Merry had watched with great interest as the other, stronger, students began to duel and practice their powers. She hoped she would get to know them better, maybe allowing herself to get stronger herself. It only made her feel a twinge of jealously, wishing her powers were a bit more physical. It also made her a bit nervous for this strange power test they would have to go though, not wanting to embarrass herself. Hopefully whatever teacher she was assigned would go easy on her, as she hadn't had too much time to explore her powers to her fullest.
Suddenly her thoughts of excitement was interrupted, by the girl who had approached her and Lily. But now Lily had wandered off, leaving Merry to fend for herself. Merry tugged nervously at the sleeves of her suit, suddenly feeling uncomfortable. Merry was normally so good at making friends, but at this school things seemed a bit different. Any of these people could be capable of anything. Maybe this Rose girl could read her thoughts or burn her to a crisp if she said something wrong. Merry mentally scolded herself, it was unfair for her to think such rude thoughts. Even if she didn't know Rose it wasn't fair for her judge her so harshly.
Merry knew she was wasting time, needing to respond soon. "Oh um." Merry stuttered quietly, trying to recall anything she knew about genetic diseases. Time to change the subject. "So...Rose right? Are you excited to do this power training stuff?"

While Neal went to town on the turrets, a gleeful smile crept up on Megan's face. All the destruction he was capable of. It was just so pleasant. That was all that's necessary really. Except for a few reviews. But that wouldn't take too long. "Now, now, I certainly am. That was very good. All we have left to do is a few reviews and we'll be all done here." Megan then pressed a button on the remote that removed all the turrets from the room. She then looked at her clipboard. "Alright sooo... Have you found out anything new about your power lately? Like anything you couldn't do before and can do now?"

So it's easier for me to block my own pain than it is someone else's." Len yawned, his expression still bored as it was before. "And I need to concentrate to block pain, yes, and if I stop the pain returns."
Leon wrote down everything that Len said on his clipboard. Seeing that he's gathered everything he could about Len's power, he decided to finish up the private assessment here and now. "Very well. I believe we are done here. Would you follow me?" Leon then walked out of the private rooms back into the larger training rooms.

Adam and Titus stood in the center of the room. He pushed his glasses up his nose by the bridge. "The file states that your power is super strength and regeneration, correct?" He says. There wasn't any room to improve an ability such as his, but Adam was going to do the usual. Since trying to get him to demonstrate his regenerative abilities would be frowned upon, Adam was going to test his strength. Adam pulled out the remote and pressed a button. A large stone slab came out of a trap door that had to be several hundred pounds at least. "Would you mind demonstrating it?"
Ray Judah Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.
Now this was an amusing turn of events.
Jasmine, for whatever reason, decided to trick the girl into thinking that she was behind it. But the kicker was Bre believing it. Which was amusing since if either of the boys were in place of Bre, they definitely would have at least thought of the possibility that she was lying (Or their relation to her). But nope. It was easy to say that she wasn't the sharpest tool in the box. Which threw out a bit of possibility for them recruiting her. Easy as that.
Though Ray found himself to be a bit annoyed. He raised an eyebrow at Jasmine, then raised one at Bre. It was a little funny for a few seconds, but now there was a risk. If she was a rat for the teachers, now Jasmine just pointed fingers straight at them. Ray looked down at the floor, and put his knees apart from each other, resting his arms on them. Ray just put his two cents in, speaking to Bre, "When people aren't laughing, that means it isn't funny." All he wanted was for Bre to go away. They had things to discuss. Without her. He wasn't afraid to get that across, either, "Now, anything else we can help you with?" It was a rhetorical question.
"Very well. Nothing to worry about." Rush blankly said. He didn't turn away during the whole thing, he kept his eyes on the teachers. The only thing he focused on doing was not laughing. Now that would be a blatant. Other than that, he did nothing overtly suspicious.

Bre -
Bre smirked at Ray 's question. "Not really... Anyways," she snapped her sunglasses completely off her eyes for a moment to look at the three, revealing her bright red eyes before putting them back on, hoping one of them had a good look at her eyes. She wanted them to have their muscles stiff for ten seconds. "Don't underestimate me. Okaythenbye!" Bre quickly said the last sentence before spinning around on her heel and walking away. She wasn't going to tell anyone at first. Now she might, considering how rude they treated her. Just tell them that she knew Rush and the other guy were involved, though. Jasmine was not-so-rude. If they ask how she knew... she'll think of something. She wasn't going to bring it up yet, though.
Len should be returning some time soon.
- Len and Bre (and smaaaall part with Ene, Jaylin, and Kynan) -
Len nodded as he stood up, relieved. "Okay. Good." He slowly followed Leon out of the room and returned to the larger training room. He saw Bre walking away from Rush and two other people.
He also saw Jaylin and Kynan pulling some frantic-looking girl around, who he could hear saying, "I already know her- she's my roommate!" Len smiled, holding in a laugh before his expression returned to normal.
Bre waved at him as she walked up, "Hey! How was the training? It's just like being questioned, right?" She smiled.
Len nodded, "Yeah- really easy."
"Great! Whenever they pull me in for 'questioning,' though, I'm gonna do some questioning of my own. Like, my main one- can we have a dance at the school this year? That would be fun!"
Len only nodded in reply. He didn't like dances, truthfully. Too many people, there.

Abe's grinned widened as he watched Drake's form burst into a colorful plethora of hot fire and plasma. He wasn't going his full form with him, it seemed. Abe realized he was being underestimated - either that or Drake was simply testing the waters. Regardless of his intentions, if Drake didn't feel like showing off his phoenix now, then similarly, Abe thought that now may not be the best time to reveal the golem. He looked around his surroundings: the room was made of a finely polished concrete in all directions, and so the lips of his toothy grin pursed. This was his domain! Poor Drake is going to be surprised.
He followed up with Abe's prompt, hurling a fiery ball of hot plasma his way; however it lacked luster, lacked passion like the balls of fire that he had demonstrated during the warm ups... it was disappointing! Abraham thrusted his arms in front of him with his palms faced forward, solidifying right before contact. The plasma had dispersed much like Drake had predicted. But as the cloud of smoke and steam had cleared, Abe was revealed to be quite alright, as well as the means of his defense. His hands were swollen twice their original size - and were utterly made of stone. Abe laughed off the impact, pressing the rocky knuckles of one hand into the palm of the other. "Come on Drakey!" Abe called out with a guffaw. "Could've swore you had a bit more spunk than that!"

Jesse Sutor
That's all that she would tell him? That's fair, he guessed. It wasn't like he was sharing everything either. He actually felt pretty bad about that, but bad feelings only help so much. He let Lily perform her magic as he sat patiently. Of course, nothing seemed to have happened at first as far as he could tell, at least, not until he remembered that he wasn't really paying any attention to or looking at anything other than Lily herself, another embarrassing moment that which was oddly parallel to the previous night, hopefully she wouldn't notice. If anything she'd hopefully think of him as nothing more than an oddball. But oh - yes - the effects. What effects? Jesse looked around the room and at himself. Nothing peculiar of course, everything normal and--
What? Normal? Normal!
Everything was normal! He couldn't see them, they weren't there. Excitement welled up in Jesse's chest, his eyes were widened, even his breaths were short and many. "They're gone..." Jesse murmured to himself. He turned to face Lily, looking at her with some mix of horror and awe and amazement and reverence. "They're gone!"
Unfortunately, not all good things can stay. The odd feeling that had previously overcome him had faded and he watched as the apparitions materialized back into his vision. The smile on his face had faded away into nothing but a deeply disappointed and baffled frown. They were back. Whatever Lily had done hadn't lasted, and the relief he had felt was gone. The luminosity in his eyes had as well returned, so based upon that, if Lily was paying close attention, would be a good indicator of when he was able to see them and when he was not. It also matched up well according to his reaction. Jesse's attitude was notably more sullen than it was when his powers were disabled, and it was evident in his voice as well as he sighed. "...so you're able to do that with anybody, huh? For how long?"
Jesse was obviously discouraged, but the more he thought of it, the less it seemed to matter to him. It also seemed more hopeless. Lily was talented and amazing, and he appreciated her efforts, there was no doubt about that. While it was true that seeing them all the time was unnerving, made him restless, and more or less somewhat hellish, the thought of not seeing them was also sort of terrifying. It clicked in his head that, despite not being able to see them, they would still be there. They would have the ability to affect others despite their lack of obvious presence, Amimoore was proof of that... he'd at least have the advantage of knowing where they were.

"Heh... Little did you know, all I was doing was seeing if you can take the heat." Drake says, cocky as ever. While he spoke, he pushed his transformation along a bit more. The plasma traveled from his hands up his arm to his shoulders. Then his knees and feet exploded into a cloud of plasma. The heat he gave off started getting more intense, but nothing that they can't handle. Seeing how it seems like Abe can take the heat (Drake half expected him to be rolling on the floor) by turning into stone, it's time to up the ante. "Now that you've made your accommodations. Time to put the big boy pants on." Orbs of plasma surrounded Drake's hands. He once again leveled them at Abe's body. Then he shot off a stream of plasma from both hands. Which boiled the air, and would disperse on contact. Still signifying that he was holding back. If he really wanted to, he could engulf Abe in the plasma. But there was no guarantee that he would survive.

... Now that wasn't a good idea... Lily thought to herself as she watched Jesse's enthusiastic reaction. All she did was get his hopes up, only to dash them away once the effects wore off. It really made Lily feel like a d*ck, but hopefully Jesse won't be too torn up over it. On the plus, she didn't anger the apparitions. So maybe this might be the first step to turning off his power for good. Which is what Lily hoped to learn here. A better understanding of her ability. Maybe after she's gotten control of her charging, maybe she can learn how to turn the powers off for the dangerous Meta-humans, and the ones that have powers that makes them miserable.
Lieo wrote:

There was much more to it than just disabling powers from a distance. It was quite hard for Lily to explain this. "Well..." Lily says, looking around. "Yeah, but how long is where the problem is. You see, it's different depending on the power... Like yours, it'd stop working for a few seconds, but..." Lily looked around for an example; then pointed at Sage and Gabe practicing, throwing lasers around. She nodded at them for Jesse to look. "For powers that are... turned on - Uh, how do I put this. It's only stopping conscious use, once they realize what's happening they can start using their powers again like normal. Which is mostly a few seconds. It's helped me plenty of times in the past."

"See ya." Ray says nonchalantly. He was still looking at the ground from before, he only raised a hand as a goodbye. He was utterly uncaring about Bre's threat or feelings. Because she's just one of many girls that they'll run into here, and to Ray, she's as insignificant as the rest. So pushing her away was no big loss. Ray around, before speaking to Rush, "Hey kid genius... Hm?" Only to notice something off.
Rush had made the unfortunate mistake of looking into Bre's eyes while she went off. He was paralyzed for a few seconds. Until it wore off, and he was back to normal. It didn't take a genius to figure out that Bre was behind this. "... She took off her sunglasses. Looked at her eyes. Mistake. Won't do again."
This turn of events irritated Ray more than anything. Because it was a stupid use of power (Slightly ironic given the stunt his partner pulled) and all she's accomplished was just showing them what her power was. It was probably a joke, but on a tactical level, she just told her enemies how to beat her. Just don't look into her eyes, and that power of hers is worthless. "Idiot, she just showed us what she can do, and I already figured out a way to fight her." That's what Ray liked about this place already. Nobody knows what the f*ck subtly is. They show all their tricks in jest or to show off, and when the real fight starts. Which is why Ray was discreet; he keeps his true strength for when the real fight begins. Hell, he was behind the balls being deflected and that would be impossible to trace back to him without advanced examination. "Idiots here don't know what discreetness is. Is everyone here like that?"
"Yes. Will plenty of them. Wish it was different"
Ray smiles jokingly and put his hand on Rush's shoulder, pushing him a bit, as a gesture, "That goes for you too, poindexter. Cut the technomind; people are already figuring out what you can do."

Arianna Madrigal
Ooh. This school did have a few cute guys, it would seem. Arianna, grinning, was more than happy to be talking to somebody: especially because they approached her, not the other way around. Always a nice feeling, you know?
"Hi! I'm Arianna. Nice to meet you, Jake." He reminded her vaguely of a few other people she'd seen walking around-her first guess was family, maybe, but given how everybody here had superpowers and stuff, it could be shapeshifting or something like that. Ooh. Shapeshiting. That'd be kinda freaky, she'd have no idea who was who...or would she? Could they mimic their Song? Huh. That'd be something worth looking into. "My warm up? Oh. Well, honestly, I couldn't really do much. I can't, like, shoot lasers or stuff. My power's with my voice. I..." she frowned, a momentary lapse in her usual chipperness. "I just realized how lame this'll sound. My voice is like..special? Don't really know to describe it. Just when I sing, stuff happens. Not really much I could do against those turrets, but that's okay. Fighting, even against a robot or something, is kinda scary." Arianna realized she was kinda opening up a lot to this random stranger who probably didn't care. Maybe turn the conversation back to him? She brushed some of her hair back behind her ear and continued. "Enough about me, what about your warm-up? And do you know what we have to do back there? This is my first year here, everybody else seems to have a clue but me." Arianna's voice was as subtly enthusiastic and effervescent as always, making the fluorescent lights around her shine just a tad bit brighter and the students practicing within a feet feel just a touch more energized.
Arianna turned to greet the twins and some new girl, whom she didn't recognize. Beaming, Arianna waved at the twins. "Oh, hey guys! This is Jake, if you haven't met him. Who's your new friend?"
Valery Arsov
Valery wasn't too bothered by Abe's ignoring his warning. Hey-Val could barely enforce his will on himself, he wasn't about to try with somebody he barely met. Still, Val's clairvoyance hadn't been wrong yet, and even though most of the regulars here knew roughly what he could do, he felt he'd hold off on any more serious displays of power until he was behind closed doors. And then, in a moment of uncharacteristic paranoia-or, perhaps, forethought to the more cynical, Val realized that might not be safe then.
You are overthinking things.
And yet Val still felt a bit uneasy.
"Perhaps you young kids can duke it out. I'm old and easily worn out. Perhaps I sit on sidelines and referee? I've got to save my strength for when we bet big on Arena fights and go demolish competition, yes?" Val found a chair and sprawled out, propping his feet up on another nearby seat, and watched Abe and Drake spar. Interesting. Drake's plasma powers were certainly potent-and Val didn't know enough about plasma to really counter it scientifically. He wasn't exactly attentive in chemistry class-the only thing that really grabbed his attention was when something Russian got brought up, particularly military history. Val based his own fighting style around the country's strategies the last century or two. He figured if it stopped Napoleon and Hitler, it could stop whatever the Academy had, too. Not that Val was as egotistical as his teammates: he certainly knew his weaknesses, but he had faith in his strategy.
See, Val didn't need to beat anybody to win. Val only needed to not lose. What little Val did know about science was that to make something happen, you gotta spend a little energy yourself. And all that heat Drake was slinging around, all that stone Abe was turning into, well, he knew it took more energy to do all that than it did to make a few drops of water freeze up. Val may not be throwing glaciers at his enemies, but you don't need to throw glaciers when a few icicles can do the trick.
Similarly, if Abe and Drake did truly want to spar him, he'd have the edge as they'd worn out their energy fighting each other. No, Val wasn't the brightest one out there, but when it came to the friendly duels of the Academy, he had a bit more intelligence than he let on.
Whistling to himself, mist puffing out from his lips each time he did so, he eagerly watched the fight, glancing occasionally at the others around him. Val did enjoy heckling Drake and Abe. "That is cute, Abe. You get rock hard for Drake so soon. Do not forget foreplay!" "Drake, maybe if you did not throw like girl you could hit Abe in time, just saying." He leaned back and ran a hand through his greying hair, enjoying the spectacle. He did wonder if Drake needed mitts to grab stuff out of the oven. Val, despite his teasing, was good-natured-very rarely was he malicious towards people. Hating people took more effort than Val was willing to expend.
Leila Gabrielle Septim
Oh, honey, I'm sorry things aren't gonna work out.
Leila, who normally tried to ignore Envy, did feel compelled to ask why she said that.
Well if he's calling you "Satan" on Day Two of your relationship I just don't think it's getting better from here. But he does have that nice righteous thing going for him. You've had enough bad boys, don't you think, maybe you could clean up your act a bit?
Sloth, who rarely spoke, murmured I think your act's okay as is.
Leila ignored them both, taking a minute to respond to Eli-when two people are talking to you at once, it's tricky to keep the conversations going and your replies straight. When eight people are, it's near impossible.
"...no. Don't. Not here."
And why is that, Leila?
"They won't let us out and people will notice. Then everybody will know..."
That's not the real reason, is it, Leila? If you don't have us, you have nothing when you have to go show off your powers in just a moment. Have you thought about how you're going to deal with that?
Leila's stomach, which was empty (she wouldn't be able to resist Gluttony for much longer, but starvation was the best way to keep him from affecting her) and nauseous, rolled over. She hated when the demons were right.
Perhaps, Madame Leila, this school is not going to be the best fit for you.

Nodding his head, Jake smiled. So far the conversation was going fine. He didn't know what it well, but he felt drawn to her. There was something about her voice... It might be her power, which she just described. Jake didn't know what she's capable of, really. Hopefully she can't mind control him. "Doesn't sound lame to me." Jake says, with a warm smile. "Maybe you could sing for me sometime." He says, near flirtatiously. He didn't exactly cross off the possibility of getting with this girl, though he'd use a bit of subtly. Hopefully, he didn't make things awkward. Just in case, he planned on keeping the conversation going by telling her about his power. It was a simple power to explain; illusion creation. Except they're more than just simple illusions. "My warm up was... Good." Though, it was hard for him to avoid stating that this warm up was boring and underwhelming. He wanted to avoid talking about negatives. Just positives. "I'm the master of illusion. I can create anything I can think of. Observe."
With one snap of his fingers, he crafted an illusion off to the side. He created a small stone fountain, that sprayed water up into the air, and could be heard. The splashing sounds of water rushing through it could be heard. If anyone put their hands into it, it would feel like they stuck their hand into real water. "A little thing about them is that they're hard to tell from reality, if I put my mind to it." Jake put one finger on his forehead and smiled. Giving her a cheerful look. Then it turned to a frown after he thought about it. She might not like him because he has that kind of power. People will start to think he's constantly trying to trick them. "... Uh, I wouldn't do anything mean with my power like trick people. That'd just be annoying." Hopefully, she'd take his word for it. Since he wasn't the type to pull stupid pranks - They annoyed him more than anything. Just like the. Especially how everyone was laughing at it. So stupid.

Now isn't this dandy. Right when Jake was getting some nice one on one conversations in, her friends had to pop in. Ene was with them. There goes any and all chances of flirting with Arianna. At least until they go away. "Hey, Ene and company." Jake greeted them, nodding his head.
Gabriela M. Valos, Sage L. Pimm, Jaska D. Valos, & Leon M. Vahan.
After the little stunt with the lasers that Gabe and Sage pulled, they really hit it off. They were training, but doing a lot more than training; they were actually talking. Having polite conversation and sharing tips about the school. They had long dispelled the laser that Gabe had fired and promptly suspended in a stasis. They were sitting down on their behinds, and surrounded a glowing orb made out of the lasers that Gabe had created. It was a heat laser, but not overwhelmingly hot as it normally it, so it wasn't too unbearable. Sage was using his light manipulation to keep the orb suspended in. All while Jaska was looking around, bored as ever, with his arms crossed across his chest, and his tail wrapped around his waist. He wanted something else to do other than watch these two train - It was hard to do the watching part, since the lights would flash.
The conversation continued with Gabe, while she had her hands orbiting the orb of lasers, "... Ah, ya' been 'ere for years?"
With a nod of it's head, Sage answered, "Yeah, I have been here for years. But..." Sage looked around at everyone here. "... I like to stay out of people's way, so not too many know me."
Gabe smiled and responded, "Ah, ya' not the kind that likes attention? Ironic, since ya' shine the brightest."
"Yeah. People..." Sage says, about to go on about the teasing that it gets because of it's gender identity, and sexuality. But that's not something it wanted go into now. "... Never mind."
While Gabe wasn't the best people's person, but she could pick up on signals like the ones that Sage just put off. Gabe said, "Ah. Just to yell ya' I'm the girl to come to if you ever need anyone's legs broken."
Then a new voice spoke, entering their conversation, "Ah, it's nice to see you're getting along with the other students, Sage." Leon Vahan had approached the pair (Trio, technically). When he spoke, everyone looked. Since it was Sage's turn to be assessed this time around, and Leon wanted to do that himself. He had his arms crossed across his chest. He had an amused look on his face. "It's your turn, Sage." He says, adjusting his glasses.
"Oh..." Right when Sage was starting to enjoy itself, it's time to be assessed finally came. The orb of lasers that it had been maintained suddenly disappeared, along with it's hair suddenly deciding to glow a bright white color for a few seconds, and began to flow, like a wind was blowing through. Frowning, Sage looked at Leon and said, "Uh, can you find someone else?" It asked, at least trying to get a few minutes of extra time.
"Nah, best that we get this over with now, and then you can continue your training." Leon says,
Since a new arrival came, Jaska had got up off the floating eye, and landed on his feet with a loud tapping sound. He had picked up his scent and heard him approach, but that wasn't important. Jaska quickly examined him, and noticed that sword that he was carrying along his side. Jaska leaped over to Leon in a single jump. He had a enthusiastic happy smile on his face and asked, "Coooool, you're like a samurai, right?" Before looking at the rest of him and realizing that he was one of the power instructors from before. Then he forgot about the sword, going on about his rampant boredom. His smile turned into a frown as he asked, "Can it be my turn already? I'm bored."
"Yes, and no." Leon answered, "We have ourselves an organized list. Your turn will be soon enough."
Gabe was less than amused that Sage was being taken away. That actual smile on her face turned into a frown, and she rolled her eyes up into her head. "Yeah, yeah, can you just switch the two around and do Jask first?" Gabe asked, crossing her arms.
As a joking gesture, Leon put his hands up and looked directly at Gabe, "Now now, I'm only taking him for a few minutes, then you can continue your conversation." Leon used him to refer to Sage, since it was fine with either pronouns. ((Speaking of which, I should probably start using they/their instead of it))
"Fine." Gabe says, "I don't care."
Without anyone else saying a word, Leon turned around and walked into one of the private training rooms with Sage in tow. Once in the training room, Leon assumed a stance, and grabbed the hilt of his sword, "Alright, Pimm, how about we skip the questions and go straight to the demonstration. I wanna see how good you've gotten with those light sabers of yours."
Sage only created two long light swords, and prepared for it's 'assessment.'

Abe laughed at Valery's commentary as he watched Drake's balls of plasma being propelled his direction. The man was funny, he could give him that! Good natured and he clearly wasn't intending to be mean. He could see them being a good team - they were all fairly confident, Drake in particular (though it was probably hypocritical to think so). There'd be a couple things he could say before he made his next move, but he only had time for one. Goad Drake or humor Val? Val's jokes were harmless and he hadn't needed to say much to express his amusement or play along with him. But Drake... man, that was nearly a blow to his pride. Of course he could take the heat! He was made for taking heat!
As the orbs of plasma neared him, Abraham launched a punch into the ground causing it to simultaneously crack on the impact and erect a jagged wall of stone before him, taking the orbs of plasma and causing them to disperse. The moves he makes are quick and powerful - and admittedly took a fair amount of energy that would likely exhaust a normal person - but it was required to make efficient use of his power. Add on to that the fact that he has a great amount of endurance and energy fueling him, so the trade off wasn't that bad. Regardless, what he was doing now was nothing. If this was all Drake could dish out, Abe felt a mighty bit sorry for him. "I'm almost disappointed! Come on Drake, wake up!" Abe tittered.
Almost as if to help with the waking up process, he brought up his foot from behind the wall - which was obscured from Drake's perspective - and kicked it. The impact causing its connection to the ground to be severed, and sending the wall gliding across the floor (the floor itself being pretty torn up along its trajectory) towards Drake's direction, who who would see a great rock wall encroaching closer upon him with no sign of stopping. Impact upon it certainly wouldn't just cause it to disperse, unlike the plasma orbs, and was far more likely to cause a huge bruise and perhaps a broken bone if you're unlucky. Getting trapped between it and the wall of the training room, well... that'll just ruin your day to put it lightly.

He just nodded in response. Passive powers had pros and cons obviously, his own having more cons than pros. He tried to tell himself it wasn't that bad, that he could find a way to live with the apparitions. Another part of him desperately wanted to help Lily improve on her abilities and perhaps disable his connection with the apparitions completely as a trade. But with that would also sever the connection to her, the school and everyone else in it. He wouldn't have a power anymore and would no longer be welcome here. It was a somewhat troubling situation he found himself in, and he welcomed the chance to have friends again. She started talking about how her power comes in handy sometimes.
"I can imagine." Jesse mused quietly to himself. Though now that he thought about, it was weird. How often did it help her? Plenty of times? How many meta-humans did she encounter and how many did she manage to piss off? She seemed like a nice and pretty girl, and perhaps some metas were cocky and arrogant and made unwanted advances. But he couldn't rule anything out regarding Lily, he had only met her the previous night, despite him not wanting to believe it. He wasn't sure how she was about opening up to someone like him, but it was worth a shot asking.
"So... how often is plenty of times, exactly? I mean, if you don't mind me asking of course."
He wanted to expand upon his question a little more, asking her why she got into those situations in the first place but stopped himself before he started asking too many questions at once.

Ene, Jaylin, and Kynan -
End looked in shock at Arianna as she asked the question. They were roommates... though they hadn't really gotten a chance to formally meet face to face considering a few... problems. Speaking of which, End needed to apologize. "I-um.... your paper says you have a roommate named Evelyn. I'm... her, but my nickname is Ene." She was quiet for a moment before adding in, "I'm sorry you hadn't met me yet. I had arrived before you, I believe, and left my stuff in the room. Then last night, I came in late because I couldn't sleep, and woke up early for that same reason. First day jitters, I guess," Ene smiled. First day jitters.... and fear of the same nightmare she always has. A wave of sadness came over Ene and then went away as she continued smiling. "I deeply apologize. I guess this is like our first time meeting, then. Once again, I'm sorry."
Jaylin and Kynan both turned to Jake, in perfect unison to where it was a laughably freakish way."Hey!" Jaylin smiled, "who're you?"
Jaylin- that's rude. He's obviously annoyed by our presence.
Yeah. So what harm would it do if he's more annoyed?
...not much, but that's not the point.
Point, sh-moint. I say we just be nice to him and be ourselves.
That is a good statement, but try to be a bit more polite.
Fine.
Javelin sighed and added in, "please let me rephrase that- it's nice to meet you." He paused. "So what's your name?"
Kynan facepalmed. At least it was better than the first introduction. Tonight they would have to discuss this in their dorm room.

Eli and Jasmine
Spoiler:
In that moment, Eli snapped. He absolutely could not stand these demons any more, and he was determined to destroy them no matter what it took. He sat bolt upright, and his eyes glowed blinding light. The snake exploded into a million pieces as a pair of blindingly bright wings appeared from out of his back. Eli floated in the air in front of Leila, his face fixed with an angry, merciless stare, as if he were a father staring down at his child. Leila would be automatically drawn to look Eli in the eyes, and then the cleansing would begin. Eli spoke as if he himself were possessed; his voice was magnified several times so that it boomed through the room. It sounded as if it were the voices of thousands of angels speaking at once, and they spoke with a holy rage in their voices.
"REPENT, FOR THE JUDGEMENT IS AT HAND!" the voice boomed "LUCIFER, MAMMON, ASMODEUS, LEVIATHAN, BEEZLEBUB, AMON, BELPHEGOR, LEILA, YOU HAVE ALL DROWNED YOURSELF IN SIN, AND NOW YOU SHALL BE CAST INTO THE DARKNESS WHERE THERE WILL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH! IN THE NAME OF MICHAEL, GABRIEL, RAPHAEL, URIEL, REMIEL, RAGUEL, AND SARAQAEL, I PUNISH YOU!" At this point, Eli had no control, and he watched as every sin that Leila had ever committed flashed before his eyes and her's. She would be tormented with the memory of every sin she had ever committed, and she and the demons would burn together. Eli tried to stop it, but every time Remiel answered the same in his booming voice,
"NO, ELI! THE RECKONING HAS COME!" The voice bellowed in his ears "THEY HAVE HAD THEIR CHANCE TO REPENT AND NOW THE THUNDER OF THE LORD SHALL RAIN DOWN UPON THEM!"
"What ever happened to mercy?!" Eli thought back, his mind filled with righteous anger "What ever happened to love and faith and hope? What ever happened to forgiveness of sin and eternal life?! What every happened to Jesus!" But the voice ignored him and continued to take control of Eli's being. He was getting extremely concerned now; Leila had done a lot of bad things, and Remiel was having no mercy on her. Worst of all, he was completely powerless to stop it.
From across the room Jasmine heard the angelic voices echo. So Remiel was angry, and he was taking it out on Leila. Jasmine handed her coffee to Rush and, not checking to see if he grabbed it or not, pushed past Bre and walked over to where Eli-Remiel floated in midair, staring into Leila. Jasmine quickly closed her eyes and placed her fingers on her temples, trying to use her ESP to discover the penance stare's weak spot.
"Hello Remiel." Jasmine said calmly "Care to stop toasting my friend?"
"DO NOT VEX ME, MORTAL!" Remiel-Eli replied "I AM CONDUCTING THE DUTY OF GOD!"
"Bullshit." Jasmine balled her fist and punched Eli in the face as hard as she could. He closed his eyes and was sent sprawling across the floor as the excess energy from the penance stare coursed through him like a holy lightning rod. He would survive, but he'd be knocked out for several moments. She had broken Eli's nose, and a trickle of blood ran down his face. She wiped the blood off of her fist and walked back over to Leila.
"Leila, are you alright?" Jasmine asked, grabbing her shoulders.
(I'll post from the rest of the perspectives tomorrow. Getting really tired)

Drake Deltori Blackmore.
This is where Drake kicked it up a notch, while Val cracked a few jokes, which made Drake smile, but he was one to keep his attention on the opponent. Seeing how his two test attacks on Abe were blocked in one way or another. Abe had erected a large wall to block the stronger stream of plasma that Drake sent his way. Then the wall was sent directly at Drake. Which was underwhelming to say the least. He was hit with several attacks like this in the past, so while he could just take the attack to show off, this fight's far from over. He jumped right up into the air, his plasma-form gifted him with flight, and fired off a thick stream of plasma to propel him upwards. Leaving behind a trail of plasma in a beautiful display of power. The wall went right under his feet. A cocky grin formed on his face. During his descent; he dove straight for Abe. He spun in mid-air, and delivered a horizontal kick, creating a powerful wave of plasma right towards his chest. But he was far from done. Drake landed a few meters away from Abe, and on impact with the ground, he created a pillar of plasma that went directly up into the air. The pillar was so thick that it masked Drake's movements. Leaving Abe, and all on-lookers in the dark about his next move. Then, in the blink of an eye, Drake quickly shot out of the pillar like a rocket, shooting a stream of plasma behind him for propulsion again. He did a sort of flip-kick in mid-air, creating another wave of plasma that shot upwards in the shape of a crescent moon.
Ray Judah Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.
"... The f*ck?"
Were the only words that left Ray's mouth as he watched the scene with Leila and Eli. At this point, both Ray and Rush were standing up on their feet, watching. Rush with Jasmine's coffee in his hand. They had. Something about angels, god and other religious crap - Neither of them were holy, so it didn't matter to them. All that mattered was the choice to go over there and help or not. It seemed like Jasmine had the whole situation under control. Ray nor Rush were the types to stick themselves where they weren't needed. So there was no need to head over there. Anything happens, then they'll show up. Because, if they're going to work as a team; they need to eliminate any doubts and let everyone know that they're going to be a team. They need to have Jasmine's back when she needs it - And in turn, she'll have their backs.
Give us the word, Miss Cheng. We'll be right over there.

This wasn't exactly a question that Lily actually wanted to answer. Merely because she's felt like she's opened up enough right now. She wasn't in the mind of going back to all those dark memories she had, especially working with them. Ugh. The thought brought her great irritation. So she would have to find a way to answer this, without spilling too much information. "Look..." Lily started off, putting her right hand over her chest. "More often than I'd like, really. Sometimes circumstance just forced me into..." Lily stopped herself there. "... But let's not talk about that, it brings up bad memories." She tightened up. She looked around the room. So many people in here probably has bad memories with their powers. That gave her an idea of what to say next. Lily asked Jesse, "But let me ask you a question; if you ever had a chance, for whatever reason, to give up your power and live a normal life; would you take it? Even if you've done good with your power, or have gotten it under control?"

Jake coughed nonchalantly. He didn't like how the little kids were talking to him, but that was just him. He knew that it wouldn't go well for these two if they annoy him too much. He answered their question, giving them a little bit more exposition. "Jake Valos; a first year student here along with my little brother and sister." He nodded his head, then looked at Ene. Who apparently was Arianna's room mate, but Arianna forgotten who Ene even is. That meant that Arianna was a ditz or forgetful. It made him laugh a little bit, but then he quickly went back to a blank expression should they get offended. "So," Jake says, starting off. He was fishing for a subject here, one that wouldn't piss anyone off, or run dead again. He looked off to the side at the illusory fountain that he had created. It was still up and running. Keeping it up and running should be easy. Then it came to him, "I think I saw you two chatting with Jaska during that stupid warm up, right?"

Leila Gabrielle Septim
There was a kind of tension in the air as Eli gathered up power before using his stare, and Leila, both instinctively and with the advice of her demonic companions, realized this was very, very bad.
"Eli no-"
the locker room after the game with all kinds of adrenaline and estrogen and excitement running like electricity
shivering half-dead hands reaching up for alms and healthy pale ones batting them away
Leila's skull was on fire, liquid fire was eating through her eyes and into her skull, down into her chest, it was silencing the demons but Christ she couldn't think she couldn't breathe
somehow she knew just where to put her hands and just how hard to twist just how to do it how to make a neck snap like
having to watch everyone else walk by like Job staring at his old friends and wondering why the f*ck was it me
Leila staggered away from Eli, unable to focus clearly on the training room around her due to the vivid hallucinations making her eyes and ears think they were someplace else. And Christ, she couldn't smell anything but sulfur and her whole body was cold and clammy and like she was going into shock and
there was a building burning sending up smoke and screams and Leila just sat down on the cool grass and watched with a lazy smile
and then there were the lies that came so naturally and so easy now and meticulous because humans forgot details but demons did not
and thinking she could actually stand up to them she could actually
Leila couldn't look away, felt something painfully hot creeping up her spine and arms-and sensitivity to heat wasn't something she was used to. Leila struggled not to scream, not to draw any more attention to herself, and let out a silent prayer to the demons and God and whoever was listening when Jasmine knocked Eli's arrogant ass out. Leila closed her eyes, feeling, dissonance. She was in the training room waiting to be called back. She was in the bathrooms alone, shivering and pressing bloodied toilet paper to her wrists. She was in the snow, alone and confused. She was back in the training rooms and wondering if she'd just experienced the metahuman equivalent of rape.
Someone's hands were on her. Leila reacted the same way every dog who's been kicked around for years acts when they see someone step towards them.
Her skin, already sore from the third degree burns of Eli's stare, began to burn feverishly hot, painful to touch even through her clothes. She didn't open her eyes, not entirely sure what she would see if she did, but she knew she didn't need to see, she could call to them and they would guide her with sight or without. "Get the f*ck off of me." Leila hissed, not wanting Eli to ever lay his hands (but it couldn't be him he was knocked out) on her again. No. She'd told him to keep it private and he had gone and done this. Very faint lines, impossible to see under Leila's long sleeves and scarf, began tracing their way down her arms, up her neck.
She felt very, very guilty, and very, very confused, and such conditions do not for a stable girl make.
Arianna Madrigal
"Oh, sure! I'd love to!" Arianna said gleefully, glad to have an audience. She loved performing, but didn't want to be that person who did it unprompted to show off. "Glad you don't think it's lame. Somewhere like this, everybody seems to know what they're doing more than me, haha. I was worried I'd be behind." Arianna watched the fountain, her face clearly reflecting her awe. "Very cool!" She thought it sounded just a little off, like the illusion was telling her ears music but the Symphony was unaware of its presence, but it was still crazy impressive. Had she not been focused on her own power, she'd have been completely duped. He seemed a bit upset when he spoke next, his song adjusting slightly to match. "Oh, don't worry, you don't strike me as the type. Besides, it seems like whoever made all the, "she waved her hands at the turrets, "thingies shoot at Mr. Adam has enough of a monopoly on pranks already."
When Arianna realized her mistake, she buried her face in her hands, blushing intensely. "Oh my God, I feel like such a b*tch! I totally should've realized that was you, I feel so bad! Don't be sorry, I'm the stupid one. Oh God." That probably didn't make the best impression on Jake, and she could probably count on a bit of awkwardness with the twins and Ene, too. Why didn't she use Evelyn? That sounded so much prettier to Arianna. Oh what if she can read minds. That would be bad. I really do think Evelyn's a pretty name, though!
Arianna listened, feeling a bit awkward, but thankfully Jake maneuvered the conversation back into safe territory. The "sound" of their conversation, like its cosmic heartbeat, was interesting, and it didn't seem like things had fallen entirely out of sync. No, she didn't think she had really offended Ene, which was good. A minor slip-up. Hopefully they could still be good friends, she'd hate to, well, hate the person she'd be sharing a dorm with for the next few months. She brushed her hair back behind her ears, listening to the conversation. Jaska? Must be Jake's brother. Strange name. Lot of that going around. "Jaska, is that your brother?" she asked quietly, not wanting to make even more of a fool of herself.
Valery Arsov
"Serious, you kids take it easy. If you kill yourselves, I am not cleaning up mess. I already had to do that with last roommate."
Val continued watching the fight, but he was slightly alarmed but how things were escalating a bit. They were both proud-as was Val-but he didn't want them seriously trying to kill each other. There didn't seem to be anything malicious, but neither of them really seemed like they wanted to back down, either. Friendly sparring was one thing, but the Academy also had its fair share of accidents. Most of them started off like this. Val watched, readying himself to intervene if it looked like someone was about to get seriously hurt. With enough effort, he could cover the floor they were on with black ice in a couple of seconds, and if they fell and busted their asses, it would hopefully give them a second or two to cool down.

Ene, Jaylin, and Kynan -
Ene quickly shook her was when she realized Arianna was feeling quilty for not knowing who she was. "It's more my fault," Ene smiled. She was glad when jake changed the conversation- the situation was getting awkward, as her presence seemed to bring anywhere she went. She decided to let Jake reply to the question, himself.
Jaylin and Kynan displayed matching smiles. "Yeah! Dude, he had some mad fighting skills!" He performed a karate kick (though he hadn't seen Jaska perform such an action) and swung his foot at Kynan. If one didn't know any better, they would probably expect to see Kynan either fall back or hunch over from the kick in the gut. Â Instead, he remained static. Jaylin's foot went right into Kynan's stomach, merging with him for a split second before unmerging, Jaylin's foot coming out of Kynan's stomach and returning back beside him.
Ene didn't know the two's ability, however, and when she saw Jaylin swing a kick at Kynan, she yelped. "Wait no-don't-" oh. She felt her face heat up in embarrassment as Kynan remained unharmed. Â "Um... Nice power."
"Thankya!" Kynan an Jaylin said in unison before laughing.
- Bre an Len -
When Eli's voice was heard, the two turned to face him in shock. Â They had absolutely no idea what was going on- Bre didn't even notice Jasmine shove past her. And then everything stopped and the two snapped out of their shock, suddenly jumping in to try to help, both wondering primarily if the girl was okay.
Len and Bre approached just as the girl told Jasmine to leave her alone. Bre thought, from the words, that the girl was violent- and she may just have been right. She slowly reached up to her sunglasses, only to be stopped when Len's hand grabbed her own. She looked at him in confusion.
"She's freaked out. It'll make it worse."
Len stepped towards the girl, seeing the burns on her. She was just terrified, right? After all, some kid just attacked her. He took another step forward, standing beside the Jasmine girl. Â "Please calm down," he said slowly, "I can help." He would wait for her reaction. Then he would try to reach forward and block her pain... And block his own, as now he could feel heat radiating from the girl- touching her would be painful.

This didn't have the effect on Jake that Arianna had anticipated. He was only laughing a little louder than before. Though, he silenced himself again, out of fear that he'd piss someone off. He found all of this really funny. Just because Arianna sounded like such a ditz. Cute too. He would certainly like that young. "Don't worry, we all forget things." Jake says, trying to reassure Arianna. With a smile. Though, cursing in front of little kids didn't win Arianna too many points in Jake's eyes.
Shade wrote:

"Yeah... He's the kid with the wings overrrr....." Jake answered Arianna's question,. He started looking around to go find them, but he just couldn't. There were too many people here, and way too much action to pick them out. He guessed that they were out of the way, relaxing somewhere. Good. He didn't want them to cause any trouble, especially when he wasn't close to defuse things. Then he focused back on the little group that he had formed. "I'm here with my twin sister, Gabe, too. I don't really need training or anything, I'm already a master at my gift, but they kinda do need the training." Mostly Jaska needed training (I'm still healing from the last time he went on a rampage). Gabe just needed a bit of anger management and self control.
Celo wrote:

"... I wouldn't call it that." Jake says to the twins, looking away briefly. Before re-centering his gaze back on the twins. He knew that heightened reflexes and agility came with Jaska's power-set. He looked away again, before snapping his gaze back on them. He didn't want to seem disinterested - Which he really was, he's far from interested in seeing two thirteenth year olds preform faux karate tricks. But that wasn't something he'd like to say out loud, because he'd look like a d*ck. Especially when he wants to make a positive impression. "Huh?" Jake stated, confused. His attention turned back on the pair when Jaylin kicked Kynan and his foot went into his brother. His face distorted into a face of confusion, as he tried to piece together what happened in his head. Jake almost thought it was Arianna, since he didn't know the exact details of her ability is, but she wasn't talking. "What did you two just do...?" Jake asked, trying to sound curious where he was really confused.
Leon Maddox Vahan, & Sage Lucas Pimm.
((Here on in, I'm changing the pronouns I use to refer to Sage, now I'm using the singular they/their/them. Because it's correct English, apparently.))
After the assessment of Sage, the teacher and the student re-entered the training room with everyone else. But on entry, both of them knew something was up, they felt it. There was a visible disruption in the room. With one use of the Eye of Providence; Leon saw a group of students, and two visibly injured students. That meant that an accident happened, he didn't know the details, but now wasn't the time to ask about them. They needed to get to the hospital soon as possible. Leon quickly broke off into a sprint, running fast as he could. His steps were fast and frantic. He was followed by Sage. Sage's steps were a sort of glide across the ground. With every step they pushed off the ground a bit further and further.
The moment they approached, Leon eyeballed Len trying to help. He's seen this before. A noble student trying to help, only to make things worse. If Leila goes out of control; then Len will be right in the blast of it. The last thing Leon wanted was watching (another) student die with the best of intentions in mind. "Don't touch her! Get back!" Leon says, as he grabbed Len by the shoulder and pulled him away from Leila with all of his strength. "Don't do that, again. You could have been killed, kid." Leon tells Len, who was new and didn't quite understand what goes on in the school. Leon pulled a phone out of his pocket, and quickly dialed a number. He called the medical team. Fortunately, they are on standby during training in case anything like this happen, and it always does. Leon spoke into the phone, "Yeah, we got an accident in room twelve. Yeah? A boy and a girl, they're both badly burned. Alright."
In less than a few moments, a team of a dozen school paramedics rushed into the training room with two stretchers. Leon raised his hand in the air and waved to them to let them know where the injured students were. They quickly rushed over to Eli and Leila. All of them were chattering constantly, asking questions about what happened and etc, the whole time they were working.
On Sage's end, they felt a very strange presence coming from both Leila and Eli. From Leila, they felt something out-worldly... Incredibly evil and demonic. And from Eli, they felt a peaceful, heavenly presence. Both was very odd. It was certainly curious, to say the least. The young angel stood over a demon and a prophet. But what happened? They really hoped that they didn't do battle because of their... Natural rivalry. Sage was tempted to ask, but now wasn't the time. They would discuss it with Eli later, if he gets better. All Sage could do was watch when the medical team carted both Leila and Eli away.

Jasmine
Just as her skin heated up, Jasmine let go of Leila's shoulders. Flash precognition helped greatly with things like this. Luckily Bre and Len quickly jumped up to help. Jasmine was glad that they were so eager, and the help was greatly appreciated. Leila was obviously badly injured, and she had done quite a number on Eli, er, Remiel, to get him to stop toasting her. Jasmine now fully understood Leila's abilities, and empathized with her. Back when she was little, Jasmine was the only kid in her neighborhood with supernatural gifts, and because of that, she was called a nerd and a freak. Kids called her all sorts of names, and so she shut herself out and failed third grade just to get them all to shut up. Nowadays taunting had no effect on Jasmine, but it was bad back then. She knew what Leila was going through more than she wanted to.
"Leila, he couldn't control it." Jasmine said, trying to calm her down "I think he's possessed. Something called Remiel; I don't fully understand it." Jasmine realized that she wasn't helping, and looked over her shoulder at Eli. He was still unconscious, and blood gushed from his nose, covering his face in crimson slime. She couldn't help but feel a little prideful; she had punched what she believed to be some sort of angelic being in the nose and knocked it out. She noticed that Rush and Ray were standing by, and called out to them.
"Hey! We need a doctor-." Jasmine was cut off as Leon arrived with a team of paramedics who put Leon onto a stretcher and moved to grab Leila. She turned to Leon, looking down and thinking to herself about where she had heard the name "Remiel" before.
"Remiel." she said out loud, obviously addressing Leon "He called himself Remiel when he attacked her. What is that name from...?" Jasmine did not know, and she hated not knowing.
Titus
"You're making this much too easy." Titus said, grabbing the granite block by the sides. He lifted it with ease and held the massive chunk of rock high over his head. He held it there for a few moments and then took a step back. He launched the granite block at the wall and where it shattered into several large pieces. The wall was now badly dented, and Titus brushed the dust off of his hands. There must be a harder challenge than this he thought, stepping back and turning towards Adam.
"Alright." he said "What's next?"
Rose
Rose blushed when Merry mentioned her power. It was a very sore subject for Rose to talk about, as her power terrified her. It was a useless ability with only the power to destroy, something that Rose did not enjoy. She envied mutants like that boy who made the purple weapons who could create useful things with their powers, whereas all Rose could do is dissolve and oxidize things. She sighed, and was about to answer the question when she heard Eli roaring from across the room. Rose watched as Eli burned Leila and was subsequently knocked out cold by Jasmine. She immediately rose and moved as fast as she could to Eli's side. His nose was obviously broken, and his face was covered in blood. His eyes seemed to be moving furtively under closed lids as if he were running through a maze in his mind. Rose was going to touch him and try to wake him up, but she was terrified of hurting him and so kept her hands to herself.
"Um, are you okay?" Rose asked. Before she could receive and answer, Eli was picked up by a stretcher and carted off. Rose stood watching as he was carried away, wondering what had happened. He didn't seem like a very violent guy, but yet he almost killed Leila.
Eli
Eli most definitely was not okay. He found himself laying in a green field, the sun on his face and a cool warm breeze blowing through his blonde hair. He slowly propped himself up on his left elbow, and stood up in the field. He was naked, but he felt no shame. All around him beautiful bushes and fruit-bearing trees blossomed. Animals of all shapes and sized lounged in the tree branches or slept under the warm sun. Nearby, Eli could hear water trickling, like a small river. He knew this place; it was Eden, a sort of consciousness reset place where he went whenever he was knocked out or in a lucid dream. He couldn't remember it when he woke up in the real world, but while he was there it was quite nice.
Though something was off this time. The sky seemed cloudy to the west, and he heard the roaring boom of thunder. The ground shook as lightning struck a nearby tree, setting it ablaze. The tree was quickly consumed by the fire and collapsed in mere seconds. From the ashes rose an angelic being, though it was no angel. This being was just as beautiful and perfect, but its wings were black as pitch and its skin pale as a sheet. Eli immediately realized that it was Remiel, the Thunder of God. The animals ran as the angel extended its wicked black wings and trekked across the grassland, the grasses burning as he walked. The wind whipped up a miniature cyclone around him, blowing Eli off his feet.
"FOOLISH CHILD OF MAN!" Remiel hissed, standing over Eli and causing the grasses around him to burn "HOW DARE YOU PREVENT ME FROM EXERCISING THE HOLY WRATH OF HE WHO IS!"
"You have no power here, demon!" Eli responded, rising from the ground "How dare you appear in this place!"
"I AM AN ARCHANGEL OF THE LORD GOD! HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO ME!"
"Any man, angel or human, who almost murders an innocent woman does not deserve that title!" Eli retorted, spitting at Remiel "And you defiled your powers anyways! You were cast into Hell with the rest of your Satanic lot millennia ago!" Thunder boomed in the background and Remiel sent Eli flying across the now-burning field with a gargantuan gust of wind. Eli crashed to the ground on his right shoulder, but felt no pain as he rolled to his feet. He walked back up to Remiel and was pushed down a second time, flying twice as far. Eli rose from the charred ground, unharmed, and approached Remiel a third time. The fallen angel moved to destroy Eli with a blast of lightning when it was suddenly struck by a beam of light from above. The clouds parted and from the sky swept a magnificent angel with shining white wings and long blonde hair that whipped in the blowing wind. He descended between Eli and Remiel, and drew his sword.
"Raguel!" Remiel cried out, jumping backwards.
"You have transgressed once more, evil one." Raguel said calmly. His voice was low but firm and commanding of authority. Every animal turned their heads towards Raguel as he spoke, and all of them listened.
"But Lorg Raguel," Remiel stuttered, his eyes filling with fear "I was only exercising the will of the Lord! That daughter of man was filled to the brim with terrible demons!"
"That does not give you the right to burn one of God's champions and harm an innocent woman! Once more I banish you to Hell!" Raguel drew a silver blade from his scabbard and sliced Remiel clean in two. The fallen angel cried out and exploded in light as it descended into Hell. Once Remiel had vanished, Raguel turned to Eli. Eli bowed down and kissed Raguel's feet, unworthy to look into the eyes of an Archangel.
"Rise, prophet!" Raguel commanded Eli. Eli rose and stood resolutely, not looking in Raguel's eyes for fear of having his burned out. "Remiel used you as a weapon against his brethren, and for that he shall be punished, but you have begun to transgress as well. Your pride is swelling with your ability to silence Leila's demons, and you have begun to be tempted by the vice of lust for this possessed woman. These have led you to this sin. Because you have done this and because of the blessings given to you, I am appointing to you one of my servants. Ariella, descend!" From out of the skies descended a beautiful cherub. She was in the form of a teenaged girl, maybe sixteen or seventeen years of age. She had a long beautiful auburn braid resting across her right shoulder, and her emerald green eyes shone like lights in the darkness. She was perfect in form and appearance, and was absolutely beautiful to Eli.
"This is Ariella, a good soldier of mine." Raguel instructed Eli "She will follow you back into the corporeal world when you return and shall protect you from sin."
"Thank you, Lord Raguel," Eli replied, bowing "I shall try my hardest to please you." With that, Raguel vanished and Ariella and Eli were left standing there side by side. When Eli awoke, she would follow him as a phantom.

Jaylin, Kynan, and Ene - When Jake asked the twins what they had done, they looked at each other.
I find it funny that he wasn't interested until now, Jaylin.
Yeah. He looks so confused- its hilarious!
Think we should confuse him more?
Yeah!
Jaylin grinned at Jake. "We just did this..." He walked into Kynan, a chill passing over him for just a moment as all their cells merged. Kynan began laughing, as he could now read thoughts. Â
"Stop trying to act curious when you're confused!" He laughed before turning to Ene. "And have I told you that think Ene is a cool name? What's it from?" The first sentence was made after he read some of Arianna's thoughts.
Ene was just staring in shock. "It's from... Um..." She was hesitant to answer, but did, still. "When I was younger and still learning to speak, I would try to say my name, but when I said the ending part I always said something that sounded like 'Ene' instead of 'en.' Mom thought it was cute, so she called me that." Ene hid a wave of sadness that passed over her with a smile. "It just kind of stuck." Why do I still feel guilty and sad? she died months ago. I need to get over it.
Kynan- and Jaylin, if his face were visible- frowned.
You can tell something's up- right, Jay?
I heard her thoughts loud n' clear.
Her mom's dead. Remember when dad died?
Barely. We were so young- we didn't understand it much.
Yeah. We should try an cheer her up later. Just not let her know we read her mind.
Kynan's smile returned, "That's a nice story. Your name sounds like something you would hear on a video game- lightning dancer Ene!"
Ene laughed a bit, unsure of where the name title came from. Actually, it mostly surprised her. She enjoyed video games, a bit... Maybe she would use that as a screen name sometime.
- Len and Bre -
Len scowled as he was pulled back by Leon. "Can't you tell she's freaked out? Calling the paramedics only makes it worse."
Bre quickly intervened, here, and place a hand on Len's shoulder. "Calm down, mister chivalry," she said sarcastically before turning to Leon. "So how's it been?" She smiled nervously.
Len heard Jasmine off to the side asking about who Remiel was. He replied to this. "An angel of some sorts, I think." He paused, "I had a religions class at my old school. Â And some at church."

Abraham Gene
Now this was exciting! This was the kind of vigor and flash he was expecting from Drake. He was too distracted by the display to notice the bright commotion off to the side with eli and Leila. After all, he had to defend himself!
He disregarded Valery's warning; Abe was sure that the guy meant well, but his first concern was wondering how far he could push Drake. If the first attack were any indicator, the plasma was hot - really hot - he could tell that much. Fortunately, heat only bothered Abe so much. Unless someone had the capability to melt down stone and rocks, they'd be hard pressed to slow him down. That's part of what he wanted to know: how hot could Drake get?
Abraham dodged the first strike in a dive roll and found him facing Drake a few meters away, but his friend was swallowed in a fiery pillar of plasma. He scuffled his brows in a moment of suspicion. He couldn't track Drake in that mess, but from the looks of it, he was planning something big. He could create the dome... but he wanted to save that for future fights. Another technique would be suitable though: a first stage golem form. It would be efficient enough for tanking the inevitable blast and it would be fancy enough to show for the audience (plus given his arms, it wasn't something they wouldn't have expected anyway). So he dug his rocky hands into the concrete floor and rock slowly crawled up every inch of his body until his entire form consisted of stone, and not a second too soon either. Drake released a surprise attack from inside his burning pillar, prompting him to try something unique. His hands and feet melded into the ground, rooting him in place, allowing him to brace for the impact. The crescent wave had struck across his body as expected.
It had taken a few moments for the smoke and dust to clear, but when it had, Abe was shown to be in the same place as he was before. He stood himself up, his stature considerably more pronounce than before (though that may be because his features are more highlighted in a full stone form), dust falling from his hands as he pried them loose from the ground. Well damn, Drake could get hot! Not enough to melt him down to slag obviously, but he could tell that it'd be enough to ruin plenty of people's day. Abe was laughing softly to himself as he thought of the next best course of action. Despite his eagerness, he felt that the fight wasn't fast paced enough if he was left to think about his next moves and not act on impulse. Perhaps he could remedy that?
Taking off in as fast a sprint as he could forward (which was much notably slower than normal given how he was, at present, completely made of rock), shaking the ground around him as he ran. Abe leaped into the air before bringing his fist back and brought it down onto the ground, causing it to crack and then launching a large pillar from the ground straight towards Drake. The pillar itself was large and jagged and pointed, and coming from behind Drake. While it wouldn't impale him, the amount of force in such an isolated space (about the size of Drake's whole back) would knock the air out of him - discounting the shock factor from an unexpected attack from behind. But Abe wasn't finished and was determined to follow up on that move, intending to overwhelm his teammate in a barrage of attacks.
He jumped up once more and another pillar erupted from the ground beneath him with a flattened tip. Landing on that, his course was aimed for Drake. If he manages to foresee and dodge the first pillar, the sudden stop of the one he was riding on would leave him with enough inertia to be sent into the air and make a tackle where he would hopefully grab a hold of him and keep him secure in his grip all the way down to the hard floor. If he dodged the both of them, then the first pillar should be in the right position to grab, swing around, and make another attempt at snagging Drake. If his friend was hit by the pillar... well... whatever. Hopefully he'd be fine. This was too good a finishing move to pass up! He had a reputation to build! Here's to hoping Val doesn't intervene - if he could.

Jesse Sutor
Jesse nodded respectfully and muttered "of course" before moving on to the next part of the conversation. He had expected as much. They hadn't known each other nearly long enough for such a tale to be told, and from the sounds of it at first, her story was a little traumatic. Understandable... sort of. He fortunately didn't really have his own similar stories to share and so he knew he couldn't quite grasp whatever her experience was truly like. Except for this one time when a bunch of big kids chased him and his brother down when they were little and beat his brother up, but there were no powers involved then. He felt a little guilty of not being able to help him out, but bygones were bygones. That was ages ago... and now was much, much different.
When Lily cracked the question, it caused him to think very carefully. He thought about this earlier, and each side had their ups and downs. He could finally be rid of his ghosts forever, sever his connection with them, and live in peace once more. Live the normal life that was finally starting to develop back home. But here... it was far from different. It was change. Lots and lots of change. Horrible change, change that would require so huge a learning curve it would probably cause a serious influence on his life for the rest of his days. What he would give - what would he kill - to be normal again. But he also had something special here: opportunity. Jesse sighed. It was time for him to open up again.
"I... I don't know. I really don't know. It's really confusing for me to think about and I'm just not sure, y'know, what to do about it if I were given a choice. I'd love to be normal again, but..." Jesse's voice trailed off as he took a moment to think about what to say next. "...this - this academy - is one of the first chances I've gotten at meeting new people and making friends in an entire year. So, maybe. I'm not sure... but... I don't know when's the next time I'll be able to, well, have friends."
This was followed by silence on Jesse's part, thinking about what he said and how he felt about it. Talking about it helped him realize how lonely he actually was for the longest time, but at the same time, suddenly felt really bad about rambling on about his feelings in front of Lily. What made him think she'd care? Gosh, he probably just bored her to death and would be better off not talking and leaving everybody alone and-- Jesse took a deep breathe to relax his nerves. Whatever happens happens. There's no stopping it.

Now this was certainly the predicament. Leon didn't understand a thing of what was going on, if it was an attack, or something else. That was the question. He could easily find out by looking into Eli. Just by focusing for a moment, he saw into both Eli and Leila as they were being carted away. He saw into them, seeing what they see, and seeing what they know. It certainly gave him insight on what happened without even being here. Leila, was possessed by demons, or something like that, and Eli, who attempted to purify them, ended up getting possessed himself by a holy entity himself. Leon stopped seeing into them, and let out a "Hm" sound as he put a hand on his chin. He wasn't exactly an expert when it came to demons and angel. But he certainly knew someone who did, he turned his head to Sage.
Fortunately, due to it's own power and Christian beliefs, Sage knew a bit about this. They got a little closer to the group. While they were a little shy, afraid to be in the spotlight, they were willing to share information, "Ramiel is one of the many angels of God that has been cast out of the heavens... I don't know why Eli would call himself that... Nor why he would attack that girl like that..." Mid sentence, Sage looked away from the group and turned to Eli getting carted away, giving him a worried look. They were starting to have doubts about Eli - The kind of doubts that said 'Maybe I was wrong about you.' They didn't forget about the strange presences they felt when they were near the two. Maybe there's more to this than Sage knows. They would certainly try to get to the bottom of this. "... I pray that both of them had the best intentions."
Answering Sage's confusion about why Eli would do that, Leon pushed his sunglasses up his nose, "... There's much more to this than you think." He wasn't going to tell anyone here what really happened. That was for the discussion after both Leila and Eli get patched.

"Look kid," Leon starts off, "Things like this happens all the time." Leon was a bit annoyed by the kid calling him out. Like he didn't know what he was doing - Even though he's been an instructor here for years and this is the norm. Though Leon wasn't too pleased with Len trying to take matters into his own hands. "Your hands were almost fried by her. If she spazzed out; you would have been the first to be killed." Leon gave Len a stern  look before continuing, "It's best to go get help next time this happens, okay?"
While Sage didn't want to take sides here; Leon had a point. "I know you had the best intentions, but this happens all the time, and more people have gotten hurt trying to help." Sage nodded their head and put their hands together, leveled them with their waist. Awaiting a response.
Jake, Gabriela, & Jaska Valos.
After Sage had left, the two remaining Valos got bored. With Gabe joining Jaska in his boredom. They were both sitting on the cold concrete ground, faces blank, and legs folded. "I'm bored." Gabe says, as she got a bit agitated. She looked around, to see no one to talk to. She wondered where Sage was, or where Jake was. His assessment couldn't have taken so long. On the other hand, Jaska had way better vision than Gabe, advantages of both having a power, and two eyes. He was easily able to spot both Sage and Jake. But his attention was on Jake since he didn't want to sit through another boring session of watching Gabe and the girly-boy talk.
"Hey! I see Jake." Jaska says, enthusiastically.
"Finally, I was ready to throw myself off a building..." Gabe says, her temper seeping into her words. Then she got up off the ground and grabbed Jaska by the arm, helping him stand up with her. She let go of him, and walked over to Jake and the rest of the group.

It definitely was a strange power. From what Jake could tell, they can merge together, without seemingly gaining more mass. Then his face turned to one of minor shock as Jaylin/Kynan gave away what he really felt. It really made him wonder what they were really capable of. He tried to mask it when he spoke, "Heh, how'd you know?" Jake asks. Then he watched Ene as she explained her name. He picked up on her body language and manner of speech and easily deduced that she didn't like talking about her name. Which he'd make sure not to ask her about later. However, Jake was caught off guard when someone patted his shoulder. He quickly darted his head over to her.
"Heeeeey, Jake!" Gabe says with a sarcastic smile, as she slapped her twin brother's shoulder and grabbed on to it. "Who are ya' friends here?" She asked.
Jaska wasn't too far away when he made his approach. He folded his wings, and his ears twitched slightly. His tail was still wrapped around his waist. "Oh, hiiii." Jaska says, greeting everyone here. He then took two deep breathes in.

"I understand how you feel. You'd be thrown out of here and be alone." Lily says to Jesse. She fully understood Jesse's predicament and could relate to it. If she gave up her own power... Well, she'd be worse off than keeping them. Because she's long cut ties to her family, and wondered if they still even remember them. She'd have literally no where to go, she should use this school much as she could. But then she thought that there would be little chance of an offer popping up. Though... If Lily has the ability to give people powers, then there was a high possibility of people having the same option. "I would like to be normal... But, it's really too late for me to go back to a normal life. I'd rather stay here and finally explore my powers." Lily had already lived a good eight years with her power, and she's accepted that she's been given them. And there'd be no one else she'd let have them.
Drake Deltori Blackmore.
Looks like you're setting up the grand finale. HA!
Drake thinks to himself as he saw everything coming at him. Too easy. He was the type to never let an opponent finish the fight - Nah, he has his own grand finale in mind. Drake had heard the first pillar being created behind him - Since such a construct wouldn't be made completely silently. He reacted using instinct. Not thought. Not emotion. He flew off to the side like a rocket, a jet of plasma was fired behind him to give him the boost he needed to get away. He was ready to launch his next attack, when Abe came at him riding a stone pillar. A cocky grin crept up on Drake's face as he thought, Now you f*cked up. It took two seconds of planning for him to figure out what to do next. He jumped straight up into the air, again, using his plasma to give him the propulsion he needed to fly. He was leveled with Abe, so he wasted no time in blasting his sparring partner with a small beam of plasma.

Leila Gabrielle Septim
The effects of Eli's penance stare were still jarring her-and given Leila's already precarious mental state, it didn't take much to upset her psyche. Eli had thrown one hell of a spiritual suckerpunch at her.
"Please calm down. I can help."
The words were coming out of Len's mouth but at the same time they were the same words coming out of her therapist's mouth and they were both happening at the same. A migraine, the side effects of cognitive dissonance at this level, brought Leila down to her knees, adding to the pain from the burns. Trying to keep straight the memories that seemed so real, she remembered this was all in her head and promptly forgot it again every few seconds, the cycle continued by how f*cking vivid this memories were-What the hell have you done to me?
"No. No get back," Leila said, hissing at the therapist, because she knew what came after this, but couldn't figure out why she was having therapy in the Academy and why did her arms hurt so bad and-
There were paramedics. Leila stared confusedly at them, wondering how they'd gotten into her bedroom, and why none of them were bandaging the deep gouges up and down her arms, why no one was taking the knife out of her hands that was pressed up against the inside of her thigh-
A suggestion, Miss Leila?
Yes. Anything. I'll do anything.
Why don't you just close your eyes, and let this matter resolve itself?
Sloth had the best ideas out of them all, Leila thought. A sudden drowsiness came over her, and Leila slumped over. Her vital signs were steady, but her heart rate began to drop down to the rate you'd expect from someone hibernating, and Leila slipped off into dreamless sleep as Sloth began easing back her brain activity. The pain from the burns promptly vanished as the distracting parts of her mind that handled such things were turned off, one by one.
And then Leila slept, not really knowing or caring where the paramedics were taking her. The sigils on her skin, beneath her suit, changed once again, but these were far more subtle. Her hands shifted to the ancient symbols of Belphegor, but these were subtle. They weren't burning like Wrath's or alluring like Lust's. These you'd barely notice, perhaps thinking them the natural creases in her hands, unless you happened to look closely-and know what you were looking for.
Arianna Madrigal
Jake's laughter was a good sign-at least nobody thought she'd been seriously trying to be mean or something. "Oh, thanks. I'd chalk it up to first day nerves but, yeah, I do this kinda stuff all the time." Arianna bit her lip for a second, thinking of what else to say, until the conversation miraculously changed for her. Yay. "Isn't their thing so cool, though?" Arianna said, glad to be segueing into another topic of conversation. "I never had any brothers or sisters, so I'm kinda jealous. You guys always get to be around each other!" Arianna hoped she wasn't being insensitive or saying something stupid right on the heels of that earlier dumb comment-after all, she was being genuine. Being a single child was cool in some ways-like, Christmas, but also kinda bad in others-like the loneliness.
Then Jake, who had seemed pretty confident and nonplussed thus far, had a bit of a hiccup. Arianna had to suppress a grin-she wasn't really laughing at him, given that she was in totally over her head at the Academy too, but it was interesting to see the same confusion she felt unfold with someone else. "They can merge together. And they're telepathic with each other, I think. I ran into them and Amimoore in the lounge last night and they were all having some crazy telepathic conversation. Then, the conversation's song changed a bit, in the direction of Ene. Her song took a bit of a dip, shifting into minors and playing more like a requiem than the upbeat song the rest of them had. There was something tragic about her name, maybe? She couldn't quite figure it out. Maybe she'd ask her roommate about it later-best not to delve into it for now-she just gave Ene a reassuring smile and tried to keep the conversation going. "Oh, you play video games? You should teach me sometime. I tried to play once and I'm absolutely horrible at it. Well, except for Rockband. I was, uh, a little better at that."
Footsteps and heartbeats, someone else's-two someone else's-joined the symphony. Arianna turned around, spotting an eyepatched girl and a slightly younger guy with a tail and wings. Hm. Was this a separate eypatched girl, or were there now three running around the school? It made Arianna slightly afraid-they, uh, all had eyepatches BEFORE they got here, right? "Oh, this is your brother Jaska, right, Jake?" Arianna asked, sticking out her hand for Jaska to shake. "I'm Arianna Madrigal. Nice to meet the two of you." she said, hoping to make a good first impression on these two-but the eyepatched girl was looking a little cranky. She might just have to settle for not making too bad an impression.

Jaylin, Kynan, and Ene -
Kynan grinned at Arianna, who answered Jake's question for him. "Bingo," he smiled. It was then the two unmerged, Jaylin stepping out of Kynan's body to speak up.
"We also have a telepathic link and when we're merged we can unmerge and body part at anytime. Like..." He merged his hand with Kynan's chest. It then appeared coming out of the back of his head before Jaylin unmerged again. "It's pretty fun at times."
Ene's eyes widened. The twins were telepathic? Did they read her mind? What if they knew her power? They didn't seem like the type to freak out about it but still she was worried after Jake's reaction last night- along with Jaska's, as he had wanted her to use her power. The only thing she would use it with is maybe- MAYBE- to read memories. Could they read er mind right now? Not change them, though. Oh no. Nonononono. It was then Gabe and Jaska arrived, which gave her mind a temporary distraction.
"Hey Jaska!" Jaylin grinned, walking up to him. "What's up?"
- Len and Bre -
Len looked at Leon, feeling his anger rise. Who cares if it happened a lot? He didn't even care that he could've gotten hurt- what mattered was that there was a freaked out girl hurt and if he had spent the time to leave her then who knows what would have happened. He opened his mouth to say something, then shut it as some gender-confusing person spoke up. Len sighed in annoyance. He was just wasting his time arguing with these people.
"You know what? Never mind." He turned around and began walking off- it was one of the few times his face didn't show a bored expression. Instead it showed obvious annoyance and anger. As he walked off, Bre sighed.
"He's the same as he was a few years back." She turned towards Sage and Leon. "I'm sorry about Len- he gets annoyed easily and I guess it makes him easily angered, too. Anywho, thanks for being there to help." She was quiet a moment before changing the subject. "On another note, is the whole examining and such for training almost over yet? These suits are weird."

Alright, almost immediately Gabe was getting a bit agitated. The Arianna chick decides to shake Jaska's hand instead of Gabe's, who was older and much more tempered. Of course, he's way too cute for you to possibly ignore. Now that she thought about it; Jaska was less intimidating than Gabe, in terms of demeanor and personality. Then there were the two annoying kids from last night. Normally she would have paid them no mind, but she definitely heard 'telepathy' during her approach. She gave them a narrow glare. The last thing she wanted was two annoying brats digging into her head and pulling out all her secrets. "I am Gabe." Gabe says, trying to sound nonchalant in order to hide her growing irritation. She wasn't even in the mood to try and flirt with Arianna.
Giving a more welcome and enthusiastic response, Jaska smiles, revealing some of his shark-like teeth in the process. "Oh, hiiii pretty lady! I'm Jaska." He says, full of energy. His handshake had much less energy put into it. He carefully grabbed Arianna's hand, trying his best not to cut her with his claws. He's managed to grab onto her hand, and shake it. He carefully released his grip and looked up at her.
"Yeah, he's my brother." Jake answers Arianna's question. On the other hand, Jake felt a lot less comfortable around the twins now that they've revealed their true power. It was the same reason why he was still hesitant around Ene; he doesn't want his mind or his secrets to get messed with. Especially by little irresponsible kids - Who have already dug into his head for silly reasons. He didn't know why Arianna was so casual about this either. Maybe she isn't so concerned... Jake is now looking for a reason to leave before things got really bad. He tried to keep the conversation with Arianna going, though, "So, Arianna, what kind of music do you like?"
Oh brother. Gabe thought to herself in response. Now on top of the telepathic twins over here, Jake was trying to get with Arianna. Gabe could just feel it. She would be knitting all the way to hell right now if this suit had her ball of yarn somewhere. Gabe had her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes looked to the right. She spoke, there were hints of sarcasm in her voice, "So, how do all of ya' love our glorious academy so far...?"

"He's the same as he was a few years back." She turned towards Sage and Leon. "I'm sorry about Len- he gets annoyed easily and I guess it makes him easily angered, too. Anywho, thanks for being there to help."
Leon kept his gaze purely on Len for a moment or two, until he spoke saying how pointless and left. Leon had been looking into him the whole time, to see his intentions. Len believed that his actions were truly for the best. Which wasn't. Leon shook his head and prayed that Len wouldn't become another problem for the teachers to handle. When Ene spoke, Leon turned to her, and calmly spoke, "Your friend is only going to dis-service himself by acting the way he acted. The staff here know what they're doing." Leon's voice had a little bit of irritation in his voice. Though he's long used to students like Len.

"On another note, is the whole examining and such for training almost over yet? These suits are weird."
"Far from it." Leon says, "We're probably going to be here for another hour. Since everything's settled here, I better get back to it." Leon started walking off to go find another student to assess. He stopped, turned his head back towards Ene and Sage to let out a, "See ya'." Before continuing walking off.
Which left Sage and Ene there. Normally Sage would have politely said goodbye and walked off. But they were interested in what happened with Eli and Leila. If only they were there, then they could have seen it for themselves. Now all Sage is left to do is ask a stranger about it. "So... What exactly happened here?" Sage brushed back a bit of their shiny blonde hair behind their ear. They weren't going to mention the holy and demonic presences they felt.

Seth
Seth nodded to Adam, then turned his attention to the rest of the class. It was doubtful that he'd have to do anything, but somebody always needed to be on the lookout just in case. Stares and an analysis of the social situation told him that he was on the outside from a number of students. Those he hadn't met assumed he was a teacher, whereas those he had knew he has something set up with them. He didn't mind that much, it wasn't that different from past years at the academy. That's when some of the students were highlighted in red within his vision. Cassandra marking potential targets for the duel arena. His first targets, Drake and Abe were dueling each other so that made it convenient to gather information.
Vespera and Cassandra
When the turret situation resolved, the protective dome faded away. The two of them didn't move from their spot, and waited to called up. In the meantime, Cassandra indicated to Seth who to check out in the usual fashion. Vespera hoped that she'd like what he found, she hated when showoffs hard countered her.
Vance
Not to far away from the darkly dressed girls stood a guy all by himself. Vance would practice, but his power wasn't particularly masterful. It worked the same way just about every time, and there was nothing new for him to use as materials. There were other students, but he wasn't sure they'd be too keen on it, and it sometime's caused trouble. Abilities that don't mesh at all, or ones that mesh too well were potential dangerous to the subjects and the rest of the class. He was keeping his eye out for somebody, if he didn't see her then he'd likely head over to the members of his group that he could find.

Abraham Gene
Profanity had escaped Abe's lips in an ill-tempered hiss upon Drake's maneuver around the initial pillar and then leveling him with each other as he charged up a high-powered stream of plasma. Still crouched on his own pillar, he instinctively stopped his ride and made a leap, the inertia having shot Abe over and behind Drake in the nick of time, just feeling the torrent of heat on his foot. His whole environment moved quickly around him in the span of half a second, but fortunately, his trajectory had aligned him with the first pillar. Abraham shot his arms out at the end of the pillar that was just within his reach and managed to grab hold of it, the energy of his body being focused around this one focal point swung him back around the direction he came, and he allowed his weight and velocity to carry him towards Drake with his arms outstretched and ready for a grab. Unfortunately for Abe and despite Drake's surprise, his sparring mate was fast on his reflexes and started to steer away from him - though not fast enough. Abraham soon found his hand secured around Drake's ankle, much to his satisfaction. He grinned at the thought of finally seizing this evasive little firefly, conjuring his strength to lift up his other arm to grab Drake's other foot as the both of them plummeted to the ground. A full grab would've given a more secure hold on him and probably even protect Drake from the fall more than just holding on to his feet. Abe knew that he'd be okay upon the impact, but he wasn't sure how well Drake would be able to handle it.
All he knew was that he finally got him and he would laugh all the way down.

Jesse Sutor
A soft, warm smile had sneaked its way on to Jesse's face upon hearing what Lily had to say. So he was wrong. She didn't think he was stupid (or so it seemed), she didn't think he was annoying (or so it seemed), and she actually seemed to care (or so it seemed!). But most importantly, she understood. She understood what would happen to him if his powers were gone and he'd be forced to leave. Now he wasn't sure what that meant to Lily, if she'd be saddened or impartial to his departure, but she at least demonstrated some form of empathy and he appreciated that. He found him at a lost for words for a moment, trying to think of something to say. "I..."
Nothing came to him. Except for one thing though: noises in the background. Noises that'd be irritating him for a while now. He narrowed his brows and looked to the side wondering what it could be and, of course, his jaw had dropped at what he had saw. Two massive pillars of stone were erected in the middle of the training field, very much like an arch. In the air fell two people, one he recognized as Drake from his flashy, fiery performance during the warm up and another person he didn't recognize, but he was covered in stone - no, not covered - he was stone, like a statue. And there he was holding on to Drake's feet as he the two fell through the air. H-how? How did that happen? Last he saw Drake he was flying around like an agile little bumble bee. How did that stiff rock of a guy grab him? Then Jesse looked back at the pillars of concrete and connected the dots. Oh. Well CENSORED. These were the kind of people he would have to face in the arena?
"Uh..." Jesse droned as he tried to figure out what to say. "What- what? Don't tell me that I actually missed that."
Assuming as if Lily wasn't sure what he was talking about, he pointed to the field, torn up by the stone that had be turned up and a couple of spots that looked as if it had been hammered by a one ton weight. The look on his face would appear somewhat impressed, though it was more of a "how the flaming fuck did I not notice any of this bullshit?" It appeared that there were more dangerous people in this school than he realized - and it looked as though a handful of them actually knew how to fight.

Drake Deltori Blackmore.
"Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t, sh*t!" Drake muttered over and over again as his tactic backfired horribly. Abe grabbed on to his ankles and he was plummeting. There were a few factors why he was falling. One; he never tried flying with cargo (Well, there was the factor that Drake is made out of plasma), and two; he wasn't fully transformed. Either way; Drake was falling fast with Abe holding on to him. There wasn't any time to think or assess the situation. All Drake did was point his palms at the ground and fire a jet of plasma to soften his fall. He landed on the ground, @ss first, with a thump, and his back (Mostly his @ss) was set alight with pain. My ass! "... You win." Were the only words that left Drake's mouth as he took resignation. His voice was tired, and pained. He transformed back into human form. The plasma dispersed just like it did when it came in contact with an object. Then his light-yellow skin was all that was left. Then he spoke to Val, or everyone in earshot, "Val, please don't tell anyone the story of how Drake Blackmore got his @ss broken...." And that came out wrong.

"Hm?" Lily let out the noise as she looked at the field. She watched the finishing moments of the spar that took place in the training room. The reason why she wasn't watching was because of her conversation with Jesse, and that there was a lot going on at once. She couldn't watch what everyone was doing. Either way, Lily focused her attention on both Abraham and Drake. She could figure out people's powers even from the most subtle uses, but constant uses like this were pretty obvious. Abraham was an Earth Bender, and Drake had a plasma form - Or that'd be what everyone thinks. Lily knew he was really a power replicator. Which is what she'd keep to herself. Lily responded to Jesse, though somewhat sarcastically, "Yup... You're impressed aren't you?" She says, while the display of power was impressive; it was more annoying. They're showing off.

"Aw, a whole hour?" Bre sighed. "Ah, well. It's just like last year, then." She had chosen to ignore Leon's first statement about Len on account of how she knew it was true. Len should have been more respectful and trusting of the school. She couldn't talk to him about it, though- he wouldn't get mad at her, but he would become more angry with the school. Which wasn't good.
Bre waved at Leon a he walked off, calling towards him. "Okay- See ya' later!" It was then that the person whom she couldn't tell the gender of spoke up.

Bre was quiet for a moment. What had happened? it took Bre a bit to decide. This was going to e tricky to explain.
"Call me crazy, but it looked like an exorcism, almost. I mean, the guy was speaking like the stereotypical exorcist or something. I mean, I don't believe in exorcisms and such- Baptist beliefs for a different time-but even I thought it was real. The only thing I don't get about it is why the guy mentioned an archangel if it was with the best thought of cleansing or something."
- Ene, Jaylin, and Kynan -
Jaylin and Kynan smile nervously at Gabe as she glared at them.
She's kinda mean-looking, Kynan.
Maybe she just in a bad mood. Or she doesn't trust us.
Why would anyone not trust me?
Because of pranks?
She doesn't know we do those, though.
Some people just don't trust others, Jaylin. Maybe that's it.
I guess.
The two stood there for a few moments after that, unsure of what to do.
Ene was doing the same. When Gabe asked about everyone's thoughts on the academy- at least she thought it was an open question- Ene smiled. "I really like it." I hate it."I mean, everyone is so open about their powers and it feels nice to be around others with powers. Like, a common ground or something, I guess." Everyone else here can use their powers and openly talk about them except me.
Jaylin and Kynan took a chance to speak up as well. "It's cool," Kynan replied simply, knowing Jaylin wanted to explai why. His twin did, indeed, speak up after this. "We've gotten to meet so many awesome people! It's epic! and we can merge all the time which is fun."
