Appearance: Hair color: Blonde with unatural red highlights eye color: blue nationality: white Appearance: I’m taking another look at Claire, from a less Gothic style. Claire is a pretty girl with lightly-tanned skin covered in freckles and short, rather boyish blonde hair that catches the sunlight in such a way that it blinds you, though she usually wears a black knit cap over her hair, so only the ends stick out. She has a heart-shaped face with stunning blue eyes that sparkle like jewels, and very red lips, the only makeup that Claire usually puts on besides a gross amount of black eyeliner which makes her eyes stick out. She often has a spaced-out look on her face due to a crazy little thing called booze, which she seems to drink a lot of. She’s a girl of about average body style, with a relatively skinny body, a slightly larger torso, and a decent amount of cleavage. However, it is obvious to anyone that Claire is no delicate flower.
Attire: I’ll try to describe this IC-side, but she dresses in a kind of urban skater fashion, wearing boyish clothes and the same pair of converse skateboarding shoes every day.
Personality:
Innate personality: Claire is an interesting girl psychologically, as she acts, dresses and thinks like a boy. The word that most catches people these days’ minds when talking about her’s is lesbian. Claire is bisexual, actually, and often has problems with that fact. She acts very tough and rebellious all the time to impress people, mainly other women. She is the type of person who walks in the door that reads “do not enter” just to get her friends to laugh about it. I’m not going to go into anything more sexual than that, as that would be inappropriate. Another word that often catches people’s ears about Claire is “alcoholic”. She does indeed drink a lot, a habit which looks cool with her clique of rebels. I’ll add more in the IC, but there’s a lot more, for lack of a better term, tragedy in Claire’s mind. Yet, Claire has a sensitive side as well. She likes a lot lighter music than the dubstep and metal that her friends listen too. She plays the guitar a lot and is extremely good. That’s pretty much all Claire does when she’s not drunk or stoned; that and write. Claire is secretly a poet, and has many works authored under the name of “Evelyn Ross”. She also skateboards, in case you didn’t get that from her appearance.
Outward Personality: Ic-side, but you probably get the picture from her innate.

Abilities:
Power class: energy
power: As usual, Claire is the lightning goddess. Some drop bombs; Claire Sparks drops lightning bolts. As usual, Claire’s neurons produce ten times the average electricity of average neurons. This built-up electricity causes her to be extremely jittery, as if she had drank a lot of coffee. She can also send this electricity out in controlled blasts, frying enemies. The lightning makes a loud cracking noise, and moves at light speed, electrocuting everything in her path. Claire can constructively use her powers as well. She can power electrical devices by touching them, making her a kind of living battery.
weaknesses: Claire’s main weakness is that she can only generate electricity when moving. She has to move around some to make electricity, so if she has been sitting still a long time, is asleep, or is tied down tight enough to completely restrict her motion, Claire becomes harmless. Also, if Claire is exposed to a lot of other electricity (outside of herself) she can overload and give herself a heart attack.
Burst Potential:
Alpha- This burst allows Claire to control electricity in other objects besides herself (not counting humans). So, she could, for example, cause lightning bolts to come out of a light, or control a computer from afar.
Omega- The Discharge. Whenever someone pours water on Claire while she’s using her powers, this ability is activated. She cannot activate this ability by herself. When water is poured on her while she’s generating electricity, Claire’s body automatically sends out a huge wave of electricity. Anyone within about five feet of her is dead or really close right there, and anyone within twenty is about to be hurting. This discharge causes electrical objects within thirty feet of claire to right out explode, and short circuits electrical objects within a half mile of her. However, this discharge hurts very badly, burns her skin, and causes Claire to afterwards go into what is basically an epileptic seizure where she begins to kinda flop around until her body generates enough electricity to properly run again, as when she uses this burst, every ounce of electricity in her is used up.
Delta- This burst allows Claire to send out a jolt of high-amperage electricity which can interfere with bodily functions (namely the heart). This burst takes a while to charge (1 post), so it’s a good idea to get out of the way when she starts to use it. other: Carole - Spoiler:

Physical Appearance: Carolina looks like your average millionheiress. She is tall and thin, with flawless caramel skin and slender, elegant limbs, like a dancer. Her face is slim, with bony cheekbones and a rounded chin. Her eyes are veyr vibrant, and her skin impeccable thanks to all the makeup she smothers it with. Her lips are full and bright red, which she says is natural, but is obviously done with a ton of makeup. Her hair comes down to the small of her back, and his always perfectly glossy and straight, without a single hair out of place. It seems almost as if she never looks bad, as she uses half her weekly $1,000 allowance every week to assure that she is the most attractive person on campus at all times.
Attire: Carole always wears the newest, most beautiful thing that any french fashion designed comes up with. The moment a new dress comes out, she has to have it. Her favorite color to wear is red, as it goes well with her skin tone and nails, which are always painted red. She always has a pair of diamond earrings on, as well as a diamond necklace given to her by her father. She also always wears some sort of high heels, though the color and style changes daily.

History/Bio: Carole Elias is the youngest daughter of the billionaire night club owner Javier Elias. Her entire life, she's been pampered, pruned, and spoiled by her dad. She was always his favorite, and she always got what she wanted. She spent her early adolescent years in night clubs drinking, grossly underage but never reprimanded because her father saw a halo above her head and angel wings. Carolina Elias was the perfect little girl, and she never did anything wrong in the mind of her father.
However, one day something happened. Carole awoke to the blare of sirens and she was pulled out of bed by her father. Her mother had been hit by a drunk driver and killed in front of her own mansion in Brazil. Carole's father fell into spiraling depression, and suddenly, he turned very sour. So, when Carole found out she had powers at age 14 (much to her father's displeasure), she told her dad about a school that took in mutants and protected them from the world. Javier told the press his little angel was going to a boarding school in America, but would not tell them the location of it. So, she went to the Academy, and has lived there three years.

Power Class: elemental, I suppose
Power: Carole has the power of alchemy; she can transform one substance into another. For millennia, man has worked with their machines and presses and lava cauldrons to do what she can without breaking a sweat; turn things into gold. Carole isn't limited to gold, however. She can turn any substance into another with no real limit to what she can turn it into. Touching the object makes her power work quicker, but anything relatively close to her can be manipulated simply by her thinking about it.
Weaknesses: For such an incredible ability, Carole has some serious weaknesses. You see, splitting atoms to turn them into other atoms and molecules to make new molecules isn't exactly supposed to happen. So, when Carole overuses her powers, things start to happen. Kind of like in a nuclear reactor, the excess protons, neutrons, and electrons that Carole expel are sent whizzing around, eventually colliding with other atoms and causing weird side effects. When Carole overuses her powers, things often start breaking. Very rarely, these reactions cause chemical radiation which is very dangerous and is the reason why Carole keeps a Geiger counter in her purse. If she overuses her abilities, this radiation builds up and could possibly kill her. Also, Carole's powers don't work on living things, as they are too complex to alter.

Her skin is a moderate caucasian color; slightly pale, but not paper white. She has a very French-looking face, slim with soft features. Her face is just as thin as the rest of her body, and is framed in wavy blonde hair that is normally tied up in a french twist. Her eyes have a very soft look to them, and give off an aura of arrogance. She usually wears a pair of silver ring earrings.
attire: IC, but Taylor has a very rich style, like Carole. She also comes from a lot of money, and wears very fancy clothing most of the time. Her favorite color is silver. The only things that usually stay on her are her white beret and her LeVian chocolate diamond ring which has her family crest on it; a pitcher pouring water.

Power: Taylor is hydrokinetic; she has the power to control water. This power runs in her family, and has for five generations. Because of this, she has a lot of training with her powers at home, and was only sent to the school to protect her from the anti-mutant community (total backfire). She can blast spurts of water at enemies with enough strength to stun adversaries. However, she can also control water constructively. She has the ability to breathe underwater, as well as creating geyser shields made of running water which deflect bullets.
weaknesses: Salts. Salts are Taylor’s worst nightmare; they draw water to themselves, and keep Taylor from being able to use that water. Taylor cannot control saltwater or brackish water, nor can she control the water in anything (animals, plants, or humans). Also, Taylor’s water makes her pretty much a big lightningrod. She draws electricity to herself.

Name: Alejandro Elias Nickname: Alex, Jekyll and Hyde gender: male age: 18 height: 6’0” Weight: 260 lbs in the day, 160 lbs at night.
Appearance: hair color: black Eye color: grey in the day, scarlett at night. Nationality: Grey in the day, blue in the night. Appearance: Alejandro is the brother of Carolina. Because of that, he also comes from a billionaire family and looks the part, more or less. It depends on when you are looking at him, you see, as his power changes what he looks like. In the daytime, Alejandro is a very large, bulky man with skin the color of granite. He looks like a statue, as every part of his body is covered in rock. His face in both forms is slim and tired-looking, as if he doesn’t sleep a lot. His eyes are rimmed on the bottom with grey from his lack of sleep. His hair is cut long and is swept to the right side in a beiber-like fashion. In the day, this hair is stone grey as well, but at night, it is jet black. In the daytime, Alejandro grows a pair of large wings, made out of stone, which he is able to move, but cannot fly very far with them (their use will be explained later). In the nighttime, Alejandro’s frame gets much smaller. His skin turns a dark blue, going on violet, and his hands grow sharp claws. His ears get slightly longer and pointier in this form, like a bat’s, though he usually pushes them back in such a way that it’s not unattractive. At night, Alejandro’s teeth become sharp and pointed, like a little devil. Also at night, Alejandro’s stone angel wings transform into black bat wings
attire: Alejandro dresses very well, like his sister. He normally wears a suit, though when on a casual outing, he will often wear a polo shirt or Hawaiian-style shirt. At night, Alejandro often wears a fedora on his head, though the color changes to match what he’s wearing. Whatever Alejandro wears on his body always has a slot for him to stick his wings through.

power class: Mix of cosmic and anatomical
power: In simple terms, Alejandro is a gargoyle. During the day, his skin is covered in a very heavy, thick layer of stone. This causes him to be very slow, but makes him extremely resistant to damage. In this form, he is immune to most physical attacks, as well as some elemental attacks (lightning, water, fire), though he is very receptive to cerebral attacks, as well as Extra-sensory attacks (psionics, basically). In this form, Alejandro can stay still for very long periods of time, and has a pair of stone angel wings. These wings and his ability to freeze himself allows him to disguise himself as a statue for long periods of time to spy on enemies. At night, however, Alejandro changes. At exactly sunset, his body glows white, and turns into his night form. In his night form Alejandro is extremely fast, as well as being incredibly strong for his size (more so of both than normal mutants). In this form, he has a pair of bat wings which allow him to fly extremely quickly, and he grows a pair of sharp claws on his hands which he can use to badly wound enemies. he becomes extremely nimble in this form, whereas he is much slower in his stone form, and can climb objects very easily. His hearing also becomes very strong at night because of the way his ears are built. He can also see extremely well at night. In this form, Alejandro is resistant to cerebral and extra-sensory attacks, but doesn’t have his armor, so physical, elemental, and energy attacks do much more damage to him.
weaknesses: Well, as I said above, each of Alejandro’s forms have their own weaknesses. In his daytime form, Alejandro is very slow and heavy, and is very receptive to cerebral and extra-sensory attacks, whereas at night he can be injured pretty badly by physical attacks, as well as elemental and energy attacks. When in daytime form, Alejandro cannot see in the dark at all, and his vision and hearing are both below average. Alejandro’s night form is what you have to worry about, though there are ways to get around it. Bright light pisses Alejandro off at night, as well as making seeing difficult, but it doesn’t really hurt him. The trick is UV rays; ultraviolet light causes Alejandro to turn into his tank-ish but weak daytime form. Also, at night, Alejandro can be deafened easily (ie, Sylvia) because of his acute hearing (though in the daytime it doesn’t affect him much).

Hair Color: light brown with a few dark brown strands of hair here and there Eye Color: brown, but he likes to wear red contacts for some weird reason Ethnicity: Caucasian Physical Appearance: Jack is average for a guy his age, with a tan from hanging around outside. His hair usually hangs in his face in front of his eyes and sticks out in different directions. Even though Jack has light brown eyes, he likes to wear red contacts to confuse people. He finds it entertaining when people judge others with looks. He is a little muscular, but it’s hard to tell with the clothing he wears. Jack has a few freckles on his arms and a couple on his legs and neck, but none on his face. Jack has a scar on his arm that was created when he was around eight. Pretty much Jack had poked the neighbor’s dog one-too-many times so he had received a little “prize” for his efforts, courtesy of the dog. Jack is usually seen with a smirk on his face. Attire: Jack is someone who loves to confuse and trick people, and so he wears different things that would make people quickly assume things about him. As I mentioned earlier, Jack has red contacts. He wears them on a regular basis in attempt to try to make people think he’s a Meta human (and he is). He also wears a dog tag necklace. On one side is a lightning bolt sign, and on the other side of the necklace is his name and date of birth. He wears a black leather jacket with some red fur around the collar. He wears the jacket unzipped usually with a white shirt underneath it. Jack also wears different army pants. Some camouflaged, dark green ones, pretty much any that looks like it’s from the army. He tucks in the pants to his boots- combat boots, of course- and thus completes his “outfit.” No, Jackson is not from the army- and he probably will never join it- he just likes to confuse and trick people.
Personality
Innate Personality: Jack thinks like any normal guy his age- trying to flirt with random girls, hanging with his buddies, all that junk- except his mind is more lenient to trickery then others. He enjoys seeing people disorderly or surprised. Seeing someone like that is basically what he lives for. Outward Personality: Though he might not think some things are that amusing at times, Jack is almost always seen with a smirk on his face. It’s obvious that he doesn’t take many things seriously, and many find that trait he has annoying. He is often times seen looking like he is just waiting for the perfect moment to set a prank. Overall, he acts immature.
Hobbies/Interests: Pranks, tricks, etc. He also plays a few video games, but prefers socializing with several people. He is also into a few sports- soccer, mostly- and goes to the park every now and then to practice. Skills/Talents: I don’t know how many times I need to stress this- trickery! Jack is good at tricking people! Though he may be seen with a smirk on his face a lot, he could be feeling anger or sadness or any other feeling. He is usually happy, though. Also, Jack is good at soccer, considering he does it during his free time at times. He is good at finding things to talk about, but people at times find his inability to take things serious annoying.
Goals: Jack’s main driving force is probably just wanting to get in on the action. If he sees anything big going on- a fight, some drama, anything- he wants to be near it just to say, “hay, dude, I was there.” Pretty idiotic actions, if you ask me, but that’s the way he is. History/Bio: Jack was around 14 when his mom married Faith’s dad. (He’s three years older than Faith so it was only about a year after Faith’s mom divorced her dad.) He, his mom, and sister moved in with his new step dad. Jack had always had a problem of misbehaving and not listening to his mom, so it really ticked her and Jack’s new dad off. Eventually the last straw was pulled when Jack did a prank that landed his step dad in the hospital. After a quick call by the step dad to his ex-wife, Jack was sent to Black Falls to live with a woman he barely knows and her daughter (Faith). He stayed there for a month, annoying the heck outta them before returning home and is now in the othergrounds.

Prized Possession: Jack doesn’t have many “prized possessions” but he is fond of his dog tag necklace. Though it wouldn’t leave him heartbroken if he were to lose it, he just enjoys wearing it. He thinks that if people were to put together his “red” eyes, along with the lightning bolt on the necklace, they would think he could control lightning or something. The thought amuses him and so he wears the necklace solely for that.

Power: Jack’s power is of deceiving others. He can make people believe that one thing is actually another. It can only look like something relating to the person’s emotions, though- If Jack wanted the person embarrassed, the object will look like whatever embarrasses the person. If he wishes for the person to be scared, whatever the person is scared of will be what the object looks like. Simple, no?

Weaknesses: There are several draw backs of Jack’s ability. He can only use his ability on one person at a time, so if he were to be fooling one person with his trickery, other people would still be seeing the normal scene. (he makes a person think a chair is their biggest fear, which may be a spider, other people still see a chair) Also, for Jack to be able to use his ability, he must be within about fifteen feet of the area he wants to use the ability on. Also, though the scene Jack creates is relating to emotions, Jack also can’t see what the object turns into- it is only seen by the person he is using the ability on. Jack can’t use his ability on nothing but air, also. The object he is using the deceit ability on must be something you can touch- it can be anything from himself to a chair that he uses the ability on.

Desmond is rather lanky and thin, as well as rather pale: he doesn't come off as intimidating in the traditional bulky sense, but there is still a rather chilling look about him. He often wears sunglasses (at night) and just looks like he's up to something. He walks with a cane, which seems to be due to a physical disability rather than an attempt to look stylish (although he does make the infirmity look gooooood). Desmond isn't exactly a lady killer, but he's not awful to look at either. His lips are pale and, were his hair not black, he could be mistaken for an albino. Desmond's eyes seem to have a peculiar quality to them, if you look past his sunglasses: this is mostly due to the fact that he has six eyes. Desmond's jawbone is rather pronounced, this is mostly due to the fact his spider "fangs" are what are commonly mistaken to be his jawbone. Desmond moves briskly and sharply, with a slight limp due to his left leg-he has, however, learned to accommodate it by this point in his life.

Desmond is nothing if not stylish. He's nearly always wearing a tuxedo, and his current garb for the Othergrounds is that of a standard black tux. He's wearing a black tie and a red scarf, which seems...rather out of place. Shined black shoes click-clack across the floor as he walk (along with the cane), and he has some high quality sunglasses that help conceal his rather strange eyes. Desmond often takes time to stop and check how he looks, adjusting things that are off in this regard. He has a single gold ring on his left hand.
Personality
Innate Personality: Desmond's morality is more "friend based" than "ethics based". To explain, he views relationships and loyalty as far more important qualities to have than simple moral righteousness. Desmond is generally courteous to others, preferring to be polite rather than confrontational, but is capable of being absolutely diabolical if he needs to be. As said previously, right and wrong for Desmond are not black and white, it's based on what must be done to protect those who have protected him. He doesn't see many objections to lying when necessary and is rather pragmatic, willing to do what it takes to suit the scenario at hand. Hobbies/Skills: Reading, fencing, polo and tennis. He's skilled at dressing well, sweet-talking others, lying wildly at a moment's notice, and spotting subtle nuances others give off. Favorite color:

Power:
Desmond is an animal meta. Unlike the others, however, Desmond's animal traits are not always present (aside from his eyes). Desmond's primary characteristics: the four additional legs that sprout from his torso and the mandibles that extend from his jaws, are able to be retracted within himself and hidden rather easily (particularly with the tuxedo: unless you know what to look for, the pincers merely appear to be a rather protruded jawline). While in eight-legged (technically, eight-limbed) form, he's far more agile and dexterous, able to scale walls, cling to ceilings, and move with unerring agility. His legs boost him up to eight or nine feet in height, with his real human legs dangling uselessly for this period. The suit must somehow be contoured to his power, because there are no noticeable gashes when his spider legs burst out. Curious.
Likewise, his pincers are capable of inflicting a rather devastating bite. A very potent venom runs in Desmond's saliva, administered most efficiently through the pincers. When bitten, the venom causes numbness and paralysis, spreading from the site of the bite. Depending on the individual, it causes hallucinations and near full-body paralysis within several hours. Fortunately, it isn't incredibly lethal: he has to administer a considerable amount for lasting harm to be caused, although arachnophobia and muscle spasms are common after-effects. The venom causes intense pain as well, followed by the numbness. Pleasant!
Desmond's power also works a bit....metaphorically. While he doesn't launch webs a la Peter Parker, he is rather adept at spinning webs. Desmond is a skilled social manipulator, able to lie flawlessly and convincingly, and he is keen at setting traps and creating schemes. Desmond is a brilliant tactician and prefers, just as his animal namesake would prefer-he'd rather set a trap and let his opponents catch themselves in it than be drawn into a direct confrontation. In a physical fight, he relies on speed, deception, and poison to cripple his enemies, preferring to deal a crippling wound and slip away, returning when his opponents are incapacitated. Spiders tend to flock to Desmond, and he is capable of controlling them at will. Likewise, he repels insects with his mere presence.
Weaknesses:
Desmond does not possess the incredible strength of other metahumans. Granted, he is rather strong by normal human standards with his legs, but he couldn't take most of the other animal metas. His eyesight is also a bit poorer than most people's, due to spiders having inferior vision to humans. Finally, he is rather susceptible to fire.

The black eyepatch and the scar that barely peeks out from underneath it permanently cover her left eye, which means she gets through those vision charts at the doctor's in half the time as normal people!

She's equally likely to flash a dazzling, killer smile at someone, or sway her curved hips a little more than is necessary when walking as she is to stay cold and aloof, issuing only a grunt in acknowledgement of someone's presence. She carries a certain hardness to her: she's headstrong and independent, and it shows in her mannerisms and appearance. Luce wears a small golden rosary, which is perhaps the last vestige of her faith, but normally doesn't dress too stylishly. Her wardrobe choices lean more towards practical than fashionable, although she's at least unique. For her stay at the Othergrounds, she'll be rocking a flannel shirt beneath her vaquero-style jacket (vaquero-style is inaccurate: it's the real thing) and, to top off the look, a handkerchief tied around her neck (apt to be lifted up over her face during a fight). She's fond of a desperado hat, deep brown and weathered from the years. She normally wears jeans, a heavy gunbelt, and boots that have walked and ridden just as many miles as they have kicked asses. Luciana's not familiar with the term "concealed carry" and tends to carry her armament rather blatantly, which, on the one hand, serves as a great deterrent, but also tends to reveal her hand, so to speak. Luciana's pretty, if a bit off-setting to most with the eyepatch and the cowboy get-up (which, most come to realize, isn't exactly a get-up). She tends to scowl when alone, but usually puts on a contented smirk or overly-cheery grin in public.

Outward Personality: Luce is flirty, snarky, and jovial, but beneath it all, she's cold. Luce was not benefited with the privileged upbringing of most of the cast of the Othergrounds, and it shows in her diplomatic skills. She's used to playing hardball and treating paranoia as a natural mechanism for making it through the day, so she's a bit out of place in some social settings, and is likely to cause tension within in the group. However, she's got a sense of honor, and tends to stick true to her word if given, but she's just as apt to double-cross someone or try and wriggle free through a technicality. Ultimately, she's watching out for herself (and, indirectly, her brother), and anyone who gets in the way of that goal is merely an obstacle to be overcome-or removed. Such is her outlook on life, and it will continue to be her outlook until she reaches an obstacle she can't overcome or remove.
Hobbies/Skills: She's a great horseback rider and a crack shot. Additionally, she's skilled at hablaing the Espanol, and is doing alright with English after a few years of dealing with it. Luce has done her fair share of illegal CENSORED, and knows her way around drugs, liquor, lockpicking, cigarettes, and how to deal with criminal types. History/Bio: Here are the broad strokes: the emergence of metahumans in less developed places, such as Africa, the nastier, gang-ridden places of South America, had a far different reaction than places like the US or Europe. Some of the militias in Africa weren't above using children before, and children that could control fire or call down thunder were merely an added bonus. Likewise, Luciana's early childhood was spent on her family's ranch, but when financial catastrophe forced Luce and her father into less-than-reputable lines of work to cover loose ends, she started putting her natural gifts-all of them-to good use. Through means she's not entirely sure of, she's wound up at the Othergrounds, and plans on busting out and getting clear of the US before the DEA or similar organizations catch up with her. How exciting. Shame I can't write normal characters. They're all traumatized CENSORED-ups.

Power:
First, Luce can control centripetal, centrifugal, and "rotational" energy (I didn't have a good grade in Physics, so cut me some slack with the science behind this). This mostly manifests in her ability to control anything that spins or follows a curved path: she can amplify the force behind it, accelerate it, etc. For example, were she on a loop-de-loop roller coaster, she could make that CENSORED go at a couple thousand miles per hour if needed, or if she were, say, firing a gun, she could cause the spin of the bullet to alter its trajectory wildly. She normally employs this in the form of superhuman accuracy with her firearms, empowering her bullets to out-spin silly things like gravity and lead time. Her usage of these forces will defy logic/scientific explanation, because I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. She could, for example, cause bullets to spin far faster than normal, throwing off their path, or amplify the force behind a primitive sling to crush a brick wall.
Second, Luce has killer reflexes. Just to play off the theme going with her powers already, let's say it's because her eyes can "flip" the image from upside-down to right-side up waaaay faster than normal people. Actually, no, we're not gonna say that, that's bullshit. Regardless, she's a quick draw, and moves with incredible agility and dexterity.
Finally, and this is not a true power in the sense of it being from a metahuman source, Luce is skilled. She's been working with cartels for quite some time now, and such a line of work tends to separate the wheat from the chaff. Luce, while denied things like literacy beyond the basics, schooling past middle school, and the healthy psyche of a normal child, did learn how to survive.
Weaknesses:
No depth perception. No peripheral vision on her left side. Poor literacy skills in Spanish and literally none in English, she only knows how to speak it. Furthermore, she doesn't have the best people skills, and may be psychologically traumatized a little. As far as her power goes, she gets vertigo from excessive use of her powers and, well, her power is pretty situational. I can impose more weaknesses if necessary, but I'm struggling to find one that comes to mind.

Years later; after she had manifested her abilities things changed fast. She carries on the trend of looking like her mother did when she was her age. She stands at 5'8 feet tall, weighing 138 pounds. Since she's been on the run for a few years keeping her distance for a few years, she doesn't exactly have the healthy physique that she should have. Nope, she's pretty sickly with pale skin and a skin and bones build. She's Caucasian of Irish descents with the aforementioned pale skin. Lemontea has distinct, brightly colored blonde hair that's usually concealed under her hoodie. Some of her hair is brushed over her forehead. There’s a light spattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose and upper cheeks. Her face is fairly rounded and gets narrow going down to her chin area, and she has a small and hard to notice cleft chin. Lemontea has a rounded face, which can be considered pudgy. Her cheeks are very rounded and her cheekbones stick out a little bit. The bridge of her nose is very small, and her nostrils are very large and wide. She might be considered pretty if she didn't have ugly scarring starting from the right side of her neck and up her face in the form of what would appear to be thin claws. It's from a "previous" incident.

Personality
Hobbies/Skills: As it was heavily rammed down you, the reader's throat; she lives her life traveling from city to city on the run (until she settled in the Othergrounds) since an incident years back. She's been on the run for two years now and has picked up many survival and self sufficient skills which allowed her to live. While she doesn't like to admit it, she also has some illegal skills such as knowing how to hot wire a car (taught to her by a friend), pick pocketing, and pick a lock. Lemontea is very good at sneaking around the school, and knows the place very well. She also knows plenty of hiding spots around the school grounds. Lemontea also knows her way around a gun, and can draw and shoot a pistol pretty quickly.

Power Class: Power
Power: This power is inspired by One Piece. At will, Lemontea can protect a round field around herself that weakens the abilities of other Meta-humans. This field gives off a wavelength that interferes and ultimately weakens the abilities of whatever meta-human is inside of the field. It doesn't work instantly; as long as a meta-human is inside the field their powers will get weaker and weaker. How they weaken depends on the classes and type of power. Powers that are activated (such as elemental powers, super-system powers or transformations) will have far less strength behind their abilities until it's useless. Passive powers (such as enhanced senses) will also be weakened until uselessness. Inside the field Lemontea's field has also has the ability to weaken attack that enter the field, such a bolt of lightning will be a quarter of it's original strength once it enters her field. While she or anyone else is in the field they'll be immune to most cerebral (their minds won't be able to be read) and extra-sensory powers (they simply will be immune to it). This field also makes it hard for those with super senses to sense whatever is inside of the field. Lemontea can immediately weaken a meta-human's power to minimum immediately just by touching them with them with bare flesh. This ability also allows her to bypass things such as a force field by walking into it or another meta-human intangibility just by touching them. This ability gives Lemontea an edge when facing other Meta-humans.
Lemontea can also fire blasts of this Meta-human interfering energy. Which will weaken powers more and more as she fires them at foes. Lemontea can also, at will, put up a barrier that will keep Cerebral-types out of her head.
Weaknesses: Naturally, the first weakness is that it only affects people inside of the field, or affected by her energy. People outside are completely safe, and all someone has to do is get out of the field before their abilities go back to normal. Lemontea's field has difficulty weakening Bursts, since they are extremely powerful and will overload her field. Making it useless against a mighty Burst. Easily the biggest weakness is that she can only affect meta-human abilities, unless the user needs their ability to survive, no harm can come to them through her ability. Anyone with weakened abilities will still be able to walk up and punch her in the face and/or beat her down. Her field cannot make people who have permanent physical mutations lose them and revert back to their normal human form (For Example; it probably won't make Nicole lose her bird wings) without a Burst, that is. While it may not be a weakness, some Meta-humans are unhindered or completely immune to her power because of the nature of their power.

The Nightingale is an interesting contradiction when it comes to appearances: she's both physically unimposing, and yet gives off a very intimidating aura. She may be a featherweight, but Anastasia can damn well hold her own against opponents several weight classes above her-as several misbehaving students have found out. Anastasia is slender and lean, possessing the type of build you'd see on a dancer or gymnast (fitting, given that she spent some time as both). She moves gracefully and absolutely silently, feet falling in a perfect rhythm. Her movements are deceptively quick, and she tends to go unnoticed unless she draws attention to herself. Her face is pale and, well, rather pretty, although normally covered up by a mask. The few students who have seen her without the mask on (or in her borderline-spandex suit) enjoy making snide comments to her; she enjoys putting them in armlocks until they loudly announce they were totally kidding and it will never happen again ow ow ow
Anastasia typically keeps her hair in a no-nonsense ponytail, hanging back behind her head, or occasionally lets it fall lazily around her shoulders. She doesn't bother much with appearances-one, she spends most of her time in full combat gear, and two, she doesn't seem particularly interested in appearances, or social conventions in general. She doesn't talk much with the other faculty members, but she does enjoy the company of the Eyes, for some reason. Her lips are typically chapped from many hours out in the cold, and occasionally bleeding from where she habitually bites them to pass the time while on the clock tower or patrolling the fences.
Attire:
The Nightingale's suit puts Solid Snake to shame. Her gear is perhaps a power in and of itself, given that the Nightingale wears her armor like a second skin. A deep purple, the Nightingale's suit resembles a blend between a ninja's sneaking garb, a spec ops soldiers' ensemble, and the protection a police officer going into a riot would wear. Kevlar weave, ceramic plated patches cover vital areas, and the suit is designed to lessen the impact of blunt impact and be resistant to blades or bullets. Of course, ideally, the Nightingale never gets shot at or stabbed in the first place. Furthermore, a holster and sling hold her various weapons, and the utility belt on her waist and the rig stretching up to her shoulders holds spare magazines, knives, flashbangs, first aid gear, and several other useful items: all of which she's had plenty of time to stockpile from her time in the armory.

Outward Personality: .... Hobbies/Skills: She enjoys whittling, writing music, spending time with animals, photography, poetry, and archery. As far as skills go, the Nightingale is a very skilled markswoman, with techniques and form suggesting formal training. Furthermore, she fights in a very brutal, efficient manner that martial arts afficionados would recognize as some of the advanced forms of krav maga, making her a potent threat up close as well-superpowered or no, the human body still has a few very exploitable weaknesses. She's also very skilled at infiltration, bodyguarding, and tactical thinking: hence her role as the school's security guard. Additionally, she was a skilled gymnast and dancer for some time, which doesn't sound terribly useful in this RP, but her flexibility and discipline aren't to be discounted. History/Bio: No one's entirely sure. Her skill set and mannerisms suggest some form of military training, but the songs she's written also imply some kind of musical background. Not to mention her martial arts prowess hints towards several years minimum in a dojo. The Nightingale has several powers which, frankly, aren't really related to each other.
Firstly, she's capable of discharging needles from her body. These needles are made of some form of metal, no one's entirely sure what kind. She fires these needles at rather disproportionate speeds from her palms, and can "spike out" from any point on her body-say you grabbed her from behind, you might find a rather sharp pain as she turned into a human porcupine. Of course, when wearing her suit, this would tear it to shreds, so she prefers to keep it to her palms.
Secondly, the Nightingale has a rather curious effect on shadows and darkness. They seem to deepen when she's around, and....reach out to her. The Nightingale can do nothing so blatant as manipulate shadow or darkness *glances at Caden* but rooms she's in tend to darken subtly over time, and the shadows mask her in more ways than one. They hide her metaphorically as well as physically: her scent, her presence, her memory; when the Nightingale draws into deep shade, people are very apt to look over her, forget whom they were hunting...
Finally, the Nightingale can exude an aura of total silence. This is useful for both sneaking about, as she makes literally no sound, and is also very psychologically rattling-very few people have experienced total silence before. In fact, none of you have. There's always been some ambient noise. Total deafness being imposed upon someone who isn't suspecting it is very unnerving, and studies have found that prolonged sensory deprivation can lead to paranoia, hallucinations...all sorts of fun things. This is accentuated by the way the shadows seem to dance when Anastasia's around.
Weaknesses:
The Nightingale is mute. The Nightingale's bones also lose their strength the more she relies upon her needles; however, they heal back more quickly. Finally, the Nightingale doesn't care much for direct sunlight. It doesn't pain her or weaken her, just is very annoying. She'd rather stick to the dark hallways of the Othergrounds.
