I hope some of you remember this, and TheOperator brought this to my mind... THE RETURN OF EXOSKELETON. If you don't remember or even know what it is, here ya go:
In the year 2015, a nuclear factory was built. It powered many reserves, but polluted the air. People protested against it, but all cases were dropped. The leader of the factory, who's name remains unknown, gained a lot of profit from this factory. He became a multi-millionaire, and became more greedy. One day, the whole project collapsed. The factory exploded, destroying the entire city it was built around. The radiation levels were extremely high, resulting in the mutation of your everyday small animals. They became much larger in size, and behavioral and physical changes were made. Fleas became pack hunters, ants becoming forest- destroyers, and other insects and arachnids super-sized. This is the final turning point in human history. This is Exoskeleton.
That is the premise of the story. Exoskeleton takes place in a dystopian, desert world where the last humans struggle to survive. Brother turned on brother, and the last civilized humans resorted to underground cities that took years of dedication to make. There are three main cities in the United States: Hope (Population: 30,240), Rattown (Pop: 20,370), and Utopia (Pop: 304,300) and many other minor cities. Many have yet to be named.
You are a person who lives in one of these main cities. All are connected through tunnels filled with bandits and robbers called the WormHoles. Every year, exactly 100 people are forced to the top to scavenge for supplies for one year. For the whole colony. You are one of these people. The goal is to survive and scavenge a LOT of supplies and send them back down "The Hole".

I hope you don't have Arachnophobia... Because here comes the list of bugs that have severe changes:
- Fleas: Pack Hunters. Burrow under the ground and wait for prey to come close, then they jump out, latch on, and eat you alive. Nasty little guys. About three feet long.
- Bees: No longer follow under a queen, and now mate on their own. They are scouting predators, swooping down and carrying off their prey and eat it alive. Wasps are like this, except they sting their prey when they catch it.
-Centipedes: 20 feet long or longer, massive jaws
-Venomous Spiders: 10 foot leg span at most. Nearly invisible Web-spinners,
-Non-Venomous Spiders: Stalkers. No Webs. 15 foot leg span at most. up to 40 mph when sprinting.
-Scorpions: Up to 18 feet long. Venom in smaller species. Burrowers. Stinger can slice through metal.
-Wasps: Pack hunters. Can hypnotize when looking for too long in their eyes. Stinger fueled with venom. Eagle-sized.
-Mantids: Up to 6 feet. Long, spiked arms. Surprise predator. Can drag the body weight of a man into the treetops.
-Ticks: The worst parasite. EVER. Will stick on the back of it's host and nearly impossible to get off, even when dead. Up to 3 feet long. Will drain the blood out of you in a matter of days.
-Mosquitoes: Drawn to blood in swarms. Like a school of piranhas in size and behavior.
-Beetles: Nearly every species is very hostile. Can get up to 15 feet in length. Jaws extremely strong.
-Giant Rats: These were the only other mutations besides the Arachnids that survived. These are extremely rare, but attack in packs and are very dangerous. They can get up to 6 feet in length (not counting tail) and have a 95% chance of carrying rabies.
-Mutant Lizards: depending on the species, they can get up to 30 feet long counting the tail. Some will have a venomous bite, while others are extremely fast. Running up to 70 mph, these lizards are the only animal that are really keeping bugs in their place.
-Ants: The main reason why the world is mostly Deserts. A whole mound could take out an entire forest, or an entire city in hours. They will get up to the size of a Mini-Cooper and have very strong armor. Yet, it if kill the Queen, the whole Mound will die just like in modern times.
-Roaches: Cat-sized nocturnal scavengers. Wary of humans. Dangerous when cornered.
-Pillbugs: Large, heavily-armored bugs. Some humans use them as pack animals to carry supplies.

Name: Harrison (Harry) Boggs Age: 14 Sex: Male Bio: Harrison, being born in Utopia, lived a better life than most. But that doesn't mean it was a good one. He lived on the outskirts of the city, with his mother. His father left him when he was born. He was very sky and reclusive once he learned about that, and was a social outcast.
When he was chosen, he nearly cried. He never considered the thought of him being chosen, since so many people lived in Utopia. He was never trained, making him weaker than most.
Personality: Friendly and sensitive. All words describing Harrison. However, he is very trustworthy, taking after his mother.
Appearance: His brown eyes really show with his pale skin, and his brown hair is tossed to the right. He has very skinny arms and a thin body. He is very malnourished and looks like it too.
Other: I wrote the rules, so of course I read them. He carries a 44. Magnum with one clip (6 rounds) and a bat with a nail hammered through the top.

Name: Edgar Black Age: 16 Sex: Male * Bio: Edgar was born in Rattown, the second-oldest of a six children. He was always the good kid when he was growing up; he would never talk back, never spoke unless spoken to, and never really did anything bad. He was of freakishly above-average intelligence, but was relatively antisocial so he never had many friends. When he was twelve, Edgar was chosen to go scavenging. He came back a completely different man. While he was out there, Edgar had seen what true evil could be at the hands of the fleas and centipedes. When Edgar returned, he obviously had PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). Many people said that he had gone completely insane. Though he still was quiet and tried to be a good son, Edgar often became prone to fits of rage where he'd throw things or scream at people for no reason. Twice he sent one of his siblings to the hospital with cuts or burns from projectiles that he threw at them. Yet Edgar felt no remorse when he did so, and if he did it was well-hidden. He began to get a reputation for the town criminal and would often spray paint incoherent morbid messages on the walls of buildings. Yet, through all that, Edgar managed to fall in love. He met a girl his age named Rose, and they began to go out. People said that Edgar was only sane when he was around his lover, and so many petitioned to have them get married so that no one would have to deal with Edgar's crimes. what actually happened was not nearly as fantastical. In a raffle, Rose was elected to be a scavenger. Edgar volunteered in her place, as he knew that she would get as messed up as he was if she went scavenging. So now, once more, Edgar has found himself in the desert scrounging for food and ducking the monsters.
* Personality: Edgar is...odd. He is incredibly antisocial and sociopathic, meaning that he doesn't really...feel bad about doing bad things. If he stabbed a man and then watched them die, he wouldn't really feel bad about doing it. Added onto that is a bad case of OCD and very mild psychosis, causing him to obsess over certain things like symbols or articles of clothing (he wears a gas mask constantly for absolutely no reason and is afraid of the number twelve). These aren't necessarily helped by his insomnia caused by the PTSD-induced dreams he has every night about the last time he scavenged. Edgar will often see vivid hallucinations at times, causing him to do crazy things like fire bullets at centipedes that aren't there. Because of these problems, however, Edgar is extremely ready for combat at all times. He is absolutely vicious to an almost animal-like degree in combat. He normally works alone, but will work in a group if he realizes that he can either (a) take down all of the group members and steal their spoils later or (b) benefit so much more than anyone else in the group that it's worth his time. Just remember one thing; Edgar Black is not someone to be trusted. Ever.
Appearance: Edgar's appearance is as odd as his personality. He is around six feet tall, and is skinny with wiry musculature. He has a very athletic build like that of a tight end. Edgar has very tanned forarms and hands, but the rest of him is always covered in clothing and thus never gets any sun whatsoever (worst tan lines EVER). Edgar wears a black button-up jean jacket with matching black jeans that are speckled with tears and nicks. On his feet are a pair of tan steel-toed work boots, and on his hands a pair of tough Carhartt-style work gloves. The most curious feature of Edgar's appearance is his mask. Edgar wears a world-war-two-style leather gas mask which completely covers his face and head (like the one in The Empty Child). The only time he takes the mask off is when he eats, something that he does far away from other people so that no one can see his face. Edgar does this for a few different psychological reasons, but if I put all of the puzzle pieces together for you then you'd never have any fun.
Other: ew spiders. Edgar carries with him a footlong machete and a semi-automatic Remington 1911 R1 with five bullets. He is infamous for figuring out how to make weapons out of everyday objects as well, and is said to have once built a blow torch from a gas burner and used it to slaughter a pack of fleas.
(2nd)Name: Miranda Ponder Age: 14 Sex: female * Bio: Miranda is the younger sister of Edgar’s girlfriend Rose. She was born in Rattown, the middle child of a family with three girl children. As her family was rich, she lived a life of luxury for most of her days. Shielded from the idea of what was above their subterranean city, Miranda never knew how cruel the surface could be. She thought all her life that the men and women who were selected to find supplies for the surface were all incredible comic book-style heroes; that is, until she and her sister were selected. Edgar took the place of Rose, and the last thing he did before all the Rattown scavengers went up is promise to Rose that he would protect Miranda from danger. Now the two travel together on the surface, scavenging for supplies and watching each other’s backs.
* Personality: The number-one word to describe Miranda is innocent. She’s got a touch of those childlike dreams of heroism still in her head, a dash of the prissy rich girl, a tablespoon of that motherlike caring nature, and three cups of fear. Miranda is constantly in a state of perpetual fear; she’s traveling around a godforsaken desert with a madman in a gas mask, constantly under attack by a variety of monstrous bugs. She’s nowhere close to being used to all of this fighting for survival, as she comes from the home of a rich family who never had to fight for anything. She hates seeing anything in pain, and has been known to put dying monsters out of their misery (or as Edgar calls it “wasting an arrow”). She is well-versed in medicine (her mother was a doctor), and is always trying to help other scavengers (or as Edgar calls it, “getting to close to a good-for-nothing asshole who wants to kill you and take your supplies”). Once or twice, she even tried to treat monsters who Edgar injured (she once re-attached a hornet’s stinger with gauze and it almost killed her). Needless to say, Miranda has the common sense of a fruit fly. She has no street smarts; the only thing keeping her alive is Edgar watching over her, making sure she doesn’t kill herself with her own stupid. Miranda is extremely religious (much to Edgar’s disapproval). She believes that the monsters haven’t killed her yet because God is protecting her (to which Edgar responds “Do I look like God to you?”).
Appearance: Miranda is a short skinny girl, about 5’6” and 120 lbs. She has the body type of a gymnast, with slender-yet-muscular limbs and a strong core; she looks incredibly agile. Her skin is slightly tanned thanks to UV lights in her house’s garden, another perk of being rich. Her hair is light brown and is normally tied back into a ponytail. Miranda has light blue eyes and cheeks that are slightly plump, adding to the innocent look. Her nose is small and rounded softly on the end. Her face is pockmarked with a few dots of acne which she freaks out about whenever someone mentions it. She wears a white tank top under a forest green zip-up fleece hooded jacket (she takes this off during the day) and a pair of ripped light blue skinny jeans (thanks to a rather grabby centipede). On her feet she wears a pair of grey-and-white free running shoes. Slung across Miranda’s back is a wooden bow as well as a quiver with a few arrows in it. In the pocket of her hoodie is a rosary. Other: ew spiders. Miranda is an excellent shot; she is extremely accurate, which is odd since she’s never had any sort of formal weapons training. Edgar taught her how to use a bow and how to use throwing knives, which are her main weapons (she has four throwing knives in a pocket inside her hoodie). Miranda also carries a hunting knife with her for close combat, though she’s not very adept with it.

Name: Serenity Spain
Age: 16
Sex: female
* Bio: Serenity is from Hope and is an only child, so she is a bit used to attention. She was very social and known for being pretty athletic; she would participate in just about every neighborhood game and win almost every time with her athletic abilities. Overall, Serenity had a happy child hood…. At least happy enough for a person living in a world where people have to live underground XD She understood the dangers above ground, but would push the thoughts to the back of her mind, thinking that having to go above ground would never be an event that would happen to her. But then she was chosen in a raffle and no one tried to take her place. Serenity, since being raffled, has been trying to get stronger and her personality since the incident has been changing.
* Personality: Serenity, while she was sociable and had a happy life, since being raffled has become more saddened. She believes that the upcoming journey is going to kill her since she has no experience, so she walks with less spring in her step, as one would say. Serenity is now something of a pessimist, seeming to be unsure of herself. Serenity still smiles and socializes, but not as often as she used to. However, despite having a feeling she is going to die, there is still that striving for survival Serenity’s instincts have that most people feel, as well. Serenity is still a kind person and willing to help. She doesn’t get angry as easily as she gets saddened. Serenity is patient with tasks and will take her time to get things done right.
Appearance: Serenity is average height for someone her age, standing at around 5’4”. She weighs around 113 pounds and is very fit from physical activity and holds a feminine look to her appearance. Serenity has wavy, dirty blonde hair that extends a few inches past her shoulders. She usually keeps it pulled back in a braid with a red ribbon. Serenity has pale skin (as is probably common for someone who’s lived underground their whole life) and light blue eyes. She has a scar above her right eyebrow that is from an incident when she was around two so Serenity doesn’t really remember how she got it. There’s nothing else really noticeable about Serenity. She has a pointed chin, an average-sized nose and eyes, et cetera.
Clothing wise, for the trip Serenity is going to be wearing some faded jeans that are tucked into a pair of brown combat boots. She is going to be wearing a red v-neck T-shirt with a black jacket. She will also be carrying a faded red backpack that will carry a few supplies.

Strengths: Serenity is athletic and patient. She is willing to help when needed and generally kind and slow to anger. She is also good at planning ahead.
Weaknesses: Serenity may be slow to anger, but she will quickly become saddened in situations. Also Serenity is not the best at accessing her surroundings.
Supplies: Currently Serenity is carrying a glock 26 with five rounds and a dagger that is about seven inches long. She is also carrying a small supply of food for traveling and two water bottles. She also has some bandages and antibiotic.
Name: Joshua Bostic (but he prefers to be called Josh)
Age: 17
Sex: Male
* Bio: Josh is from Hope and was a childhood friend of Serenity’s. They weren’t best friends, but they were pretty close. He was overall an average kid- no high intelligence, superb athletic ability, et cetera. Josh was, like Serenity, sociable. That may have been why they got along to well. His childhood wasn’t the very best, though. He was the second youngest of four; he had two older brothers and one younger sister. His dad he doesn’t really remembered because he was raffled when he was three to go above to find food, but never returned. As for his two older brothers, one became sick and died and the other, while he became wealthy, wasn’t that close to Josh, his mom, and sister. When he was fifteen and his sister 13, she was raffled to go above, just as his dad was. Josh, in a quick decision that was moved by the fear of losing his sister, stepped in for her. So he went above to find food. While above, Josh changed. He began to think that the only reason any of the citizens of the major cities were sent above was to help keep the population down so that they wouldn’t have to pay for construction to expand their city borders. Thus, Josh decided to not return and instead lives above ground, helping scavengers he sees but otherwise avoiding other contact with the world below.
* Personality: Josh, while his ideas of below may seem unorthodox, is actually kind. He is really optimistic and helpful in situations. He may not like the government and ways of the cities below ground, but he still likes the people so he helps Scavengers whenever he sees them. He is often times trying to joke around, but will be serious when he needs to. He isn’t the best at focusing on situations, however, and at times may space out, going deep in thought.
Appearance: Josh has a medium skin tone and shaggy black hair. He is of average height for someone his age and is a bit underweight, but not to an unhealthy extent. He has a few noticeable scars; a long slash on his right arm from a spider almost stepping on him (though he finds the scar good because it was better than being bitten) and a scar on the palm of his left hand from fighting the same creature. He has dark brown eyes. He has a gas mask on that just covers up his mouth and the device would look like a doctor’s mask if not for the filter sticking out of the side.
As for clothing, Josh usually wears a plain white shirt he finds in one of the houses he’s explored. He wears a dark blue jacket with it that he’s recently acquired, as well, to help with protecting from sand. He also wears some jeans (currently he’s wearing a pair of dark blue jeans that are free of any tears) and a pair of sneakers. Fastened to the belt on his jeans is usually a homemade weapon of some sort. He has an old leather bag he carries around.
Other: ew, spiders!
Strengths: Josh is now an experienced fighter since he’s been living above ground for a while. He is optimistic and jokes around a lot, and can be strict when the time calls for it. He’s really experienced with above-ground survival and his experiences have made him very resourceful.
Weaknesses: Josh often times will space out and can easily get distracted; He is mostly average in different areas- he’s not super smart, not super strong, not blah-blah-blah. His resourcefulness makes up for it, however.
Supplies: Currently Josh’s weapon(s) of choice that he’s carrying is a strip of cloth that has glass, nails, and other sharp objects sticking through it. He is also carrying a large butcher knife that he found in a house he’s gone through and a plain lead pipe. In his bag he has some food, a container of water, and a few knives that he keeps for if he loses all of his weapons in a fight. TheOperator
Name: Jedidiah Age: 25 Sex: Male Appearance: Jedidiah
His hair is short and spiky blond, however, he rarely takes the hockey mask off, which hides his face and some of his hair. In the wasteland above ground, the sun beats down on his body, making him inclined to wear light armor, such as the light, but incredibly strong scorpion armor he has on hi shoulder and his large baggy pants, which he uses to protect his legs and body from the harsh desert like land's sandstorms, and the stingers, pinchers, and claws of the mutants insects and mice. He has a large tick midsection strapped to his back, which he has cleaned out, that holds water. The tick's head acts as a faucet, allowing small amounts of water out, just enough to drink.
* Bio: At the ripe age of fifteen, he was sent to the surface to retrieve wax. He was retrieving wax for a failing city. He was retrieving wax for Hope. He knew that if the monsters didn't get him up here, that when he returned, he would be put in the army to fight for the others against his will. He unintentionally got lost in a sandstorm before he could choose what he wanted to do, and is presumed dead. He was an orphan from the start, he doesn't remember who raised him to when he was old enough to fend for himself, he doesn't remember the one who he loved, he doesn't remember his cities name. You can forget a lot in ten years. He is a prime example of that. In the outskirts of a ruined city, where homebuilding still stand, he took shelter. Residing in an old gas station, killing and eating the high protein insects and surviving. The first year was hard. Every day was a fight to stay alive. Until he made a friend, which kept him sane and offered protection. He's been living this way ever since.
* Personality: He is nearly silent. Almost never speaking. He lives alone, meaning his voice doesn't need to be used. He is thought to be mute. It may or not be true, he doesn't remember. He's lived above ground for nearly ten years. He's rough and tough, and gets the job done 95% of the time.
Appearance: He's about 6'4 and 210lbs (95kg). I'm batman...
Other: He has a secret weapon on his side. A massive mutant lizard lives at or near the gas station. When the creature was young, its eye was gouged out by a man sent up to retrieve candles. It was bleeding, and it would attract bugs. It was a death sentence. However, as fate would have it, Jedidiah found him an fixed him up until it had healed enough. This showed the lizard that not all humans were bad, and it had felt a connection to Jedidiah, and as it grew to become an adult, it protects him. Limiting the amount of monster bugs that an get near him initially, keeping most away for instinctive fear, and the few that do go are lowered even more so as most are eaten before they can get anywhere near him. The lizard will usually hang around with Jedidiah like a dog would.

Height: About seven feet at the shoulder. Nearly thirteen at the head when reared up.
Name: Winnie Peterson Age: 12 Sex: Female Bio: Winnie has lived her whole life in fear of the mutations. The arthropod takeover had started long before she was born and thus she doesn't know a world outside survival. While this might seem unfortunate, being born into it has advantages. At a young age she was told and taught of the dangers outside and in turn has become very informed about the different mutations. However Winnie's life took a dramatic turn for the worse when her mother fell deathly ill. Since she was living in one of the worst and least populated towns there wasn't much medical supplies to spare. Her father decided to head outside to find some in hopes of curing his wife. But before he left he gave Winnie a slingshot and the promise that he would return soon, only to never be heard from again. During his leave Winnie's mother's condition got worse until there was absolutely nothing to be done. This left Winnie orphaned at the age of eight.
During the next five years of her life Winnie became very introverted and violent. She refused assistance from anyone no matter what. She would take what she wanted and hoarded any supplies she could get her hands on. During these years she also trained herself how to use the slingshot in case a day came where she had to defend herself. Winnie treasured this slingshot. When she was chosen to go search for supplies above ground she wasn't too thrilled, but she was excited even if her scowling face didn't show it. Winnie still believes her father is alive somewhere on the surface, looking for medicine.
Personality: Winnie acts much like a wild animal would, often growling at people as if she forgot how to speak. She is also a loner, even though she often needs help with things. Winnie is very stubborn, refusing medical attention or food no matter how much pain or how hungry she is. She really tries to be a nice kid, but she often can't remember how. Her niceness is buried under years of being secluded and neglected, but it only takes one forgiving person to dig it up.
Appearance: Winnie is very young and feral in appearance. Her obvious indicator of her age is her height, standing barely give feet tall, and her under undernourished body from lack of food. Her honey brown hair is unkept and has been poorly cut by herself. Some parts are longer and messier then others. She refuses to brush it and the most she will do with it is pull it back into a messy ponytail with a small length of twine. Her dull green eyes always seem to be glaring. Her skin is slightly tanned, and burned in some places from the sun and she has small amounts of muscle on her arms and legs.
Her choice of clothing is even more messy and simple. It is simply an old, while, canvas shirt and a pair of tan, knee length, shorts. Both articles of clothing are horribly filthy, almost always covered in a dusting of sand. On her feet she wears an old pair of beaten up sneakers, that are almost too large for her, and a pair of mismatched socks, both having lost their pairs long ago.
Skills: Winnie has rather good aim and a steady hand as well as being run very fast, maybe because of her size. She is also pretty good at sneaking around. Winnie fights best with the old slingshot she got from her father when she was young. She is skilled enough to be able to fling projectiles from small stones to short knives. Weaknesses: She has little to no stamina as well as nonexistent people skills and poor survival skills. Other: ew spiders Winnie, since she hasn't been raised very properly, has little to no manners and won't hesitate to steal food when she is hungry, she is more likely to threaten you for a meal then ask for something to spare. Winnie has little supplies on her. Since she town doubted she would survive they didn't want anything wasted. She carried a small, leather, bag with a small amount of water and dried meats in it as well as a small blanket.

Name: Doris ‘Mouse’ Moore Age: 16 Sex: Female
Bio: Doris was born an only child in Rattown, where it was quickly noticed that she was unusual compared to other people. Extremely quiet and shy, she easily faded into the background of everywhere she went, and seldom focused on efforts such as making friends or allies. Instead, every moment was spent doing intense research on every scrap of reading that she could find, and her clever, yet reclusive nature earned her the nickname ‘Mouse’, which she was not offended by, and in fact grew to like. Eventually, she came to introduce herself as Mouse to everyone she met who asked for her name, seldom using her real one. Because of her cautious nature, much of her research focused on studying old biology books that taught about insects and arachnids, and though she has already accepted that some of the information she found is not useful, some of it may have come to save her life, later. At the age of fourteen, she was chosen in a raffle, and nobody took her place. She returned, somewhat disfigured by scars, and retaining her quiet personality, but also having developed an extreme hatred for anyone that doesn’t consider what she might have seen out in the desert while trying to collect supplies, and those who aren’t serious about how dangerous the job is. Two years later, Mouse had the terrible and extremely unlikely misfortune of getting called a second time in the raffle, and again not having anyone to help her, but this time, she isn’t planning on cowering in fear and surrendering herself to the inhabitants of the desert. This time, she plans on surviving.
Personality: Her entire life, Mouse has always been extremely quiet, and never really speaks unless spoken to. In addition, she generally gives off an aura that gives others the impression that she is reluctant to speak, and therefore, few people approach her, or feel comfortable trying to talk to her. This unsettling aspect, along with her choice of dress, may have an adverse effect for those who are curious, however, as some may find her fantastically interesting, which may lead Mouse to the conclusion that those who ask her questions are naïve and not meant for scavenging in the desert. Clever, generally calm, and being unaffected by such horrible sights such as predators hunting prey, she is not squeamish about scavenging her own food from fresh carcasses left out in the sun, but seems to have an intense fear of the blood and bodily fluids of other human beings. Although she has been wounded and hurt in the past, she seems to have a more intense fear of contracting illness, and also dislikes any human touching her on any part of her body, even her hands, regardless if it is bare skin or through clothing. Whenever injured, she treats her own wounds, and behaves in a threatening manner towards anyone who gets close, much like an animal would, and due to most responses this behavior elicits, she prefers to flee to some dark, hidden place to recover. Reclusive, yet patient, she prefers to avoid the presence of others in most situations, due to the possibility of them endangering her own safety, but at the same time, has a tendency to quickly grow to like most people, as she often sees the best in them, even if she doesn’t want to. She tries to avoid first encounters, as she fears that she may feel compelled to assist someone if she grows attached. Worst of all about this aspect of herself, is that she always seems to like the people that are the most likely to get themselves killed (the naïve ones that ask questions, and the first-timers), and feels like she has to stay near them to keep them safe. Although she’s considerably skilled with her dagger, a long, double-edged Damascus blade that tapers into a wickedly sharp point, she doesn’t enjoy having to fight, and prefers to take precautions so as to go unnoticed by the dangerous beasts that roam the desert.
Appearance: Due to the disfiguring scarring of her body that resulted from her near-death encounters in her previous visit to the surface, as well as the fact that humans don’t blend well with the surrounding environment, Mouse wears clothing that covers as much of her body as possible, both for the sake of hiding her past injuries, and keeping her safe from the compound eyes of certain mutant predators. Her clothing largely seems to resemble that of someone residing in the Sahara Desert, she wears a tan-brown-colored tagelmust that winds around her head and covers most of her features, including the lower half of her face, leaving only her eyes and the surrounding skin visible. The garment covers her neck, and a taper like a scarf that would have trailed down her front is hacked off and sewn, to prevent it from fluttering in the wind, or unraveling. She wears a comfortable shirt with long sleeves that is only slightly paler than the cloth worn over her head, and near identical in color. The sleeves, which drape down, cover her wrists and the lower part of her hands. On her hands Mouse wears well-fitting fingerless tan leather gloves that end just past her wrists, leaving only her fingers and thumbs visible. Due to the risk of restricting movement, Mouse wears pants that closely match the overall tan-brown color of her garments, although the nature of the design may fool one into thinking she is wearing a skirt. She wears tan leather moccasins with no ornamentation whatsoever that cover the ankles, and allow her to mold her feet more easily to whatever kind of terrain she is moving on. She wears a tan leather satchel so that the strap goes across her chest and the containment part itself rests snugly on her right hip. The satchel is mostly unornamented, but well made, and has a square shape, with a large pocket on the front that folds over and buttons. Inside the satchel Mouse carries her canteen, and a metal tin wrapped in a fabric pouch meant to muffle sounds produced by the metal.
In regards to physical features not related to clothing, most of Mouse’s features are seldom seen, save for her fingers, thumbs, and the area that her tagelmust does not cover, which is her eyes, and a small portion of the upper part of her nose. What people can tell is that she has a thin, hourglass-shaped body, and that she appears to have an oblong-oval-shaped face, and a skin tone that is surprisingly fair, suggesting that she may also wear her clothing to avoid extreme exposure to harsh sunlight, as she may burn easily. Her eyes are roundish-almond shapes, with long, dark eyelashes, and irises that are such a deep shade of brown that they are almost black. Her eyebrows, relatively thick and properly shaped, look shaggy due to the long length of the individual hairs, and give the impression that Mouse’s hair is a dark brunette color. A few pale, slash-like scars are visible, one that seems to stretch across her entire face, beginning perhaps around her left cheek or chin, and then going up over her nose and out of sight above her right eye. She also has a slash coming directly to the side that tapers off next to the right side of her nose, and a mark that runs down from her forehead to end just above her brow ridge on the left side. Her finger and thumbnails are extremely short, having been picked almost down to the quick, but leaving just enough of a ragged edge where they could probably be used to claw something. They are nowhere near long enough to interfere with work, however. Although a few dark, wavy brown strands are visible on occasion, her actual hair length is mostly impossible to determine.
Mouse speaks with a lower-pitch soprano voice with a notable rasp to it, and though her typical speech is deeper than what most speak with, her pitch can sometimes change to a much higher one if she is stressing a point or adding variation, making her voice very distinguished compared to other girls.

Name: Baron Blaze Serrallgin Age: 20 Sex: He gets none of it. Personality: A hard person to describe. Initially, Baron seems to be cold and intentionally distant. He never enjoyed being the center of attention. Which is why he's rarely seen striving for it. He prefers to work in the shadows, where people don't see him. Suffice to say, he's a bit of a loner. Not the regular kind; he chooses to be alone most of the time. He's perfectly capable of working with people as well as maintaining a conversation. However, he's a bit lacking in his social skills. It rarely comes into play, though. Sometimes he says the wrong things, because of his ineptitude. There is something that people will easily pick about Baron; he always seems like he's hiding something. There are some subjects he's reluctant to talk about, and there are plenty of those. He also tends to distance himself from groups, and seems mysterious at all times. Baron can have a hard time working in groups, since he has a habit of doing things by himself. Such as he sometimes forgets to inform a group of key information, or goes off alone. In social situations, he can be warm and friendly until irritated. Baron can lash out quite hard when antagonized, and can easily overreact. But, he knows when he crosses the line - He only truly realizes this after the fact. As a result, he'll feel a bit of guilt and attempt to make amends. Mostly everyone he meets are treated equally until otherwise. Baron speaks with bravado, and can be quite grandiose when excited. On top of that; he's very sarcastic and fond of being an utter smartass. Which can piss people off fast.
Baron usually uses his head and and logical, when making decisions. Being tactical and making up clever plans when the time calls for it. However, he can unintentionally be the opposite, and never realize it. He tends to hold on to past grievances for some time. Which can severely cloud his judgement. Baron always likes to move forward and keep on the move. Stagnation tends to irritate him, as he's quite easy to bore. There was one thing that Baron loves doing and that is going on adventures. That may seem childish and whatnot, but it's the only thing that keeps Baron from going into a boredom induced insanity.
Appearance: A lanky fellow at best. He has a very thin build and lanky build, with a bit of a muscular build. Because he tends to climb a bit and runs around quite often. He's not exactly of average male-height. He stands at 5'6, the average height of girls. Which doesn't bother him in the slightest. Baron is very lightweight, weighing 117 pounds. He has long arms and legs, with long bony fingers. Baron is Caucasian, being Lithuanian. Baron's skin isn't too clear. He has plenty of scars on his body. From adventuring mishaps and etc. His knees are heavily scarred from falling over plenty of times. He also has plenty of scars on his arms and legs from such accidents. Baron has no scars on his face, however. Because his beauty cannot be tarnished! Other than that, his skin is a bit pale, and less than healthy. Baron inherits good-looks from his parents, like the rest of his blood-line. He's quite attractive. Baron has a wide round shaped head, and fairly squared facial features. He has a strong, sharp, jawline, and a medium-sized chin - Which is fairly square. His nose is medium-sized. With his nose bridge being short and and his nostrils being quite large. His nose tip is pointed a bit. Baron has small lips, which aren't very thick, usually he has them tucked into his mouth. His ears are medium-sized and are quite round. Baron's eyes are wide, small, and have a dark amber color. Baron's hair is jet-black. His hair is styled in a simple buzz-cut, with a bit of hair brushed over his forehead.
Other: Ew Spiders. Baron is quite skilled in a few departments. Mostly the kind of skills you'd need to not get mauled to death by monsters. For starters, he's very quick on his feet, and is quite agile for his age. Baron is surprising adept at Parkour. He can climb up stuff quite well. Fences and trees are what he's best at climbing. Apart of this, Baron has also picked up a bit of sneaking skills. Baron is also quite good with a gun, knowing how to aim on the move and how to hold a gun quite well. He also knows a few pistol tricks, like pistol twirling and juggling. Now he uses Revolvers, because of class. He carries around three Smith & Wesson Revolvers. Two Model 60 revolvers, and a 500 Revolver-Magnum. For melee encounters, Baron has a long-hard drill weapon. He goes around drilling the wasteland with these weapons

Name: Lance Age: 23 Sex: male * Bio: Lance was originally forced to go to the surface to scavenge for supplies. It was there he realized that he didn’t want to scrounge for the cities, and never returned. Instead, he stayed on the surface, fighting bugs and becoming very proficient at surviving. Lance met Xena on the surface and initially was content to continue on his way until they were both attacked. The situation forced them to fight off the bugs together and Xena ended up saving him from being killed. They ended up traveling together, and since then he has returned the favor, however by this time they had formed a deadly team and decided to work together.
* Personality: Lance is rather pragmatic, as well as being rather rough around the edges. He is the more no nonsense type, and is willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done. He is loyal to his friends, but otherwise he doesn’t owe anyone any favors and is not afraid to make that clear.
Appearance: Lance is 6' 1" and in good physical condition, a byproduct of living above ground. He wears black pants and a sweatshirt over a grey shirt as well as a black gas mask with a balaclava under it. The pants and sweatshirt are fire retardant, protecting him from heat. The mask is tinted, partially concealing his face. He also wears black gloves and work boots.
Other: “Ew Spiders.” He carries a Mossberg 500 12 guage shotgun that fires metal slugs, or whatever he can find that will work. The shotgun also has a jury rigged under barrel flamethrower. It is attached via tube to a tank on his back which holds homemade napalm. In addition to this, he carries a bowie knife and combat knife. He also as a shell reloading/melting kit for making ammunition for his shotgun, however it takes time to do this as well as he needs raw materials.

Name: Xena
Age: 22
Sex: Female
Bio: Xena was born and raised on the surface, one of the few that survives. She was lucky enough to have parents, albeit sick and slowly dying, that were able to take care of her and teach her survival skills until she was capable of surviving alone. The main determinant factor was a increased resistance to radiation and raw food due to a slight mutation. Despite this resistance years of eating uncooked, irradiated food has damaged her throat and makes her sound somewhat raspy. She was content to live a solitary existence until she came across a man from the cities named Lance. The bugs chose that moment attack and the two were forced to work together to survive. In this battle she went against her better judgment and put herself at risk to save him. It turned out to be a good call, since then Lance has returned the favor. The two of them travel the wastes going from city to city, never settling in once place. Surviving on their own terms, not a towns.
Personality: Xena is the quiet, unapproachable type, preferring to do rather than talking about it. This is also partly because of pain and how she sounds from her condition. Everything she says is very concise, honest and to the point. She is slow to trust, but loyal to the end. Not to the point of stupidity though. If the odds are hopeless she won't throw away her own life to grant a friend a few extra minutes. On the other hand, once on her bad side it is almost impossible to redeem yourself. The quickest way to do this is boasting. The exception are kids and teenagers, who still have much to learn.
Appearance: Xena stands 5'7" and is very athletic in build. Her arms and legs are longer than average, don't appear so because of her muscle mass. She wears no shoes or clothing, instead wrapping her entire body in woven web from venomous spiders. Sort of like a mummy. The material is form fitting, but not so much that it restricts movement. The only exposed parts are the mouthpiece and visor of a gas mask that she wears, and her hair. A midnight black ponytail of shoulder length. She also wears a woven web backpack, with sword sheaths to match. Two strands of web, one wrapped each of her forearms have razor blades embedded in them.
Other: Ew Spiders. Xena is quick, strong and agile. She is adept unarmed and melee combat, ranging from simple to exotic weapons. Stealth, climbing, and creating homemade equipment are other specialties of hers. Lastly she is a good marksman with guns, bows, and crossbows, but doesn't have any at the moment. Weapons and gear on her person, and in her bag are as follows.
Weapons: Four double bladed combat knives weighted for throwing, two katanas, two razor bladed spiderweb whips, six homemade chlorine grenades.
Gear: Two electrodes, electrical wire, a compact battery, a small air pump, a bag of salt, two spare gas mask filters, extra spiderweb, three sealed vials, and a canteen.
This setup makes her extremely deadly up close, but completely ineffective beyond throwing range.

He began to get a reputation for the town criminal and would often spray paint incoherent morbid messages on the walls of buildings. Yet, through all that, Edgar managed to fall in love. He met a girl his age named Rose, and they began to go out. People said that Edgar was only sane when he was around his lover, and so many petitioned to have them get married so that no one would have to deal with Edgar's crimes. what actually happened was not nearly as fantastical. In a raffle, Rose was elected to be a scavenger. Edgar volunteered in her place, as he knew that she would get as messed up as he was if she went scavenging. So now, once more, Edgar has found himself in the desert scrounging for food and ducking the monsters.
* Personality: Edgar is...odd. He is incredibly antisocial and sociopathic, meaning that he doesn't really...feel bad about doing bad things. If he stabbed a man and then watched them die, he wouldn't really feel bad about doing it. Added onto that is a bad case of OCD and very mild psychosis, causing him to obsess over certain things like symbols or articles of clothing (he wears a gas mask constantly for absolutely no reason and is afraid of the number twelve). These aren't necessarily helped by his insomnia caused by the PTSD-induced dreams he has every night about the last time he scavenged. Edgar will often see vivid hallucinations at times, causing him to do crazy things like fire bullets at centipedes that aren't there. Because of these problems, however, Edgar is extremely ready for combat at all times. He is absolutely vicious to an almost animal-like degree in combat. He normally works alone, but will work in a group if he realizes that he can either (a) take down all of the group members and steal their spoils later or (b) benefit so much more than anyone else in the group that it's worth his time. Edgar wears a world-war-two-style leather gas mask which completely covers his face and head (like the one in The Empty Child). The only time he takes the mask off is when he eats, something that he does far away from other people so that no one can see his face. Edgar does this for a few different psychological reasons, but if I put all of the puzzle pieces together for you then you'd never have any fun.

His hair is short and spiky blond, however, he rarely takes the hockey mask off, which hides his face and some of his hair. In the wasteland above ground, the sun beats down on his body, making him inclined to wear light armor, such as the light, but incredibly strong scorpion armor he has on hi shoulder and his large baggy pants, which he uses to protect his legs and body from the harsh desert like land's sandstorms, and the stingers, pinchers, and claws of the mutants insects and mice. He has a large tick midsection strapped to his back, which he has cleaned out, that holds water. The tick's head acts as a faucet, allowing small amounts of water out, just enough to drink.
* Bio: At the ripe age of fifteen, he was sent to the surface to retrieve wax. He was retrieving wax for a failing city. He was retrieving wax for Hope. He knew that if the monsters didn't get him up here, that when he returned, he would be put in the army to fight for the others against his will. He unintentionally got lost in a sandstorm before he could choose what he wanted to do, and is presumed dead. He was an orphan from the start, he doesn't remember who raised him to when he was old enough to fend for himself, he doesn't remember the one who he loved, he doesn't remember his cities name. You can forget a lot in ten years. He is a prime example of that. In the outskirts of a ruined city, where homebuilding still stand, he took shelter. Residing in an old gas station, killing and eating the high protein insects and surviving. The first year was hard. Every day was a fight to stay alive. Until he made a friend, which kept him sane and offered protection. He's been living this way ever since.
* Personality: He is nearly silent. Almost never speaking. He lives alone, meaning his voice doesn't need to be used. He is thought to be mute. It may or not be true, he doesn't remember. He's lived above ground for nearly ten years. He's rough and tough, and gets the job done 95% of the time.
Appearance: He's about 6'4 and 210lbs (95kg). I'm batman...
Other: He has a secret weapon on his side. A massive mutant lizard lives at or near the gas station. When the creature was young, its eye was gouged out by a man sent up to retrieve candles. It was bleeding, and it would attract bugs. It was a death sentence. However, as fate would have it, Jedidiah found him an fixed him up until it had healed enough. This showed the lizard that not all humans were bad, and it had felt a connection to Jedidiah, and as it grew to become an adult, it protects him. Limiting the amount of monster bugs that an get near him initially, keeping most away for instinctive fear, and the few that do go are lowered even more so as most are eaten before they can get anywhere near him. The lizard will usually hang around with Jedidiah like a dog would.
Length: 28ft
Weight: About four thousand pounds.
Height: About seven feet at the shoulder. Nearly thirteen at the head when reared up.

Accepted. Although, I always pictured the lizard to be quadrupedal in the first RP. If you are going to edit, might as well before I add it to the accepted character sheet. Just post again when you've edited.
