Alright I will take a look when you put them up.

Nearly all ship shields in this RP can actually withstand much more than 4 ATACK missles, but accepted. Also that teleportation on the ship won't activate instantly or have as much range as a FTL drive.

For future reference can people stop gauging how effective things are versus or in comparison to other ships and empires, considering you have no way of knowing if it's accurate.

The Lumien Consulate

Culture: The Lumien people are much like the modern day American people. They are obsessed with technology, obsessed with new things and obviously abusive of their freedoms. While the police cracks down hard on crime, oftentimes things like the Enigma drug trade is ignored as it generates tax dollars. The Consulate is primarily made up of Lumiens, humanoid creatures that resemble humans with the exception of multicolored coats of fur which adorn their bodies. Their fur comes in a variety of colors. A few other minorities live amongst the Lumiens, and they are often prejudiced against. Like Americans, Lumiens often dress rather immodestly, and female Lumiens often have medical procedures done to them to get rid of their body hair at a young age, causing them to more-or-less look like humans. Those who do that are often looked down at by higher-class Lumiens, as they had “lost their pride in their heritage”. Many believe that the Lumiens are currently going through an identity crisis, as many other peoples make fun at them for their hair and culture. A rising number of Lumiens are becoming atheist or agnostic, though the primary religion is known as The White Path, a monotheistic religion strongly resembling Zoroastrianism. The Lumien government is a consulate with two separate departments. The Left Consul, as he is called, is the military leader of the country as well as the foreign affairs leader, while the Right Consul is the Religious leader (like the Pope) and the domestic politics leader. Each department (both left and right), have a tripartisan senate that ratifies all laws. There is no separation of Church and State, though the people are calling for it. Doing such, though, would rend the consulate in two and destroy the empire.

Economy: The Lumiens are currently going through a huge economic boom, comparable to the Roaring Twenties. Their currency, the Darone, is very highly valued, causing the upper class to increase greatly. Many Lumien companies are doing extremely well at this time, so their stock market is booming. There are three main classes in Lumien society like in any other society; the working class, the middle class, and the upper class. The working class work in the factories and on the spaceships as engineers. They are so heavily stratified from the middle and upper classes, though, that they have almost no chance of rising in the societal ranks without joining the military, which many of them do. The middle class are artisans; skilled workers in a massive variety of fields who often get to go through college. School is taken very seriously by the middle and upper classes. Children start going through school at age five, and they continue to go to school until they are 21. After that, students can choose to go to college, a military academy, or a trade school. It is illegal for Lumiens coming from a middle-to-upper class economic bracket to not go to some sort of college or trade school, with the military being their only way out. The Upper class accounts for about 5% of the Lumien people (as their homeworld Desbin is incredibly rich). They are the doctors, economists, politicians, and clergymen mostly. They live in fancy mansions or penthouses often, and are required by law to give ten percent of their yearly earnings to the less-fortunate. This causes the lower class to be rather small, with only 25% of the population being below the middle class economic line. Agriculturally, the Lumiens are also flourishing. Lumien agriculture comes from special farm planets: enormous celestial bodies (often moons around highly populous planets despite the name) that grow one specific type of food, whether that be grain or livestock. The planets are terraformed to produce a perfect environment all around for the crop being grown. A famous example of this is Tertius, one of the eight moons of the Lumien homeworld of Desbin, which is completely flat with no hills or mountains. Its entire surface is covered in thousands of different kinds of grains according to each region’s climate (even the poles grow grains thanks to special gasses released by satellites).

Military: While the Lumien navy is moderately strong, the Lumien people are best-known for their ground forces, which may be the most powerful standing army in the world. The Lumien Army is gigantic, with over six billion soldiers spread out across their empire. The navy really acts as just a taxi service for the soldiers. Lumien soldiers are outfitted in tactical armor with the ability to adjust to any environment. Their armor has extremely strong shielding, which is often boosted by special satellites that orbit planets that they’re attacking. Lumien weaponry is primarily laser-based, though they’ve also been known to use a variety of vacuum weapons, guns that use artificially-generated vacuums to launch projectiles at extremely fast speeds.

Relations: The Lumiens get along with the Garthedus and Volidani, but cannot stand the Chuzorak or Shektor peoples. They are neutral towards the Harbingers and Arkhan. The Lumiens are technically at war with the Enigma, but it’s going so slowly that both empires decided to call a ceaasefire so that they can work out a treaty. The Lumien people call the war the Great Derp War, as after fervorous recruiting attempts by both sides, barely anything happened.

Homeworld: The Lumien homeworld is Desbin: an enormous futuristic planet that is entirely covered in urban development. The entire planet is one gigantic city organized into a series of districts. Desbin is a relatively small planet (the size of Mars), but has eight substantially-sized moons as well as three rings made of chunks of ice and rock. Five of these moons are farm planets (raising grain, livestock, root plants, nuts, and citrus fruits), one is a national nature preserve, one is a huge military base (more or less), and one is an artificial moon made to repair spacecraft. Many of the rocks in Desbin’s rings have mining rigs on them and contain precious metals. Because of the rings, meteor showers are common on Desbin, and excessively tall buildings have special energy shields to defend them from falling rocks. Desbin and all of its moons are surrounded by massive photon cannons, each of which is powerful enough to blow a hole clean through the hull of most ships. Desbin has over 13 billion people on it despite its small size, and thus is heavily-defended by a massive military (2 billion of the 13 billion are soldiers).

I wasn't going to make a second empire, but I did anyways. I'll be making a Lumien character soon.

General Information

Name/alias: Crystalis
Race: UNKNOWN
Gender: Masculine
Age: UNKNOWN

Appearance: Crystalis stands seven feet tall and is wearing a dark grey, sinewy, nanofiber armored suit. The material is very form fitting, showing that wearer is in top physical condition. It is present everywhere except the bottoms of the feet, the palms, and a visor. Sticking out of the weave are fragments of a neon blue crystalline substance. It is interspersed throughout the entire suit, but the largest concentrations are the forearms and knuckles. On the back of Crystalis is a backpack unit made of a hard composite the same grey color as the rest of the armor. At it's center is a circular window, through which a glowing blue orb can be see. On the sides of the pack are slits running it's length, and the bottom dual oval shaped vents.

Personality: The main personality feature of Crystalis is his lack of one. He accepts orders without question and barely even speaks. Questions asked from anyone other than superiors rare get a response. When he does communicate it is very direct and to the point. Nothing can get a rise out of him emotionally and he is surprised at very little. Not even the face of death will stray him from completing a mission to the best of his ability.

Alignment: Lawful neutral
Affiliation: Garthedus

Tactical Information

Skills: The Crysalis is a master of nearly everything on the battlefield. Hand to hand combat, marksmanship, demolitions, stealth, piloting and hacking. Not only is he the best of the best, but his suit further augments his prowess in these areas.

Equipment: The Crysalis suit grants the user immense power. It enhances all physical capabilities, grants massive shock absorption, while being immensely hard to penetrate. To the point where the user can survive the vacuum and atmospheric entry. It comes equipped with a powerful force field, and a jet pack. The hands and feet house strong electromagnets. The users can cycle through infrared, gama, and telescopic vision. Lastly there is an onboard computer and self repair system.

Transportation: A sleek, neon blue, crystalline ship named the 3096-1840 Vitreus. It is 100 feet long and just looks like a symmetrical crystal fragment. It's nearly impossible for anyone other than Crysalis to find and open the hatch or drive the ship. While the ship has a shield, the hardness of the crystal alone and it's immunity to to most energy weapons is impressive. A beam of energy can be fired from almost any part of the ship, or slivers of the ship can also be used as projectiles. Virtually no emissions of any sort are released by the ship, and it uses a compression drive for faster than light travel.

Power: The Crysalis can spawn and manipulate crystals. This entails covering himself in crystal, encasing enemies, crystallizing materials, shooting crystals, granting them different properties and so on. The most commonly used crystals are extremely hard, robust in nature, and are capable of absorbing and refracting light, energy, and mental forces. This coupled with the suits reactor grants him near immunity to and the ability him to fire lasers and beams of energy. In addition they will shred/bypass most shields.

Weaknesses/limitations/drawbacks: The crystal matrix while superior to anything natural is not flawless, if struck at the right angle with enough force they can and will shatter. Creating and growing crystals is fast, but not instantaneous. His power has limited range and magnitude. The suits reactor only generates so much energy that has to be divided between shields, offence, and propulsion.

General Information

Name/alias: Atlas
Race: Machine
Gender: Masculine
Age: 28

Appearance: Atlas stands nine feet tall and is humanoid in form. It is silver in color with glowing red lights. Streamlined armor plates cover it's limbs and body making quite bulky yet sleek. The right forearm is large cannon with a bayonet mounted underneath, a cord stretches from it to large canister mounted on it's back. A large six fingered hand is on the other side. Built into the torso is a head with a single shining lense. Rib like chest plates that are parted at the center suggest that the body can open up. Each foot has three massive toes, two front, one back. They have grips on the end and can come together like raptor talons.

Reference picture:

Personality: Cold hard logic is the only thing that governs Atlas. Where organics see friends, it sees resources. It calculates the odds and runs with what has the best probability of success. No amount of talking will convince it otherwise. Many of it's assignments bring it to other worlds where speach is necessary, so the machine is fully capable of holding a conversation. Granted it's lack of emotion makes it difficult to relate. Atlas goes about it's business unless threatened, in which case it opens fire remorselessly.

Alignment: True neutral
Affiliation: Arkhan

Bio/history: Atlas was created just the way it is now. Over the years it has battled and been repaired, but very much remained the same. Eventually it was switched designations and tasked with gathering resources from the other empires in exchange for services. As of now it is a well know bounty hunter.

Tactical Information

Skills: Same as a soldier of any other race. Hand to hand combat, marksmanship, demolitions, and hacking. The latter it is especially good at due to being able to integrate with and override most hardware.

Equipment: Atlas has a multitude of built in features. It can see in infrared and gamma, as well as being able to zoom in. The onboard shield it carries is powered remotely and equivalent to that of a spacecraft. In addition it has portal device that can create and maintain multiple portals at once. A generator that creates a localized space time distortion allows Atlas to seemingly act at impossible speed. Projectiles from it's arm mass accelerator and the bayonet are of a similar nature. They fire at FTl speeds, create rifts in their wake, cut through just about anything. The chassis is EMP hardened and sealed to psionics. Lastly Atlas features a self repair system.

Transportation: Atlas uses it's portals to go anywhere it needs to.

Powers: Mechanical strength and machine immunities (should be self explanatory). It is also able to track teleportation, FTl jumps, and so on.

Weaknesses/limitations/drawbacks: Only the internal components are EMP hardened. It's gun, bayonet and vision can all be disabled once it's shields are down. Atlas doesn't not have the energy needed to power it's own shield without assistance. Certain powers and technology can cut it off from it's generator. Physically damaging it enough will breach it's protective layer allowing permanent damage to be done via EMP or psionics to the point of outright destroying the machine.

Mark:
General Information:

Name/alias: Mark/The Cheshire
Race: Undisclosed ( http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/102/0/f/image_by_thephantomdoodle-d61i7xs.jpg )-I sucked at art last year-
Gender: Male
Age: Indeterminate
Appearance: http://thephantomdoodle.deviantart.com/art/Mark-416714111 He stands about 6’ 2” tall and wears a sleeveless green hoodie and brown cargo pants that generally have at least one knife or gun or both stuffed inside the pockets along with other odds and ends like a box of neodymium magnets, a lockpick set or wire cutters.
Personality: I’ll do this IC as it ties into literally every aspect of his tactical information. Just expect a heavy amount of clinical insanity. Although, seeing as that is more or less my modus operandi, you probably already did.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Affiliation: Enigma, Co-Vert (See Zalphar’s sheet)
Bio/history: Undisclosed (:

Zalphar:

Name/alias: Zalphar
Race: Acirian
Gender: asexual
Age: Indeterminate
Appearance: http://thephantomdoodle.deviantart.com/art/Zalphar-s-standard-style-of-attack-369273819 (Or look at my profile pic and imagine it 4 feet tall and lime green with neon yellow eyes)
Personality: Mostly want to do this in the IC (for some reason, I’m having no inspiration for summarizing personalities today, probably has something to do with everyone’s obnoxious ‘holiday spirit’) but try to imagine the Joker crossed with Moriarty then make it inherently lazy and you get the general gist of Zalphar’s personality.
Alignment: Chaos, destruction and mass panic. Founder of Co-Vert (thus the dorky name)
Bio/history: You really don’t want to know.

Tactical information:

Skills: Zalphar is physically about as threatening as a 30 year old computer nerd who lives off of fruitloops and slash fanfiction and lives in their mothers basement. The worst it can do is bite your hand off if it manages to get ahold of it as its got a row of shark teeth and the jaw force of a small crocodile. However, that’s not what I’d worry about as it’s the type that would rather let someone else (either Artifex, Mark or some goon) deal with disposing of you if you manage to not get blown sky high by a booby trapped Christmas present or poisoned with rosary peas in your enchilada. Aside from being a tactical genius who organizes most of the crimes you’ve ever heard about (or not in most cases) most of Zalphar’s physical abilities lie in the defensive. It can regenerate any part of its body faster than an axolotl but slower than Wolverine using blastemic regeneration based in a Hemocyanin blood type. (If you want more details I’ve got about 3 pages on it if you’ll bother reading through it.) and has legs build like a kangaroos so it can jump fairly high.
Equipment: Hmm… on its person, usually nothing. A gun maybe, if it’s overseeing one of its heists but aside from that it relies on Mark, Artifex or a group of goons armed with long range weaponry to defend it.
Transportation: It doesn’t really go anywhere. It sits in front of its computer in its fancy super expensive mansion of a space ship (with warp drive capabilities of course) and presses the F5 button all day. And when it does leave its home base, it makes a point of using only public transportation so it comes across as more pedestrian and thus less suspicious to regular people.
Power: It doesn’t have a ‘power’ per se, rather control over virtually the entire crime world in one form or another. It’s kind of like your go-to man for anything criminal you want done. It’ll put you in contact with whoever is the best at what you want, plan your billionaire aunts murder, forge a new copy of her will giving you all her assets and just generally be the brains behind the planning of anything illegal. Supplying weapons to a 3rd world country, planning political scandals, assassinating ambassadors, staging suicides, forging valuable pieces of art, planning thefts, smuggling drugs, anything and everything that could potentially cause the multiverse to go to hell in a hand basket a little faster.
Weaknesses/limitations/drawbacks: Physically, Zalphar can be killed by pretty much any poison of toxin that will kill other life forms, just in a larger dosage, except anticoagulants or coagulants as its blood doesn’t even possess that quality at all. However, something that would stop its regeneration is a kamikaze protein overdose which would only require you to take a sample of its blood and synthesize a few proteins that are released from the newly regenerated cells. That works because the kamikaze proteins are its body’s way of preventing it from growing two arms instead of one. When a cell dies it releases an activation protein that tells the blastema in its blood to form into whatever cell the dead one used to be, and once that cell is generated it released a second protein to tell the remaining cells to not produce any more blastema to prevent tissue overgrowth. So, you inject Zalphar with a syringe full of kamikaze proteins and it’s just as regenerative as a human being.
Personality wise, Zalphar has a tendency to be a massive show-off and can be fooled into underestimating you if you’re really good at acting and playing the fool.

Hehehehehe. This is gonna be great.

General Information

Name/alias: Agent Myre
Race: Lumien
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Appearance: Myre more or less looks like this. He’s around 5’8”, and is something like 180 pounds in Earth gravity. Myre’s eyes are hazel in color, and his skin is dark like an Italian’s. With the exception of his hands, feet, and face, Myre is covered in a layer of blue fur like a Chimpanzee’s (except with, you know, blue fur instead of black). Myre’s suit is black, as is his hat. (Note that Myre's face in this is a little unflattering. He looks a lot more attractive than this in real life).

Personality: Myre Is your classic spy; he’s charming, daring, intrepid, witty, and can come up with a wisecrack in seconds. Myre often makes jokes and pokes fun at things while on the job, but he’s no clown. Myre is a professional; he’s cunning, observant, and deadly, even if he is a bit too gregarious at times. He is a man who gets the job done no matter what the cost, and he always gets results. He has a rather short fuse, however, and can easily be angered into doing some stupid stuff. Myre is a relatively smart man, but is most well-known for his attention to detail, reading of body language, and common sense. He is very good at assuming what you’re about to say or what a villain is about to do, and he never misses when something’s off. He’s been in espionage and the police force for seven years, and was in the military for four years before that, where he served as a black ops member of The Force (the Lumien Navy SEALs). Because of his military stint; Myre doesn’t have a problem killing people and is mentally tough. He has seen his comrades dragged to their knees and shot through the head in front of him and not flinched. Because of this, Myre can be particularly violent when he is cornered or when his friends’ lives are at stake. This secret dark side of him makes Myre particularly dangerous when put in a trap. Of course, Myre has his unprofessional side as well. He is notoriously flirtatious with women, kind of like Jack Hearkness from Dr.Who. He is constantly hitting on pretty girls when not on the job, and is kind of a womanizer.

Alignment: neutral good

Affiliation: Garthedus

Bio/history: I could bore you to death with Myre’s four-page backstory about his military career and police force career, but I’m not going to make you suffer through that.

Tactical Information:

Skills: Myre has extensive combat training, having been in the special forces, and is very accurate with most weaponry. He has a knack for quickly discovering the functions of weapons, and can more-or-less figure out how to control anything thanks to his intellect.

Equipment: Myre’s suit is bulletproof up to sniper-class rail gun bullets, can absorb radiation, and has special sensors in it that can heat him up, cool him down, or supply him with oxygen to allow him to quickly adjust to different climates. With him, Myre carries an assortment of weapons, such as his gun, which is a bolt pistol (works like The Wolf of Sardonne’s bolt rifle). Bolt weaponry is legal for military or government personnel in the Lumien Empire. Secondly is Myre’s vacuum ray. This device that resembles a hair dryer with a pistol grip uses special vacuum technology to cause a massive vortex, allowing Myre to suck bullets out of midair or cool down plasma. He can then reverse the gun’s polarity and launch the projectiles he absorbed back at his attackers. Thirdly, Myre has his Helios boots. The Helios boots are rocket-powered boots that allow Myre to triple his jump height, allowing him to jump thirty feet in the air. Special shock absorbers in the shoe’s soles prevent his legs from breaking when he hits the ground. Myre wears a pair of contacts which adapt to the light around him to keep him from being blinded, provide him night vision, and allow him to see any messages he was sent. The contacts have a 20x optical zoom and can take video recordings Finally, Myre has his watch, which on command can create an energy shield dome around him, protecting him from damage.

Transportation: Myre’s ship is the LM Phantom Baron, a special stealth fighter specially designed for his use. It looks like this, and has the ability to cloak itself from pretty much every kind of electromagnetic spectrum detection. The ship sports a heavy bolt cannon (pimped-out version of a bolt rifle), and is tremendously fast when not at warp speed (as warp speed is only one speed). The Phantom Baron can more or less outrun any ship out there.

Power: Well Lumiens naturally are about four times stronger than humans, meaning that if a human with Myre’s exact build could deadlift 250 lbs, he can lift 1,000. This is due to a variety of factors like a higher muscle density and stronger bones, but I won’t bore you with the science. Lumien bones are three times stronger than a human’s as well, meaning that Myre is very hard to break. Myre also has a special gland in his body, located near his kidneys, that can control the salt content of his body, much like how the pancreas can control the insulin content of the body. The gland can flush Myre’s blood with salt when he’s very cold or very hot, keeping him from freezing or boiling. Myre’s digestive tract is also a lot stronger than any mere human’s, allowing him to down mildly toxic chemicals and survive. He’s not gonna be chugging bleach anytime soon, but he can ingest most tranquilizers and basic poisons without getting sick or dying. Of course that also makes him pretty much immune to alcohol, so it’s a blessing and a curse. Finally, Myre’s skin has special proteins in it that allow it to be extra elastic. This lets his skin stretch enough that he can turn around 180 degrees and attack someone who’s grabbed him from behind.

Weaknesses/limitations/drawbacks: Well none of Myre’s powers (minus the suit) exactly make him invincible. While you might not be able to crush him, Myre is still not exactly bulletproof. If you shoot him, he’ll die like any other person. Myre’s also flawed in the fact that his sense of justice is so strong that he doesn’t know when to run. For someone so fragile in a universe filled with rapid fire turrets blasting antimatter pulses, he really doesn’t seem to know when it’s time to run away. Myre’s digestion powers also don’t help with poisons that enter intravenously through a dart or injection (though the salt helps his body to fight infection so bacteria don’t work very well).

Jeez. In comparison to some of the other characters around here, my characters are surprisingly weak. If I make a fifth character, I'm going to make them a lot stronger than my others.

General Information

Name/alias: Tresi
Race: Argent
Gender: Female
Age: 143

Appearance: Tresi is humanoid and stands 5'6". Her skin is a pale blue with natural tattoo like markings violet in color. This color is shared with her eyes and lips, which are both unnaturally large by human standards. Straight, dark, purple brown hair flows all the way to her thighs. Long, pointed, thin ears poke out from underneath and stick straight out from her head. These are pierced by five, small, silver hoop earrings on each side. A stone resembling an amethyst surrounded in silver dominates her forehead. As high priestess Tresi trades out the typical white robes for a leathery midnight dress with silver fastens at the shoulders. Black, thick soled sandals of similar material are every present on her feet.

Personality: Black may just be the color of Tresi's priestess sisterhood, but in this case it fits her quite well. The general impression is that the Volinadi are kind and peace loving empire, but that doesn't hold true for every member. Both Tresi's title and her ability grant her power, and power corrupts. She feels that she has duty to further her kind at any cost. She has caused countless deaths of other empires population, even in peacetime. Having lived long enough to see scuttles between the Volinadi and most other civilizations, she just sees it as sabotaging potential enemies. On the outside she fills the role of kind, wise, religious leader. The inside a psychopathic, extremist, patriot.

Alignment: Lawful evil
Affiliation: Volinadi

Bio/history: Tresi does the dirty work, so the rest of the population can live in ignorant bliss. She takes the convicted that can't be converted in regular citizens. It's her job to take out enemies of the government discretely. When it comes to espionage she's first on the call list. Her high status made her a discrete choice as normally a priestess would never be chosen for this sort of job. In addition she has the authority to carry out operations without being advised. Good for the Volinadi, not so much for the other empires. Since her employment the number of mysterious dead of the other empires have risen ever so slightly. To this day she hasn't even been suspected, let alone caught. To her superiors she is the perfect agent.

The Game: Beyond the End OOC - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Game: Beyond the End OOC   The Game: Beyond the End OOC - Page 3 EmptySat Nov 30, 2013 8:03 am

General Information

Name/alias: Diva
Race: UNKNOWN
Gender: Feminine
Age: UNKNOWN

Appearance: The form Diva most commonly chooses is one that that her creators gave her, which is akin to an attractive female android. If it weren't for gaps that expose machinery at the joints there would be little way to tell the difference. She chooses to keep her project number prominently displayed on her left shoulder blade. Her long white hair is kept on the right side of her body as not to cover it. She keeps her bangs clear of her luminescent blue eyes. Diva's main attire is a simple, yet elegant, white, backless dress.

Personality: Diva was brought into existence with high intelligence and little experience, which makes her innately curious. However in her existence she has discovered more than most sentient beings learn in their whole life. New things fascinate her, but unlike a child, Deva is cautious. Her interests only lasts until she has gathered all possible information about the object.. One thing she has never been able to quantify is her own existence. While she is often kind and gentle, she is foremost self interested. She completely understands emotions, but does not experience them like a normal person. This often makes her seem detached from normal people.

Alignment: Neutral good
Affiliation: None

Bio/history: UNKNOWN

General Information

Name/alias: Wedge
Race: Mechanical ROUS
Gender: Masculine
Age: Varies

Appearance: Wedge appears as four foot tall beaver that has really loose skin. His head, eyes, teeth and tail are cartoonishly large. His forearms are thick and stumpy, his hands look like part of the arm. Each only features two triangular digits that are entirely claw. The legs are large, squat, and digitigrade like a normal beaver. Underneath is what can be best described as a beaver shaped terminator like robot.

Personality: Wedge is completely illogical and perpetually hyper. His definition of reality is constantly shifting, so its impossible to lay out a permanent personality. However, there is almost no question that he will be acting silly. He means no harm, but nonetheless often disrupts and gets in the way of things. Wedge is almost always interested in some sort of random item. This object subject to change, but is always labeled as a muffler. If he gets the item before it changes it is added to his collection and always considered a muffler from there on out, but if he doesn't he'll just forget about it and go after the next muffler. Occasionally his original personality will manifest, which is hell bent on destroying existence and everything in it.

Alignment: Chaotic Good/Chaotic Evil
Affiliation: None

Bio/history: Wedge is from a realm known as the chaos, where spacetime is constantly being distorted. He is the only being known to have come from there or be able to survive there. Over the history of each empire he has been a sporadic nuisance that steals random items or important tech. His existence is not common knowledge.

Tactical Information (Wedge is not a standard character, he's involved in the plot and a source comic relief to be used sparingly)

Skills: Varies. One moment he could the master of everything, the next be able to do nothing.

Equipment: Whatever he pleases, most often a comedic item or a hyper advanced device.

Transportation: He can be anywhere and everywhere at any given moment.

Power: Wedge has a core that gives him unstable reality manipulation. He is not tied to universal laws and seems to be able to just about anything, especially if it doesn't make sense. The robot has replicated himself a vast number of times and one of these copies will often replace him when defeated. A wirelessly transmitted virus, called the smiley virus is capable of taking complete control of any hardware. It is nearly impossible to combat and places a smiley face on all hacked display devices. Lastly Wedge has countless mechanical features that he can make use of. This includes rarely reverting to his original form and gaining mastery over his abilities.

Weaknesses/limitations/drawbacks: Wedges reality is constantly changing. Sometimes he is comically easy to defeat, for example flicking him and having him fly away into the distance. Other times he seems to be completely unstoppable. A good gauge for how effective Wedge is currently is how ridiculous he is being. The more absurd the more powerful. For example a dangerous looking, high tech weapon is likely to do nothing, misfire or even explode in Wedges face; whereas if you catch him wielding a rubber chicken you should be scared.

On hindsight I'm starting to see Saro as a hybrid between a Predator and an Elite.

And I'm also seeing that people might mispronounce his name. (Say)-(Row) would be the correct pronunciation, rather than some varient of Sorrow.

The Game: Beyond the End OOC - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Game: Beyond the End OOC   The Game: Beyond the End OOC - Page 3 EmptySat Nov 30, 2013 7:50 pm

Prepare yourself for utter sub-par-ness.

The Zaretian Monarchy

Culture: The Zaretians are large reptilian humanoids that stand (On average) at seven or so feet tall. They have similar features to humans (Two eyes, arms, legs, etc) with a few inhuman features like a tail and buldging head-scales. They have dark-green skin with large black scales here and there. The Zaretians run off of Social Darwinism that you'd often see in media and etc. The rich and powerful are greeted to a life of elegance and high-class - While everyone else are greeted to a life of working, or being soldiers. Essentially being constantly segregated. The outerworlds contain the poor, while the inner-worlds contain the wealthy. As the title may imply, the Zaretians are a monarchy, and have a king. This king has absolute power over the Monarchy. With his actions being unopposed - However, his many generals influence and discuss his actions. The massed population are essentially brain-washed into believing that this king is more or less a god. They will serve him to the very end, and believe that everything he does is for the good of the Monarchy. The king gets to choose who gets what, and his favorites get the best his Monarchy has to offer. The Zaretian Monarchy is a military empire at best. Their culture has plenty of military influence. For example, soldiers get advantages that the regular citizen can't even hope to obtain. It's all determined by rank. The many that the king has elected Generals are treated quite well - Second only to the king. Another major part of the monarchy is that the Zaretians are quite fond of slavery. As more species are conquered, soldiers are killed, while civilians are enslaved. To be distributed across the Monarchy. Slaves can be purchased by anyone with the money. Slavery is so wide-spread in the monarchy that it's commonplace for things like this to occur. This practice has gone on since the Monarchy rose to the stars.

Economy: The Monarchy works similar to a communism. All property is owned by the Monarchy in the end. Other than that, the Monarchy's economy is quite good. Due to hard working citizens and slaves; resources are ready on a constant level. They mine just about everything they can get their hands on.

Military: Where the Monarchy shines. The Zaretian Monarchy is heavily a military oriented species. They constantly push out their war machines on their various War-Worlds and are always ready for a war. That said, their army is absolutely enormous. Their military employs massive vessels, that are armed to the teeth with plenty of weaponry. However, The Zaretian Monarchy's strongsuit is on-planet conflict. Deploying an overwhelming amount of war-machines and vicious soldiers. The Zaretians use a wide variety of weaponry in their conflicts. Cloaking, long ranged weapons, teleportation... And so on.

Relations: Not very good. The Zaretians oppress the weak, and fight the strong. However, they are open to alliances, should it initially seem beneficial.

Homeworld: Zartar. The planet where they started that I'll describe later.

Just so you know Maxx salt would make you boil easier, it lowers the needed temperature to boil and freeze water.

Thankyou.

Also I have come to the decision to edit my character sheet. (You never said accepted... So...)

Name/alias:  Glycius/The Enderman.

Race: Tiaither Tee A. i- ther.

Gender: Male.

Age: 256 human years, 25 in Tiaitherian years (lifespan = infinite).

Appearance: 8'9" The Game: Beyond the End OOC - Page 3 Realis11
And bright green, dully glowing, eyes, Terrifying if they are the only thing you can see in the dark.

Personality: Very intelligent but also on the quiet side, and he won't hesitate to kill someone who deserves it, unlike the famed “hero’s”. Also he is quite temperamental, say the wrong thing at he will be blisteringly angry at you, although he would not see anger as a reason to kill you, and can't be angered into being stupid.

Alignment: Neutral.

Affiliation: Currently not sided.

Bio/history: (you said optional, so don’t whine at me, because I am not good at bio’s. Better than nothing right?)

Glycius led a normal life on his planet, Scylon, this was not his home planet however, and soon became disputed territory between his race and the Grox (I know, Spore reference), the Tiaither’s did not wish to fight with the Grox, but the Grox were all too eager for an excuse for conflict. Hence the start of the War of Trachneon (the name of the star system). Glycius was drafted two years into the war, He personally killed more than 69 Grox, and, after his ascension to commander, blew up a fleet carrier, habitating more than 2000 Grox. The entire ordeal left him scarred for life, Even though the Grox were defeated, and driven back to their home planet. 14 of his 16 good friends had been killed in the war, which made him bitter, he soon decided that he would ensure the destruction of the Grox. (*holds breath*)

Skills: Glycius is extremely stealthy, especially at night or in the dark, surprisingly strong for his very slim build and skinny arms, he also is a very accurate shot, and due to his military expertise can operate a wide variety of guns and vehicles. Also with minimal gear (air supply and heat insulation) he can survive the vacuum of space for a short time. If you do manage to stab him, he wont bleed due to having no heart, Instead his veins and arteries have flagella that push blood through his system, and valves that can stop it. Teleportation can heal him slightly.

Equipment: 4 high power laser pistols, long range EMP pulse grenade (reusable, can pulse 2x every 13 seconds), high power energy shield (functions as EMP shield too), long range railgun rifle (equipped with laser crystal cored shredder rounds [the purple bits would be green]), a kind of steel orb (that Glycius can teleport to wherever he wants) that when activated, shoots out large barbed spikes, as well as having a carbine bladed saw that rotates around the perimeter, plasma dagger/sword(custom size/shape, changed via ipad12965gen6846)
(there is a kind of crystal that is currently nigh impossible to make, that takes in radio waves from all directions and outputs their energy in one direction hence self charging, and due to the abundance of radio waves, his equipment almost never needs external charge, all his equipment is EMP shielded).

Transportation: The challenge: http://digital-art-gallery.com/oid/64/1400x990_11678_Space_ship_2d_sci_fi_spaceships_picture_image_digital_art.jpg (wings fold out for space to air)
This ship is capable of teleportation at exceedingly long ranges, So it is just a little better that warp, because it will teleport 16 or so lightyears at a time, enabling it to 'telejump' across vast distances with a relatively short charge up time of 3 seconds per stop.
The weapons include: Directed EMP blast, Argon plasma cannons, 6 extremely powerful laser turrets, ATACK or Antimatter Total Annihilation Combat Kit, This releases a cloud of tiny missiles that will seek pre-determined targets, and due to their destructive capabilities (a cluster of 4, 1' missiles can cripple many a ship, even with standard shields. What could all of them do? They are antimatter) have evasion countermeasures.
The Challenge also has an EMP shield around its vital components, such as its 9'x6'x9' teleportation quantum computer.

Power: Glycius, like all Tiaither's, can blind teleport up to 16 miles at a time, and has incredibly fast reflexes, in that, he can dodge a bullet via teleportation (note that he is not limited by human standards) Also before he is done teleporting, he is not completely solid so, say someone is trying to trick him like in Wolverine origins, He can teleport again somewhere else, and when teleporting he leaves an after image that will slowly fade. There is a strange feeling, accompanied my a metallic taste and a twinge in your gut (if you have a gut and mouth) that occurs in biological organisms near Glycius, maybe it's just primordial fear of the strange and unknown or maybe it has more to do with something unexplainable, most organisms are affected by his presence although not all.  Glycius also has photographic memory, so he can teleport to anywhere he has seen (within 60 miles). Lastly his (NON overlapping, the space between is very little, and even then there are small bone plates.) scales are extremely tough, and can stop a bullet, if necessary, and he can also see in all light spectrums, giving him clear night vision.

Weaknesses/limitations/drawbacks: It is easy to determine (not detect) Glycius from other life forms using radar, because his weapons absorb radio waves rather than reflect them, although this doubles as a kind of cloak. He also shows up as a cold spot on infrared. If you get Glycius angry enough he will resort to violence, and will protect his friends with his life.

I did say accepted, but I will change the link for Glycius to this revised, consolidated version.

The IC is up everyone. Go ahead and make your starting posts wherever, however you want. This is easy for those with custom empires, anyone else let me know if you need help.

I may respond to your post, whether or not I have a character in the area with addition information.

Alright, I started in Harbinger territory, and am approaching a Minotaur planet. So whomever is in charge of that, be it Op or Night, just letting you know.
