Also, if google failed me with the initial translation, Leila's tattoo should (really roughly) be "She who runs with wolves will learn to howl", but I have a feeling I didn't copy it right the first time around.

Oh. I guess Jasmine's Latin isn't as good as she'd like it to be XD. We can just chalk it up to human error on Jasmine's part.

I actually take Latin classes, so I could decipher it for you (so can my first character since he's based off of myself).

First off "lupis", if in the third declension, is genitive singular, and would be possessive and would be about a single wolf. It can also be plural dative in the second declension masculine (so male wolves); dative refers to something that receives an action, "to Tom", and is generally referring to a person. The same can be said for second declension neuter (but still wouldn't be accurate, because the wolves shouldn't receive anything), but fortunately, also works with ablative so "lupis" is still accurate. Ablative also refers to a location, which works, because it can operate in conjunction with "cum", which means "with". "Ulula" mean "howl". Verbs are always placed at the end of a sentence or part of sentence.

So "ulula cum lupis" should actually be "cum lupis ulula".

As for the second one, "cum quibus esse cupis". Now, I forgot where my notes were regarded cupis and esse, but I believe they are somewhere along the lines of "be" and "you're". Quibus can mean a number of things depending on how it's used (to, for whom, for which, that, to whom?, to what?, etc.). So, translating it literally, it's "with which be you're" (since they're all either ablative or pronouns of some sort, I'm not sure how it should be arranged so I'm arranging it linearly). Which we can all agree doesn't make a boat load of sense.

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade if that's what's going to happen, I just figured I'd join in on the fun pertaining to Leila's tattoo. If you want it to be accurate in game, that can happen, but if you like it as it is, we could make a running joke about how Leila's tattooist was drunk or something.

She only got it because she lost total control one day and one of the demons, I'm not sure who yet, wanted to remind her who was in charge and got that tattoed on her wrists where she'd see it everyday. Given the demons having been around when Latin was still spoken, if you could rearrange what I had into something that doesn't sound like a dyslexic Google translator speech, I'd be super grateful haha.

Ah. Unfortunately, crafting sentences was never something I very good at. But I could try, it would have to be another time though. Sore thumb and a headache give me a short temper and attention span.
