Ray Judah Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.

Maxx wrote:
"What? So I can't do anything out of the kindness of my heart?" she sarcastically replied to Ray with a phony smile that quickly evaporated back to her generally bored half-scowl "I hope you weren't, because my heart has not a single morsel of kindness anywhere in it. Anyways, I'm interested, though I'd appreciate it if you accompanied me to the cafe so we could work out the details there. I don't function very well without coffee."

In response, Ray merely raised an eye-brow and stated, "Duly. Noted." Just as sarcastically as she did. It was an understatement when he said that he didn't like this Jasmine girl right off the bat. It was her attitude was what Ray didn't like. Well, he can tolerate her being like that as long as she's actually useful. If not, then Ray will eject her from the mission. But, this is all up to Rush, really. Ray is just the bodyguard, the muscle. And it showed whenever someone gets a bit too aggressive. He was going to trust Rush's judgement in this.

Having a much more positive reaction to Jasmine (mostly) agreeing to help them; Rush half-smile. Now he felt like this uprising was going somewhere. With Jasmine's detective skills, they could find out things that would be hard, even with Rush's skill with technology. All they have to do is iron out all the fine details with Jasmine in the cafe. "Very good. Will discuss at cafe. I'll pay." Rush says as he turned away and walked out of the dorms. Intending to lead his little group to the cafe himself.

Ray followed, putting his hands in his pockets and following. I don't think it's too good of an idea to talk about things like this in public...

Amimoore Black Dellamorte, & Drake Deltori Blackmore.

"Wooah, slow down sweetheart. Unless you have a good qualified doctor in the mansion of yours, I don't think you should be going anywhere. Where is this mansion anyway? Out in the blizzard?"

"Hmph, have to say, he has a point." Drake says, to Amimoore. At this point, it seemed like all they could do was stand here with their thumbs up their @sses. Drake had next to no knowledge of the school, and he'd probably only waste his time if he went out to go find someone... The person whom had the most knowledge of the school so far was Seth. Drake turned his head towards Seth. Giving him a disheartened glare, "Come on, Seth, you have to go get someone."

In response to everything, Amimoore only continued quietly shivering. "No-no-no... Just take me ho- No, anywhere but here..."

Carmen 'Lily' Santo.

Since nobody seemed to be helping Jesse, Lily sighed. In truth, she didn't do anything at first because she thought someone else would, so she can leave here - But no. She has to do this by herself. She walked over to Jesse, and quickly helped him up using her arms. She was trying to help him stay steady, because she got the feeling he was about to fall over. Lily whispered into his ear, "Stay calm, Jesse. I helped you two times today," She hinted that she was the one who helped them with all the mental damage, "I don't know how else I can help you now, but I'll make sure no puta does anything stupid." The reason why she didn't run off and get help was because she had no idea where help is. Which meant that it made much more sense to stay here and keep Jesse safe. Because Lily has an edge against those with powers. To the point where, if she's determined enough, she can downright stop people from conscious use of their power.

Seth, Cassandra, and Vespera

"There's nobody with healing powers on standby, but the infirmary's medical technology works just as well if not better in some cases." Seth stepped forward. "Unless anyone else both know's where it is and can take her there faster than me I'll do it." Without waiting for a response he got to work. "Stand back." The air pressure underneath Amimoore increased to the point where she started to raise from the floor. She has held comfortably in the same position she was laying on the ground in.

Cassandra headed over, but was stopped by a sharp, questioning look from Seth. While she could help, she could also make things a whole lot worse. She simply turned around and went back to where she was standing. Vespera just observed the whole situation still in her poker face. It was tempting to get up and leave since it didn't look like the game would continue. The cafe should be open, or there was retiring early.

Ene
-

Ene wasn't quite sure about how to react to Gabe's statement about how she could join. Was the statement just a thing directed at Jake and Jaska, or was the girl basically saying, "Hey! Tag along" in Gabe language? She didn't really know what Gabe's personality was like, so she could just be playing sarcastic or something. She tried to think of what to say in reply.

Finally Ene just turned to Jake, givin him a small smile, "Would you mind if I joined you guys?"

-
Kynan and Jaylin
-

The twins sighed in unison a no one replied with the answer they wanted, Jaylin jumping off the pool table.

They seem fine. Other people are checking on them... So what do you want do, Kynan?

I dunno. Haw about we just look around some more or something? Find the gym?

Yes! Hey... I bet I could beat you at basketball.

Don be so sure. I beat you half the time. 50/50 chance I win.

The two walked out, mind-chatting.

((Sorry. I'm sick, my brain's dead, and I ha no clue what to post))

Drake Deltori Blackmore, & Carmen 'Lily' Santo.

"Hey!" Lily called out to Seth, trying her best to hide her irritation. "He needs help too..." She moaned, clearly because of Amimoore, everyone seemed to be ignoring Jesse and paying attention to her instead. Leaving Lily to go help him. Well, looks like it has to be that way. She can't complain that she's pretty much on her own on this. It's something that she just has to go through with. Useless b*stards... Lily then gave all the bystanders a death glare. Getting across just how useless they are being right now. Since Seth seemed to know where everything is, she figured that she'd follow him. Lily grabbed Jesse by the arm, but found it hard to lift him up since he's much bigger than her. She tried to get under his arm and tried to lift her up using her strength.

When Seth did his thing, Drake took a few steps back. Maybe there's much more to you than what meets the eye. He thought to himself. He looked across the room at Jesse, and Lily trying to help him, and thought - I can finally be useful! He quickly walked over to them, and helped Lily by propping Jesse up on his shoulder. "Hey, let me give you a hand." Since he was stronger than Lily, he had a easier time trying to lift Jesse up, to the point where he could do it on his own.

"Yeah, yeah, Seth, lead the way." Lily says to Seth.

Gabriela Mya, Jake Vin, & Jaska Din Valos.

"Yeah, ya' can come; let's just go before this drama show drags out any longer." Gabe says to Ene as she quickly walked out of the room. Followed by Jake and Jaska, who were just as eager to leave as Gabe was. The moment that they were out, both Gabe and Jaska let out a sigh of relief. Because it was so annoying being in there, even when everyone stopped screaming. No one had a clue where they were going, Gabe just wanted to leave so badly that she didn't even have a destination. Just a journey in mind. Eh. Better just make some conversation, "So, where did ya' two find this pretty little thing?" She said in a near flirtatious tone, before turning her head to look back at them.

"Oh, um, ah, uh..." Jake knew that this question would make things awkward for Ene in one way or another. Which made it a bit awkward for him.

On the other hand, Jaska was a bit oblivious when it came to interactions as people got older, so it didn't make him awkward at all. "Oh!? We met her outside after I ate something and made a mess, and then we came in here, then those annoying people just started screaming, I wonder why."

"Now isn't that nice? Now what is your name, sweetie? Mine's Gabriela, but just call me Gabe..."

Ene walked out of the room with the Valos siblings, wondering where, exactly, they were going. Or maybe there wasn't any destination in mind, at all. Either way, she guessed she was fine with it. She was mostly glad that she wasn't walking around alone- she didn't mind it, but it always felt more comfortable to be with other people.

"Oh!? We met her outside after I ate something and made a mess, and then we came in here, then those annoying people just started screaming, I wonder why."

Ene felt her face heat up- whether it was because of the question Gabe asked or the compliment, she was unsure. She had been called "pretty" before, but never by a girl, which she honestly found a bit awkward, though Ene didn't know if the girl was joking or serious, even. Then there was the question asked... That was an awkward topic. How do you explain meeting someone by running into them while one was covered in blood that you couldn't see and the other one looking like he was going to vomit, and then later on seeing the blood and everything somehow turning out okay? Well, that would kind of be a way to explain it, but how do you explain it without everything sounding... Awkward? She could tell Jake was trying to find a way to explain it, as well.  Luckily, Jaska stepped in and explained everything. She smiled a bit. He had unknowingly found a good way to word the situation from earlier. She turned to Gabe as she began talking.

"Oh, uh, nice to meet you. I'm Evelyn, but I'm called Ene." She glanced at Jake and Jaska, briefly wondering if she had told them here actual name. She usually doesn't tell her normal name to other people, so probably not. She just figured introducing herself the same way Gabe did wa the polite thing to do.

Jesse Sutor and Abraham Gene

It surprised him, to say the least. Watching everyone hover over the girl that was struggling, whereas the only one that bothered to help him at first was the Lily girl that he thought would be ignoring him. It was somewhat ironic really. He gladly accepted her help when he was standing up previously, not thinking too terribly much of what she said about helping him - he didn't question it, only taking it for what it was. He couldn't help a smile crawl up on his face despite all that has happened, and currently, all that has so far lacked to happen. It was a little heartwarming and gave Jesse a feel for the girl's personality. She was caring and thoughtful, that much was obvious. Her "puta" comment showcased a bit of her temper and protectiveness, even though she barely knew him. He took a moment to lay there and observe everything around him while his senses recovered. One of the few black guys started to take control, that was good. He issued a job to this other guy and gave advice to the girl, who was already being talked to by this group of people.

Funny how a patriarchal society functioned: having femininity represent weakness and vulnerability, while asserting a masculine dominance over them, prioritized their safety over that of a man's although the man's needs were greater. Differences in priorities and social rights and expectations were so twisted, it was hard to know what to expect.

He watched as the guy, whom was presumably Seth, gently lifted the girl into the air. This was obviously a part of his power. He once again noted how they addressed her over him. Pretty looks takes priority, it looks like. This prompted agitation from Lily. Jesse couldn't help it, he had to smile. He felt as though he should reassure her by saying it's no big deal, but it really kind of was. He was bleeding, couldn't talk, his ears were ringing, and who knows what trauma his brain endured.

Jesse accepted Lily's aid once more with pleasure. He weighed more than she might be able to support, so he did make some effort to help her out by supporting some of the weight with his shaky knees; it probably wouldn't do much in the way of help. It was then that the guy that was talking to the girl came to help carry him to the infirmary. He was thankful for the help, but he actually felt kind of bad for Lily. She was trying to help and take some responsibility all on her own. Now someone comes to help? She probably wasn't impressed with Drake. Jesse wearily lifted one of his hands and rested it on Lily's shoulder with a weak smile - a gesture of thanks and good faith. He was exceptionally thankful for her help and selfless behavior. Weird though, how being around her made her feel odd - good, though. Strong. He had to admit though, there was definitely better ways of getting friends than bullshit like this. "You didn't have to do all of that," he said to Lily in a loud whisper, his voice too weak to do much else, "thank you Lily."

All Abe could do was watch in the background, unable to help. He could carry Amimoore, assuming Seth wasn't capable of holding his power up for that long. Drake and Lily were doing what they could to bring the boy to the infirmary, following Seth. But there wasn't much else that could be done and the game was no longer a thing that interested him. All he could probably do now was to retire to his room or look for his room mate, neither of which were things that interested him. God be damned if he were to get one upped by Seth, so he went to offer his assistance, doubted the guy's endurance.

"Hey man, no need to tire yourself with that. Let me carry her and you lead the way, alright?"

His pride aside, helping out an important dude's daughter would no doubt score him some points, right?

Leila Gabrielle Septim

Eli said she was safe now, and she very badly wanted to believe it. Leila very badly wanted to believe in a great many things. Some base, gut instinct of her was shouting at her to play the skeptic, to not let her guard down. Unfortunately for that instinct, Leila had a great deal of experiencing shutting out the voice in the back of her head.

Some of Leila's feverish body temperature seemed to recede a bit, although she didn't feel cold or shiver. Leila kept her eyes shut, savoring the darkness and the quiet and the reassuring presence of someone who was actually real and who Lust wasn't driving her to sleep with or Wrath driving her to kill next to her. It was...peaceful. This was how normal people spent their lives. Normal teenagers. Even amidst the freaks of the Academy, Leila was an outcast: there were metahumans, and then there was...her. She wondered if she and Eli were entirely alike in that regard: despite the seemingly concrete evidence before her, there was always the question of whether her "gifts" were legitimately the result of demons or merely a very warped manifestation of whatever caused people to have powers. She wasn't sure she wanted to know-either way, it was plenty terrifying.

He certainly seemed to be righteous. Probably went along with the whole prophet of God thing. Leila had long since lost respect for the clergy, self-proclaimed prophets, or even the righteous, because as the demons were fond of reminding her, the Good Lord Christ has said any with faith could cast out demons, and yet none could fix her. Eli restored a bit of that, although she was still too euphoric over the silence in her head to bother with things like that. Leila enjoyed not thinking, not having to fight a constant battle.

Sounding rather tired, Leila muttered, "A very long time."

Adam Leon Blackmore, Megan Emma Jervious, & Leon Maddox Vahan.

As the night went by, the three teachers remained in their own lounge, chatting with each other as they were all friends. Oblivious to the incident that had occurred the student's lounge just a little while ago. Things were getting late, and they had a big day ahead of them tomorrow. Megan was the first to get up off the sofa, having emptying her glass of red wine. She rested it on the table in front of her and smiled cheerily. "Alrighty, Adam, Leon; It appears that I should conclude our time together - You know, I must prepare for our grand power instructing class. Cheerio." With that, she made her exit. Taking slow, and light steps out of the lounge.

"See you around, Megan." Leon says, while he was lounging on the sofa, with his arms crossed and looking up at the ceiling.

Adam was reading a book on his sofa, stopping for a split second to let out a, "Goodbye." Directed at Megan.

After leaving, Megan made her way through the hallways, keeping her eye open. Some of the students think it's funny to try and prank the teachers. Curiously enough, when she looked up, a handful of the cameras had been destroyed. If I catch anyone... She thought to herself. Not that she was going to report them - More of harmlessly blackmail them! She made her way through the staff dorms, only to be stopped by a strange occurrence. A door was wide open, and there were smashed objects on the door frame. If she recalled correctly; this room belonged to Dr. MacDonald. She had took a few steps. "Mr. MacDonald...?" She calmly called as she peaked inside. There was quite a sight when she did peak inside... She gasped, cupping her mouth.

Spoiler:

Three people brutally killed in Dr. MacDonald's room. Two students (A small boy with red hair and freckles, and an Asian girl with no hair), and MacDonald himself. Dead. Laid out on the floor of his room in a pool of their own blood. An obvious knife wound has been dealt to their chest, and it was a clean stab, appearing like it was done by a professional. There were obvious signs of a struggle, going off the broken objects and blood splattering on the walls. Which was odd since nobody seemed to have heard it or came to help. Nor did she get the feeling that they. Hence the smashed cameras. This was clearly the works of an assassin, or.... Eh, there wasn't time for theories. Regardless, she needed to report this at once. "Adam! Leon! Come quick!" She called out for them. Her demeanor quickly changed to a shocked appearance, with her eyes wide open, and appearing heavily scared/shocked. Convincing enough.

Immediately the pair had dropped whatever they were doing and followed Megan's voice. With Leon to use his power to see far ahead. He had already figured out where Megan is, and more importantly; what had prompted her to call them. It made Leon really pick up the pace. After a few frantic moments, they've finally arrived, and once they saw it, they appeared as shocked as Megan was. But, this wasn't the first time something like this happened. Adam immediately barked, "Megan contact the headmaster! Leon-!"

"Already on it." Leon cut him off, quickly using his ability to observe the area around him. He quickly observed three locations. The area around the two dorms to see if someone was trying to run away from the scene. There wasn't even anyone outside. Then he used his observation to scour the hallways of the dorms. Other than teachers moving through the halls - The place was desolate. Which means that it's safe to say that the killer is long gone. Leon bowed his head, quietly saying, "Can't find anyone..."

"Who would do this...? It's... Just so barbaric." Adam grasped the sides of his head, perturbed.

While all of them was going on, Megan had gotten Dacious on the phone, "Alright, I have Dacious on the phone... Adam, would you like to speak with him?"

Act 2: All things Strange

Day 2.

The very next day, the school went on like it normally did. The students attending classes, and the teachers educating them.

Spoiler:

Adam L. Blackmore, & Dacious W. Dellamorte.

10:32 Am

"... With all due respect, Dacious!"

The very next day, Adam had gone straight to Headmaster Dacious's office in the reception building to discuss the turn of events. To say the least, Adam is not pleased with what Dacious had ordered him to do. "We are just supposed to cover it all up!? We may have a serial killer on the loose and you want to cover it up?!" He roared slamming his hands on the table. Adam was wearing a similar suit than he was yesterday: a black business suit with a red tie. He had his usual thin framed glasses on.

Dacious stood up from out of his chair, hands tightly clenched around his cane, "I am not asking you to cover anything up." He walked over to the window that overlooked the docks that yesterday, showed the brand new students coming to the school. "I am merely requesting that you do tell anyone about this one... Isolated incident. My investigators are taking care of everything."

"Sir, it is in my best interests to look out for my students. And last night I found two students and a teacher dead, and the culprit long gone. You won't let the medical examiners look at them, and you just have the mess cleaned up, then demand that everyone ju-"

"Enough!" Dacious shouted cutting Adam off, "What I am doing is keeping fear mongering out of the school environment. Which is what I ask you to do - If you plan on keeping that job of yours." He narrowed his eyes at Adam, and gave him a serious and cold death glare. He was so serious right now. "Now, let me do my job, and you will do yours. All will be well."

It was obvious that Dacious was up to something here. He was obviously hiding something here - He refused to let the school, or even their families, know of their death and what caused it. If only Adam's telepathy would work on Dacious, then he would have all the answers. Adam was going to hope that this wouldn't be anymore of a problem, but he was worried that there was a serial killer on the loose - Worse, that Dacious was helping him. If this escalated; then Adam would step in. For now, Adam was going to tend to the classes, and keep an eye out for any students who would kill them. Adam left the room, suspicious as ever because the Headmaster was being difficult.

Adam L. Blackmore, Megan E. Jevious, & Leon M. Vahan.

2:11 Pm

Later on today, the three power instructors had finally gathered in the Training Hall for the power instructing class. The room for this particular training session was a large rectangle shaped room, with a bland grey smooth ceramic floors, walls and ceiling, with a few scratches here and there. The room was set up like an auditorium. With a large amount of chairs in the center of the room, all facing a small stage. The room was large enough to hold the entire cast and more. On the left and right sides of the room, there was a door, stairs and a window. On the right side of the room was a large window, that overlooked the much larger training room. The training room that was through the window was a massive octagon shaped room. The room was made out of a smooth, durable metal, and was capable of withstanding a nuclear bomb (Just in case someone's power went out of control). The room was connected to a variety of devices made for training the students. On the left side of the room was a door that lead into a large locker room, that was divided into gender, and age. That was full of marked lockers for the students to place their possessions, and private dressing rooms. There were also stairs that lead into a smaller room a floor under the "class-room" that was before the training room itself.

The three teachers stood on the stage, with all the chairs facing them. They stood in a triangle formation, with Adam in the middle, Megan at his left, and Leon at his right. They were well dressed in suits as always. They watched as their class entered the room.

Gabriela M. Jaska D. & Jake V. Valos

The first group to arrive were the three Valos siblings: Gabe, Jake, & Jaska. They made their way in a orderly fashion, and with Gabe in front, seemingly leading them. They had finished with the rest of their school work, and finally made their way into the last class of the day, power training. They had a completely different attire than before. Gabe wasn't wearing her usual gruff attire, since she was at school, technically, she dressed a lot more properly, and lady-like. She was wearing a whitish-blue dress shirt, with the collar popped. With a milk-white jacket over it. She had on black dress pants with thin white stripes. She had white high-heel boots. In general she looked a lot less gruff, almost looking much more gentle, if her personality didn't betray. But still had on her eyepatch, and gloves to conceal her burns.

Next to Gabe, nervously walking in was Jaska Valos, the youngest non-infant of the Valos family. He was nervous as hell, which was blatant due to his twitching and overall hesitant demeanor. Which normally is a more jovial and excited personality. "This is a power class, right? Do I have to talk about it...?" He says, tapping the tips of his index fingers (claws) together, nervously. Occasionally covering his face up with his hand whenever he noticed people are looking at him. Jaska wore a black shirt that said I love house music. With holes cut in the back of it where his wings went through. He had his wings folded, so they looked a lot less intimidatingly large, occasionally twitching them, since it was uncomfortable to keep them folded like his for long. He wore blue jeans, that did not need to have holes put in them, as Jaska's tail was a little bit above his waist, trailing behind him. He didn't wear shoes, since his claws made it hard to wear them without putting holes through them. Whenever he made a step, his claws made a tapping sound against the floor.

Taking note of Jaska's hesitancy when it came to the power class, Jake tried to reassure him, "Don't worry about it, Jask. Long as you don't talk about it, then people won't ask." It was easy to fool people into thinking that Jaska's animal-like mutations were his only power. Jake had a very steam-punk style. He wore a black bowl hat on his head. Then he had a black vest over his chest, with a grey dress shirt underneath it. He had the golden chain for his pocket watch hanging out of the pocket. He wore black dress pants, with vertical stripes, and black dress shoes. Jake had his overcoat thrown over it all.

Blowing a strand of hair out of her face, Gabe inserts, "Just tell 'em that ya' just have wings, teeth, claws, a tail, and can shoot fire. Then we won't have any problems."

Suddenly, a bit of that nervousness evaporated. Only a little. Jaska was still nervous and scared deep down, but can take it. Jaska tried to force a smile, "Alright guys, let's do this then."

Then the three Valos sat front row. Since there would be little point in sitting in the back, or where there were no one else. Since it'd probably get crowed fast, why not sit in the front?

Dexter 'Rush' Chertok, & Ray J. Drager.

The next pair that walked into the room was the duo consisting of Ray Drager, and Dexter Chertok. The of them to step in was Ray. With a scowl on his face, he quickly gave the room was a quick observation, before shaking his head. He wasn't a fan of these power training classes, to say the least. Since he preferred keeping his powers a secret from as many as possible. So, just in case they start a fight, they certainly won't know what they're dealing with. Which is the best kind of fight to him. He knew that someone would step up to him. If push comes to shove and he has to use a power; then he'd use one of his sub-powers. Because he is inventive enough with one power that it could pass as his actual power. Ray sported a black sports jacket, with a matching black sweater underneath it, and a dark-grey scarf around his neck. He had dark-blue jeans, and black combat boots on. Like he usually does, he had his oil rig sunglasses on. "Eh, can we skip class just this once."

"Unfortunately. No. This class. Mandatory." Rush says in his usual robotic tone. He was used to this, since he spent a good amount of the years here, he was familiar with the school and the customs. For once, Rush wore something a lot more normal, and less like a mad scientist. Though, wasn't completely normal, his outfit didn't match. He wore a green T-shirt with a black jacket over it. He had on grey sweat pants, and white shoes, and red gloves. His welders goggles, along with the rest of his gadgets, were left in his room. Hopefully Len won't mess with them while he's gone.

"Eh, then let's just get this over with."

With that, the pair got seated in the middle of the room.

Drake D. Blackmore, Carmen 'Lily' Santo, & Amimoore B. Dellamorte.

The next person came in with a grand entrance, throwing the doors open, and loudly shouting, "DRAKE HAS MADE AN ENTRANCE!" Before striking a dramatic pose, with his arms in the air in a V formatation. Only to get stares and glares in response. While he was doing his pose, two of the females he had met had slipped under his arms; Amimoore Dellamorte, and Lily Santo. Prompting him to look down. They were hanging out since last night - Or at least Drake was trying to do. After hauling Jesse and Amimoore to the hospital, Drake tried his best to at least get to know the girls. Since he was somewhat interested in them. Mostly getting a date - But Amimoore, seemed disturbed by what happened. What really happened to you...? He thought to himself as he stared at Ami... Then realized that he was still doing the pose. Drake quickly turned to his normal posture as he got his head n the game. Drake was wearing a red and black tracksuit, unzipped, revealing a blue shirt with the superman S on it. He had his goggles on his forehead, and had his silver locket hanging from his neck. He had on red gloves that matched his outfit.

Since last night, Amimoore wasn't doing too good. She was traumatized by what happened, but still tried her damn near hardest to get through the day like she usually day. But, felt distant from everyone else, and just couldn't smile warmly when around people. Not how she used to. She had a scared, or saddened, look in her eyes, as she nervously looked around. She hobbled through the crowds, slouched over, her left arm grasping her right. Amimoore was wearing a burgundy red sweater, with a striped red vest over it. She had on blue jeans with a large belt buckle, and black boots. Since last night, she hadn't properly maintained herself like she usually did. So her hair was still a mess, and she was a little dirty.

Rolling her eyes up into her head, Lily went for the first chair that was appealing to her. She was still annoyed by the events of last night... Mostly everyone's behavior during it. A lot of you were really helpful back there. An exciting first day. Nonetheless, she was going to hope that the rest of her time here will be much better than her first day. Lily was wearing a black hoodie with a skull on the back of it, and a red shirt underneath it. She had on a Punisher skull-cap on her head. The staff had forced her to take out all her facial piercings, other than her ear rings.

The three made their through the room. Naturally, Drake and Amimoore sat in the front of the class. Drake had his right leg over his left one, and his arm on the back of an empty chair. Amimoore just sat down in a chair away from everyone else, her frown and disturbed look on her face obvious. She was nervously looking around, she didn't get over what happened. Lily didn't sit in the front, but she sat away from everyone else. She had black dress pants on with brown boots. Like she always did, she had black gloves on.

Sage Lucas Pimm.

Quickly and quietly sneaking in was Sage Pimm. It sneaked in the room, reflecting all the light around it, turning invisible before entering. The door just randomly opened quiet footsteps were heard. When Sage dropped the invisibility, it was already seated on the rightmost chairs, towards the window. Simply just appearing - Seemingly out of the blue. Sage wore a green and white striped women's tank-top underneath a brown winter coat. With blue jeans and tan boots on. Sage saw Lily in the corner of it's eye, and was almost tempted to try and say hello. But knew that it would be reprimanded by Adam if it tried - So it would save being social for later.

The Power Instructing Class.
(I.E: All my characters. ALL OF THEM)

Now that his class was present, it was time to finally begin. Adam decided to be the one to speak, since it was his class. Adam began his speech, professional as ever, "Hello, there. I should introduce myself for the new students here, I am Adam Blackmore, a longtime teacher at the school. These are my partners for today; Megan Jervious, and Leon Vahan." Adam paused for a moment. Leon and Megan nodded their heads, but didn't speak. Letting Adam continue his speech. "Today will be the first power training class of the school year. But before we begin..." Suddenly the sound of a very violent wind filled the room. Adam, using his air manipulation, made a bodysuit float in the air. For the entire class to see. It was the standard training suit. The suit took the appearance of military armor. It was near skintight suit made of a flexible, but durable, fabric. With an armored kelvar vest, and shoulder, elbow, and knee pads integrated into it'a design.

"... The older students should know exactly what this is; it's the standard training suit for the instructing class. Each of them are made for a specific student, and to accommodate their powers. Before we begin, it is mandatory that every student puts on their suits." Adam pointed to the entrance to locker rooms to the left of the class. "They are in the locker room. Inside, there are marked lockers with your specialized suit inside. Any questions?"

Ene arrived in the class early with tired, tear-stained eyes. She had been occupancies by a nightmare last night- same as always, just a repeat of the memory of her and her mom fighting. And, as usual in this dream, it all ended with her mom dying and then hearing over and over, "it's your fault" echoing through her mind. She was wearing a black dress with a floral design on it. Over it was her sweatshirt, which made the dress she wore look more like a skirt. She wore with it some black leggings and brown combat-style boots. She noticed the Valos siblings sitting in the front and smiled, wiping a little bit of hair to where it was in front of her face to shield her still-puffy eyes. She sat a couple of rows behind them, reminding herself to speak to them later as she kept her attention on he desk to hide her face.

-
Jaylin and Kynan
-

The twins arrived not long before class started, today in matching black jackets, underneath which each worse a different basketball team shirt. Jaylin's team of the day was the Mavericks, and Kynan the Heat. The both wore a pair of dark skinny jeans and high tops. They looked around the room, conversing among themselves.

Wow. A lot of students, huh, Jaylin?

Yeah. So many people to meet and if they're bice enough...

Prank.

I recognize some people from the lounge! Look! There's Amimoore!

Oh- I see.  She seems sad. We should talk to her.

Agreed.

The two walke in unison, their paces and movements the same to an almost humorous extent. They sat beside Amimoore, not even noticing the lack of other people in the area, though even if they had they wouldn't have cared. Jaylin turned and gave her a friendly smile before turning to look at the front of the class as it started. The people in front were just introducing theirselves right now.

-
Len
-

Len arrived a bit late, expression bored. He was wearing a red, button-down shirt an a pair of faded blue jeans that held a few rips and tears in them. He wore a pair of steel-toes boots under them- if not for his pale skin, Len would look a lot like a farming boy- which he was. He slipped into one of the seats in the back row, arms folded, as he listened to what the instructor had to say. He wast allying about a suit... Joy. He slowly stood up and began heading towards wherever the locker rooms were, not even waiting for dismissal.

-
Ene (again)
-

Ene slowly stood up as everyone was directed to the locker rooms. She walked to the back and examined the suit that was meant for her. It was a dark blue, one of her favorite colors. She slowly changed into it, won if at how uncomfortable she found it. It fit her fine and such, but she just didn't... Enjoy how it felt. It didn't really have any special features- it was hard to find things that improve memory control. She looked around the locker room nervously before heading back into the classroom and walking up to the man who had introduced himself as the teacher, hair still in her face to cover her eyes, as it was before class.

"Excuse me? Mister..." What was his name again? Oh, right- "Blackmoore? Um..." Ene looked around neevously, "Do I have to use my power for today? I can't use it- well, I mean I can, but then I shouldn't. I mean..." Ene sighed, looking at her feet, no longer knowing what else to say. "Just please, no." She really didn't want to use her power- it was bad enough to see people's reactions to it- Jake and Jaska's reactions, for example. They either find it scary that she can change their memoriws or they want her to. Both made her feel uncomfortable.

-
Len, Jaylin and Kynan (again)
-

The two boys had a race to the locker room that ended in a tie. They examined their suits, both breathless from their race. They had matching red suits. The boys walked out of the locker room, it he duo now impossible to tell apart, with matching grins. "We're ready to fight," the two said in unison. They were bth excited about the training- their suits were designed to that when the other one is hurt the one who isn't wouldn't feel as much pain. Who've they appreciated a lot.

Len, however, wasn't so excited. His training suit was a a sleek black color, contrasting with his pale complexion and bleach-blonde hair. His suit wasn't really made with anything special since, like Ene's, there's not a wide field of improvement for his power that can't be improved with more training. He slowly walked out of the dressing room, his expression as bored as ever. He stayed away from most people, avoiding their glances.

Valery Arsov

Valery was always a very big fan of training sessions. He may have taken his other classes a little...casually...but this was something he excelled it. Being both a veteran student and displaying uncharacteristic forethought when it came to fighting, Val had a pretty good streak going in the Training Room. Perhaps the others could take him in academics, and Val might've been lazy when it came to athletics as well (which irritated the coaches to no end-he was strong and in good shape, just didn't care enough to try), but the training room was Val's forte.

Val came into the Training Room grinning, one good eye scanning the premises until he found Drake, whom he immediately moved over to. "Ah! Drake! My friend, my friend." Val sat in the seat next to Drake, patting his acquaintance jovially on the back. Val was wearing a gym shirt, which was straining a bit against his frame, and some basketball shorts (odd, given that Val wasn't one for basketball. Too fast a pace. He preferred something slower.) "I hope you remember what I said yesterday, yes? We're going to make a hell of a team in there. We will get a chance to show off for our lovely instructor Miss Jervious, won't we?" Val said, speaking up for Megan to hear him. "It is Miss, yes? Not Mrs?" he winked at Megan, which, well, was really just him blinking, but with a cocky grin on his face, and turned back to Drake. "You nervous? Because you shouldn't be. We will take names and kick ass!" He paused for a moment. "Kick ass and take names? Yeah, that second one. Your country's expressions annoy the hell out of me." Val looked around for a minute more, taking in his surroundings. Then, he enthusiastically clapped Drake's leg and got a wild, manic smile, like somebody about to do something incredibly stupid-but also REALLY fun.

"Let's get our suits. Not, like, in a gay way. We're just going to need to talk strategy if we want to kick major ass. This is first day in prison yard for you, my friend. Can't have you dropping the soap!"

Arianna Madrigal

Arianna came out of the locker room with a rather disgruntled look on her face, quickly approaching Amimoore and the twins-although, with Arianna, she still moved gracefully, managing to look in a hurry and totally at ease in the same time. When she spoke, it was with a smooth, rhythmic cadence, like she'd practiced what she was saying a thousand times over to get it juuuust right. The suit, given Arianna's gift, didn't need to be outfitted for much-although it did seem to allow her plenty of breathing room, along with giving her full movement of her neck and face.

"Ugh? Seriously? We have to wear...this?" Arianna flapped her arms for a minute, looking at the kevlar-reinforced suit clinging to her body. "I mean. Bleh. I know we're fighting and all but...jeez. Also, what is the fighting like, do you guys know? I mean, I'm kinda worried. My...." she paused for a minute. "Power, I guess? Not really a fighting thing. Do we go in as groups or on our own...if we go in as a group we should stay together. Not really feeling the whole solo thing at the moment." She took a deep breath, pushing some of her hair out of her face and trying to stay calm. This whole ordeal was really quite nervewracking. Of course, Arianna wasn't super close friends with any of these tw-three, man, Jaylin and Kynin made counting confusing, but they seemed plenty nice and she just needed a familiar face. Besides, everybody else looked kinda scary. That one kid looked like an animal-which, she knew it was mean to think that about people, and both of the eyepatched people were, well, normally people don't lose their eyes in accidents, you know? It's a fight or the mafia or something. Plus there were like three kids sitting alone and if she went and sat with them then that might be weird so strength in numbers, yes, that was good. Arianna was too distracted with all the worry of how training would go, what they'd have to do, all that, to even focus on the Symphony around her, pick up on people's songs. Had she paid more attention, it might've proven useful in the arena, but Arianna was not yet a master of her gift.

Leila Gabrielle Septim

Leila wriggled into the skintight suit, smiling and feeling like herself. It'd been a while since she could do...this. She was standing alone in the locker rooms, in a private stall, simply because her tattoos and scars tended to draw...unwelcome questions. She looked at the delicate, beautiful writing across the inside of her wrists.

Not anymore.

The suit was an interesting thing. Given the myriad of powers Leila could employ, there were a lot of details that needed to be accounted for. Greed and Lust's powers wouldn't need the suit; in fact, it would just be coming off with Lust's powers, anyways. Likewise, Wrath would simply incinerate the suit, although it seemed like they did attempt to have some form of heat resistant material woven into the fabric. It was a nice gesture, but there was no fire-retardant material on earth strong enough, because it was exactly that-something on earth. Not...someplace else. Pride's endowments would maximize her physical abilities, and the suit certainly seemed flexible enough to allow for rapid movement and agility. Gluttony was interesting, and while Leila was no expert on the matter, the suit did seem to be a bit of a..conduit. Good conductor for electricity, at the very least. Sloth, of course, would need none of this, either. Envy's gift well, it'd probably turn the suit into another one, so there was no worrying about that.

Leila began zipping the suit up when she heard something, a very faint something, like a distant echo of a whisper.

Skintight looks good on you, doesn't it, Leila?

No. No no no no. That's not right. That's not it. That's not how this works she's cured she's fixed Eli put the demons out they can't be back that had to be her imagination not the real thing that's not how

You'll need us in there, Leila. You know you will.

No CENSORED you I don't need any of you I'm fine on my own just fine on my own.

Leila hurriedly zipped up her suit and exited the locker room, finding her way back into the training room. Other people. Other people were good, for once. The sounds of their talking would drown out the demons, at least until Eli got here. She thought of the rosary, which she'd left in her suitcase back in her room. She both regretted that decision and was rather glad of it-who knows how it might have provoked them? Besides, as their taint came back into her, the rosary could've done...unpleasant things to her. Burns. Painful ones.

Leila sat in a chair, doing her best not to look completely terrified-although, ironically, not at all afraid of the training ahead. She was afraid of what came after. If she did panic and lose control, gave into one of the demons, she'd win the fight for sure, but it would come at a very dire cost. And what if she didn't give them a good show? Didn't utilize her gifts? They'd keep needling at her to use her powers but they weren't real powers, they were...

Leila took a deep breath. One thing at a time. One thing at a time. Okay. Just wait for now. You'll be alright.

Jesse Sutor

Last night was hectic and the visit to the nurse required a couple of uncomfortable tests, so it wouldn't be an understatement to say there was no way Jesse could sleep long enough to feel himself again. He likely went to bed before anyone else and still felt like crap when he woke up. Granted, much of the treatment reduced the physical pains, but he was definitely a little different from his usual self. Other than being tired throughout all his classes, he felt uneasy. Paranoid. He found himself looking over his shoulder and staring at the apparitions as though they were time bombs. He hadn't a clue what prompted that sort of attack from them, what could have agitated him. All he could think about was their faces piercing through his eyes, staring right through them as their screams set his mind aflame. Almost as if they were trying to expel him, but now here they were ignoring him as usual. They don't even acknowledge other people - almost as if they didn't exist. But why was that girl Amimoore affected? Nobody else did, it only would have happened if she could see them too.. and yet she blamed him. If she could see them then she would've known it were the apparitions. These thoughts were too confusing for him, trying to pay them little heed throughout the course of the day.

Though he had to admit... he felt odd, strange even, before the occurrence. As if something was watching him.

Today he dressed himself in a simple yellow/black plaid button-up shirt (with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows), faded boot-cut Lee's, and his boots. Generic, of course, though the yellow might make him stand out a little bit. His long hair was clean and brushed back dry, generally doing what he can to make himself presentable without being over the top. The last class of the day was power training. It'd be interesting to watch everybody else, of course, but what could he do? He'd no doubt be under watch, but he didn't know how to control them, the others couldn't even see them. Frankly, Jesse wanted nothing to do with them. They were dangerous, horrifying, and could be set off at any moment. So what could he do aside from stand there and look awkward? It was required - probably the most important class. He had to think of something.

Walking into the training room was a sight to behold. It was large, ceramic, and somewhat grandiose to a degree. He made his way in alongside a couple other students, twins by the looks of it. Jesse had a fraternal twin. He was at home, living the normal life. How odd it was not being around him, that he'd be the freak and not Nicholas. Three teacher stood in front of the room as the students began to congregate. He had to think of something now, or soon. As he made his way up the isle, he noticed Lily near the back seated by herself. Taking a seat next to her seemed like the best idea. Given last night, she was probably the only one she liked around here so far aside from Valory and he wasn't anywhere that Jesse could see him. That was good reasoning, right? He hesitantly took a seat next to her, giving her a nervous smile in greeting before facing forward. He didn't have to say anything, right? Surely she'd understand. Nobody but her really bothered to lend a hand. He was a little off if she were observant: his eyes darted around nervously, at seemingly nothing, but they were consistent enough to show that there was something more to it. That's when the teachers began their speech.

Damn it, he had to do something. Think, think! Okay. He could see these things. They weren't ghosts, some instinct at the back of his head told him that. His blue eyes were weird, that's one thing. There were a touch luminescent, one would notice, if they had focused hard enough on them. There had to be a connection, some sort of connection. Something that allowed him to see - and feel - them in ways that others couldn't. He had to focus on that. Could... could he command them? They were intangible, so he didn't know if they could even see. But they could see him. Last night was an indicator of that. Jesse's eyes locked on one of the things... but damn! He averted his eyes again, fearful of the chance it would suddenly turn around and scream again. There was something wrong with them, they were trouble, and he was in the center of it. He was the only one that could see! And worse off, hear... this anxiety made paying attention a chore to do. But the skin tight suit was enough to snap him out of it.He had to wear that? That thing? Sweet mother of God, that looked ridiculously uncomfortable! Sure, kind of cool, but there was no way he could see himself wearing that. If only he could find a way to get out of this trap.

Then he heard a ruckus outside the door, asking nothing in particular who on earth it could be. Then a bone chilling whisper crawled up his spine and into his brain.

"DARK SKIN KNOTTY BLACK HAIR LEATHER JACKET TALL ATHLETIC."

Jesse's body froze. T-that was a whisper. The voice was estranged and alien, hollow and daunting. He recognized the description - that was the Abraham dude from last night. But how... his head turned to his side to see the face of an apparition staring into him, inches away from his face. Jesse's eye instantly widened and the color was drained from his face. A good moment had passed before the apparition turned around and continue its trend of floating about. Jesse still sat there cold with his hands shaking and raspy breaths.

No, no, he had to be hearing things - it didn't talk to him! But it STARED at him - he must've been seeing things too, now he's hallucinating! But it was that moment that the door swung open and what came strutting in was none other than Abe, content as he could be. Jesse felt his eye twitch. This had to be a long nightmare.

Abraham Gene

Hoo boy, what a day! School was a piece of cake, as per the usual. He never did pay attention to well, but a lot of it covered what he already knew - or had at least figured to some degree. Simple. What did they they was going to happen? He already graduated high school. And now? Now was training time! And know what you should always do when going to a place you like? Arrive in style, of course, and how do you do that? Show up to the party late, that's when the fun begins after all. He crashed upon the doors full of confidence and bravado. His attire was made out in expectation of the training course. Loose, relaxed jeans, strong steel toed boots, and a white men's tank top with a black leather jacket draped over his shoulders. He walked down the isle and took a seat by himself, noticing nobody in particular. No need for distractions after all, that was for after class. After class where he could perhaps find a chance to cut it loose with some friends or some ladies he manages to come across. Maybe he could serenade them with a guitar or ukelele. Could the ukelele serenade? Well sure, maybe, given the proper song. A good one that reflected his feelings to do was "On The Robert E. Lee" by Neil Diamond. Hell, just thinking about it nearly had him burst into song!

So what did they have here now? There was a presentation of a sort floating in the air. Damn, if it wasn't a spiffy looking suit. Bet he'd look quite handsome in it! It was a bit of a shame though, wasting barely any time dressing up as shabbily as he did. He didn't expect them to have this sort of thing on hand, though it was probably his fault for being naive about it. But hey, this was a little exciting nonetheless. Who did he get to spar with? The teachers or one of the students? Man, this would be awesome. He could show what he was really made of. No normal person could stand up to him even without his powers, surely the same is going to apply here. His power only amplified his physical aptitude. It will be a cinch to beat anybody he gets paired with.

Abe was filled with profound confidence. I'm going to win. I know that as a fact.

Seth

Seth walked out of the locker room the very moment class was starting. His power made doors optional, and so he had already donned the suit from his locker. Instead the vest and plates of the suit Adam was displaying, the entire thing was made of an ablative composite weave covered in tiny circular disks of a metallic sheen. It was steely grey in color, and it hugged his body prominently displaying his well muscled abs and pectoral muscles. The knuckles and toes were particularly reinforced. He stood off to the side of the teachers and waited in case there were any questions from the new students. His thoughts were on what would be asked of him, and how he would make sure to downplay himself in sparring.

Vespera and Cassandra

While the duo were fashionably late for most of their classes, power training was not one of them. This was by far the most useful class in both there minds, and on top of that Adam wasn't the type of man to appreciate tardiness from returning students. They both knew the drill, so instead of sitting down amounts their peers they went straight into their designated locker room. "I wonder what the fresh meat have to offer this year." Vespera said audible enough for anyone else with them to hear.

"Easy enough for you to say, I'd hate to be in the ring with you." Replied Cassandra in a teasing tone.

"Oh please." Scoffed Vespera. "I don't remember the last time you even had to do anything in a fight." Her mind flashed back to sitting bored in bleachers while her friend and a now graduate student just stood in the arena until it timed out as a draw.

"Maybe they realize when the bell rings that their in way over their head, or they can't bring themselves to hurt somebody that has never once displayed offensive power use in ten years."

"I highly doubt that, besides none of the freshies know that."

Vespera looked around at the others. "Now they do."

They laughed together and finished pulling on their suits. Cassandra's was a female version of Seth's,  a benefit of having an arrangement with him. He likes to protect and monitor his allies equally, part of the reason she can put up with listening to him all the time. It was designed for maximum protection without being cumbersome for those that had no special suit needs. Vespera on the other hand needed a custom one. Also being Seth's design it was made primarily of the same the other two, but it lacked the disks and reinforcements. Covering her primary joints were shaped armor plates next to sealable slits. Smaller, and larger versions of these were found on the fingertips of the gloves, and on the sides of her abdomen respectively. When they were all dressed and ready to go they both took seats at the very back on the opposite side of the room as Lily and Jesse.

Drake Deltori Blackmore.

Val's arrival put an instant smile on Drake's face. Since he just remembered the team they were going to make during training. Old Man Winter and the Plasma Man. The perfect combination of hot and cold. Well, Drake probably packs more heat than Val has cold, but it's all good. Drake just quietly listened as Val spoke, with a grin on his face that matched Val's. Only when Val asked if he was nervous, then he spoke, "Heh. Nervous? Nah. I'm an infinite fountain of confidence." He laughed a little bit, before cracking a joke, "Haha... But I think these kids need it more than I do." He was mostly referring to Len, Sage, Amimoore, and Ene - All them of them visibly lack the confidence that Drake almost drowns in. Then he answered Val's remark about impressing the female teacher. Hmph. She looked nice and all, but Drake had more 'realistic' goals in mind. Drake spoke in a smug, "And while I want to impress all the ladies..." He looked back in the chair where Lily was sitting, giving her a confident look. "... I have one 'end goal' in mind, if you know what I mean." Then it hit him, everyone was getting their suits - And he was sitting out here chatting with a friend. Oh, he could feel all the stern looks coming from Adam. "Oh, yeah, I should probably grab my suit, Val. Talk to you in a second." Drake quickly ran into the locker room, so he could quickly put on his suit and kick some @ss.

The Class.

The various students quickly emerged from the locker-room, donning their brand new suits.

Sage Lucas Pimm.

The first to come out was Sage, with a jovial look on it's face as it walked out. It's suit was a white color, and much shinier than before. Sage's suit is specially designed with lights integrated into several parts of the suit, so that Sage can light bend them - Even though it's a basic use of Sage's power to create limitless amounts of light. Since invisibility came with it's power-set, Sage could change into it's suit without anyone learning of it's gender. Even if they had some way to see through invisibility, there'd be no way they'd be able to see that. The lights in the room suddenly got much brighter, when it emerged. Sage quickly grabbed the seat that it had before and sat down.

Gabriela M., Jaska D., & Jake V. Valos.

After putting on their suits, the three Valos siblings had regrouped outside the door, having a quick chat.

Gabe's suit was a  dark-red armor, that appeared to be one of the standard suits, except it was thermal resistant, and there was nothing to cover her hands. To allow Gabe to fire her lasers without fear of damaging her outfit. Gabe actually liked her outfit. While a bit uncomfortable, it looked bad assed. And it was made for her. That made it special. "I love this suit already."

Not pleased with his forest-green suit, Jake snapped his fingers and crafted an illusion around himself. He made an illusion of the outfit he was wearing before, he put on this stupid outfit. The reason why he hated it was because it was ugly, and uncomfortable. "Hmph. Glad you like it." Jake says disappointed.

On the other hand.... "This is soooo coooool!" Jaska says, quickly examining his yellow suit. His suit was modified to fit around Jaska's animal features comfortably. A lot better than an improvisations that his parents made with his existing wardrobe. With his suit being thermal-resistant/fire-proof. It was also a lot more flexible and lightweight than the other suits, because Jaska is a lot more agile than everyone else may seem to think. It also made him feel like a super hero. To say the least, he really liked the outfit. He turned to the teachers and loudly asked, waving his right hand in the air, "Oh, oh, oh! Mr. teacher! Can I take this home?"

Only getting a quick and stern "No." From Adam.

"Awww..." Jaska says, disappointed.

This prompted a bit of laughter from his siblings. With Gabe putting her hand on his shoulder, pulling him away. "Come on ya' little bit, let's go sit down." She pulled Jaska away, and looked for somewhere to sit down. Then at the corner of her eye, she spotted her roomie, Leila. Well, they haven't really talked since last afternoon yesterday. And she's yet to meet her two lovely brothers. Gabe quickly sat down in the chair next to Leila with a loud thump. "Heeeey, roomie, where have ya' been? Ya' missed the screaming beuties in the lounge last night." She said, referencing the events that took place last night. Now that it's over, it was more amusing to her than anything.

Twitching his ears, Jaska made his annoyed response, "Eh, it was annoying..." Jaska trailed off, remembering how annoyed he was last night... Before snapping back to his usual demeanor. "Oh, hiii pretty lady." He greets Leila, jumping up on one of the chairs a few spaces away from them, before sitting down. He had his tail wrapped around his midsection, with the blade right on top of his belly.

Gabe shrugged, "So, have I told ya about me twin Jake, and my other brother, sweet little Jaska?"

"Nice to meet you," Jake greets Leila.

Ray J. Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.

Rush reached into his locker and pulled out his "customized" suit. It was a humorously hot pink colored suit that would otherwise be standard if Rush hadn't made his modifications to it. The suit had wires running throughout it, and strange electronic devices mounted at the wrists. He used his abilities to control the gadgets, so there was no need for buttons or triggers. It wasn't his intention to train - In fact, he believed that this school couldn't teach him anything that he can't learn on his own. This is information gathering, and his body has been secretly mounted with several cameras, so he can record everyone and try to know what they're capable of, should they oppose each other.

Ray's suit was a dark-blue color, which matched the color his power produced, oddly enough. His suit was a lot more flexible and allowed freer movements. While a bit uncomfortable, Ray liked his suit. He was punching the air. Practicing, breaking this new suit in. Though, he doesn't plan on using that aspect of his power anytime soon. He stopped, making one strong punch that was like a haymaker. Before stopping to go look for Rush. When he found him... Well, Rush's outfit color caught his eye, "Heh, where the hell did you get that?" Ray says to Rush, trying to hold the laughter.

"Don't laugh. Had this for months. Destroyed last one. Gave me this color. Said it was... All they had."

This response only prompted laughter, and a whisper "Heh, keep telling yourself that."

The pair sat back down where they were before they got up to put their suits on.

Carmen 'Lily' Santo.

"My god... What patriarch made this stupid outfit? I'd give that verga a piece of my mind." Lily stiffly walks out of the locker-room, blatantly uncomfortable. She didn't like the outfit because of how impractically uncomfortable it is - She'd rather be naked than wear this thing. Worst of all, it made Lily feel like a s.lut. It was almost skin-tight, she could just feel the boys getting eye candy. Ugh. She continued ranting, "I swear to god, I will leave this school and never come back if they subjugate to this crap again..." On the plus side, the suit was the same color as her hair! She awkwardly hobbled back to where she was sitting, she saw Jesse sitting not too far away from her. Lily wanted to check up on her. She tried to force a smile, and hide that irritation from her outfit. "Hey, how are you holding up since last night?"

Amimoore Black Dellamorte.

Shade wrote:
Ugh? Not really feeling the whole solo thing at the moment."

Amimoore was a bit more distracted by Jesse's appearance than anything else. Oh god, not him.

But, for once in her life, she felt uncomfortable around the nicer students, the ones that she'd be fine calling friends. Since last night was rather straining on Amimoore, she was clearly acting off. She was hesitant and nervous in her interactions, along with looking sad. "Oh, uh..." Ami says, clearly caught off by the barrage of questions. "It really isn't going to be... fighting. Like-like... A lot of students think. Just... practice. I've bee through this a million times, it's... easy...yeah easy." Amimoore had blatantly been staring at Jesse for a moment, mid-sentence. She was going to keep her distance, because she thinks that he did that to her on purpose. Then she turned back to Arianna, "And we'll work as a group to... Train. But it r-really depends on what the teachers want to do... Might try to... s-surprise us with something new." Amimoore then turned her head away. Normally she would be talking about how ineffective she felt the training was, but wasn't in the mood.

Drake Deltori Blackmore. (2)

"My good god..." Drake says, having put his suit on. It was the standard suit, jet-black colored, except the palms of his hands were exposed. He had put his goggles over his eyes. Making him look like the superhero he had dreamed of when he was a little boy. But he would have something like a cape on, or a long coat, just to give it that Blackmore superhero charm. He charged out of the room. Though he wondered why the palms of his suit were exposed. Like, what was the purpose - Oh yeah... Power replication. Well, hmph. He had no plans of copying anyone's power anytime soon. His plasma form fulfills mostly all of Drake's offensive needs - Maybe if someone has something that interests him, like shape-shifting, then he'd get their powers. Quickly turning his run into a walk, he made his way through the class room slow and steady. Drake sat down where he was before, next to Val, "Heh, did say I'd be back, didn't I? How do I look? I think I throw a leather vest over all of this, then I'd be the hero that this world needs. But doesn't deserve. Heh."

Adam Leo Blackmore.

Celo wrote:
"Just please, no."

Adam pushed his glasses up his nose and looked at Ene. Doing the professional thing and trying. Not everyone has powers they wish to share, for their own reason. Which is why Adam and the rest of the power instructors have basically stopped trying to force students to share their powers. Allow them to use how much of the power they are comfortable with. When Adam spoke, he was actually addressing the entire class, "No. You are allowed to use as much of your power as you are comfortable with. We won't pressure you. The same goes with everyone else." His tone professional as always. He nodded his head and then spoke again. "Now, the actual class will start shortly, not everyone has put on their training suits. Take this time to get comfortable in your outfits."

Ene
-

Ene nodded at Adam, a smile now on her face. "Really? That's great- I, uh... Thank you," Ene nodded again at him and then quickly scurried off. The suit, since finding out she wouldn't have to use her power, suddenly felt much more comfortable- even if it did hug her a bit in different areas, she felt more comfortable in it with that one thought.

Ene looked around the room. She saw Jake, Gabe, and Jaska talking to some girl. She would like going over there an talking to them- honestly, she mostly enjoyed talking to Jake- but she didn't want to seem like she was overly-attached or anything. That would be just weird. So she looked around for someone else to talk to.

Ene noticed a girl- no, a boy. Girl? No.... She noticed someone sitting silently at a desk. He... She.... It seemed to have a bright aura surrounding.... It? Ene slowly walked up to Sage, giving it a friendly smile. "I, um... Hey."

Jaylin and Kynan
-

The twins listened to Amimoore itently. "That so...?" Jaylin asked, voice trailing off.

Amiseems so sad, Kynan.

I know. We need to find a way to get her to smile.

Yeah. Oh- when did Arianna join?

She was her the whole time!

Ooooooh okay. You didn't need to snap- Seesh.

Sorry.

Jaylin looked at Arianna and smiled, "Hey!"

Kynan, meanwhile, was trying to comfort Amimoore. He looked her in the eyes, his face one around six inches from her, and said with a very serious voice, "Smile..."

Jesse Sutor

Jesse had previously followed the others to the locker rooms, collecting his suit along the way. These things looked uncomfortable. He really wished he didn't need to put them on. Setting aside his clothes in a locker, he donned his suit. It was the standard black edition, nothing too peculiar about it aside from a single addition: some kind of ear piece that wrapped around his temples a little bit. Some sort of neural device? They only one who should've had an idea of Jesse's power was like was Leon... he had probably arranged this one way or another. It was strange though, how he apparently figured that Jesse's power was related to the mind - though the apparitions did attack him earlier. He wondered what this thing would do when it was activated. He came outside and lingered out where he was before.

Distractions were something Jesse was used to, between hordes of children and the invisible swarm that had seemed to surround him at all time. He had barely noticed Lily approaching him until she had spoken to him. He looked to her before being momentarily taken back by her appearance in the suit - not to say it was bad, just... unexpected. He quickly ignored it and addressed her actual question.

"I feel a little... unglued. For lack of a better word." He said. His eyes darted to the side and back to Lily. "But I'm holding up okay, thanks to you."

Jesse looked around the room at the other students for a moment, before looking at Lily up and down. "I can't believe they're making us wear these things." He said with halfhearted laugh. "Eh, they could've made them a little looser, don't you think? This is ridiculous, I look like a clown with tights."

Abraham Gene

On the other hand, Abe was beaming. He had fitted himself with the suit that was provided to him and began checking himself out; not too bad, not too bad! It fit him well. The suit wasn't as tight as the others, but it was enough to frame his physique. He was huge among some of the others who were younger and scrawnier than he. The suit itself though is traditionally black, but alterations were made to his suit: the pads on his elbows were gone and the sleeves had cut off at his biceps. The material was resistant to tension stress, something to help keep it from ripping if it were stretched. He felt padding inside the feet, which were thick a somewhat bulky - surely to compensate for the change of size. This suit, however, wouldn't be able to compensate for... one of his techniques, which may be against the rules anyway. Rules shmules, if the guy he's fighting happens to be good enough or fast enough, he'll probably just throw caution to the wind and let it rip. Show off for the crowd! The crowd loves a good show, after all.

He made his way outside the locker room. His confidence radiated off of him as he paraded down the aisle Surely there was someone he recognized? There was the pissed off screaming dude from last night talking to Lily, and sweet heavens did that suit hug her nicely. They were talking, and Abe was about ready to pitch in when he heard Drake's voice. He swung around and saw him talking to a guy with an eye patch like Gabe. Seemed like a cool enough guy. So it was a hit or miss with Lily, or a straight shot with hanging out with Drake and his friend over there. Seems like the safer gamble. A random flirt wasn't as good as a popular flirt, or at least another random flirt with a large fan base. Having some friends wouldn't hurt. So he made his way towards the two, intending to introduce himself.

"Hey, hey, hey! How's it going Drake? Who's your friend here, eh? The name's Abraham - call me Abe - nice to meet ya!"

Which may or may not have messed Val up to some degree. Abe talked fast, switching from saying hi to Drake to introducing himself to Valory nearly without pause. His hand was stuck out in greeting and a wide smile stretched across either side of his face. He appeared friendly enough at least.

Merry had entered the entered the training room as quickly as possible, only a little late. As she had feared she had misplaced her left shoe, causing her to have to turn her entire side of the room over to try and find it. She finally found it under her pillow. Once inside she had glanced around the room at all the students in the chairs. She was desperate to find someone she knew that she could sit near, but found no one. Frowning slightly, Merry found a spot to sit down near the side of the room, away from anyone she might know. She was able to spot Drake and Gabe through the crowd, wondering if they had seen her as well. She sat back in her chair, silently trying to straighten up her ever-messy hair and make herself look less of a wreck. She continued this worried fidgeting until the class began. She slowly took her hands away from herself, looking up at the three teachers. This class seemed rather exciting to Merry. It was awesome that they would all be coming together to show off their powers, but the suit thing was rather nerve wrecking. Hopefully hers wouldn't make herself look too terrible. She got out of her seat as the other students did, moving towards the locker room.

After putting on her suit Merry frowned at her reflection in the mirror. It could have been worse, but it was nothing Merry would enjoy wearing on a daily basis. Maybe it would grow on her. The suit was black and rather tight to Merry's disliking. The suit covered her neck with the stretchy material and cut off again at the top of her shins and halfway down her arms. The suit also came with hair-ties, as if encouraging her to keep her short hair out of her way. She quickly pulled her hair into a tiny pony tail, thinking about how silly she must look. Her shoes were even silly, they appeared to be normal shoes, but had gaps cut into the bottom. Merry knew her powers worked best with her hands and feet free but it just seemed...silly. However what she loved about her suit was what was wrapped around her hips, an almost fanny-pack shaped that was sewed into it. The large pocked was full of different places to keep small objects, something she knew would come in handy knowing her power.

Once dressed, Merry hurried out of the locker room, looking for someone she knew. Luckily it didn't take must searching for her to locate Lily, an several of the other people she met during the crazy poker game. Merry made her way over to her roommate, her arms wrapped around her torso, as if trying to hide her figure.

"I know, right?" Lily says to Jesse, since they seemed to have a common ground on how much they dislike the suits. Well, Lily disliked the suits more than Jesse ever will. Mostly because he never had to worry about his curves being so... Pronounced. "This makes me look like a comic-book character..." She says, looking down at her purple suit. Worst of all, Lily didn't want to do this stupid training to begin with. She didn't like her power, nor did she really want to explore it at all. Her main concern was keeping her power a secret at all costs. Or just misdirect them. It was luck that nobody connected what happened last night to her, and she intended to keep it that way. Lily was snapped back into reality when she saw Merry approaching. "Oh, uh, hi, Merry." She says, trying to get her mind out of masking her fears, and more into the social scene. "Yeah, let me introduce you two, this is my friend; Jesse." Lily used friend merely because of a lack of a better word, and she could consider him a friend. Just not a boyfriend. Suddenly, Lily felt quite awkward, whether it was because of the mental mention of a boyfriend, or just that she did little to contribute to the conversation, was unknown. Well, she was a bit nervous about this stupid training... Actually, perhaps the three of them can work together during this. Like a team of heroes that Lily so desperately didn't want to be! Lily spoke to them, "So guys, while I don't want to do this stupid training, maybe we can, you know, work together...? But look, I don't know what you all can do, and I don't want to know-" Because you don't need to know what I can do "- But maybe we might get through this a little better, eh, as a group?"

Sage merely raised an eyebrow at Ene. She seemed, nervous, hesitant. Well, not as nervous as Sage thought of itself as, but... Never mind. Sage was going to be as open and kind to Ene as it was to everyone really. Despite the somewhat awkward introduction. "Oh, hi, I'm Sage." Sage tried to make the lights in the room dim a bit. Argh. An unfortunate side effect of it's powers, but it has adapted. It wanted to keep the conversation, but didn't know how to go about it, "Is the class, um, making you nervous? Because uh... It's not that bad. Adam is one of the best power instructors here..."

Ene smiled a but as Sage introduced himself...herself... Itself. "I'm Ene," she said. So far, so good. Now for the conversation. ... It seemed nice- she felt awkward calling it "it" though.

Ene laughed nervously. "I know, I already met him. I mean..." She hesitated, not really used to talking to complete strangers about such matters. But then, this stranger seemed nice- really nice. " I was worried about using my power here- which is good that I don't have to. But I feel awkward, not around people I know I guess so I tried talking. I'm sorry." She left out the part about her nightmare, which had left her a nervous wreck that morning.

Jesse Sutor

Jesse laughed at Lily's comment about appearing like a comic book character. She actually had a point, how the suits hugged some of the guys in such a way that it showed their muscle tone. It was less apparent in Jesse's figure, but it still managed to compliment him somehow. He looked over at some commotion on the side and noticed Abe - with the suit on, and without all the layers, you could see how built he really was. He stood out even among the other well toned guys. But there were, of course, exceptions. The suits weren't meant to flatter, and that could be seen in some people. The suits were supposed to be tight and whatever appeal you may find in another would naturally be found in their body. So yeah, the suits were uncomfortable - and they highlighted some features - but how it could be looked at is how that the suits wasn't changing anything that wasn't already there before. That being considered, Jesse wasn't a big fan of the suits and how they appeared to sexualize body types, but Lily looked good whether she was in a suit or not. Not that he would ever admit that to her.

"Hey, at least the suit matches your hair." He mused.

This other girl approached the two, whom he soon learned was Merry. He recognized her from last night, who was at the poker table with Lily before the accident. Speaking of which, he was still a little frightened and on edge from earlier, from the noises he had heard and the appearance of the apparition. The occurrence had confused him terribly and frankly left him somewhat disturbed. He recalled wondering who it could've been that was making the noise, and supposedly, it was described to him. By one of the ghosts. Naturally, it prompted new questions to plague his mind. How did it happen? Could they see the real world? If they could, why couldn't the others see them? Can they interact with the real world? And most importantly, could he do it again? Could he control them? He doubted the latter - any ounce of control would've prevented last night's accident, but he must have had some degree of influence. This piqued a new found curiosity in him. Something he would have to try while he was being tested in the training room.

Jesse was snapped out of his thoughts as Lily introduced Jesse to Merry and vice-versa. What? Oh, right, Merry.

"Oh, Merry - er, hi Merry, I mean - nice to meet you." He stammered, slightly embarrassed by his... dazed disposition as of right now. He wasn't so often lost in his thoughts as he has been recently, but given how he's learning more and more things about himself than he cares to. In turn, it creates more problems and mysteries he has to solve - lest he becomes frustrated and lost, or at least more so than he is now.

Lily proposed something interesting. A partnership between the three, though it would likely be tentative at best. He had only just met Merry, though he could say the same about Lily... but he had felt a closer bond to her than with Merry given how she selflessly offered her help. Regardless, there was more problems with the teamwork idea than just that.

"That sounds great," Jesse said, though his initial optimism faded into a frown, "I like that idea, and as much as I don't like talking about my... 'power', I don't know what good being a team is if none of us knows what the other is capable of."

Arianna Madrigal

Arianna may have been a bit of a ditz, but she was by no means a complete fool. Especially when it came to picking up on the subtle signals others gave off, Arianna was a people person even without her gift amplifying things. Of course, figuring out that something was troubling Amimoore didn't exactly take a Psych degree. "Oh. Okay." In a way, Amimoore's anxiety set her at ease. After all, Amimoore seemed pretty laidback, so if something other than the impending power stuff was bothering her, then the power stuff couldn't be so bad, right!

Still, it bothered her to see Amimoore upset. She wasn't super close with this girl, hell, they'd barely made each other's acquaintance the previous night, but Ami was cool about Arianna running into her leg and all. It wasn't cool to not help nice people out, ya know? Not to mention Jaylin and Kynan were here, and they seemed chill too-although, Arianna privately thought, getting used to talking to two-in-one people was gonna take a while.

"Hey guys! So here's the real question, right, do your suits merge too or do your bodies come together and leave one of the suits behind?" Although intended as a joke, Arianna was actually perplexed by this issue. She still, however, hadn't forgotten Amimoore's problem. Still, without knowing the girl very well there wasn't much she could...

...do. There was something she could do. A smile crept onto Arianna's face, lighting up her features. She brushed some of the hair back behind her ear, inhaling deeply, and began humming under her breath. Something simple and upbeat, something that immediately found its way from Arianna's lips to the chaotic, troubled cacophony of noise rippling off Amimoore. The tune was designed to ease her a bit, like a bit of musical Valium, and help calm some of the apparent anxiety that was bothering Amimoore. Of course, it would probably perk up the twins and whoever else was around them too, since Arianna wasn't focusing its effects on one person (which took much more energy), but she didn't think anybody would mind a bit of pep in their step, courtesy of her metahuman talents.

Val's suit was from the big and tall section. He wore it well, as Val may have been bulky, but he wasn't fat. The suit, however, had quite a bit of personal embellishment-it led one to wonder if Val had outfitted it himself or made nice with the school's tailor. The majority of the suit was normal, Kevlar weave clinging to his skin with ceramic plates reinforcing crucial areas. There were elbow pads and knee pads, along with gloves that might've been sap gloves. The whole outfit was winterized, with white and grey colors functioning as a sort of primitive camouflage while also making Val look a bit like the Abominable Snowman, and not in the intimidating way. It didn't, however, seem to bother the school's resident Russian, who had replaced his eyepatch for something that looked more like a single-lensed goggle. It was, perhaps, still an eyepatch, but was tinted and protruded out from his face a bit-with close examination, one could see that Val was able to "shutter" the lens and see without taking the monocle off completely. Finally, the back of Val's uniform had a overcoat protruding from his shoulderblades, which was fused with the mantle of the coat. It seemed flexible and functional, and probably more for style than anything else-personally, it reminded Val of home a bit, and helped make him a bit more of an imposing figure. Still, as silly as the white-and-grey clad Russian in heavy snow boots might've looked, his gear was functional and proved useful in the past.

"Yes yes, a vest. Then you will look almost as ridiculous as me, eh? But no, a leather vest, you could pull it off, I think. If I can get the leather eyepatch you can do a vest. Maybe go for..." Val paused, thinking of the words. "Chaps! Leather chaps. I am kidding. If you wear chaps I will make fun. No offense." Val clapped Drake good-naturedly on the side of the arm. "Now, some free advice for the superhero we need but don't deserve, or whatever that line was. Take it slow, yeah? Lot of new kids go in and burn themselves out pretty fast. I think your mouth is where your money is, but still. Slow and steady wins race, in my experience. Always some dumbass who passes out in like five minutes. It was me the first year, I have since become much, much..." Val's gaze drifted to a girl who was walking by and he stopped talking for a second. "...uh, wiser, or something. Yeah."

With a nod, Drake thought about the advice that Val gave him. He didn't think he'd succumb to over-exerting himself that early, he was an infinite fountain of energy, always had the strength when he needed it. That, or he thought way too much of himself. Still, he was going to take it slow, just to conserve strength just in case something cool pops up later. He didn't want blow all that energy away on this. "Heh, 'slow and steady' usually isn't my thing, but I'll take your word for it. Because I'd hate to embarrass myself by making myself look too eager, right?" Which reminded him; he should stretch, warm up, before he starts this session. He took a few steps away from Val and started. That's when the guy he met at the poker match approached him.

Lieo wrote:
"Hey, hey, hey! How's it going Drake? Who's your friend here, eh? The name's Abraham - call me Abe - nice to meet ya!"

While continuing his stretching, he turned his head towards Abraham. He hadn't seen him since last night when the poker fiasco started and finished. He still was glad to see him. "Yooo, Abe." Drake greeted Abe, not stopping his stretching routine. "See you got yourself your suit? Pretty cool. How you like mine? I think It'd make a great super-hero costume if I get a chance to make some adjustments." Drake stopped stretching for a moment. Merely so that he can demonstrate his power to Abe, and test something. A small orb of super-heated plasma formed in the palm of Drake's hand, a simple use of his power by selectively transforming a part of his hand. The heat could be felt throughout the room, but Drake kept it contained. He cupped the orb with both hands, keeping the orb steady, floating a few inches in his hands. This small, meager, orb can really burn someone, which is why he was being careful with it. Drake looked up at Abe.

He had an offer for Abe: "So, me and my bud Valery over here are going to form ourselves a little team. Don't know what you can do, but wanna join up?"

Amimoore Black Dellamorte.

"Smile..."

It was certainly an odd thing to say to someone. Amimoore broke eye-contact, looking away, and took a few steps back from Kynan. The attempt to comfort her didn't exactly work as intended. In fact, it made her feel less uncomfortable than before. Maybe they don't understand what Amimoore's feeling because they're much younger than her, but they weren't helping. "It's fine, it's fine..." Amimoore says to the twins. Trying her best to appear normal. "Just... Still... A bit shaken from last night. That's all." She looked around nervously... Hoping for this class to start so she can just get this done with, because she's done this a million times. "... Sorry." She says, snapping back into reality.

For a moment, Amimoore found herself focusing on Arianna's humming. It soothed her a bit, made her at ease. She found herself a bit more relaxed, and less stressed. She didn't know why, because at this point she was terrified of the idea of using her telepathy again. But, whatever it was, she hoped it didn't stop.

Carmen 'Lily' Santo.

"Hey, at least the suit matches your hair."

In response to Jesse's comment, Lily laughed a bit. "I know, they were probably being smart @sses when they made mine." She looked away at everyone else. Some people seemingly enjoyed their suits. She didn't know why they would - But maybe because they were really shameless sex maniacs deep down. The thought amused Lily a little bit. Not so uncomfortable for you, now isn't it? But she came back on track by the time she realized a dumb smile had crept up on her face. She probably looked like a moron. Lily told a little joke, "But let me tell you something; I get the feeling that some of the people in here are into this...."

Lieo wrote:
"That sounds great," Jesse said, though his initial optimism faded into a frown, "I like that idea, and as much as I don't like talking about my... 'power', I don't know what good being a team is if none of us knows what the other is capable of."

This was... Something Lily hasn't considered. Well, Lily was only proposing a group, just to be in a group. Lily liked working in groups with people, despite being more than capable of handling herself. If they force everyone into teams, then she'd rather work with these two than any random strangers. On talk of powers, she had a basic idea of what Jesse's power was, and had no idea what Merry's power is - Her goal was making sure that she didn't know what she can do. Hopefully, she wouldn't have to use her powers to begin with. Lily would only use her power if people really needed it. Like what happened last night. But, she felt like she could talk about it around these two. She had a feeling that Jesse nor Merry won't tell anyone. Still, she's not going to outright state her power. "Alright, I don't know how I could really help but..." It was clear that Lily was hesitant to tell even the slightest hint of her power. "... I can... Do things, with people's powers. Which is how I really helped you last night, Jesse." Lily says to them, heavily hinting that she was the one who made the pain stop.

Sage Lucas Pimm.

"I know, I already met him. I mean..." She hesitated, not really used to talking to complete strangers about such matters. But then, this stranger seemed nice- really nice. " I was worried about using my power here- which is good that I don't have to. But I feel awkward, not around people I know I guess so I tried talking. I'm sorry."

Sage didn't really know how to really respond to Ene getting awkward around people. Merely because Sage has a similar problem, and didn't want to really talk about it to an utter stranger. Especially because this is just small-talk until the real class gets started. So, just to keep the ball rolling, Sage decided to address Ene's worry about using her power, remembering what it said to Jesse yesterday, "."

Adam Leo Blackmore.

Seeing how a majority of the class had gotten themselves set up for the day, Adam felt like the class is ready to begin. However, there were a few students that weren't ready yet. He was going to urge them to pick up the pace, and put a stop to those socializing. "Alright, class is almost about to begin. I recommend wrapping up what you're doing now, and finish getting ready."

Kynan and Jaylin
-

Kynan frowned as Amimoore didn't seem to cheer up.

It's not working. Normally it makes the girls in or class giggle and smile.

Huh.... but she is older.

Yeah. I hope she will cheer up.

me too.... oh! Arianna asked a question!

Jaylin turned to Arianna, "Yeah- everything we're wearing merges together. Which is sometimes weird, like the time my St. Louis Cardinals shirt said it's name, but had the Red Sox logo on it." He cast a sideways glance to Kynan, jokingly holding an annoyed look on his face.

Then Arianna began humming a soft tune. Jaylin and kynan both stopped and looked at her, expressions of awe on their faces. Kynan noticed it was calming Amimoore, as well. He smiled, feeling more lively than normal. He could tell from his link with Jaylin that his brother did, too. Both of the brothers just stood there in silence, enjoying the tune.

-
Ene
-

Ene sheepishly smiled at Sage. It didn't seem to be much of a talker, but at least it was nice. She heard Mr. Blackmoore telling everyone class was about to start. "Well, it was good talking to you. Hope we can speak some more later." she turned around and walked to her seat form earlier, patiently waiting for training to start.

-
Len and Bre
-

Bre had started out her second year of the Academy doing her normal thing- sports and photography. Taking pictures of different students (with their permission of course). She was planning on doing a photo album for each year. She walked out of the dressing room in her training gear- a silvery, metallic-colored suit. She wore her sunglasses, as always, and looked around the room, trying to find someone to talk to. Her eyes scanned the room before settling on one boy in particular. He had ale skin and light blonde- almost white hair. He seemed vaguely familiar.

Bre frowned, trying to think of who was like that. Oh- that's right! He was really quiet, but once she got to know him he would talk to her more. He looked like her friend from before she moved- Len! It couldn't be him, though- right?

Bre walked over to the boy- his black suit made his skin seem even paler. She walked in front of his desk and gave him a friendly smile. The boy raised an eyebrow in response, but there was no other sign that he knew her.

Len did, in fact, think the girl seemed familiar. REALLY familiar. He tried to remember where he had seen that face- and the sunglasses- before, and a blush slowly rose to his face. "Uh.... hi?"

Bre grinned, "Hey! are you Len, by any chance?"

"Yeah."

"Great! You don't remember me? Bre? C'mon- you have to remember me!"

A small smile appeared on Len's face. "I knew I had seen that face somewhere," he laughed. It was really quite a shock, actually. Of all the people- an old childhood friend. Len couldn't help but think that Bre had become really attractive, as well. He felt his face heating up, again. "So, uh.... this your first year, too?"

"Nope- second," Bre smiled as she sat beside Len in a desk. "So are you planning on doing the arena thing? What's your power? Wanna be in a team?"

The questions hit Len in surprise. "Uh.... yeah. I can control pain- pain manipulation. Pass pain to others. Block pain." He felt comfortable talking about his power with Bre- being childhood friends did that, kind of. It was strange how Bre acted the same as she used to.

Bre nodded in response to Len's reply. Pain manipulation- sounded cool. It was a power she hadn't heard of before. "I can make people stop moving like Medusa for ten seconds whenever they make eye contact- so you now know the reason for the sunglasses."

"I always wondered why. it makes sense, now," Len smiled- he was talking a lot more than earlier, now that he was with Bre. "So, are we going to team up, then?"

"Sure! Losts of people here have awesome powers and stuff, but I have an idea for how we could win," Bre smiled. The two began planning their strategy.

Jasmine

The first day of power training was always a low day for Jasmine. She absolutely hated these suits with every fiber of her being; they were too tight and ugly as sin. They made her look like a superhero, and often made boys stare due to its skintight nature. Jasmine's suit was black with grey highlights on the sides and the inside of her arms, as well as the inside of her calves. Over the suit, Jasmine wore her black wool trench coat to try and keep the stares down, and in her left hand was a cup of coffee, as usual. This time, she was drinking from the holographic "I hate.." mug. Every angle you looked at it at made it say that she hated something different. From her perspective, it said "I hate 1D". She still draw a few wandering eyes, though, and suddenly learning personal information about each wandering glance didn't really help. Suddenly, feeling rather insecure, Jasmine quickly walked over to the first person she recognized: Rush.

"I absolutely hate these outfits." she said, blushing "They make me look like a Playboy model in a leather suit, and trust me when I say I am NOTHING like a Playboy model. Thank God for coffee." She took a rather angry sip, if sipping coffee can be personified as such, and rolled her eyes as she saw another boy look at her now-exposed curvature. Oh yes; she was most definitely going to murder someone by the end of this day.

Neal

Spoiler:

Unlike a few others, Neal had gotten used to the costumes, and actually liked them. His suit was the same as it had always been. The skintight material was a medium tone purple, while the pads were all a deeper grape color. Around his waist was a dark purple belt and hanging from it, a psychic whip which Neal had created when he put the suit on. It was his usual three-tailed whip, with sharp hooks at the end of each eight-foot tail. As usual, Neal was alone, leaning up against the wall and waiting for someone he knew to talk to. He didn't see Animoore as of yet, and he didn't recognize anyone else other than Jasmine, who was looking quite seductive. Neal pinched himself hard and reprimanded himself in his thoughts. Don't think about her like that! he yelled at himself She's a heartless b*tch and if you fall in love with her again then she'll break your heart again.

Eli

Eli left the men's changing room shortly after Leila left the girls'. His suit was specially-designed, apparently, and he was quite liking it. The suit was pearl white with a gold vest and pads. In the center of the vest was a copper-colored greek cross. On the shoulder pads of the vest were two copper-colored fleur de lis, and on the back of it was painted a copper pair of angel wings. It was rather ostentatious for his tastes, but Eli loved it all the same. He allowed his eyes to glow golden (as they usually did when he wasn't trying to look normal) and a golden halo floated over his head. Not really knowing anyone else (besides Sage and Jasmine), Eli made his way to where Leila was and sat down next to her.

"This suit is a bit too ostentatious for my taste." Eli said "But you've gotta admit, it's pretty badass." He knew there was something wrong, though. Leila had that look on her face again. She was terrified.

"So they're back." Eli stated flatly, frowning. God dammit! he thought to himself why can't I do anything right?!

Fortunately for Jasmine, Ray nor Rush had no interest in Jasmine in that way. For their own reasons. Rush being asexual, and Ray isn't exactly that kind of guy - Especially since Jasmine is younger than him, and that's just creepy. Now that he thought about it, a lot of people did look uncomfortable in these suits, either because of how tight it was, or how badly they looked in it. He didn't have a problem with it because his suit was much looser and flexible to allow for better, more fluid movement. While Ray did like his, he wasn't going to say that to her. "Hmph, the faster we get through this stupid class, the faster we can get out of these suits." Ray says, in his usual low tone. He was speaking more of his dislike of the class itself, than the suits themselves, which Ray liked - Well, at least his own.

Rush didn't have any problems with the suit, due to the modifications he made, and he was long used to his suit. Despite how silly it looked. Rush was about to say something, but was interrupted. That's when Adam stated that class has begun. Rush turned to Jasmine, "Jasmine. Will meet you. On training grounds." Then the pair followed after the rest of the class.

The Power Instructing Class.

Song for the class:

Seeing that the rest of the class is finally prepared, Adam knew that it was time to start the class. No time to play around, the students have plenty of time to do that after class. "Now that I see everyone is finished preparing we can begin. Would you all follow me?" Adam turned to the stairs, and walked down them into the training room. With Megan and Leon following following him - The three of them walked in unison. The rest of the class followed the three in a, mostly, orderly fashion. The entire class had gathered in the training room, as it was mentioned before, it was a massive octagon shaped room that was the size of a foot ball stadium. The room had various square tiles on the floor, that were either platforms or other walls, obstructions, or other terrain for training. The room is customizable, so with with a few presses of a button, the room can be set up for a variety of different classes.

The three instructors continued to lead the group until they formed a little group in the center of the room, inside a little black and yellow striped ring. They were silent. Until Megan spoke, "Ah, what a large group we have here today? Don't you say. Now my little darlings, before we get to the exciting training; we are going to start with a little warm up."

Stepping forward was Adam, he pushed his glasses up his nose and spoke, "Megan is correct. We always begin with a simple warm-up, but, I have to get started with the preparations." Adam then pulled a remote control-like device out of his pocket and pressed a few buttons. Then that's when the room started to configure itself. A cacophony of mechanical sounds echoed throughout the room. Then trap doors, of varying sizes, opened on the floor throughout the room. A variety of targets, turrets, and supplies quickly elevated up to ground floor. The targets varied from simple bullseye targets, to human dummies and padded targets, both are reinforced and durable as hell, so they could take. Small turrets deployed on the floors and walls, shooting harmless plastic balls at the class. The turrets too were reinforced to allow them to take punishment. Coming through the floor were also some supplies for training. Supplies being elements and other materials for those with associated powers. Small pools of water, a jet of fire, disks of rock, and so on.

"Room configuration complete..." A speaker says.

Adam looked around, then at the class. "Now, remember this is simply a warm up. Just hit a few targets to get yourselves into it. But don't give it too much energy. Begin."

And so the "warm up" session began with a little bit of target practice.

Jasmine

Lovely. Some target practice. Jasmine rolled her eyes as the training warmup began. She was standing to the right of Rush looking as bored as she possibly could. Her power wasn't an offensive one, and so something like this wasn't really her area of interest. She watched as the others broke off into battle, and simply stood there with her arms crossed. A single plastic ball flew at Rush's face, and she caught it a foot away. She remembered his power: technopathy. Maybe she'd have some fun after all.

"Wanna have some fun?" she said nonchalantly "There's a panel in the wall on the right side of the octagon that leads to the turret controls. Maybe we could...vamp this exercise up a bit." Hopefully he'd take the bait and help her; she was almost certain of it. Then maybe she could have some fun.

Neal

Neal smiled happily as he saw the turrets pop up from the octagon. Being back in the arena felt great. The turrets popped up and Neal smiled devilishly. He drew the whip from where it hung on his waist at the word "begin". In his left hand he held the whip, and in his right appeared a medieval-style kiteshield. Neal cracked his neck loudly and ran at the first turret. The plastic balls bounced off of the shield harmlessly and as soon as he was in striking distance, he cracked the whip. The hooks dug into the turret and he rolled past it. The torque put on by the whip and his movements tore the turret halfway out of the ground, damaging it. Neal broke the whip off before he could overexert himself and repaired the hooks. He transformed the shield into a wide flat roundshield and launched it at the second turret. It hit the turret in the center of its body and bounced like Captain America's shield, hitting a second turret and then bouncing back to Neal. He caught it gracefully and the shield disappeared, putting less strain on his power. He didn't want to overexert himself before he actually had to do something.
