Appearance: Mayor Leeth stands about six feet-four inches tall and has a slender figure. He has brown hair and blue eyes. His skin is not tan, yet it is also not pale either, a sort of in-between. He usually wears his black suit or his white suit. He carries a gun on a holster attached to his belt at all times in case of an emergency. He also has a large birth mark on the back of his right hand which essentially is a splatter-like shape.
Personality: Cedric Leeth is a very dry man who you really won't ever know personally. Despite his dryness his is the best mayor the town has ever seen. He often though will not tell you the full story of something or if it concerns something important, he won't tell you anything at all. He often stays in City Hall and does his paperwork, not leaving the building except to go home at night or to take care of anything business related.
History: Cedric Leeth has been a very quiet person, even as a child he was dull and dry and boring. However he always enjoyed celebrations and festivals. He's carried this trait with him to adulthood. Leeth loves his town, and will do anything for it. Leeth is also a very solitary person. He has never had a wife or children of his own, however deep down he actually plans to have a family one day.

Age: 15
Appearance: Zander is tall, about 6' 3" and a bit pale. He always wears a black hoodie which he made himself. He has pale blue eyes, a plain face with no blemishes, scars, or other markings. His fingers are long and narrow, as is his body which is quite skinny and bony. In fact when he bends over, many of his bones will pop audibly. He has long arms and long feet. Everything about him is long and skinny which works to his advantage sometimes. He can squeeze into tight openings sometimes, however he's not good at crouching.
Personality: Zander is perhaps one of the more interesting children that live in Welton. He is rarely seen, and when he is, it's usually in the forest or in some dark alleyway. Zander is well aware of the legends and in fact believes them. He is mysterious and a shady boy. Many find him to be creepy.
History: Zander was a mysterious child from age nine when he was reported missing and didn't turn up for four and a half weeks. When he finally was found, he had changed so much and much of his old self was gone. He was a much more shady boy and about a month and half after his disappearance his mother died--the cause unknown. His father died a year later, his case was also unknown. After that Zander went on life like a grown man and made excuses, saying he could take care of himself and he was allowed to live on his own. Ever since the age of nine he's been obsessed with going into the woods and going out into the fog, and nobody really knows why.

Appearance: Emily is a rather attractive young woman, in appearance, although her choice of clothing is rather plain. She stands at about 5’7” tall, and has a thin, slender figure. Her sleek, wavy hair, which is a dark auburn color, is cut short into a bob, which frames her face. She has large dark brown eyes, which are considered doe-like, with long eyelashes. She has a small nose, and cherubic lips. However, this does not hide the square jaw of her chin, which is incredibly masculine. Most of the time, Emily will wear a simple, yet thick, black cotton dress, which has an inner lining made with wool, which keeps her warm. This dress has a modest neckline, long sleeves that cover the arms, and comes down almost to her ankles, although the material of the skirts is loose, and she wears briefs like pants underneath, so that she still has freedom of movement. Her shoes have curved toes, almost no heel, and stay on with laces, which is perhaps the one thing that makes her clothing seem masculine, yet plain.
Emily’s second set of clothing, which is that of her alias Edward Stowe, is much like that of most boys or young men, and due to the fact that she is actually a young woman, Emily is dressed in such a way that people would not notice her very easily. As Edward, she wears a dark brown topcoat, with matching tweed breeches that cover her ankles. Her shoes are simple black leather boots, which are incredibly durable. Emily will also put on a dark brown bowler hat, which she tilts so that it casts a shadow over her face. She also wears a pair of dark brown work gloves, to hide her small hands, which look definitely feminine. She speaks with a Soprano voice type, which makes her voice difficult to disguise as male.
Personality: Emily, although at times reckless or brave, is traditionally a very logical yet timid person. Although she knows a lot of things other people don’t, she has a lot of issues regarding certain things people her age have long ago gotten over. For one thing, she still retains her childhood fear of the dark, and is also easily startled by strange or sudden sounds, including lightning and thunder, which she has a phobia of. Often, this is evidenced by the fact that she frequently looks over her shoulder, and her eyes dart around the room. Strangely, however, these fears are not as prominent during the day, and only appear to be a problem when the sun is not in the sky, or when the sky is dark and stormy. Fog may also trigger these fears. However, strangely, skies that are cloudy with white clouds that make it seem bright outside make her feel more comfortable, even though it is often cold and wet on such days. However, Emily may also be afraid of these things because of her alias, Edward Stowe, which is a young man that wanders the town. She is often afraid of being called out or noticed, due to the fact that she cannot do things as a woman, and people would think she was strange dressed as a man. She is also increasingly nervous, due to the strange occurrences in town, and sometimes , regardless of what identity she is currently using, she may burst into tears, because she truly feels like something is wrong, even though it could be written off as hyper-sensitivity. What she doesn’t realize, is that she’s actually very accurate about the issues.
History: Emily is descended from an Irish-American Lineage that occurred when an Irish family, escaping from the great potato famine in Ireland, fled to America. Because of this, many members of her family sport reddish hair, and square chins. However, despite this having occurred a long time ago, the Douglass family is middle-class, and Emily’s parents work on textiles. Emily herself is rather proficient with a needle, but at the age of 13, she began to dress up as a boy, after tiring of the limitations put on females by men. She found that she enjoyed the increased freedom, and continues to do this. However, her hypersensitivity to sound and smell makes her very timid, and her voice makes it nearly impossible to talk to people without risking her identity. It is because of this that her alias, Edward Stowe, is only known as ‘that boy that wanders by every now and then.’

Appearance: Sage is short, probably around 5 feet tall. She has long, straight black hair and wears a faded blue dress with a black cloak. Her eyes are green, and she has a very innocent face. So yes, she's considered pretty.
Personality: Sage is quiet, and keeps to herself. Most of the time, she will not speak unless spoken to..Unless of course, she has an idea and is confident that it is correct. Once people get to know her, she often provides insight on situations that they themselves did not see. A lot of people have found her to be quite consoling. Sage is observant, taking in details and remembering things that often slip away from other people.
Many people think she is an innocent person, but those people don't know she has a dagger tucked in her right boot beneath the folds of her dress. For self defense of course.
History: Sage has lived in Welton her whole life, with her parents and younger brother. They live on the edge of the town, nearest to the woods. Her mother and father were often away, until one day her mother did not come home. She was never found, and some people thought she had simply skipped town to get away from the haunting rumors.
Sage has her own suspicious as to what happened, but has voiced them to no one.
She started wandering into the woods to look for her mother when she was about 12. At one point, she was gone for several days, much to the despair of her father. When she finally returned, she was unharmed except for a burning desire for something to eat. Ever since, she often gazes into the woods dreamily, or looks at certain buildings within the town with a strange expression on her face.

Age: 32
Appearance: Alan is not very much of a gentleman, to say the least. He often goes hiking in the nearby woods for exercise, and as a result often wears his hiking clothing. Alan’s hiking boots are thick and comfy, and has become accustomed to wearing them regardless of the conditions. His excuse for doing so usually involves the stony roads around his home, which has become more or less true over time. His trousers are tan, and his hiking shirt is buttoned and grey.
Alan is 6’4” tall. He has black hair, and a thin mustache and sideburns. He has a tan, evidently from travelling and hiking. His deep dark brown eyes seem to stand out on his already-tan face.
Personality: Alan is a very serious and hard-to-impress man. He is very skeptical when it comes to things involving the paranormal, and was annoyed to find out that Welton had a ghost legend. Even if he saw the ghost himself he’d be quick to jump to another conclusion. You can get to know him quickly, but for him to consider you as a friend will take longer. Dispite this he is very concerned for people in need, even if he can’t help. And if you do befriend him, he can be very loyal.
History: Alan was born in Richmond, but moved to Baltimore at the age of 12. He grew up to be popular with his neighbors, and was also introduced to his passion, hiking, during his time there. Alan created a business at the age of 24, but it was later bought by a larger company. He worked until he was 30, and then quit after he decided that his new boss was being unfair with his workers. Alan found a new business opportunity in Welton, so he moved to the small town. He admired how small it was, meaning that there were many hiking opportunities.
Alan bought a larger house after working for the new company for a year, and he currently lives on the outskirts of town. He did not worry about the impending ghost problem; he dismissed all happenings as random happenings, and hallucinations.

-TheOperatorName: Nobody actually uses his real name. Everyone just calls him "The Tank". This is his nickname he was given during middle school because of his obsession with technology and is a reference to "The Matrix".

Appearance:Tank here really lives up to his name. He is a very, lets say bulky guy. He is not skinny, he is not a runner, and he is more of a danger to food than he is to things on the front lines. He is naturally a big guy. He doesnt really loose weight, no matter how much he may try. He weighs in at 296.3 pounds, and truly is more of a wall than a tank. Tank here also seems to have immense strength. Nothing super human, but he is easily stronger than the average man. He is normally seen in baggy black cargo pants and a plain grey shirt. Every once in a while he will have a matching grey sweater. He stands at a massive 6'3, and has long, shaggy blond hair with light blue eyes.
Personality:Tank has to much energy for his size. He's a jokester, often telling bad jokes that tend to make people chuckle at the sheer stupidity. Although Tank doesnt seem to notice this at all. His dense and bubbly personality make him an extremely hard guy to get to. Do not let this fool you, however, Tank's Matrix inspired nickname does him justice, and he has more than his fair share of brains in his head, and is adept with most technology. As an optimist by nature, Tank will see the good in everything, no matter the situation. A great way to look at him would be as if he's Owen from TDA.
CLICK ME!History:Tank is just the one guy who seems to love everyone. He's been that way all his life. He just moved to town, and doesn't have too much experience with it. He tends to get lost, and, because of his personality, tends to not be shy about asking directions back to his neighborhood or wherever he's going. As a new Highschool graduate, he is planning on going to college as soon as summer ends. Other than that, he's a pretty down to earth guy with no real out of the ordinary experiences.
