| This is the sheet for my Grey character. I'm posting it here now so that I can get it accepted quicker, since in my next post I'm going to kill off Flaeron. General Information Name/alias: Shakoth Og Zlann (normally known as Shax the Reaper) Race: Grey Gender: male Age: Greys don’t age, but he’s lived for around 30 years Appearance: Shax is a generally disturbing character. He is eight feet tall, a looming shadow of a man, slim and foreboding. He is generally humanoid with arms, legs, and a generally humanoid torso. His hands have six fully-functional fingers, two thumbs and four regular fingers. His fingers are long and have the same number of knuckles as human fingers, but have no fingernails. His arms are humanoid and thin, and fall a little below his hips. His torso is shaped slightly differently, with more ribs and a thin abdomen. His neck is slightly longer than the average human neck. Shax’s head is the shape that your classic Grey’s head would be. it is bulbous in shape, with a large encephalopod-like cranium. Shax has very large glistening black eyes and no nose (Greys have no sense of smell). His mouth is small and relatively humanoid except with a mouth filled with grinding molars and no canines or incisors. He is obviously herbivorous. Shax also does not appear to have any sort of ears, though he can hear. Shax’s entire body is covered in very smooth rubbery light grey skin, where the name “grey” comes from. Though Shax looks peaceful, he is badly scarred from battle. Though no harm came to his braincase, his arms, legs and torso are nicked with bullet scars and plasma burns. The skin is slightly moist and cool to the touch. Shax wears a white jump suit with a pair of black boots and a black belt. On his belt is clipped a small red orb. Personality: Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, though seen by most as Lawful Evil Affiliation: The Greys Bio/history: Shax was born on the planet classically categorized as Zalon-6, though the inhabitants call it A Magra meaning “The Mother”. Zalon-6 is smothered in a very thick foggy atmosphere that disrupted radio signals, causing it to be completely isolated from the rest of the universe. Zalon-6 was a peaceful planet with pacifiscal inhabitants who worshipped the planet as their sort of deity. They were a very naturalistic people who, despite their towering white spires and bullet train-like global transportation systems, always gave back to the environment. The nature on Zalon-6 is pristine and beautiful, almost perfectly preserved. The Greys believed all plant life sacred, and so only built their cities on clear fields and deserts. They got the materials to build their cities from the ground, which contained a great amount of silicon and diamond. The Greys figured out a way to harness their own electrical energies to produce power for their cities, allowing them to create a global wireless power network (more on the electrical energies of the Greys in the power section). They were completely at peace, with a very minimal crime rate and no wars. Everything changed when the Lumiens came. One day a Lumien ship descended from the fog and discovered the civilization below. They wanted to colonize Zalon-6 and harness its minerals, but the Grey high priests resisted, saying that the gems of the ground were a gift and that permission must be given by the Oracle to use it. So one of the high priests took the captain of the Lumiens to the Oracle. That high priest was Mazzon Og Zlann, Shax’s father. The oracle denied the Lumien’s requests, and so they decided to go with plan B. Mazzon and the oracle were both shot, and Lumien soldiers stormed the Temple of Light, the Grey’s primary house of worship. Three hundred Greys were slaughtered brutally despite the Consulate’s commands to peacefully request colonization. Shax barely escaped with his life, but his mother was not so lucky. She was shot dead by the Lumien captain himself. Shax ran home and cried himself to sleep, vowing that he would avenge his parents’ death. He was That night, an emotion long dormant in the grey people was born again: hatred. The electricity grid became a massive EMP wave that trapped the Lumiens on the planet and disabled their ship. Angry Greys stormed the Lumiens and fought back in a long and bloody battle. In the end, the Greys won due to their technology being EMP-hardened and the Lumiens’ being vulnerable, though it was a hollow victory. The following months contained nothing but strife as the Greys attempted to form a military to defend themselves from the Lumiens. Due to their newfound burst of telepathic energy and the weapons left by the Lumiens, the Greys developed weaponry quickly, as well as space travel. A brutal twenty-year war waged on Zalon-6 between the Lumiens and the Greys. Shex fought on the front lines as the Lumiens were defeated again and again. The Greys’ use of the planet’s electric network and their natural ability to turn themselves invisible was a major tactical advantage, and the Greys eventually forced the Lumiens to surrender. The Grey high priests, however, had become corrupt in the fighting. They ordered the execution of all non-Lumiens and burned their bodies. The Lumiens, watching their own comrades die, felt that they had no choice but to obliterate Zalon-6 and everything on it. Before they could, however, a Grey spy found out about it and was able to evacuate many of the younger citizens of the planet. The Greys ran away through the stars as the Lumiens obliterated Zalon-6, taking with them the Grey’s Deity and the high priests. The Greys vowed to regroup and avenge their dead god. Shax, being one of the highest-honored surviving soldiers, was promoted to be one of the Grey’s leaders in the absence of the High Priests. The Grey fleets began to explore other empires, searching for refuge from the Lumiens who intended to kill them. Tactical Information (PM me this if you'd like) Skills: Shax is a better diplomat than he is a soldier. He is capable of talking and manipulating his way out of trouble (with help from his superior mind, of course). He is actually not a very good hand-to-hand fighter, but his abilities lend towards him not needing to be. Equipment: Shax wears no armor like a true Grey soldier but does carry a few tools. Firstly, he carries a manipulator, a small spherical device that can use his electrical field to turn itself into a multitool of sorts. It can unlock doors, weld metal, act as almost any tool, and can be used to track electromagnetic signatures of different frequencies (so he can track people by their frequency). Transportation: This is one of the Grey’s ships. The doors are touch-controlled so that only a Grey can open them, and the ships’ defenses are powered by the Grey’s electromagnetic field. The ships can send out EMP blasts to thwart enemies and if needed can channel the field to create controlled energy blasts. All technology on Grey ships are isomer locked so that they can only be used by Greys. No other beings in existence can use their technology but them (especially since the ships have no wiring). Power: Shax’s power lies in the Grey’s electromagnetic field. Basically, all Greys generate a large field on electromagnetic energy which they can use for a majority of things. Firstly, they can use these fields to bend light around themselves, making them invisible to all spectrums of light. Nothing in the universe can see a cloaked Grey. Secondly, the Greys can harness this energy to create energy blasts to defend themselves with (they look kind of like tiny lightning bolts). Now if Shax were to use his blast alone, it would not be very effective, as it would pack around the strength of a taser. But the beauty of the Greys is that they have the power to share their electromagnetic field. The more Greys you have in an area, the more powerful their attacks get. If you were to group, say, 100 Greys together, each one’s electric attacks would become 100 times stronger. They can use their energy fields to telepathically communicate with each other, to power electrical devices wirelessly, and to create EMP pulses to disable non-hardened technology. Greys can communicate emotions as well as thoughts, allowing an entire group to know if one member is wounded. This also gives Greys a good bit of pain tolerance since they can share the pain amongst their brothers. The more Grey are in an area, the less pain each individual Grey feels. Due to this field, Greys are very social creatures, meaning that Shax is almost never alone. Weaknesses/limitations/drawbacks: Shax’s weakness is also his greatest strength. You see, Greys are only strong when they can communicate with other Greys. So if you were to isolate Shax in a device that blocks his electromagnetic field (like a Faraday cage), he would be completely cut off from the rest of the Greys and would become very weak. Greys that are separated from the rest of the group often become suicidal quickly and kill themselves with their own electricity, though Shax has been hardened towards this. Also, the Greys have a weakness in their ability to spread pain. If you were to cause one Grey in a small group an immense amount of pain, it would spread the pain to the others, causing them all to become weakened. Death of a member does not kill all of the Greys, however; they instead get cold and feel this sort of darkness and depression wash over them. Doing something like burning alive or badly electrocuting a Grey would quite possibly paralyze the rest of it’s group (so long as the group isn’t too freakishly large. If you did this to 1,000 Greys, they’d all feel a little sunburnt and then fry you like a wanton). | |

| Yo Glict do you want to do something with the Greys and Hatred? I think it would be cool if they somehow got sucked into the Destroyed Realm.
EDIT: Okay, so I'm setting up three possible options for Shax and the Greys. They can either (1) get sucked into the Destroyed Realm by Hatred, (2) get noticed by Neutral Station Delta, or (3) get noticed by Kydi and Thray. The first one would probably be a more violent subplot as the Greys would not appreciate getting used as entertainment by Hatred, while the second option would give a major tactical advantage to Garthedus, Lumea, and other Garthedan allies: isomer-locked controls and wireless energy (that is, if the Garthedans are nice to the Greys and can somehow get the Lumiens to apologize for blowing up Zalon-6). The third option could give a large advantage to Sar's empire (whose name I cannot find anywhere). I'd be fine with any of the three, though if said-big-bad-evil-superenemy came back anytime soon, the Greys would give the Garthedans a big technological and tactical advantage as they make good spies with their invisibility fields and can provide Garthedus with a wireless energy field. This could cause strife with Lumea though.

Don't try and threaten me because that doesn't work.

| Not teleporting and time travel like you are thinking using quantum physics. They would violate causality, which quantum physics heavily supports. Something like the transporter from Star Trek might work though. | |

| Technically, while quantum physics supports causality, it also supports the occurrence of random or unpredictable events, which is why one of the most repeated phrases about quantum physics is; "if you understand it, you're missing something." Just look at quantum entanglement, the slit experiment, or anything that validates observer dependence.
Now, while that doesn't have much to do with Liam's childish behavior -and I say much because who knows what his presence does to the quantum foam around him- it does support a few methods of time travel and arrival point construct free teleportation. However, unless you have impossibly good luck and can play roulette every hour of every day for the rest of your life without any losses, I really wouldn't trust even a forced entanglement to turn the air particles on the other side of the US, at a very specific location to transform into you, exactly, and not a dead neon pink toad or a cigar smoking sentient beaver.
However, unless you happened to have a planet sized quantum computer to calculate the exact atomic and sub atomic specifics of your body, and some fancy smansy nano builder bots to mail with said weapon, I wouldn't hold out to much hope of your teleportation actually working.

| Drevni Culture: The Drevni ideals are those of isolationism and efficiency. They are somewhat group oriented, as each member of their species has a telepathic link with the others, regardless of distance. Due to this, they seem to outsiders to be very knowledgeable (which they kind of are) and wise since they have extensive experience and knowledge shared between them. They highly value the pursuit of knowledge, which has resulted in technology not seen in other civilizations. They also breed rather quickly and live to an old age, which gives them large numbers.
Economy: They do not use currency, except for dealings with outside empires. Citizens are supplied with what they need if they work, and they are given more if they perform in a higher up job (get more as an engineer than as a toilet cleaner). They have a very large industrial base, with many large factories that produce immense amounts of whatever is needed. They have been known to hollow out planets and fill them with factories and build massive orbital shipyards for their navy.
Military: Drevni military policy is that of deterrence. Their ships are large and heavily armed and even the smallest outpost is well guarded. A great amount of time and resources are spent towards creating a vast navy to accomplish their goals and to harvest resources. They utilize powerful shielding as well as directed energy weaponry, special railguns, and missiles. Their ships are smooth and curved, with a brushed grey color. They use the reality drive for FTL travel, enabling rapid transit.
Relations: The Drevni are rather isolationist, dealing with other civilizations only when necessary. Those who do not attack them are fine, but no outsiders are normally permitted inside their territory. Those who demonstrate aggression are usually dealt with on sight and perpetually viewed with distrust. Homeworld: Their home world is Dresanderron (dress-Ahn-deh-Rhone). The surface is carefully maintained to be beautiful, with forests and plains and the like. The interior has been completely mined out to make way for living quarters and factories. On the surface of the planet are many anti-ship turrets and missile systems as well as massive underground generators for the planetary shield which is constantly active.

| Name: Axon Race: Drevni Gender: male Age: 70 Appearance: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/320/8/1/luminoth_by_3ihard-d4gdz46.jpg this is what he looks like without his armor. Personality: Axon is very business and down to earth. He believes the Drevni are the good guys and will not hesitate to carry out his orders since they mean he is advancing his civilization, which he is very loyal to. He prefers to fight honorably, but if an enemy is dishonorable, then the honor goes out the window since the enemy doesn’t deserve it. Alignment: Neutral Affiliation: Drevni Empire Bio/history: Due to living among some less than desirable civilizations, the Drevni created a new section in their special warfare military operations. The idea was to create super soldiers that would be able to perform espionage, take down enemies, and basically do all the shady work that normal soldiers weren’t fit to do. That is where Axon comes in. | |

| The Drevni remind me of 19th Century Japan.
Is Axon going to be particularly aggressive towards any of my characters if they more-or-less stay out of his way? Because I am really getting tired of fighting battles I can't win.
