| I was getting ready to do that.
And no, I won't go overboard. I only plan on making the two. Any more characters I make will be dragons.
Okay, here's my Maoren, she's a thief that started off as a homeless street urchin.
Name: Neoma “Darkclaw” Gender: Female Age: 15 Species: Maoren Height: 5’6” Weight: 99.8lbs.
Appearance: Neoma in appearance is very unique, even compared to most Maoren. Like most of her kind, she has a human-like build, but her face is cat-like, she has retractable claws instead of nails, and she has a long tail. Neoma appears to have a pelt similar to that of a Bengal tiger, however, she is melanistic, which makes her fur black, and her stripes are barely visible due to this. Her head appears to be like that of a tiger’s, but the musculature is more similar to a human’s, which allows her to make expressions, in addition to the usual snarling faces that can be produced by a wild cat. Her ears are larger than a normal tiger’s, and their location makes her resemble a house cat, due to their size. They also have black tufts on the end. Neoma has large, pale brown-yellow eyes that have a wild, piercing quality. Her teeth are very sharp and intimidating, and so are her large claws. Neoma typically wears intricate black leather armor tailored to provide protection to her arms, legs, and body without restraining movement or speed. This armor also has a thick black cloth hood that she wears pulled over her head at all times when trying to rob someone. She also has a black cloak that straps around her neck. In addition to this, she has a grey mask that covers her entire face, except for her eyes, hiding her identity. The only parts of her that indicate her identity as anyone other than the thief Darkclaw is that her feet and hands are not covered, and she does not wear anything to hide her tail. Personality: Neoma has always had a very difficult life, which is often the reason for her current lifestyle. After her parents were killed by a terrible illness, that she somehow survived, she was left as an orphan, with nobody to care for her. As a result, she lived on the streets, carrying on the petty lifestyle of a beggar and pickpocket. This was a grueling existence, as it was often unsafe for a young girl to be outside after dark, and terrible, squalid conditions could lead to various illnesses. This was all in addition the fact that as a street urchin, she was shunned by society, and often had to result to thievery to keep from starving. However, she was very clever, and quickly became talented at moving stealthily, and taking things from people without even being detected. Eventually, she began to enjoy her profession, even though her hobby and way of life could result in her imprisonment, or worse. She truly became a thief when she successfully managed to rob a nobleman’s purse. With the stolen money, she was able to buy light armor, a hood, and a cloak. She also used the money to buy a plain mask made from plaster, which she painted grey to prevent the merchant from remembering selling it. Her most valuable possession that she obtained through ill-gotten gold, however, is her knife, which is beautifully made, with a shiny serrated blade, patterned with a serpentine dragon on one side, and held with a handle made from dark ebony. After gaining these things, Neoma assumed the name Darkclaw, and became a professional thief, no longer hindered from entering places like the black market due to being poorly dressed. She began breaking into buildings, instead of being a pickpocket, and targeted more valuable locations. Neoma, like any thief, has a sense of greed that led her to become a criminal, however, she has added a set of moral values, and does not rob friends, or people she believes to be kind-hearted. She also gives a certain amount of her earnings to the local street urchins, who she understands first-hand. She does have a temper, however, and can become irritated if she fails a robbery, or if strangers try to speak to her. She does not accept money from clients to steal, and only robs people that she herself selects.
Abilities: Like most of her kind, Neoma is armed with powerful retractable claws that are incredibly sharp, and can be used in the place of most weapons. She also has a strong bite, and her pointy teeth allow her to draw blood, although this is only a last resort tactic, and cannot be used if she is wearing her mask. Neoma has a good sense of balance, and just like a cat, is agile, fast, and able to land on her feet after falling. She is actually faster than most of her kind, due to her profession requiring speed. Her eyes give her the ability to see in the dark, which allows her to navigate rooms without carrying a torch or light. She has incredible skill wielding her knife, although it does not match up to a sword. Using her claws or knife, she can pick locks to chests and doors, although she is not an expert on this skill, and sometimes fails a robbery due to a lack of speed or understanding of gears. Due to her dark fur and clothing, she is an adept hider, and can quickly lose pursuers. She also has surprising physical strength compared to most Maoren, due to the fact that she performs a lot of physical tasks. In addition to this, she is clever and smart, and knows various herbal remedies. She is also very street smart, and knows the location of the black market in her home town.
Other: Time
And now here's the She-de. Basically, he's a bit more humanoid than everyone else among his kind, but you can kind of guess how he and Neoma met.
Name: Gray Gender: Male Age: 15 Species: She-de Height: 5’8” Weight: 124lbs.
Appearance: Gray, like all She-de, is a humanoid creature with serpentine features. However, unlike most of his people, Gray does not have the lower half of a snake, and instead possesses legs. He still retains the common features of his kind, though. He has scaly skin, like a snake’s, and appears to resemble the Indian cobra. Therefore, he is mainly a dark brown, with cream-colored skin between the scales that highlights their color. The plates on his chin and neck are a cream color as well. He appears to have the head of a cobra, and therefore has a similar spectacle pattern on the back of his hood. Like most other humanoid creatures, his cobra facial features are fused with human features, which allow him to make facial expressions. His face, while reptilian, appears chiseled, with strong angles, and incredibly dark eyes that are almost black hide the fact that his pupils are not elliptical, like most She-de. He also possesses eyelids, and regularly blinks. His tongue and the inside of his mouth are black, but he seldom speaks, and his tongue does not flicker like a normal snake’s. He also does not hiss when he speaks, which may make him seem unusual. He should possess venomous fangs, but he only appears to have the teeth and molars of a human, albeit his canines are noticeably sharp and pointed, in a feral sort of way. Gray has a lean, slender figure, and is muscular, but not incredibly so in the sense of a bodybuilder. He merely appears to be athletic. He often wears full metal plate armor which appears to have been lovingly hand-polished, and is thinner than the usual kind, which makes it lighter, although not enough to beat out leather armor. He cannot wear a real guard helmet, due to his hood, so he wears a special one. This metal ‘helmet’ has a small plate part that frames his face without covering it. A drapery of chain mail covers the back and front of his hood. He often carries a medium-weight double-handed sword strapped to his belt, which he uses as a weapon; however, he is not a very skilled swordsman. He speaks in a Tenor vocal range. Personality: Gray has always received a lot of ill treatment from the rest of his kind. This is because he is so different from normal She-de. He doesn’t have true fangs, or even the teeth of a constrictor, so his bite isn’t nearly as dangerous as the rest of his kind. However, this isn’t the only feature that sets him apart. His eyes aren’t elliptical, and he doesn’t even hiss or flicker his tongue like everyone else. The most shocking difference, however, is that instead of having the lower body of a snake and slithering, he walks on two legs. It is because of these differences that Gray entered the life of a soldier at an early age, and as soon as he was able to learn their language, became a guard at a Maoren stronghold. Although he speaks both She-de and Maoren as fluently as a native, Gray doesn’t really fit in with the other guards. Most guards are skilled with their weapons, and Gray’s weapon is a sword, which he is more likely to injure himself instead of his opponent. There is also the fact that he appears to be the only She-de in a city of Maoren, which means he doesn’t completely understand the cat people. As a result, Gray is quiet and reserved, and doesn’t speak very often, because he doesn’t understand anyone else’s point of view. However, despite his pitiful skills with his sword, he has always managed to do what others have failed in. He has caught the same Maoren thief three times. However, even though he should have arrested her, he releases her every time, or in one case she escaped. Gray does not know why the thief steals from people, but he often hopes that someday he might learn why. Even though they are different races, Gray feels that this thief might have a deeper understanding of his blight than any other creature.
Abilities: Gray has few abilities that are considered special. He does not have venom, although his bite might be incredibly painful, due to his sharp canine teeth, and he does not have the ability to smell using his tongue. However, despite having legs instead of a serpent’s body, Gray retains the flexible abilities of his race. He is able to bend himself in positions considered impossible for all other races, which makes him better at various tasks. He also has strong physical prowess, and a punch can easily knock someone out. However, Gray’s main weapon is his sword. However, due to little formal training, he is quite clumsy with it, and is often at risk of wounding himself when it is drawn. However, with training, he could easily be a powerful warrior.

| I wouldn't know. I'm just eagerly awaiting IC...also, I think that Neoma is going to be a vigilante, as well. Meaning she's going to attack people that mistreat the street urchins, so try to think of her not as just a thief, but a kind of Robin Hood. | |

| okay, if operator posts on here by the end of the weekend, I'll make the IC, though I have a bad feeling that ti's going to instantaneously crash and burn. We don't have enough members for this. | |

| ...Maxx, the last thing you should do is delay making an IC. As soon as you get about three members, including yourself, you have enough people to start. Sometimes the only way to get more members is to have a lot of IC activity...in addition, the longer you delay posting the IC, the more likely members you already have are going to drop out. I have patiently waited for a week, and I'm becoming tired of you saying you'll post IC, and then delaying it. I don't have the patience to wait another week. | |

| Yeah, we wouldn't want a thread to grow legs and just up and go somewhere.
The thread isn't going anywhere, Vipera.

| I actually read a lot of books, but I have been going to the same library for two years, and I tend to look for books that are one or two inches in thickness. A lot of them aren't that big, and I can only check out two at a time. I don't like it when I finish my books too early. I can only go to the library at certain times during the day, and I typically finish my assignments in class quickly, so I have a lot of spare time. I try to get books that I won't finish super early. | |

| I have finally gotten some time on my hands and will get a sheet together. I'm going to enter Bella, an old character of mine that unfortunately, I've not done much with. | |

| Maxx, it's dragons. If Grox is willing to enter with a dragon, then by all means, lets start the IC and begin the RP. I'm still interested, so you can count on me posting. | |

| Name: Bella
Gender: Female
Age: 719 (although for her species, that's practically a very young adult)
Species: Other (Moon Dragon)
Length: 45 meters
Weight: 800 pounds
Appearance: Bella, when standing up on all fours is usually about fifteen feet tall. Bella is one of the most beautiful dragonesses you could come across. She is colored silver, a beautiful shade of it that sparkles brightly when under the light of the moon. Her eyes are a beautiful emerald color and seem to sparkle and slightly glow during the night time. She has leathery scales, a kind not as hard or thick, yet still very protective. Bella is also quite lean, flexible, and lithe. She has long wings with whitish membranes and long claws on her wing thumbs. She is finely structured and beautifully designed, rather like Tharan. She does not have any imperfection to her beautiful and fine body. She also has long slender white horns that seem to be cored with crystals on the inside. This may also be the reason why they glow when under any sort of moonlight whatsoever. She also has long silvery "hair" that comes down from her head, her horns protruding from it. It drifts down to her shoulders and sparkles brightly.
Personality: Bella has been shy as of the latest years in her life. She's also been very depressed and lonely. She can be quite a joy to be around when she's happy, but often she is upset and thinking about the worst and what will come to her. She's always been searching for her destiny, ever since the horrid days she suffered with Shadow, she's been looking for a purpose, an answer and for the time being... she feels as though she is completely worthless.
Abilities: Bella was born under the light of the full moon. She would have been a Moon Dragon anyways, but this gave her even more power. She has the power to summon magic from the moon to create massive spells not only for her own defense, but for other things like making the beautiful worlds around her grow. She also has the power of several types of breaths. Usually when she rests in a certain area for a certain amount of time, Moon Lilies will grow all around, this is typical for Moon Dragons which is why there are always silver flowers all over their lairs. Bella also can summon creatures from other realms, open portals to other dimensions, and of course, visit those who are dead. She cannot raise the dead like Tharan, however she can go into the Spirit World and visit them.

| Yes Maxx, and honestly it only takes 2 people to run an RP around here. Me and Vipera still keep Pride Days very active and we're the only ones that post in it anymore. Not that hard, if you keep people interested. | |

Yeah Grox, it only takes 2 people to run an rp, but honestly, from what I've seen, it's not nearly as fun if you have only 2 or 3 people. And accepted, but tone down the portal to another dimension thing. Also, define different breaths.

| Oh wait, I meant to take that out. I entered her in Color as well, we're aloud to use powers in that RP that would probably be considered a bit OP by you or Vipera.
Fire, air, ice, shadow, lightning, and a white magicy thingy.

Fire, air, ice, shadow, lightning, and a white magicy thingy. I need more clarification on the breath Grox. A) How hot is the fire? B) how cold is the ice? C) how strong is the wind? D) um...yeah shadow and lightning is good E) what does "White magic thingy" mean? I need to know those because without that info it's kinda like saying "Bob has a gun", but not telling us whether it's a Nerf Gun or a 50 cal.

| Grox, I hate to admit it, but you're going a bit over-the-top with this dragon you're making. The average lifespan is 500 years, most of the time, and you're giving your dragon multiple kinds of breaths, along with the power to see the dead, and travel through realms. It's massive, and it exceeds a blue whale in length. Please downplay it, because I can't see myself enjoying being in an RP with two humanoids, a tiny dragon, and a large old lady whose only magical ability is really just her ice breath, when I'm dealing with a Tyrant Dragon, which is basically a King, and a massive dragon that pretty much covers all the abilities worth having that I don't think should ever be used all at the same time.
I once made a dragon like that in my first ever RP, and trust me, the Moderator's scolding has still left scars that will never heal. You do not want to make the same mistake as me.

| Well really, I didn't know how to put the weight and length because I'm not sure how you'd scale just an ordinary dragon. And actually, she's not an old lady, for Moon Dragons (my species I've made) she's a very very young adult.
And I'll take out the part about realm travelling as it's not going to be used in this RP. The power to see the dead... If I take that out, Bella's just not Bella anymore... Of course, remember as I've stated many times... I rarely even use some of these abilities. Most of the defenses of my magic characters are just the standard "I shoot electric" attacks. I only use some of these bigger powers for the extreme aspects of character development.
She's not really of a certain element, she's more of an "all around" dragon or a "Magic" elemental dragon.
Her fire is usually just your standard fire, I'm not sure what the temperature would be but you get the jist, nothing too powerful or too cool. The ice breath, it's mostly just frost not as much ice. The magic thing is mostly just a blast of white light that inflicts pain. The air is not that strong, yet it could move you if you stood close enough.

| Grox, height and weight restrictions were in the rules, and I need an exact temperature. No I am not just being a jerk.
@Vipera, Huangdi won't be fighting anyone. He's a background character. We won't see him very much. He needs to be that powerful because he is the leader of the dragons.

| Well, my whole point is that I don't want to wind up having characters that are weaker than everyone else like last time. I don't want to be the strongest, but I don't want to feel like they're inferior to another dragon in every way. | |

| Well I'd probably better just leave this then. None of my dragons are weak, they are all pretty OP which is one of the reasons why I use them so much in Color, we're allowed to have some pretty tough guys over there. I have a giant robot that is thirty five feet tall and some of Mallis's powers are used at their full extent. But anyways, I can't really enter any of my characters here without changing them entirely and I'm not prepared to do that. So, yeah. | |

| Well, I'm not the only thing the sheet is conflicting with. It conflicts with the RP's rules, Grox, regarding age and such. You still have to be specific on temperatures and such.
I also kind of snapped, and pretty harshly, too. I'm sorry that I did, I don't really mean to sound like that. The weather's changing where I live, and all afternoon I've been getting a really bad headache, and I feel like I'm running a fever. I kind of wind up with mood swings when I feel sick. One moment I'm fine, then I break down crying, and then start snarling at people. It's hard to think clearly when your head feels like it's stuffed with cotton, or you're sitting under a heat lamp. It was fine all this morning, and now it's getting progressively worse. I'm going to have to start taking allergy medication, at this rate.
