Willow, Nicole, Sandy & Toby
After the fight, all the animal-metas had been extremely tired, due to having fought for the entire duration of the battle with the Oozium. Some of them had been prepared to completely collapse, but others were merely drowsy. As a result, they had worked out a special arrangement as soon as they had gotten to the dorms and eaten something substantial. Considering that there were four in the group, they arranged so that while two people slept, the other two would guard their rooms, so as to prevent the traitor wandering around the school from murdering them in their sleep. The first two people on guard duty were Sandy and Nicole, with Sandy guarding Toby's room, and Nicole guarding Bones. As it turned out, Sandy and Bones both had rooms very close in proximity, and considering that Nicole did not have an assigned room, she picked the next empty room, which was right across from Bones. Toby was a relatively short walk down the hallway, and while it wasn't close enough for the guards to talk to one another, they could see each other from a distance.
Toby hadn't been seriously wounded, his skin being so thick that projectiles that should have cut him only made purple bruises. However, his Gamma Burst had drained his strength, so he desperately needed a good night's sleep in order to handle whatever else was in store. The more rest he had, the sooner his focus, as well as his powers, could return. As it turned out, he was a snorer when he was in deep sleep, and although his door was closed and locked, Sandy could still hear it. It probably had a lot to deal with his pug-like face, considering that it could restrict airflow, the way the snout was shaped. For some reason, though, he never seemed short of breath, so perhaps he breathed through his skin, like a frog did, or via some other means. Sandy had the suspicion there was something under his mane that helped. Regardless, he made noise when he was asleep, and because she was right next to the entrance of his room, it was very audible, and hard to ignore. She had gotten to see what his room looked like, though. Toby had personalized it with tons of posters for various things, mostly just little images of instruments. It was clear he liked opera, as he seemed to have a CD collection of different songs that no doubt were songs of that category.
Bones, while she had the ability to withstand them, had become mentally and emotionally tired from using her powers, as well as physically. The entire way back from the sewers, she had been withdrawn, silent, and flinched away from anyone who got too close to her while walking. Having not needed Crystal to use her powers to heal her, she still had wounds on her arms and on the palm of her hand. In fact, had someone attempted to take a look at her injuries, she seemed likely to react in an aggressive manner towards them, having snapped irritably when her friends tried to talk to her. Nobody gave her a choice when they decided who would rest first, she was cranky when she didn't get rest, and that made her hard to be around. When Bones had went into her room, Nicole had barely gotten a glimpse before she shut the door and locked it behind her. From what she could tell, Bones had personalized her room with darker shades, and even how much light she let into her room was a lot less than what she thought was normal. Apparently, Bones didn't like anything bright, not the shades (or colors, for people who can see them), or even the light present. Her room was gloomy and dark, somewhat depressing, in all honesty. It also reeked of her blood, likely because Bones' personal scent was much like it, as well as the chalky smell associated with dry bones. The whole thing was a bit macabre, in Nicole's opinion. It seemed that until she had met the animal-metas, Bones didn't interact socially with others on a regular basis, a loner, most definitely, and extremely secretive, if she wasn't just plain reclusive. Either way, Nicole was sure Bones would be back to her usual self when she was in a better mood to tolerate other people.

Livvy had quite the day thus far: there was the weird awakening in the creepy lab, the weird encounter with the blob thing in the creepy sewers and now the weird wandering of the hallways in the creepy school.
This certainly wasn't like any school she'd ever seen. For starters, it was the biggest thing she'd ever seen. The little girl was simply impressed with its magnitude, how the campus seemed to stretch in all directions: she found the strange glass dome to be very interesting, and wondered how they cleaned it. Back home, her mom made her spray the windows with Windex and then wipe them down, so she figured they probably had somebody who did that here.
"That's a lot of Windex," Livvy muttered off-hand when she first emerged outside, taking in the huge glass ceiling. Mr. Teddy was likewise impressed. She and Dragonfly had been getting along well, and she wanted to go see him later and find out more about this place, but at the moment, she was kinda tired. Livvy walked down one of the hallways, which just seemed....abandoned. The sunlight drifted through the windows of reinforced glass, but there was no movement to break its path, no other living things aside from the kids. Livvy walked around, occasionally calling out to see if someone was there, but she never got a response. Empty. Bullet holes riddled a wall, which was stained crimson, and Livvy giggled.
"Look, Mr. Teddy. They had a food fight! Wonder where they got the food from, maybe it's still going on." Livvy, however, knew deep down the food fight was over. This place was a ghost town. She found an empty dorm room and, in an uncharacteristically bold move, decided to claim it for herself. She was feeling awfully tired, and couldn't really figure out why: must've been tuckered out from dealing with the scary thing from earlier. It was all so dreadful, and Livy suddenly very vulnerable in her randomly selected dorm room. She scampered over to the door and locked it, then checked under the bed and in the closet and in the dresser and, well, practically everywhere. The room was pronounced clear, and Livvy kicked off her tennis shoes (without untying them: the horror) and grabbed her beloved bear. She was unconscious roughly two seconds after she hit the mattress, thoughts of Ooziums and where her parents were mercifully forgotten.
When Livvy awoke, she was keenly aware of it being dusk, and felt a little off-kilter, as she always did at sunset. Livvy sat up, rubbing the sleepiness out of her eyes, and looked around. No Oozium. Whew. Livvy grabbed her bear, retied her shoes and set out, taking her bookbag with her. Just in case she did find the classroom where, presumably, there was a teacher waiting for her. Livvy didn't set any other of her belongings down, so she wasn't too worried about coming back to this specific room: although, curiously, the little girl would've been able to find her way back exactly if she did-just as she found herself exactly where she'd emerged from the sewers, without consciously realizing it.
"Mr. Teddy...I think I'm kinda hungry." she realized her lunch had been interrupted earlier by the presence of the scary nightmare thing, and decided to find some food. Livvy began looking around for the cafeteria, not entirely sure of where it was. This whole place looked like it had endured one giant, massive food fight, and at one point, she saw the realest looking water gun she'd ever seen in her life lying around. Livvy picked it up and put it in her backpack (this thing must have a ton of water in it, 'cause it is really heavy), intending to put it in the Lost and Found later.
After, perhaps, an hour or two of wandering, Livvy had seen some of the school's marvels, but had only begun to scratch the surface. At one point, she saw a guy and a girl in a room together, playing pool. She giggled quietly and watched for a minute, thinking that if a guy and a girl were hanging out like that, they had to be boyfriend and girlfriend, but, sadly, did not get to watch any kissing. She continued on, eventually managing to find the kitchens: she sensed it was close to where the loud whooshing noise had been, earlier, just higher up. Maybe it was the sound of the ovens or something. Livvy walked closer, peeking inside, and noticing a couple of kids talking and one kid cooking. There had really been a food fight here, which made sense, 'cause this was where all the food was. Livvy twirled one of her ponytails, listening for a minute. They were talking about something that resonated very tightly with Livvy: they were gonna go on an adventure. Her insatiable wanderlust and seeming inability to get lost made her a rather skilled explorer, and Livvy immediately forgot about her growling stomach and gnawing hunger. This was gonna be so cool! Livvy almost stepped out to ask if she could go, but was suddenly struck with a realization: they were big kids. She was a little kid. She remembered once back at her school, the big kids had all been playing a game and she wanted to join, and they wouldn't let her. Maybe...maybe this would be like that. Livvy crouched behind the corner, mulling over her options. Hmm...maybe...maybe they wouldn't let her go, but she could just follow along behind them! Yeah! That way they couldn't say no, but she'd still be on the adventure and stuff! The usual thrill of going on an adventure began coursing through her, and Livvy found a wide smile lighting up her face, the silver sparkle in her eyes being accentuated even further. She sat down, quietly waiting for the group of kids to leave. Then, she'd probably grab a snack or something and follow behind them, anxious to see what the mansion had in store. Livvy felt a little guilty for not saying anything, 'cause her friend Lily was there, but most big kids you really couldn't trust, especially in groups. Except for Dragonfly, who seemed really nice. She felt a pang of loneliness, and wished she could go and get him, but there was no telling when these kids would take off, and he'd understand. Maybe later she could go back down into the sewers (kind of a scary prospect, but she knew it wouldn't be bad with him around) and tell him all about it.

Drake, Jake, Lin & Lily
Celo The Impossible wrote:
"The food smells great! Could I have some?"
The moment when Crystal stepped in, everyone looked at her curiously. Her presence hadn't exactly interrupted their conversation. All Crystal wanted was some food, and no one could hold it against her. Lily had already detected Crystal, due to her new Meta-human detecting powers. Jake was the first person to act since he was the one who was preparing food for. He smirked warmly at Crystal and stood straight up, and took a step back from his seat. "I'll get right on that." Perhaps his job here at the cafeteria is far from over. Before he goes on any adventures with these three, he would have to attend to the students, preparing food for everyone. After he stood up, he walked all the way back to the kitchen. Hopefully, Crystal will want some of the chicken he made for Drake and Lily. The second he got to the kitchen, he started up the stove-tops and got some chicken from out of the freezer. Before going on to cook the chicken.
After Jake left, their conversation went silent. Drake leaned back in his chair and put his hands behind his back, and looked relaxed. Right now he could go for a cigarette, he suddenly got that urge again. However, he was unsure of what anyone would say about it. Plenty of people don't like the smell of cigarette smoke. He was going to hold off on that cigarette, respecting these two kind ladies he's been left with. He crossed his arms and smiled a bit at Crystal, "Hey, Crystal. How are you doing?" Drake asks kindly and in his usual way. He would had to thank Crystal for healing him up earlier today, "Oh yeah, by the way; thanks for fixing me up before. I thought it'd look like a hill-billy missing all those teeth, heh." He started laughing a little bit. Before he abruptly stopped and started playing with his thumbs.
"I don't think we've met before, I'm Lin." Lin causally introduces herself to Crystal. While she was a bit uncomfortable around these strangers, they all seemed like nice people. She could easily see herself being friends with them.
Drake decided to go back to their old conversation, of talking about their plans of heading to the mansion and going on an adventure. He stopped leaning back in the chair, and sat straight. "So, Lil, after Jake gets back with Crystal's food; we'll head out and start this reconnaissance mission?" He put emphasis on reconnaissance. He was hoping that he can get Crystal along, after she eats.
"Yeah, yeah. Let's just tell someone before we go... Because, it'd be even more stupid to head there without saying a word..." Lily says in response. By even more stupid, she means that it's a stupid idea to head there, in the middle of a rainstorm too. There could be anything lurking in there. The only reason she's going is because she believes that she needs to specifically direct Drake's group, or they'll mess something up and get into trouble. At this moment, Lily detected another Meta-human approached, and she sensed that Meta-human was a powerful one. Immediately, Lily looked in the direction of this new presence immediately, she didn't see anyone in the immediate area, but she certainly knew someone is there. Hiding in the shadows, it really made Lily uncomfortable. But, the joke's on them; since Lily can detect Meta-humans once they're in range, no exceptions. She dipped down in her chair a little bit and whispered to the rest of the group, hopefully so that nobody can hear her, "Guys, there's someone watching us... Don't, um, panic..." She was trying to avoid attracting the stalker's attention until she thought of something.
"Where?" Lin's head darted around nervously, looking around. Pretty obvious that she knew that she knew someone was watching them. Because her Telepathy was so weak, she couldn't use advanced techniques used by the advanced Telepath. In order to actually read someone's mind, she would have to know they're actually there. "What should we do?" She asks.
Drake immediately raised an eyebrow and looked around, curiously. He was the least bit concerned about someone stalking them from the shadows. It is because of his care-free attitude, and the belief that they can take on anyone. The stalker also didn't count on Lily's ability to detect Meta-humans. "Hmph. How about we go have a little lookie...?" Drake says charmingly, with a smirk on his face. "Um, where is this ruffian so I can... Uh, look?" He was going to say fight, but he was half-expecting a fight here. The other half was just expecting it to be someone scared, or it could be Dragonfly. His friend Dragonfly did say he has the ability to turn invisible. Just in case, he began a transformation into his new form, supplied by Lily. His right arm began glowing red, as it was engulfed with a dim, neon, electronic-like light. Drake's eyes started glowing red too, leaving no details out other, than a dim red light. With Lily's Pseudo Meta-Human energy coating these limbs, he felt powerful. Even though, he doesn't have any offensive abilities at all in this form. Only the ability to Super-charge Meta-humans like Lily can. "... Bet I can shoot a death ray."
Even though Lily has no ideas on what to do, she cautiously thought about something. It would be absolutely stupid to just walk over there without thinking. Lily had feared that this person could be someone broken out of stasis. She got herself nervous again, and the stress affected her thinking pattern. She paused and came to her senses. There's only three frail girls here, and one big strong guy that's a powerful Meta-human--- But, it'd be even more stupid to send him in alone. It'd be best if they both go to take a little look. "C'mon Drake. Let's go take a look...." Lily says, sounding very nervous. She pointed a finger in the direction of this new Meta-human.
"Cool. Wish us luck. Heh." Drake says laughingly, before he started walking in the direction where Lily was pointing. Causally.
"You two be careful... I'll be right here..." Lin hesitantly says. She was going to stay here. She wasn't that brave, not having an offensive ability of her own. If anything went wrong, she was going to run fast as she could and never look back.
Lily stops dead in her tracks and hesitantly says, "So, um... I think we should stop here, I'll take it from here, Drake. Thanks." Lily felt like she should give fair warning, as they were close enough to the Meta-human. Barely a few feet away, Drake stopped too and crossed his arms. Giving the notion to "take it from here". She didn't want to rush straight at the Meta-human because that'd be unnecessarily risky. And, she can easily sense the person so it'd be impossible for them to run away. Lily spoke to the person hiding, politely, "Whoever is there, we know you're here... So can... You come out...?"
Hopefully, this won't be another stalker.
Johnny & Gabe
Celo The Impossible wrote:
"Oooh! I love pool! Could I join?" She smiled, looking at Johnny and Gabe, "Oh an I'm Lexy- I don't think we've met before. Then again I meet a lot of people so some might not expect me to remember with all the people, but... Nope, I don't think I've met you two before."
"No. We have not met before." Gabe says to Lexy laced with venom.
Immediately upon noticing this newcomer just walk in and ask to play Pool, the two Valos siblings dropped everything and stepped closer together. After a quick second, they were standing side by side, looking directly at Lexy. Johnny was still holding the pool cue in hand. This was one of the no-named girls that just appeared out of no where, and the one that they specifically said they weren't going to trust, and suspect for being this traitor. Initially they shared the very same frown and rather hostile look. However, they both thought very similarly on this matter: the best course of action was to not give away that they didn't trust (Or like her). Their frowns flipped over and formed, blatantly fake, smiles. They were trying to look friendly and kind, and failing spectacularly. Then they just gave up and went back to their usual facial expressions. Johnny personally didn't care if Lexy figured out their body language anyway. He didn't see an ally in the girl at all. He saw her as a hidden threat. That was one of the things that Johnny was careful of. He was more always more afraid of the people that plot against him and his family in private. Which is why he always knew that Claire would never be a threat to him--- She's just too stupid and hard headed to actually consider subtlety for a change. Only thing she knew was charging head first shooting lightning--- Which amused Johnny, since she would be useless without her powers. Of course, Lexy didn't have to know this, all she had to know was that they were two Brazilians playing pool in a room that's been destroyed, and they're friendly. For now, they were going to keep their abilities and useful skilled closed to Lexy.
While Johnny thought to himself, Gabe gave Lexy the rundown. Lexy appeared to be much younger than the two of them. Like she was just done with puberty a few minutes ago. Lexy generally looked pretty unremarkable (And completely forgettable) with little interesting about her appearance or attire. Gabe did find Lexy a bit cute, but the paranoia outweighed that. "It's one of those no-names..." Gabe whispers to Johnny, being the least bit subtle about it.
"Shut up, Gabe, and let me handle this..." Johnny whispers back. He leaned over the pool table and smirked like he was confident and egotistical. Before Lexy could act on anything, Johnny spoke to Lexy, "Why hello there, I'm Johnny and this is my sister Gabriela, or just Gabe. You can play some pool with me, we were just playing a little bit of 8-ball Pool if you heard of it..." He spoke with his ego evident. He was going to let Lexy play pool with them. Since she was much younger than him, she would be a cake-walk to beat at pool. He felt that he was much more experienced, hardened, at things like this. This was a perfect opportunity to flaunt his skills at pool. Disregarding his suspicions on Lexy. He looked at Lexy, his ability to read emotions suggested that she was happy, cheerful. The best perk of his ability to read emotions was that he always knew when a smile was fake or not--- In this situation, it was genuine happiness... Not a reason to pass her off as harmless, however. "Well... I don't think a two on one would be fair, Lexy. So, we're just going to play a nice old one on one... Unless you got a little friend who wants to join in, then we can have ourselves a nice old fun-as-hell two on two." Johnny spoke, smoothly and charmingly as always. He stood straight up and reached under the pool table for the ball rack, he grabbed it and held it in one hand. He put the ball rack in the middle of the pool table, the very spot he was going to put all the balls. Then he started gathering together all the balls, and placed them all neatly within the rack. Arranging them for starting a proper match of pool. Then he lifted the rack from around the balls, and put the white ball in the appropriate spot, ready to start the match.
"Looks like ya' can handle balls pretty well, eh Johnny?" Gabe smiles as she taunts Johnny with her own immature joke.
"Just as good as you handle the pool cue, Gabe." Johnny started laughing as he delivers his own come back. As he was laughing, he took a step towards Lexy. He handed her the pool-cue he was holding in his hand and said, "C'mon you get first shot." He wanted to see how well Lexy could play (Which he assumed wasn't very good) first hand. In the mean time, he figured that someone should go check up on Jake. He was cooking there all alone. Someone could easily sneak up on him, and that wouldn't go well with Johnny nor Gabe. Since Gabe is Jake's twin, Johnny thought that she should be the one to go check up on him. He should be fine here alone with Lexy, since he's pretty powerful and very few here could match him in a fight. Plus, he can easily tell if Lexy is going to attack just from her emotional aura. Johnny says to Gabe, "Gabe, can you go get me something to drink from the kitchen, some soda or water would be nice....? And go check on Jake."
"Mhm. I'm on it--- Checking on me twin, not gettin' ya' a drink, Johnny." Gabe says to herself as she scrolls out of the room and starts heading towards the kitchen. She would be back with a drink for Johnny and herself. Lexy probably wouldn't accept a drink from a stranger, if she had brains.
Before anyone could do anything, Johnny walked over to the radio and changed the song. Since Gabe is gone, they don't have to listen to that horrid song any longer. The moment he was at the radio, he put his hand on the dial and changed to a classy song, for a classy game of pool. "Now for something classy, for classy people. Suit & Tie by Justin Timberlake."
Song change:
After changing the song on the radio, Johnny walked back over to the pool table and smirked, "May the games begin! Lexy, you make the first shot. Make sure to make it count, little girl..." As he waited for Lexy to shoot, he sung the song playing in the radio to himself, "... And as long as I got my suit and tie, i'ma leave it all on the floor tonight, and you got fixed up to the nines..."
Victoria & Hunter
"Holy hell... Where is it...? I just need one key. One... Then we can move on..." Victoria says to herself, while she and Hunter ransack a room that used to belong to one of the staff members. For the last several hours, the pair had been working together to go locate the missing Jia-li. Keeping their mission a secret, no matter what. They weren't going to tell anyone because they didn't want to give the traitor the opportunity to dispose of the evidence. Only Drake knows of this mission, and will not interfere or help (As Victoria said that he needs downtime to have fun or he'll kill himself). They were in the dorm room, tearing it apart. Well, Victoria is. She was using her telekinesis to tear apart all the furniture and go through everything in the room. A flurry of loud bangs and cracks echoed throughout the halls of the dorms, and it'd be hard to ignore. Victoria didn't care, since she's getting desperate at this point. Since Victoria didn't have a reason to change her outfit, so she was wearing the same thing as she was hours ago.
They were at this for hours. Victoria was getting tired. Neither of them are going to give up, however. Even if they take a break, they will get back to it later.
Hunter just quietly dug through everything that Victoria wasn't taking apart telekinetically. His outfit remained unchanged from earlier today. Still wearing a black (blood-stained) trenchcoat with a white T-shirt under it, jeans, and boots. He kept two Blood-Swords within arms reach at all times, and kept his blood daggers in his trench coat (For Victoria, in case they get attacked, all he needs is two swords). He wasn't holding the swords however, but he kept them close. He had an idea, it wasn't the best idea he came up with, but it'd be an improvement over what they're doing now. He stopped going through the furniture and stopped. He grabbed on to both Blood swords and held one in each hand, "Victoria." He starts off. His plan was simple, they go look in the Administration Building for a clue at least. That building has thousands of files and paperwork pertaining to everything related to the school. It wouldn't take forever going through all of it; as they just have to find the room with files related to the Hospital and go somewhere from there.
Victoria initially ignored Hunter, destroying more and more of the furniture in the process.
There was little choice but to push a little harder, Hunter walked over to his partner and grabbed her by the shoulder, getting her attention, "Victoria. Stop, please. I have a suggestion."
Upon being asked to stop, she dropped everything she was lifting telekinetically and said, "What is it...? We can't stop until we find her..."
"We aren't. It's best that we take a different route here. Destroying room after room has turned up futile... We should implore the administration building, or head back to the Hospital. Look for a staff list. Then we return here and look for keys." Hunter says to Victoria blankly.
Victoria couldn't say that she liked the idea of running around out there in all that rain. But, if it's necessary to find Jia-li, she'll do it. "In all that rain? It's pretty hard to see out there... I don't think we should go now, we should wait until it settles down a bit..." Victoria trailed off.
"The rain will wash away the pain and doubt within you, and I will be there to assist you all the way." Hunter says. With Victoria at his side, they'll be pretty hard to beat. Besides, it's not like what they're doing here would get them any closer to their goal than searching through a few files. "With telekinesis and the art of shedding blood at our disposals, we shouldn't have too much trouble."
"Alright then... Let's start with the Administration building." Victoria throws in her own input with their plan, being motivated by Hunter.
"Yes." Hunter replies.
With that, they started their journey out of the dorms and towards the Administration Building.

Lexy could tell the duo didn't like her, but she didn't really care. All she cared about was playing pool... And winning, of course. Unless someone looked upset when they began to lose, then she will lose on purpose. Maybe.
When Johnny introduced himself and Gabe, she nodded, still having a smile. "Nice to meet you two! And yeah, I know how to play 8-ball. It's fun!" Lexy was just itching to play te game. Pool is fun, winning is fun, so put it together and it's reeeeaaally fun! It made complete sense. Though she couldn't quite understand their jokes directed at each other.
Her mind was distracted from wondering about the jokes when Lexy was handed the pool-cue. She looked at the pool table, trying to decide which numbers she wanted. She liked the number 7, so one through seven it was. Seven... Didn't a lot of people like that number? Oh well. Though she could probably end the game with one shot, Lexy wanted to just get... Three in. 1, 4, and 5. That sounded like a good start. Lexy aimed... And hit, getting the three she wanted. She looked at Johnny. "Was that good?" she smiled.
--- Crystal --- Crystal nodded as Jake walked to the kitchen, "thank you," she quickly told him. She then turned to Drake, "No problem. It wasn't much trouble.". Crystal then turned to the new girl who had introduced herself, "Nice to meet you, Lin. My name's Crystal, a you probably just heard from the conversation." she laughed awkwardly.
When Lily said someone was spying on them, Crystal stayed bak with Lin. He headache was almost gone now, true, but healing and sense enhancing weren't fighting powers. Just helping ones. She watched anxiously as they asked for whoever it wa to reveal themself.

"I can ssee nothing, but in nothing, I ssee everything!" Dragonfly said, the only light in the small sewer tunnel the lamp light he had stolen from the dorms when he had buried John Doe. The chess set was sitting not far away from it. Across the end of the light, Henry was sitting cross legged and listening to Dragonfly talk intently. "As I ssee everything, I ssee forever." Dragonfly continued, raising his arm out for dramatic effect. "Forever iss infinite." He said, emphasizing on the word infinite. "I..." he said, looking to his claw and closing it into a fist. "Am infinite."
Dragonfly dropped his dramatic stance, and looked to Henry, who was now clapping at his performance. "How wass that?" Dragonfly questioned hopefully. He had been practicing a play with Henry, who was getting his parts spot on every time. He however was having some difficulty. "It was much better than last time. Infinity is not only blackness, and you didn't request mauve light. God powers dont have that kind of asshole sense of humor." Henry said, referencing Dragonfly's improve after forgetting his part. "However, you need to practice that list of yours. It's emphasizing words on accident. Practice a little more." He offered as advice.
"Why dont we take a break and play ssome chesss." Dragonfly offered, to which Henry shrugged. Dragonfly pushed the set over between them with his tail and sat down. "Do you think I handled leading them well enough?" Dragonfly said as he made the first move. "You did well enough. Gabe dislikes you though." Henry replied nonchalantly. "A lot of people disslike me." Dragonfly replied once again, making another move. "Yes, but you dislike Gabe back."
Dragonfly looked up and at Henry for a moment, studying him. Did he hate Gabe? He search himself, and decided that he indeed did. He had many opportunities to help her in the fight with the Oozium, but he didn't. He choose not to. He acted upon emotion and by doing nothing he did something. "I guesss you're right."

Livvy sighed, and looked resignedly at her teddy. She stepped out from behind the corner, a little unnerved by the presence of so many big kids, but at least she recognized Livvy. She would've preferred Dragonfly, though, who seemed really nice and stuff.
"How'd you find me?" Livvy whined, looking back at the corner from where she was standing. "I thought I was all quiet!" She looked around from one kid to another, trying to see if she recognized any. Nope. None whatsoever. "I just heard you guys say you were going on an adventure and I didn't know if I could come...I...I won't slow you down or anything! I'm really good at finding my way around in the dark and stuff! Please!"
Ah, it was no use. Livvy could tell by the looks in their faces-they all looked kinda angry and tense, like they were about to fight or something, but there wasn't anybody around to fight. None of those scary monster things-Livvy scanned the room, sparkling eyes not spying anyone there. Thank goodness. If Livvy lived out the rest of her days without ever seeing another Ooizum, she would be quite the happy girl. And at the moment, her happiness was teetering on a razor's edge, 'cause she was pretty sure they were going to say no to her, but she really, really wanted them to say yes. She tried her best at persuading them-mostly just Lily, cause she was the only one she knew-again.
"Please! Please? I'll be quiet, I promise! And like I said I'm really good in the dark and I don't get lost and stuff! You wouldn't have known I was going if you hadn't ratted me out!" Livvy huffed, fearing if they responded with a no. And now it would just be awkward to ask for food, so she'd have to wait even longer for dinner. Oh well. A little hunger was worth the untold mysteries of the mansion on campus-and if they wouldn't take her, she'd just sneak out and go herself! Livvy was a great many things, and at times, she could be quite the girly girl, but at other times, she was as defiant and rebellious as they came. Never outright-she was a little too shy for that, and frankly everyone's eyes being on her was a little intimidating as it was, so she tried to focus on just Lily, and when that didn't work, her tennis shoes, but she was stubborn. No, if they wouldn't have her, she'd go and see if Dragonfly wanted to go and then they could go explore themselves. And it would be way cooler and way better. Yeah!

"How'd you find me?" Livvy whined, looking back at the corner from where she was standing. "I thought I was all quiet!"
Thank god. It wasn't another one of those maniacs. Everyone in the group relaxed when Livvy revealed herself to them. Since, (so far) she isn't a threat to them. Immediately, Drake reverted back to his human form, his right arm ceased glowing red as the energy faded away. Then he scolded himself for the very thought of attacking a little girl. Good thing he didn't adopt a "shoot first" approach to things or else he would have never forgive himself. A fake smile crept on his face as he scratched the back of his neck. Now that he thinks about it, this whole scene of everyone getting scared was a bit ridiculous. However, it's justified since they're getting attacked left and right, and this whole traitor fiasco. It's all just enough to put anyone on edge. He chuckled a bit as he spoke, "Heh, looks like the first false alarm in many, ha, Lil?" Drake laughed a little bit more, before he shouted back to the group, "Hey guys, it's all good! Just a little girl." Alerting them that the
Lily ignored Drake in favor of Livvy. She was more concerned about how to answer Livvy. Lily knew that if it wasn't for her power to detect Meta-humans, Livvy could have easily trailed them and followed them along with their mission. That was a good thing, and Lily wasn't going to tell Livvy that she can detect Meta-humans. Just in the unlikely case the girl starts trying to find ways around it--- When Lily barely even knows about her own ability, it'd just be best if Livvy gets fed a lie. Lily spoke very hesitantly, like anyone else would pick up on it, "Well, I have... Uh, women's intuition. That's how I knew you were there..." Totally should work on my children talking skills.
After seeing that the situation was over, Lin sighed out of relief. She looked around the room, before looked at everyone in here. Things were pretty tense, and even she was realizing that. Lin didn't want to approach them, since they seemed to be on top of it. Nothing was said or done by Lin, she was sat there waiting for something to happen.

"No. No. No, way." Lily immediately says. There were more reasons than she could count on why Livvy shouldn't go with them. With the biggest reason being that she's too young, and it's dangerous out there in the rain. They all were taking a risk even heading out there during all of this. "Look, we're not going on any adventures. We're just... Scouting the place. For later. It's pretty dangerous out there already and..." Lily was about to go on and on, until she simply stopped herself. She had gotten her point across.
The older Blackmore, Drake, had other ideas. The girl, Livvy had inspired a bit of nostalgia in him. Since, when he was her age, he was in the exact same position she is now. Asking adults, and other kids, if he could go off on adventures. Drake did want Livvy to come along, merely because there's very little risk of taking her along--- And if something does go wrong, they can easily handle the young girl, and get her to safety. He took a slow, but cautious step towards Livvy with a warm half-smile. He spoke, amused, and playful, "Well, hold on for a second, Lily. You're not really going to deny this young girl some fun, are you? Let's take her along, what's the worst that could go wrong?"
Yes I am, and it's for her own good! Lily thinks to herself as she gives Drake an annoyed stare. She wasn't exactly pleased to hear that Drake wanted to bring Livvy along. Whatever his reasons were, Lily disagreed with them. She spoke, calmly, but there was a hint of annoyance in her tone, "Plenty of things. If she comes with us, she could get hurt---" Before she could finish, Drake cut her off.
"... Just like anywhere else in this school. You gotta remember that this entire place is dangerous. Besides. I reckon she was wandering around without anyone watching her. Shouldn't our leader have her under her supervision?" Drake cuts off Lily, and speaks his own counter to Lily, very happily. Just like he's done before when he suggested this whole mission. No part of the school is no more dangerous than where they're standing right now.
"But, I'm the le---" The leader, and I should definitely not say that out loud. Lily thinks to herself after a failed attempt at pleading. At this point it became evident that Drake isn't going to back down, and as much as she flaunts her self-proclaimed leadership; it won't nothing. So, she caved in, gave up. If they really wanted her to come, then let them. "Ugh, fine. She can come..." Lily starts off, grasping her forehead, while shaking her entire head left to right. Before suddenly stopping and facing Livvy, "You stay close to us at all times, Liv, okay?"
"Ah, I knew you would come though, Lil." Drake says to Lily in the same tone he's been using since this conversation started. While Lily clearly didn't want Livvy on the group, she allowed her to come along anyway. Livvy would be safe with him, since there's no way that he'll allow her to get hurt as long as she's under his care. This would also make a good proving run for Livvy, in case she comes along in their own expeditions to the places around the school. Then Drake remembered that he never really introduced himself to the girl, "So, little girl, I'm Drake Blackmore."
At this moment, Jake came out of the kitchen, with two plates of well-cooked chicken in both hands. They both were cooked and seasoned to perfection, and Jake was proud of his cooking skills. One plate was for Crystal and the other was for himself. Since he hasn't really eaten in a little while, and they're going on this mission. He took small steps towards the table that Lin and Crystal were sitting at, intending on. Then he peered his head towards to his right, and saw Drake and Lily with some little girl. He wasn't sure of what was happening, but that little girl was kind of cute. Maybe he could cook her some food--- But, he was getting tired of going back and forth into the kitchen, holding up this big adventure Drake talks about.
The moment Jake approached the table, he was greeted by Lin. "Hello, Jake." Lin says to Jake, her tone seemed to be of relief.
Impress Lin, Impress Lin, Impress Lin, Impress Lin, Impress Lin, Impress Lin.... Were the immediate thoughts in the back of his head. He quickly came to a decision and choose to offer the chicken meant for himself to Livvy. He'll be hungry, but he would hopefully have impressed Lin with his selfless attitude. And, in the process, he'll show the contrast between himself and Johnny. Before he did that, he placed one of the plates on the table in front of Crystal, "... This is for you." Before he rested the other plate on the table, he called out to Livvy, "Hey little girl. I have some food for you if you want it!"
Johnny
Celo The Impossible wrote:
"Was that good?" she smiled.
Johnny kept his full attention on the tip of the pool cue, and the balls that it was pointed at the balls. Taking small intervals to observe Lexy's stance and pose. It wasn't the perfect pose, and Johnny expected her to completely mess up and do nothing. If that occurred, he wouldn't just laugh his @ss off, he would beat her at pool, in the most epic and flashy fashion. As he waited for that moment when she shoots and f*cks it all up, a smile quickly grew on his face. Then that moment where he tasted victory... He immediately frowned. She just scored three. In one shot. That really changed his outlook a little bit. It must have been a lucky shot... or... A power. The chick probably has telekinesis, or something like that. He read his emotions again using his power, her emotional state was still legitimate happiness. Perhaps there was something about this girl.
That's why he wished he had Telepathy too. He could be so much more useful with telepathy instead of reading emotions--- But, he digressed, he had to make due with what he was given. Johnny was still suspicious of Lexy, but he was going to continue playing this game of pool, with common sense. He wasn't going to bet a single thing to this girl until he figures out what she can do. He answered her question with a skeptical face and rolled his eyes up into his head briefly, "Yeah, it was good for a start... But, let me show you some world class excellence." Speaking in his usual arrogant tone. He then rudely walked over to her and grabbed the pool cue. Johnny then looked at the white ball, quickly looking for the best way to take the shot. He approached the pool table, and aligned his body for the best shot. He smirked a little bit as he pointed the cue at the white ball. Before Johnny took the shot, he decided to ask a question, even though he may get the wrong answer, "So, Lex... We're in a school for bloody superhumans... What's your superhuman power? If you don't mind me asking." He spoke in a charming, yet arrogant tone. He wasn't exactly going to give Lexx a conclusive answer if she asked about his powers. He needs to keep his true power a secret to the girl. In that moment, Johnny shot the ball.
Only the 2 Ball went into the hole. The one, sole ball.
Crap. Johnny briefly thought to himself. As he looked up at Lexy.

Crystal looked at the girl curiously. Very young, young enough to hold a teddy bear. And they were taking her on their little adventure? Crystal winced. The poor girl was bound to get hurt somehow. She had to take and be sure to be around for any injuries. But if Crystal were to go... what if she were to get in the way again, at first? Sure, she helped heal near the end of the fight, but it still worried her that she wouldn't be needed. She hated that feeling. Crystalgripped her notebook tightly before speaking up, "I guess I could go, too."
it was then Jake brought the food. The chicken smelled great, and Crystal took her attention away from the conversation and began eating rather quickly. her headache was now gone and she shouldn't worry about the future- it is time to eat.
--- Lexy --- Lexy frowned when Johnny asked about her power, "Well, I was planning on telling you after I won the game, but I guess since I've already told Victora, Hunter and Tom...." Lexy said that she was going to win the game as if it was a normal thing that she completely relied on, no doubt at all. She smiled again, "Perfect aim! I probably could've won on the first hit but I wanted to keep my power a secret until the end." She looked at the pool table. Well now johnny probably wouldn't want to play with her or something... oh well! It's just a game, right? Besides, there were other fun things to do- like talk! If Johnny didn't want to talk with her she could go talk to someone else, right? Were Victoria and Hunter still searching for the key? Wonder where Tom and Marie are... or she could meet some more people! That would be fun- it's always fun to meet people.

"OOH! Thanks! Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you Drake Blackmore!" Livvy enveloped his lower leg in a hug, then broke away, grinning. "I promise I won't slow you guys down or anything! I bet I'll even help you some! I'm really good at seeing stuff in the dark and all-" Livvy thought back to the sewers, where she'd curled up in a little crevice in the pipes to temporarily avoid the Oozium-"and I bet I could fit in smaller places and stuff! That's how I got away from...that scary ooze thing..." Livvy shivered, her tone suddenly much more fearful, and with a fresh wave of paranoia she checked over her shoulder. No ooze-monsters there. Whew. Livvy looked around the room at the other big kids, who suddenly seemed less intimidating now that they were letting her do stuff, and sized the up. Lily she knew, but tried to keep her from going, so she was kinda neutral in her book. There was a girl and another girl and-
Thoughts of food overrode most other social obligations, and Livvy eagerly scurried over to Jake, beaming at her newest bestest friend, and said a quick "Thank you!" before grabbing the food and sitting down. Although, in Livvy's mind, it had only been a few hours since she'd eaten, it had been several days in reality, thanks to the Stasis pods-and regardless of how effective they were at maintaining their subject's needs, one can build up quite the appetite from being fed off a tube, even unwittingly. Livvy looked at the wrecked cafeteria, setting Mr. Teddy on the table next to her as she began to eat. Her manners were a little sloppy, likely due to her ravenous hunger. She hummed quietly as she ate, preferring to look out the window at the rainstorm outside rather than engage in direct conversation. In fact, aside from her initial outburst of glee, Livvy seemed to be calming down a bit, and finished her plate in no time. She wondered how it would get put away, without her mom there, but supposed the school might have a person that did that for them. There were a ton of other plates and a big mess in here, though, so they were really slacking off on the job. The untidiness of this kitchen compared to the one back home brought a twinge of nostalgia in Livvy, and she started to wonder for the first time how her parents were, and when...when she was going back. Surely...soon...right?
The meal digesting in her stomach and the allure of the glittering stars above (for Livvy's eyes alone, they burned straight through the cloud cover, silver and gorgeous and full, and the school campus beneath them was lit as clearly as day) was beginning to coax her outside. Livvy had a rare moment of wanting to prepare for something ahead of time and scrambled over to the water fountain ((assuming it's still functional)) and refilled her plastic water bottle, just in case she got thirsty on the trip. Livvy walked over to Drake and Lily, feeling a bit nervous again, now that the immediate issue of going had been cleared. "Um," she said quietly, observing the patterns of her shoelaces, which she had mastered tying a few months back, "I'm ready to go now. Thanks for the food."

???
Outside, the pouring torrents of rain would have repelled many people, and most kinds of meta-humans, save for those that might have powers linked in some way to water or weather. However, there was one individual, in particular, who wandered about the grounds, not because he loved rain, but simply because he did not care. He didn't care about the weather, or even where he was, he was just wandering, having resigned himself to roaming a place that was once populated by life, but was now from his viewpoint empty and lifeless. He was a roaming corpse, several of his fingers and toes had crumbled to dust, and the loss of his big toe on one foot forced him to carry a tree branch to be used as a cane, should he continue to roam aimlessly. He saw through his left eye, for his right was blind, and as he moved, he drooled constantly, no longer having cheeks or lips to keep him from doing so. His nose was gone, and although he was young, his face was wrinkled like an old man's. Keeled black scales, once shiny and sleek, covered his body, but they were now dry, dull, and grey. His dark hair was long and unkempt, falling to cover his shoulders, though held away from his ghastly face by small chipped horns. Tattered dragon wings folded behind his back, riddled with holes, and a chipped tail with a triangular barb dragged limply behind.
On his wracked, skeletal frame, he wore an over-sized white t-shirt, and sweatpants, both stained with blood and grime. He wore a tattered black cloak over his frame, the hood drawn over his head to conceal his face. It still could not hide the many oozing, open sores that covered his body, nor how his unhealthy gums, yet strikingly white teeth, indicated that he was not eating, when he should be. Indeed, this individual looked disease-ridden, weak, and grievously ill. He did not care about his appearance, however, he did not seem to notice that the rain made his ulcers sting. He felt nothing but emptiness and despair, the green leaves on the trees, the seemingly healthy look of the grass; it was all a lie. It was an illusion, he knew it was all dead, just like him, he wasn't really alive, he was just a phantom, or a corpse, something dead still walking the grounds. Why did special eyes insist on grabbing him, forcing him back to the hospital, and then force-feeding him and trying to treat his wounds? He was already dead, he couldn't die a second time. He would not stay there, he would wander here, in this dead school, until the end of the world came. It wouldn't be long now.
Reginald was an anomaly among Meta-humans, what he was was perhaps even rarer than one who received the legendary Omicron Burst. He had, against steep odds, managed to become one of the rare four percent of all meta-humans in existence to survive the process of Ashing: what occurred when one grossly over-used their powers. However, what one would have considered an amazing blessing, was in reality a curse, it would have been better if Reginald had died when the process began. When the rapid death of his cells finally stopped, he was left a hollow shell of who he once was. Driven to the point of madness, he suffered from Cotard Delusion. Many would have thought he would be grateful to be alive, but he thought he was dead, and insisted that the world around him was, too. He would kill himself, if he was not convinced that he was still a living being. He posed no threat to anyone, but even so, Reginald's appearance alone was macabre, a terrible sight for anyone who saw him, as he passed by the dorms near the windows, where anyone looking out of one could see him.

"So why do you call yourself that?"
Dragonfly looked up from his kill. There were areas of the lake that flitered into the sewers. They were small and hard to reach, even for the Dragon. He had come up through the sewer and had gone fishing. He didn't dare come to the surface. He felt uneeded, and slightly useless. He didn't want to prove Gabe wrong by the way he would carry himself if he left the safety of his home. A small hole in the ceiling above him bathed him in dying light. He had noticed his powers were fluctuating slightly. This was usually a mood change, or the coming of something. He sat on his haunches eating a now dead carp. They were very earthy fish, and had a taste that was nothing to be desired, but they were common, easy enough to catch, and were large enough to feed him for days. He wouldn't complain anyway. He was a predator, and predators didn't care what they ate if it was meat and kept them alive.
The beastman turned to look at Henry. "What do you mean?" he questioned, looking at the human before him, who sat less than two feet away watching him. "You think of yourself as fear. Why?" This took Dragonfly aback. He didn't know Henry that well, and he had never used a power as of yet. Could he possibly be a mind reader? No... That's not right. "How would you know that?" Dragonfly asked, cocking his head to the side questioningly. "That's right, when you first met me you weren't you. You dont remember as the... other guy... It doesnt matter who I am, lets say I have many forms. One of them is you." Henry said, curling a leg in and rested his chin on his palm, which in turn rested his elbow on his kneecap. Dragonfly looked at the man for a moment, taking this in, before shaking his head and looking away. "So why are you fear?" Henry asked again.
"I am fear because fear iss unknown. People do not know me, and therefor fear me. I am fear." Dragonfly replied. "People hurt thingss they are sscared of." Henry was silent for a moment, before he opened his mouth to say something, before shutting it. He seemed to think for a moment, before once again attempting to speak. "What about Livvy?" He asked, pausing for a moment to take a breath before continuing. "She never saw you, not once. After she had been attacked by the Oozium, she was terrified, but you seeked her out to help her. She only knows you by voice yet she fet completely safe around you. Maybe she can see things other cant, and maybe she can see the good in you. Just maybe." Henry said, standing up and staring Dragonfly down. "If she likes you, how bad could you be?" and with that, Henry turned on his heel and left into the darkness.
Dragonfly watched Henry go, and exhaled as if he had forgotten to breath the entire time Henry was talking. He looked to his carp, and decided to finish it quickly. He quickly scarfed the fish down, and stood up. He heard a sharp crackling sound as he stood back up though. Oh, it was that time of the month. Unfotunately, it was on his back. He sighed, and decided to make a place he could rip easier. He used his index claw and placed it on his skull right between his eye ridges. He pressed down, and dragged his claws down his snout, down his neck, and all the way to his chest. Instead of blood falling, the skin split open to reveal new and shinier new scales. Dragonfly grabbed the ends around his chest and began to rip his skin off his body. The process took time, taking nearly twenty minutes in total for the skin to dislodge itself from the new skin and come off.
When he was finished, he pulled his foot free of the final bit, and looked at his forearm. It was bleach white, like an albinos. The skin lacked pigment, and the color he decided to turn to now would be his default for the entirety of the next month. He could be anything from brown to hot pink. He shivered, and his body warped it's color into minight black, and his underbelly changed to a ever so slightly darker shade of white. His eyes changed from yellow to completely black to match his pupils and new black coloration. He was a new lizard. He looked down at his old skin, which had a slight green tint to it, and cracked his neck. He hated this part the most about shedding his skin, but it came instictually, and it kept the place Sub-Basement somewhat clean. He reached down, grabbing the skin, and balled it up, before dislodging his jaw and allowing it to hang open. He then placed the ball of skin into his mouth, and swallowed it whole. It would digest like any other food, and he would leave nothing behind. No evidence that he had been there.
And then he disappeared off into the darkness, away from where most dared to go.

Spoiler:
Claire Sparks awoke in a hospital bed to a very sharp pain in her left shoulder. She was in the hospital, having her shoulder repaired (as Alejandro left before Crystal could heal Claire). At her right sat Alejandro, who was facing backwards on his chair, looking out at the rain in his stone form. A very quiet muttering could be heard, which Claire soon made out to be prayer. She knew barely anything about Alejandro, except that he and Taylor used to date, but had broken up rather violently a few weeks before. She had only really talked to him once, and now he was the only person at her side. Claire grunted loudly as an Eye popped her shoulder back into her socket.
"You are now repaired." the Eye said.
"Yeah yeah, shut the f*ck up." Claire muttered.
"Oh good, you're awake now." Alejandro said, still staring out at the rain. In his hands was a black rosary. "Do you remember anything?" Claire looked up at the ceiling, trying to think. She remembered most of it; the big pink hentai monster, TJ firing cereal at it, and then darkness. She rubbed her head with the non-damaged arm and remembered getting whacked into the crate of ketchup (which was surprisingly gone from her clothing). Past that, she could remember nothing.
"You are now cleared to leave, Ms.Sparks." the Eye said, handing her a bottle of pills "Take one of these a day and ice your shoulder and you should be able to make a full recovery within two weeks". Claire stuffed the pills into her jean pockets, and then stood up to leave. Alejandro made the sign of the cross, and followed her out. Claire found this strange, considering that she and Alejandro had never really talked much. They were really only acquaintances, yet Claire always liked how he didn't seem to be as overbearing personality-wise as drama queen Carole.
"I'm sorry, Claire." Alejandro said softly as they walked out of the hospital "If there was anything I could have done...I couldn't save him and I feel terrible".
"What the f*ck are you talking about?" Claire snapped, suddenly feeling extremely anxious "And where the f*ck is TJ? I figured he'd have stayed with me in the hospital". Alejandro stopped in his tracks with a deer-in-the-headlights look on his face. Oh, my Lord, she doesn't know.
"Claire..." Alejandro began slowly.
"No." Claire stopped and looked down at the ground. They were at the lobby doors, where only yesterday Claire and TJ had battled Pestilence. Her face was drained of all color as she looked over at Alejandro. "No. No no no that's bullsh*t!"
"Claire, I-"
"NO! That's a lie! He can't be! You have got to be bullsh*tting me!"
"I-"
"No, he lived. He always does. Somehow, he got away. He had to. He always does! He can f*cking teleport Alex! There's no way!"
"Claire I'm not making this sh*t up!" Claire stopped her babbling and looked Alejandro square in the eye. Her eyes were hopeless, as if he had just crushed her soul "TJ opened some kind of black hole-thingy and sucked the Oozium into it, but it grabbed him and took him with it. He's gone Claire. He's gone!" Claire was silent. She stood there for what felt like forever, staring Alejandro in the eyes as he delivered the news. No, it couldn't be. TJ could have escaped. He could have gotten away. He would have gotten away. There was no way he couldn't have gotten away. She closed her eyes and shivered in the chill of the rain as she felt her spirits dive towards Hell. TJ Eckleburg was dead.
"Claire, I'm so sorry." Alejandro whispered "If you need anyone to talk to-"
"No." Claire said, turning towards the rain "No, I'm fine. Just go f*cking home and leave me alone". With that, Claire stormed off into the downpour outside. Claire hated rain. Alejandro was left alone, standing at the hospital, not sure if he should follow Claire or let her go. He decided to let her alone for a bit, so Alex began to walk through the rain towards the dorms. Maybe he'd find someone to hang out with.
Claire began to run through the rain, her eyes welling with tears and her hands held over her head in an unsuccessful attempt to keep herself dry. She went into a full-out sprint in no direction in particular, just wanting to get away. She finally found herself in the park, her clothes soaked through and her eyes running with tears. She fell to her knees and put her head in her hands, weeping. Her only friend in the entire world was gone. She had nothing; no one who would ever care about her.
"Why...did you have to be such a dumbass hero?" Claire muttered through her tears, her voice sounding strangled and upset "You could have lived. We could have all lived. But no, you had to be a f*cking hero!" Claire began to shake uncontrollably, her body occasionally lighting up with tiny arcs of blue electricity. Claire knew this was very, very bad, but couldn't stop herself. It was a reaction of Claire's own body to excrete electricity when she was extremely upset or angry. What was going to happen next Claire knew she wouldn't like.
She looked down at her hands as a loud crackling sound filled her ears. The water was striking her electrically-charged skin, causing her to steam. Slowly her skin began to steam more until a cloud of wispy white smoke could be seen from afar above her location. She began to shake harder as the electricity suddenly red-shifted and turned purple. This was very, very bad. Claire began to hyperventilate as the purple electricity consumed her body and shifted to become a blood red. A very loud static noise emanated from her steaming form, and she looked up at the sky, her eyes now glowing red.
"GOD DAMMIT, TJ, WHY?" she screamed. As she did so, all of Claire's electricity consumed her form, and was released in a massive electrical shockwave that could be heard from miles around. Electronics all of the the school would begin to short circuit, and anyone too close to the blast would be knocked unconscious. A massive red lightning bolt shot from Claire's position and crashed into the dome around the school, making a mind-numbingly loud "BOOM!" The dome shook a moment, and cracked ever so slightly at the spot where Claire had blasted her lightning. It was only a hairline fracture, but still it was there. The massive lightning bolt continued for several seconds, and then vanished. Claire, who had floated several feet into the air during the burst, fell to the ground, her clothes almost completely burned off and her skin covered with black electrical burns. She smacked the ground loudly, and then ceased moving, completely unconscious.

"No evil can happen to a good man, either in life or after death." - Plato
A pair of arms reached under Claire's form, one arm going underneath her knees, and another holding her torso up just below her shoulder blades. The sound of boots walking calmly through the watery grass of the park could be heard. The rubber created a slight squishing sound against the ground as he moved. It was, at the moment, a white mist. It had no form. None were looking at it. "He decided that dying a hero would be better than living a coward." It answered to no one in particular. It's voice was of neither gender, and held a monotone that was eerie to it. It had grown used to this fact in it's long existence. It had long since forgotten what its gender had been, and it was all right with that. It felt that it no longer needed one, like it's name.
It, was Nobody. Everyone else on the world did not know who they were, but he knew who he was, so he did not need a name. He had seen many in the world discover themselves, and had been there in their greatest moments, where their name had been theirs and theirs alone. When people had become more than themselves by forgetting their titles and honors for a few moments, when their name had become their own. No mortal wall could contain him, and he came and went as he pleased. But this place, it was different. In many other parts of the world, choices were being made, and there were fewer variants to them. He was not needed. This place... everywhere the inhabitants turned they were confronted by choices that determined the outcome of the game greatly. He was needed, or at least, he could help. Dragonfly had benefitted from his help, he was becoming a better person as a whole, despite his disabilities.
He carried the girl to the dorms as if she weighed nothing. He was no longer held bound by mortal strength and stamina. The power was temporarily out from the electric shock, so he could move unnoticed. He continued to move, looking for an empty dorm, and when he found one, he knew it was unlocked. He twisted the door knob with the hand under the girl's legs and brought her through the door frame, and set her down on the bed inside. He would have to get Dragonfly to get Crystal to heal her, and then Drake to make sure she did not harm herself again. When she came too, he would be there. She would be allowed to see him. He felt his presence begin to change to that of the female genders. It was foggy. The girl had not yet come all the way back to consciousness.
She had lost her only friend.
So he would be there.
Just... just this once. He was needed.

Claire's eyes slowly fluttered open, and she audibly cursed as she felt the pain from the burns that now covered her body. Somehow, her face hadn't been burnt, but her arms, back and chest were now scarred with black scorches from the burst. What was left of her clothing was tattered and torn, the edges cauterized with burns. She squirmed on the bed as her body awoke from being unconscious. This often happened when Claire passed out, as her body wasn't used to not having a large electric charge. After a few moments of a rather comical epileptic-style seizure, Claire ceased motion, and took a deep breath in. She was in a room, a dorm of some sort, but not her own. Her vision was still slightly fuzzy and her hearing made everything sound far away and diluted.
Ever so slowly, Claire slowly attempted to pull herself up onto her elbows. Something didn't make sense. Why wasn't she dead? That electric blast should have killed her, and if not, she would have just gotten left in the park to die. Nobody cared about her, anyways. She had no friends and way too many enemies. Maybe this was some cruel joke by Johnny to keep her alive in this living agony so he could use her as a dart board for insults. Yes, that must be it; this was all a cruel joke. Maybe this was one of Jake's crazy illusions made to make Claire feel safe while she was secretly dying in a field. Yet, upon secondary examination, she found that there was someone else in the room. Next to the bed was a woman, around her age, with long blonde hair the same color as Claire's, but minus the red streaks. Claire examined the girl's face, and realized something chilling.
"Who...are you?" Claire said, her voice weak and shaky "And why...did you save me?"
---
Taylor was in her room, laying on the now-thawed waterbed. She was crying, and a pair of makeup stains now frequented one of her white memory foam pillows. In her right hand was a bottle of wine, uncorked and about half-empty. At this point, alcohol seemed to be Taylor's only friend. After the meeting, Carole had sped off to somewhere else, and she and Alejandro still weren't speaking. Then Johnny had gone off to fight the ooze monster, leaving poor Taylor d'Leau alone with no one to comfort her. The water outside reflected her feelings. She vaguely wondered whether or not she was indirectly causing this rainstorm, though the probability was unlikely. From outside, she heard a great crash of lightning, causing her to jump. The power went out in her room, leaving her in the dark with the wine. Taylor wondered if this was what rock bottom looked like.
Spoiler:
Then it hit her; what was she doing? If Marisa had seen Taylor like this, she would have been embarrassed. This wasn't what Marisa had wanted; for Taylor to mope around for the rest of her life and kill herself with alcohol. No, she must live on, and try to act as normal as she could, even if it only was a facade. Taylor lifted the wine bottle onto the nightstand, and rose from the bed. She grabbed a flashlight, and flicked the switch. The lightbulb sparked violently, and then popped loudly, causing Taylor to drop it to the ground.
"Merde, Claire." Taylor muttered under her breath. Taylor went into her closet and found a candle, which he lit and held out in front of her, careful not to touch any of her clothing with the flame. She picked out a pair of designer jeans and a grey short-sleeved blouse. She sat the clothing selection on her bed and walked into the bathroom, slipping out of her black dress as she did so. To the best of her ability, Taylor repaired her makeup in the light of the candle. The mere presence of the flame made her feel extremely uncomfortable, considering that fire was the polar opposite of water. But, you could't make light with water, so Taylor just dealt with it. Upon exiting the bathroom, Taylor put on the blouse and jeans, as well as a pair of more casual-looking black high heels. She extinguished the flame with a sprinkle of water, and walked out the door in an attempt to find something to do.

"I... I am not necessarily a who." The woman before Claire said, the monotone in her voice gone and replaced with a copy of Claire's. She reached over and carefully placed a hand on Claire's shoulder. It was harder for her to touch people unless she had a solid grasp on them. If she just skimmed her than her hand would've passed through, and if Claire attempted simply touch her than he hand would pass through. "Lay down, you are hurt." she said, pushing the girl back down. It could be noted that despite the fact that her hand was touching Claire's burns, there was no pain that followed. His hand was like a ghostly touch. It was there, and Claire knew it because it was right in front of her. But she did not feel it like a normal person's hand.
"Well, I guess you could say I am a who, after all, I am you." she replied after pushing Claire back onto the bed. "I saved you because if you died, then TJ's sacrifice would've meant nothing. He died so you, Dragonfly, Drake, everyone else could live. People were nearly killed down there, and he died so that wouldn't happen. But if you died? Then what?" Nobody pulled her hand up to her forehead and brushed her hair to the side and out of her eyes. "I saved you because there is always somebody watching out for you. Even the monster on campus, Dragonfly, has people who look out for him. Drake and his sister and some of the other animal metas care about his well being. We all have guardian angels out there for us. Some you can and cant see. It depends on if they want you to see them or not." Nobody said, kneeling down and resting his arms against the bed. "Why would I let anyone die if I could stop it? Especially if I see if happening before it happens? TJ is still with YOU." Nobody said, lifting her hand up and placing her index finger on Claire's forehead. "The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living." she said, moving her finger away.
"Remember when you fought Pestilence together, and won? That's a memory of TJ. He is still with you. When does a man die? When he is hit by a bullet? No. When he suffers a disease? No. When he ate a soup made out of a poisonous mushroom? No." She said, her voice still held a soft tone to it, one that would be held only by a person of great age, like a great grandmother in a rocking chair talking to her grandchildren's children. She exuded respect and had an uncharacteristically strange feeling of power that radiated from her, but not in a forceful way. It was the kind of power that gave the feeling that this person was here for you and only you and to help you. Her appearance was not one that would seem to exude such an aura, but the way she spoke, it was different than any normal person.
"A man dies when he is forgotten."

Drake, Lily, Lin, & Jake
The Real Shade wrote:
"OOH! Thanks! That's how I got away from...that scary ooze thing..."
When Livvy hugged Drake, he smiled warmly. Like, he really thought Livvy was cute. The way that she wanted to really go down on this small trip. Which probably won't end horribly like their trip into the sub-basement. With the group they have, they'll be quite a force. Plus, Drake has a constant Mind-Link with Victoria. Which means he could easily contact her, and she can come in with back up. However, Drake was basically the only heavy hitter in the group. With everyone else having a support/defensive role. Still, he was confident in their ability to defend themselves regardless. "Heh, you don't have to worry about that monster, we---- Uh, you'll be just fine coming with us. Just stick with me, I'll keep you safe. I promise." Drake happily says to Livvy, as he starts laughing a bit. He would certainly do all in his power to keep Livvy safe. Regardless of what happens to him.
You better. Anything happens to that girl, and I'm kicking your @ss.... Lily thinks to herself as she crosses her arms tightly. Giving Drake a venomous glare. She really didn't want Livvy coming along. It was a bad idea just waiting to happen. She was very annoyed--- Merely because she didn't get her way here. That was something that always annoyed her. It was always her way, or the highway. However, she would keep this to herself, for now. She didn't want to sour her reputation among the group by b*tching about how she didn't get her way. Lily just stood there, giving Drake a glare that gave away that she wasn't too pleased with him.
Jake managed to divert Livvy's attention away from them, by simply offering her some food. The group watched as she walked over to the plate that Jake presented to her. Which was a clear mission accomplished for Jake. Even if he didn't impress Lin or anyone else, this little girl would have some food in her belly. Jake smiled as he looked around. He suddenly stopped and put his hand on his chin. ... Maybe I should stop trying to do the right thing for... Selfish, reasons. She could be reading my mind and knew what I was REALLY trying to do... Jake briefly looked at Lin. Who was silent as ever. Jake wondered why she was so silent. She barely speaks, and when she does, she barely says anything. Jake shrugged again. I guess that's how some people are. Not everyone's a social butterfly... Like me.... He thinks to himself. Again forgetting that Lin's a Mind-Reader.
The Real Shade wrote:
"Um," she said quietly, observing the patterns of her shoelaces, which she had mastered tying a few months back, "I'm ready to go now. Thanks for the food."
After Livvy was apparently done eating, she walked over to Drake and Lily. Now, they all were ready for this big old adventure. Drake was the one who felt like he should run this operation. He smirked and shouted, "All right, everyone! Let's go!" The next thing he did was walk out of the room, towards the main lobby. Everyone else had (Lily, begrudgingly, included) followed along without complaint. As they walked through the halls of the dorms, Drake thought about a few things. Like how Lily truly felt about his decisions. He had the feeling because of Lily's rather angered disposition; that she didn't approve of this idea. He briefly peered over at Lily to ask her a question, "Hey, Lil, you okay?"
Lily still had her arms crossed and looked annoyed as hell, "Yeah, I'm---" Before she could finish, it started to happen.
A monstrous loud boom, like a massive bolt of thunder was fired off somewhere, and it shook the entire school Everyone stopped in their tracks. What came afterwards, was something rather disconcerting. The power in the school went out due to the intensity of Claire's electrical burst. However, there were many backup generators, set in the vital areas of the school. Which immediately activated once the main power went out. The Hospital would have power like it always have, and so did other vital places in the Othergrounds, such as the tower. An immensely loud speaker on the Sparrowdale tower blared, "Do not be alarmed, Students. We are working on returning the power. Return to your rooms and resume normal procedures." The speaker blared loud enough for mostly everyone in the school to hear, and it went on for minutes. Before suddenly stopping, leaving only the sound of rain dropping against the dorms.
"Ahhh! What the hell was that?!" Lily shouted, shocked and confused about what happened. She looked around in the dark, frantically. She panicked quite a bit because of what happened. Before she cursed herself for swearing in front of a child.
Two things happened at the same time.
First, Drake transformed. For once, he wasn't going to use his Electrical Form. He was going to give this new form he got from Lily a shot. A bright, red light highlighted his nervous system and bones. Temporarily leaving the rest of his body normal. Then, a red, transparent glow covered the rest of his body, and made his eyes and hair glow a bright color. With his bones and nervous system glowing brighter, than the rest of his body. All of this light was actually the pseudo Meta-human Energy that Lily had flowing through her body, and utilized. His form of Power Replication allowed him to (Partially) transform into it. In this form, he would have little abilities--- Other than the ability to Super-Charge other Meta-humans. His form illuminated the area around him with a red light. "Heh, Lil. We should stick a bar of soap into your mouth." He jokingly says to Lily.
Second, Jake, being the Master Illusionist, decided to give the group light. The moment the light went out, Jake snapped his fingers (Loudly) and a large orb of light formed above them. This illusion orb appeared exactly like the sun, and had fire all around it. All it did was gave the group the light they needed to see-- Otherwise, it couldn't be touched, heard or smelled. Which made it a very easy task to keep it up and running long enough. "Whoa. Hey now... Is everyone okay?" Immediately Jake looked for Lin, who was causally in the back of the group. Calm as every. For some reason, Jake had the feeling that Claire was involved in this in one way or another. As there was one Electro-kinetic type he knew who would be responsible for such... Actions. He would keep this to himself, not to inspire any further animosity.
"I'm fine..." Lin says. She was a bit spooked by the power going out, but now that the smoke has cleared, she's much more comfortable. She stood in the back of the group--- Until she wised up and got closer to the group. Drake's power was... Impressive at first. She recalled saying that he's a Power Replicator, and this is one of the capabilities? She already has sort of seen Drake has a friend. Because so far, he seems to be quite nice.
"I'm cool." Drake says, with a bit of a chuckle in his voice.
After Lily had calmed down, she focused for a moment on what's going on here. There were no Meta-humans in the area other than them. Which was good, so far. Now that she can focus, there is something she wants to get off her chest, "Alright... We are NOT going out there until the power comes back on!"
Johnny
Celo The Impossible wrote:
"Well, I was planning on telling you after I won the game, but I guess since I've already told Victora, Hunter and Tom...."
Hunter... Johnny narrowed his eyes. He didn't pay too much attention to the other names Lexy had mentioned, but Hunter was the only one that caught his "Eye". Since he already knew Victoria, Drake's sister, and had no idea who Tom is. He heavily suspected Hunter for being the traitor because of his absolutely bullshit story, and how Jia-li suddenly goes missing. Johnny also suspected Lexy. He had started to piece together a little connection between them. Two traitors. Working together to cause havoc. It irritated Johnny. He kept quiet, waiting for Lexy to finish her statement.
For future reference, he kept a note of the name "Tom".
Celo The Impossible wrote:
"Perfect aim! I probably could've won on the first hit but I wanted to keep my power a secret until the end."
The very first words that left Johnny's lips were, "You cheating little s---!" He cut himself off, abruptly. His angered expression turned flat. Alright, there is no need to be upset. Good thing I didn't bet anything on this little girl before I knew this. Johnny thought to himself as he leaned over the pool table, with an arrogant grin on his face. He put together a plan for humiliating Lexy in his head. He would need to get Jake and Gabe in on it... It'll be epic. First he has to wait for Gabe to get back. However, before he could really put his plans into motion, a monstrous bolt of lightning shook the room. He could even see it out of the window. A massive purple bolt of lightning shot straight up, and disappeared moments later. The power went out, thus shutting off every single last electronic in the room. The music suddenly shut off, and so did the lights. A voice in the back of his head spoke, Claire... You moron... He frowned as he quickly contemplated his actions.
He was far too clever for this. He's seen this in movies far too many times. Lights go out, and a poor schmuck gets killed while no one is looking. That "Perfect Aim" ability she boasts could easily be used to throw a knife through his chest and walk away without a second thought. He was going to assume that Lexy had some sort of weapon on her. Something easy to toss around, like a knife. Unless she had some sort of gun hidden in that outfit. An immense amount of paranoia coursed through him--- Which is justified with a lunatic running around killing people. The last thing he was going to do was let his guard down and get killed by a fourteen-year-old girl. . The first thing that Johnny did was transform, the second the lights went out. Which could be done at the blink of an eye. A white light enshrouded his being, with a pattern similar to static integrated into it. A bright pulse of colors traveled across his being from left to right. His outfit was integrated into the design. Now, his body was surging with (Negative) Emotional-Energy. Granting him great speed, and resistance to damage. He could easily take anything that Lexy could dish out, without batting an eyelash. With the speed to dodge it before she could even throw it.
The Emotional Energy that he was surging with light up the area, allowing him to see Lexy clearly--- Also allowing him (and her) to see the surrounding areas. He made a finger gun gesture with his hand, and pointed it at Lexy's forehead. Ready to give her a mighty Devil Kiss... If she didn't comply. The first thing he said was, "Alright, Perfect Aim, girl, hands in the air! If I see you move an inch... You'll be eating a Devil Kiss." He spoke in an extremely threatening tone, like he clearly meant business. He was more than capable of defeating Lexy, as only high-class Meta-humans can contend with him. He spoke again, "Don't take this personally, stranger. It's all about survival. I've seen way too many movies where people suddenly get found dead after the power goes out. I don't think it'd be smart for me to let my guard down... I have way too much at risk."
This was rather extreme, holding a young girl at what amounts to be gunpoint. But, he didn't care. In a school of Meta-humans, no one, regardless of age, or looks, was dangerous. He was also attempting to illicit the emotion of fear, in Lexy. To give him power. "Now, I want to know what you're carrying on you. Knives, guns, anything like that. Tell me, or..." He kept his finger gun, and attention, on Lexy. Her Emotional Aura would tell him her true emotions, and give him a hint on her intentions.
No one that really mattered to him would judge him right here.

Lexy let out a squeal when the lights went out. She wasn't scared, moreso surprised. She hadnt been expecting such loud thunder out of nowhere. She could still see, despite the lights, because Johnny lit up, somehow. That's so cool! He's like a human flashlight!
Lexy was surpriseed yet again when Johnny began threatening her. With something called a devil kiss? Lexy wasn't sure what it was, but she didnt like the sound of his voice. Now she was feeling a little bit scared- she didnt want to get hurt- who would, anyways? Then the advice she had received earlier from Tom echoed through her head- everyone was having trust issues right now because of some intruder. Ooooooh, he thought she was-? No! She would never hurt a human being... Ever!
The best thing to do here was cooperate so Lexy did as she was told, placing her hands behind her head. She shook her purse off her shoulder while doing so. "Alrighty. I have some knifes I or from the kitchen back when the cute little Ooz thingies were attacking. They're in my purse," Lexy smiled. She had to be okay, right? She felt some relief. If she cooperated, she was okay. She wa cooperating, so he was okay. Lexy began Doug the rambling thing she usually did, "I ran into some illusion kid when I was getting te knives to help Hunter and Victoria, but he didnt trust me either. Though he didnt hold me at... Devil kiss things a if it were gunpoint but yeah. And then some mind reader came in and told him I wasnt gonna attack cause I wasn't and so on and so fourth."

"Eek!" Livvy yelped upon the earth-shattering roar of Claire's Bursting. She hunkered down, almost comically looking out from behind the table at the room around her: but even before Jake lit up the cafeteria with illusory light, the little girl's silver eyes were flickering with their own inner glow, and Livvy started breathing easier after seeing no one was in the cafeteria before even the big kids did. She slowly stood back up and saw that Drake had changed, all of a sudden, into a weird red thing: like, there was red light running all around him and red veins and stuff. She wasn't quite sure what it was, thinking his appearance to be rather strange-which was ironic, given the girl's current status. Half a second after her face lit up with shock and the squeal escaped her lips, a shimmering aura of green and deep blues began to dance around the edges of Livvy's being, and her eyes sparkled with a violent silver. The small light show quickly faded, and may have not drawn any attention at all after Jake doused the cafeteria with his illusions, and Livvy stayed quiet, nervous and unsure of what was going on.
One hand was clutched around Mr. Teddy, making sure she didn't get separated from him, and Livvy decided to scamper towards the center of the group. She didn't like being towards the back where something could come up behind her, and the other big kids seemed pretty nice and stuff. She moved slowly between Jake and Drake and Lin and Lily and knelt down, her bookbag brushing against a stain of "dried ketchup" on the floor. One thumb was being chewed upon and the other rubbed one of the teddy's ears for comfort. She peered around some of the older kids but didn't see anything out there. If there was anything Livvy was sure of his, aside from her peculiar ability to never get lost, it was that her vision was crystal clear, and there wasn't anybody in the cafeteria. Maybe it was just a bad thunderstorm outside? Livvy didn't see what there was to be worried about-it's not like those ooze things were back-but everybody was acting kinda scared, so Livvy figured (subconsciously) she might as well be scared too. She heard Lily say a bad word, which made Livvy giggle a bit, but beyond that, everybody just seemed really on edge. Livvy wondered where Dragonfly was, 'cause he was really helpful last time there was scary stuff happening and so maybe he could help them here too. She almost shouted out to ask if he was there, but after a moment of close looking, she decided he wasn't there. After all, earlier she'd been able to see just a little blur, like the shimmery mirage you saw ripple off a hot grill or the asphalt in the summer. This brought a totally unrelated memory of stepping onto the blacktop barefoot once, and the searing pain that had accompanied it. She cringed, then glanced down at her shoes. Nope. Still there. Whew.
"What's going on?" Livvy whispered to either Drake or Lily-she wasn't sure if Drake could hear her, now that he was glowing and stuff, and Lily was in a bad mood, so it was 50/50. The little girl occasionally flickered with apprehensive light, but not with the flaring regularity she'd had a minute or two before. Lord only knows what she looked like when she had a tantrum. Silently wishing for both her parents, and her new almost-invisible big brother Dragonfly, Livvy stayed on high alert, ready to bolt into the dark of the Othergrounds at the first sign of danger.

Willow, Nicole, Sandy, & Toby
At the sound of what seemed to be a loud explosion, the lights flickered out, and then came the announcement that the power was out. Nicole, with her powerful senses, perhaps benefited from the blackout. With no ambient energy to cloud her vision, she could see in the darkened halls as though it were broad daylight, and never since her time in the grounds had she seen so clearly. Unfortunately, the noise also defeated the purpose of her and Sandy standing guard in front of their friends' rooms. Either you could sleep through anything, or you would be woken up by the uproar. Nicole wasn't surprised when she heard movement in the room behind her, through the door, although she winced slightly. When Bones was sleep deprived, or injured, perhaps both, it showed, and she was even more abrasive than she normally was. Admittedly, Nicole still wondered why she hadn't told anyone about her powers, perhaps because it was something personal she didn't like to think about. Bones' personal scent of blood and bone made sense now, though, her powers were linked to them. Perhaps she felt humiliated that it left scars all over her body, or that she felt pain when she used her abilities. Bones just didn't strike Nicole as the type to show weakness in anything, she was tough.
Moments later, Bones came out of the room, "What was that?" She asked. Having for the time being ruined her clothing, she had changed into completely different attire, although it didn't stray very far from the original look, perhaps with a few more changes. Although Nicole couldn't see color, everyone else could, so the next time they saw Bones, they would quickly take note of her outfit. Having changed into a new pair of blue jeans, with slightly flared bottoms, they faded to white near the center of each patch of fabric, something done to be stylish. Although she still wore a modest swampy green camisole, this one had a pattern or design stitched onto the front of it. It appeared to be a line drawing of a peacock, done in black. Bones' usual brown hoodie had been replaced by a somewhat fancier article of clothing. A darker brown leather jacket, with four pockets on the front, and a golden zipper that was zipped up to above her heart, showing the top portion of the design on the camisole below. She had once again put on black sneakers. She folded her arms, scowling, "What was that noise?" She asked. Nicole just shook her head, "I don't know, but the power is out."
Toby, surprisingly, slept through the noise. Loud snoring still came from his room, and Sandy sighed, shaking her head as she saw Bones come out of her room and talk to Nicole in the distance. She felt uncomfortable without power in the school, it was dark, and there was a traitor running around. Bad stuff happened in the dark, and all she had was pheromone control. If biological stuff didn't affect whatever the traitor's powers were, then she would be in trouble. Regardless, as long as he was asleep, Sandy wouldn't wake Toby up. He couldn't overexert himself, or he would become extremely ill, if it didn't kill him. She didn't want to see that. Pedro
The toucan man looked up as the lights in the detention center's third floor suddenly went out, and the reinforced bars that had been holding him captive slid away to reveal that the whole building was empty. Yes, he was alone now, in a dark place, and he had probably been stuck in here the longest, even though the reason he was trapped here was completely innocent compared to other offenses. All he had done was play his accordion a little too loud, trying to tire out after-hours so he could sleep, and he had gotten in trouble. Pedro wasn't a bad person, he hadn't intended to disturb anyone else, or upset the officials who ran the place. Looking around, he stepped out of the boundaries of the cage. He didn't need to be stuck in there if it re-activated and closed shut. He had been in here long enough, and it already seemed too steep for playing an instrument at a ridiculous volume. He then looked around, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the dim lighting. Something was going on, the power didn't just go out. What was that boom he had heard? A bomb? Thunder?
Taking a deep breath, opening his large, colorful beak wide, he let it out, relaxing himself. He had to get out of the building, now. He needed to go down two flights of stairs, and then find the door to let him out. Looking around, he wandered between various empty cells, and a second before he could get very far, the generator in the building clicked on. The lights came back online, and the cells that were ruined, immediately re-activated, including the one he had just been in, the bars sliding up and closing. Sighing, Pedro found the stairs, and descended down to the third floor, eventually finding his way out the front door. He discovered that he was met by silence, something unusual in a school filled with mutants. Something wasn't right, and he immediately wondered what.

The great boom that echoed through the sub basement, along with the darkness above ground brought the dragon to the surface. He did not bother changing his coloration. His new color would match the darkness well. His old green body stuck out among those who could see in the dark. His new black and white color? He liked it, and it made it easier to be hide. The sub basement was an easy place to leave, usually. He stayed down there so he wouldn't hurt anyone. He didn't exactly stay there because of the scenery.
He hissed as the lights came back on to the dreary gray overcast that the Othergrounds had over it as it rained. The sudden change from total darkness to light was not something he liked. He didn't think he would even like it. Come to think of it he doubted that it was good for his eyes either. When his eyes adjusted to the sun light, he took in his surroundings. He was behind the hospital, where he had brought everyone down before. The man hole cover was beside him, to the side and completely off the hole itself. Rain was falling down and into the water below and creating small ripples with every drop. He felt the sensation of water against his muscular back and flexed, his shoulders tensing before drooping back down to their regular position. Dragonfly tended to stand in a half slouch, half straight position. This had nothing to do with the fact that he had bad posture habits. This was because his Trapezius muscles were much more developed to support a longer neck and heavier head. His back legs were springy and usually had some tension on them at all times because of his extended ankle join. His body posture had been altered to accomodate for the neck, head, and the added bonus of a fifty pound, six foot long tail that trailed behind his body.
He hugged his own body, his arms wrapping around his torso in an attempt to find warmth. He was warm blooded, but he did not do well in the cold. While he would not get sick, there was something off beat about him being in the cold that his body would not allow given another option. However, scales against scales did not conserve nearly as much heat in as exposed flesh like normal people had. He shivered, before bringing his arms back to his sides and moving on his way. He wasn't exactly that worried about himself. He was thinking more about what the others were doing. Drake and Victoria, he hadn't been able to interact with them as a friend in a little while. He also wanted to know if they knew where Livvy was. If they didn't know he would have to make sure she wasn't lost in sub basement or forest. Especially in the rain. While he couldn't get sick like that, she could.
Despite the fact that he disliked the cold that came with it, he liked the smell of fresh rain. The smell was refreshing in a way, and made him feel a sense of melancholy, which was a more elusive emotion. He remembered some of those who had died in his time here, and thought about how happy he was to be alive and here to help others stay safe. Speaking of safe, he wanted to check on Livvy. That blast had knocked the power out and could have injured people. So he moved, and went to the cafeteria. Drake and Victoria always went there at one point or another, at least from his experience on the surface.
He had not camouflaged himself, and he had forgotten this fact, as it was usually a habit for him to become a creature that was not seen but heard. Maybe it was because he was become more in touch with his human side after interacting with so many others. Or maybe he had just forgotten. He looked with wide, beady black eyes at everyone, he had realized he had forgotten, but he made no attempt to change. Everyone had already seen him. Now he was more worried about what Livvy would think. She hadn't really ever seen him up until now. He stuck his forked tongue out of his mouth and smelt the air out of nervousness. It wasn't something he did that often anymore. But now, he looked different. He was black and white, and his scale texture was different. "Hi...?"

I mean, his scales were the wrong colors, but otherwise, he was the spitting image of Quincy, Livvy's pet iguana, whose extreme laziness was mistaken by the little girl to be extreme loyalty. He was simply too nonchalant to bother running away or escaping his cage.
Livvy glanced down at his hand-claws and mulled over the sound of Quincy's voice, massaging Mr. Teddy's (who was really up for a costume change by this point: perhaps Sir Teddy?) head as a thinking aid. Finally, it clicked, and the little girl giggled, all anxiety melting away: they'd all been scared for nothing! It was just Dragonfly, although she was wondering why he wasn't all almost-invisible and stuff.
"Ooh! Hey Dragonfly!" Livvy said, running over to where he was and grabbing his hand tentatively for a moment-the little girl wasn't too frightened by the reptilian man, mostly because she was fairly certain it was Dragonfly, deep down-his blurred silhouette from earlier matched his appearance, and the voice was spot-on. Besides, he just reminded her too much of Quincy to really be too intimidating, 'cause Quincy was cute and always listened to her problems when she didn't feel like talking to Mr. Teddy. Which was never: she merely put the two them next to each other and a nice, group therapy session ("Hi, My name is Livvy-" "HI LIVVY!") for her day-to-day troubles, which were on par with the apocalypse in her mind. "We were just about to go on an adventure to a big house somewhere but they almost didn't want me to go but then he-" she stuck a finger towards Drake and continued retelling the last five minutes at breakneck pace "said it was okay for me to go but now we're not going because the power's out and there was a bunch of lightning or something outside." she inhaled, then paused, looking at his ragged orange pants and then his black and white "skin". "No offense or anything but how come you aren't wearing pants?" Livvy asked, perhaps thinking that a complete wardrobe overhaul was in order, but she quickly realized Dragonfly didn't have hair for her to braid-that was the extent of Livvy's knowledge as a fashion designer, beyond to wear as much pink as possible. Aw man. Maybe I can braid Lily's hair later if she stops being so grumpy. She'd just gotten the knack of it a few weeks ago an-"Ooh! Hey! Dragonfly you should come on the adventure with us! We're gonna go to a mansion and it's gonna be great." This time, Livvy didn't bother seeking Drake or Lily's approval, 'cause Dragonfly was a grown-up and all and grown-ups didn't need other grown-ups' approval. Right? Livvy frowned. Things were so much simpler, albeit more horrifying, down alone in the basement. She would take the complicated and scary social scenarios of the big kids over the eldritch machinery and faceless oozing masses, though. Livvy shivered, and hoped dearly they wouldn't return in her nightmares.

Lily, Drake, Jake & Lin
The Real Shade wrote:
"What's going on?" Livvy whispered to either Drake or Lily
"Heh, your guess is good as mine, Liv...." Drake looks over to Livvy. Under the shining illusion that Jake had created above them, he stayed observant. Ready to combat any dangers that appeared. He certainly didn't want anything to happen to the girl--- Or anyone here, really. He quickly looked around after speaking. "I guess we'll have to save that adventure until later! Haha. We gotta turn the lights back on..." He says playfully to Livvy. Before he looked up at the illusion that Jake created, "... Um, all the lights." While even thinking of going there in the first place wasn't too good an idea, Drake was smart enough to know when to put it on hold. Their next objective should be trying to turn the power back on. Which would be a task they'll have to do without Livvy. He'll have to drop her off with someone responsible, Victoria was the only girl he had in mind for that task.
After Drake finished speaking, Lily decided it was time to force her way upon the group. She wanted to investigate a bit, and check up on the group. Just to make sure that they haven't been murdered by the Traitor. She lifted her head up and spoke, leader-like as always, "Alright. We're going have to put that silly little 'adventure' on hold. C'mon we have to check up on---" Before she could finish, she sensed a Meta-human approaching them. Appeared to be of average strength in terms of power. However, the very presence of this person terrified her. "... T-There's someone there!" As she looks over in the direction of the Meta-human she's sensing. She then points in that same directions.
"Wait what!?" Drake asks Lily as he gets closer to Livvy. To shield her from harm using his own body.
The group looked on to witness their guest....
... It was none other than Dragonfly.

"Hi...?"
"D-Dragonfly...?" Drake says, having recognized his lizard friend, despite his new color scheme. Somewhat confused, and relieved at the same time. Drake started laughing a bit, as he looked around at the rest of the group. Dragonfly really did startle the group, just by showing up. He spoke again, "You scared us a bit there... With the lights going out and..." Drake trailed off, he had the feeling that everyone was uncomfortable. He wanted to lighten up the mood--- Since nobody here barely knew of Dragonfly. Drake said the first thing that came to mind, "Um, you look different. When did you get that new paint job? Heh." Dragonfly could say the same thing to him, since right now Drake was glowing red.
Livvy ran over to Dragonfly, seemingly she has already regarded him as a friend. Which was nice. Lily and Drake both trust Dragonfly, in a way. For their own reasons, and with varying levels of trust. Except, Lily was much less vocal about her faint amount of trust for the Lizard-man. I should fix that... Lily thought to herself. In order for Lily to lead him (And the rest of the cast) out of this mess, she would have to make sure that they trust her. In return, she would have to trust them.
The Real Shade wrote:
"Ooh! Hey! Dragonfly you should come on the adventure with us! We're gonna go to a mansion and it's gonna be great."
"Actually..." After the last words left Livvy's mouth, Drake spoke. He did like the idea of having Dragonfly on his side. Given that he's the person that Drake trusted the most here--- Second to Victoria. He spoke to Dragonfly "...That might actually be a good idea, Liv. Having Dragon on our team really ups our chances." He put his hand behind his head and started lightly laughing. He nonchalantly peered at Lily. Who gave him a narrow and hostile glare. Drake figured that he should try to focus on what Lily said about their adventure, "... But, just, um, heh. We have to wait for the lights to come back on... And see if everyone else is okay." He put his hands back at his side, before his facial expression went neutral. "I do want to check up on my sister..." Drake just inserts.
There was one thing that Johnny said that Jake listened to; Dragonfly wasn't one to be trusted. Drake may be Dragonfly's friend, or something close to it, but there's no way in hell that he was going to drop this illusion. Especially with a little girl and Lin at risk here. All it takes is one slip up, and he'll going to be getting ripped to shreds by his friend. Jake scowled, and he looked directly at Dragonfly. All he has to do is distract the beast if he's hostile, giving everyone else a chance to run away. Which was one thing that Jake could easily do. Not buying it. Jake thinks to himself. After learning that Dragonfly is here, he wasn't going to take any chances. With his illusions, he easily had the best defensive capabilities out of anyone in the school. Easily giving him the ability to defend everyone here. He immediately dropped to his knees and put both hands, palms out, on the ground. He crafted an illusion. A smooth bubble of bullet-proof glass formed around himself and Lin. Giving them protection against everything that Dragonfly could dish, and allowing them to see what's outside at the same time. Jake stood straight up. Everyone had blindly trusted Dragonfly, but not Jake. He has heard the rumors, and the lizard-man is a major suspect in this traitor business.
"Jake..." Lin hesitantly says to Jake. As she looks at the bubble that Jake had created, confused as ever. She was reading Dragonfly's mind, as everyone else spoke to him.
"... It's for your protection..." Jake replies, briefly looking at both Lin, then Livvy. Poor little girl's going to be the first to get killed if he goes berserk. Jake simply shakes his head.
"Uh, yeah. We really should go check up on everyone, this mission can wait until the power comes back on." Lily inserts. Really wanting to get her point across.

Haha... Looks like I was correct. Johnny thinks to himself as he gives Lexy a rather arrogant and narrow glare. He still kept his attention focused on Lexy at all times, also keeping his fingers pointed at her, constantly ready to give her a Devil Kiss if she even tries anything. He felt a bit justified in knowing that she actually IS carrying around weapons that could have easily killed him. Johnny was reading Lexy's emotions while he kept his attention on her. Johnny had caused Lexy a bit of fear, likely because she doesn't know of his potential, or all the ways he could kill her. The primal fear of the unknown... I love it. He thinks to himself. "Now, aren't you a nice little girl? Heh. Just keep complying and you'll get out of this... Almost safely..." I want your cooperation, not your life. He thinks. Now he's wondering where Gabe is, she should be back by now. If she was here, he could order her to grab Lexy's bag.
However, there was no one else. Only himself, and the stranger--- Which means he'll have to handle this himself. If Lexy reaches down to grab the purse, he would be right on top of her. Probably giving her the most badass round house kick to the face in the process.
Strangers don't get shown mercy. Regardless of age, gender or role.

"I ran into some illusion kid when I was getting te knives to help Hunter and Victoria, but he didnt trust me either. Though he didnt hold me at... Devil kiss things a if it were gunpoint but yeah. And then some mind reader came in and told him I wasnt gonna attack cause I wasn't and so on and so fourth."
"Illusion kid... That'd be Jake, my brother. Another person who you shouldn't try N' f*ck with." Johnny spoke, telling Lexy who Jake was, and even telling her that he's his brother. Since he already told her that Gabe was his sister, there's no point in lying about Jake right now. He was unsure of why Lexy was bringing up this story--- And normally, Johnny wouldn't give a single f*ck. Lexy had brought up a few things that caught his attention. Mostly this "Mind reader." If there is a Telepath among the group, he needs to single him/her out immediately and find out his or her capabilities. Because having a Telepath on his team could be pretty useful. Johnny's iris on his right eye started glowing a bright yellow. "Now, Lex... I have a few questions for you--- Before I let you go." He says, before nonchalantly coughing. "First, tell me all about this 'mind reader' and I also want details on your good friend... Hunter." Johnny wanted to know if Lexy knew anything about Hunter, mostly what he may be doing right now. He started laughing, as he smiled wide, showing his teeth. Johnny spoke again, and spoke sharp as venom, "And I really wouldn't lie or go around facts. I'll know if you are trying to cheat--- Plus! You literally have no choice! It's either you be a nice little school-girl, or... We'll be here for a little longer..." You'll be a very dead schoolgirl! Playing darts in heaven with Cory Monteith! Johnny thought a joke to himself with a chuckle. He wasn't going to go as far as kill Lexy... While he may be vicious, there is a line.
Besides, killing her, when he's the one in control, would make him very unpopular among the students who have the gall to call themselves "morally righteous." Such fools.
Charles
The Education Wing
On the uppermost floors of the Education Wing, was a very wounded Charles Blackmore. It was funny, the moment the letter to the Othergrounds came, he was super excited to go. Since, he could finally meet his goal of collecting the powers of strongest Meta-humans there. And get a power for every situation. He arrived at the Othergrounds a few days before the chaos. When the raid actually started, Charles was fortunate enough to be in the woods outside of the Othergrounds, and used the power of blind-spot expansion to hide within the woods. It was a perfect hiding place. Allowing him to remain hidden from everyone until the madness was all over, which felt like years to Charles. Hearing the screams, gunshots, and pain will haunt him for ages. After it was over... He felt cold... There was no one here. He was all alone. No Drake or Victoria to give him the helping hand--- When he needs it the most. Now, he was all alone.
Now, he just wants to escape the school that used to be called paradise. Alone. With no help from any allies. During the previous day up until now, Charles has been scavenging the school. Looking for a way out. He noticed there was a large amount of activity going around, but he stayed out of their way. Just because he had no idea. However, that plan fell apart when he went inside of the Education wing. The very moment he stepped in, he was attacked by an Oozium clone. A vicious battle ensued as he had to give it everything he could. Slashing the pink slime monster up with a cloud of glass, while taking several hits in the process. He managed to defeat the Oozium alone, in the most epic way possible.
Now, he was on the upper floors of the near destroyed Education Wing. With almost all the windows gone, as he used them all to kill the Oozium. Charles sat down in a class-room, right by the missing window. Sitting there as the rain dropped. It soothed him, there was that relaxing feel of watching the rain fall, and just after a vicious battle. He was all worn out from the fight, and really couldn't bear himself to get up and back to his hiding spot. During the fight, he also sustained some injuries from the Oozium, some of which are still bleeding, and hurting. Staining his attire with crimson. He wish he could drag himself to the hospital, but he's so weak. Anyone could kill him--- If he doesn't kneel over.
So for the last few hours, he was here. By himself. The rain dropping kept him company.
Perhaps he should get out of the window just in case someone just so happens to be a sniper.

Crystal jumped out of her chair when the lights went out. Her mind was in a full state of panic, wondering where the sound came from and then trailing of to what could happen to everyone if the traitor were in the room with the lights out. Luckily Drake was able to keep light in the room-in a different form then she had seen him in when battling. Crystal nodded at him in thanks. Her heart was still thudding against her chest from the events. It was just thunder- why did it freak her out so much?
Crystal's chain of thought was broken when Dragonfly appeared ina new color. She smiled at him. She didn't think the lizard guy was all that bad- he offered to bring her above ground when the Oozium attacked, after all. Crystal didn't think her opinion mattered much, but voiced it anyways, "I like the idea of Dragonfly joining us, also." Crystal looked back at Jake. It was obvious by the protective barrier he randomly formed that he didn't like the idea. Oh, well. Tough luck.
--- Lexy ---
Lexy looked at Johnny curiously, keeping herself in the stiff position so she wouldnt get "shot." He was asking about the mind-reader and Hunter? Why is that? Oh well, they did nothing wrong so it woul be okay to tell him. "The mind reader I don't know much about, but Jake seemed really protective of her. It was so cute!" there wasn't really much else Lexy could say about the girl, so she continued to Hunter, "I ran into Hunter and Victoria after I woke up at the hospital. They were trying to figure out who killed their friend. It's just so sad how someone murdered her." Lexy felt sadness for a few moments but pushed it aside. Best not to focus on the bad, right?
"Alrighty, so then we began heading for the security room to check thesecurity footage things but it was lovked, so I said that if it's locked then someone has a key. So we began to leave when we ran into that cute gooey thingy. They sent me to get a weapon cause I had none. The end." Lexy smiled, done explaining. It was pretty much what happened. there wasn't much else to say.

Nick
Weird sh*t was going on. The usual for him really.
Wake up in some weird place his dad had been talking about sending him to for safety reasons. Black Fall had apparently become a bit unsafe. Fine. Charles disappeared, which Caden was happy about when he brought him the news. His mentor had taught him a great deal about meta humans, and in return Nick spread it to others. He also did a few things for Caden along the way, but that was beside the point. Now he was here. He was happy that Caden hadn't tasked him with anything recently. He was told a day in advacne that he would be going, so he left a text on Caden's phone saying he'd be going to some place called the Othergrounds and that he WOULD be back. He was able to pack his penny board, longboard, guitar, and other personal belongings such as his computer and clothing in a backpack and a suitcase. Now he was here. He remembered some people arriving at his door, giving him a shot, and then suddenly he was at this place at the Othergrounds. The message the Afro-Slenderman had given him upon his entree was still in his mind.
"Hello children! Do not be alarmed. We welcome you to the expansive Sparrowdale Academy of the Genetically Superior, or as our true name; Othergrounds. You were sedated so that you can be safely transported to the facility. Do not be alarmed further as the medicine we used to sedate you is 100% harmless! 95% of the time you will panic when brought to a strange place against your will, so we are giving you a moment to calm down............... Long pause complete. You should be calm now lest we need to sedate you again! Now, outside the door should be a qualified teacher waiting to walk you through our induction process to get you started with your new and amazing opportunities with your gift. We advise you to keep fighting to a bare-minimum or face exile! That concludes part one of your glorious induction! A teacher will be with you right now!"
He, because he knew that they were coming, was not as surprised and didn't need a second sedation. Some robot thing that was called an 'eye' had led him to his very own dorm. It was simple, a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a kitchen that combined as a living room complete with a bar area and stools a TV and couch, and a single bathroom. It had plain white walls and a gray rug floor. It even had it's own microwave and stove in the kitchen, not that he really knew how to cook more than some chicken and noodles (or maybe Mac 'n Cheese). He left the door open behind him, he might as well meet his neighbors if they came out or were around. He set his longboard against his bed, and carefully placed his backpack on his bed. He tossed his penny board on his bed and then unzipped his back pack. Inside it was a traveling case filled halfway with snake. As soon as the lid to the traveling case was taken off the massive eighty inch snake lifted it's head out of the cage and wrapped it's upper body around Nick's arm. As it slithered up, Nick took his suitcase and lifted it over his bed and set it down. He opened it, and took a large glass tank out of the case. The Tank took up most of the suitcase. In the bedroom there was a book case, so he lifted the tank up and placed it on the book case. He placed a few things in the tank, such as a little platform made of wood for he snake to climb on, and filled the bottom inch with water, before placing the large snake in. He set up the heater light, and left to wash his hands in the bathroom, and walked over to the couch. He didn't both watching the TV, he really didn't watch it anyway, and he doubted anything the Othergrounds got would be that good. He took his guitar out of his case, and took a guitar pick out of his pocket.
He moved his pick over to his guitar and strummed slightly, making sure it was tuned, and tightened one momentarily before feeling satisfied. He set down on the couch, and cat cross legged. He placed the palm of his hand on the couch and pushed up, and then started floating. He was much better at using his powers than before. Some training with Caden as his coach had done that. He was better at controlling his powers at the same time now, although he still required a good amount of practice. As he floated upward, he turned himself upside down and drifted comfortably to the ceiling. He begin to play the guitar part to Semisonic's 'Closing Tim'. He had memorized the song notes, and he had practiced the song plenty of times. So it came smoothly and easily.
He hit a wrong note as soon as a massive blast went off. He winched momentarily, and furrowed his brow as the lights went out. He waited a few minutes, before the lights came back on, ambient slightly dimmer, but on never the less. He looked at it strangely, before continuing his song. "Closing time... every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end..." he sang. He voice was not incredible, but it was average and easily bearable, especially with him playing the guitar as he sang the note. He wondered how Faith was doing. She was the main reason he would be busting out of this joint. They had just started dating about a month ago. Now he had been taken here. Caden was second, she was first.

Dragonfly
"Hey kiddo." Dragonfly said, kneeling down and lifting the girl up, and put her over his shoulders. "It'ss hard to find ssize twenty pantss that aren't hussky." Dragonfly said in an attempt to be humorous. He needed long pants to reach his ankles. Most pants that size didn't fit his waist size well. "Sshed my sskin. It wass that time of the month." Dragonfly replied, smirking slightly to Drake. "I think a lightning god iss more than enough, but a dragon would definitely help." Dragonfly replied to Drake, giving a small smile to him. "Sorry for scaring you." Hopefully everyone would be all right with him joining them. He was about to speak, when Jake created a large glass bubble around him and a new chinese girl. He shuddered to himself. It would offer no protection if he went bad. While he shared no memory with his bad side, knowledge of his abilities was shared. His bad side new about the acid, and he doubted the bullet proof glas would offer much, if any, protection. He raised his hands in the air a little to signify that he meant no harm.
"I really dont need another Gabe. Sso I'm going to ssay that I wont get in your way at all. I'll look after Livvy, that'ss it. If you don't want me around I can leave." He honestly meant no harm this time, and he didn't feel like he was going to go bad any minute like he did in the Sub-Basement. Then again, his instincts were what probably put him on edge, as he probably would've recognized the danger as it came. He allowed himself to lower his arms as he was distracted by Lily and her statement. "I agree. Let'ss jusst... hang tight for now."

Pedro
The door at the entrance to the dorms suddenly jolted slightly, and opened up a small fraction; a long, colorful beak peeking from behind the corner. After a moment, the beak tilting to various sides, it opened, and words came from it. "Ah...hello? Is anyone in here? Hay alguien aquí?" The other language he was speaking, while for the most part not understandable, appeared to be Spanish. The animal-meta then stepped past the door, so that the upper half of his body was visible, clearly like a toucan, but with a crest similar to a cockatoo. He looked around, before spotting a group of people, one of which was a giant reptile man, a meta-human with animal mutations, much like himself. "Ah! People! Thank goodness." He stepped out from behind the door. "Perhaps you can help me. My name is Pedro, and I was sent to the detention center for playing my accordion too loud after-hours. I was only able to escape when that power surge deactivated my cell. When I got out, nobody was there, Poof! The grounds are empty! Do you know what has happened while I was gone? Did I miss something?" Although his sudden appearance would probably be regarded as suspicious, Pedro's questions were out of sheer lack of knowledge, as he had no clue how crazy the school had been since he was imprisoned.
