The monkeys with wrenches that maintain the school finally found the source of the blackout. Seemingly the electrical system was sabotaged by an unknown party. Fortunately, the damage done to the school was repaired, and the power was restored. Just as the lights went off, all the lights snapped back on, and the electronics, including the camera, returned.

Gabriela Mya Valos.

True Night wrote:
"Yeah, there's a trio of guys that have been doing well in the arena and think they're all that. The only one I know is Vallery, the other two are new. Haven't actually seen any of their matches, don't think it's worth my while."

Arsov... The only words that rung through her head was the mention of Valery. She immediately knew of who Kate was talking about. Drake, Abe, and Val. "'Team Headstrong' as they call themselves. They have the son of Adam, dis guy named Abe, and da' Russian Valery." She saw them fight in the arena a few times. She was relatively indifferent to them, other than finding them annoying (Mostly Val). Other than that it reminded her that she needed to form her own arena team. Because she, surprising as it sounded, hasn't step foot in the arena yet. Then there was who she could recruit. Jake was certainly in. Jaska is out of the question, he's too young and sweet to be a warrior... At least right now. Sage was likely. There was Kate, but she didn't look like the warrior type at all. "Don't worry, lass," She started off, taking a sip of her whiskey, "Someone will come along and take them down. Eventually." She rolled her eye.

True Night wrote:
"Well..." Kate drug out her response to try and make her drinking partner anxious. "I'm open to get to know you a little better. I couldn't help but notice that you have a few up on me." She grinned and blinked her long lashes. A combination of mischievous and flirtatious. "Lets see what happens after a couple more rounds. In the meantime I wouldn't mind hearing a little about yourself."

So she's eager, Gabe liked that. The only problem was what Gabe wanted to avoid. Personal questions. How nice. Long as they didn't go too deep into things like Gabe's scars and how she lost her eye (Those are real conversation killers, anyway). Thankfully Kate's question was flexible, Gabe could work with it. She leaned on the table, placing her elbows on the table. She needed to collect herself for this, so she could try hard enough so that she didn't say anything she'll regret later. "Well..." Gabe started off, trying to find the right words, she didn't want to give away that she was 'rich' just yet, "I come from one of those special families... Ya' know, where they're all Metas. Lived a little. Played a lot of soccer, and learned a little of the martial arts." She was intentionally being vague, there was plenty of things that happened that Gabe didn't want to speak of (When in reality, she wasn't ready). "After a little incident or two, I got sent here with my twin brother, Jake, and younger brother, Jaska, to attend this illustrious academy...." Where are they, actually? She wondered for a moment. "Ya' probably saw Jake around 'ere. Hanging with this chick, and playing the piano in the longue. Jaska's the lil' bit with the wings and claws." And more emotional problems than you can shake a stick at. She gave Kate a toothy grin as she ran her hand through her hair, "That enough for tonight? Heh. I'm not a fan of giving up too much away on the first date, ya' know what I mean?"

Gabe noticed that she hadn't taken another sip of whiskey. Meh. She didn't need any.

All the lights in the room suddenly flickered on. It was not too much of a surprise for Gabe, despite the fact that she jolted slightly, but returned to her usual demeanor the moment she realized what happened. Meh. The lights were on, but Gabe had no intention of leaving the room anytime soon. All her attention was devoted onto her new lady friend.

Ray Judah Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.

Rush's number spontaneously appeared in Eric's phone, which he had gotten all the information he needed off of it. Eric would make a good ally if he serves his end of the deal. Rush had looked forward to seeing Eric in action. Tomorrow looks like the day they'll stop doing things on their own, with Mina on their side, and now Eric. Perhaps it was time to update the man in the mirror. Eric was heading to his room, and it was time that the pair do the same. Rush said some parting words, "Will see you tomorrow. Have new meeting spot. Will meet you with other associate. Goodbye." They quickly left after that.

When the power came back on, it didn't provoke too much of any reaction in. Only an off-hand comment from Ray, "Heh, and I was just starting to like the night fall." They kept heading to Ray's dorm-room.

Jake Vin & Jaska Din Valos.

The lights flicked back on. At easily the worse moment. We could have use those lights, like, ten minutes ago. Jake thought to himself as he was suddenly assaulted by the light. Whatever. It helps them now that they have light to guide them. The best option to get them to the hospital came in the form of Jaska. He had better senses than all of them, and could scout out the area. "Yo, Jask, can you get us to the hospital?"

It took a few moments for Jaska's sensitive eyes to adjust to the new burst of light. He was easily able to to hear with his independent hearing. "Uh-huh." He said, nodding his head, he pointed in the direction of the hospital with one clawed hand. He started walking over towards the hospital, his tail wrapped neatly around his waist. Leading along everyone in his group towards there. He knew where it was because during his exploration of the school during the week, the place that had all the weird smells that confused him... He decided to stay away from here, out of fear. It wasn't long before they made it to the hospital.

When they stepped inside of the hospital, it got a little hard for Jaska to resist his injuries. His sense of smell picked up plenty of information that was processed. Sickness. Injuries. Hunting grounds. His hunting grounds. Everyone's weak. Distracted. Building set up nearly like a maze. Hunting grounds, good. Unsuitable prey. The various thoughts ran through his small head as he tried to resist them, and stuck close to Jake. Lest he wanted to lose control of himself yet again.

"Um..." Jake said, his tone was hoarse. "I'm injured, and could use a little bit of help here...." He said, his eyes were drifting off to the side, back towards his group. The hospital staff quickly escorted Jake to the nearest room for examination.

((Hrng, need to go to bed already))

Megan Emma Jervious.

The lights came on. How lovely. Here Megan thought that she would have to wonder around in the dark for a little while. Now with her lights on, she now has a good grasp on where she is going, and can see ahead of herself. She stopped, and looked back. They were definitely a distance away from the body and everything that it showed. Fortunately, she had hoped that the boy won't be too scarred. Because it's not like he was the one nearly killed there. "Don't worry, dear," She said to Trace, looking at him, "It's all over and there is no more need for further worry. We're doing our best to get to the bottom of all of this." She said, with the best uplifting smile she could force across her face. "Now, I do recall seeing you before... But I just can't get my finger on who exactly you are... I'm Megan Jervious, the power instructor." I should get this boy to his room. It's the best place to put him.

Anthony "AUGGGGHHH!" The lights went in when he was climbing directly a hall lamp the light blinded him and caused him to take a little stumble from the ceiling and on the floor. As he got up blinking rapidly and trying to ignore the pain that now throbbed in his back at least he could see now at least.
least he saw the lounge and walked in he intended to go to his room ,he was seized by his narcolepsy about halfway through the room and he ended up sprawled by one of the armchairs.

Jackson
"I find that using only some of my power is usually pretty effective a simple morphing your hand into a lock pick is much easier than turning into a rhino and ramming through the door you could turn into a shark to go undersea swimming or you could just adapt your body to get gills". "Sure it's cool to transform into a giant Orc to battle but you end up overusing your cells faster. Classy over Flashy is what I prefer". Anthony's alarm clock flickered on the dull glow illuminating the desk it rested on "Guess the power's on now uh....want to go to the lounge?" Jackson didn't really like the lounge to noisy to many people but if Niza wanted to go he'd tag along.

Kate

Headstrong, eh. She'd heard a lot from Cassandra, however not their name. Either she didn't know, or was deliberately not using it in their conversations. There was no way to be sure, they after all only fought once. Kate laughed as if she didn't know that much about it. "I've 'supposed' to have been in a few matches, but I need a particular type of meta to be on the team to be effective." What she didn't mention is just how effective. So far the longest fight with her and Casandra teamed up lasted a minute. On the other hand without somebody like her she was useless most of the time. "Might that be you? I don't have to know your power to know you can probably kick some serious ass." Gabe's answer to her question was more than satisfactory. "I'm an only child. Wonder what it would be like to have siblings, let alone gifted ones. Thanks to detention she hadn't seen either of them around. "I'm sure I'll recognize them when I see them, and it sure is." With that Kate downed her shot of whiskey. As she was setting it back down the lights came back on. "Took them long enough." Kate remarked. Now she'd be able to get back to her dorm... or be caught stumbling around. Great. She hadn't thought that far ahead. Then Gabe's roommate would be coming back eventually.

Vespera and Cassandra

High above the crime scene Vespera waited for Drake to leave. The smell of blood reached her nostrils even from her vantage point. Made her consider heading back to her room and getting something to eat. No she had to wait it out. His flesh would taste so much sweeter. Unfortunately for her plan, the lights came back on. Dammit! She was still cloaked in the darkness, but any ideas of swooping down on unsuspecting prey were erased. It still wasn't quite curfew, so she headed back to the lounge. On her way she saw a familiar figure bellow. It was Cassandra, who also happened to heading in the same direction. Nobody out alone and suitable for tormenting was found much to her displeasure. That put them in the same boat, with the exception that she was already over it. "Why don't you come down and walk with me." She had felt a neurological presence nearby and hacked into Vespera's senses to see none other than herself be watched. The spider woman hissed and lowered herself down on black thread that dissipated right after. This was the reason could ever sneak up on her.

"What do you want?" Vespera replied venomously.

"You're not still upset about that night, are you?" Clearly she was. "You got your roommate changed, so everything should be fine. Besides, we still need to work together." Cassandra said reaching out to stroke her friends chin.

"Hmph" Vespera turned away. Normally she might have allowed it, however in this case were it anyone else she'd have pounced on them and be threatening to drip acid on their face.

The two of them walked in silence and until the reached their destination. Cassandra grinningly held the door open for Vespera, who deliberately bumped into her on the way in. "How rude" she chuckled before following her inside.

Niza
-

Niza looked around as the electricity came back on, and sighed. That was great- now she didn't have to worry about any idiots going around trying to harass her. Of course, she wasn't really worried about that- she could easily take care of someone like that. Jackson asked if she wanted to go to the lounge. The lounge.... Oh. She had forgotten all about Ene. Oh well. Though she did need to live up to this nice girl image she was having to keep up....

Niza pretended to be shocked for a second, "Oh my goodness- I completely forgot! Before the electricity went out I was supposed to meet my friend Ene in the lounge after I got some coffee. I hope she found someone to hang out with instead of waiting for me..." Niza paused before further explaining why she was "worried". "she's really shy and such."

Niza took out her iPhone and typed in a quick message before turning it off and looking back at Jackson.

"I guess I do need to go to the lounge. Well, if you want to go, then you can." Niza was aready standing up and beginning to head for the door.

-
Ene
-

Ene sighed with relief as the lights came back on. Things felt much safer now that the cameras and everything was back on- people were less likely to do some crazy stunt like fight with someone... Or do something much worse. Ene found herself biting her thumbnail nervously for a moment at the thought- what if these power outages came more often? It took her a moment to realize what she was doing, but Ene quickly stopped biting her nail and let her hand fall back to her side before following Jaska to the hospital.

Once they arrived, Ene watched as Jake (and hopefully Arianna) were taken to the back before turning to face Jaska. "So, um...."

A beeping sound was heard from her back pocket and Ene jumped, before looking around nervously. The past incidents had really left her on edge... she just jumped because of her cellphone's ringtone.  Ene took out her cellphone and flipped it on. It was a text from niza.

Hey- sry bout not arrivin @ the lounge. Power outage made me forget. On way ovr now

Ene winced. She had completely forgotten about meeting Niza- luckily so had her friend. She slowly turned off her phone and looked back at Jaska. "I-I, um... have to go to the lounge. Do you want to come with me?"

-
Len and Bre
-

Neither Len nor Bre were aware of what had happened in the hallways- they weren't aware of a fight that was taking place or of a boy that had been cut to pieces but was somehow still alive. They were aware, however, of the fact that Kynan and Jaylin were no longer in their rooms. Len once again knocked on his step brothers' door to their dorm. He shrugged as he turned to face Bre.

"Not there. And in the middle of a power outage, too..."

Len didn't like the idea of his brothers wondering around in the middle of a power outage where some immature guy would try to take advantage of pulling pranks on people or something... and his brothers are probably going to be doing the same. And will then get themselves in trouble.

"They're fine," Bre smiled reassuringly. "I'm sure they won't get in any trouble."

Of course, leave it to Bre to know what to say. Len nodded at her quietly before looking up as the lights came back on. That gave him some reassurance, as well.

"Tell you what- how about we go to the lounge and wait for them there?" Bre suggested. She was really trying to reassure him about the situation. Bre straightened her sunglasses and smiled.

"Okay," was all Len replied with before turning around to start walking in the direction towards the lounge.

For a long time, Merry had remained silent. The entire room felt hushed, not that Merry noticed or anything. The great feeling that came with booze was quickly leaving Merry, and she was crashing. Horrible anxiety was returning to her in waves that left her practically paralyzed in fear. What if she had been caught? There were strict rules about drinking in the school and even the country. It was illegal. Merry had committed her very first crime to impress a girl who quickly left, and left Merry, when things got too weird. And now all she could feel was sadness, regret, and guilt. She should have listened to Lily and Jesse, they had been better friends to her then Gabe had. She could have been kicked out of school and would have to live with the fact that she messed up. And her impending hangover and headache didn't make her feel any better.

She wanted to apologize, but found the words got stuck in her throat. She wondered how long she could live knowing that she could have been expelled or worse in a blink of an eye and not even remember. Suddenly Lily said something.

Allen wrote:
"So... What do you guys wanna do once the power comes back on?" She said, leaning back into the chair, "How about we... Uh.... Head to the longue? Something interesting might be there..."

Merry sat up slightly, resting her chin in her palms. She hadn't even noticed that the lights were still out, and couldn't remember when they were last on. Her mind felt too jumbled and she assumed that the darkness was result of her drinking. She spoke in a soft voice. "Wait...the power is out?" And then as if on cue the lights returned, and Merry winced. After a moment she opened her eyes back up. Muttering a soft and defeated "oh..."

Due to the blackout; almost all the students in the lounge had left. A few had returned, but the lounge wasn't as lively as it normally is. There were so few people in here, it was like a ghost town. Most of the people that were in the lounge had gone off to do their own thing unrelated to the lounge.

Gabriela Mya Valos.

A question about her power. Fabulous. Gabe took a small sip of the whiskey as she thought of an answer. "Lasers." Normally she would have responded sarcastically, but being a smartass would help nothing. Gabe pointed her finger straight at the ceiling, and fired off a bright blood-red laser at the ceiling. Casting a bright light on the environment around her. This laser was nothing more than a beam of light, it had zero effect on the environment. Normally even a small laser would have left a small hole, or a scorch mark if she made it hot or solid. "I burn f*ckers to the bone. All I have to do is point and shoot. But..." She pointed at her eyepatch, and with a grin, she said, "... Only problem is this. I tend to miss a lot. Hahaha..." She laughed a little. "Dun' really matter that much. Since one of them will hit. And believe me, it'll hurt." There was a lot more about her power that she left out, but she didn't want to spill her bag of secrets just yet.

True Night wrote:
"Took them long enough."

Gabe shrugged, the lights coming on didn't matter. Perhaps it'd be high time to check up on Jake and Jaska. They were in the lounge last time she checked. Gabe had enough alcohol for one day. Despite the thought that they could get into some trouble if they're catch drunk... Gabe was good at hiding intoxication. Gabe got up off the chair, and walked over to the door, putting one hand on it, "So, ya' wanna head to the lounge?" She gave Kate a sly grin, and leaned on the door, "What? Can't hold ya' own liquor? I once won a soccer match with this buzz, it's nothing"

Jaska Din Valos.

The ringtone of Ene's phone rung through Jaska's acute ears. He was distracted by the various sensations of the hospitals momentarily. That is until Ene started looking at her phone. He got up on his tip-toes (Or claws) and looked at what Ene was doing on her phone, invading her privacy more or less. "Mhm... Yeah..." He agreed with her, then, without even waiting for her. Rushed out the door to the hospital, hopefully with Ene in tow. The lights are back on, and everyone can mostly see clearly, but him. The lights shining in his eyes was irritating. In fact, he enjoyed the darkness. Nonetheless, this wasn't anything he isn't long accustomed to. There was something on his mind in fact. Betrayed by his body language and rather worried facial expression. Of course whenever he gets nervous or frightened, he started tapping the tips of his claws together. He wondered what happened to Jake. "So um..." He said, his voice low, "... What happened to Jake and Arianna?"

Carmen 'Lily' Santo.

Right when Lily asked about where to go, the lights came right back on. Now that anxiety and fear seemingly evaporated. She felt a little relieved... Because she felt. Even though she could easily detect people pretty well with or without light (The only problem would be maneuvering). Now what to do with the power back? Hm. Perhaps head to the lounge. The only problem would be the drunken Merry, stumbling around being obvious. "C'mon, Jess, Chica, let's head to the lounge." She got up off the bed and grabbed onto Merry's arm, carrying her along there. All they have to do is hope that someone like Adam doesn't come in and lose their sh*t. Well, Lily or Jesse weren't the ones that got drunk, so they're safe. Val or Gabe might get into much more trouble, but far as Lily could tell, she was exempt.

The trio quickly made their way into the lounge, and it wasn't as active and busy as it. It was depressingly quiet and empty right now. Nonetheless, Lily found them a table in the corner of the room. With Lily putting her arms on the table. She had some words to share with Merry, "Now, I have to ask you not to indulge yourself in underaged alcohol again, Merry."

Eli and Ariella

The lights came back on, and Ariella cursed under her breath. She covered her face with the pillow and tried to fall back asleep, now lacking the energy to taunt Eli any more. Hopefully she'd be able to get back to her room soon and could sleep there. Maybe Eli could carry her there. It would be easy to get him to considering he obviously had no idea how to say no.

"Um..." Eli responded to Sage as the lights flashed back on "I don't really know how it works. Megan told me about it in power training. Basically, it's some sort of way that I can strengthen or bestow new powers on people, or something like that. Honestly, I didn't know I could do it before. I guess I just sort of touch you on the shoulder and you gain it. Let's see if it works." Eli touched Sage on the shoulder and closed his eyes. A very dim golden halo appeared above his head, and a similar one appeared above Sage's as the aura transferred. Eli let go, and the halos vanished.

"So, do you feel any more super now?" he asked.

Claire

Claire looked up at the cigarette and took it shakily in her hand. She moved it towards her mouth, hands trembling, and tried to grab the lighter out of her pocket. She fumbled with the cigarette and lighter as she attempted to light it, and the cigarette fell from her hand, where it landed on the ground and rolled across the carpet. "F-CENSORED." she muttered in a half-dreamy voice. Her eyes seemed to drift off towards it, but she couldn't seem to will her arm to move out and grab it. She tried to mumble something, but all that came out was gibberish. She cursed again and tried to speak once more in a very shaky voice.

"D-drake?" she said, almost unsure if he was listening "C-c-can y-you take me b-b-back to my room, p-please?" The lights came back on, and a ring of shadows, a foot or so across on each side, surrounded Claire. Her shadows had entered defence mode, a mode where they surrounded her in a cushion to protect her from damage. If anyone touched her, they would attack and struggle to keep them from hurting her.

Drake Deltori Blackmore.

Claire was certainly shaken from all of this. She was in need for a helping hand. No, better than that. A Blackmore. He got up and offered his hand to her, and helped her up to her feet. "Yeah, we'll get you back to your room. I should head back to mine, actually." He walked with her, his strong arm was around her. His observant eye was on guard. If anything with wicked intents come after them, he was going to give it his all. Only showing mercy when they have been defeated. Other than getting a few looks from the students passing by, no one bothered them. Nor did they say a word to them. Drake eventually made it to Claire's room, and opened it. He helped her to her bed, as her room-mate was no where to be seen. Wherever her room-mate was didn't matter. He sat down on edge of the bed with Claire. He didn't expect to be invited to a girl's room this early, nor did. Drake wasn't going to take advantage of the girl in such a fragile state. That'd just be underhanded and scummy. He never want to appear that way, only the strong knight that he truly is. Drake had a cigarette in hand... He stared at it for a few moments before taking in a puff. "So... We can talk if you like..."

Act 4: The Day a New Monster was Born

Day 11.

3:52 Pm

News of the Headmaster's missing daughter spread very fast. The teachers learned from Adam, and the students learned from the teachers. The reports of what happened to the student also spread. No matter if they even wanted to keep it a secret, the entire school now knows what happened. The entire school is on high alert. Dacious ordered the entire school to find Amimoore. He assigned the school's security detail to search every inch of the school for her, in addition to plenty of the teachers. Class was more or less dismissed for everyone today because there were little teachers. As a result of all of this, there were few people actually providing security for the school. Students could go out and do what they please without risk of getting into trouble.

The day was bright and sunny, and not an extra flake of snow fell. However, the sunny day was a betrayal of the true mood that the students were feeling...

Jake Vin, Gabriela Mya, & Jaska Din Valos.

Spoiler:

The day was bright and sunny, just perfect for the Valos!

The three were outside, walking around. Since there was little for them to do around here after last night. Jake fortunately came out of the incident with Titus with little injury. Of course, Titus was now on the top of Gabe's sh*t-list. There's just no way in hell that she was going to let Titus get away with this thinking that he can do whatever he can to them because he's a big ape. In fact, the very thought of what happened pissed her off on such a great day. Other than that, the other problem was that the headmaster's brat went missing and everyone's losing their sh*t trying to find her. Leaving everyone to do their own bloody thing. Basically sending the school into a 'anarchy'. Which is both good and bad. On the plus side, Gabe and the rest of the Valos are free to do as they please. Perhaps maybe get a little payback on Titus. On the flip side, someone else is just as likely to screw her over as they are to someone else - Well, that'd be on them. Because Gabe's retaliation will be out of their hands.

Gabe was leading the three, wearing a flashier and girlish outfit than before. She was wearing a bright-red long-sleeved sundress that went past her knees, showing her well-toned legs, with a matching floppy sunhat on her head. She had sunglasses on, that covered her eyepatch, hell, if it wasn't for the straps, people would get the impression that she wasn't missing an eye to begin with. She had gloves on like she normally did, to conceal the scarring. Gabe had on black winter boots, that went up a bit higher up her leg than regular boots. She had a red leather purse slung over her shoulder, and with one hand on it. As she was walking, she pivoted halfway around, and looked at Jake, "So, whatcha two wanna do?" She asked.

The first person to answer was Jaska. He had a different outfit on than usual. An outfit that actually hid his animal-like features, despite the fact that he proudly puts them on display often. He wore a T-shirt with Sonic the Hedgehog on it, one of Gabe's leather jackets thrown over it, obviously the jacket was blatantly too large for him. His wings were flexible, and can fold enough that he could disguise them under any outfit. Except for the two conspicuous bumps on his back. He wore blue jeans, and shoes a few sizes larger to accommodate for his claws. He had on black sunglasses. Other than the bumps in his back, his teeth, and his claws, he looked normal. "Oh! Can we go back to the training room? I want some hero training."

Rolling his eyes, Jake followed last in the group. He was, more-or-less, back to normal right after the incident last night. He came out of being thrown into a wall with plenty of bruises, cuts, and cracked bones, but he'll live. He sure as hell felt that in the morning. "I'd rather find somewhere to relax for a bit." He shrugged. He was wearing a different outfit from before too. An overcoat with a pinstriped dress-shirt, both the same color, and dress pants. His pocket watch was hanging out his coat pocket, and he kept a close eye on it. Because he felt like he was going to need it in a few moments.

"Bo-ring." Gabe chuckled, stopping, crossing her arms, and shifting her weight to one hip, grinning, "You've done plenty of relaxing all week with your little girly friend, Arianna," Gabe paused for a moment to make a heart gesture with her hands, "Why don't we change it up a bit and have a bit of excitement for a change?"

Narrowing his eyes, Jake grumbled, "Well I had enough excitement from the blackout, and two, she's not my girlfriend." Yet.

"What? Ya' lost 'er to the rockhead, didn't you?" Gabe sarcastically gasped, teasing Jake, "As a wise man said: Ya' done blew it, kid." She found messing with Jake to be more enjoyable than ranting about how she's going to beat Titus to an inch of his life.

"Ugh, I..." Jake half hissed the statement, before stopping and realizing that he's digging himself in a pretty deep hole. With his pride broken more than anything, among other things, all he wanted to sit down and hope that he'll get over this. "Alright, let's get back on track." He turned to Jaska, "We'll go do some training." Well, training does help him in the long run.

Jaska was staying quiet the entire time, except for the laughter. Which he tried to contain by covering his mouth. Their behaviors always change when the two are around each other. Heart-rate. Smells. Pitch and voice tone. It was a change in pattern that he was somewhat familiar with, because, but didn't understand it. A result of his mixture of naivety and inexperience. Though, he hadn't a clue who the 'rockhead' was. Though, it didn't matter - Because they're going to train! He always wanted to train to become a superhero. Because that why he's here. To be a hero! "Let's go!" Jaska jumped up into the air, like he was going to fly towards the training hall, innocently forgetting that his wings were restrained at the moment, quickly coming to earth as he realized his error. Jaska will walk. But very fast. Since he wants to get there fast.

"Not so fast." Gabe chuckled, "Let's find our-self a training buddy first." She gave Jake a cheeky smile. "Ya' know, someone we can shoot at!"

Drake Deltori Blackmore.

Spoiler:

Last night Drake saw a body. The kid turned out to be alright... But it was so... F*ck. He didn't know how to put it. He didn't want to lapse back into it.

So smooth thoughts again.

Today he didn't get to see Abe, or Val around, so the arena wasn't an option for how to spend his day. Besides. Drake is a man that needs variety! Victory's fun, but spending every day of his time here beating up some random kid for adoration will get boring. So why not show these kids what he used to - used to is a massive misnomer - be a superstar at before he came here? Basketball, baby. The sport of the smooth. He needed to find some kids that play basketball, and then beat them at it... Just to get his mind off things. What better way to accomplish that than ego-stroke? He had everything he needed. Shorts, his high-school team jersey, a basketball, and some good running shoes. Since he's from Black Fall, the big wigs at his old school decided to make the uniform all black. Didn't bother him. Black is his favorite color.

The first problem was getting through the campus wearing shorts and a jersey!

Meh, I've pulled off dumber things.

He pushed open the doors to the dorms, and immediately felt the cold wind push in and, damn, it hit him hard. He almost found himself shivering, it felt like his balls were going to freeze to the side of his leg. But he was determined, the cold was nothing but a sensation! The obvious choice to deal with the problem was counter it with a little heat. A grin formed on his face as he took steps forward, with every step, he transformed his body. His body was sheathed from head-to-toe in plasma. A natural part of his plasma form is flight, and Drake loves it. He jumped up into the air and flew towards the gym, with a trail of plasma following behind him. High up in the air, he saw the Valos trio walking, he gave them a cheerful wave as he picked up speed.

The trip was, quite frankly, kinda boring. He's done this before, but whatever. He said that he's a man about the journey... He might as well stop there, before he mentally makes himself sound silly. Hell, but he made it. He stepped inside the gym, and like the rest of this place, it had a lobby. The room was dome shaped, and connected to three hallways, with informative arrows that directed curious students in the right direction. Sports. Workout. Swimming. Hm. That might be fun actually, he'll have to keep this place in mind next time he meets with Val and Abe. Perhaps they'll see who's the best at drowning. Ha! Naturally, Drake went for the sports rooms. Since he can't play basketball without a court, can he? Drake quickly found the first basketball that came into his eyes... And was faced with royal disappointment. The atmosphere was perfect. The court was perfect. With smooth, shiny, well cleaned wooden floors, six hoops, making it possible for three basketball games at once. Shiny metal bleachers. But no people. Really. Not a single soul in this basketball room. Ugh. He'll have to give this place the good old Blackmore magic and inspire some people to play.

Drake just got on the court, and started shooting hoops. Just to get warmed up for the rush of fans he's about to get. All the times when he was so alive on the basketball court flashed through his mind's eye.

Adam Leo Blackmore.

Spoiler:

"Damn the Headmaster..." Adam mumbled to himself. He was heavily displeased with the course of events. The staff is tasked to capacity already, but now Dacious is making everyone search for his daughter. Basically leaving the school undermanned. Which leaves the school more at risk than ever before. There was some blatant flaws in his logic (Adam was exaggerating when he calls it that).  He really understood the Headmaster's desperation, but far more students are in danger with so few people to keep them in check and safe. Whoever these people are, they mutilated one student, and who's to say that they won't stop there? Dacious after shipped the three power instructors away on the search too, but hell if Adam was going to leave the school unattended like this. He managed to convince Dacious to allow himself, Leon and Megan stay here to hold what little order over the school that they could.

Adam stood on top of the student dorms, watching over the entrance like an eagle. He couldn't keep watch over every part of it, but he was going to patrol it the best he could. Wearing a black dress shirt, and jeans, with a brown, thick, overcoat thrown over it. His face perfectly conveyed the irritation he's had over the recent events.

Mina
-

Mina yawned as she sat down in the lounge, glaring ahead at the wall. Her black hair was pulled back in a ponytail and her headphones were covering her ears, blasting out music that anyone around could probably hear. Her left hand tightly gripped a Monster energy drink, which she took small sips from. The drink didn't really do much to help with her energy, but it did help a little.

Last night she hadn't even tried to leave her room in her spirit form- Mina had just sat down and stared at herself sleep, waiting for morning to come. She had heard something about a kid getting hurt- his fingers and tongue and everything got sliced off or stabbed. Some psychotic idiot found such things amusing, probably. Maybe she should look into it later on.

Mina took another sip of the energy drink and yawned, rubbing a tired eye. Then Amimoore was missing- the poor headmaster must be terrified. Mina scowled. This only gave her an even larger distrust for the headmaster. And then all the teachers were busy and so most of the students were almost as free to do things like last night if not for the security cameras.

Mina wondered a bit about what Ray and Rush were thinking of this whole situation.

Dexter 'Rush' Chertok, & Ray Judah Drager.

Spoiler:

In one corner of the lounge, there was a group of kids, all boys, playing Call of Duty against each other. One larger jocklike kid was winning, and making a load of noise. Acting like he just won the lottery. When Rush passed by, he decided to take the try-hard down a few notches, out of boredom. It was a simple use of his power, but he turned off the boy's controller, and with a other few alterations he made it impossible to turn the controller back on. He wailed and desperately tried to get the controller back on before it was too late. He had lost. Rush gave him a smile as they walked along.

It had been ages since he laid a foot in the student lounge. Even then, he only entered the lounge for business reasons. Since he never enjoyed intertwining with the other students. He and Ray were looking for Mina or Eric, and they would either be in the lounge or the cafe. Fortunately, they managed to spot Mina sitting down somewhere. The pair wasted no time in making their way over to her, and sat down.

"Missed us?" Ray started, with an amused smile, firmly planting his behind on the table. He was wearing his usual black outfits. He had on a black sweater, with a scarf around his neck, and black leather gloves. He had on blue jeans, with a large metal belt buckle, and tan work-boots that were slightly torn and tattered. He had his sunglasses hanging from around his neck like a necklace. "Things have been getting a little crazy lately, don't you say?" Ray and Rush have heard of the headmaster's daughter going missing, and all sorts of other craziness going down. He was wondering if there was a connection with the weirdo that appeared in the Headmaster's secret prison, and Amimoore going missing. There had to be. Worse comes to worse, the group has another problem to deal with on top of the evil Headmaster.

"Affirmative." Rush said, "Highly suggest ulterior motive here. Security sent away. Students. Teachers. Left defenseless. Unsure of what Dacious will gain. Need more information." Rush was wearing his usual outfit as well. He had on the large black trenchcoat that he's never seen without, and contained his relevant inventions. Under that he had lime-green sweat pants, and a hot pink shirt on, with sneakers on. His goggles were on his forehead, they were a little dirty.

Rush was right, with the security gone the students are free to get preyed upon by whoever did that to the one kid. But today Ray was going to take advantage of that. "Let's just hope that it's nothing and we can still pulling through." He explained, his voice was low, he was trying to keep his voice down "But today we're going to take advantage of the chaos for something we'd probably wouldn't be able to pull again."

Right after he finished talking, a girl loudly shouted, they couldn't tell what, but it was pretty frantic. The duo looked back, to see some chick run away from this Indian girl in a sweater, with a devious grin on her face.

"... Right... I think we should find our forth member and talk somewhere private." Ray scowled as he looked back.

Tally Allin Muliere, & Eliza Stacy Prezelin.

"... Just leave me alone." Eliza yipped.

"Oh? So you can be alone with your guilt?" Tally sneered to Eliza. The pair were in the student lounge, and sitting in one of the booth's. Tally was just chilling in the lounge, enjoying the recent events. Listening in on the thoughts of everyone in the room. Eliza's thoughts interested Tally the most, so she became the target of Tally today. "You did kill her? Remember?" She sneered again. It was clear that she. She did know that Eliza didn't kill anyone, but that was the fun in this. Tally was wearing a thick, pink, bushy sweater, with blue jeans, and a white backpack slung over her shoulder. She had on ear-plugs and was blasting music loudly, but she could still understand everything around her. She didn't have her helmet or goggles on, but she did have plenty of bracelets and arm bands on. Dressing much like a child years younger than her would.

"No I didn't." Eliza responded, before her head whipped around to observe the area. Just to see who was looking. This girl was scary. The problem that she had was that her memory has been hazy lately, like it's harder for her to recall certain facts. There was indeed a fear that she could have been the one to murder Amimoore. But for what reason would she have to kill a potential friend? Eliza wore a leather jacket, and a T-shirt under it, with jeans and boots on.

"Oh don't lie, I know you did it." Tally leaned back into her chair, "You were jealous of what Amimoore had-"

"Please-"

"So, you killed her. Plain and simple. You've had plenty of time to hide what's left of her."

Eliza stopped Tally by pounding her fists onto the table creating a boom that echoed through the room. Her arms started getting larger, the muscles in them were starting to gain mass. Get bulkier, like she was the hulk. Her chest started to do the same. She now had super strength in her arms.

"Oh? Are you going to kill me too?" Tally could sense Eliza's thoughts, and read her emotions, she was being pushed to her limits. Meh. What a baby. Tally was just saying some blatants things to get a reaction out of her, and she's feeding her more than she could ever want. Tally could sense long term stress and problems... Interesting. Hell, if Tally really did think that Eliza murdered Amimoore, then she got more than proof. "Those arms and huge. You must have used them to do the dirty deed! You seem angry too. That seems motive enough-" Before she could continue, Eliza decided that she had enough.

"Enough!" Eliza screamed at the top of her lungs, "Leave. Me. Alone. I killed nobody!" She hissed through her teeth. At this point, that fear and anxiety turned into anger. She was just about ready to break this girl's neck so she couldn't talk about... But wouldn't that prove her point? Yes, begrudgingly, the best thing to do was to leave here, and hope to never see this girl again. Eliza left the scene fast as possible.

In response to all of this, Tally just shrugged, "Oh well." She then walked off to find something else to do. An innocent look on her face.

Trace was sitting on his bed, despite being one of the first to learn of the murder, Trace had only recently learned of the kidnapping. He was wondering which would be better of the two, being dead wouldn't be ideal but the possibility of wishing he were didn't seem any more appealing. "I've got to get my mind off things." Trace moved over to a small desk with a makeshift lightbox that appeared to be contructed from rulers, a sheet of plastic and a small lamp. He placed a sheet of paper on the light box and started sketching a head. After a few minutes the head's facial features appeared, though the guide lines were still very evident. The eyes of the drawing seemed as if they were rolling. "Geez for a minute I've got only 1199 frames to go. I think I understand why nothing's drawn any more." Trace said as he looked at the head that would only ever exist in two dimensions.

Eric

As it would so happen, Eric walked into the student lounge almost in a stupor. It would be clear to anyone, even someone who didn't know him that something was wrong. His head hung low and his eyes were red like he hadn't slept well or had been crying. Even though he saw his new found friends and some other chick they were far from top of mind. I was the last one with her... this is all my fault. All of the teachers are out looking for her, and somebody else is going to get hurt in their absence. He hoped that somebody would see him as a target, so he could let out some self anguish, or get a punishment he believed he deserved. Headmasters daughter... how could I be so foolish? Maybe if he'd payed more attention at the opening ceremony he'd have known and not have let her out of his sight. Shamefully he was scoping out the attractive ladies for potential dates. Eventually he decided not to just stand there and mope, so he headed over to Rush and Ray.

"I was with her. Animoore. Right before she..." he blurted out then cut himself off. There was no need to say anything else. His fist clenched and the skin of his hand flashed metallic for a moment. He was hoping that they had an idea on what do, after all they were talking about the Headmaster last night.

Seth and Vespera

Ever since the draw in the arena it was apparent to Seth that Vespera wasn't over it. Not only did it stick out like a sore thumb to him, but it had happened before. The spider meta had an impressive track record, however it wasn't completely unsullied. Every single time the loud speakers declared anything other than victory for her, a seed or rage was planted. A weed that keeps growing and growing with only two ways to eliminate it. Cut it at the root, by cutting down the perceived offender, or get rid of the soil, Vespera herself. There was no getting through to her until vengeance was hers. Conveniently he'd been with Drake during the blackout, however another chain of events was giving her a back to back opportunity. He knew without a shadow of a doubt that she'd have attacked if he wasn't around. This time he would have to seek him out before she could strike. So he stood from a the most central, commonly transversed area and waited, Sure enough Drake came by and he followed. Basketball court. Seems fitting. Seth hadn't even played a full game in his entire life, but he had the advantage in this department. As he walked in he grabbed a ball off the rack and spun it expertly on his finger as if he'd been trained. This way it'd seem like he was coming on his own to practice.

Like Seth predicted, Vespera was also on the lookout. She had the advantage in the senses department, but lacked her adversaries precision. At this point his interference was just a an inconvenient coincidence. Though it became clear that she was actively being opposed when caught wind of Drake's scent followed by his. Why you. Her mouth was partially transformed into mandibles that she gnashed angrily. This left her at a crossroads. Follow them in and have to play nice, and hope that Seth gets called away, or risk losing her prey. Attacking anyways was out of the question. There was no doubt that it'd become a two versus one, and it was admittedly questionable that she could take one of them. Still nobody hurts or embarrasses her and gets away with it unscathed. Grudgingly she made she none were present to witness before leaping down from the rooftop and following them in.

"Hello Drake" Seth said as he casually flicked the ball into the nearest hoop. Vespera hadn't the foresight to grab a ball, but he covered for her nonetheless. "How nice of you to join me." He said to her like she'd been invited. The ball rolled over to her feet, and she took it. It was tempting to pop it, however she refrained and tossed it back indignantly.

Cassandra and Vance

Having missed out on an opportunity last night, Cassandra decided to prank somebody today. It had been a while since she'd done anything to little Vance, and it looked like Seth was nowhere to be seen. She changed her appearance in his perspective to be of some girl she'd seen his eyes on before. A semi-gothic skater type by her dress. Seemed like somebody he'd go for. So long as they didn't run into the real she'd be fine. Even then she had some tricks up her sleeve. "Hey what's up?" she walked up to him. As she expected he was totally surprised and she saw the telltale signs of anxiety in his nervous reactions.

"Oh, nothing much. You?" You can think of something better to say. Come to think of it he didn't even know the girls name. This was a little odd, and awkward. It seemed that she was wearing an exact same outfit he'd seen her wear before. Metalica shirt, studded belt, skinny jeans, with black and white Converse. However, it wasn't so unlikely that it tipped him off. Surely he'd worn the same exact thing twice at some point during his time there.

"They look like some fun, come on." Without waiting for a response Cassandra took his hand and drug him towards a trio of students walking by. "Wait for us!" she called to the Valos siblings. Since she was somebody else she could and would act as wild as she wanted.

Wow, this chicks a little spontaneous... and erratic. Still he didn't see why she should oppose her, and he had nothing else to do. His attraction towards her brushed any other reasons aside. He didn't know the real her at all, and thus couldn't tell that her attitude was totally off kilter.

It was his submissive personality Cassandra was counting on to make this work, and so far it was. She similar fooled their senses so she could pretend to be one person to everyone. Trying to be herself to them while somebody else to Vance was less taxing on her powers, but much more likely to fall through. Shapeshifters and illusions have it easy. Now it was time to come up with how to embarrass him without giving herself away.

Kate

The café was open despite recent events. It was completely student run, so there was no reason for it not to be. Kate was a little miffed about having to be there before her usual shift when everyone else had the day free, but it was money. Not that she needed a whole lot, however her continued employment was required to keep up with her needs the academy doesn't cover. Today's crowd was pretty boring, though everyone had to eat sometime so there was still hope. Granted then didn't go elsewhere. She put on her typical show and raked in the tips until then.

Mina glanced up at Ray and Rush, her thin lips curling up into a sour smile as she slipped her headphones off her ears. "Hey," she smirked before taking a sip of Monster. "I was thinking you missed me," she sarcastically countered. "Anyway, yeah. The school is getting crazy... at least crazier. You hear about the kid who had his fingers and tongue cut off? His eyes were gouged out and eardrums stabbed. He's still alive, from what I've heard," Mina let out a dry laugh.

Mr Allen J wrote:

"... Right... I think we should find our forth member and talk somewhere private." Ray scowled as he looked back.

A fourth member? Mina's head, which was resting on her arms, tilted to the side a bit, her headphones sliding on her neck along with it. So what is this person's ability? Mina decided she could save the question for later and instead quietly asked, "So what stunt are you planning to do?"

It was then that some guy who seemed to be around 20 approached them. She noted that he had seem of skin on his chin cleft that traveled down and ended just before his neck. Were some of his teeth silver? She might've just imagined it. A common sleep deprivation could do that.

The guy as talking about how he had been with the headmaster's daughter before she had disappeared. Why is he telling us this? Mina wondered with a it disgust. Wait. Mina slowly glared up at Ray and Rush. The guy was talking as if he knew them. Fourth member.... this couldn't be the fourth member of the group they were talking about, right?

Mina just remained silent, deciding to let Ray or Rush respond. She didn't know this guy and didn't care about Amimoore- why should she speak?

-
Len, Jaylin and Kynan
-

Len's hair was in a mess and his eyes tired as he knocked on Jaylin's and Kynan's door. The staff were all busy, and there wasn't any classes today as a result, and he, having spent most of the knight walking around with Bre, went back to bed. He had heard of the headmaster's daughter goign missing, and had been worried about his brothers. Strangely enough, however, he hadn't seen them all day. They weren't the type to really worry about these things. Len waited for a reply after knocking.

Silence...

Len knocked again, before finally hearing as trained voice- he believed it was Kynan's- call, "Who is it?" Len's expression became confused as he called back, "Len."

There was silence again before he heard the lock on the door come undone and Kynan slowly opened the door. Both of the boys were still in their pajamas- really they were just some pajama pants and a plain white undershirt. both of their expressions were grim.

"What's up, guys?" Len hesitantly asked. "I mean, uh, what's wrong?"

Both of the boys exchanged glances- Len figured they were actually talking- before finally jaylin spoke up.

"When we were walking around last night, there was a body that...." He looked down and shook his head, rapping his arms around his stomach as if he were suddenly sick.

Len's eyes widened. If he understood what his step brother had said, then there had been a.... murder? That couldn't be right. He walked towards his brothers hesitantly, trying to think of how to help them. He knew that they weren't the type to feel better through seclusion, so he would have to think of something with people for them. A crowd of people. just great. Oh well, they were his brothers and he had to find a way to help them and leave his comfort zoneo f only a few people around him.

"Get dressed. We're going on a walk," Len ordered. Kynan mmediately began to get dressed, and Jaylin slowly followed suit.

-
Ene
-

Ene walked through the snow, her blue sweatshirt from the first day of school once again on and now wearing some faded jeans and ugg boots. She slowly walked into the cafe, her short brown hair hanging in her face a bit as she sat down at a table, trying to think of what to order. She needed something to get her mind off of the things hat were going on. Most of the staff was out because Amimoore was missing. And that meant there were still some people probably trying to prank today, though less luckily since the security cameras were working once again.

Ene sighed, flipping open her cell phone to check and see if there were any texts. One from Niza. She ignored it- she didn't feel like talking to anyone today. She just wanted to get something to drink and relax. Alone.

Animation was far more work than it appeared as far as Trace cared, as a result he placed the pencil he was holding on top of the light box. Trace stepped away from the desk with the light box, "Maybe I should see if the training place has anything for shapeshifters." Trace thought for a moment. He grabbed his skateboard, which happened to be leaning against his bed in a small fabric bag, he took the wheeled piece of tree corpse out of the bag and placed the bag on his back in a fashion similar to a single strap book bag, before walking out of his dorm. Before too long Trace was coasting down the hallway, wether or not he would get in trouble didn't seem to be on his mind.

Jaska Din, Gabriela Mya, & Jake Vin Valos.

It was no surprise that Jaska was the first to notice Cassandra and Vance. At first he heard them talking in the distance, but that was something he was used to and ignored. "Hm?" But when her footsteps lurched towards them, he stopped and turned around halfway, looking at them. Followed by his older siblings doing the same. Even if Cassandra wasn't disguised, the three wouldn't have any idea who the hell she was, same with Vance. "Who are they?" He asked raising an eyebrow. He was unfamiliar with their scent and their appearance.

Great all the weird goth girls must want me. Jake looked back at them, with a blank look. He wasn't in  the mood to play the constantly nice guy right now. His back was in pain, and all he wanted to do was relax somewhere and talk, but now he's being dragged into the training hall. Eugh. Hopefully today will be better than how last night went. Jake put his hands in his pocket. "Not a clue. Let's hope they don't bite...." He whispered

"They won't bite no harder than we will if they push us." Gabe sneered, her hand on her purse. "Look at the bright side. We might have found our training buds." Her tone was distinct sarcasm, unsure of whether or not she was being serious or not, or that she had her own plans for them entirely. Either way, she was being a bit more optimistic than usual, more confident. Because if they're trying anything, then they'll have an angered powerhouse on them. "Let's play nice. If they're losers, then we'll ditch them."

"... Let's not tell them what we're going to do until we decide on that." Jake inserted.

That's what they silently agreed upon doing. When the 'Strange Girl' and Vance were close enough, they were greeted by the Valos.

"Hey there, pleasure to meet you." Jake greeted, "I'm Jake."

"Oh hiiii Pretty Lady." Jaska greeted the girl, almost ignoring Vance, but the guy was kept within his peripheral vision.

"Howdy," Gabe said, merely because she couldn't think of anything else.

'Tally' Allin Muliere.

The trip from the student lounge to somewhere else was somewhat short. Tally made her way to the cafe, a student run building that she, among other students, occasionally does her business in. Mostly she uses it to find new people to add to her group, like today. She stepped in, slowly opening the door, and giving the place a good look. Though she didn't have to look. Her telepathy gave her a more in depth look of the place than her eyes ever would. A peak into the mind itself. Most of the thoughts were lustful towards the waitress. The place was a little empty today. How unexpected. With the turn of events that took place, not too many people would want to enjoy the cafe in fear of a sociopath targeting them. Oh poo. That means that Tally will have to find some other way to entertain herself today. There was a girl (Ene), sitting in one of the chairs not very far away. Tally focused on Ene's thoughts, and tried to drown out everyone else's. Her thoughts were a more passive, and otherwise, the girl was pretty boring. Perfect target for Tally's typical kind of mischief. "Hi! I'm Tally." She greeted, as she sat down on the table. Depending on what Ene is thinking will determine what will happen next.

Drake Deltori Blackmore.

When Vespera tossed the ball back to Seth, it was struck with a bolt of lightning, striking the ball mid-air and causing it to explode.

Complementary of Drake mutha f*ckin' Blackmore. His right arm was transformed into his plasma form, along with his eyes, and bloodstream pumping plasma charged blood throughout his body. The pure-heat vibrated through the immediate area, then the room. His reasons for such aggression? Well for starters, he thought it would be cool. The other reason was that he disliked Vespera, and sure as hell wouldn't want to play any kind of basketball with her. He just doesn't want her to desecrate the great name of basketball! His arm didn't revert back to it's 'normal' form, merely because he was ready for a fight. He spoke to Vespera, a cheeky smile remained on his face "Now, now..." He wagged his finger back and forth, "I already got big-brother watching over my shoulder 24/7. Hahahaha...." He threw a thumb in the direction of Seth, before laughing, "I'd rather not add you too. Heh... So go listen to My Chemical Romance, or throw some black paint on your face. Whatever you Emo Goths do." His tone, demeanor, and outward appearance was very cheeky, like he was joking. In case Seth actually invited this weirdo, Drake would find somewhere else to chill. Maybe give the ruins a gander.

Ray Judah Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.

There was a silence when Eric showed up and announced that he was with Amimoore that night. Neither of them were that good when it came to comforting people, and likely never will be. But hell, that won't ever stop them from trying. Ray was the first to speak, putting a hand on Eric's shoulder, "Look bud, it's not your fault. I'm sure she'll be all right in the end." Nailed it. That was likely the best he could come up with. He turned to the rest of the group, then ordered, "Let's go, we'll talk along the way." The group started walking, immediately leaving the student lounge. They made it out of the dorms in a shorter amount of time, and were walking down the various paths of the school. They were out of the campus ground the moment they walked through the walls of the school. At that point, Ray looked over his shoulder at Rush. Before ordering, "Boy Genius, you know our little scheme better than I do, you explain it."

Seemingly on cue, Rush pulled out a device, a tiny, square shaped machine. "In light of recent events: school understaffed. Including security. Except for cameras-"

Getting cut off by Ray, ".... You're restating the obvious, Nerd, you might want to make it a little more concise."

"Oh. Pardon me. Get carried away with exposition at times." Rush giggled, "Now. On to the main thing." He looked back at the group, "... Our goal. Break into the Headmaster's mansion. Plant receivers in strategic locations. Everyone has role in plan. Ray. May you elaborate?"

"This'll be fun. The entire mansion is covered in cameras, not the cheap kind you find in the liquor stores, the kind you'd find in the pentagon. A cockroach can't fart without one of those cameras picking it up." Ray explained,

"No good..." Rush sarcastically shook his head, "... If we didn't have Technomind. Our plan would certainly be stupid. Yes. Very stupid."

Rolling his eyes, Ray continued, "... As he said, he'll be the one to take care of the cameras. That's when you come in Mina, you'll give the place a good sweep before the rest of us run in. But, you'll stay asleep and keep an eye on things. If the headmaster, our little Dreamwalker friend, or anyone else even, pops up, wake up, tell us what's going on, and we'll have no choice but to bail out. Even if someone just so happens to pop in, we'll just leave. We can't risk a big fight breaking out in there. Too much of a risk."

Ray explained the first part of the plan, the basics, before he continued, "We can get in easily. I can get us through any door, just not in the way you'd expect, and if it's electronic, the Boy Genius can get us through it quicker. Once we're inside, don't touch anything, and if you do have to touch something, put it back. We can't have any traces that we were there. That said, we slip in, slip out. No one knows we were there. Clear?"

Rush started laughing, because he loves it when a good plan comes together. "Any questions?"

Cassnadra and Vance

Now that they were closer, Cassandra recognized Jake as the cheater from the first night. Were she herself right now she'd have said something about it. The other two she'd seen around and recognized as they were very distinct looking. Gabe's eye path and Jaska's wings stick out like a sore thumb, though the boy had them covered right now. "Nice to meet all of you. I'm Violet, and this is Vance." If her plan was to work it'd be better if they were under the impression that they knew each other, of course she did, but her persona didn't. His name was something trivial yet important. An easy piece of information to have acquired, and something every person loves to hear. Her understanding of psychology told her that he would be thinking 'Oh my god, she knows my name' more than 'how did she know my name?' Especially since he had the hots for this chick.

Vance was thrown of by Cassandra's antics, in exactly the way she anticipated. He turned a little red and already pound heart went faster. If she knew his name, that means that she'd noticed him too. More than likely even asked around and got his name from somebody. Thankfully she had stated hers, or this would have been ten times more awkward. All he managed to say to the others was "Hello". He still wasn't exactly sure why she went up to him, then suddenly a group of strangers. It didn't matter too much though, he'd take what he could get. Maybe they could split later.

The first phase was to take his emotions on a roller coaster ride, while confusing the hell out of him. Now that he was all excited it was time to bring him back down. "I challenged my self to meet five new people today, just two more to go. Hope were not intruding."

Maybe she's not so into me after all. Wait. Then he realized that she said five, and there were four people. Yet she said two more to go. A mistake? Or did she know one of them? The only thing was she was acting like she knew him. Could I have met her before? Perhaps before the incident with Cassandra. He scratched his head, but decided to go with the flow.

Seth and Vespera

The remnants of the basketball littered the floor. Seth didn't look, there was no need. It was a clear sign that Drake wasn't happy with Vespera's presence. Something that couldn't be remedied, however he would keep her from playing. First he had an another issue. He was provoking her, and knowing her she might decide to attack even with a bystander.

When the lighting was fired, Vespera instinctively tried to dodge, even though it was too fast for her if she was the intended target. Her mind flashed back convulsing with electricity on the floor of the arena. Before Drake even said anything she was well on her way to being dangerously angry. Only because of Seth did she try to restrain herself. One of these days you won't be around. Oh now she had it. All the while he insulted her he was as arrogant as ever. The now unbridled fury within her caused her to turn red and shake uncontrollably. Acid dripped from her mouth, and she felt her alternate form overcome her. Nothing happened though. Nothing but immense pain and trouble breathing.

Unseen alterations in the density of the environment around Vespera counteracted her completely. Pressure kept her limbs from emerging, and lack of it dissipated the acid. Her primary focus would be shifted from Drake to her new found lack of oxygen, and the pain caused from her body struggling to transform. Seth gave her a very stern glare, then motioned with his eyes to the bleachers, then the door. A very clear message of sit down, or get out. He turned to Drake "I didn't bring her along to practice, I think you can see why. Even if she were stable, it'd hardly be a fair match, unless you used your powers also." Like him, she was superhuman all the time. "I'm always honing my body in the various facilities, been a while since I've used this one." The reason he didn't suggest a game is that he'd have the upper hand, possibly even if Drake did use his gift. While Vespera was recuperating on the sidelines he went and grabbed another ball, he wouldn't be able to leave the room once she recovered. When he came back he shot another hoop effortlessly. "You should check out the weight room sometime." It seemed up his alley, and so many students focused so much on their ability that they overlooked their fitness. Truth was a person in good shape also had a better time at advancing their powers. Seth himself was in top notch physical condition, and he worked hard to remain that way.

Eric

Ray's words lightened Eric up a little. Deep down he knew that he couldn't have known what was going to happen, and even then if he could stop it. Might of ended up like guy they nabbed. He was a lowlife, but nobody deserved the treatment he received. Now it was game time, and he had to clear his head. Mopping isn't going to help you get the bottom of this, snap out of it. And so he tried his best, lifted his head and listened to the plan. Seemed like they had it all mapped out. If worse came to worse he had some tricks of his own for dealing with security. "Alright, got it." Eric shook himself out, and stretched a few times. That was about as ready as he was going to get.

Mina yawned as she followed Ray, Rush, and Eric- apparently yes, he was the fourth member- outside the campus. She listened quietly to the plan before smirking, yawning for a moment and taking a sip of her drink before saying, "Sounds like a good plan. Just say the word and..." Mina let out a large yawn before she continued talking. "....and I'll go do my thing."

-
Ene
-

Ene slowly looked up as someone sat down in front of her. She appeared to be Indian, and seemed young. And nice. Ene found herself sighing in her mind. She needed a break from people- she always felt nervous around them, and the news about last night wasn't helping. Someone could attack her and she would do... nothing. Even then she wouldn't risk using her power.

This being said, Ene felt on edge and wary of others and just wanted a break from everyone. She couldn't get one right now, though- asking the girl to leave would be mean, and that might make her feel regretful at some point. No one wants to feel that, right?

Ene politely smiled, folding her arms on the table.

"Hey."

Wait, was she supposed to say something else? What would have been a casual greeting turned into an awkward one. Of course. Ene found herself stammering out at the end of the sentence, "U-um... I'm Ene."

-
Jaylin, Kynan, and Len
-

"So where are we going?" Kynan asked once he and Jaylin were both dressed in some jeans, white shirts, and different colored coats- Kynan's Jacket was black, and Jaylin's red.

"You'll see," Len responded quietly.

Jaylin, unusually, remained silent. He was trying to just shake the image out of his head from last night- the image of the kid, with blood everywhere. Words painfully sliced into his stomach... no! Stop thinking of it. He knew Kynan had the image in his head, too, but he was able to act as if he were fine. Jaylin didn't care about being polite so much- he always preferred showing his feelings.

In truth Len didn't know where he was going- he was just looking for a group of people he could have them talk to. Socializing and exercise usually put the twins in a good mood. Oh, yeah. He could go to the training hall. He changed directions and began walking in that direction, his step brothers in tow.

Ray Judah Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.

With their two allies definitely in on their evil scheme, they had everything they need to pull this plan off. That said, they quickly made their way to the headmaster's mansion, going fast as they could down this path. They made it to his mansion in a short amount of time. They did some early scouting before this plan could even go down. Because what kind of idiot makes up a plan without getting solid intel? Obviously not these two. When they approached the mansion, there were some fairly high brick walls, that looked fancy and decorative, and at the end of the path was a huge metal gate. Though a big scary wall has a snowball's chance in hell keeping a school full of superhumans out. It had to be a privacy thing, yes. Ray and Rush lead the group to the wall. As expected, they were greeted with the high-end cameras that Ray was talking about. Almost immediately, Rush did his magic. The cameras didn't turn off, but Rush made everything the four did invisible to the cameras. All that would appear was a normal camera loop.

"We're 'invisible'." Rush said, turning his head to Ray. This was more than simple use of his power, actually. It took a bit of concentration to pull this off, and even the smallest lapse will cause the camera to spot them, and whoever inside will too.

"Good," Ray starts off, before he concentrated on something else. He raised his head skyward, but the angle was certainly shooting for over the fence. He concentrated and the air rippled, two transparent blue copies of Ray's eyes were created, appearing like they're made of an energy. These eyes had the full sense of sight, and transfer any information they gather straight to Ray. "It looks clear..." Fortunately there was little activity in the area other than the various animals running about. That wasn't good enough since his gaze only extends outside. Anything could be going on indoors. "Mina, do your thing real fast." He said, he was keeping watch on everything.

Drake Deltori Blackmore.

Damn. Vespera looked like she was ready to bloody explode out of rage. That looks like it'd fun as hell to watch! Unfortunately she didn't do anything with that anger. Blah! All talk. No game. This made Drake think even less of her, right now she might as well just be a teddy-bear to him. He rolled his eyes and reverted back to his normal form, the plasma faded away, until he was taking his usual appearance. He took a few steps back, the air was a little hot where it was, and he could go without his skin being burned off. He ran his hand through his hair, a cheeky smile on his face directed at Vespera, and said, "Heh, you should go let some of that anger go. That sh*t'll fester inside of you and eat away at your soul. Ya' know?" Or it would if you had one, gothy! He gave a salute in the name of sarcasm, before brushing her off.

With Vespera on the sidelines, calming her Spider-tits, she was more or less unimportant to Drake. Who turned to Seth. "Yeah, I hit the weight room every now and then." He answered. He did head to the weight room sometimes. Because the gym equipment in this place is amazing. Something worth coming back to. "But I came here to school some kids at B-ball.... And since there's no kids here..." He gave him another grin, "You get the first ball." He suddenly bounced the ball off the ground to Seth, to test him whether or not this will be worth his time.

Tally Allin Muliere.

... This being said, Ene felt on edge and wary of others and just wanted a break from everyone. She couldn't get one right now, though- asking the girl to leave would be mean, and that might make her feel regretful at some point. No one wants to feel that, right?

Aw? I'm intruding, aren't I? Tally sarcastically thought to herself. If she didn't want to bothered then why is she in a public building? Full of people? If the girl really wanted to be left alone then why the hell isn't she in her dorms? Ugh, people and their strange thoughts confuse Tally. Going off Ene's thoughts, the girl wasn't exactly a social person, probably was a spineless tool too. What a pathetic human being. Hmph. Obviously won't be of any use to Tally. Maybe she'll be fun to mess with, for a little while, before she moves on to someone else. "Oh, is that the best you can come up with?" She said, a toothy smile on her face. "I was hoping that I'd get some kind of interesting conversation. Don't get my hopes up."

Jake V., Gabriela M., & Jaska D. Valos.

"Hm?" Jaska quietly hummed as he turned his attention to Vance. His eyes picked up the subtle changes in facial color, and he could hear Vance's heart speed up. Like some people do when they're around each other. A little perk of his ability allowed him to pick up on body language better than most. The only problem is that he doesn't know that he can do that - Or for that matter, what most body language implies. Thus, he only shrugged off Vance's change in demeanor, and paid attention to 'Violet'.

If das' the case, then we'll be leaving now. Gabe rolled her eye up into her head and looked at 'Violet'. If the girl wanted to meet a few people and nothing else, then she's just wasting their bloody time. To say the least, Gabe was getting irritated by the girl and this turn of events. She was fighting to hold back the scowl, but fortunately, there was only a minor change in her body language. Gabe wanted to tell this girl to bugger off, but, she didn't feel like it. It would be better if they leave. Gabe forced a smile, and chattered, "Well, it was great meeting you, honey. But we have business to attend to." Her smile became less forced and more natural as she spoke. She suddenly turned around and started walking off, followed by Jake and Jaska.

At her side, Jake was feeling that Gabe might have been a bit harsh. Because knowing her, she left them because they were either boring her, or angered her in some way. He tuned to Gabe and gave her a smirk. You did say we'd ditch 'em if they're losers. Once they were far enough away from them, Jake cheekily asked, "...What made you want to leave? Specifically I mean."

"Eh, I didn't like gettin' my time wasted," Gabe rolled her eye again, "I mean, if ya' dun' have anything interestin' to bring to the table, then don't bother us - Cuz' we ain't interested." She finished her statement with a shrug.

"Hm, I see what you mean." Jake silently agreed, and there they ended their conversation. He assumed that they were heading for the training hall, because there was no where else for them to go. So, after a relatively short trip, they made it into the training hall. They opened the doors and stepped inside. They had to find one of the rooms for them, until they found the perfect one. Kind of large, had concrete floors, and was completely empty. Perfect. Now they can train in private, though there was the feeling that they wouldn't be alone for long.

The three walked into the room, Gabe was the first to speak, "Hmph, not bad." She then looked down at her dress, probably not the best outfit to go train in, but whatever. Gabe wasn't the type to hold clothes in high regards, and could care less if this outfit gets damaged. Because to her, she had enough money to replace this a hundred times, not even bringing into consideration how many other dresses she brought to this school. "Where ya'll wanna' start?"

Mina yawned and slowly nodded. "Be right back," she sighed before her body fell to the ground, asleep. Her spirit form stared at her body before she sighed and began walking, before her legs began to take off in a sprint, feeling more lively than usual. She slowed to a walk at the building and walked inside, smirking as she looked around the building. There wasn't anyone in sight. Mina felt her physical form tug at her spirit and woke up, sitting up in the snow, once again tired.

"I didn't see anyone," Mina concluded with a yawn as she slowly stood up to face the others. "It's all clear."

Ene found her face heating up in response and her eyes darted around the room, looking for a waiter to come over and ask her if she wanted anything. She just needed to get her coffee and get out of this place. Ene found herself stammering even more.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I'm not the best at talking to other people- I.... I..."

Ene wasn't sure what to say and was frozen like a deer caught in the headlights. She was hoping the girl would take a hint and just leave with that. She should have just gone without a coffee and stayed in her room if she knew she would be noticed, but she hadn't really thought that she would- there's so many more interesting people. The only thing anyone would find interesting about her is her power, but that wouldn't be the good interesting- just the kind that makes people look at you like some monster.

Arianna Madrigal

Arianna Madrigal slept hard the night of the power outage. She hadn't witnessed the dead-not-dead body, but the near scrape with Titus and the total exhaustion that followed was more than enough to ensure a solid ten or eleven hours of deep slumber. The normally chipper and cheery girl woke sore, stiff, and with the last eighteen or nineteen hours in something of a haze.

Ugh. Her head throbbed, her sense of balance seemed all messed up, and random aches rattled her chest. If pregnancy is anything like this I'm never even going to have sex. Arianna pushed herself up right, trying to knead some of the pain out of her head through the temples, and yawned. Already, this was just a wonderful morning.

"I'm going to-" Arianna stopped talking abruptly, terror superseding pain and fatigue as the primary sensation in her body. Her voice. Sweet Jesus Christ, what had happened to her voice? Arianna had never worn her voice into exhaustion before, not in all her hours of belting out entire operas by herself or hitting the highest highs and the lowest lows. Arianna sat, absolutely petrified, and in a detached realization, noticed she was more afraid sitting alone in her dorm than she was last night with Titus on the verge of...

She didn't speak for another minute or two, the irrational thought that if she spoke too much now her voice would be lost to her forever shutting out any attempt at coherent thought. She...she'd never...this wasn't....Arianna whispered again, a slight pain tickling the back of her throat, and her voice coming out raspy and weary. Oh Christ. Oh Christ. What if it was like this forever? What if it was...

Stop. Stop and think. You Sang hard enough to knock yourself out twice this week-and since you've come to the Academy, you've been Singing like that almost daily. Your gift's just a little stressed, is all. Needs some time to rest, just like normal voices do. Relax. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay.

Arianna repeated this mantra to herself (mentally;she wasn't speaking unless it was necessary for a few days, something that would prove difficult for the talkative socialite) and slowly got up, some of her weariness beginning to fade away. As she slipped on some jeans, wriggled her arms through a leather jacket, she mulled over what had happened the previous night. Jake's somewhat sadistic prank-and what else could he do? An illusionist...he could do all sorts of nasty things. She briefly was struck with existential terror-what if this is an illusion right now- but ruled that out. If it was, it was incredibly elaborate-but she did resolve to keep a more watchful eye out for Jake's sleight of hand in the future. That was problematic, though-emotionally. She was sweet on him, and he seemed like such a good guy, that this was just one slipup, one incident of trying to be funny in front of his girl and unknowingly taking things too far. Plus...it was the first time Arianna had ever been this way with a guy. There were no boyfriends before Jake, aside from a brief fling in kindergarten, but you can't really count that. She...she wasn't sure of all of this. What any of it meant or how to deal with it or...

Arianna realized she'd been standing in front of her dresser, fully dressed, for a good minute. Boys. She left her room, putting her hair back in a ponytail and not bothering with makeup or anything like that. The image of Abe bursting down the hall and tackling Titus, as best she could remember it from her exhausted memories, kept resonating with her. Arianna had never been a super good athlete. She was in good shape, but...the raw strength that Titus had, she couldn't...there was nothing she could do to stop that. And lately, walking down the halls of the Academy, with her only supernatural means of defense currently raw and raspy, Arianna felt...

She felt like a songbird that had wandered into a hawks' nest.

Arianna wrapped her arms around herself, tugging the jacket tighter against her, and simply meandered through the halls. Jake was a great guy, but...but Titus had just floored him. What if Titus came back? She couldn't do things like Abe could, couldn't stop a man cold by singing at him-she'd never really felt bad about her power, never insecure or diminished, but in the wake of last night, Arianna was having doubts. The Symphony was loud and chaotic in her mind, taking time to work its way back down to the quiet, soothing background noise it usually was. Emotions and natures and essences swirled through her thoughts, making perfect sense and being totally incomprehensible all at once.

It was then that Miss Madrigal found herself somewhere that she didn't think she'd visit in her free time at the Academy-the Training Room. She paused for a moment, thinking it over for about two seconds. Then she walked right on in.

The training room was empty around midday, most people off eating lunch and discussing the last night's events in hushed whispers or out looking for the headmaster's daughter (unbeknownst to Arianna, who had no knowledge of missing girls or dead bodies). She moseyed on over to the back, where their uniforms were. She stared at hers for a little while, looking at it with a bit of disdain. It didn't look like something a fighter would wear.

No. It didn't look like something a survivor would wear. Arianna wasn't a fighter. She wasn't like Abe or Titus. But she was determined not to be at anyone's mercy: not at Jake's illusions or Titus' fists or Abe's golem strength. Never. Snatching her uniform off the rack, Arianna scanned the room until she found the area where students could make changes to their gear and adjust their suits accordingly.

She went to work.

After about two hours of hard work (years of outfitting herself and toying with the various designer outfits she'd been purchased were coming in handy; Arianna was no stranger to the world of fabrics and design), the finished product was emerged. Arianna slipped into it, leaving her clothes folded up in the dressing room, and looked at herself in the mirror.

The suit had retained its acoustic properties, amplifying her voice and carrying the soundwaves down through the material, making it emanate out seemingly from her whole person. The material was a plastic of some sort, clinging to Arianna like a second skin. She tugged at it for a moment-it was flexible enough and stretchy enough to let her move effortlessly, but seemed tough enough to slow down a blade or damper a kinetic attack. At least a bit, anyways-she wasn't kidding herself that glorified latex would stop one of Titus' haymakers. Of course, she'd improved on that-and walking around in a skintight suit wasn't really Arianna's style, either. Reinforced leather had been woven into a few crucial areas, mixed with some synthetic fibers the Academy had, which she assumed was like Kevlar. Arianna had to try it a few different times to get it how she liked it, but eventually she felt like it offered a good degree of protection while not being too heavy on her. The material was padded especially around her more delicate parts, which would hopefully discourage her bones from breaking or her innards from exploding.

She slipped the face guard up, rolling the material up over her mouth and nose, tying her hair back in a firm knot. Arianna eyed herself in the mirror, the suit that could've passed for something out of a superhero movie holding fast to the girl who normally wore Uggs and designer jeans. It was black, stylish, and did its best to make Arianna look bad*ss, which is usually difficult for upper class teenage girls.

It looked absolutely nothing like her and she loved it.

Emboldened by her success with the suit, Arianna decided she was going to get to work on training, which was really the important part of why she'd come down here. Here, however, she was at a bit of a loss-how does one actually train? She didn't want to tear up her voice by doing anything strenuous, but maybe something physical? Like martial arts or something, so she could at least have something to counter Titus with if he came after her. Later she could do some cardio, just to be in shape in general. All of this was exciting to Arianna, in a way that she normally didn't touch on: she was used to being docile and easygoing, and this was taking action, being proactive. The fear from the night before was being phased out in place of confidence and defiance.

Followed by pain as she nearly broke her hand on the punching bag. Staggering back, Arianna clutched her wrist and fell to one knee, blinking back tears in her eyes. What the CENSORED is in that thing? Arianna glanced upwards, seeing that she had selected the bag designed for strength-powered metahumans to practice on. It was akin to punching a truck.

After a few moments, she rose, shaking the last remnants of pain out of her wrist, and heard some people come into the room. A surge of self-consciousness welled up in Arianna, but she wrestled it back down. No. I'm staying. I'm gonna learn to be strong. Oh God. It was Jake and his sister and brother...Gabe. Gabe was tough as nails and nobody messed with her. Why couldn't she just...ugh.

Arianna didn't particularly feel like talking to them-she wasn't entirely sure what to think of Jake yet-and especially as more people found their way in, Arianna slipped further down the lines of training equipment and found a speed bag better suited for a normal human being. Taking a few deep breaths, she started, ironically as naively and innocently as one would expect from Arianna, trying to make herself tough.

Valery Arsov

A cool breeze surged through the Training Room.

Valery toweled some of the sweat off his head (because if you didn't catch it early, it would freeze solid, and that could really mess up your hair) and stepped out of the ring with a few dummies, which were thoroughly battered and frozen pretty much solid. Val shook himself, looking somewhat like a dog after a bath, and specks of diamond dust came glittering down off his person.

"Admittedly not very manly, being Frosty the Snowman," Valery muttered. He turned and walked out of the region of the Training Room, hearing vaguely someone pounding away at a punching bag-but they sounded pretty busy, so he wouldn't go over and tal-

Well, well, well. One of Valery's favorite people. The big Russian, whose shirt was soaked in the front with ice-cold sweat and somewhat solidified as a result, let out a big, not entirely convincing, grin. "Ah! One-Eye and my arena friends!" But it would seem the one-eyed liquor thief was turning and leaving-and Val did seem a little reluctant to insult her, given that she had who appeared to be her young brother with her. Do not listen to any moral advice from your older sister, little guy. She is what we in the business like to call, "liquor thieves" Val extended his hand for a pleasant shake to Cassandra and Vance-unlike Drake, Val had no hard feelings over what happened in the arena. Or over most things, really. He was really only half upset with Gabe, mostly because what she did was just rude. Val never held back giving the liquor away, before-just, you know, ask. No manners, these days. "I have been doing training so maybe next time we fight I can do more than just turn into a snowman, yes?" Val glanced over at Gabe. Eh, he couldn't resist a parting shot. "Hey, Cyclops!" (The irony of this comment was not lost on Val) "I would like to talk with you but I wouldn't want to steal any of your time?" Get it? Because you steal things. He turned back to Vance and Cassandra. "Sorry about that! It is long story. Well, pretty short story, actually. She stole some of my liquor. Now, I can't feed my alcoholism. It is worst thing that can happen to a Russian. Anyways, how are you two doing?"

Tally Allin Muliere.

The girl was clearly stressed, and obvious about that. Hell, Tally didn't need the ability to smell emotion, and hear thoughts to figure that one out. Perhaps the girl could use a little bit of relaxation. Because if Tally was going to get anything out of this, she would need this girl to be in the perfect state of mind. She decided that she was going to try to get everything she could out of the girl, in terms of information. Her power. Her secrets. Her friendship. Worst that'll happen is that Tally will get bored and leave this girl faster than a daddy who doesn't want a kid. The best that'll happen is that they'll be the best of all friends.

Tally started altering the girl's emotions. Changing them to a calmer, more serene state. It was a subtle change, because while Tally can induce a less than subtle change, anyone with a brain will figure this out. Hopefully by now, the girl would be right where she wants her. "Aw... That's not good for you. Putting yourself down like that." Tally leaned in, "Have a bit more confidence."

"I didn't see anyone," Mina concluded with a yawn as she slowly stood up to face the others. "It's all clear."

"Ain't that a little painful, and probably a little cold?" Ray asked, in a somewhat humored tone indicating. He was referring to the way that Mina just dropped to the floor. He knelt forward and helped Mina up to her feet. Upon hearing that the coast was clear- Odd, I would leave one guy behind to make sure that the person I'm looking for hasn't come back - he decided to spring into action. "Good, everyone grab on to each other real tight." His hand immediately latched onto Mina's wrist, then his other hand grabbed onto Rush's - Whose hand wrapped around Eric's. A blue aura surrounded everyone, quickly travelling from Ray. Ray turned to Eric, "Every flown before?" He said with a bit of satisfaction in his voice, "Just hold on really tight to Rush, and I won't drop you." He tried to assure Eric, as this was the first time they've flown with Ray, and he was giving him a heads up to prepare himself. He started floating up in the air, slightly off the ground, before rising higher. The short flight was smooth, everyone wrapped under Ray's aura would not feel the overbearing pull of gravity, instead, they would feel like they've defied it, and that they could barely move around. They landed on the headmaster's front steps, then the aura faded and allowed the group free movements yet again.

As a group, they walked up to the stairs to the mansion. Now that they've gotten past through pesky walls, they got a clear view of the mansion. It was a very large three floored building, with plenty of windows that were likely reinforced to keep out the students and any thieves. It had an obvious wooden exterior, with a less than obvious brick inner lining to keep the place standing. The door was large and illustrious like it belonged on a castle more than a mansion. They took in a good breathe of the scenery, before moving onto the door, on the way, they kicked the snow off their shoes. Immediately, Ray and Rush surrounded the door, it was electronically locked, and had some upgrades done to make it technopath resistant, but Ray could definitely force it open. There were two choices to go about this: Rush could his power to open it, which would be a task, or Ray uses his power  to move the inner workings of the lock, which had a chance of breaking the whole thing and leaving behind traces that they were there. Before they quietly went with Rush, and he concentrated. It was quite interesting out there. Ever since the advent of meta-humans, especially of the technology variant, a whole new level of security had to be invented to, well, keep things secure. Anti-Technopath technology was a direct result of that. It was expensive, but worthwhile to invest if you're afraid of sneaky Meta-humans. Unfortunately, this only inconvenienced the group. After a few moments, the security panel next to the door flashed open, and the group had their own way of entering the mansion.

They quickly stepped inside, closing and locking the door behind them. They were greeted to a large flight of stairs, and if they looked up, they could see that the stairs entered the few other floors. At both of their sides, two long hallways can be looked down. One seemingly went to a kitchen area, while the other went to the library. The group needed to look for something like an office, or somewhere the headmaster would do business.

The very second that the group stepped into the room, Rush immediately dug a small device in the soil of a potted plant, and quickly buried it under a thin layer of dirt. He stood straight up, and spoke to the rest of the group, explaining what he just did, "Many people have vital phone conversations. Through door. Walking in and out of living quarters. Would be surprised."

Ray had his hands in his pockets, "I hope you guys kicked the snow off your feet before you came in: because I have an idea." He then pointed up the stairs, "I think it'd go faster if we split up and look for important places as two groups. I'll grab Mina, and you go with Eric."

"Possible. Yes. Have means of short range communication." Rush nodded his head, turning to Mina and Eric, "What do you think? Team. We are."

Jaska Din, Gabriela Mya, & Jake Vin Valos.

Arianna is in the room. Jaska thought to himself. Few things get by his senses, especially a familiar presence such as hers. He leaned over towards Jake, and tugged on his jacket lightly, unsubtly pointing at her. After he got the attention of the other two Valos, he calmly stated, "Hey, Arianna's here, let's go say hi."

Great, Jake hadn't expected to see Arianna here. Personally, he wanted to give Arianna some space after the dumpster fire of a group outing they went on. He had a bit of fear quelling inside of himself. The brand of fear that steams from a very obvious lack of confidence in himself. He had a feeling that he would somehow f*ck this up, and push her further away from himself. Which is why he was contempt with keeping his distance, at least until both of them have some time... "Nah, I'm going to go talk to her..." But, at some point he knew that he would have. Cowardice wouldn't get him anywhere. He needed to face his problems. Unfortunately his powers had a different idea, Arianna was absolutely erased from his senses, and all changes that she did to the environment were also reset. It wasn't clear whether or not she was actually there. Instead of the same doubt that it usually caused... It brought a smile to his face. We're going to be playing this game forever are we? He mentally asked no one. The never ending game of what's real, and what's fake. Quite frankly, I think I've outgrown it years ago. By rejecting the thought, he managed to see through his own illusion, and lo-and-behold, it was clear that it was the real Arianna (If he didn't think too much about it, she was). Jake walked over to Arianna, nervous as ever. [Continued below]

Gabe's reaction to Arianna was indifference. She just didn't care that much. With a shrug, she said, "Go ahead." She was a little annoyed that he was delaying their training to have fun with his girly friend. "We'll be here waiting." Unfortunately, that little once of annoyance turned to full blown irritation when someone special decided to approach the party of two. "Oh, it's you." The thing is, Gabe always found the guy annoying, but she had a feeling that he would cause a fuss over last night, which was hilarious now that she thought about it. She should thank Val, actually. Without his alcohol smuggling, she would have never have had a great time with Kate, and that hilarious moment where she boozed up Merry. Call me cyclops one more time, and I'm going to stab yer' other eye out with a hairpin. Gabe mentally hissed, crossing her arms and giving Valery a narrow glare. She wanted him to leave, so she didn't say a word to him. Though she did pick up on his subtle message about last night. Oh f*ck off already. She rolled her eye.

"Oh hi." Jaska greeted Val. He hadn't met the older boy, but then again, Jaska was less than interested in interested with in the males of the academy. Whether it was his instincts naturally distancing himself from the males, or the fact that he was a young boy that was practically raised by females, was up for debate. He didn't really get the subtle cue behind Val's statement. So he just responded with, "Okay, we were just about to do some training. But bye!"

Jake Vin Valos.

Maybe it was the fact that he was still a bit hesitant, and very unsure of himself, but Jake managed to push through, and approach Arianna. Ignoring all the 'but's and 'if's and instead focused on what mattered: how the hell he's going to talk about last night. Jake always found himself as a people person, the guy that always knows what to say, but when it came to his crushes, he always has doubts. He approached Arianna, and was quite unsure of what to do now. He found himself awkwardly standing there, looking at her, trying to come up with something to say. Until it just hit him, "I hope I'm not interrupting anything, can we talk?" He said in a soft, somber tone. He was hoping that the answer would be some kind of yes. He saw her hammer away at the punching bags. He scratched the back of his head, "... How are you holding up after last night? I know it didn't go as we thought it would..." He coughed, and his eyes wandered, "But, I have to apologize for that. In hindsight... It was pretty stupid of me to think wandering around in the dark, acting like an asshole, was a good idea." The asshole he was referring to was himself.

At the corner of his eye, he saw something dance outside his peripheral. The moment his eyes wandered to the side, he saw an image of Titus, cracking his knuckles, barking some meat headed crap. This was once again in his head, and not a soul would know what was really going on. He ignored the illusion that his mind had produced, and focused purely on Arianna.

Carmen 'Lily' Santo.

Sitting in the same room as the rest of the group was Carmen Brenna Santo, on one of the benches, reading a book, Main Street, by Sinclair Lewis. Wearing some of her usual punk attire. She had on a black hoodie with several white, but cartoony, skulls on various areas on it. A pair of black jeans and black converses on. The reason why she was here was because she heard Merry talk about how she wanted to train in the arena and decided to meet her there. Jesse was also invited, in case he wanted in. And with the situation seemingly absolutely fubar, she wanted to be out in public, where people can see her, in case anything went wrong. A place where she could be seen. Since, to her, it didn't really matter whether or not she was hiding in her dorm-room, these killers could be anywhere, and want to go after anyone. In any case, Lily thought that being in a public area would be smarter, than a door that could easily be kicked down by anyone with an average amount of strength. Either way, she kept to herself, reading her book. Occasionally taking breaks from reading to observe the people using their powers. Sometimes hacking into their powers to get a brief look into their power.

When the Valos came in, Lily rolled her eyes. It was purely directed at Gabe, and the disgust that she still had for the girl. After last night, she thought that the girl was nothing but an alcoholic asshole, that would have probably been an even bigger headache if Jesse hadn't figured everything out. Jake was forgiven after a week after his little cheating incident - Well, Lily totally forgot about it. But Lily was unaware of the kid they had with them. She had seen the three around, and knew that he was definitely their little brother, and he had wings. Jaska? She thought she overheard his name. Whatever. Lily was going to watch for now. Get information. Maybe f*ck with Gabe if the opportunity popped up and it seemed amusing.

Mina

Mr Allen J wrote:
"Ain't that a little painful, and probably a little cold?" Ray asked, in a somewhat humored tone indicating. He was referring to the way that Mina just dropped to the floor.

"You forget," Mina smirked, "my skin hardens when I fall asleep. As for the cold..." Mina adjusted the collar of her oversized coat, as a small hint for her answer to that question.

Then it was time to go into the mansion. After Ray carried them there with his powers (Mina didnt like the way he just grabbed her wrist, but she wasn't going to complain over such small things), Mina yawned and waited as Rush worked to open the doors. Finally they made it inside. Mina nodded when Ray suggested they split up, and was fine with the groups set up- considering Ray and Rush knew the plan more than she and Eric, it only made sense they were in different groups. Not to mention the fact that she and Rush didnt really have offensive powers, so should someone- or something- attack, they should each be with someone who ha offensive powers, and she was guessing Eric had a more offensive power. And lso for communication te groups made sense.

"Yeah," Mina yawned in response to Rush, before smirking, "I guess so."

Ene
-

Ene felt her nerves suddenly begin to calm down- she wasn't completely sure why, but she felt more calm, suddenly. Ene sighed and slowly looked up at Tally, feeling more relaxe, now, as she began talking.

"I'm sorry about that," Ene gave Tally a small smile. The girl didnt seem so bad- she didn't have the attitude Niza had that mde her seem like she was faking everything. Well, she didn't think this girl was. But then, the main thing that hinted her that Niza seemed a bit more harsh was the time she asked her what her power was. And Ene strait up told her, which to this day confused her. She wouldn't tell anyone her power- she refused to after Jake and Jaska. Ene pushed the thought to the back of her mind and looked at tally, unsure of what really to talk about. Before she knew it, she was asking about probably the one thing she didn't want to talk about the most aside from her power.

"Did you hear about the kid last night who was cut up?"

Mayb it was the fact that it had been stuck on her min earlier that it wa the first thing she asked about- who knows?

-
Niza
-

Niza was watching everyone enter the training room as she sat down on the bleachers. She was mostly trying to find someone else she could "befriend". That's the way she was working everything out- make a small group of "friends" and then whenever something bad happened she would have a group of kids that would be more willing to help her, costing her less of her power than in normal circumstance. She was almost certain something bad was going to come soon- the kid she had heard about last night only confirmed it. A bloodied body with a message to the Headmaster carved painfully into the stomach? That was a pretty good sign that things are only going to worsen. Rebellion- that's what Niza imagined was going to grow from this. Well, technically the body was a sign of rebellion, but she was picturing rebellion on a much larger scale.

Niza continued looking around the room, watching people train. She saw the Gabe girl walk in with her siblings- Niza had decided she didn't want to even try with that girl. She wasn't as naïve as Ene or Jackson, so manipulating her wouldn't be easy- the probablility of Gabe following any order that she wouldn't benefit from! Niza was guessing it was close to zero. Then her eyes settled on a boy with bleach blonde hair as he walked in- Len. Perfect.

-
Kynan, Jaylin, Niza, and Len
-

The moment the trio walked into the training room, Jaylin and Kynan seemed to brighten up quickly. It wasn't because of the fact they were here to train, however- no, they just saw someone other than Len they considered a friend.

"Jaska- Hey!" Jaylin called excitedly across the training hall to the animal meta. Kynan was smiling a bit, as well. Len, seeing the two were going to be just fine, sat down at a bench to watch. Not long afterwards he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a girl- he believed her name was Niza- sitting behind him. Len looked at her blankly with that bored expression he had come to mastered. He had brought his brothers here to help them exercise and socialize- he had known that with his luck he would be approached. Len wanted to sigh in annoyance as he looked up at the girl, not even noticing the Niza's attractiveness.

"Hey," Niza smiled warmly.

Len only blankly looked back and responded with the same word. "Hey."

Arianna Madrigal

Arianna's fists, despite her current worn voice and woozy connection with the Symphony, were hitting the bag in a perfect staccato beat, pounding in sync with her heartbeat and the rise and fall of her breathing (accentuated by the skintight, reinforced armor on her chest).

She let her last punch land on the bag and rest there for a minute as Jake walked up-she'd caught a glimpse of him out of her peripheral vision and heard a strange shift in the Symphony-something like jamais vu. She turned to look at him, her hot breath getting caught by the face mask (Gotta work on this some more, I think. Not ready for kicking any @ss quite yet). Arianna lifted a gloved hand (well, gloved is perhaps an incorrect term-similar to a zentai suit, the suit was more or less contiguous) up and pulled the guard down, exposing her flushed cheeks and letting the buildup of hot workout breath escape from around her face. She wiped some of the sweat off her face and brow-Arianna hadn't been at the bag for very long, but she'd been really throwing herself into it-she was operating under the theory that if she was in a bunch of conventional pain, it would take her mind off some of the supernatural soreness she was undergoing.

Arianna also became keenly aware of how the new uniform, well, looked on her. It had some leather and synthetic fibers padding a bunch of areas, so it wasn't totally skintight or anything (she wanted to be able to hold her own, not look like a stripper) but...eh. She was glad the training room wasn't super populated-and that the redness of her face would conceal any blushing. "You can talk," Arianna whispered in response to Jake. She tapped the base of her throat with a finger. "Sang too hard last night. Can-" Arianna coughed, a violent sensation that went up and down her throat. Yeah. No more of that for a while. She took a few deep breaths and the strain in her throat began to fade away. In response to "how are you holding up after last night?" she extended her palm and shook it a bit-"so so". She gave a slight shrug to indicate that she was neither good nor bad, and then pointed at her throat again and made a frowny face. She hoped that Jake was appreciative of that-singing was the world to Arianna, and even if her soreness only lasted a few days, she'd taken one hell of a bullet by keeping him from becoming Titus' personal ragdoll. Well, not totally, at least.

Arianna shook her head at the next bit, thinking of how to convey what she wanted to say without the words. She pointed at herself, then back at Jake, and shook her hand a bit. I went right along with you. She didn't want to forgive Jake entirely, because between her romantic feelings for him and disappointment at how he couldn't protect her from Titus and confusion over him and Abe and revulsion at how he'd tortured that girl and sympathy and pain she wasn't at all sure how she felt about anything, but Jake's apology did seem genuine. She grabbed his hand and gave it a brief squeeze, not one that conveyed romantic feelings, she hoped, but rather an affirming...I get where you're coming from. Even if I don't forgive you. Sort of.

My voice had better heal up soon.

Jake Vin Valos.

The suit that Arianna was wearing was a little off-putting, but he'll. Now that he's close, he got a good way to see Arianna's suit. Modified, and quite... out of character. This suit looks, tough, villainous, something that, while he's not stupid enough to state out loud, Arianna was the opposite of. Clearly after last night, something had changed. Arianna knew that something needs to change. That was something that Jake understood, because he too needed to change. Before he put his hands together. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just a few bruises. Nothing I haven't been through before." He tried to pass it off as if it was nothing. His body ached in pain, even now. But, like it said, it wasn't nothing that he's felt before. One time he got thrown off a roof, because someone thought it'd be funny. True story. Now that was painful. With that out of the way, he had nothing to really continue the conversation off of - That wasn't entirely true. He did have plenty of ways to continue the conversation. "That's an... interesting suit." Jake had to admit, except awkwardly. "Did you make it yourself...?" He asked, still awkwardly, "I'm not really a fan of the suits they give you."

Jake looked back over to Jaska and Gabe, apparently those telepathic twins had approached them. He should join them, actually. He needs to give Arianna her space. If you want me to go, I'll go.

Gabriela Mya, & Jaska Din Valos.

Right when one irritation left, another one came. Except in a package of two. The twins. Gabe forgot what their name was, and, well, it didn't bloody matter to her. The one thing that she remembered about these kids is that they have Telepathy, and are friends with her little brother. Of course Jaska didn't have a problem with them, he acted like it was nothing. Even though he had tons of secrets to hide. Hell, the boy had a full blown panic attack once someone found out what happened to his mother. Who knows what'll happen the second these kids find out about his 'inner-beast'? Would they accept him? Would they fear him? Whatever'll happen, it won't end well for Jaska, especially those sentiments about him being a monster whirling around in his head. However, Gabe decided to, as strange as this may sound, ease up a little on the b*tchitude. They didn't choose their power - Nobody did. As long as they don't dig into her head, and spout her secrets, and private innermost thoughts, everything will be just dandy. With those thoughts out of the way, Gabe didn't say a word. She just crossed her arms and looked at them. One eye went towards Len and the brown skinned girl, that she didn't have a clue who she was. But Gabe always found Len to be boring, and somewhat irritating, so it didn't matter.

A curious eye was turned in the direction of Kynan and Jaylin, Len was with them too, but he was no where near as fun. "Hiiii..." He greeted with an excitement. He almost extended his wings, but realized that they were underneath the jacket he was given by Gabe. Whatever. The pair already know of his wings, so it didn't matter whether or not it was covered. It was just that today Jaska wanted to keep it covered, because when he was out on the crowded city streets; he kept his bestial features covered, and just didn't want to stop being used to it. "We were just about to start training!" He announced to the pair, "Oh, but we're waiting for Jake before we start." Jaska had kept one ear on Jake and Arianna's conversation, listening to bits and pieces of it.

Tally Allin Muliere.

With Tally's alterations being successful, she relented. Naturally, the changes to Ene's emotions should ware off after a few minutes, unless actions were taken to keep her in that mood. Which meant that Tally needed to work fast, and watch what she said very carefully, to get what she wanted. The girl's thoughts told her a few interesting things. It implied that Ene had a power that was worth keeping secret, but what? She hoped that it was really interesting and nothing lame. With mention of people like Niza, Jake, and Jaska, it made Tally wonder what she thought of them, and, well, who they are. It'll be something she'll figure out later. When mention of the attacked kid was brought up, she stopped focusing purely on Ene, and instead, put a ear to the mind of others. They acted normal, but deep down they were frightened, their emotional scents didn't lie either. Underneath it all, everyone was scared that they would be next up on the list. Fortunately for Tally, she wasn't scared, if anyone attacked her, they would only be spilling all their secrets. "Yup." She responded, just like it was nothing, "It's probably not a big deal - Probably someone looking to cause a scare for attention." Tally brushed off the thoughts of the murder - Though, she appeared to have. She was talking out of her ass to see what Ene's reaction would be. "Or a lover getting back at her... or his... ex, just making it look like it was a middle finger to Dacious." This is a possibility.

Arianna Madrigal

Arianna gave Jake a look up and down. Just a few bruises? Christ, Jake, he threw you like forty feet into a wall. This did, however, cause a rather morbid surge of pride within Arianna-even though Jake was clearly lying, it meant that he wasn't seriously messed up: he couldn't feign "just a few bruises" with a shattered sternum or something. Her Song might've tipped the balance, and that made the meta-hangover well worth it. A few days of speaking in whispers was a fair trade to a few weeks in a brace for him.

Arianna looked down at her suit, and even in the short-breathed wake of her workout, she was thinking of ways to tinker with it. Clothes was something she got, even if she had been dressing fairly casually since she got to the Academy. The way she was raised, her wardrobe was never exactly lacking. There was so much she could do with this...streamline it, buff up the places that needed cushioning, maybe add some cool stuff to make it more practical. Arianna was never going to be a physical juggernaut, could never face off in the Arena against types like Gabe or Valery (although, she mused, her power filled a niche that many of the others couldn't begin to tap into, and she felt a bit of the insecurity over her "weakness" fade a bit), but being able to make her training suit something helpful, even if she wouldn't have it on hand if she got jumped in the hallways, well...it felt like she was doing something.

Arianna gave a half-hearted smile-she was aware that this suit was a bit...drastic for her. But what had happened the night before was drastic. There was no way of knowing where Titus would've stopped; being entirely at the mercy of another human being, especially one who you saw throw your love interest a few dozen yards like a ragdoll, was a bit...traumatizing. Arianna wasn't going to have PTSD, but one doesn't live their whole life blissfully ignorant of the dangerous types out there and walk away unscathed from a head-on confrontation. She nodded, indicating that she made it herself. She grinned slightly, holding out a thumbs up and tilting her head. You like it? She wasn't sure if she wanted Jake there, but she didn't want him to leave. The only thing Arianna was entirely sure of at the moment was that going back to her room and sleeping for another eight or nine hours sounded very, very appealing.
