| Farkas woke up and was startled this wasn't the bar he jumped up startled and looked around and first noticed the chains he was bound in and then he noticed all the others and the fact they were outside. He suddenly became very irate and shouted "Oh my gosh why can't we go one freaking town with out something going wrong I knew it was to good to be true!!" he cluched his face and then the next thought that came to his mind was Unessa he began searching franticaly "Oh thank the gods" she was laying down asleep next to him and he decided to wake her up. He shook her until she opened her eyes "Hey babe what happend and where are we" she started to panic she looked around and noticed they where outside "Unessa baby don't panic but I have some good news and some bad news the good news is were together and the bad news is where chained in the middle of nowhere and I have no idea whats happening. Unessa jumped up to meet Farkas and looked him in the eyes and grabed him by the shirt "NOT PANIC! how could you possibly not expect me to panic please tell me this is a joke because I think I won't be able to handle something like this!." "I'm sorry babe but Im serious I'm sure we will just find out who did this soon and slit there throught so don't worry." Unessa seemed to calm down alittle by the thought but was still fliping out and embraced Farkas and hugged him tightly and wouldn't let go. Farkas held her tight as well and stroked her hair as he tried to calm her down. | |

| The gray feline didn't look like he was going to respond any time soon, but the noise had woken the other two up. The first thing Kader noticed was one of the tents very suddenly squirming around, a muffled voice coming from inside. After a second, a tan, reptilian head with slitted green eyes poked out of the tent.
The serpent was far from happy, and began to yell, "Hey! Who's making all the noise?" It was then that his eyes settled on the chained group in the middle of his camp, and he went silent. The feline was staring at him like he was an idiot, which didn't help things.
"Oh..." after a moment, the serpent grinned and came the rest of the way out of his now lopsided tent. "So, you're all awake? Heh. Well, my name's Kabiri, and this is Gerrin." Kabiri spoke as if he had just met the group during some type if party, not at all like the truth, that he had kidnapped them. This rather irked Kader.

Somewhere in the woods nearby, a glowing creature hid. She stalked the group, not quite daring to get closer. But she would. When the time was right, she would go in. And so help those who stood in her way when she did. | |

| Some ways off from the campsite, Desiderii had settled into her daytime form and was considering what to do. She had stalked the party during the night in her Night Mare guise, hoping to sneak in a few dreams to her clients so she could escape this catastrophe of a night. She had no such luck, as she didn't dare risk getting close enough to be detected.
Oh how she had desired to put a hoof in that snake's face. The dawn had come, and she had raced off into the darkness to find a safe place to transform.
Her daytime form was much more placid. The concern of her nightmare schedule was no longer so great in her mind- now there was a burning curiosity. What was going on here? A sense of mild worry had settled over her as well. She was concerned for those who had previously dwelt in the town, and especially concerned for the two equines that were now captured.
The large amount of smoke on the horizon also troubled her, but she didn't dare investigate in case the three kidnappers elected to move camp somewhere else while she was gone. Then again, she couldn't approach the camp because she feared capture. Distressed, she pawed at the earth and snorted. What was she to do? | |

| Aiko glared at Kabiri. She was, plainly stating, ticked off. She pulled at her chains as she spoke back to Kabiri, "I don't care who you are- I just want to be released from these bothersom chains. Do you know how insulting such a thing is to a kitsune!? I demand that you release m- us! Everyone!"
Aiko's ears were flattened against her head in anger. She attempted to wrap her hand around her necklace, as doing so helped calm her nerves. Of course, the chains kept Aiko restrained from such a action. This only made her more anger and, in truth, nervous. She was so gonna escape these chains.
Aiko tried to let one arm turn to its normal kitsune form, and... wait. Why wouldn't it work? To Aiko's horror, she realized the chains repelled magic. Nonononono.... Such a thing made it impossible for her to transform. She found such a thing like losing a sense of living. She spoke up, her voice less demanding and more pleading. "Please take these things off of me- I want to turn to my normal form! I-I can't. Just take these things off- I want to change back." | |

| "I'm afraid that will not be happening."
The third tent opened abruptly, letting a thin, white drake slip out. She fixed her aqua eyes on Aiko, and they held all the sympathy of a large rock. There was, however, a glint of amusement showing through, if not much. She smirked cooly and examined each of the prisoners.
"I am Lessya," she stated, "and if you pay close attention to what I say, you may be unbound."
Kader, in the meantime, was listening. He was almost always listening, but at the moment he didn't look that way. He was seated cross legged, away from the group, with his tail curled around him. He clenched his hands, almost clawing his own palms, with effort. Nothing happened. Not so much as a spark. He could almost feel the energy, lightning dancing under his skin, but when he tried to release it... Nothing.
He didn't growl. He refused to show his emotions in front of enemies. But if he hasn't been so reserved, he would have let loose a roar of frustration, enough to drown out all other conversation. But he didn't, and he wouldn't. He listened. | |

| Aiko glared at Lessya, still trying to change back but to no avail. She felt helpless at this point, which didn't improve the situation. She tugged at the chains even more before giving up. Obviously they weren't going to release her. Maybe a different topic will get some answers.
"At least tell me why we're here. We should know at least that much. Maybe..." Aiko's right ear twitched, "I'll cooperate if you explain everything. No annoying yelling." maybe. For Aiko it just depended if the answer is good enough for her taste. | |

| When Terran had located Aiko and knew she wasn't harmed she instantly calmed down. She gave Aiko a quick smile as if to say, 'good morning it's nice to see you're still alive.' But after that she was silent. It wasn't that she was panicked she just didn't want to tick off her captors. In the worst case senecio they would figure out Aiko was special to her and move her somewhere where they wouldn't be able to see each other, and that would suck big time.
As the captors began to introduce themselves Terran continued to remain oddly calm. She gave each of them a slight bow and a "Good morning mister/misses." Terran didn't see the point of attacking her captors if good behavior truly did get rewarded. One thing Terran did want to know was where all her stuff was, because it was clearly not on her. | |

| Edur snorted softly, tossing a lock of his gleaming silver mane so that it was not covering up his right eye. His ears pricked forward, and though such a thing in horses indicated a good temper and focus, the tightened set of his jaw suggested that if someone came to close he might bite. His eyes, glinting with the intensity of a cold flame, focused on the white drake, narrowing slightly. He said nothing, but it was clear he had no intentions of trusting these three kidnappers, though there was no way anyone could condemn him for feeling in such a way. Edur didn't believe a word of what Lessya had spoken. These strangers had already used a spell that caused nightmares, which was in itself like a form of torture, and then had intentionally bound creatures that most knew better not to interfere with.
Edur did not care if Lessya spoke of ways to have his chains removed, her cool, calm manner made him uneasy, and he had no reason to believe that his captors would keep any promises. Immortals and Mortals alike could lie, and if there was one thing Edur knew, in such dishonest situations as these, there was every reason to think that there was some dirty trick that the three were planning to pull. Edur pricked his ears back, and watched, but he intentionally focused on other sounds, the sounds of his own breathing and heart, and that of Skye beside him. He would not speak at all, nothing he said would save him, but nothing he said could condemn him this way, either.
Skye snorted, shaking her head slightly, and it was clear from the expression on her face that she couldn't believe the manner of her captors. Certainly, the pegasus had spirit, it showed in the bright light of her eyes, the way her head was raised and held high, despite the chains, as though she were determined that even if she was immobilized, she would find joy in the movements she was permitted. She did not let her spirits sink easily, though it was definitely a bad situation, what she had been put in. Bound, grounded, and cut off from her magic, although technically, most pegasi used their magic without thinking, and it wasn't really anything super fancy. Chains alone would have been enough to keep her prisoner; she didn't even have any magic that could break them. She only walked on clouds and kicked the rain out of them. She didn't speak, because it was much more fun to leave people to think they couldn't talk. | |

| Lessya looked at Aiko. Â She studied the prisoner calmly for a moment, then nodded almost invisibly. Â She spoke, her tone of voice showing how little she cared for the prisoners, and how much she considered herself superior, "we were sent," she said, "to find those with access to powerful magic. Â Those with potential."
She scanned the entire group before continuing, "the form of magic does not matter. Â What does matter, however, is your cooperation. Â Stay calm, and do not try to escape, and you may eventually be unbound."
Kabiri took the opportunity to come up in front of Lessya, almost hitting her with the back of his head as he raised himself to the average eye level. Â "If you do try and leave, though," he said, baring his fangs, "well... Let's just say you do not want to know what happens if I bite you..."
Kader snorted quietly. Â Of course not. Â A serpent's magic was in their venom, and even those that did not have much ability that would be considered magical had a fairly unique type of venom. Â He had no idea what would happen if any type of serpent bit him, and he preferred not to, considering how he would have to find out. Â He had already determined escaping to be a bad plan, mostly based on the fact that it would not work. Â But if he had the chance...
------------------------------
Closer... Closer... She hid inside a thick bush, all but concealing her natural glow that couldn't be shut off. Â It was almost time, she just needed to wait until they weren't paying attention. Â She kept her pale blue, pupilless eyes fixed on the camp, unblinking. Â A true mortal would have been impatient, but while the glowing feline in the bush was not that old, she knew. Â Time was not of the essence. Â Not yet. | |

| Aiko glared at Lessya as the drake studied her. Her ears were practically invisible now, flattened completely against her skull and her hair now covering them. Magic potential? She was flattered. Not. They were just looking at them like weapons, then?
Then the Kabiri fellow had the nerve to threaten them even more. Aiko glared at him. "Nice teeth," she smirked, holding in an insult. She couldn't hold in a rude comment, though. "Judging by what you've said so far, though, you need as many of us as possible. You need us- you aren't supposed to kill us are you?" she kept the smirk on her face before switching topics.
"And where is my bag? I need it! It has some important things in it." | |

| Luci slowly came to her senses. Her eyes did not open. She was very tired and tried to ignore the voices. Her paw twitched. She mumbled in a groggy whine, almost involuntarily, "Be quieeeet, I'm trying to sleeeep." She didn't even notice that she wasn't in her tent back in springvale. Apparently, she wasn't very alert at this level of tiredness. | |

| Kader's eyes widened the slightest bit at the sound of a new, albeit tired, voice. He knew that voice. Luci lived in Springvale, and they had met when she first came into town. He didn't know her incredibly well, but he did know her well enough to be outraged at her captivity. Most people see Kader as very selfish, and that could be true, but if anyone earned his protection...
Suffice it to say, Kader would have gladly electrocuted all three of his captors right then. But he couldn't. He, just like everyone else, was stuck. He settled back down, hoped no one had noticed his moment of surprise, and listened once more.
Kabiri recoiled in mock insult, just as Aiko had clearly wanted to insult him. Unfortunately, this led to him sharply hitting Lessya in the nose with his neck. His eyes went perfectly round for an instant as Lessya growled. She brought up a single paw and, with sheathed claws, shoved him away. He didn't bother to retaliate, instead moving to hide behind stone-faced Gerrin, still regarding their captives thoughtfully.
Lessya cleared her throat, as if that would somehow cause Kabiri to be less of a nuisance. "You are right," she said after she regained her composure, "however, I will have you know that if any of you somehow manage to come close to killing us," she paused, narrowing her eyes slightly to show her own doubt that would ever happen, "we have full permission to-"
She was cut off by a bright white ball of fury. The glow coming from the creature bathed the entire camp in not just light, but magic. Even as the feline pinned down Lessya, growling, her very ambience was very deliberately disabling the antimagic chains binding the prisoners. It wouldn't be long before they had full access to their magic, which meant they would probably be able to free themselves. In the meantime, their rescuer had mere seconds before Gerrin and Kabiri would be upon her, and she was barely bigger than a large housecat. | |

| Aiko held in a laugh at the mishap Kabiri had. When Lessya spoke up, she already had a good idea on what to rply with. Something about mentioning how she would kill them before they could even think of doing anything in return. In truth, though, she was nervous on what her outcome in this situation would be.
Then a bright white feline came to their rescue. Aiko jumped in surprise, but watched, smiling. It wasn't long before she felt her morphing ability available again. Aiko turned completely into a fox, the chains easily slipping off before running to Terran on all fours. "You okay?" she questioned quickly. | |

| Liltih wasn't particularly impressed with the way the captors handed their prisoners, even less so when a glowing white feline charged into the camp and managed to weaken the chains. She personally could care less about the captives, she was here to follow the group back to whoever had sent them. All around it was amusing to her, maybe even beneficial. Unless of course they weren't allowed to return empty handed, which would complicate things. In the end all she decided to do was add to the chaos. Suddenly there was deafening maniacal laughter coming seeming from everywhere. That will do for now. | |

| Terran, now thanks to the sudden bright light, was able to work the chains off her hands. She was struggling to get the slam cuffs off around her bulky hooved feet however. "Yeah I'll be fine." Terran said with a slightly pained smile. Her head was killing her and all she wanted was a glass of water, a salad and a nap. "But dang girl you sure do know how to dish out the responses." Terran grinned, giving her friend a thumbs up. This smile quickly faded at the sound of startling laughter. It wasn't the sound of a happy escapee. More like someone who couldn't wait to mess something up. | |

| Aiko nodded, "That's good," she smiled, though it didn't really look like a smile regarding her fox form. She turned to Kabiri, glaring at him before she morphed back to her human form. "Give me one reason I shouldn't kill you," she growled, her nails growing into what amounts to non-retractable claws. Then a laugh echoed through the room- a laugh that didn't sound like one of relief, but one of trouble. A meddlesome laugh that could send chills down one's spine. Aiko looked around, wondering where it came from before turning to the rest of the group. "Well? Aren't you guys gonna escape and choose fight or flight? I dunno... anything aside from staying when you can escape!" | |

| Kabiri was off like a flash of lightning. He was no longer safe, of that he was sure. In his wake came a literal flash of lightning originating from a newly-released Kader. It danced horizontally after Kabiri, but in that split second Kader was not able to throw enough energy into the attack for it to reach the fleeing serpent.
Gerrin, on the other hand, was no longer focusing on the glowing menace attacking his leader. The prisoners were escaping, and he was going to do something about it. He leapt into action, pouncing at the nearest prisoner, which happened to be Aiko. She had been threatening Kabiri, too, which was all the more reason to get her under control first.
Lessya, pinned down by an indetermanite creature that happened to be blinding her, did the first thing she could think of. She cast her sleep spell. Her range, unaltered by Gerrin's runes, was incredibly short, but it worked on those close enough to touch her. Or at least she thought it did. Instead of falling over unconcious, though, the creature yowled, only adding to the chaos. She brought a glowing paw down on Lessya's head, and with a flash of power adding to her strength, knocked the larger drake out. | |

| Aiko nodded at Kader, smiling when he summoned the lightning. "Awesome magic," she said before yelping in surprise as Gerrin pounced at her. Luckily, Aiko had a hunter's senses from being, well, a hunter. She growled at him, "So you wnt to fight, hm?"
Aiko pounced back at Gerrin in response, morphing her human mouth into a fox one as a way to attemp to surprise her opponent. This was a common kitsune battle tactic when it came to hand-to-hand fighting (or for Aiko, hunting, though it's not effective for small animals). | |

| Edur reared up, his chains snapping as they froze over with frost, becoming brittle and fragile, and not powerful enough to ever fight his incredible strength. He neighed loudly, a sound that embodied all the raw, icy power of a howling blizzard, the sound of an angry creature that embodied what was amongst the purest forms of ice magic in existence. He lowered his head, and snorted, this time, wisps of frozen vapor trailing along the breath, as he began to radiate with a cold, frigid energy, as snow literally seemed to form around where his hooves touched the ground. He slowly began to move forward, lowering his head, his eyes trimmed with white, and his lips peeled back to reveal his teeth. He was going to punish these kidnappers, and even if a unicorn was linked to purity, there was nothing dark about what he was going to do. He had been sufficiently provoked, and every creature had the right to defend itself.
Skye found the metal of her chains growing cold, and then the strange sensation stopped when Edur broke free. She wiggled, and found that the metal was suddenly very weak, having been made poor by the rapid change of temperature. She hurriedly moved to remove her hobble, and then shrug off the chains that had been pinning her wings. She opened them, and took off, flying into the sky where she could reach the clouds. She landed, and walked on them as though they were solid, her water magic making it possible. Preparing to change the turn of events in the favor of the prisoners, such as Edur, and the one who seemed to control lightning, she reared up, and struck her hooves into the clouds, forcing the rain from them.
It was a light rain, it wouldn't last long, but it was enough, as Skye took off and swooped back down to land. | |

| "Coward." Lilith spat under her breath as the serpent made a break for it. She didn't focus on it much, in her experience all snakes except the huge monstrous one avoided direct flights. The bolt of electricity following caught her attention. So it's him. Good. Of all the prisoners Kader was the most likely to have a bone to pick with her, once he discovered the state of his home that is. As far as she knew everyone else was an outsider, not that she was worried. She sent a faint telepathic whisper to raptor. "They destroyed your home. There's no one left." Without delay she turned her attention to the struggle between Aiko and the large feline. Cat versus dog, how amusing. lilith loved a good fight and so she centered her attention on the two. her viewing however was interrupted by something she did not like, rain. She irritably looked over as a droplet landed on her arm before it hissed into steam. She looked at the sky and didn't see any looming clouds. Must be that pegasus. Her assertion was confirmed by it's return to land. But why did it come back? Then she looked over at the cold emanating from the frost unicorn and knew exactly why.

| Farkas and Unessa watched the turn of events In a state of awe they didn't know which was a better idea fight or flight? For one thing they learned In their travels was always stick with the winning side and right now it was hard to tell. Unessa tapped Farkas on the sholder and said "Well I don't know about you but I want some pay back for runing my day not to mention Im haveing a massive headache right now and I can't think streight with all this noise." Then with a shake of her wrists and feet her chains fell off and she showed him the bobby pin. "took a bit longer than usual these things are fairly difficult even for me to get off but Im glad the escapees kept them distracted long enough." She began working on his cuff's and soon she had them off "Thanks I don't know what I would do with out you. "Thats an understatement now lets join the fight shall we" said Unessa "Sure hun" with that they turned to the nearist captor and attacked Farkas threw a firey punch and Unessa fought with him back to back.

| Desiderii, already somewhat disturbed, was not at all comforted by the sounds of combat. Her instincts told her to flee, but her curiosity was going to get the better of her. She raced through the forest toward the sound of the fight.
She broke through the bushes with her chains rattling, and stared in amazement at the scene before her. The three kidnappers- well, now there were only two, and one of them appeared to be down; Her enemy the giant snake was gone as well -seemed to be under the assault of every single person they had captured! Desiderii's eyes widened in awe. The violence!
Unsure what she should be doing, Desiderii froze and watched the battle with increasing amazement. | |

| Gerrin narrowly dodged Aiko's attack. Still determined to win the fight against all odds. He had a job that he had promised to do, and he meant to finish it. With a barely perceptible growl, he lashed out with one paw in an attempt to claw Aiko across her exposed face and neck.
The glowing creature, finished with Lessya, jumped off of the drake onto the ground. She bolted up to the side of Gerrin and coiled up. She intended to jump at him full force and knock him over, like she had done Lessya. Unfortunately, she hadn't gotten there quite fast enough, and Gerrin's strike was already out, whether it hit or missed, she couldn't stop it.
Kader hissed as the message came to him. If what this unknown person had said was true, and he didn't know if it was, something needed to die. Either way, as he looked around, he realized that the voice probably was not from anyone he could see, but considering the chaos going on, he could be wrong. He gathered electricity in an orb between his hands, but did not attack. He needed a clear shot, or the unpredictable magic would miss, and lightning always searched for a ground. | |

| Aiko yelped in surprise as Gerrin lashed out at her. She narrowly dodged the attack. In fact, it was so close some of her hair was cut off from Gerrin's claws. She growled again. Oh it was so on! She prepared to lash back, but then the glowing rescuer attacked Gerrin for her. She looked at Gerrin, who she was hoping was distracted by the glowing cat. She wasn't going to leave this battle so easily. She decided to take the opportunity to lash out at Gerrin with her fox-strengthened nails/claws/whatever-you-wanna-call-them. | |

| Terran watched as her fox like friend began to fight back, rather violently in Terran's opinion. She looked around, noting at she seemed to be safe from the current threat of the kidnappers. Terran began to half crawl half sneak towards the tents. Terran wanted to find her bag, and it had to be somewhere in this camp. She approached the first and closest tent to her, slowly pulling back the flaps of the tent. She instinctually braced herself, ready to face anything that might be within the tent. From the dead to the living and hostile.
