ok, I;m going to timeskip by two weeks to keep this alive.

You can timeskip less time, just enough for characters to travel. A week is too dramatic, because their lives will dramatically change, and they have to actually react to it. You can't be certain until they find out the lifestyle of the school or the Brotherhood.

Thanks, just saying, this is when we get to see how the lifestyle of the school and the brotherhood look, for the first time. I just don't want something weird to happen, like complete strangers knowing Angus, or someone going to a nonexistent room in the building.

if she can write somehow, that could be how Mamba finds out about her name too.

She can't write, because she's blind. She can try braille, or morse code, but that's about it. She already acknowledged that she can't read because she can't see what she's doing. I think Morse Code is the best bet, because she knows SOS already.
