Triviis

Sylvanas scoffed as Zant disappeared. "Coward!" She shouted before dodging a shadow beast. She frowned and teleported to the branch of a tree. Forsaken Engie had awoken now and was attacking one beast. She took out an arrow and slowly aimed it, shooting it at the other one's hea before shooting an arrow at the shadow beast undead Engie was attacking.

Medusa watched them with amusement, as they did what they could to fight off the threateningly large shadow beasts. She was glad she had her broom with her, so that she could stay high up, out of reach of danger. As she watched them, she pleasantly smiled with satisfaction of her safety. Medusa thought that Sylvanas was doing everything wrong by trying to negotiate before attempting to kill Zant, when she knew that he was not only going to give in to backing down, but she knew that he was stronger than her. But suddenly the pleasant smile on her face was completely wiped away from a look of debate. Medusa was debating weather or not to go down there and help them fight the beasts off, which would give her a better trusted reputation, or if she should just simply watch for entertainment as she normally would. Medusa sighed, and decided to help Samus, Sylvanas and Tali fight.

Once Chopper had finished his story he watched Jinx quietly. The girl probably had some sort of mental disability, maybe some sort of personality disorder or perceptive problem. It was hard to pinpoint what but the girl was rather loud, and seemed to be distracted by almost everything. She also seemed rather violent, but not told dangerous. She had gotten her food and that seemed to make her content and she hadn't attacked the group yet. Jinx must get enjoyment from firing her weapons, no problem with that. He assumed taking them away would make her extremely dangerous and unpredictable.

Chopper looked up at Medic, excited to hear his story. He bet he doctor had lots of great tales of awesome super hero like actions.

Scout edged away from Jinx. Something seemed off about her. Granted, he knew several people who acted like her sometimes, including himself to some degree. But that was never their true personality. This person... She was just strange, and he didn't like it. It didn't help that he was sure she would shoot him the instant she got bored.

He glanced over at Medic, who had mentioned that he wanted to tell a story. Scout recognized the look on his teammate's face, and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know what story Medic was going to tell. He had a guess that it involved himself somehow, though he didn't know if that was good or bad. He shrugged and checked to make sure the Force-A-Nature was still easy to reach. It hadn't moved, of course, so he turned his attention to Medic. He would be keeping an eye on Jinx though.

Leo hesitantly nodded. "Yeah- coco puffs. They're chocolate." He then turned to Scout and whispered, "Their catch phrase is 'I'm koo-koo for coco puffs.'" He grinned at Medic, then. "I'm up to hear your story, Doc'. let's see if you can beat the water-draining man"

Chopper's jaw dropped. "Wait he was awake during an operation?!?" He didn't sound that disgusted, more amazed. He could barely believe that this weird man could watch himself get operated on without getting sick or mentally scarred for the rest of his life. Respect points just went up. This guy really was a super hero. Chopper leaned forward, wanting to hear more of the story. "Keep telling the story mister human medic! I wanna know what happens next!"

Leo swallowed. "An open chest cavity.... and being awake.... nice...." He grinned then looked at Scout, "Did it hurt?" He shook his head, "Never mind. Medic! Continue! This sounds like an insanely awesome story." That he was glad he was never involved in.

Scout groaned. "Aw c'mon Doc, really?" He laughed despite himself. This had happened a while ago, and obviously he was over it. Still, it brought back some bad memories. Memories of when he had been scared of, even hated Medic. And he had done some stupid things because of that.

"Alright fine," he said, still chuckling, "Yeah, I did that." He gave Medic a very obviously fake 'serious' look, "but tha next part is still your fault." He elbowed his teammate lightly, just to make sure Medic knew he was joking.

Chopper had begun chuckling softly when the Medic mentioned Scout poking his own lung. It was rather morbid but that was what was so funny to the little reindeer. He had covered his mouth with a hoof, trying to keep from bursting out laughing all together. He didn't want to come off as completely insane or insensitive enough to laugh at someone who had poked their own insides. Hopefully Scout for some sort of lollipop for such a procedure. He was finally able to stop his laughter enough to ask another question. "Where had he gone?" Laughter still evident in his voice.

Chopper allowed himself to laugh for a bit. It was a story so ridiculously funny that for a moment Chopper could not believe it. But the bird had confirmed it. It was such a silly, once in a lifetime sort of thing. He could almost picture it if the same thing was to happen to his captain. If Chopper was to accidentally stitch a bird into him he would probably want to keep it for a pet. Chopper couldn't wait to get home and tell his crew mates. He doubted they would believe him.

He took a break in his laughter to turn to Leo. "Do you think I could ask you a question?"

Leo just about died. Of laughter. "Dude, that's gruesomely awesomely hilarious!" He continued laughing for a bit. A bird... In a guy's chest. How was thy possible. He had teas rolling from his eyes with laughter. He finally caught his breath and calmed down before answering chopper.

"Yeah man. What's up?"

"Why are you able to catch yourself on fire? Just curious." There was a strange amount of seriousness in the reindeers voice. He had once met someone who had powers similar to Leo. Key word had. The man was killed and was a close friend, almost a brother, to his captain. And when someone with special powers died in his world their powers would move on to another. There was no way Leo had any connection to this, since the two of them came from very different places. It was more for a peace of mind if anything.

Leo frowned. The reindeer seemed really serious on the question, and he wondered why. No matter, Leo grinne again and answere the question. "My dad is Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire and mechanics. Normally his kids are just good with machines, an hardly ever is there one with fire. Abilities. I am different, though." He paused before continuing his explanation. "They used to think the children of Hephaestus tht could control fires were cursed, since they thought that one caused the Chicago fire or something." Leo put emphasis on "thought." He grinned, "I proved them wrong though."

Chopper relaxed a bit. He had no idea what Hephaestus was and decided asking questions wasn't really a good idea. He had met a god before, or at least someone who claimed to be a god. Until his captain beat the crap out of him and freed the people this god was ruling. Chopper was glad he didn't have kids, that guy was a real jerk. Chopper grinned, returning to his happy self. He had no idea what a Chicago was either, but Leo seemed pretty happy about it. "How did you prove them wrong? Aren't fires kinda...easy to blame on others?"

"Simple," Leo began, "I first caught Festus, the mechanical Dragon that went haywire when the guy in charge of the cabin previously died in a war with Kronos, trained him, and discovered I was one of the chosen seven for the prophecy of who will defeat Gaea- basically, the mother of giants and also an earth goddess." Leo deepened his voice to sound more mysterious as he recited the prophecy, "Seven halfe-books she answer the call. To storm or fire the world must fall. An oath to keep with a final breath and foes bear arms to the doors of death." He changed his voice back to normal, "Basically it says that I'm one of the chosen seven and either me or my buddy Jason who can control lightning will defeat Gaea."

All of these strange names of places, people and actions greatly confused Chopper. He tried to sound and look as interested as he really was, and he was. But his confusion seemed to win him over as he tried, with little success, to connect the dots in his head. He had no idea so many gods and weird places existed outside his own world. "That sounds..." Chopper was lost for words. "Complicated." He gave up searching for a better word.

Leo whistled, "Believe me, it is. There's these giants, each one made to fight a specific god or goddess. The most confusing thing is the difference in Roman and Greek gods. They are the same people, but with different forms and personalities. It's confusing. And then some are good and some evil." He looked at Chopper, "So what's your world like?"
