The human genome is one of the most complicated things in the universe. When completely mapped, the genome's volume is so massive that if you tried to write it, it would take up 3 billion pages of print and would be tall enough to rival that of an office building. Yet, that is what's so amazing about our kind; there are so many genes present in every one of our cells that the possibility for mutation during synapsis is incredibly high, making every human on Earth just a little different. But what if our genomes held the keys to unlocking the true, unlimited capacity of our species? What if the alter of just one letter of our genetic code was the difference between a normal human and that of a man with wings? What if humans could read others' minds, or heal themselves? What if we could change shape into any form that we can imagine, or control electricity?
Area 51, Nevada
According to 99.8% of the world's population, Area 51 does not exist. It was almost exposed back in the 1950's when some foolish reporter tried to say that it was an alien research lab. He quickly vanished and was never heard from again. needless to say, Area 51 exists. it is very real. As they say, the most real things in the world are the things that you can't see. Area 51 is home to the United States Genetic Alteration research Lab (USGARL). it was started in the 1940s, during World War II by a metahuman by the name of Dr. James Kransky, who is still alive today. Kransky's ability is healing. He is what we call a supermutant, in that his genetic alteration is so powerful and unstable that the effects of old age and injury have not affected him in the least. The man may never die so long as he doesn't receive any initially fatal injuries like being beheaded of shot in the chest. Kransky's department is designed to find people like him who's genetic codes are altered and give them a safe place to test their powers. The ones who are proficient and show a strong sense of justice are employed by the government as law enforcement officers; superheroes, in layman's terms. The others are unemployed and sent to leave the school. I mean, we can't kill them, and those superheroes need someone challenging to fight, do they not?
Who am I, exactly? I am Maxx Toron, the Vice Pesident of the USGARL. My job is to find new mutants and take them to Area 51 so that they can be taught proper use of their powers. I am a telepath, you see, and can read others' minds in order to sort the mutants out from the normal humans, who we jokingly call muggles back at the homestead.

These are the School Rules:

2. no spamming, flaming, cursing, spotlighting, or powerplaying
3. no killing other mutants without their permission: we can't walk around lobbing off heads, after all!

5. Not all mutants are recruited by the government. You can play as a character who either already went through training, refused training, or was simply never found and have relative control of your powers, though people from Area 51 will usually have a bit more comfort with their abilities.
6. Every character must have a weakness. The stronger the power, the worse the weakness must be. For example, if your character can heal others, perhaps the cell division during the healing process has a chance of giving the person being healed a tumor.
7. No smilies. Period. I don't care why, but smilies annoy me and if you post them I will hack into your mind and scatter your brain so it looks like a road map of Washington DC.
8. This is a literate roleplay, and unless you're an illiterate moron, which none of you are, I'd suggest posting at least one decent-sized paragraph a post. Don't just put "Bob walkd een & keewed every1 w. hz fire powaz". That's just wrong.

Name: Nicola Godsent (her nickname is Tesla)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Nicola looks like your average rocker chic. She is small, about 5'4", and weighs 100 pounds or so. She is slim and delicate-looking but surprisingly strong. Her skin is pale and white, which contrasts with her short jet black hair that is cut in an almost boyish style. She has stellar blue eyes, an indication that her hair is dyed and is really a light blonde. Her eyes are always surrounded by dark eye shadow, making them stand out more. Her lips are slim and a dark blood red naturally, which matches her nails. A slim ghost of a scar spans across the left side of her face across her left eye, though it is barely visible. She has a slightly longer neck which always has a gothic cross and chain hanging from it, along with what looks like a third of a black circular seal of some sort. She dresses immodestly and like a metal band groupie, wearing a pair of pleather pants, an AD/DC concert tee shirt that cuts off just above her midriff, and a studded black leather jacket. On her feet she wears a pair of knee-high black high-heeled boots with metal studs like the jacket. A pair of black Skullcandy Aviators hang around her neck, and is connected to her iPhone.
personality: Nicola is a hot-headed girl with a very short fuse. She can easily be angered and when she is, she becomes very hard to deal with and increasingly violent. The air itself heats up when she's angry, and everything crackles with static electricity. She's the brooding rocker stereotype who never seems to be happy unless she's partying, drunk, high, or playing the guitar. Her anger, however, isn’t just a personality issue, but her taking her own problems out on the rest of the world. Nicola has dyslexia; a disorder that makes it much harder to read and write. Her mind messes up letters like M and W, or L and I. Because of this, people have always thought that she was an idiot, and judge her before they even get into her sophisticated mind. Her power makes her rather ADHD as well, contributing to her small build and hyperness. She can’t stand still unless she’s high or asleep. She loves music with a passion, and is a master guitarist. She spends most of her time listening to music or playing music. Her favorite bands are Rise Against, Staind, AC/DC, Muse, and Guns N’ Roses.
power: Nicola is named after Nikola Tesla, a Serbian scientist that originally discovered how to utilize electricity and do something useful with it. He made the Tesla coil, which was the birth of fluorescent light bulbs and the tubes that were originally used in televisions. This name works perfectly for Nicola, as she is a master of electricity. Her neurons generate massive volumes of excess electricity which collect in Nicola’s body, making her a live wire. She can control this electricity to do several things. Firstly, she can blast wicked thunderbolts at her enemies, frying them like a bucket of KFC original recipe. Her brain is rewired to absorb some of the electricity, making a net of electrical energy which thwarts telepaths at breaking into her mind. Nicola can control the volume of electricity escaping her body, allowing her to power electrical devices as well. That’s why her electric guitar never needs to be plugged into a socket, and her phone never needs charging.
Now, Nicola’s powers have some pretty obvious weaknesses, namely water. if you soak Nicola, she will fry herself like most electric mutants. Also, rubber stops her electricity and electromagnets can actually pull her electricity off course. Nicola has another weakness as well; her powers require her to be moving almost constantly, so the more she moves, the stronger she gets. However, this is a double-edged sword, namely in that if you prevent Nicola from moving (knock her out or put her to sleep), she will lose her powers. However, you do NOT want to knock out Nicola because you won’t survive it. This doesn’t work when she’s going to sleep, but when knocked out, her body naturally ejects all of her electricity, destroying every appliance in a hundred feet and every person in ten feet of her.
When combined with her brothers Ramiel and Amadaeus, Nicola becomes completely invincible, as Ramiel can rip water molecules to pieces and Amadeus can steam water away and melt rubber.

appearance: Ramiel strongly resembles Nicola, though is bigger, taller, and with slightly different body features. Ramiel stands at about 5’11”, and weighs 200 pounds. He is very muscular, as he works out a lot and plays football. His skin is a little darker than Nicola’s but he is still very pale. He has blonde hair which comes to the bottom of his neck and is swept to the right in the front. His eyes are blue, and are very intelligent-looking. His eyes naturally have dark shadows like Nicola, making him look like a pale Greek person. Ramiel has a slightly longer than average neck which has a gothic cross and chain hanging from it, along with what appears to be a third of a black circular seal of some sort. On an average day, Ramiel wears a pair of low-cut blue jeans with a muscle shirt (the color changes a lot) and a pair of tan steel-toed work boots. When it’s cold, he wears a very dark brown Carhartt zip-up hoodie.
Personality: Ramiel is a lot calmer than his siblings and is the smartest of the three. He is a hard-working man who never takes anything for granted and fights for what he wants. He believes that working is the way to your goal, not letting thing come to you. He can be rather headstrong and reckless, and will sometimes charge into a situation without completely understanding what he’s doing or who he’s going up against. The fact that he’s a Godsent is the only thing that has kept him alive thus far. Like Nicola, he enjoys music, though has a different taste in it. His favorite bands are Coldplay, U2, AC/DC (who doesn’t love AC/DC?), The Eagles, and Led Zeppelin.
Power: Ramiel is named after Ramiel the archangel from the apocryphal book of Enoch. Ramiel was the angel of destruction, and would rain God’s lightning down on the evil. The name means “Thunder of God”, which works perfectly for him. Ramiel is the master of molecules. He can control molecules in the air and manipulate them. His most common air mutation is a spontaneous explosion. He does this by separating oxygen from H2O and CO2, moving nitrogen out of the picture, gathering up more carbon, and causing a spontaneous spark, igniting the oxygen and carbon and causing an explosion similar to that of a grenade’s force. These explosions are spontaneous and deadly, and can easily kill a person. There is no way to tell when one is going to happen unless you have heat vision.
Ramiel’s powers, however, have drawbacks. Firstly, Ramiel isn’t immune to his own explosions, so he cannot create a blast close to himself and survive. Secondly, Ramiel is naturally surrounded by air of a high (but not deadly) oxygen content, making him highly flammable. Thirdly, Ramiel’s explosions don’t always work. Sometimes, there’s an improper fluctuation in the O2 count, and the explosion doesn’t happen.
When combined with Nicola and Amadeus, Ramiel becomes invincible, as Amadeus superheats the shield of oxygen, making it burn out to a normal count, and Nicola can rearrange electrons in the explosions, so they always work. He is still weak to his own explosions though.

Name: Louis Amadeus Godsent (Most call him Amadeus or The Sun King)
Age: 17
Gender: male
Appearance: Imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger after being dropped on the sun. Louis is massive; at least 6’1” and 250 pounds. He has massive muscles and is extremely muscular. The first thing you’ll notice about Louis is that he looks like a french fry that was left in the fryer too long. He is a very dark tan, as opposed to his siblings. He normally wears a pair of black sunglasses, but they leave no mark, almost as if he is sun tanned from the inside out. His hair is a very light blonde that is almost a whitish color. It is spiked up and generally messy. His eyes are blue and his facial features very Germanic. Like the other Godsents, he has a slightly longer neck than average with a gothic cross and a third of a circular black seal of some sort. Amadeus normally wears a tan sleeveless muscle shirt with a pair of long camo cargo pants, a green military jacket and a pair of steel-toed combat boots. Personality: Louis is sort of the leader of the Godsent triplets to everyone but them. He is very bossy, a total control freak. and becomes violent easily. It is alleged that he caused the scar on Nicola’s face when they were younger because she wouldn’t listen to him. Louis’ two main problems are that he doesn’t know his own strength and he is dumb as a rock. He lacks proper intelligence and common sense. Because of these three, he often destroys what he loves and because of that, doesn’t remain attached to anything but his siblings. He sees himself as the father they never had, but doesn’t know how to be a father, so he makes his siblings do what he thinks is right by force. For now they submit, but through his attempts to basically raise them, Louis has made his siblings hate him. This would be his end one day, but considering his insane powers, his siblings really aren’t a threat to him.
Powers: Louis is named after King Louis XIV, a former king of France. Louis was a tyrant ruler, whose nickname means “The Sun King”, because he was said to have ruled everything that was under the sun. Louis is also “The Sun King”, but for a different reason. Louis can create flames of solar radiation or solar flares, blasts of 7,000 degree flaming gas. This is the most powerful heat source on the planet, and will literally incinerate anything that the flares touch. There is no known material which can withstand a blast of Louis’ solar radiation. It will destroy anything that it touches. Even if the flare misses, it’s heat has a massive area of effect and can give people melanoma. Louis seems completely immune to his own fire, and is incapable of getting sunburnt or cancer of any kind.
Now, this power isn’t nearly as powerful as it sounds, yet may also be more powerful. You see, there are two drawbacks to Louis’ power. Firstly, solar radiation requires fuel. Well, Louis’ solar flares absorb oxygen, like normal fire. However, solar flares aren’t made to be on Earth, where we have a limited source of oxygen, meaning that if Louis keeps his flare up for too long outside or for short intervals inside of a building, his solar flares absorb every bit of oxygen near him, asphyxiating Louis and anyone near him. This also means that Louis cannot create his flares near his person, as he will suffocate himself. Secondly, humans aren’t made to be able to control solar radiation, meaning that (though he can summon it), Louis has absolutely no control over what his fire does after he summons it. Because of this, Louis can only create very small bursts of his flares in short intervals far away from him so that he doesn’t suffocate himself (so no solar flamethrowers). However, just because he can’t summon solar flamethrowers doesn’t mean that he isn’t a threat. If you fight Louis, pack a lunch and some sunscreen.

The three combined: The Godsent trio’s combined powers are completely unstoppable. When the three do combine their powers, they can create what is commonly referred to as a mini supernova. This supernova is stronger than ten atomic bombs and will wipe entire cities off the map when done correctly. However, luckily for all of us, none of the Godsent triplets know how to trigger this mini supernova nor do they know that they can.
Name: Irene Copeland

Age: 17
Appearance: Irene is a small pretty woman, hailing from a mixed heritage, her father being black and her mother being white. She stands at about 5'4" and weighs about 110 pounds. She is skinny and bony, with slim limbs and a medium amount of chest mass. Her skin is a coppery color though is more black than it is white. Her eyes are wide and alluring, and are a bright blue, further proving her mixed heritage. Her eyes are naturally heavily shadowed, and she has long thick eyelashes. Her hair is black as coal, and is woven into long, thin, wispy braids (like Aveline de Grandpre's in Assassin's Creed). Irene normally wears a pair of blue skinny jeans with a white long-sleeved blouse and a pair of black cowboy boots. Like her father, she normally wears a blaxk cowboy hat (this is more of an acquired taste in fashion).

Power: Irene is a telepath; she has the power to invade other's minds and implant thoughts. She can use this to read an enemy's mind and create intricate illusions which appear only to her target. She most often creates illusions of herself that can actually be touched and felt, meaning that she can actually override her opponent's senses. Irene also often delivers messages to people via illusory paper airplanes which fly to her target and transform into a letter. She can do just about everything that has to do with the mind, from messing with memories to implanting thoughts, though she cannot kill anyone. However, Irene has her fair share of weaknesses. Firstly, her telekinesis (like all telekinesis) is caused by electrical impulses, meaning that her powers cannot penetrate objects that do not conduct electricity, like rubber. Also, metals like aluminum and tin disrupt her signal and severely limit what she can do when they are between her and her target. So yeah, wearing a tinfoil hat will protect you from aliens and Irene.

appearance: Well, that's a little complicated. Imagine your worst fear, just a thousand times worse. In his non-mutated form, Carter appears as a six foot tall humanoid wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and matching black jeans, along with ruined black tennis shoes. His face...well...he doesn't have one. His face is completely covered over by what looks like a thick, slimy black film that's almost oil-like. The film smells terrible, like the worst thing you've ever smelled, though the particular odor is different from person to person. Though he has no face, he can still see, hear, and smell, though apparently cannot smell his own odor. He is very skinny to an almost flesh-and-bones point, since he doesn't eat much and has a massive metabolic rate. His fingers are long and creepy-looking, and move nimbly like a pair of spiders. he has six fingers on each hand.
personality: Carter's mind is as broken as his appearance. Years of isolation and fear have caused him to become more animal-like and human-like. He is very instinctive, and fears humans, though, like most animals, his fear often turns into violence. He is seen as a monster by all, and it weighs down on his psyche. He has taken to talking to himself obsessively out of sheer loneliness (like Gollum from Lord of the Rings), and constantly refers to someone named ██████, who seems to be his imaginary friend. He has the mental capacity of a child, and is very gullible. He talks in a kidish voice and enjoys child-like things like coloring and playing with toys. He has a little brown teddy bear who he calls Billy which accompanied Carter everywhere.
powers: Carter is known as an Eldritch Abomination. He has the ability to shapeshift into any object. Well, sort of. When he transforms into an object or person, he becomes a severely warped, mutilated form of whatever he is turning into. Each transformation is different, even if he is transforming into something that he's already turned into before. The abominations can look like pretty much anything and only vaguely resemble the original human. Common mutations are long, slimy tentacles in place of long hair and massive, sloth-like claws instead of long fingernails. The slime itself has the same protection and strength of human skin, though heals about three times faster. Carter's skin has some special properties too. When detached from his body, Carter's slime is highly corrosive, allowing it to burn holes in metal. When he is properly hydrated, Carter's skin secretes a very sticky slime which is also extremely thick. This allows him to stick to objects, catch enemies in nets of slime, and clog things such as pipes with slime. Now for drawbacks. Firstly, Carter's makeup gives him fits. The film covering his body is highly flammable, causing Carter to fear fire over anything else. When he sees any kind of flame, instinct takes over and he runs, for if fire touches him, his entire body would go up in a fiery explosion, instantly killing him. His skin also absorbs light quickly and retains heat, meaning that Carter can rapidly overheat in bright sunlight. Because of this, he is slightly nocturnal, and fear sunlight. Carter has another weakness as well. Because of his low intelligence and child-like disposition, Carter is very gullible and easy to trick. He will walk into a trap without thinking twice, and believes everything to be true.
Addendum-C1: According to Dr.██████, Carter's gelatinous makeup has been identified as some sort of [DATA EXPONGED], though is not antimatter or strange matter. In normal form, his mass fluctuates increasingly without his body mass changing, meaning that some of his cells can [DATA EXPONGED] in unpredicted ways. Secondly, the fact that his shapeshifting abilities are not limited by his amount of cells also breaks the laws of matter, meaning that his body can spontaneously [DATA EXPONGED] out of what appears to be thin air, and destroy them at will. This does not seem to give him any sort of advantage, as he can be damaged as easily as a human can, and cannot control these weight and mass fluctuations.
Name: Rachel Bates, also known as Valkyrie age: 21 gender: female Appearance: Rachel is a small girl, only being about 5'4" and 120 pounds. She is slender and thin, with a body resembling that of a gymnast's, so she's skinny, but not weak-looking. her skin is a tanned color, as she was born in Los Angeles, and is part latina. She has large eyes that are a hazel brown color, split apart by a small, almost soft-looking nose. her lips are a natural pale color, but are thick and full-looking. Her face in general is rather appealing, and is punctuated by dimples on either side of her mouth. She has long hair that's a soft brown color and falls down to just below her shoulder blade, though she normally has it up in a high ponytail. She dresses simply, normally wearing a v-neck tee shirt and yoga pants on a normal day, with a pair of running shoes. Now, when Rachel is Valkyrie, she looks a good bit different. No one is quite sure exactly what The Valkyrie looks like, because for some reason, nobody can ever remember what she looks like. When trying to draw or write a description of her, they find their minds wandering and they lose their train of thought. However, a few do remember what she looks like, and only one picture exists of her. the Valkyrie wears a bronze-colored spandex costume that hugs her form tightly. On her feet and hands, she wears black knee-high boots and elbow-length gloves, respectively. A black utility belt is around her waist, and has smoke bombs, a harpoon gun (like the thing Rorschach uses in Watchmen to climb buildings), and a suppressed BXP submachine gun. She wears a shot black halfcape on her torso that is a little longer in the back, but not long enough to get caught in anything. On the front of the halfcape, there is a golden pair of wings that curve upwards and touch at the top. On her face, she wears a gold leaf eye mask that sticks on using a special gum, which also has the curving wing symbol in black between the eyes. Power: Rachel/Valkyrie is known as an antimeme; she has the power of memory manipulation, which is why nobody can remember what she looks like. She can hack others' minds, and alter their memory, allowing her to delete any memory of her presence from the target's mind, or implant a memory of her own design into them. There are no real limits to her power, except that she cannot erase certain memories that had a major turning point in someone's life. For example, if you were to get married and have kids, Valkyrie cannot erase that from your mind. yeah, my power section is short. So sue me! theme:
Name: Connor Conrad, also known as The Watcher age: 45 gender: male appearance: years of saving everybody else's @$$es has made Connor look as cold and cynical as he feels. He is taller than average, being about 6'2" and weighing nearly 230 pounds. he is built like a wrestler, and is almost freakishly big, though his muscle tone has began to slowly diminish and he had began to become rather doughy in areas. He has a perpetually angry look in his eye, as if the world owes him something, and it does. His dark blonde hair is accented with grey streaks and is slicked back a man in a '40s gangster movie. His eyes are dark brown, and reflect no light, as light requires life. His face is accented with frown lines , and his square-jawed mouth is always in a frown. His nose is large and Germanic, and has a long scar going down the right side of it. A similar scar goes across his forehead and gets lost in his hairline as it goes down his skull. His skin is red and irritated-looking, which expresses his angry demeanor. He has broad, thick shoulders that lead to incredibly muscular arms and hands that could palm a yoga ball. His trunk is thick and doughy, and his legs are thick and powerful-looking. He wears an opened-collar, white button-down dress shirt with black trousers that lead to a pair of shiny black dress shoes. Over his clothes he wears a long brown trench coat that comes to his ankles, the collar of which is always popped, giving him an almost vampiric, gothic look. On his head he wears a brown fedora with a black stripe around it, that sits low on his face, shielding his eyes. powers: Connor possesses the hyper-epic ability of the almighty penance stare. You see, when anyone who Connor doesn't particularly like (enemies) atare into his dead-looking eyes, he can hack into their mind and cause wild hallucinations where all of their sins and past wrongdoings are all sent hurling at them at once. This has the ability to freeze, knock out, scare off, paralyse, cause pain, or even depress enemies to the point where they commit suicide (though the stare itself doesn't actually do this). He can also use this power to read other's minds by looking at their sins. This, coupled with Connor's self-made immense strength (he benches nearly 500 pounds, squats 700, and dead lifts 850 pounds. Improbable but possible if a person is dedicated to working out), makes him a powerful offensive threat. However, his penance stare has a few drawbacks, primarily in the fact that you need to look him in the eyes to be hurt by the power. Also, Connor's powers are controlled by anger; the angrier he gets, the worse the hallucinations get. So if you were to change his emotions from angry to another emotion, his power would weaken greatly. Also, for him to torture a person with a sin, they need to know that it was bad, and they need to have done it under their own power, the definition of a sin. So, if a guy sleeps with your wife, and knows that he's committing adultery, then Connor can punish him for that. However, if he sleeps with your wife and doesn't know that its wrong, or was forced to somehow, Connor cannot punish him for that. and a super-epic theme song:
Name: The Raven, he got rid of his real name years ago. age: 40 gender: male appearance: The Raven stands at about 6'0" even, and weighs 200 pounds. He is muscular and extremely well-built, like a bodybuilder. When not in costume, The Raven has light brown skin, being black. He is a rough-looking man, and is bald. His eyes are intense-looking and seem to lack emotion. They are a dark color, and normally stray from eye contact unless someone is doing something that he doesn't like. His face is angular and stone-chiseled, and is covered in scars that arc across his cheeks and nose. His nose is long and broken in several places, causing it to be crooked. He has a small frame that is dominated by a tremendous amount of muscle. He dresses shabbily, usually wearing an old, dirty tee shirt and some ripped-up jeans. While in costume, The Raven is much more at home and much more powerful. He wears a black longcoat that goes down to his ankles, and a black dress shirt, with the collar open. Under this dress shirt is a bulletproof vest made out of spider web (got this idea from god mod). He wears black dress pants on his lower half that leads to a pair of what appear to be loafers but have bottoms like rock climbing shoes, which help him when scaling buildings and running, as they stick to surfaces. He wears a pair of heavy white gloves on his hand. The Raven's most domineering feature is his head; he wears a black coif make of the bulletproof spider silk, along with a steel mask. The mask is designed like a medieval plague doctor's mask. it covers his entire face, and has a pair of hollow-looking eyeholes with a piece of see-through black cloth inside of them so that people can't see his eyes. The mask is taken up by a long, protruding bird beak-like device a foot long, like a plague doctor's mask. Inside of this is a filter like a gas mask's, making gas useless against The Raven. He also wears a wide-brimmed, floppy priest's hat, like they used to wear back in 16th century Europe. powers: The Raven has two powers that make him a deadly enemy. Firstly, he can control sound waves. He can cause objects to go completely silent or make them loud enough to be heard from a mile away. he is known for his Raven Screech, where he fires a powerful screeching noise that sounds like a raven call, deafening enemies. He can also replicate any noise that he's heard recently, allowing him to pretend to be others. So, you literally can't trust any sound when you're wanted by The Raven. Secondly, The Raven has the power to strike any enemy with uncontrollable fear. Enemies will become paranoid, afraid of everyone, distrustful of any other human, and sometimes even commit suicide when under The Raven's gaze. However, this requires The Raven to be focusing on that person, meaning that if he looses focus, he can't make them afraid. Though, considering that The Raven is technically a serial killer and half the world fears him, this isn't much of a weakness. Upon seeing him, many criminals turn themselves in, making him a useful psychological tool.

What do you look like?: I will say that Johnny retains most of appearance since the last time we've seen him, he still retains most of his "Base" features; 5'5 and a broad build Italian/Brazilian heritage, light caramel skin coated with scars from his travels, tidy neck-length black hair, beautiful eyes and face and so on. Though he has really some differences. Firstly he has a more well-built frame, and is well-built from years of working. But he's not in any way like a body-builder. He also grew a wicked looking goatee. So in general he's a bit more imposing.
Most when they look at Johnathon's rather odd wardrobe and style; they will be instantly reminded of a 70's Era Pimp and feels as if he's unnatural/trying too hard, in his eyes; he dresses elegantly with a perfect mixture of fancy-clothes and golden accessories. What makes up most of his outfit is his enormous custom-made (by the finest clothing makers in the world) dark-brown Duster, which has a very western cowboy-ish feel. It goes all the way to his ankles and flows in the wind most of the time, it enshrouds his being most of the time. Coinciding with his former trench-coat, his Duster has several pockets on it's interior and many hidden compartments, he mostly uses the pockets to store his many small items and gigantic bottles of water encase he gets into a fight or needs hydration and hidden compartments for things that are delicate, even though they can easily be found if someone feels around his duster enough. Instead of his normal pimp-hat he had donned several years in the past he wears a brown wide-brimmed fedora. Without feathers, poker cards, shark teeth or anything fancy attached to it.
Other parts and tidbits of his attire include a brown dress shirt worn under his duster, and striped dress pants, because a man has to wear pants. For hands and feet: Leather gloves, and brown boots. Most of the time during the day he wears aviator sunglasses, either star or heart shaped. Another big part about him is his cane, it's short, black and has a very flashy feel to it. It helps him in more ways than looking cool, it has great close quarters combat effectiveness able to knock out any foe in a few good swings.
Now for the gold! Johnny wears several small golden rings around each and every one of his fingers, and an large gold chain around his neck which goes down to his stomach. Also, one of his very front teeth are golden, which shines brightly whenever he does his signature creepy/villain smirk.
What is your personality like?: As I stated before, I regard Johnny as the prime example of a Chaotic Neutral, meaning he still prefers to lead than be lead, and he spits in the face of your silly rules and authority. The years have been fair on Johnny. Though, it hasn't changed him too much other than he's far more amiable than he previously was ((Because honestly; at some points he was just being a d*ck for sake of being a d*ck). Even though his ego is as strong as ever, some could even argue that his age has made him every even more. When in conversation he'll be friendly, to an extent, usually taking any chance to stroke/flaunt his ego. Speaking formally as a gentlemen would. But, he isn't 100% kind, 100% of the time, of course. Nobody should be.
But, when you annoy him, act stupid or just work to p*ss him off you'll get the worst of it. You'll either be insulted, mocked or just told to get the CENSORED away from him. No matter which way you go, you're best off not getting on his bad side. If you're the faint of heart.
But one of the traits he's dropped was his inane habit of taking nothing seriously and joking all of the time. When the time is appropriate he'll be joking, having a laugh- which the "appropriate time" to him most of the time where bullets aren't flying and people aren't dropping to the floor. When things are serious he tends to be apathetic-in a way. He'll keep a neutral emotional-state and mostly won't show too much emotion when somebody else is on the floor dying. Which is another thing he retains, he's very selfish (I.E: Don't expect him to take a bullet for someone he just met) and doesn't show too much empathy towards anyone but those that are close to him.
But the added benefit of a lack of empathy and selflessness means higher awareness/self-preservation skills. Which means he can smell trouble or a bad crowd when most -goody two-shoes- will fail to detect catch up. Not that he'll be able to detect the maniac sneaking up behind him with a knife, he'll just be able to tell when a trap's going to go down. In addition to this he has a nasty habit of not trusting certain kinds of people. Like he'll think the overwhelming nice dude has something under his belt that he doesn't want someone to see, or the rough chick that probably is going to leave him in the cold (get it?). Which means most of the time he relies on himself only, and never puts far too much trust in anyone, not even the closet friends he had for years on end.
Johnny tends to avoid fights as of late. You know that habit of starting fights at the drop of a dime greatly decreases your life-span. Only fighting unless extremely necessary, or when somebody has bruised his ego enough to warrant a fight. When he wants to avoid a conflict he'll talk down the aggressor and encourage going their separate ways instead of wasting their time -and possibly lives- on meaningless brawls. On the subject of violence, he rarely kills. Only killing unless extremely necessary, or when somebody prove they're going to dedicate their lives and every second of it, to hinder Johnny (If somebody did that they'd be better off dead to begin with). Or sometimes accidentally. Either way he prefers to keep the body count to a minimum, as he's killed before and barely gotten away with his life. All of that is thrown out the window when there's dinero involved, willing to ruin a thousand families for a thousand dollars.
Okay, I have plenty more to write about his personality- but you know what? I'm going to save the rest of his personality for IC.
What is your power?: Johnny's brand new ability (IE not something lame like cryomancery) relates to casinos. In fact, Johnny can control anything related to casinos (Poker/Tarot Cards, Dice, Roulette wheels, etc) telekinetically, and do several other things with them. Well, one of his abilities is to alter these casino tools any way he wants to, even if it defies the natural laws of physics, such as he can make a poker card larger, or change a usually dice into a triangle. As long as it's from a casino he can do whatever he wants to it. To state everything he can do with Casino tools, he can control their size, make them razor sharp, telekinetically control them, and bend their shape and color at will. Trust me, I won't do any @ss pulls. If you do any major damage to any of these he will completely lose the ability to control them.
Which is one of the reasons why he's so good at a casino: He just uses his powers to cheat. Which is also why he has quite the ire and is banned from most of the Black Fall Casinos.
Now, this power comes at a cost. Unfortunately his power causes... strange images or hallucinations as he uses them. Like, for a few moments someone's skin will appear to be made out of poker cards, and their eyes will be dice, or a car wheel will appear to be a roulette wheel. This varies depending on how often he uses his powers, so if he restricts himself to small scale use Johnny will only have minor images, large scale... well. In his eyes he'll be absolutely yonkers.
When there's nobody (or when Johnny thinks there's nobody) around special hallucinations of cards will appear. But, these are different since they have minds and personalities of their own, so yeah they'll mostly be like voices in his head that nobody else can hear/see.
Anything else you'd like to tell me?: Johnny is of the Valos Lineage an incredibly wealthy and famous family who get their money from various Night Clubs, Casinos, and places of the kind all over America. When he was young he was cut off from the fortunate for his ego and rather poor decisions. He now uses his powers to flip over every casino he can find in hopes of making a million.

What do you look like?: Drake Blackmore is the very picture of a young attractive boy his age, he stands at only 5"9 feet tall. With his handsome face, broad shoulders, and short unkempt black hair. He is generally healthy and is well-built not like a body builder but he does look pretty strong. His eyes are small, and are a darker shade of brown. Compared to other people his age; his complexion is rather light. In full regards of his racial descents; in his lineage is mixed between British and Korean. Though, his Caucasian side is far more visible than his Asian descents until you take a good look at his eyes.
On clothing, first you'll notice that his attire is mostly composed of black colors-or darker colors not in that emo-way though. On that note; he doesn't have a set style, other than he picks clothes that color-coordinate with his hair. Right now, he's wearing a oversized black hoodie (which has a big one on the front and a white SUPER STAR detailing both across his chest and down the back) and dark blue jeans. With black and white Nike sneakers. As his accessories he wears a dark red and black workout watch, and a noticeable silver chain necklace around his neck with a silver cross at the end of it, with a pair of cheap aviator sunglasses. As stated before his attire generally varies and you may find him wearing something completely different.
What is your personality like?: On the surface Drake may seem like your run of the mill-- immature, stubborn, arrogant and strong-willed aged partygoer- well those words best describe his personality at first. Making jokes at the worse situations, and never backing down from even the challenges that he even knows he can't win. Most situations to him are 'challenges'. Drake likes to be around lots and lots of people, all the time, so you can call him a social butterfly,. Much to the dismay of authority figures: One of the most prominent feature of his personality is his "Civil Rebel" mindset. Not that he'll go around breaking laws and trying to overthrow any and all authority figures: When your petty rules start to get in the way of his goals, or in the way of helping people he'll generally start to break them or find clever ways around them. Speaking of which Drake has a generally 'good' morality, he will never -intentionally- do anything to harm people, innocent people that is. He mostly thinks that most people should be free to do as they please as long as they don't bring hurt people. So, I'd say that in terms of D&D Alignment he'd be Chaotic Good, or Neutral Good.
As you go deeper into his psyche you'll change your first impression of him drastically. You'll discover that he's the most sympathetic, kind, compassionate and good person you'll ever meet. When the situation arises that is dark, bleak and gruesome (even to him) his personality and tone will seemingly change to a more mature and serious tone and will be far more determined to get through the hard times alive and with all of his friends.
What is your power?: When Drake comes in physical contact with another Meta-human any kind he'll sort of replicate their abilities, neither parties get any negative effects from the touch. Key word: Sort of. Now here's the fun part! When he actually gets their ability it'll make him transform into an embodiment their powers physically. Think of it like this: If he touches a lightning meta-human his body will seemingly transform into a being of electricity, like a electric version of the Human Torch. All depending on the powers of whoever he touches. Though he might transform into something far different for meta-humans with more unique/odd powers. In addition; he'll also get some parts of whoever's abilities and some abilities that they don't even have. He can also revert back to his human form at will- though he will lose the access to these powers until he transforms back.
Drake can only replicate powers through touch while in Human form. And he really doesn't have too much control over it, meaning that if he even brushes up against another meta-human or even taps them he will transform into an embodiment against his will. In addition he can also store up to five embodiment from meta-humans he touched in the past, giving him the ability to switch in between them (but first he has to revert back into human form, plus transformations aren't instant)
I'm thinking of transformations for all of your characters as you read this.
Now for drawbacks, first and foremost it should be noted that if he takes enough of a beating while he embodies a power he'll revert back to human form and will have lost all of his stored embodiments (Oh yeah did I note that he can only embody one power at a time?) forcing him to either find another meta-human or you know. Also, some weaknesses of whoever power's he embodies will be far worse while he uses them. As a unexpected side effect to embodiments he will absorb some of the personality, and memories of whoever power he embodies. at first it isn't as bad but the more he uses whoever power's the more he'll change and possibly become a completely different person. Though, he has no clue that he even changes since he never uses his power too much due the lack of meta-humans in his home town, though that will change soon.

What do you look like?: Damon’s hair is light black and short cropped and is paired up with a clean shaven face that shows off his paleness of his skin, which contrasts with his hazel eyes that glimmers with intelligence. He has a somewhat slouched posture during relaxed, casual occasions, but can stand up straight with shoulders broad at 5’11” when the situation calls for formality. The man’s build is average; he isn’t athletic, and he doesn’t have chiseled abs – but living on the run has kept him somewhat active so while he does have some body fat, it isn’t in excessive amounts. He has a worn down, brown leather jacket that appears to be riddled with holes, and beneath that is a simple white t-shirt, also appearing to have many holes in it. In fact, almost every piece of his clothing appears to have holes in it, even the black designer jeans (you probably shouldn’t ask him where he got it). The only exception there seems to be are these rough looking brown leather boots, that may or may not be steel toed, but I’m sure you wouldn’t want to find out. He also seems to have a bandana that’s wrapped loosely around his neck that doesn’t appear to be there for any purpose other than just being there
Damon’s complexion is rather fine actually, save for the occasional blemish or inflammation caused by irritation of the skin. One thing that an observant person would notice about him is that his skin doesn’t show. His hands are usually tucked in his pockets, his neck is wrapped in that bandana, all you can really of him-him is his face, which, if he was working, would appear stern and his brows creased in concentration and forethought. Or he could be smiling, which shows off the dimples in his cheeks. Most often though, if you were to find him on the streets, he would look wary. Almost jumpy, even. Just by looking at him you can tell he isn’t a murderer or a crook though. More like a man with a terrible secret, a burden that weighs him down with every step he makes.
What is your personality like?: Generally analytical and serious in his work place. He is oblivious to the world around him, nothing but pure concentration channeling into whatever he is doing, his intellect practically radiating off of him as his fingers blindingly zipping around the keyboard of his computer. In this train of thought, he has an air of authority that he could never achieve on his own consciously. Almost an alter-ego of his real self. Around company, he comes off as the sweetest, thoughtful gentlemen, which contrasts with the way he dresses. In truth, Damon is in fact an introvert, rather having to sit back whilst in a group or in the company of peers, which are few in between. However, he hides this with the mask of a positive disposition. He lacks assertiveness while in casual interactions, and has maybe one, maybe two friends if he’s lucky, that he can feel comfortable around.
His intelligence is an outstanding factor. What he lacks in physical aptitude, he makes up for being a tech wiz. He even made his own computer and rigged a mobile wifi hotspot, which allows him to cruise the internet as fast as a roadrunner. While on the run, he has gotten by only by a side job that he has (along with stealing occasionally). He is capable of hacking into computers and software, creating and deleting Trojans, and even creates spikes, USB’s and data chips to give to people. Technically, this is illegal, but technically, Damon doesn’t really give a rat’s CENSORED because the law has hunted him down for countless years. It also pays a fortune, hacking for people. To an average citizen that doesn’t know his story, he would be morally depraved, and a sad man. Damon prefers the term morose, or maybe even forlorn. But he does what he can to get by. Despite what the upstanding citizen may think of him, he does have a great deal of morals and he does his best to abide by them. He has managed to go this many years without harming someone again.
What is your power?: Damon is a living hive. Africanized bees infest his body, unbeknownst to the people around him. Inside of him are what could be hundreds upon thousands of bees, and they’re even crawling about in his clothes, which are the cause of the holes his clothes that he has tried desperately to replace, but new holes keep being torn open to allow easy access. He has since given up. It’s also the reason why he wears so much clothing in the first place, and covers his skin. Littered upon his body are holes. It’s like an underground system, from within his abdomen, his legs, his back, his arms, and even in the palms of his hands. The bees, since their initial occupancy, have ravaged much of the internal organs of Damon’s body to point of non-functionality. What remains is his digestive system, respiration system, most of his circulatory system (which damaged much of his nervous system), and his head remains free of infestation. His reproduction system (due to the bees inhabiting most of the abdomen) has been damaged to the point that any actual reproduction would be impossible.
Damon has, to the slightest extent, extrasensory or telepathic abilities that allow him control over the insects that dwells within his body. The bees follow every one of his demands like a mindless robot, like pawns on a chess board. He also releases a specific pheromone that appeals to bees in the surrounding vicinity and lures them to him, and it also negates the pheromone that the queen bee has that keeps other female bees from reproducing. So, if allowed, he could be surrounded by a mass of writhing bugs with pointy stingers of colossal size. However, that would increase the rate of physical and mental deterioration. The fewer bugs he keeps occupied inside him, the means of self-defense decreases, but his humanity would be preserved a little longer. The more he has, his means of self-defense if astronomical, but his humanity would deteriorate faster. So it would only be a matter of time until he “dies” before he completely cracks and goes insane.
Since he is full of bees, he can adopt certain properties of them. Insects have natural strength in comparison to size, so he could be a little stronger. He could command them to hoist him into the air and allow him to fly. If he wanted to, and I doubt he does, he could shoot a stream of bees at the landing skids of a helicopter and send it crashing into the ground (reference). So, depending on the situation, he is capable of being a badass. Obviously, this ability is a mixed bag. A big down side is that, like said before, his body and mind is deteriorating. Body is obvious, with those holes in his body and all. The bees, at a certain point, planted themselves along the central nervous system and at the very edge of the brain stem. Think really hard about what that might turn into. Although he practically has complete control, there are some, incidents, so to speak, that can occur. A great deal of stress and anger can cause him to crack just a bit and make him go batshit for a minute or so. Any means of telepathy or mindreading also upsets the bees in the body which generates stress on Damon as well. So psychic powers can make him crack as well. Although this protects him from mind reading and telepathy to some extent, it is an uncomfortable experience that everyone would wish to avoid.
Anything else you'd like to tell me?: Damon is on the run from law enforcement because of: a. his mutant status, and b. a run in he had a long time ago. An accident occurred that involved the maiming and eventual death of a man that jumped him in a back alley once. Damon snapped, and the screaming that came afterward prompted an emergency call from a bystander. This one memory haunts him to this day. He has also been close friends with Winter Livsdotter since childhood.

Name: Kirra Age: 15 Gender: Female
Appearance: Standing at about 5’6” tall, but with a large number of cat-like attributes, Kirra can be easily described as resembling a sort of humanoid feline. While her figure is generally thin and slender, this does not hide the rippling musculature that is prominent in her limbs and body, nor the obvious strength and flexibility that she possesses. Her face, which is oval in shape, features a strong, angular jaw, and high, well-defined cheekbones. Her teeth, while being an incredibly clean white color, are sharp and pointed, and the canines are unusually large, suggesting a powerful bite. Her eyes, while still keeping a traditional rounded shape and pupil much like a human’s, have pale yellow-gold irises, which reflect light in the dark, similar to most animals. Kirra’s glossy black hair, which is somewhat wavy, falls to the small of her back, and on most occasions, covers her left eye. Her ears are pointed at the tips, and strongly resemble those of a cat, rather than a human. Kirra’s entire body as a whole is also covered with a fine dark pelt, which appears to resemble that of a melanistic jaguar, as a pattern of rosettes containing small spots in the center is present, although it is very faint, due to her fur being so dark that it is almost black in coloration. Instead of possessing toenails or fingernails like a human, Kirra has sharp claws on her hands and feet that can be retracted either partially or fully. She also has a tail, much like the big cat she resembles.
Her usual clothing attire consists of a plain black hoodie without any designs or ornamentation whatsoever, and black drawstrings, with a single pocket on the front. She also wears black boot-cut yoga pants, which are comfortable and still permit movement. These pants also have a hole cut in the back for her tail. Kirra does not wear shoes of any kind, as she prefers to go barefoot. She also avoids wearing jewelry, or any other form of clothing that is brightly colored, preferring to wear black and take pride in the coloration of her pelt.
Personality: Kirra is admittedly not the friendliest mutant one could encounter, and nobody, not even Kirra herself, would deny it. Due to having been in a mutated form for nine years, she has excellent control of her abilities, but has also remained isolated for a very long period of time. Her mentality and intelligence has managed to mature to that of a person her age, but Kirra has not developed any sort of tolerance for other people throughout the course of her life. Instead, she has spent her days hunting down prey, and dominating any other predator that dares to enter her territory. She also has a surprisingly vast intellect, and knows many things others do not, despite not having a formal education. As a result, she has developed a strong sense of pride and arrogance, which makes it difficult to earn her respect. Until a person can perform an act that impresses her, Kirra will typically regard them as inferior or useless. This can make working in a group difficult, due to her reluctance to rely on others for assistance, especially when she believes they are not helpful. It is also incredibly easy to lose Kirra’s favor once it is gained, as she has a tendency to react in a severe manner if her pride is infringed upon.
In reality, this behavioral pattern often leaves people with no desire to befriend Kirra at all, as even when they have managed to get on her good side; she typically continues to regard them in a condescending, scathing manner that can easily be considered rude. She also continues to avoid showing her inner feelings, due to the belief that revealing them makes her appear weak, and her deep hatred of finding vulnerability in herself. While she is capable of compassion and may perform small acts of kindness or mercy, she typically denies that they ever occurred, or covers them up with sarcasm. While complete strangers may be convinced by this, anyone who has been acquainted with her for long enough, even her enemies can easily tell that she is lying about them to hide the truth. Just from these small actions, someone can infer that Kirra does have a sensitive and caring aspect to her personality, deep beneath her stony exterior, and that much of her usual harsh behavior stems from insecurity, rather than savagery or stupidity.
However, despite all of these traits, Kirra has many other aspects of her personality that are purely animal in nature, and cannot be controlled as they are instinctive, rather than rational, although a few of these may also affect her rationally. One impulse that Kirra typically has is to chase any living creature that makes quick or sudden movements, which stems from hunting instinct. Although Kirra may be able to resist doing this, it is typically much more difficult if the acquired target is smaller, injured, or if she is hungry, which is a regular occurrence. She also has a tendency while in the form of a cat to rub against various objects, which marks them with her scent, and therefore as part of her territory. One of the most difficult instincts that Kirra struggles with is the primal desire to remain dominant, which is also closely linked to her rational mind, and therefore is hard to control. When communicating, others must be wary of their own posture, and avoid making eye contact, as both could be seen as a challenge to her dominance. Challenges to Kirra’s dominance also doubles as threats to her pride, and this instinct is also particularly dangerous, as it can result in violence.
Abilities: Kirra has a unique shape-shifting ability that allows her to transform into any animal in the Family Felidae, or into any ancestor of the species in the family. This allows her to become any cat in the world that currently exists, as well as those that are considered extinct. As a result, she has the powers and abilities of all the world’s feline species at her disposal. Even in her normal form, Kirra possesses enhanced night vision, and a stronger sense of smell and hearing. She also displays increased flexibility, and strength and endurance beyond that of a normal human. However, the downside to her abilities is that she cannot change too frequently, as it deprives her body of nutrients and energy, leaving her famished. She can become trapped in a form if she does not meet the minimum requirements to transform, although this is typically to prevent starvation or wasting, and she can change once she gains the means to do so.

Name: Angus Age: 16 Gender: Male
Appearance: Angus is perhaps one of the strangest mutants in existence in regards to appearance, due to the simple fact that he appears to be a patchwork of many different animals in existence. He has horribly mismatched limbs, but is capable of moving without hindrance, due to alterations in the sizes of his arms and legs, and expert coordination in working with legs that do not have similar shapes. He can also use sidewinding as a form of locomotion, which is much faster than walking or running. His body, for the most part, along with his face, resembles that of a Mojave Sidewinder, a brown rattlesnake with darker markings, and keeled scales, which makes them rough to touch, and also take away reflective properties. However, this is only his main coloration, as he may change colors at times, similar to a chameleon.
His head, despite being shaped similar to a sidewinder’s, also has a variety of other animal features. While he possesses retractable fangs, he also has bright tusks similar to a walrus’ located right next to them, which protrude from his upper jaw, even when his mouth is closed. From his lower jaw a second pair of tusks, similar to those of a warthog, curl upward, much whiter than the normal species, and seemingly sharper, as well. Aside from these tusks, Angus has a set of surprisingly clean-looking rat teeth that are located between his fangs on the lower and upper jaw, although the teeth on the lower jaw are located slightly apart to allow room for his tongue. He has three rows of teeth that all look relatively the same, and though small, are hooked with serrated edges, allowing him to hold onto anything he bites. He has a black forked tongue, which he can use to smell. On his head, he has two horns similar to a white rhinoceros, which are very long and sharp. On the back of his head, he has two pairs of horns, the outermost pair being much like that of a Siberian Ibex, and the innermost being like that of an Arabian Gazelle. His eyes, although both the same size and shape have different pupils and vary in color. His right eye appears to be that of a Portuguese Viper, having an elliptical pupil, and an orange-bronze coloration, with pale gold around the pupil, making it seem almost as though the eye were burning from within. His left eye has a pupil similar to a human’s, being round in shape, but possessing an almost metallic sheen similar to a toad’s, which is a dark shade of blue, with an extremely pale blue-white ring around the eye that gives it a strikingly beautiful glow.
Angus has four legs, and can balance on his hind legs, freeing his front legs to be used in grasping things. His hind left leg is much like a red kangaroo’s, however, the fur has coloration similar to an okapi, being a dark shade of brownish-black, with white stripes. His hind right leg appears to be that of a shire horse, and though the coat is grown similar to the horse, the pattern is similar to the fur of an African Wild Dog. His front right leg appears to be built like the powerful leg of a tiger, although the dewclaw is located further down, and bends like a thumb, allowing him to grasp things. The fur pattern on this leg appears to be that of a jaguar with normal coloration. Angus’ front left leg appears to be built similar to Polar bears, but the fur pattern resembles that of a snow leopard. His tail splits into a fork that makes up three feet of his body length, and both forks are tipped with rattlesnake rattles, which can be seen as extremely intimidating.
Angus has on his back two pairs of wings, much in a fashion resembling a dragonfly, although none of these wings resemble one another, aside from perhaps the second pair. The second pair of wings is located directly behind the first, and is slightly smaller. His upper right wing resembles the wing of a ghost bat, the coloration being a pale white, and the membrane being so thin that it is partially transparent. His upper left wing is much like that of a Black-breasted buzzard, being black in coloration, with rusty brown on the back of the wings, and white on the undersides. His lower right wing is like that of an Oleander Hawk-moth, being a mostly green shade with streaks of pale creamy yellow and darker green, and the faintest traces of a brownish-purple on the inner part of the wing. His lower left wing in appearance seems to be that of an Elephant Hawk Moth, which may be considered slightly feminine in appearance, due to being a bright yellow with streaks of pale pink, which may be the cause of a certain degree of grief. Both of his moth wings form a triangular shape when folded. When he flies, he moves about in the air like a ribbon. Angus is approximately 56 feet long, but his body is only three feet in diameter at the thickest part, and most is only two feet. His four legs are relatively small compared to his size, but are just large enough to support his weight when combined by tightening the muscles in his body.
Personality: Angus is incredibly confusing as a person, with a personality that matches his equally discordant appearance. He laughs at the strangest of things, and can be offended by even the slightest of gestures. He is also instinctive, displaying animalistic territorial behavior that can make him dangerous if one is not careful to avoid invading his space. Those who invade his space are attacked brutally, unless they quickly submit, and show that they are not a threat. He is careful to avoid humans, however, and his territory is way out of their way, far from any civilization. Those who have briefly sighted him, who are namely children, state that he is a guardian spirit, protecting the forest from harm, and young girls say he reminds them of Discord, a villain from My Little Pony, although this attribute is regarded with distain. Angus is more likely to appear before children, due to the simple fact that they do not pose a threat to his territory, and are less likely to have harmful intentions. In addition, he also appears to be protective of young creatures as a whole, and is known to avoid attacking around them, and even defending them from threats. To the few who believe in his existence, he is known as the Guardian of Rainier, due to his apparent residence near the volcano.
Abilities: Angus possesses many different physical abilities. Due to the nature of his wings, and the general shape of his body, he is surprisingly fast as a flier, and incredibly elusive in the air, making him difficult to hit with any projectile. His powerful hind legs allow him to deliver extremely painful kicks that can shatter bones and make even heavily-armored assailants cry out in pain. His front legs are no less dangerous. His claws are easily sharp enough to cause serious injury, and a blow from either paw could snap the skeletons of enemies. Angus is capable of changing the color of the scales on his body in a fashion similar to a chameleon, although it is no better than camouflaged clothing, due to the large size of each scale making background patterns more difficult to mimic, and the fact that his legs and wings do not have scales. However, he is able to achieve bright colors such as blue, pink, purple, and yellow, and is able to change these colors rapidly, almost like a television screen. As a result, he typically changes bright colors frequently in an attempt to confuse opponents. His various horns and tusks make charging an effective fighting strategy, and it is very difficult to prevent severe injury when he does so. His bite is also extremely dangerous, due to his powerful jaw strength, and the shape of his teeth, despite the fact that he does not possess venom. On the ground, Angus is capable of moving by sidewinding, and can constrict his enemies if they allow him to get too close. He also happens to be more difficult to affect by using telepathy, due to his animalistic qualities. As a result, despite being unable to manage long-distance attacks, Angus is an extremely dangerous fighter.

Appearance: Storm, for the most part, appears to be a creature formed from wind, water, and lightning, with no definable shape. However, among all the different forms she creates, the two most common are a massive wolf, and a gigantic serpent. Regardless of what shape she takes, two features always remain: glowing pinpoints of blue electricity where the eyes should be, and a similar, larger electric blue core where the heart would be located if the manifestations of wind had possessed hearts. This is usually the only kind of form that is seen by others, which is in itself rare, as they are accompanied by terrible storms, which force people indoors.
In reality, Storm’s physical body resides in the glowing blue electricity in the ‘heart’ of her manifestations, shielded by fierce winds, cold, stinging rain, lightning, and an incredibly thick, heavy shell of calcium carbonate. In a short description, Storm is much like a shellfish. Her shell is divided into two halves, much like a bivalve. It is about the size of a basketball, and has an almost spherical shape, aside from shallow ridges like those of a nut clam, and has a coloration like the outside of a black abalone shell. It is often clamped tightly shut by the creature inside for protection. The inside of the shell is an incredibly beautiful, smooth, reflective blue-green- purple, much like a Haliotis iris shell.
When one opens the shell, they see Storm’s true appearance. She is small, just enough so that she can move around inside her shell when it is clamped shut. She appears to be a hideous combination of a dragon, a guppy embryo, a leech, and a shellfish. She has a wide, flat skull, similar to a monkfish, with needle-like teeth rising from the lower jaw, and a small, thorn-like horn on the tip of the nose. Her eyes are large, bulging, and pure white, as though clouded with cataracts, although she can see through small, elliptical pupils that glow white, further adding to the illusion of blindness. She has no definable neck, as her head seems to connect almost directly to her torso, although at the edges of her mouth, one can see a faint impression of gills. She has a large, round, bloated stomach, which glows blue from within as a result of stored electricity kept inside a special pouch. A small pair of wings, with only three fingers supporting the membrane, and three fingers including a thumb tipping them, is supported on her back, and may be used for locomotion. She has two fins behind her wings formed from a membrane with three bones that move in a way that suggests that they are to allow movement. Her large, muscular ‘tail’ in reality, is much like the foot of a mussel, larger than the rest of her body, and shaped like a scalpel, with tiny ridges around the ridges for gripping. On many occasions, when not generating a weather pattern, Storm will extend her tail from her shell and use it to drag herself along. The ridges allow her to move more readily on terrain inland. She also possesses six long tube-like tentacles on her back and on her stomach, which can be stretched and extended to amazing lengths. Each tentacle is tipped by a small sucker mouth filled with ringed teeth, like a lamprey. These twelve tentacles can produce great suction, and are much more muscular than the rest of Storm’s body, aside from perhaps her tail, and are used to clamp her shell shut with considerably strong force. Storm also has an even longer tentacle concealed in her throat, which has larger, sharper teeth, and is ringed with eyespots that can detect a degree of light. This she can extend outside her shell, to feed. Storm’s skin is incredibly thin, except around the tail and her tentacles, and all of it is clear and transparent. This allows one to see her blood veins, which are filled with bright, vivid blue blood. One can also see all her internal organs, which are a dull, blue-grey. It also allows one to see the glowing electric sac more clearly. One can also see her bones, which are not present in the tentacles or the tail. Her wing and fin membranes are also transparent. Her entire body is coated with a thick, cold slime, much like that belonging to a snail. The texture may often remind one of the refrigerated yolk of an uncooked egg. She also smells strongly like brine.
Personality: Storm has very little to her personality, as she has spent eight years going through a routine of causing devastating storms, and feeding. She is somewhat hostile towards anyone who meets her, because they have an angering tendency to try to open her shell, which tires her out, and exposes her to the elements. When people make her upset, she will hiss at them, and try to zap them with electricity, or blow them away with an errant gust of wind. However, if people get on her good side, she will offer them a present in the form of a beautiful blue-green-purple pearl, which can form over the course of six months from any piece of debris that may somehow get inside. She has plenty of them, due to the constant amount of gravel that she accidently gets in her shell.
Abilities: Storm has the incredibly powerful ability to generate storms by gathering water from clouds and surrounding lakes, rivers, puddles, streams, and oceans. These storms are often severe weather, as she generates powerful winds, and often adds lightning into the mix. In the north, they may also be terrible blizzards due to low temperatures. Storm can manipulate the substances of storms to her will, forming bodies of wind that become manifestations such as gigantic animals, with electric blue eyes and cores. However, these storms are never mild, and in certain conditions, can evolve into tornadoes, or even hurricanes, eventually spinning out of control at some point. These storms cause mass destruction and power outages, and terrify those caught in them. She can also breathe with gills, which allow her to survive on land so long as there is humidity, and even breathe and swim underwater. Storm also has other natural defenses, such as her incredibly thick-heavy shell, which is difficult to pry open by any means. If her shell is pried open, she can use her wings to glide a short distance to safety, although she must later return to her shell, or risk dying from exposure to hazards, or bleeding to death from a small cut. To protect herself, she can use bursts of wind or electricity to ward off foes. She feeds using a tentacle in the back of her throat to sap fluids from both vegetation and animals, and when not moving with the aid of a storm, uses her tail to drag herself along the ground much like most bivalves.
Appearance: Hildegard is much like a Russian desman in appearance, possessing a long, tubular snout, which twitches constantly, small, blind eyes, shorter legs, and a somewhat similar build. However, this is where all resemblance comes to a complete stop. Hildegard’s fur, unlike the desman, is rough, thick, and bristly, sometimes compared to that of a wild boar, and is covered with oil that makes it waterproof. It is a solid shade of black. On Hildegard’s back, she possesses thick, shiny black keratin scales, much like those found on a pangolin. These scales trail down her incredibly long tail, which also appears to be like a tree pangolin’s. Her front legs are like that of a star-nosed mole’s, spade-shaped, with long, hard claws that stray from the normal design in that they are sharp and serrated. These claws allow Hildegard to cut through soil and hard rock, making her one of the best burrowers on the planet. She also has hind legs built very powerfully, which are webbed and tipped with sharp serrated claws. These allow her to run at incredible speeds. Her mouth is filled with ten rows of white, needle-like teeth, which quickly re-grow when lost. She has a long, anteater-like tongue, which is tipped with tiny barbs and can be flicked out like a whip. Her small eyes are white, aside from elliptical irises, which are red from cataracts and are blind. Her snout is covered with dozens of whiskers, and her ears are small enough to be concealed by fur. She is about 3’7” in length, and is around 1’2” in height at the shoulder. Her vocalizations are much like a combination of a bear and a snarling wolf, although sometimes it may be attributed to a sound like a squealing boar, or the howl of a coyote. Reptilian hisses may also occur. Hildegard cannot speak any human language.
Personality: Hildegard is a very dangerous creature, despite possessing intelligence like a human. She does not speak human language, although she can understand it. She lacks a conscience, and most reason, mostly consisting of instinct. Much like a monster from a child’s nightmare, she burrows through the earth, tearing up crops, and has an appetite for blood that is almost insatiable. When she encounters farms or livestock, the numbers of cattle, goats, sheep, or any other farm animal will significantly decrease after she finishes feeding, almost to half the original number. Hilda has cost farmers and herders incredible losses in crops and animals. She is a terrifying creature that has been mistaken for the El Chupacabra, who some believe migrated to New Mexico.
Despite the path of destruction she leaves, Hildegard was not always a monster. When she was three years old, she was a normal child in Germany before she began to mutate. As she changed, she regressed to an animal-like form so terrifying that her parents could scarcely look at her, although they were truly concerned. Later, her uncle, ashamed that his brother and his wife were unable to care for her, took her in. He brought her with him to the Black Forests of Germany, far from civilization, and trained her to search for Bohemian Truffles, which were mushrooms eaten in the area. Surprisingly, Hilda learned very quickly, and sniffed out the truffles much faster than a normal pig or dog could. Two years passed, with Hilda assisting her Uncle in his workshop as a kind of faithful companion, when thieves learned of her existence. When she was five, she was stolen by men who believed her to be a rare and exotic beast. They locked her up in a steel cage, and smuggled her into the US, where she was promptly sold to a farmer in Louisiana. There, after being forced to re-learn some of her German commands in English by her new master, she was taught how to plow fields. Surprisingly, she was very good at this, and managed to plow in one day what would have taken a normal man over a month, even with the aid of machines. She was also taught how to guard, attack, and kill, along with instruction to kill wild boars that destroyed crops. After this, she was re-named Hildegard by the farmer. One day, however, the farmer made a mistake. He accidentally forgot to lock up his pigs one night, and Hildegard, in the middle of guard duty, mistook the domestic pigs for boars. The farmer, angry, tried to beat her, and was promptly torn to shreds. After this, Hildegard escaped, and rampaged the countryside, with no master to control her.
Abilities: Like a furry torpedo, Hildegard burrows through the ground at an alarmingly fast rate, enough to go up to 100 miles per hour, outmatching most cars and vehicles in speed. She can cut through even most kinds of stone, although certain kinds, like granite, can be difficult to go through. She can hold her breath for a very long time, and has incredible resistance to pressure, and to carbon dioxide. This, combined with her waterproof fur, allows her to swim underwater for long periods. She can also smell underwater, by exhaling bubbles and then inhaling them again. Her speed in the water is much less than her burrowing speeds. Hildegard’s running speed is as fast as her burrowing speed, and makes her formidable in a fight. Her sharp teeth and serrated claws, along with her whip-like tongue, cause her to be perhaps one of the most powerful predators on the planet. This is even further supported by her heavily armored body. She also possesses a sense of smell that can allow her to track scents from a continent away, and her sensitivity to vibrations are very powerful, enough to detect minute seismic changes. She possesses a fast metabolism that allows her to heal quickly. She can also hear ultrasound frequencies and most small sounds.
Despite all her strengths, Hildegard has many weaknesses. Like a mole, she is completely blind, and must rely on her keen senses of smell and hearing, along with vibrations, to find her way around. However, this also makes her vulnerable. Like a dog, certain high frequencies hurt her ears, especially at a loud volume, and strong smells can make it difficult to see. Both of these can badly confuse her, and make function almost impossible. In addition, her fast metabolism requires large amounts of fuel to heal her body, and she grows weak without food. She is also not capable of human speech. She cannot communicate with telepathy or thoughts, as she instinctively throws out telepaths. She also lacks dexterity to operate most machinery. She will mindlessly follow anyone who gains her loyalty, much like a dog.

Appearance: Damien, despite his age, does not look much like a teenager at all. He is short, standing only at about 5’0” tall, and just by sight others can judge that he weighs less than a hundred pounds. He is slender and healthy in appearance, but does not have any sort of muscular definition that normally occurs in people his age, and as a result appears far younger than he really is. His large round eyes, with bright turquoise irises, and long, dark eyelashes, give him a doe-eyed expression that is often considered endearing by most people, and also further strengthens the illusion of youth. His oval face is framed by medium-length ash blond hair, with brighter natural golden blond highlights, which falls just to his chin in waves. As a result, Damien overall looks very child-like in appearance. His voice, however, matches his age, and appears to hover around a tenor.
Damien’s usual attire consists of a plain black open cargo jacket that has no logos or zippers, and has four pockets on the front. Beneath this he wears a sleeveless gray linen T-shirt. He also wears plain denim blue jeans, and black sneakers with bright yellow neon shoelaces. Around his neck he wears a highly polished clear quartz crystal, which is strung on a thin silver chain. Regardless of the occasion or what he is wearing, Damien never takes off this pendant, as it has deep sentimental value.
Personality: Damien, much like his appearance, is very child-like in the sense that he is incredibly sweet and innocent in nature. Despite being older, and therefore having been exposed to parts of the world that are considered too intense or violent for younger people, he retains many qualities that people have a tendency to lose as they witness these things. Unlike most people, who may take a long time to call someone a friend, rather than an acquaintance, Damien can consider almost anyone a friend, regardless of their behavior, as long as he senses that they are capable of kindness towards him or his companions. This judgment is not random or blind, however, as it is often extremely accurate, due to his abilities. While these beliefs can often irritate the people Damien tries to consider friends or allies, his stubborn refusal to abandon them often endears him to those he meets, although it depends on the person whether or not it is out of pity or admiration. This is further strengthened by Damien’s loyalty to those he loves or cares about, and his extreme honesty. He also believes that if someone has the capability to do good things that they can, regardless of their past actions. As a result, he often tries to help others by trying to guide them in the right direction, towards better outcomes that benefit society, or the future of the person in question. Overall, he may sometimes be described as having a chivalrous manner, due to his belief in friendship and redemption, as well as his typical avoidance of violence and preferred respectful and polite manner.
However, despite appearing naïve, Damien is also very clever and intelligent. He uses his creativity to think of solutions to problems that arise, as well as how to outsmart or confuse his enemies. Although for the most part he is passive, and prefers to avoid violence or arguments, he can be surprisingly good at debating or fighting, due to the fact that his empathy gives him the power to sense when an opponent is lying, or how they may behave or react. While this gives him great leverage with assailants who feel great emotional turmoil, it does not work on people who do not feel doubt regarding their actions, or those with mentalities such as psychopathy. Damien’s preferred battles are completely verbal or emotional, and he possesses a great talent for revealing hidden truths regarding his opponent’s inner mind. He is also able to uncover emotional wounds, and give people the capability to heal them, if it was not possible originally, although this requires the active effort of the person, as Damien cannot fix the problems himself.
Abilities: Damien has very few abilities that could be considered actually useful in a physical fight. However, this does not mean that he does not have many useful powers. He is gifted with the power of empathy, which allows him to sense the emotions of others around him, although he cannot manipulate or change them. This empathy extends to allow him to detect the overall condition of the environment around him, as part of sensitivity to nature, and he can also understand the emotions of animals. After encountering a person that he extensively focuses using his powers on, he can also memorize that person, or the way that they seem to feel. This allows him to perform the act of path finding, which allows him to track that person via a strange sort of pull, although the nature of the pull is difficult to determine. The same ability can give him the power to detect connections between two people, namely relatives that spend time together frequently, as he often senses something familiar between them. Although he cannot manipulate the emotions of other people, Damien can detect when they are lying, and can also determine, through a certain degree of probing, the nature of emotional wounds or memories. While these cannot be altered, Damien has the ability to open the minds of others, allowing them to find ways to heal, although the process takes a long time, depending on the person, and he cannot do this unless he can manage to make eye contact. Two abilities Damien has that have nothing to deal with his empathy, include heightened senses of smell and hearing, and the unique skill that makes him omni-linguistic, which allows him to speak any known human language, although he can only read and write in English. This is thought to be because he somehow manages to learn the language from the local people he passes by.

What do you look like?: Winter possesses dark skin and pale-sea-moon eyes. Her short, coarse hair, held back by a meek black band, curls forward to cup the back of her skull and terminate just above her shoulders. Her tense, suspicious posture recalls one who hides their confidence under a drooping shell. The muscles of her face seem naturally resistant to change. Thin lips appear perpetually half-puckered, allowing quiet breezes of air to pass through the small dark gap between them. Winter's short, stubby nose complements her flat round ears, and her frozen eyes seem to cloud with a gaze paradoxically intense in its stark blandness whenever Winter wishes to guard her thoughts. Her thin, bony shoulders oscillate lazily with her abnormally slow breaths, as if she takes great care in assuring that her lean skeleton and the springy muscles it host do not suddenly snap or fall to shambles.
What is your personality like?: Winter looks upon most other people as one might a tennis ball dropped freshly from the mouth of a salivating retriever. She is not afraid to steal, lie, or cheat to benefit herself, and prefers many of these activities to face-to-face contact. Her moral compass suggests larger crimes only when absolutely necessary to safeguard her own interests. She is not without friends and acquaintances, but loathes to make new ones; enemies, she likewise avoids. Winter fancies that she would enjoy it if everyone on the planet talked it over and decided to leave her be for the remainder of her life, though she unknowingly relies upon the presence of others as a negative model on which to guide her life.
What is your power?: Winter has a curious, volatile ability of vivification. Given the proper amount of concentration, and prolonged contact, she can imbue a substance or mixture of substances with a peculiar quality resembling sapient life. Affected objects display primitive methods of thought, locomotion, and sometimes even communication. Winter discovered this ability one nightmarous morning at the age of eight, when the sandbox she was drawing pictures in shifted and yawned, attempting to swallow her whole. Ever since, Winter has been terrified of her ability and has revealed it to no one save one Damon Viscous, a dear friend ever since childhood.
There is another aspect to her power, as well. As whatever Winter is channeling energy into gradually comes to life, she herself begins to take on its properties. For instance, if attempting to vitalize a pool of water, Winter herself would slowly begin to liquefy in the process. During the few (and far between) tests she has conducted on her power, Winter has learned that there is a sort of middle ground where she and the host substance can share beneficial properties without destroying eachother. However, due to severe lack of practice, she has not yet learned how to maintain this equilibrium and is horrified at the thought of accidentally going too far and solidifying into stone, or perhaps becoming air particles and being scattered across the Earth by a stray breeze.

What do you look like?: His original appearance was that of any other human. He was about six feet tall and had long black hair that went to his noes. The most distinguishing feature is that he had red eyes, which inherited into his later form, which will come into play in the next few posts(Should this character be accepted). His mutant form is a the product of the chromosome Z. Once activated, it will set off explosively. This chromosomes can be activated by extreme rage, fear, or sadness. The affects of this chromosome are permanent. It alters the body, not into some sort of green rage monster like hulk, but a different form of green rage creature. A literal lizard man. Similar in size and strength to the one in the latest Spiderman movie (No, He's not based off Dr. Connors, I simply used him as an example to give you all a better idea). However, his scale color is ash black with light grey underbelly, his entire upper half of his body is covered in crocodilian like armor, and is very strong, however, it slows him down. His legs would be altered to the point where it has three areas of movement, the joint at the hip, the knee, and at the ankle, which has lengthened. His legs are very heavily muscled to support a larger, heavier, and more heavily muscled body, and also to provide a good amount of speed for a short distance. His arms have lengthened to provide stable walking on all fours, and his snout has also extended, and new teeth have grown in to replace the human ones. These teeth are larger and strong, meant for crunching through things... Like bone. However, his mouth is a double threat, having a second set of teeth behind the first, these being smaller, but far sharper, and are great for cutting. His fingers would change into claws, and they would be what you would expect, sharp. He doesn't know how strong he is, and cant control his primal abilities yet, and is learning new things about himself every day.
What is your personality like?: Originally, Hiss went by the name Michael (CURRENT STATUS-UNKNOWN), who was a friendly, and outgoing guy. He lived by the phrase "Forgive and forget!" and never sought out revenge. However, after his change, the foreign species took over in more than just appearance. He became darker, he has serious anger issues, and will hold grudges and seek revenge for whatever reason. If somebody stole a salt shaker from him, he would treat them as if they killed his parents. However, he is loyal beyond belief, and, despite his usual personality, a little bit of Michael is still in there, and can be brought out with some acceptance, despite how hard it would be to accept a giant lizard/man/crocodile.

Hiss, unlike most mutants, is not combat or mentally orientated. He is primed to survive. Like some other mutants, Hiss is extremely strong, and extremely large. Weighing in a 1955 pounds, stands nine to ten feet tall, and measures up to a length of nineteen feet from noes to tail, half of which, is tail. While deadly, Hiss true ability is adaptability. As he surroundings change, he will change with them. If you set him on fire, he will grow heat resistant. If you force him underwater, his skin will change to absorb oxygen from the water like a frog. If you put him in a desert, he will go without water as long as a camel on half the supply. He is made to survive. That's why he is so frequently studied by scientists to find out just how he does it. He has also shown to be immune to genetic mutations such as cancer, and almost immune to every known disease. Hiss hasn't been recorded to catch a cold since his switch to cold blood. The down side of this extremely sped up gene therapy, is that it can change fast at first, but every adaptation is temporary in the conditions are set to a certain point, and time from one adaptation to another can take hours, perhaps even days to change (RECORDED BY DR. ███. SEE: Addendum HISS-B). However, Hiss is partially reptile, and the human and reptilian brain renders him very unintelligent, having bad memory, and constantly speaking in the third person. However, exposure to others has lead to him beginning to use the first person, words such as 'I' have been heard from his maw. Although these occurrences are rare. Hiss also shows the ability to regenerate severed limbs, cuts, scratches, etc. how long this process take depends on how bad the injury is. His tail, for example, has shown the ability regenerate entirely after beig severed in a span of four months. Hiss has also been noted to rely primarily on solar power, and required an hour a day every day in the morning to gain enough energy to begin the day, and as a reptile by blood, giving him a slow start to most sudden activities.

Addendum HISS-A: A study conducted to see what gender Hiss actually was, and to see if the subject could actually change from male to female. While the gender was confirmed, change between genders was quickly denied and when forced tests were attempted, the subject replied twice as harsh, breaking three ribs in one Class-B staff, and nearly disfiguring the other. Dr. ██████ suffered a broken arm in collateral damage from a flying chair. No punishment was held on on the subject, as the operation was not approved to begin with.
Addendum HISS-B: Dr. ███ tested Hiss' adaptive capabilities by submerging the subject in water for three days. The subject was tended to and kept completely healthy while submerged. On the fourth day, Dr. ███ removed the subject from the water, and placed it in the open arid air. The subject barley made it by for the first few days. Dr. ███ at one point turned on the sprinklers out of fear for the subject's health. The subject eventually adapted to suite the desert's conditions. Dr. ███'s notebook recordes six days to reach optimal performance in the desert.

What do you look like?: Well to start he has a dark complexion. Think Italian or Greek for example. He has medium length dark brown hair that’s typically a mess. He has a short narrow nose with minimal flare, medium spaced Brown Eyes, a thin lipped mouth and a nice clear complexion. He’s often seen with a nice even pencil thin mustache and other than that he’s always clean shaven. He’s about 5’7” and of a medium build. So in terms of sized he’s quite average. While he’s not especially strong or works out he has a natural sort of Athleticism. That means he’s fairly flexible and can hold his own when he’s stuck in a tough situation. But often times he does need help in a physical fight, witch in most cases is provided by one of his hired body guards.
As for his preferred style of clothing, well he tends to dress conservatively despite the fact he’s a well off man. That means he’s typically seen in a standard black or gray three piece business suit, never blue or pinstripe. Whenever he wears casual cloths he likes neutral colors as well. Beige, brown, black, grey, and white are all you’ll ever see him wear. And as a side note he’s always wearing a hat to cover his hair. His hair is the only unordered thing in his life he has direct control over.
What is your personality like? : Ceyx is a normally polite person who respects those above him and those in positions of power. While he normally wont associate with those he deems below him he won’t go out of his way to abuse them or harm them. He just ignores them. In most cases they are folks he sees as degenerates or criminals in the making or those whom as he sees useless. So in short he’s an elitist of sorts. However he does enjoy helping those who are genuine need or those who are victims of circumstance. So yes he will help the homeless, but if he seem them doing some such as stealing or mugging someone for money he won’t. Simple.
What is your power: His mind is a living Computer. He’s able to perform thousands if not millions of calculations per second. Not just simple mathematical operations, but actually run programs in his head. It’s a bit complex to explain however, as not even himself fully understands it yet. He can establish a mental contact with any computer and have immediate access to its contents. Although like any other user he needs the proper passwords for any restricted file and sections. He can however attempt the manually crack any given password, but like most encryption breaking devises this takes time. As a result of have a computer for a brain he prefers order in his life wherever possible. While he has learned to adapt to chaos he can and has gotten overwhelmed by it. Whenever this happens he completely shuts down and will not respond to anyone or anything till he’s sorted out things in his mind. But as long as he can find a pattern within the chaos he can survive While his mind is running at a high capacity most of the time many things require an immense amount of concentration from him, to the exclusion of everything else around him. This happens whenever he’s connected to a computer via his mental link or whenever he’s processing a lot of data. Like when code breaking. He’s also very susceptible to power surges when connected. While his not in direct contact with it, if a computer has a surge the effects will ripple back and cause some sort of damage. Anything from knocking him out to temporary brain damage. He has an ability to repair damage to his nerve cells, but only them.
It is unknown at this time if he can be infected with a computer virus. While he hasn’t yet the possibility that it could happen hasn’t been eliminated.
Anything else you'd like to tell me?: While his mind works like a computer he is still human. He still has emotions. I guess he’s kinda like Spock, but not as sarcastic. OR as emotionless. It’s like an organic computer based AI.

What do you look like?: Winter is dark-skinned and wears her black hair in a simple braid. Her eyes are a silver blue. She looks to be around 29 years of age, is of a lean, average build, and stands at around 5’6”. On the whole, the only remarkable thing about her is her sarcastic, unimpressed stare that she is quick to direct at anyone (acquaintance or otherwise) who pays her any unwelcome attention.
What is your personality like?: Winter has grown up with functional but neglectful parents and rejects every notion of friendship or cooperation. She is not afraid to steal, lie, or cheat to benefit herself, and in fact would prefer doing so rather than talk to someone face-to-face. However, she retains a moral compass and would prefer not to hurt anyone who does not deserve to be hurt – though if the time comes, she would do this to ensure her own survival. Winter is relatively content with how her life is right now - or rather, as content as a street-walker can be - suppressing all curiosity (for the moment) related to her ability.
What is your power?: Winter is a Life Catalyst. Given the proper amount of concentration, and prolonged contact, she can bring a substance to life – more energy and focus is required the farther away she is from said substance. This happens very gradually and the effect is reversed when Winter breaks concentration. She discovered this ability one nightmarous morning at the age of eight, when the sandbox she was drawing pictures in shifted and yawned, attempting to swallow her whole. Ever since, Winter has been terrified of her ability and has revealed it to no one.
There is another aspect to her power, as well. As whatever Winter is channeling energy into gradually comes to life, she herself begins to take on its properties. For instance, if attempting to vitalize a pool of water, Winter would slowly begin to liquefy herself in the process. During the few (and far between) tests she has conducted on her power, Winter has learned that there is a sort of middle ground where she and the host substance can share beneficial properties without destroying eachother. However, due to severe lack of practice, she has not yet learned how to maintain this equilibrium and is horrified at the thought of accidentally going too far and solidifying into stone, or perhaps becoming air particles and being scattered across the Earth by a stray breeze.

You're in luck, it's hard to answer this sarcastically. Well, let's see, I can control water. It flows through my veins like it's blood and with a little bit of effort I can quite literally sweat up a storm. So other than the amazing ability to wash my hands at any given moment, I've not got much use for my powers unless I have a device to channel them through. Like you know, if I had a gun, rather than shooting bullets I could turn it into a high powered water jet that cuts through steel, or if I had a staff I could twirl the water all around me and create vortices and hurricanes. The possibilities are quite endless, but let's hope you never have to experienve them, shall we?

When I said the thing about narcisism and OCD, I meant it. Most importantly, GATTACATATVARFA or whatever it was.
Also, I understand that playing a character that is designed to be a comical psychopath is very hard to pull off without sounding like a ten year old. Other than that, I do solemnly swear that I will not try to turn this RP into an unitteligent rambling of someone who thinks he's funny. I promise that I will not overuse humor, and any use of humor will either be well thought out or part of my characters personality. I absolutely will not crack jokes willy nilly. I understand that comedy is an art, and that this RP isn't designated as a comedy, therefore I will only interject with light dark humor. I promise that none of my posts will seem to have come from the mind of a ten year old or below.

I don't know about this... He's a bit too crazy for my taste. I'm not a fan of the crazy comedian archetype... Id suggest taking the scitzo out as its near impossible to write as properly. Also, if your character is going to go to Area 51, im seriously going to loose my patience with a psychopath.

Appearance: when not mutated, Black Mamba is about five foot eight and 140 pounds. He is thin and not very muscular. His skin is of an olive complexion. He has dark rims under his eyes like most Greeks though his eyes are... Another story. They're snake's eyes, with slitted pupils and yellow whites. If you look very closely at his skin, it is made of tiny scales. His canine teeth are exceptionally long, like that of a snake's. His tounge is forked. His hair is an oily black and is usually kept short. He wears a black suit with a red tie and shiny black shoes.
Personality: Achates is Not the person you want to get in a fight with. He has a very long memory, and holds grudges forever. He has a taste for vengeance as well. Most people who cross Achetes usually end up dead or in the witness protection program. He is a sociopath as well; human lives mean absolutely jack squat nothing to him, nor do the lives of his accomplices matter. He is completely cold hearted, having not an ounce of love or mercy in him.
Powers: Achetes' not the guy you want to mess with for two reasons; one, he doesn't hesitate to kill and two, he turns into a giant snake. Achetes has the power to transform into a gigantic serpent, about thirty feet long and a few hundred pounds. His scales are black with purple marking on him like that of an anaconda. He still has a pair of short, rather stubby arms that help him to move around faster. Even without his arms, Black Mamba can slither at about twenty miles an hour, faster than usain bolt runs, so don't expect to outrun him. His scales in this form are tough and resistant to damage, though high-callibur bullets will still harm him. His long fangs in this form stick out of his mouth and drip venom. One bit from him and your heart will stop in a few minutes, though if you get near his mouth, he will normally swallow you whole or tear you into pieces. He is insanely strong in this form too and can easily pick up a small car or construct an enemy.
He has weaknesses, but if I told you them, then there's be no challenge to fighting him, now would there?
