on the bench that she had pulled out of the smith machine. She took a slow drink of gatorade, and decided to take a break for a bit. Her legs were burning, and her arms were just as bad, and they shook as she drank, causing some of the gatorade to spray all around her face.

Marie entered the cafeteria, Tom coming in shortly after, sporting his traditional scowl, which deepened upon seeing the mess in the cafeteria. Marie, as usual, wore no expression, and her voice betrayed no emotion, "It seems the cafeteria has been deliberately destroyed, although I suppose that I am stating what is obvious." Tom just huffed, "Looks like a war zone in here, and all the eyes that were maintaining the place are messed up, too." He said, looking at the remains of one that was next to the door. Marie looked at Lily, "So did you see anything? You appear to be just as surprised at us." Tom, although normally thought to be impulsive and quick to accuse, didn't say anything.

Hunter
Hunter's Song:
Hunter had gone to sleep last night out of the way of the group. They haven't been formally introduced or met each other yet. Hopefully they won't for awhile. As Hunter wasn't in the social mood at the moment. He... hovered over them as they hauled in the overweight girl. Unable to find the right words. The only thing he felt was the appropriate course of action was leaving before he was noticed. The physically and mentally scarred youth had wandered the school at night. What he was told was correct, unfortunately. The school was abandoned save a few people... These hearts, I wondered through the halls of this place and found nothing but war. Unfortunate it had to be this way--- That is the hand of fate. Hunter thought to himself as he walked through the school. Wearing a black trench coat which went down to his knees. A white striped dress-shirt underneath and blue jeans. He wore combat boots, and leather gloves on his hands (which covered up the scars). His bag of art supplies was slung over his shoulder, and held tightly as he walked. The usual hopeless and scared facial expression remained on his face.
He had walked into the Administration building, taking one step in and looking around. The lights were on, and the place seemed to be in disarray. That wasn't a concern for Hunter as he had one thing in mind; erasing all traces of his name. Which meant he would have to destroy the files with his name on it. While to external eyes this may seem like a waste of time. In his mind, after what he found out what his lineage was, this was all necessary. Before the school was attacked, anyone who wasn't a staff were denied access to these vital files.... Vital was a misnomer. Plenty of these files weren't worth the paper they were printed on. The only thing that Hunter found worthy was the information they had here on powers, health records and personal records. All he wanted to do was destroy his records here and leave everything else be. Hunter had wandered around in this building, checking every room that had papers. While it was a very tedious task, there was nothing worth more than keeping one part of his past a secret. There were files scattered all over the rooms, and he checked every single last one of them. Only to find nothing. The filing cabinets were fairly busted.
Hunter kept searching the first floor of the Administration building. He had found one large room that was full of filing cabinets. This room without a doubt had a file on him. He opened the door and walked inside. This room was very large and rectangle shaped, with blue wallpaper and a white painted ceiling. The carpet was colored light-blue. The room had at least twenty filing cabinets, each of them held thousands of files each on every student. Hunter opened up the first one, and started searching. My... birth name starts with an A... He thought to himself as he skimmed the A-section of the filing cabinet with his finger and eventually found his file. It was info on his training progress. This file, while useful to the staff, was useless to everyone else. Hunter had bunched the paper up, and stuffed it in his coat.
He moved on to the next one, only to find it locked. He witnessed the power that his associates had. They could easily break into this even if it was locked... And so could he. This wasn't too much of a deterrent, there was only one thing that could get him inside. Hunter grabbed his bag and slide it off his shoulder, resting it on the ground. Before he took the glove off his right hand. He started to rummage through it, eventually pulling out several pages of blank paper. He arranged the paper until each and every one of them were touching and formed a perfect rectangle. Then he reached up the sleeve of his trench coat and grabbed his small and pathetic knife. While this knife would be useless in a fight--- It was the first step for the Blood Art Technique. He positioned his hand so that his palm was pointed at his face, and held the knife in his other hand. He slowly pressed the knife against the palm of his hands, using concentrating not to pierce his flesh. Hunter let out a quiet sigh. This is the power of modern art perverse... He thought to himself as the blade penetrated the palm of his hand. Hunter let out a quiet yelp as he felt the cold blade enter his flesh. Seconds later he pulled the blade out of his palm and let the blood flow from the fresh wound. The blood dropped from the palm of his hand on to the papers. After Hunter got a significant amount, he went to work. Using his free hand he painted a sword out of his blood, while concentrating hard as he could on actual swords.
After a few minutes Hunter had completed his drawing of a long-sword. He rested both hands on the carpet outside of the papers. With his blood still flowing. Anyone else would be dead by now, Hunter's gift granted him with the abilities to heal blood and wounds at an accelerated rate. This wouldn't slow him down one bit, he was used to this... pain and this cycle. While it had hurt; it was far from new. "Blood art technique..." Hunter muttered to himself. The painting of a sword quick risen from the blood painting, leaving behind a near-transparent blood colored shadow in it's place. He sighed as he grabbed the handle of his sword. He then stood straight up, hand still dropping blood on to the carpet. The dried blood would leave behind his mark on this place. Hunter had sighed and raised his sword high above his head, then brought it down with incredible force. On contact it instantly sliced through the poor filing cabinet. Leaving behind a jagged gash on the top of the cabinet. He closed his eyes then sighed again as he lifted the sword. This had "opened" up the cabinet allowing Hunter access. He rested the sword against a cabinet and put the glove back on to his bleeding hand.
He sighed again as he put his hands inside of the jagged maw he had created. He pried it open as wide as he naturally could, before he gave up and stopped. It was wide enough for him to put one of his hands inside of. He also destroyed many of the papers on the top cabinet. Unfortunate, but he didn't care. He reached inside of the maw and pulled out as many papers as he could in one hand full, immediately doing the same again before he heard a noise from outside the room. Hunter immediately grabbed his blood-sword and pointed it at the door. After last night... everyone has a reason to be on edge--- Plus, he was alone. Even the smallest noises warranted a reaction like this.
If this turned out to be another monster then he'll fight as hard as he can. Hoping to wound it so that everyone else will have an edge against it.
Lemontea
Lemontea was wandering throughout the schools (for some reason). Last night she left to go sleep in the "usual" spot far away from the eyes of the group. Then woke up wearing the same things that she was wearing last night (even if it was covered in flies). Right now she didn't have the luxury of buying new clothes. Even when she was in the school. She kept her bag of tools slung over her shoulder, crowbar sticking out as always. She walked into the training hall. Causally peeking into every single hall, just checking for someone. Until she saw that one girl from last night who charged into the fly swarm because of something that involved Johnny (Lemontea assumed that Claire had died). While Lemontea would have normally ignored the girl and kept going; there was something she wanted to ask.... "Hey, you're that girl I saw last night." Lemontea starts off, not in the most polite or kind fashion, "Hmph, good thing that you survived all that." Even though you charged into them like a maniac... Lemontea thought with a smile. She was really asking Claire how she survived, without the question mark.
((I just noticed something, no one is even mentioning the large and noticeable scars on Lemontea's face. lol))
Drake & Victoria
"How are you holding up since last night...?" Victoria asks her younger brother. Worried about his state. Last night he was barely conscious. Well, they did get him checked up by an Eye (at Victoria's urging)
"Sore, but I'll live." Drake responds.
"I'm not talking about your... body." Victoria says in an awkward tone, trying to avoid making any unsavory comments about her younger brother, "I'm talking about your... mental state. I mean, you almost died back there. I'm asking if you're okay in that sense."
"... I think I'll be." Drake hesitantly responds.
"If you want to talk--- About anything; I'll be here, near you." Victoria assures Drake.
"Yeah, big sis; right now I don't want to talk about last night... No offense to you, I just want to repress that memory." Drake responds in an annoyed tone.
"But, you can't repress that! You'll end up going insane and killing yourself. It's okay to talk about it. That's why I'm here." Victoria assures Drake again.
"We're here to train. Nothing---" Drake was about to blow off Victoria. Which would have triggered a long and hard back-and-forth between them.
Lily
Lily turned around and looked directly at the two people that just entered the cafeteria. The first person was the gigantic boy, Tom. Lily didn't thought too well of him because of his attitude--- But, she was going to disregard that... For now. The second was that creepy little girl that constantly spoke like she was a machine. Both of these people were in the group that Lily had arrived in. There was something about this that just struck the girl. They just had to come when she discovers the wreckage--- Then again she also has to think about what they think. Since she's just standing here in all the wreckage she can easily be accused more than they possibly can be. Lily was now thinking about the culprit of this heinous (anus) crime. Someone had to have done this, and she was going to find out who. Even if it killed her--- Well, no, she enjoyed living. Even if it killed them! Wait, no, still not right. It doesn't matter what happens. She was on the case of the culprit. Because as of now she was a detective. Everyone in the Othergrounds would be interrogated. So far there were few people who were on her list of possible culprits.
Tom; who Lily suspected because he ran through the wall last night. As far as she can tell he could easily wreck a place. Or, she could just be bias because he was rude to her.
Johnny; even after their conversation yesterday, Lily wasn't completely convinced that he was a good guy. Going on what Jia-li said; he has done some fairly wicked things in his past. Nor have they really gotten to know him. So, why should he be exempt?
Uhhhh... Maybe... ummm... Lily thought about anyone else other than these two people. She hadn't known anyone so it'd be near impossible to guess who did it. Which is why she isn't going to guess; she's going to investigate and get hard evidence. She's going to investigate everyone, which would be fairly difficult since she doesn't know how many people she'll need to talk to. Since she didn't know anyone more than a few hours, anyone could be behind it. Where to start would be difficult.
ViperaUnion wrote:
"So did you see anything? You appear to be just as surprised at us."
When Marie spoke this, it was nearly at the height of Lily's excitement. She never had thought that she was going to live out one of those detective shows. "I don't have any clue..." She started off. Before she suddenly pointed at them with her right hand and putting her other hand on her hip. She had a determined face on, and looked somewhat grandiose. She spoke loudly, "But, I'm going to g-g-g...!" Lily had cut herself off, she wasn't thinking too much about what she said. If she gave away that she was going to look for culprit then they'll rid of the evidence, or avoid her. Lily stood in that same position, her facial expression changed to that of a confused and awkward person. As she thought of something else to end her sentence with that wouldn't arose suspicion. Before it came to her, "... Go get something else to wear." Lily had looked down at her bikini... She needed to take a shower, then get a change of clothe. Lily walked past them and said, "I'll be around you two, see ya!" Before running off in the same hallway that they came from.
After she got a change of clothes, she would have a causal conversation with everyone. Attempting to piece all of this together.
Jake & Gabriela
The twins had arrived at the Lake. This is where they said that they fought the Zizz. While it had been silly to come back here, from what Drake said he killed the thing. So there was no further need to be suspicious. Jake was wearing a black & white checkered suit, black dress shoes, and a black bowl-hat. With no overcoat this time. Gabe was wearing a white T-shirt with her leather jacket thrown over it. She was wearing black jeans and was wearing gold-trimmed sunglasses.
"So, Jakey... What the 'ell are we doing here?" Gabriela asks in her usual British accent.
"I don't know..." Jake starts off 100% honest, "I was thinking that we could talk..."
"Well, I ain't in the mood for no talkin'. Especially not near any water. You know what that stuff does to me..." Gabe says in an annoyed tone.
"I'm just happy that you're alive, can you just..." Jake says, quickly scrambling to put together some words.
"And I'm happy to be alive--- But, 'hat's a celebration, now isn't it?" Gabe sarcastically responds before laughing.
"Johnny doesn't want to do anything and Sylvia is... ugh!" Jake inserts, "I just want to forget about last night. That girl..." In truth Jake only really came here to see the carnage. He was.. interested in what happened to Jia-li to say the least.
"Have ya' tried drugs?" Gabe responds, "That chubby b*tch sure is gonna need em' after what happened to 'er. Haha."
"Don't be an a--- Jerk, stop being a jerk, Gabe." Jake responds, attempting to stand up to his twin, "I feel bad that something like that happened to them. You should too!"
"Well, Jakey. I was just pokin' at ya'." Gabe says in a low, bored tone.
"Don't. I don't need that right now." Jake tries to sound assertive.
"... I hope someone else is 'round 'ere so I can get a better conversation than this..." Gabe quietly says to herself.

Claire
When Claire heard someone walk in, she spun around to see Lemontea; a pretty little thing had she not had scars streaking across her face. Claire wasn't exactly in the mood to talk right now, but she figured that she needed some friends, so she decided to be nice, an emotion which hardly crossed Claire's face. Ever.
"Well hello to you too scarface." Claire sarcastically said, trying to smile "Yeah, I ran into the flies. I'm electrokinetic, you see, so I was like a bug zapper. Not nearly as glamorous as I'd have liked it to sound, but it's true. Wasn't one of my best decisions, though. I got lucky." to show off her power, Claire created an orb of electricity in the palm of her right hand which crackled a bright blue. She took another drink of gatorade, and looked at the clock on the wall. She had plenty of time for the rest of her workout; she could afford to talk to some people.
Taylor
Taylor's alarm clock had been going off for about twenty minutes when she finally decided to get out of bed. She was completely exhausted, and her very bones ached. She hadn't slept very well, and the fact that she had been coming down from a burst last night made it even worse. She was shivering, and she looked in the mirror to see that her lips had turned blue. Then it hit her and she screamed; she had frozen her bed in her sleep. She quickly thawed the bed (taylor can turn ice into water, but not the other way) and took a hot shower to warm herself up. She looked outside to see the shining sun, but she wasn't very sunny. Taylor remembered what she had done last night, and she couldn't get over it. She needed time to think about things, so she decided to go to the one place that she thought the best; the beach.
Taylor went into her closet and took out a violet bikini, which she threw on quickly. She spent ten minutes on hair and makeup (one third of what she usually spent), and grabbed a beach chair and a cooler, in which she sat two bottles of wine and some glasses, as well as a few bottles of cola. She filled the cooler with cold water, just above freezing, slipped into her sandals, and left, locking her door behind her. Five minutes later, Taylor was at the beach, where she applied some sunscreen to her arms, legs, and face and put on a pair of large sunglasses which made her eyes look gigantic. As she put down her chair, Taylor noticed Jake and that girl Gabe they had been looking for the other day. That's when it hit her. She cursed out loud, and walked over to them.
"Salut." Taylor said as she arrived where Jake and Gabe were "Have either of you guys seen Johnny? I have a favor to ask of him".

Bones rounded the corner of the door in the Administration building, trying to investigate the strange noise she had heard of something being smashed, and the sound of rustling papers. After the initial incident with Zizz that left Jia-li hospitalized, she had slipped away from the group to look for a new quiet place where she could be alone without anyone finding out where she was. She also had desperately wanted to take of her hoodie. The truth was that because she naturally had a higher body temperature, all it did was make her uncomfortable, and the only real reason she wore it was to cover up all the scars made by her powers. Therefore, when she stepped into the room, it was tied around her waist, the sleeves in a simple knot, leaving all the strange-looking raised scars, as well as the brilliantly patterned tattoos on her shoulders, completely visible, as she wore a sleeveless moss green camisole under the hoodie. She saw the other person in the room pointing a sword at her, and scowled angrily, half because she was at risk of being impaled, and half because she was horribly embarrassed and ashamed that someone was seeing what she hid under her jacket.
She didn't look at the stranger's face, and instead focused on the sword, forcing herself not to let the self-consciousness show, "Put that blade away, I ain't here for a fight, personally, I was hoping nobody would be here at all, but obviously, I ain't got the best of luck, seems like I'm runnin' into everyone, these days." She folded her arms, and leaned against the side of the door frames, "So, might as well introduce myself, people call me Bones, I designed the textiles for the costumes we used in school plays, before this whole invasion mess started. I kind of slip away when no one's lookin', and I show up in odd places. Used to be the graveyard, but that one's been found, so I can't go there anymore." she glanced sidelong at the other person in the room, "So, what's your name?" Her manner might have seemed relaxed, although it was clear there was a bit of anxiety that she was trying to conceal. She didn't want to get into a fight with this person, using her powers hurt severely, and left permanent scars. Plus, it was pretty obvious she had done something to get hurt, and she sorely hoped this stranger wasn't going to ask hard questions.
Marie and Tom just exchanged glances when Lily ran off. "Awful suspicious that she would do that." He said, raising an eyebrow. Marie slowly shook her head, "No, she was surprised, and aware that her words made her look suspicious. She is not any more guilty than us. If anyone asks, we possess an alibi, we were at the library at the supposed time of the incident." Her eyes flashed a shade of dull red. Tom frowned, "I don't like this anymore than you." He said. "This mess is ridiculous." Marie just shook her head again, the red growing brighter, "What motive would someone have to do this?" She asked. Tom frowned, "I don't know, but without food, life isn't going to be easy. We're kind of trapped at the school, here."

My apologies... I did not know you were there. Hunter lowers his blade to his side, remaining silent and deadpan. Both as a sign that he was friendly and a sign that he was still unsure of her intentions. "I... was not sure who you were. My apologies." Hunter starts off. Keeping his full attention on her. When she first stepped into the room he noticed her tattoos... and scars. It immediately interested Hunter on how someone like her would get those scars. She must have some sort of story attached to them the way she was trying to cover them. Ah... Every scar has it's story; whether it's small as falling as a child to facing down your demons... What is the secrets that you wish to hide from me--- No, I am being hypocritical. I sent myself on this path to her only because I want to obscure my secrets from the world.... Hunter thought to himself. He hadn't continued on with his statements, "I am cautious after what happened last night..." He says to Bones, in a soft-calm tone. His grip on the sword was still tight, like he was ready to slash the girl--- I am thinking like a monster... It is impossible for me to find a balance between calm and cautious. He let out a sigh before he looks down at his bleeding hand. The blood was seeping through his glove and now dripping on to the floor. The healing process hadn't fully completed itself yet. Bones would have easily noticed what was going on.

Bones... What an odd-nickname. There must be some connection to her powers... People around here--- Before they all went missing, nicknamed each other depending on their powers. As I wasn't very social I didn't get the opportunity for such a name. But, I recall one boy calling me, The Blood Artist of Sparrowdale. Hunter thought to himself, hoping that her power wasn't mind reading. If he shared his thoughts all the time then no one would stand to be around him--- That, and he wasn't the talkative type. Before long he responded with his name, "I am Hunter. I'm rather disappointed we had to met in such times where I'd have to be worried about every small sound. But, in either case I'm happy to meet" Hunter really wanted to ask about her scars, her statement about showing up in odd places raised more questions. He'd rather save those questions for later, though. He might.
"I will be gone in an hour; I just need to find something and the building will be yours." Hunter spoke in a blank tone yet again. There was something else he wanted to ask, he wasn't sure if he should or not--- He was going to risk going into her grey area here. "I saw a group of people in the hospital last night-" Everyone there was injured in one way or another, or covered in sand. "- They seem to have been fighting like I was. Do you know of what happened...?"

Lemontea frowned slightly at the scar-face comment. She's had these scars so long... For reasons that she didn't regard as "joke-worthy". Just not to start off on the wrong foot (since she assumed that even being associated with Johnny got her on Claire's bad side) she decided against commenting on the sarcasm for now. Claire had charged into the flies for what reason? Like Claire had said, it was luck. Because otherwise she probably would be a skeleton being tossed aside by now. Lemontea ultimately decided not to comment on that either. She continued to watch as Claire demonstrated her powers. Electrokinesis...? Powerful, but not too stealthy. As Lemontea is a person who likes the sneak, opposed to fighting up close--- Then again most people don't just use their powers for just fighting. Except for the few wanna-be bad-asses who thought they were invincible and the psychopaths. Lemontea wasn't too impressed at the electric orb, but she at tried to be nice. "That's cool, Boltz. I'd show you my power but I don't think you're going to like it...."
Jake and Gabe
Jake was the first person to take note of Taylor. She left after they had fought Pestilence. It wasn't the most fun that Jake has had. But, he was still grateful that they had found Gabe. He had noticed that Taylor had walked over to them. Since he was the first to notice her he was the first to speak. "Hey, Taylor..." He spoke in a hesitant tone. He examined her, she was obviously dressing like she was enjoying a day at the beach. Bringing a seat and everything. She should at least be concerned of what lurks here (following the story they were told). Actually, they too should be concerned. "I don't know where Johnny is right now... He might still be in the hospital..." He spoke in the same tone, before he shrugged.
Gabe looked at Taylor with an arrogant smirk, "Oh, hi there, deary. Heard that you were apart of my valiant rescue party..." She peered at Jake for a moment and spoke with a very sarcastic tone, "I'd like to say thanks for the help... Even though I could have cooked that monster if there wasn't anyone else 'round."
"Um... If I may ask, what is this favor you want to ask him? I know him really well and I know what he'll say no to." Jake spoke to Taylor. Attempting to find out what this "favor" is.
Lily
While suspicious, Lily was on to something. She wanted to find out the person responsible for this soon as possible. Stopping them would be important if they're going to stay here. If this person was capable of doing something so reckless and stupid such as this... One could imagine what person would destroy their own source of food. A person who wanted to screw with them of course. In either case, Lily reached her room and dug through her bags choosing the clothes she wants to wear. Something with a bit more flash. A checkered red and white jacket, with a bright red button up shirt under it. White colored jeans, and white and black sneakers. She also threw a white scarf on it for her head. She had everything she was going to wear slung over her arm. She then headed towards the shower room. She walked into the first shower stall that she saw and turned on the shower. A few minutes later, Lily emerged from the stall. Completely dressed up looking flashy as she felt (Though flashy won't help her catch the culprit). She walked out of the shower-room into the main lobby-room.
Now, she had no idea where everyone was. But, that wasn't going to stop her. She was going to find and talk to every single last person. This was the moment to act, since as far as she could tell not too many people noticed what happened. So, that'd at least help filter out the guilty.
Drake & Victoria
In the mist of their back and forth, Drake had looked away from Victoria to hide that quelling annoyment that was growing inside of him. He had noticed Dragonfly some distance away from them. Slowly camouflaging himself and clicking silently. Drake wasn't in the mood to continue his current conversation with Victoria. Which would have quickly fell into a petty sibling argument about his own state. He rudely turned away from Victoria and started walking towards Dragonfly. "Hey, Dragon! How are you doing, bud? I still like to thank you for what you did last night." He shouted out to Dragonfly. The first thing Drake was wondering is what he was doing watching them like that.
"Who?" Victoria looked over at the person Drake was talking to.

Bones shrugged, "It's a pretty crazy story, really. Some tall guy with pink flamingo feathers and eagle talons named Zizz showed up by the lake and had a friend by the throat. A big fight started, and he proved to be a really tough opponent. He was shooting bullets of compressed air, or somethin', and kept on kickin' up dust, nobody could see, half the time, 'cept for this bird girl, who's got some sort of super-hearin' and sense of smell. She went through an Omicron burst, shot some sort of light beam at him, and that kind of changed the battle so that we could beat him. Of course, I don't know where she is now, she flew off with a broken fibula, and nobody can find her. Either way, another guy electrocuted Zizz and killed him. After that, we had to carry our friend to the hospital with a messed up shoulder. I kind of left after that, no sense in sticking around where I can't help." She said.
She noticed the blood dripping from Hunter's gloved hand, and looked at him, raising an eyebrow, questioningly. "I don't suppose you'll tell me unless I bring it to your attention. Should I be concerned about what you're hiding under your glove? It's not like I don't know a deep wound when I see it." She wasn't going to freak out the first moment she saw blood. With her own powers, people often falsely assumed that the bleeding would kill her, but an enhanced clotting factor kept her from bleeding to death. Still, something about being covered in blood alarmed everyone, regardless.

Dragonfly froze from moving. He had been spotted eavesdropping on their conversation. His first defense mechanism told him to get out of there and run, but he thought better of it. It would do nothing but confuse Drake due to the fact that he had done nothing wrong. "Oh... Hello, Drake." Dragonfly said finally, keeping his camouflage up for a little while longer. He didn't know who exactly Victoria was besides the fact that she was a friend of Drake's in some way, but he doubted that she had payed much attention to him last night when they were fighting Zizz.
He scratched the back of his head in awkwardness. He was glad Drake couldn't actually see him do it. "Ssorry about lisstening in on your converssation." He began, slowly dropping his camouflage as he explained himself. "I woke up out there sstarving," he said, pointing out into the forest's direction. "And wass hungry. Zizz broke my arm yessterday." He lifted his bad arm for emphasis. It didn't look to much different that the other now, but it was stiff and he doubted it could bear very much weight. "Lizard healing powerss... You know?" He stopped for a minute, realizing he was getting off track. "Anyway, healing drainss sstrength... makess me hungry. I wass jusst making my way back to civilization after catching a rabbit."
He shrugged, before continuing, "And I heard you two talking as I walked. I couldn't help myself." He flicked his tongue in and out of his mouth for a moment, tasting the air. "You two ssmell ssweaty." He stated, looking to Drake and then to the other girl awkwardly. "Are you out for a run?"

Drake & Victoria

Drake was a bit weary of Dragonfly right now. Why was he sneaking around? Why didn't he just come out and talk until he was notice? There were so many things that just struck Drake as odd at the moment. His facial expression would tell Dragonfly that he was rather uncomfortable. "It's okay Dragon... Just ummmm... Tell us when you're around again." Drake decided not to press any further on why Dragonfly was trying to camouflage himself. For a moment Drake thought that if he hadn't noticed the lizard man then he guessed that Dragonfly would have kept on. Small drops of sweat kept falling down from his upper body.
Victoria got up and walked over to her older brother slowly. Still panting. When she looked up she saw the lizard man. She... wasn't used to people like that to say the least. Dragonfly looked like something out of Star Trek. Victoria was going to overlook his appearance and instead look at what's inside of the Lizard-beast. Not physically, metaphorically. He had saved her brother last night and is eternally thankful. Then she remembered that she hadn't introduced herself, "Hi there, I'm Victoria Blackmore..." She drifted off, "... His older sister."

"A wabbit?" Drake says with a small chuckle. He was meaning to ask Dragonfly about his powers. Since last night Drake had inadvertently copied the lizard man's abilities. He wanted to know so much more about his powers since it took him weeks of training just to figure out his thunder powers. Without any pointers. Perhaps since they're here, he can learn better with some resources. "You can heal? That's cool." Drake spoke without a single hint of sarcasm.

The smells sweaty comment was an understatement. They're probably going to have to change their clothes and take showers. "Yeah. We're doing some training after last night. It got me thinking, really: we all need to get stronger or else I don't think we'll get lucky." Drake spoke blankly.
"Yeah... I wanted to go first..." Victoria responds sarcastically.
"And here we are. The first steps of progress!" Drake speaks in a grand tone, "Well, we were lookin' on the map and we saw a training hall. I was thinking we go there for some actual training..." He peaked at Dragonfly deviously, obvious that he had an idea in his head. "So... Dragonfly? You have any plans? Cause I was thinking that you join us for some training." He offered Dragonfly. What good would the two of them do if they were the only two people training. More people the merrier.
Victoria smiled, "I'm okay with this... I kinda want to see what I can really do."
Drake then remembered what he said last night. "Hey, you remember what I told you about our powers last night, do you...?" He spoke in a hesitant tone. It may have not been too wise telling people about his powers just like that. Especially since he was a power replicator... and so was his sister. They might think they might get some negative effects from it--- Though, Drake doesn't know that.

Interesting... Both groups were attacked at the same time? There must be more to this than simply coincidence. This must be linked to the dreaded stasis... I know little about the place--- But, I know that there's some link between us and the place. If that creature that attacked me was from there, and this... Zizz? I haven't seen what this man was or what he could do. I do feel that both parties were justified in ending their lives... There was no other way. People would have died if they failed there. I do feel bad for the girl that was injured. But, that was the best outcome other than death. Hunter thought to himself as he tried to collect himself. He looked directly at bones, before telling his story. "I see, I wasn't with your group at the time, but I wish I was. I could have helped more than I did with the people I was with...." Hunter blankly stated,
He might as well just tell her what he's been through because he keeps mentioning it, "Before this... attack occurred; I was in the hospital. I woke up and wandered the building for hours before I encountered a girl. She was rather... abrasive, impulsive even. We almost fought before I disabled her--- We formed a temporary alliance. A few minutes later we heard this monstrous buzzing and ran down the stairs. By the time we made it, all I saw was this immensely tall and monstrous being. It looked rotted, and appeared like a mix between a fly and a man.... I slashed behind it's knee. That's when I encountered the rest of the people fighting the beast. We killed it shortly afterwards. It made me think, the same powers that we received could have easily turned any one of us into something like it----I feel like I'm talking too much, aren't I?" Hunter abruptly stopped his train of speech, at the moment he was basically spouting exactly what he was thinking.

No. You should not be. I've... done worse. For a moment Hunter thought about how he survived. Ironic isn't it? The way that I survived what annihilated the school was that I nearly died. He figured that he should explain why his hand was bleeding. Unlike other people here, he wasn't afraid to tell people of his powers. It was showing them without warning that scared them. "I... I..." Hunter tried to start off, "I am a blood artists. You see. I can draw art with my blood and it takes physical form. It can be... macabre, at times."

Taylor
Taylor giggled a bit when Gabe talked about cooking Pestilence, but then returned to her rather upset demeanor. This wasn't exactly a playful task. At least the person she had risked her life to save was amiable, at least, unlike Claire.
"You see," she said to Jake in a neutral tone "My sister Marisa disappeared during the attack the other day. I looked all over campus, but I've been unable to find any traces of her. So, I figured that since I helped him find you," she turned to Gabe, and then back to Jake "then he'd return the favor". She shifted back and forth nervously, hoping that this would be something Johnny would do. She really seemed to be attracted to him, but someone heartless enough to not do something like this from her wouldn't gain any points in her favor.
Claire
"Fair enough." Claire said before taking another drink of gatorade. Her muscles were still exhausted, and her arm shook while she drank, causing a bit of the gatorade to splash on her sweat-soaked tanktop. This girl was kinda cute besides the scars, but most girls weren't like Claire, and she seriously doubted this girl would be. Claire was relatively alone in that respect; a lone wolf.
"So," she said after an awkward moment "Are you here to train? I'm kinda lonely here, and I could use a spotter. I'm Claire, by the way." Claire got up off of the bench, and leaned on the Smith Machine to ease the pressure off of her shaky legs.

"You know me, Drake... I dont like being sseen in public if I can help it. But I'll tell you next time anyway." Dragonfly's slitted eyes shifted to the side as he spotted movement. As a predator, he was hard wired for this. Angling his upper body to face the one approaching him, he got a good look at.. her. The one who Drake seemed to have a form or relation with. She introduced herself as Victoria as he expected, and Drake's older sister. "I ssee. I didn't know Drake had any ssiblingss. It'ss nice to meet you." He said, offering his clawed hand to the girl. "I don't sscratch, don't worry."
Well, if she saw what he did to Zizz yesterday she would know that was a blatant lie. A better way of saying it would be that he only scratches when he wants to. When he does, it's not pretty. He listened to Drake as he asked about his regenerative properties and chuckled slightly. "Yess, a wabbit. I'm better at catching them than Elmer Fudd." he said, flashing a small toothy grin. "And yes, I do heal. Quite fasst too. I got most of my powerss from reptiless and amphibianss. Like color change from chameleonss and the ability to abssorb oxygen from the water from frogs. Every one came in handy lasst night."
"I'd be happy to better mysself. If... Whatever that thingss name wass's friendss sshow up, we had better be prepared." it came to Dragonfly that he had never taken the time to find out what Zizz's name was. He just saw it hurting his friends and went into autopilot. He didn't know, or care really, that it had been about as insane as he was. When Drake asked him if he had any plans because he's invited to train, he growled slightly to clear his throat before speaking. His voice sounded strangely like the Joker's. It had no hiss at the end of it either. Some would call it creepy even that he did it so well. "Do I really look like a guy with a plan?" He stopped his impersonation to answer Drake's question. "I'll do asss much as I can, and asss much asss my arm will allow. I dont know where the training center is, so lead on."

Bones frowned, as though in deep thought, before responding, "Well, then, our powers are pretty similar, I haven't told anyone at this school yet what my power is, but I suppose I can tell you." She held up her left hand to reveal a strange, raised white scar that was notably in the center of her palm. "Truth is, none of these scars came from fights. They were the result of the day I discovered what my powers were, and then the few times I tried using them afterwards, before I decided it wasn't healthy for me to be training with them." She let her arm rest by her side again, "My power is bone projection, and the worst part, is that even with a weak immunity to pain that keeps me from passing out, or goin' into shock, I might as well have been getting an amputation in the Civil War." She was silent a moment, before sighing, and shaking her head, uneasily shifting her feet, "I don't normally talk about my powers, It's hard to put into exact words, what it's like."

Victoria slowly took Dragonfly's hand and started shaking it. It felt odd, like she was shaking hands with an alligator. Odd... But, this is something that she would have to get used to. Drake seems perfect ally fine with people like him. Especially with Nicole and her... animal people. In either situation, Victoria responded, "Nice to meet you two." She said politely. Before she let go of his hand. For a moment Victoria wanted to mind link with him and gain his lizard man powers--- But decided against so.
Drake decided to comment further on Dragonfly's sibling comment, "Yup. There's three Blackmore, you're speaking with the oldest two of the trio, ha." He scratched behind his head with a smile, "Charles would be here... If he had a power... Then again..." Drake lost that smile as he spoke. He then shrugged, "He isn't here right now, so he's less than relevant." He spoke in a more deadpan tone.
TheⓍperator wrote:

This was almost exactly what Drake was thinking. He knew that another one of those maniacs will show up eventually. Hopefully they get enough time in between to get some practice in. "Believe me, Dragon; we all will better ourselves. Through training or..." For a moment he tried thinking of another way that someone can better themselves. Then he realized that he used the wrong words. "What I mean is that I'm certain that everyone here will better themselves like... not just powers, ya' know? I mean like mentally, physically and emotionally better themselves." He hoped that Dragonfly could understand what he meant.
"I know I am..." Victoria nervously looked at her large belly as she stood. Hopefully she could lose this weight and at least learn a bit more about her powers. Though, she felt like she was more... collected, than Drake was already. Hopefully he would advance.

Both Drake and Victoria chuckled slightly at Dragonfly's joker impression. It was a little funny. Nothing special. Drake smirked and said in a jokingly adventurous manner, pointing his hand (then finger) up into the air, "I certainly will! On wards our merry band! Adventure awaits!" He started walking towards the Training Hall, Victoria followed. The siblings marched on slowly, since they were slightly tired. Drake took this moment to take in the school, they were near the plaza. Everything looked like chaos, tables thrown over to make over, burn marks on the ground, darts, bullet holes, and blood. However, the place was being cleaned up, the Eyes were picking up everything. The machines must have their work cut out for them, since they have an entire school to fix up. Eventually, this place may look great. Maybe it'll be the paradise that it should be.
Eventually the trio made it to the training hall. Easily the biggest building in the school. It appeared that the exterior was made of thousands of light-tan bricks. Beneath those bricks was a wall of thick metal, able to withstand even the heaviest of all blows. Inside of the building contained several rooms, each of them were for several purposes. Some of these rooms were for training the body much like gyms. The rest were for practicing powers. Each of these rooms contained optimal equipment for practice of powers. Punching bags, near invincible targets, pools, and it had sparring rooms for students practice their combat skills, and relieve some stress. The front doors of the building were two large metal objects. They were to keep students out once curfew was in place.
Drake opened the mental door--- only to sidestep and held it open for Dragonfly and Victoria. They both walked inside of the lobby, followed by Drake who let the door close with a thump. The room they entered was the lobby. The room was cone shaped and split off into three different hallways marked by signs. Sparring rooms, Training Rooms, Gym Each hallway lead into a different training room. Each with a different purpose. Drake had his eyes on the Sparring rooms... But, he knew that it was too early in their training to just jump into sparring, "Alright. I think we'll start off with one of those training rooms." Drake started walking towards one of the rooms.
"Okay. Lead the way." Victoria blankly responds. As she followed her younger brother. Drake went into the first training it. It was a very large room with several blue-pads (like Yoga pads) lining the ground and walls to protect the students. Around the room were several training dummies which were various shapes and sizes. Most of them were human shaped, there were some that were round and large. This room was made for students to practice their powers offensively. This was perfect for Drake.
"So... where do you want to start?" Drake stated enthusiastically with a smile.

It quickly became apparent that Taylor is in the same situation Jake's group was in. Finding their sister. Hopefully alive. For a moment he wondered why she hadn't brought it up before. Last night... they weren't in the best of all situations. The last thing Johnny would have wanted was to be tangled up in another search even after the disaster that happened last night. Jake would love to help Taylor in her mission, since she helped them. The last thing that's needed right now is everyone not helping each other because of unfulfilled agreements and shattered hopes. "Well, ma'am, I know that Johnny is somewhere in the Hospital. We'll help you too. Let's just say that we... inspire Johnny."
"Yeah, yeah. I'll help ya' too. Just in case if we run into another of those freaks then get out of the way." Gabe quickly inserts, confident as ever. The only reason why she didn't kill Pestilence herself is because everyone else was in the way and she couldn't go crazy. "I'm strong, but not very precise...." She says with a smile as she blatantly observes Taylor from top to bottom, before stroking her chin, "... And I don't think a doll like yourself will look too good with forth-degree burns..."

Bone projection...? From what you told me.. You are telling me that you can make your bones grow at will and the only way you can use your powers is to suffer damage... Yes, we are quite a like. Except I have no immunity to pain, I can only heal my blood. Everything else... I must deal with on my own. Hunter thought to himself. He couldn't just let one thing slip from his story, "You must know: my scars aren't just from my power..." He said to her in a low, slightly saddened tone. "Yes, yes. Our powers are quite alike. I understand why you keep your powers a secret. But, I want to know why?" He attempted to explain to Bones something, "Scars like ours are hard to hide... Which is why I don't hide them; I only cover them up not to disturb people and to allow causal conversation--- I believe I just contradicted myself..." Hunter stopped, he wasn't thinking this through all the way. He was losing his original point.
"... What I'm stating is that your scars, and powers may come to light, no matter how hard you try to hide them. You should be prepared for that at least." I tried keeping my power secret from my parents... wait, I don't regard... Hunter once again thought himself in a corner, he can't really put together what he means.
Sylvia
Sylvia had floated out of the hospital early morning. The (sort of) clear blue sky was refreshing. If only she can feel the wind against her as she flies through the air. That took away from the experience of high flying. As long as she's here she'll forever feel the stagnant air of the school. Screw it. She went higher up into the air as she flew towards the Dorms. Wearing the same outfit that she was wearing last night. She had went to sleep in one of the rooms in the Hospital. Wasn't the best sleeping experience, but she didn't want to run around when there could be a monster out at night. Now that it's nothing but kittens and sunshine, Sylvia was going to go about her day like it was. Without her sunglasses, since they were destroyed in the action. Hopefully she can just eat some food without some fool ticking her off by asking about her eyes. She picked up speed and reached the front door to the dorms.
She slowed down as she started flying inside. Since flying at high speeds indoors is a bad idea. Her objective was the cafeteria. After a minute of flying she eventually reached the room, she entered the room through one of the side entrances slowly. Only to stop in shock and gasp loudly. The room was destroyed, some chickensh*t had ruined the food. After the initial shock of seeing what happened here had worn off, it was replaced with rage and anger. When Sylvia got mad, she didn't exactly think straight. "What the f*ck!" She screamed. Before flying high above (near the ceiling) the wreckage and circling around the destruction. "Who the living hell would be a big enough d*ckhead to pull of this sh*t!? I mean what the f*ck!? We all f*cking eat from here! Which one of those dumb@sses would pull sh*t like this?! If I find out who, I will royally kick their @ss! They won't be able to sit their @sses down, yeah, because my foot will put a hole in all that sh*t! I want answers, motherf*ckers and I want them right f*cking now!" Sylvia ranted very loudly, circling around the wreckage mindlessly while doing so.

Bones just sighed and shook her head, "Look, I don't let people know what my powers are, specifically because they don't need to know. There are some aspects I can't hide from them, so I let their minds wander, because until I think I can trust them fully, I won't risk losing the element of surprise. If we were jumped by one person, then who's to say others won't turn on us? It's better if they don't have a clear idea of what my abilities are, because if someone ever turns out to be an enemy, I want to make sure they're good and off-balance when I surprise them." She shrugged, "They probably think I'm a fire-type elemental meta, or something. It'd be easy to make them think that, considering that my natural temperature would be considered a low fever, by most standards. Did I forget to mention I eat rocks? I mean, I literally eat stones you'd find on the ground, I can digest them, and it's kind of a required part of my diet, because I need all those minerals, and start getting malnutrition when I don't."
She stopped leaning against the wall and shifted her feet, "As for my scars, I do try to hide them, because who would want to talk to me otherwise? Everyone would stare, and would probably want to ask how I got them, but would be to embarrassed to actually go through with it. The whole reason they're not covered up right now is because of the fact that all I have to cover them up with is this black jacket, and it's uncomfortably warm, because I ain't actually running a fever. I only wear it when other people are present, and I didn't think anyone would be here, so I took it off." She frowned for a moment, "Actually, I'm going to leave the building soon to go look for my bird friend. It's nagging at me, nobody bothered to look for her, and she's probably stuck somewhere, too weak from the Omicron to really move, and she's got a messed up fibula, to make it worse. You can come with me, if you want, after you finish lookin' for whatever it is that you wanted to find in here, but I don't exactly know what your views are on animal meta-humans. Half the people I've met recently look like animals, and they're all great people, but so many other people don't treat them like they were even human beings."

The way Dragonfly lived required him to keep in good shape. Defying gravity by climbing up walls and being able to run at solid speeds for a relatively prolonged amount of time kept him that way. The training dummies immediately caught his eyes. His brutality would almost always incapacitate a humanoid opponent by simply pinning them down and using his weight against them. Because his normal powers wer survival based and he had no actual power based attacks, Dragonfly was solely a physical attacker. He used his physical adaptations to inflict harm, and he was good at it too. He hoped that he gained a spot on the list of 'People not to screw with.' to everyone after what he did to Zizz.
His first target looked similar to the toys that would fall limply when the string that held them up was released, but then would tense up to a standing position when it was pulled again. It had a single base leg that would slacken if knocked down or hit with enough force. It looked like it was a simulator for practicing how much force would be required to knock something down. His predatorial instincts took over as soon as he identified his target. "I like that one." He said simply, flicking his head in it's direction. He then tilted his body horizontally and burst off into a sprint, jumping high into the air a few feet away from the dummy before landing on it. The dummy immediately slackened, falling to the ground limp as Dragonfly went for it's neck instinctively. Realizing this, he backed off the dummy, and it slowly rose back to it's full height.
"Well that'ss interessting!" Dragonfly proclaimed, circling the dummy to try and get a better view of it to see how it worked. Although the mechanics were probably both inside the dummy and under the floor. He was happy to be actually doing something productive for once rather than sitting around in the sewers with a makeshift fishing rod to try and catch anything that might be in the water. Nothing was really healthy enough to consider eating though. Or just being down there to protect himself and others from... him. He actually had people who wanted him around. Imagine that! His felt his arm should be ready to be used again soon. Although it was still stiff and uncomfortable. He thanked himself for his regenerative powers, before turning to Drake and Victoria. "Thiss would be great for tessting out the knock back power of your attackss.

I believe I have crossed some line. Pressed too much on the subject. I'd rather that we keep this conversation, and this encounter; between us. I don't want them pressing on to me about what I was doing in the office. Tell them that I was doing nothing? Or because my true name is nothing but a title of shame? No. I don't think I'd ever want that. Nor do you.... And you eat rocks? "Very well then, I believe that I have... pressed too much on you. I will relent--- If you tell no one that I was even here." Hunter spoke in a very blank tone, "I do have one last... comment, about potential opponents among us: you are completely warranted in hiding your powers. There are several people here. Not every one of them are going to be... righteous... I wouldn't place your faith in any of them until you find out all their... layers." I do not know who you are, or what you've done. There's a light in all of us that's our purity.... There's also darkness underneath the light, holding our sins and atrocities. I am going to trust that on one of your several layers; you are righteous. "... I choose not to hide my powers from them--- I merely keep it out of subject, lest I want any of them thinking I'm a monster...."

If I take off my coat right now you'll see a thousand scars. People are quite frightened by that. They'll think that I'm some of faceless and cold warrior, who's been in countless battles. Or been in a horrible accident. When I've been attacked physically and emotionally by someone I love. "I wouldn't take off your jacket until you are certain you are alone next time. Because neither of us didn't know we were here. It would have made some uncomfortable situations if our positions were switched with anyone in the school" I believe it was fate pushing two similar people together. "I think I'd stopped discussing our scars, it'd bring up memories that I wanted to bury by coming here." At this point Hunter's hand had stopped bleeding.

Am omicron burst? That's rare. Very rare. This fight last night may have pushed them to their very limits that it mutated her abilities permanently. I have to see this for myself.... As for my views on the Meta-humans, I do not hate them... It'd be so idiotic and narrow-minded, I might as well start hating myself. Because my powers were the catalyst that gave me my scars. My point... to myself, is that my powers changed my appearance like theirs changed them. Hunter scrolled over to the papers he had set up for his blood art technique and stuffed them all in his bag. I can come here later. There is no need for anyone to come in here. "I will join you in your pursuit. I hope your... 'bird-friend' is still alive, if she's injured I can help you. I am quite skilled in using first-aid kits. Though, I don't know how much it'd do if she has a physical mutation. And I do not hate animal meta-humans. I do not dislike people because their appearance... is different. That is the same narrow-minded stupidity that turned the world upside down."
After a moment Hunter inserts, "If you ever need to talk. I'm always listening." As a sign of possibly friendship between them. He hasn't known what it was like to have a friend in years. That'll hopefully change.

Bones frowned slightly, finding Hunter's speech pattern vaguely odd, as though he were in deep thought that half-distracted him on occasion from responding. "Well, okay, then." She said. She untied her hoodie from her waist and put it on, zipping it up to just an inch beneath her collarbone. "She has a few weird mutations, but I think for the most part the structure of her legs as far as bones are concerned is relatively the same, although her feet are more avian now." She started out the door, "I have an idea that she might be in the woods, somewhere, she flew away from the fight over the lake in that direction."

Hunter simply threw his bag over his shoulder and kept his sword in his hand tightly. To defend himself just in case another one of those monsters show up. I believe I show little concern for your.... interpretation of your friend. I will see her when we meet and can judge her with my own eyes. It's like a surprise. Drake & Victoria
Drake was thoroughly impressed with Dragonfly's show of power. The competitive gears in his head that he was born with were starting to wind. He got a very smug and egotistical grin, as he started stroking his jaw. His eyes slowly crept over to Victoria, who was standing right next to him. "Isn't he impressive?" He spoke in a fake, sarcastic and obviously joking tone. He started chuckling as Victoria managed to force a half-smile. He took note of the half smile and shouted at Dragonfly, "Haha... That was pretty cool. You'll have to show me that sometime." Before chuckling again.
Victoria shrugged, "Yeah. These things could be cool for testing my strength." She spoke in a low, unmotivated tone. The powers that she already possesses are telekinesis and forced-regeneration. She can only use one at a time, and her skill with telekinesis wasn't too good. She figured that she should try out her powers. She closed her eyes and focused for a moment, adjusting her brain-waves to that telekinetic that she met, "Give me a moment..." As she saw the training dummy that wasn't attached to the ground and focused on it. She tried moving it with her mind, with little success. It only started shaking heavily while Victoria wanted to lift it off the ground. A bright-blue aura surrounded the dummy. She let out a loud sigh as she narrowed her eyes and focused on it even harder. It appeared that she was strained.
"Woah, woah, don't pop a blood vessel there, Toria." Drake inserts worryingly, taking note of the strain Victoria is putting on herself. The last thing that he wanted was her pushing herself to her limits and harming herself.
"I got this..." Victoria mutters loudly. Before trying harder to lift the combat dummy. Eventually she gave up on trying to lift the thing up. She didn't know why she couldn't pull this off. Maybe it was a matter of strength--- She could be stronger. Or some aspect of her power preventing her from using it effectively.
"Doesn't look like it..." Drake inserts in response to Victoria's reassurance.
"Will you shut up?" Victoria snaps back, half-way turning her body towards Drake, "We're here to practice, right?! Then shove the over-competitive ego-stroking bull...." Drake turned his head towards her, and at the corners of his eyes he saw the Dummy move.
"Haha... Turns out that you were trying too hard..." Drake says in an amused tone. Before looking at the floating training dummy, surrounded by a blue aura.
"... Oh my god! I did it! Holy hell, I thought I'd never get it down!" It turns out that Victoria was trying too hard at trying to lift the object. The telekinesis that she copied requires a relaxed mind-set, opposed to thinking too much about it. The moment she took her focus off of it to yell at Drake, she lifted it off the ground. She was immediately filled with glee as she made the dummy levitate with ease. Now that she figured out how to use this power, she figured that she should at least show it off. She lifted up the dummy high up into the air and picked the largest stationary dummy on the other side of the room. A wicked smile crept on her face as she launched the dummy at the target with such force that a loud boom could be heard. At impact the dummy she launched bounced off the target and dropped to the ground (with another boom). "Try topping that lil' bro." Victoria said sarcastically.
"... Now you've just made it a challenge," Drake puts his fore-arm over his eyes as he smiles a mile-wide, "... You what I say? The harder the challenge, the larger the green!" He took several steps away from Victoria and looked at the furthermost target. He spread his legs apart as wide as they would go, before leaning forward enough for him to put two fingers on the ground. He looked directly up at the dummy and smirked. "Have you ever went one on one with a thunder-god?" Drake quietly says under his breathe (which is now his pre-combat one liner). Bright blue electricity started dancing across his being. His hair started flowing as electricity enshrouded it, and his eyes glowed bright blue. The rest of his body was enshrouded in the thick aura of electricity, which left his "core" being nothing but a pitch-black shadow under the aura. The moment his transformation was complete, Drake started a charge directly at his dummy and he rammed it shoulder-first as hard as he could. The second of impact electricity sparked in all directs, as the room they were in flashed much brighter. He was so bright that it was hard to look directly at him, Victoria covered her eyes. Unfortunately, all the dummies were very durable and hard. This specific dummy was made to be shot with powers, not attacked directly. A sharp pain filled Drake's shoulder and he let out a gasp. "God d*mn that hurts!" He loudly shouts as he dropped to ground. The flash had faded and everyone could see Drake. While it was too bright to see him in action, Drake's reaction and state left little to the imagination.
"Hahahahahahaa... Next time 'Thunder-God'..." Victoria had read Drake's thoughts and heard his Thunder-God comment, (they were more comfortable with each other, Drake let reading his thoughts slide) "... Don't show off! Ha. You made yourself look like a total jack @ss!"
"Haha, real funny. Funny woman." Drake got up and said to Victoria sarcastically, "Once we hit the next stage of our training, you're going to be wishing that you hadn't said that!" Drake stood straight up and cracked his neck, they had completely forgotten about Dragonfly. He quickly reverted back to his human form, the electricity faded away on all of his body. Except for his right hand. Using his left hand he reached into his pockets and pulled out a cigarette and put it in between his lips. Now was not the most appropriate time, but, it was his little bad habit. He pressed his electrical right hand against the tip of the cigarette, lighting it. Drake's hand reverted back, matching the rest of his body. He blew out a puff of smoke. "So, Dragon? What'd you think...? I'm thinking that we cut the showing off..." He peered at Victoria, who sent a thought to Drake's head.
'Showing off?' The only person doing that is you. Haha. Victoria thought to him using her telepathy.
Drake ignored this and continued on with his statement, "... And get some real training in... Are you up for some sparring?" He put his cigarette in between his finger and put out his other hand to Dragonfly, "Don't worry, I'm gentle."
((I have to say, this was fun to write. Making Victoria a bit more than a background character is rather entertaining.))

Maxx Toron wrote:

A half-smirk crept on the scarred girl's face. She was just wandering around here looking for something valuable. She had had expected to find anyone to have interactions with like this. In fact the only person she really expected to be talking to was her boss; Johnny. While she didn't exactly have any particular loyalties towards him, she felt like he was going to fill in her part of their deal... If he doesn't--- Then he won't be doing too much betraying with a crowbar jammed through his skull. She considered Claire's offer, "Yeah... I guess I'll help you. I don't need any training myself but..." Lemontea looked away for a second, trying to piece together a sentence--- Before giving up and saying something else in a low-tone, "... Yeah, people call me Lemontea."
Lily & Sylvia
Lily had returned to the cafeteria to begin her investigation. There had to be some traces left behind, hair, blood... something. She wasn't hoping to find the exact evidence she needed to find this maniac, but all she wanted was a hint. She walked back to the cafeteria room with a strut in her walk. The closer she got, the more she heard something odd. Sounded like some girl ranting, swearing like a sailor. She threw open the doors to the cafeteria and looked directly up at the floating girl in black, with (obviously dyed) silver hair. For a second Lily felt like she was going to ask what the girl was doing here--- The thing stopping her was that she didn't want to come off as... Paranoid. From the girl's agitated reaction it appears that she knows as much as Lily, except she's much more pissed off. While hesitant, Lily called out to the girl, "Yo! Floating girl! Can you, um... come down for a second?"
Sylvia immediately stopped and looked at the purple-haired girl. Before swooping down like an eagle, in less than a second she was face to face with Lily, while Sylvia was floating. "What?! Can't you f*cking see that I'm not in a good mood right now!? Sh*t..." Sylvia rudely stated, she wasn't in the best of moods right now.
Lily took a few steps back, surprised, "Woah, woah, woah. Calm down there, um, what's your name...?" Lily looked around the room feeling like she's forgotten something--- Before it hit her, "I'm Carmen, but people call me Lily."
"I'm motherf*cker Sylvia, and I'm going to shove my boot up the @sshole behind this bullsh*t!" Sylvia shouted at the top of her lungs.
Lily wanted to calm down the situation; because at this point any small things will provoke the silver-haired girl. "Listen... how about you just have a seat and take a breather, yeah? Because getting... angry, will solve nothing."
"The f*ck are you telling me!? That I should give up trying to f*ck that sh*t-head up? Hell no! That f*cker's dead the second I see him--- her--- Both, whatever." Sylvia landed feet first on the ground and crossed her arms.
That went no where... Lily thought to herself on the failed attempt at calming things. "I think you have pretty eyes." Lily tries to compliment Sylvia.
"If you know what's good for you; don't talk about my eyes." Sylvia poked Lily in the chest while saying so. This was an improvement. Even if it's a slight one. Sylvia wasn't screaming at the top of her lungs talking about killing the person. The major-annoyance of people talking about her eyes had distracted her from her rage (Just not completely).
"Alright, alright, Sylvia." Lily calmly says, "I just want all of us to be calm..." She trailed off. Until Sylvia was calm she was going to withhold any questions pertaining to her investigation.
Sylvia ignores all of this and asks, "Do you have an idea of which f*cker pulled this off...?"
"... Well, yeah." Lily looked around the room nervously.
"Then take me to them, I'd like to share a few words with the b*tch..." Sylvia says in an unnervingly calm manner.
"No, no, no, no; that's not how society-" Not even in the loosest definition of the word can this place be called society, "- Works. We have to find evidence, get suspects---" Lily attempted to be polite and calm as possible, only to be interrupted by Sylvia.
"Then what the f*ck are we waiting for?! This b*stard to come from behind and f*ck us in the @ss!?" Sylvia shouted, "I am coming with YOU. Don't like it? Deal it, motherf*cker. Because as of now we're stuck with each other." Sylvia was intent on finding this person no matter what.
Lily was rather disgusted by the girl's rough, rude, ignorant and downright idiotic behavior. This is going to be the longest day of my life... Lily thought to herself as she spoke to Sylvia, "Well, we can get started..." Lily turns around out the door.
"Let's go, let's go, d*mmit!" Sylvia says as she followed.
Johnny
In the common's room of the Hospital, Johnny Valos was sleeping on a sofa. The commons room was a very small room and it felt a bit cramped. Pressed up against the wall were several brown sofas, on every corner of the room. In the middle of the room were brown coffee tables. Attached to the walls were several flat-screen TVs. Last night he had fell asleep while watching the nearest TV. He wasn't wearing the outfit he had last night--- In fact it was a stripped version of that outfit. He was wearing nothing but a white Tank-top and white boxers, with hundreds of red hearts printed on them. He was still asleep and would remain asleep until he was ready to be awake... or someone wakes him up.

Dragonfly was impressed by Drake's abilities while in his electricity mode. Ambiant fearful. He realized that if he jumped on Drake like he did the dummy, Drake's electrical powers could shock him into submission, or worse. His own powers could be used against him in the state he had been in. "Depends on the ruless." he began, walking a bit closer to Drake and his sister. "Will you sshock me to the point of brain damage?" His head was pretty screwed up as it was, and it wasn't like his skin was made of rubber. It was only slightly stronger than human skin because it was made of keratin like any other reptiles. The fact that it had to have the ability to change color so fast, made it a miracle that that it wasn't weaker than the average human's.
Suddenly, he had the bright idea of making the rules a little bit more even. "Here'ss the condition I'll agree with." He stated, lifting his gums into a serpentine smile. "You.. copied my powerss to an extent yessterday. You shift to that and ssparr with me, and I'd be happy to take your challenge. I can't train to fight electricity." he said, cracking his knuckled. "Do we have a deal? I personally think that training on your new power could come in handy later." Dragonfly's arm was usable for now. It wouldn't be blocking too many attacks, but it wouldn't break from any either. His body's ability to repair itself was incredible. It fought off shock, giving him a window of opportunity for him to either finish the job or run. The later almost always being the choice he took. "Tell me, Drake; how well do you copy powerss? I know they're not exact replicass becausse you didn't look like a clone of me yessterday. But I want to know."
Dragonfly personally knew he would have a large advantage in the beginning, as he knew full well what his powers were capable of and to what extent they could be used. Drake did not. Plus, it did not seem like Drake had a tail yesterday. His tail was just prehensile enough to be counted as an appendage and with it's length made it a great weapon that he could use to either trip up or beat up like a baseball bat. If worse came to worse, he could always drop it. His tail was like an elephant's trunk in the fact that it was extremely muscular and had no bone. In fact, the only bone was at the base of his pelvis. This was a powerful defense mechanism, which was great when coupled with his ability to regenerate. It would take several weeks for it to grow back, but the ability to regenerate a whole appendage back made him wonder if he could do the same with the other limbs. Not that he really wanted to try.
"Sso what do you ssay? Lizard verssuss half lizard? Or are you too sscared to meet your new power'ss maker?"

Drake & Victoria

"Nah, I think I can hold back..." Drake hesitantly states. He looked around the room. The three of them together hadn't caused too much damage to the equipment. Maybe it was because they were all made to take damage like this (In that case, Drake needs to start trying harder). Victoria lifted up another dummy and threw it across the room. It hit the opposite wall with some force. It made her realize something, but she was going to wait for them to finish up before she tells them. Drake walked over and leaned against a wall before putting his cigarette in between his lips. Waiting for Dragonfly to finish.

Drake was immediately filled with competitive delight. Fight without his thunder-form? That was quite the challenge, especially since he only has realized that he could copy multiple powers yesterday. His potential was limitless. All he would have to do is see how many powers he can have at one time then he's all set. He needed to focus on now. From what he can tell Dragonfly's powers are very basic (Then again he's never implored them, so that's up for debate). He could probably figure out his powers very easily. All he needs is a minute or two to figure out how these new powers. Dragonfly would probably still have the advantage. "... You're on." He looks down with a devious grin. "Just give me a moment to suit up." He started to stretch his arms straight out. Then he focused for a moment. His skin started turning a very dark green, and was covered in large rough scales. In certain parts of his body he has grown rough keretin spikes all other his upper body (shoulders, chest, arms) and some other places (knees, feet). This natural armor had him somewhat more defense. His eyes completely altered to exactly look like the eyes of snakes with black irises and the rest of his eyes were golden (and glowing brightly). The teeth in his mouth grew sharper, and his lips had disappeared to reveal his alligator like teeth. Drake grew sharp nails on the tip of his fingers, he could slice flesh with his bare hands. On his spine he had thick spikes protruding. His hair had virtually disappeared. While Drake's transformation was drastic, his face remained.
"Check. It. Out." Drake smugly states in an incredibly deep, monstrous voice.
Victoria wasn't too comfortable seeing her brother transform like this. It reminded her of last night. Something she didn't exactly want to think too much about. She shrugged and took a few steps back.
TheⓍperator wrote:

"I don't really know. I just touch some meta-human and I turn into their power... I think." Drake didn't understand his powers just yet. Which is why he came to the school in the first place, to learn how to understand them. Hell, if he keeps practicing. "Hell. I don't know... Yet, I came to this school to train--- And that's what I'm going to do, abandoned school or not, ya hear?"
Victoria took this moment to make an observation to the pair. "You know we're in a tight enclosed area, right?"
Drake looks at Victoria and says, "Yeah. Less room means a quicker, cleaner f--- Spare."
"Well, you should go somewhere actually made for this kind of stuff. Because these dummies-" Victoria telekinetically lifts up one of the training dummies a few feet off the ground, "-Will get in your way, right?"
"Yeah, yeah... Guess you're right..." Drake puts both of his monstrous lizard arms behind his head, poking the cigarette that was in his mouth out. He looked slightly annoyed, "... Got any alternatives?" Drake muttered.
"I saw signs fro sparring rooms at the lobby." Victoria inserts to attempt to be helpful as possible.
"Well then. Lead the way. The first and only daughter of Blackmore... Heha." He pointed towards the door they just went through. ((Assuming that Dragonfly follows, if not then screw you, fam.)) Victoria lead Drake and Dragonfly through the hallways of the training room all the way to the lobby. Following the signs from there they made their way to the first sparring room. It was a very large room, in the center of the room there was an elevated, square platform that was padded to prevent injury. This is known as a Sparring ring. This platform looked much like a Boxing Ring with five padded ropes tethered to a thin post to keep the fighters inside. On both sides of the sparring ring were bleachers placed for people to watch, in front of the bleachers were heavily resistant bullet-proof glass screens. To prevent injuries to the spectators.
Drake was ecstatic, he immediately ran over to the platform and climbed up on it under the ropes. "Woooo, now this place is perfect! Don't you agree Dragon?!" He immediately walked over to a corner of the ring and stood up against a post. He was ready to go, "Are you ready, Dragon? Cuz' I'm always ready...." A half-smirk crept across his face.
"You two have fun. Just don't hit each other too hard--- You have to keep your strength up in case another one of them shows up!" Victoria playfully says as she walks over to the nearest set of bleachers to sit down.

Later, Bones had led Hunter to the forest, where they began to search for her bird-friend. "Nicole! You there? Hey! Nicky, come on!" She called, starting to wonder if she really was dead. Just before she was about to say she was giving up, there was a rustle of leaves, and the snapping of twigs from above, as though something were in one of the trees. She looked up, just as she heard a faint voice, "Up here..." Nicole appeared to be in the fork of a tree, leaning against one branch, with her wings tangled up in smaller shoots. She held one leg off the trunk, and the swelling, as well as the fact that it just simply looked tender, suggested she was trying to avoid injuring her leg any further. Her deep blue eyes blinked once, with clear eyelids. She looked extremely exhausted and weak, "Bones...my leg...I can't land..." Of course, she couldn't land without tumbling to the ground and possibly injuring herself even worse. She was stuck up in the tree, with no safe way to get down. Bones looked around, "Don't worry, we'll get you down!" She said, although part of it was to reassure herself. Nicole was a nice person, even though it was obvious something about Bones' scent bugged her, she was always polite and kind. She didn't want the bird-girl to get hurt, her state was already quite terrible, considering.

Hunter
Hunter looked directly up to see Nicole stuck in the tree. It looked like she was tangled up as well. He pointed his blood-sword to the ground, raised it high up into the air and dropped it to the ground hard as he could. Embedding it into the dirt. He knelt down and looked at the dirt. He was intelligent, he devoted most of that intelligence right to figuring out ways to get Nicole down safely. Hunter went into a cycle of deep thought, doodling random drawings into the dry dirt with his finger--- It was his way of keeping focus.
Bone's friend is stuck in a tree. I will--- No, must, get her down from there. There are little ways of getting her down safely aside from climbing up there... I could use the Blood Art.... No, I don't think I'd be able to make anything that goes up that high without killing myself... Perhaps we could find something. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is find a ladder or a rope--- No, a ladder is the best choice. If I can't find any way to get up there, then we have to find a way to get Nicole down. There is no possible way to get her down without causing her further harm, I can accept that. While it may sound cruel and heartless. There is no--- I am going off subject again, must focus. The only thing I can think of is going to the dorms and finding a mattress for her to land on--- No, if I remember correctly her leg is stuck perhaps we can find someone who'd be willing to help us. I know there's someone who can help.
Hunter abruptly paused his deep thought, and his doodling in the dirt (he managed to draw a village of cabins). His eyes opened up wide as he stood straight up. He looked at Bones and told her his ideas on how to get Nicole down, "Bones, I have several ways we can get her down. I'm going to keep this short in the name of brevity; We can either find a way to get up to her, maybe a ladder. If that fails we can either find a way to safely get her down without any further major injuries or finding someone who can assist us." He spoke blankly as always.

Bones frowned, "Well, I don't know about the ladder, she couldn't climb down without using her injured leg, and her wings would get in the way..." She began, but Nicole, having heard the conversation, interrupted, "If you can find a way to cushion my fall...then I should be able to use my wings to make a safe crash landing, but they're tangled in the branches...If I just rip them out...my feathers will be damaged, and I might not be able to fly at all..." Bones sighed and shook her head, "Okay, then, it looks like we're going to need to grab some pillows or something from the Dorm, and a ladder. We can help her untangle her wings, and then she can use them to land on whatever cushion we set out."

Dragonfly opted to remain silent as Drake climbed over the ropes and into the ring. He was watching Drake in his new form looking for ways to exploit it other than the fact that he didn't know it too well. Dragonfly was larger than Drake still, and perhaps stronger, but Drake's form was bulkier than his and was slightly armored like a Crocodilians. This meant he was built to take attacks and then return them without too much delay. Like a tank, in a way. He could use that to his advantage in the fact that he was more agile than Drake if his armor was indeed as strong as an Alligators. He could pivot and turn easily as well as dodge attacks. However, this was because he wasn't as heavily armored and wouldn't take as many hits. However, there was one advantage he knew he had over Drake.
Camouflage.
Nothing with decent armor had the ability to camouflage because that would negate the whole purpose of the armor. His scales had this amazing ability because they were weaker. He could become virtually invisible to Drake while in the ring, and employ hit and run tactics to wither Drake down before ultimately performing his devastating signature.
All of this went through Dragonfly's head in the span of two seconds.
As soon as Drake was in the ring, his mind shifted from analytic to agressive. He jumped, managing to make it just over the ropes and into the ring. While his powers were basic, they were all major enhancements of his physical abilities. Pushing them far beyond what would've normally been possible as an average human. "Letss begin..." He said, creating a hiss that turned into a growl near then end, before his body's color warped and then disappeared into the surroundings. So any video camera in the area it would look like a twelve foot long lizard became a ghost and disappeared, leaving the other lizard man alone in the ring.
Dragonfly tread softly, trying to work his way around Drake, who would have to grow eyes on the back of his head and fast. The pads were firm enough to not cave under his feet, which was a blessing as if it did it would give Drake an easier way to track his movements. He then decided that he didn't like the fact that Drake was well balanced, and as he got close enough, he dropped lower to the ground and span, swinging his long and powerful tail low to the ground in an attempt to throw Drake's feet out from under him. IF it worked, that is. If Drake had inherited his hearing, he could potentially hear the whistle of air his tail created and get out of the way.
