For the record, though, for anyone who thnks gels actually have halos- the idea of halos doesn't come from the Bible and originate from old artwork which depicted pictures of God's in the Hellenistic era to have a halo as a way to signify "the beginning and the end" for immortality as it is circular and thus has no ending. Sorry- had to point that out XD

The Romantic in me is willing to overlook the non-canon nature of stuff like Azrael and halos just because they're awesome.

Speaks volumes about my faith, but hey.

When do you want to do the thing with Amimoore and Jesse?

I'll think that over. Val and Jesse parted ways so he's actually free to do so. If he plans on leaving, then would Amimoore be up to initiating the conversation when he walks by, or go straight to the mind reading? Either could work. If she asks him questions to which he vaguely answers, that could prompt it. So could walking towards the door alone. Though the former would make it easier to find out who was at fault, the latter would make it look like a random occurrence.

It would make more sense, imo, for Amimoore to start a conversation first then reads Jesse's mind.

Not much, there was an incident where Amimoore tried to read Jesse's mind and tons of screaming and pain happened.

Given that Val and Arianna are currently off doing their own thing and Eli/Leila's subplot is self-contained (for now...), I'd be okay with a timeskip if you had one in mind. I've been itching for the Arena segment since you mentioned it a while back, personally.

I'd like to set up with Jasmine and Rush as well as finish the convo between Leila and Eli before we timeskipped. I will respond as soon as Shade does.

We will timeskip (To afternoon of the next day) very soon. I just want to mostly wrap up everything (Rush/Ray's meeting with Jasmine, the situation in the lounge, etc).

I'm really enjoying the Leila/Eli subplot we have going on right now. This is really good and enjoyable writing.

Alright, I'm going to change Drake's power to another form of power replication because I'm kinda bored of it and I have another idea in my head. Since he hasn't revealed his true power yet, and hasn't used it outside of a small demonstration earlier in the act.
