Academy 218 - Superpower School OOC (Always Open)

I wanted to give Shade a chance, but since he won't be able to get on, I guess I should get moving. I'll see if it can be done by tonight.

I thought of a little ranking system for our powers. You know the power classes (Cerebral, Super-System, etc)? I was thinking that everyone gets a number depending on how powerful their ability is (And Metas that fall under multiple classes will get each ability separately). 1-3 are the weaker powers, 3-5 would be medium, 5-7 would be the stronger powers, and 7 up would be the super powerful ability. For example, Sage would be elemental 5, Jake would be cerebral 6, Lily is power 10, and Jaska, is a special case, being animal/super system 5-10.

What do you guys think?

Think I suggested a rating system before, I say go for it. Also think I suggested that it be anonymous, unless you plan to consult everyone about it individually.

I will assign the ratings myself, but people can give their input on what they think.

I suppose then. Only other thing I see is that it might cause generalizations about character effectiveness, which could cause unnecessary friction. At least if it's public and labeled. I'm mostly curious about how many people are on each level overall.

Anyways, I'm good with however you feel it'd be best.

It measures the general measure of power of that ability, not how the ability is used or the skill of the user. A learned user of a level 6 or level 7 ability might easily dominate someone with a level 9 ability.

Friction is only going to occur if someone gets a sandpaper wrapped stick up their ass over it.

What Lieo said. It only rates someone's power, not how good they are with it.

Alright, after much revisions and changes; I finished the ratings.

Power Rating:

Noticed that I don't have many characters on there, then I remembered that those sheets were private. If I get back into things I'll eventually append their power sections to their sheets, enough people know what they can do anyways. Guess I'll wait until if and when that happens, unless you wouldn't mind quick sending me what they'd get.

That was honestly a tough question for myself, actually. Due to the nature of her powers (And what she can learn what to do) it makes her pretty powerful if she has another meta to mess with.

Yeah, it is, but nothing earth shattering or something that topples countries.

Yeah I wasn't sure but I just figured if I saw blood go everywhere like that ten I would be thinking "dead!" So I had my characters think that XD

it occurs to me that I may have to few characters. I'll have to fix that.

Dude, don't make more characters just because other people do. There's no prize for having the most peeps and you don't get noticed any more. If you want your character noticed more, then plan things out with other people before posting.

I literally have one character, she is my child.

I have to say, this is getting pretty interesting....
