a) Lone, Angel is meant to be a new student. I know her sheet doesn't really show this. She's going to develop a reputation extremely quickly.

b) Jasmine is a returning student. She wasn't on the list.

Alright. The way you worded her sheet implied that she was already well-known at the school. Updating it now.

I might make one last character with TJ's power from Othergrounds, but slightly different.

I have a wedding to go to tomorrow, so I won't be able to make a post tonight or tomorrow morning/afternoon. Is that okay?

Also I'll have a post in by tonight; we had Christmas with the extended family today and yesterday which kept me from posting.

Half of the time put into my last post was thinking of stuff for my characters to say. lol

You ought not to worry about length, that is the most trivial part about making a post. Just focus on being a good writer.

Long posts will come on its own, along with the ability to write well and describe the story and setting. Length also largely depends on how much or how little you're given to work with, and what context it comes with. Most in-game conversations are usually made up of more and shorter posts to make up for the dynamic nature of dialogue. If you're given more to work with, you generally write more in response. If you're given little, it's usually reciprocated. Vice-versa usually applies to non-dialogue based writing. You're allowed to write more due to the fact that less restraints are imposed on you and you're allowed to set the table and keep on writing as much as you want. There's no shame in posting only a paragraph if that's all you can do. Sometimes it's better to keep it short and sweet than to stretch it out as long as you can, thereby making it boring and tedious to read.

A good way to make a long post more engaging is to avoid the passive voice since its too indirect. An active voice is more engaging and interactive with the reader and it propels the story by the perspective of the character, whereas the passive voice takes a much more objective perspective as though you're reporting what's happening in the story to the reader.

Alright, who wants to get an involved in a sub-plot I'm going to do involving Rush (And a mysterious individual known only as the Man in the Mirror) unraveling the many secrets of the school? It has to be students only, though.
