Pfft, back in my day, every time I came back from school there were five new pages.

This is why I like Roleplex. There aren't 15 million people who have to take turns having their character getting in on the action. Plus, I'm actually able to read all of the things that people post when I log back on.

Well part of the reason that happened in LAL was that we eventually established a simple way to keep up with who needed to post next, and were just bothering each other if someone didn't post when it was their turn.

I was referring to other RPs *cough*hybrids*cough*, but early LAL works, too.

Name: The Engineer
Gender: Asexual (I still refer to Engineer as “he” though, because it is confusing)
Age: Really really really really old. He stopped counting a while ago.
Race: Acirian (didn’t technically make that race, but GM is letting me use it)

Height: 4’10” Weight: 105 lbs

Personality: Engineer is incredibly intelligent. He has a degree in just about everything and has compiled quite the resume in his time. He is incredibly brash and blunt, with seemingly no filter on what he says. He curses often and doesn’t really care if he hurts people’s feelings. It’s not because he’s a psychopath or anything, but because he has absolutely no people skills whatsoever. Being stuck on an asteroid for a few thousand years tends to make you a little antisocial. Engineer doesn’t have much in the way of sympathy or mercy. If one were to start crying on his shoulder, he would probably have absolutely no idea what they were doing or how to handle the situation. On the upside, Engineer is creative and clever. He has good visualization skills and a top-notch memory, allowing him to visualize schematics for things that he wants to make with ease. He can easily outsmart most opponents. He’s good at, in essence, dumbing things down, and can explain complex science and mathematics to people of a lesser intelligence easier than the average genius can.

Abilities: Most of you are aware of the regeneration capabilities of Acirians. I won’t kill you with the science, but essentially Engineer has the capability to heal from almost any amount of damage. The worse the wound is, the longer it takes him to heal. It could take him two minutes to heal a gunshot wound, but if you cut his head off that could take up to 24 hours to regrow. While Engineer is healing, he is normally incapacitated (unless it’s a really small wound). Engineer cannot heal from poison, disease, or suffocation, however. A little addition to Engineer’s power is the fact that any substantial amount of flesh torn from him actually has the ability to regenerate into a completely new being (his regeneration works like a starfish’s). I seriously doubt that any doppelgangers will be walking around any time soon, though.


Skills: Another sort of “ability” of Engineer’s is his macgyver-like ability to manipulate random objects into tools. Give Engineer three paper clips, a rubber band and a piece of wire and he’ll make you a weapon. He normally has his Omniwrench with him (a device that looks like a wrench that functions as basically the ultimate swiss army knife) but it was taken from him when he was incarcerated. He assumes it is still somewhere on the prison ship.

Other: I’m not quite as clever as God Mod, so don’t expect too many Exo-esque escapes from certain death.
