Jaylin and Kynan -
Jaylin frowned deep in thought. "Well...."
Want me to explain, Jay'?
Okay, sure.
Great! Just merge with me for a sec.
Alrighty.
The two quickly merged together as Jaylin pretty much walked into his brother and Kynan began to speak.
"Whenever we merge, we can read other people's minds. And also we can have the other one's limbs appear anywhere we want to on our body, since it's a part of merging. Like...." Jaylin's hand came out of the top of his head.
Really? you chose my head to stick your hand out?
I thought it would be funny....
Oh yeah.... I guess it is.
Jaylin walked out of Kynan's body laughing, hand still in the air. "That's it," he impishly grinned. "But me and Kynan can talk to each other from anywhere."

Merry frowned, not speaking again after Gabe. She wished she had just lied about what she did for fun. Gabe sounded uninterested. Merry tried not to seem effected by Gabe's response as the game continued. Merry hadn't really expected Jake to win the round. Drake and Gabe seemed more confident in their poker playing abilities, and Lily and herself were a two person team. It just seemed like the odds were stacked against Jake. Despite this, Merry gave Jake a 'good job' smile. Merry glanced towards Lily, as if wondering what was going to happen next, when she noticed how focused her roommate seemed. Merry was about to ask what was up with her, when she jumped out of the chair and declared Jake a cheater.
She was rather impressed by both the illusions of Jake and Lily's ability to pick out that he had cheater. "That's one wicked strong intuition Lily!" She said with a grin, giving Lily a thumbs up. Merry was excited for the game to continue, wondering what other cool tricks might come from the group, even now as Jake left.

Cassandra
Music:
As customary Cassandra didn't let anyone see her at the opening feast, or any other time without being accompanied for that matter. She was rather cocky about this, dancing around, skipping between tables, and even bumping into people, all without being noticed. She played her typical prank on a couple of first years, causing their meals to seem rotten. Now most wouldn't consider this very funny, but she could get away with it, so she did it. For the most part the academy was her private playground. During tests she could steal answers from the smartest student, then do something she deemed more productive the rest of the time. Of course in the classes she actually cared about she did her own work, or else she'd learn nothing. She understood that much. For now she'd make herself scarce and relive one of her favorite performances, The Phantom of the Opera. It had excellent music, singing, and a dark twist to it. Everything that she enjoyed in a production. This academy needs some more class, I go tired of watching the same things over and over again. By the time she had watched the thing though it was reasonable to assume that her friends, so to speak, had made themselves comfortable in their dorms. Something that Cassandra surprisingly cared little for herself. She could pick up the key anytime, and her bags would be there. That was good enough for her. Seht would head out to get better acquainted with the students, while Vespera would just because she liked the night. So she waited by the dorms, on the path to the lounge.
Seth
Unpack and setting up was more of an ordeal for Seth than most. Numerous bags contained computers, screens, and mobile devices. Many of which he built himself out of equipment beyond repair at the school. With these came a number of number of mounts and cords to set them up. It was tedious and careful work, but not once did he make a mistake. Soon enough he had his personal research station set up. He'd worry about getting into the schools system later. Not that'd it'd take long, but because he wanted to spend time at the lounge before curfew. Everything else could wait. Once outside he found Cassandra waiting for him. He joined her in silence, waiting for their third member.
Vespera
"Fine, don't answer. We'll have time to talk later." Vespera descended to the ground, and her web disappeared behind her. She walked past Angel, and grabbed the door handle. "Feel free to join me when your nails dry." With that she stepped out into the cold. Her first instinct was to look around for Seth. He'd either be waiting for her, or already at the lounge. She picked up him and Cassandra at the base of the building. Not wasting any time, she simply jumped off and landed beside them. Straightening herself up, she said. "Let's go." Like it was a casual thing, which it was. Out of the three of them, Vespera was the least discreet with her power.
(I'd wait for a response, but I want to get her out and about.)
Seth, Vespera, and Cassandra
The trio looker rather shady as they made their way to the lounge. They had practiced formation, and were all wearing dark colored attire. Vespera's informal attire clashed with Cassandra's dress, and Seth's dress ware. She was further made to look like a third wheel by the fact that the two of them were holding hands. However, this was only because she had no desire to. Each of them did their own thing regardless of how it looked or what other thought. Many thought that Vespera and Cassandra were related, and that Seth was dating one, or even both of them. None of these were the case. When they arrived Jake was just getting up from the table.
"I hope everything is friendly." He said to the remaining players, as he leaned against the wall with the best vantage of the game. Cassandra and Vespera fell into place on either side of him. A quick glance told him what game they were playing, and who was winning. "Nice to see you, Drake, Gabe." Seth said motioning to each of them. "I don't know you two yet." This was directed at Lily and Merry. "I'm Seth, nice to meet you. And None of you know Vespera or Cassandra." They both smiled. Vespera gave a small wave. "Greetings." Cassandra a respectful bow. "How do you do?"

Drake D. Blackmore, Carmen 'Lily' Santo, & Gabriela M. Valos.

One left, three more showed up to replace him.
Drake was the first to recognize his room-mate. He gave him a warm smile, before turning his attention to the two lovely ladies he had with him. Drake automatically assumed that Cassandra and Vespera were his dates. "Niiice, I never expected you be such a ladies man." He said in a sly tone. He figured that he ought to introduce himself. "Name's Drake Blackmore, I'm new here and all. But you'll be hearing about me after I make a name for myself." He spoke arrogantly and full of uttermost confidence. Then he wanted to know if they could join their poker match. He was fine with them joining, but Seth didn't look like the poker type. The girl Cassandra kinda did. "So, you three wanna play some poker? I was just winning and all... I was just hoping that someone could put an end to my winning streak and all..."
"Hello. My name is Lily." She says in a polite and cordial tone. Lily was a bit more uncomfortable when faced with the new, older group. They were much different from the other people she's encountered merely because they were older (Teachers perhaps?). Long as they were in Lily's presence, their powers would be strengthened slightly, and they would feel stronger. She was hoping that they would be unable to trace it back to her.In any case, Lily kept her eyes on them. Not even the most subtle power use can escape Lily, and she'd be able to figure out their powers in the process.
On the other hand, Gabriela didn't really care. She was in a better mood since earlier and these people provoked little reaction in her. Only a shrug and her eye drifting from each of them. Then back to Merry, and Lily. Since they've politely introduced themselves, so did Gabe, "I'm Gabe nice to meet ya'."
Jake V. & Jaska D. Valos.
After his crushing defeat, Jake Valos decided to go out for a walk. He found his way outside on to the snow storm. It was frigid out here, but was ultimately something Jake could stand. At least for awhile. He stood outside of the entrance to the dorms. This place was beautiful in the snow. The place was covered in white. He would have never imagined seeing a place like this. Though he hoped that Gabe would complete her training before the novelty of this place wore off. He crafted an illusion around himself, one that'd make him invisible to everyone else. Merely because he didn't want to be disturbed while he thought to himself. Though, while he's cloaked from the eyes, he's far from scentless or soundless.
"Big brother!" A familiar voice came from the sky.
Looking up, Jake saw something quickly descending towards him. On reflex, Jake quickly side-stepped. Hoping that whoever doesn't land on him and crush him. Since his concentration was broken, the illusion dropped.
On "impact" with the ground, the snow was sent stirring by the stranger. A sudden burst of flames illuminated the area. Revealing Jaska D. Valos. The boy that landed on his feet. Impressively large wings spread out, standing straight up, claws strangely bloody. Quite the fearsome sight for the easy to intimidate. His prehensile tail holding a rabbit that Jaska had captured. The rabbit had a slash on it's side, and was unconscious, tranquilized. Jaska folded his wings, making them smaller and much more compact, "Hiii, Jake." Jaska's outfit consisted of a brand new black suit, with a red tie, that his parents have purchased for him so he'd look the best on his first day. However he's long ruined the suit, since it's been dirtied, and has a few slashes through it. He had no shoes on, revealing his clawed feet.
It was Jake and Gabe's own stupidity. They had known their far younger brother would be coming with them (Like Gabe, he caused trouble for the Valos family) and they completely forgot about him. He had assumed that he was at his dorms asleep. Eh. He's alive and well, so there's only one thing to say; "Jaska, where have you been?"
Shaking his tail wrapped around the unconscious rabbit, Jaska pointed at it, "Getting food! Oh, and I was exploring the island." Jaska giggled a little bit, and looked around. "The school is cool and all, but it's so boring. The woods are cooler." Like Jaska always has; he's preferred the wildness opposed to the posh cities he's used to. His bestial powers have played a good part in that.
A groaning sound came from Jake. He was slightly irritated that he. Especially since Jaska has to be watched, or else an accident could occur. "Look, you can't do that, Jaska..." Jake started off, before breaking off into a long speech about how it's dangerous, and how they're probably not even allowed to go beyond the walls.
Immediately getting bored, Jaska brought the rabbit closer to his face. While Jake was talking, Jaska took a large bite out of the rabbit using his razor-sharp teeth and immense jaw-strength. Pulling it in half, and eating up what he has in his mouth. It wasn't the most pleasant sight to behold. It's blood and guts spilled out all over the snow. The other half of it's body dripped blood on to the snow. Making one hell of a mess to clean up. Some of it got on his clothes and body, but it wasn't a problem to him.
While this wasn't the first thing Jake's watched this happen; he sure as hell wasn't used to it. He immediately stopped his speech as he suddenly felt very, very, sick. Like he felt like throwing up. He quickly turned away, and crafted another illusion. One that made the rabbit, and it's guts, disappear. Which alleviated that feeling a bit. But he was still nauseous as hell.
Though, Jake in truth; reacted much better to this than the first time. "... Can you not do that again, Jaska?"
Utterly oblivious to why Jake didn't didn't like it, Jaska shrugged and asked, "Why? This is what I do. Remember?" Jaska quickly opened his gaping maw of a mouth again and stuffed what was left of the rabbit inside. Before chomping down and squeezing a bit of it's blood through his lips. A disgusting mixture of a squishing and crunching sound was heard.
"Oh god..." That was, for Jake, the breaking point. He felt like he's ready to vomit everything he's eaten for the last five years.

Ene looked around the campus curiously as she through the snowy climate. She was wearing her blue sweatshirt, as always, and had a black coat over it in an attempt to stay warm. She wore some faded jeans free of holes with some ugg boots. She never had been one for the cold- always easily chilled. The fact didn't jeep her from going to the Academy, though. Ene kept her gloved hands in her coat pockets as she continued walking around the different buildings. So far she was enjoying the school- it felt comfortable to be around people who also had powers. Sure, there were some who were strange or.... Creepy, but it was better than being with her dad who was still blaming her for....
Ene's expression turned sad for a moment before she pushed the thought out of her mind. No, no time to think about that. If anyone else had her power, they would probably make them self forget such a incident if it caused them so much trouble. In truth, though, Ene didn't want to forget it. The day she had a fight with her mom and right afterwards her mom died. She kept the memory to remind herself to not do things she'll regret later on. It made sense to her, though it probably didn't to other people.
A strange sound could be heard as Ene neared the dorms- a mixture or squishing and crushing, as if there were some animal eating a dead creature, or the effect on different video games and shows for when Zombies eat a person or even move around. Ene paused before she walked around the corner at that thought, wincing. She was wondering about what was around the corner of the building, of course, as curiosity is a common part of the average human's thoughts. She was also afraid of what may be around the corner, however. Â Ene almost did just run away from the sound. Until she heard the voices, that is.

Upon hearing the voices, Ene peeked around the corner two see an Animal meta and some guy. It looked to her like the animal boy- She guessed that one was Jaska- was eating air. He had on a tattered suit and just continued eating whatever it was, the sound Ene had heard obviously coming from him. The other boy looked nauseous.
While she wasn't the most sociable of people, Ene was a curious person and this duo made her very curious. And so her actions were thus encouraged by curiosity. She hesitantly walked towards the duo and slowly raised her gloved hand in a wave, being careful not to get too close to the Jaska boy as she wasn't sure what he was eating, still. "Hey," Ene smiled before trying to think of what else to say, ignoring the other one's naseaus look. "Are you two, uh... Newcomers?"

Neal
Neal was rather startled when Rush suddenly approached him from out of the blue. Rush was another student who had gone to the school, though Neal wasn't certain that they'd ever spoken before. Rush was an odd guy, and he kind of gave Neal the creeps. To be quite honest, Neal was surprised that he even knew Rush's name. Neal was terrible with names even among his friends, so remembering someone he'd barely spoken to's name was truly a marvel. Neal wasn't exactly sure of what to say at first, but decided to instead let Ray speak.
"Yeah sure." neal said, walking over to where Ray and Rush stood "What's up?"
Eli and Jasmine
Around five minutes later, Leila, Eli, and Jasmine were all in Eli's dorm room. In the microwave in the corner were two cups of milk for hot chocolate. Jasmine was leaning against the wall, sipping at her coffee as usual. The room was completely devoid of conversation. She watched as Eli rather awkwardly sat on the couch next to Leila, occasionally stealing glances at her from the corner of his eye. He liked her; this was quite obvious. It didn't take the trained eye of a detective to see that Eli was infatuated with the girl. Jasmine wasn't sure what it was, but yet again she didn't exactly understand love very well. At the surface it seemed as if Eli was only attracted to Leila because of her curvature and physical appearance, but something told Jasmine that this was not true. There was something deeper, something richer to the situation. Something told Jasmine that Eli was too good of a guy to only want to use Leila as some eye candy and dessert for after the hot chocolate. Maybe it was that Leila was in trouble that made Eli infatuated with her. He seemed like a person who enjoyed helping others, and if anyone needed help, it was Leila. Jasmine's ESP search had given her more information on Leila than she wanted. It wasn't just the ESP too; Leila was laying a lot of signs for herself that made Jasmine realized who she really was, and her mind had been pumping at a thousand miles an hour as they were coming up here.
Fiddling with objects: gold ring. Evidence of high anxiety. Standing out in the cold with little warm clothing without feeling cold and reluctance to take Eli's scarf: awkwardness around other people and evidence of high internal heat. ESP readings confirm; subject has core temperature of 100 degrees F. Acute xenophobia: evidence of bullying + attractive appearance (confirmed by Eli) = rape victim or is bullied closer to home. Spoke of Amon in present tense: evidence of hallucination or possible MPD. Hallucinations=schizophrenia/psychosis. Amon=Satanic Demon, one of seven fallen angels. Angel of...fire=wrath. Possible biblical obsession. Seven Fallen Angels= Seven hallucinations? Fire=source of heat? Eli hearing voices: evidence of possible magnification of hallucinations. Mutant power? Tattoos in latin: ulula cum lupis=howl with the wolves. cum quibus esse cupis= when you want to be. Howl with the wolves when you want to be. Werewolf? No no no. There's a full moon out and folklore is a lie. Tattoos=red herring. Â Pain when Eli touched her shoulder for both parties: evidence of high heat and repulsion to angelic figure ie Eli. Leila yelling to shut up: evidence of paranoia/anger/hallucination/Neal being an annoying prick.
Conclusions: 1. Leila is has schizophrenia and has some sort of fire-based power as well as the ability to project her own hallucinations.
2. Leila is somehow possessed by satanic demons that are repelled by Eli. Â
Last straw: does touching Leila cause me pain?
Jasmine looked up, and heard the microwave beep. She grabbed the cups of milk, poured in some hot chocolate mix, and walked up to Eli and Leila with the most-faked smile ever on her face.
"Here you go." she said, handing a cup to Eli. She handed the other to Leila, but paused when she did so, staring down at Leila's forearms "Hm. What do those tattoos say?" Jasmine said, fully aware of what the tattoos said already.

Ray Judah Drager, & Dexter 'Rush' Chertok.

There was utterly nothing for Ray to say. This was Rush's rodeo, so he was going to let him do the talking. Unless he says something unfavorable. Which is how Ray prefers doing things. Rush does the talking, Ray beats down the jackasses. He half-smiled, and spoke to Neal, "Yeah, I'll let him do the talking."
"Yes. Yes." Rush said, taking a step closer to Neal. Like it's been mentioned previously, he wanted to ask if Neal knew where Jasmine is. Even if he didn't know where Jasmine is; he wanted to add him to the operation of his. If he's not interested, then they'll go their separate ways and probably never speak again. He put his hands into the pockets of his coat. "Looking for Jasmine Cheng. Need her skill-sets. Headmaster not whom we..." Rush paused for a second after realizing that the headmaster always was a shady bastard in his eyes. "... He is potentially much worse. Much worse. Than previously anticipated. Working to expose him." Rush stared at Nealed after he finished talking for a moment. Examining him from top to bottom. "... What is your stance on the headmaster?"
... And he said something unfavorable. Ray scowled as Rush talked, and sighed, exasperated. He stared at his feet and shook his head. If they were going to go through with this, then Ray sure as hell didn't want Rush preaching about their cause to everyone. Especially if the headmaster is as bad as they think he is, and it could be tracked back to them. Or if Neal declines and runs off to the first teacher to tell them all about this. The whole damn operation would fall apart on them. Ugh. Ray personally didn't see too much use in Neal. He seemed weak and inexperienced. Not very useful at all. Well, he hasn't seen Neal in action, yet. So it'd be stupid just to categorize him just yet.
Useful or not, Ray personally hoped that Neal would either accept or decline and never speak of this again.
Jake V. & Jaska D. Valos.

He heard her footsteps press against the snow. He had her scent as she approached.
Jaska knew she was there far before she thinks he did. He quickly spun around with astonishing speed to face her. "Oh! I knew I smelled a pretty lady!" He says with a grin. He had already finished consuming the rabbit before speaking. So he returned it's tail to it's usual position behind him, curved downwards. The jagged blade at the tip wiggled a bit before holding still. Jaska outstretched his wings, all fourteen feet of them. A rather intimidating display - However, he was utterly oblivious to the fact that he could have scared Ene, and his intents are pure. "Hi, I'm Jaska." He introduced himself, his eyes reflected the light and appeared like they were glowing.
Good god... Jake thought to himself as he looked up at Ene. Which made this situation much, much worse. Before there were nobody around and they could just walk away. Now, they have to deal with this girl asking questions - Probably getting scared out of her mind by Jaska's rather intimidating appearance. But that wasn't the issue here. The problem was that he was concentrating on keeping the illusion on Jaska going. The very illusion that keeps the blood and guts hidden. Because girls probably hate those. The other problem was that Jake was pretty close to throwing up. It's hard to keep concentrating going while he's vomiting. "... Yeah. My name is Jake..." He faded off, trying to hold it in. The stress of this situation and what he just saw isn't doing too well for him. "We are new, Jaska's my little brother."

Leila Gabrielle Septim
Leila didn't like being in the dorm room. She suddenly longed for the quiet emptiness she'd felt outside, in the snow. No one there to bother her. No one there for her to harm. The hot chocolate didn't really taste remotely hot, although the dark liquid did seem to slightly ripple and bubble, as if it wanted very badly to boil but just couldn't, as she held it cupped between her hands.
The demons, meanwhile, were conflicted as to who in the room deserved the most attention. Pride and Sloth, naturally, were most focused on Leila, while Wrath and Lust kept their gaze on Eli. Greed and Envy were locked on Jasmine, leaving Gluttony most concerned with the mug of hot chocolate.
Look at how he looks at you, Leila. Lust stood before Leila in a tantalizing suit, skintight against skin that was unblemished, a form that was far better than anything Leila had. Despite everything else going on, a quiver of self-doubt and resentment swept through her, a sensation Envy was quick to pick up on.
Do you really want that, honey? Because you know all you have to do is ask.
Leila. Ignore those two. Focus on the girl. She's watching you very, very closely. She's looking for answers and she's determined to get them. She suspects your true nature. Greed's grounded, cold analysis was as spot-on as ever, but Leila was determined to resist the advice. This was harder than one would think: rather like overhearing the right answer on a test and trying to naturally answer it on your own, Greed's advice nagged at her. Leila nervously glanced at Jasmine like a doe watching the hunter stalking it.
Uncomfortably aware of Eli's eyes on her, Leila tried to shut out Lust's suggestions (when she glanced over in Eli's direction, Lust briefly blurred Eli's appearance into something mouthwateringly gorgeous, after which she kept her eyes focused pointedly on the mug of hot chocolate, the microwave, nice, non-sexually charged things). There was lots of awkward silence, which wasn't exactly new to Leila, but it certainly didn't help things. The constant noise in her head made awkward silences somewhat hard for Leila to understand: how could silence ever be bad?
When she asked about the tattoos, Leila's head echoed with boisterous, mocking laughter. Your lovely tattoos, Leila, wherever did you get them? Shut the f*ck up.
"It means 'she who runs with wolves will learn to howl'." Leila said-and even for her, her voice was quiet and bitter. "I...I uh, regret getting them."
Making a very poor impression on your hosts, Leila. Why don't you be more sociable? A little more comfortable in your own skin?
Leila. You're ignoring the real issue. She knows your secret. It is a matter of time until everyone else does, as well. You either end this tonight or not at all.
No. Not killing her. Or him.
This doesn't have to end in blood, Leila. There are lots of more enticing things it could end in.
Not doing that either.
As much as you want to?
I don't want to.
You're a bad liar, Leila...
Valery Arsov
"Mmm. Hershey. I should come visit you sometime, yes? And from what I hear Florida is not CENSORED of country. That is the one with the beaches and all the bath salts, right?" Val sat back and watched the chaos of the scene for a moment, taking in what Jesse said. This was all very interesting to him-he wasn't sure if he liked America enough to move her permanently one day, but somewhere like Alaska could hold obvious appeal to Valery. Plenty of breathing room for using his powers without interference, and the environment was naturally suited to him. Places like Florida would be fun for quick visits, but understandably, tended to wear on him after a while. "Do not worry. You will get used to this place quickly. It's good here. A few problems. Teachers like to get on you for not doing schoolwork, talking in class, freezing all the water fountains, but it's not bad. I know what you mean about being alone, though. Never really got what my deal was until I was older. Everyone merely thought our village was just some..." he paused for a second, "flux in the weather. I hear the temperatures are all back to normal now that I've left, eh? Being with other..." he gestured around with his hands at the various metahumans, "it's good though. Makes you feel like X-Men. Only without the gay uniforms."
Arianna Madrigal
Arianna laughed, a joyous, clear sounding giggle. "Me? Observant? Ami-can I call you Ami?-your power must not be super perception or something. I mean, I just tripped over your leg walking here, I'm not really that perceptive. Glad I didn't break some faux pas or something, though. Not how I want to spend my first day, you know?"
Arianna was genuinely interested in Jaylin/Kynan's ability. It explained the strange duality of his song, and also the third arm coming out of him. Everyone else here had such strange and interesting powers-it made her a little fearful, given that she didn't full comprehend her own. Was that, like, a thing? Were you expected to know the ins and outs of your own ability before you got there, or...no, surely a school like this would be just as much about helping you figure it out as it was refining your talents. It did make Arianna wonder what some coaching with her ability could do. After all-and somewhat immodestly-calling her a wunderkind in the musical field was a bit of an understatement. Where was there to expand to?
"Jaylin-and Kynan, I guess-that is so cool. I guess what they say about the twin telepathy and all really is true with you guys. So, like, morbid question here. If you broke your leg or something, could you just switch to your other brother and then get to a hospital and get it fixed?" She really wanted to ask what happened if one of them needed to use the bathroom but the other didn't, but figured maybe she should wait until later on in the conversation, or when she knew them better, to start asking stuff like that. The whole "it's not rude to ask about powers" probably didn't apply to that one.

Ene nodded at Jaska as he introduced himself, mostly out of politeness as she had already heard his name. She had to admit, him turning to face her so quickly surprised her, but the statement the animal meta followed with explained why. He smelled a "pretty lady." Ene couldn't help but smile at the compliment, not sure if it was a joke or not but taking it as a compliment, nonetheless. "Thank you," Ene grinned. It was then that Jaska returned to his normal position and Ene's eyes widened- dang, his wings are huge! Oh, an look- the end of his tail with the dangerous looking thing... Is facing forward- At her. And then there's the claws... And are his eyes glowing? Oh, no- it's just the light.
Ene's eyes then reverted back to normal size, and her shoulders- which she hasn't noticed were tensed up- slumped back to normal. Jaska looked menacing, of course. If she hasn't spoken with him first, she would have probably ran away. She had spoken to him, though. He seemed like a nice.... Kid? Sure, he was big and fearsome looking, but it's the inside that counts, right? Though whatever he just ate that was seemingly invisible was now inside him.... But it couldn't be anything THAT bad, right? "Nice to meet you," Ene smiled before introducing herself, as she found now to be the right time. She quietly spoke "I'm Ene- It's my first year here." she then turned to Jake, who was introducing himself.
The first thing Ene noticed about Jake was that he seemed to be getting sicker as he talked and that he was concentrating hard- either because he was holding down vomit, which probably did take a lot of concentration, or he was doing some other task. Maybe both? Ene glanced from Jake to Jaska, trying to piece together the rather easy puzzle. Jaska ate something invisible that she was pretty sure was part of a power... From what she had heard from the conversation earlier, Jake didn't like whatever Jaska was doing. So maybe he was hiding it? That would explain Jake's concentration. Unless he was just plain sick. Ene sighed, biting her thumbnail nervously for a moment as she tried to think of a way to word the sentence that would follow in a way she wouldn't regret. She quietly said to him,
"If you're using your, um.... Power or something and it's making you kind of sick, you can go ahead and drop it. If you're not using your power and are just sick, um.... Sorry?"
-
Jaylin and Kynan both looked at each othe nervously when Arianna asked them the question.
It's all right to tell them, right, Kynan?
I don't know. It's the problem for us- being connected and all.
I say we go for it! They're nice, right?
You're right! You can explain it, though.
Jaylin hesitantly stepped forward and spoke, face for once a bit serious. "When one of our legs break, the other one feels the pain. It wouldn't do much good." He was quiet for a moment, purposely addin in dramatic effect, before smiling. "Though it's not a big deal. Our older brother- Len- he's here and can do pain manipulation. He would be able to take care f anything temporarily if that happened."
Kynan nodded in agreement, smile on his face, "he doesn't know we came here, yet. It's gonna surprise him a ton."

The question certainly confused him to say the least. He didn't know how exactly she managed to guess how he's using his power so accurately (Merely because there's absolutely zero evidence that he's using his power). And, while she didn't know this, his power is all that's standing between her and a pile of blood and guts. "... No, no, it's fine." He was especially eager to end this conversation so he can lax and walk off somewhere. There was utterly no point in continuing this conversation other than risking the mess getting discovered. "So uh, nice to meet you, we'll be going now..." Jake decided to take slow steps away. Motioning for Jaska to follow.
Not too far away from the group, someone's pet rat was scurrying through the snow. It belonged to a female in the girl's dorm, and got away as she was packing her clothes. Now it was wandering through the snow. Jaska's senses had long detected the creature. That inner predator instinct was screaming at him to look. He dropped the conversation at hand and quickly darted around again to look. His entire body turned, which also meant his wings were going at high speed too. His wings were going to smack Jake right in the face.
Fortunately, Jake dropped down on to his knee as a reflex action to dodge Jaska's wing. Unfortunately, his concentration was broken, which destroyed the illusion. A bloody pile of guts rested on the snow. Jaska's bloodied suit was revealed, he was still looking at the rat. Contemplating rushing after it or not. Jake saw and could only mutter, "... God dammit."

"That's it," he impishly grinned. "But me and Kynan can talk to each other from anywhere."
At first Amimoore found their power, odd, or weird. But she changed her mind after hearing more about it. It was quite different from what she's encountered before. They had a telepathic bond - Which is what Amimoore knew they had just by reading their mind. Perhaps their mental abilities will get much, much stronger. Maybe they're capable of stuff like sending their thoughts to people, and perhaps even telepathy when alone. But with one touch... She'd have the psychic energy of two cerebral type Meta-humans. They would make her so powerful - No, I can't think like that. Amimoore shrugged off the thought. She spoke to them in jovial tone, "That's very interesting. You should spend some time here with the instructors, then you'll find out everything you can really do."

There's another brother. Maybe their link extends to him...? Amimoore inquired to herself. She really wanted to explore the twins a lot more. Something in them just resonated with her. But she just couldn't resist saying; "... You'd best get help if you get injured. No matter how good a 'temporary' solution sounds. There's a hospital not far away, and there's a lot of healing mutants if they're around." With that out of the way; Amimoore had to know more about the twins and their power. Even help them develop it. Both the twins and Amimoore have telepathy, except Amimoore was on a far different level than them. She knew they couldn't pierce her mind, even if they tried, but there's more to telepathy than just reading minds. Hell, maybe she'll learn something. "Jaylin, Kynan, I really think we should train together. We all are telepaths, and I can really help you develop your powers...." And maybe get at that juicy psychic energy you have there "... My telepathy started out with only being able to read minds. I'm sure you two can expand your gifts too. I've seen countless people do so."

Seth, Vespera, and Cassandra
The three acknowledged everyone's greetings before responding to Drake's offer. The ladies found his level of confidence to be amusing. Seth didn't show anything different. He just remained upbeat, and collected. Being very in tune with himself, he caught onto the subtle boost in strength, and he was able to trace it to the source. A mental note was made, but he said nothing about it. "I'd love to join, but I'm afraid none of you would have a chance. You see, a certain gift of mine almost make's it cheating for me to play games like this. Therefore I will sit out." It looked as though Cassandra might be preparing to step in, but Seth put a hand on her shoulder. "She won't be either."
It didn't even seem to phase Cassandra, she stood next to Seth again in happy compliance. "Seth's right. I really best not."
From the other side of Seth, Vespera stepped forward. "I'm in." She sat down in the spot Jake had recently departed from and waited to be dealt out a hand. On her special pheromones clung to her like perfume. Their scent similar to roses, with an added effect on people. Vespera was able to keep them down to a minimum, so only somebody next her would have a chance of inhaling it. If regular cologne wasn't repulsive to her, she might have decided to not use it. However, until something else worked, it was in her mind both a necessity and a gift. One that she shamelessly used, despite the implications to others.

Abraham Gene
Playing "I'm Gonna Be" by The Proclaimers on loop for a three hour plane trip was never precisely the best way to spend your time traveling and it shouldn't be, as any kind of melody is lost in the maddening monotony that makes up the repetitiveness of the rhythm. The flight attendants whom were particularly afflicted by such madness had already abandoned any hope of relief or methodical function while on board the flight and were near the edge of eating their gun until the jet had finally landed, followed by an instance of chain smoking and binge drinking. All well aware of by Abe, whom was the culprit of such a heinous crime. He in particular indulged himself in such brain-scratching insanity, finding it an excellent way to kill time. While victimizing himself and the rest of the crew wasn't the ideal way to kill time, as thought of by the pilots, he was at least not harassing them, unless there be a catastrophic accident that would be surely out of their control, resulting in the loss of their employer's son and a five million dollar jet. Abe had went off board into the midst of a flurry of snow and ice. So it wasn't just some snow machine spouting a bunch of nonsense into the air - this was the genuine (freezing ass) article!
Abraham was all about killing time - even when he wasn't repeating The Proclaimers. This was even shown by procrastinating his flight until he about felt ready to leave. Arriving on time was for squares anyway, party crashing was always the way to go. Plus, he missed the atrocious line that had no doubt piled up by the registration desk, leaving him not an ounce of worry in the world about having to push and shove his way through (while no doubt it being a feat he can actually perform). Still, he had obligations he had to do, this being one of them. Walking off the ramp, he winced at the cold air and snow that had penetrated his designer jeans - Aliasghar Hussain - and graced his bare neck with the gentle caress of a cinder block. Truly, perhaps a comfortably thin v-neck with a leather jacket over it wasn't the best protection when ice was falling from the CENSORED sky. Two of the attendants came running after him with his things in tow: one wrapped his warmed wool pea coat around Abe, who gladly accepted another layer and reveled in the warmth in provided, and the other with two of his duffel bags. Abe glared at them with a glance suggesting they had forgotten something. Fortunately, one of them was already on it, and after shortly disappearing onto the plane, he came out with two guitar cases: a very large one, and a little mini one. Both were wrapped around his shoulders, and Abe lifted his duffel bags with one in each hand (with a mighty amount of ease). No tears were shed or goodbyes shared, both parties went on their merry way. Abe didn't really care to have them along and the school discouraged anyone that wasn't a student or meta from coming. That's fine.
Would it be a fair comparison to akin the likes the blizzard outdoors to the warmth of the secure indoors? No. No it would not. In comparison, the inside was the mansion and the outdoors were the slums. Not to say that the academy was a mansion - sure, it got the size part down, but the features within it were totally lacking. There should be three hundred crystals in that chandelier, not one hundred! Regardless, they likely had to make accommodations for those of the lower class. After all, they couldn't make them feel alienated or intimidated by large, extravagant structures. Abe sighed. Modesty had its charm though, he had to admit. Surely, he'd get used to it.
"Hello sir." Said the smiling young woman at the receptionist.
Oh god, it would be worse than he thought. Why weren't the receptionists French? Like, shipped straight from France? What could be better than hearing "greetings monsieur" when you walk through the front door? It's basically a requirement! Okay, okay, this is going to be okay-- what the hell have they done with the tapestry?
Surely it was apparent to the receptionist that he would have to be accustomed to this new environment, after all, this place was rather impressive and he would no doubt have to get used to such a fancy looking place, right? Abe held his tongue in front of the woman and put on his charming smile. "Hello ma'am."
Could've swore the white of his teeth sparkled with the suave of his greeting.
"Can I get your name?" The receptionist asked.
"Abraham Gene."
"Ah, okay, I found you. You should be... in room 100. Here's your key."
"Thank you hun'." Abe cooed with a wink, sliding his key off the desk and into his pocket. And as he entered the hallways, he snagged a pamphlet for him to go over once he reached his room.
The room was alright, to say the least. Decent sized bed, acceptable living conditions. Did it help that he payed a little bit of money to improve it? Maybe, but it had to be a lot for so little since they want to keep the students fairly and equally housed, as though this were some sort of communism. Communism was bad for business, though this ultimately wasn't a business, was it? Surely not. Any business knows there's no money in sending meta humans to private schools, the idea of that for the sake of money is ridiculous. He dropped his two heavy duffel bags and they landed with a loud thud. Surely, his room mate won't try to mess with his stuff, right? Oh god, if he would there's be hell to pay. These are his personal possessions after all! Abraham grabbed both of the zippers and yanked the bags open. Wrong! The bags were actually full of bricks! A good old prank is always good to play on your attendants once in a while, he had to keep himself from laughing as they brought him his bags! Of course, with Abe's kind of athleticism and power, his strength was clearly beyond comparison, but he respected the effort and tenacity required of a normal person to bring these bags to him. Unbeknownst to them, some of his belongings were already sent here approximately a month in advance, allowing him not to worry about anything missing at all.
He zipped up the bags and placed them near his dresser. He would leave them there - if his room mate is so nosy he would go through his stuff, perhaps his weak noodle-like arms and the weight of the bags would make it hard enough to instill the idea that it wasn't worth the trouble. And if he were truly persistent? The presence of bricks instead of hidden treasure would surely be another case of instant karma. Little asshole would deserve it. Speaking of his room mate, where was he? He wasn't here. He didn't want a room mate as it was, but the school was insistent on it. Now that he had what was likely a roomy with snot dripping down his nose, he didn't even have the consideration to even be here. How droll. On the other hand, he did hear what sounded like some sort of party as he came up here. Odd though, that there'd be a part on academy grounds on the first day. Abraham smiled. But who was he to argue? I always like myself a good party.
It wasn't too far away either. It took a couple of right guesses on where to turn, and the sound of a crowd was already beginning to emanate from a room somewhere around. Even then, it wasn't hard to find with the ever so subtle clues given by the signs that said "Student Lounge". Clearly, that's where they'd be. And upon finding its doorway, never had he seen himself in a room with so many freaks at a time. But that's okay, right? Of course, he was probably a freak himself, but at least he dressed nice. There wasn't so many people who looked to be near his status by sheer clothing alone (now that he thought about it, he dressed pretty modestly himself). So hey, you can't really judge a book by their cover, right? There were a couple attractive faces about, those which will no doubt be subjected by his charm. But now he had to make a name for himself. Clearly, the largest group he could wrap his fingers around seemed to be the ones at the poker table. With a guy were two ladies - and oh god, would they contrast with the snow. He seemed to prefer the goth sort of taste, and yeesh, more power to them. Honestly, it was a bit much for Abe. But if one of 'em were a sexual dynamo, then he might be able to make an exception. Might. The was this girl, a little boyish looking, a little cute though. But as for the others, the girl with the purple hair, the one with the eye patch, oh yeah. Eye patch girl was a bit odd because of that feature, but still, he'd totally get in on some of that. She'd look the type to be pretty rough... he liked it like that.
"Hellooo party-goers!" He called out, a smile stretching from ear to ear.
He made no effort to hide the confidence that was present in his strut towards the poker table, coming between Gabe and Drake his eyes scanning the faces of the players. "Have we got room for one more, hm? What are we bidding on?" His charismatic voice sounded with cheer and projected very well around the room, and he looked to check out Drake. "Nice jacket you have there, buddy." He unbuttoned his coat a couple times to let some air flow to his neck and cool him off a bit, revealing a little bit of his own leather jacket. His head turned to look at Gabe beside him.
"Hey there." Abraham purred with a wink. Now was a good time to be testing the waters, if any.
*
Jesse Sutor
Jesse couldn't help but laugh a bit at Val's mention of the X-Men's "gay uniforms". The guy was actually pretty likable if you gave him a chance. It was easy to judge Val by his appearance, and he was glad that he didn't. He made some mention about freezing water fountains and his story about his home in Russia, how there was some flux in the water. And how it got better when he left. Could he control the weather, or was he some sort of ice man like Frozon straight out of the Incredibles, or was there more to his power than that? He really didn't care about asking about his power since Jesse might see it in action another time. Besides, that would mean he would have to, in turn, tell him about his own ability. And frankly, he wouldn't know what to tell him except that he sees ghosts. And that wasn't even that accurate for the most part. He didn't know what he could do at all, so as far as he knew, his potential was one hundred percent unrealized.
"Haha, right. You seem to know more about this school than I do, so you're probably gonna have to help me out here and there."
It was then that the new guy appeared through the door and made a mild commotion near the poker table. Dark skinned, dreads, nice clothes. His voice wasn't too obnoxious, a little charismatic, but he seemed needlessly loud. Though on the other hand, it could just be his voice. It carried well. He recognized that from his days at work, where everyone knew how to project their voice right and grab attention.
"Huh, I wonder what his problem is." Jesse said absentmindedly, not really thinking about what he was saying. He was a little too entranced by his own thoughts and his conversation with Val to think about restraint.

Ene sighed, a bit disappointed as she watched Jake begin to leave. She was wrong, apparently. He must be just sick or something. She watched him begin to leave, thinking, Well guess I can't make a friend from him. She saw Jaska looking around anxiously before turning quickly. Ene found herself letting out a, "Stop!" when she saw Jaska's wings headed strait for Jake. He ducked, luckily, but also stopped using his power. Oh, so she was right, then? She kind of wished she wasn't.
Ene winced as she looked at all the blood and guts spilled about. She felt her hands shaking abit, and her legs felt that way, too. Her stomach hurt some, as well. She fell to her knees, ignoring the fact that the snow was melting under it and making her legs feel cold. Shelooked dat the blood, shocked, before closing her eyes.
Okay, calm down. You were expecting something like this. It's not a big deal. It's just dead animal. Don't throw up. You'll regret it. Just smile it off.
Ene slowly stood up and opened her eyes, turning to Jake and smiling despite the queasy feeling in her stomach, "You feel better now that you aren't using your power, right?" She turned to Jaska, pretending to smile so much that her eyes were closed. "And you might want to get cleaned up- some students might not like seeing someone covered in blood." Some students including her.
She then turned to Jake, "I, um....... kind of heard you two talking a bit earlier and saw a little bit of your brother eating.... nothing? It sounded gross. I'm sorry....." She was talking a lot for her normal self. Wow.
- Jaylin and Kynan -
Kynan smiled at the idea of training with Amimoore, as did Jaylin. When they both had the same expression, it was almost impossible to tell the difference between the two. "I think we shouldtrain, too!" Kyanan grinned. (bell rang. gtg. sorry bout the dumb post ^-^')

This only provoked a hearty laugh from Drake. He either interpreted Seth as hilariously arrogant, or serious. He spoke to Seth, "Guess you really are a gentleman, sit down and watch the magic." He slid back in his chair. Since it appears that only Vespera is playing, she seems like a actuate replacement for Jake. Hopefully she'll be good since thus far, Gabe and Drake were winning.
The pheromones that Vespera emitted were not unnoticed. Lily knew that Vespera was creating them just by observing her, the Meta-human energy inside of her fluxed and changed subtly. The more Lily observed; the more she knew about the pheromones. Though, she stopped staring at Vespera, because she didn't want to be noticed. Questions might get asked that she doesn't want to answer. In response, Lily scooted over a bit to the side.

Everyone's attention was turned to Abraham as he strutted over to them. He was black, well dressed, and had dreadlocks. Drake found him as one of those cool black guys. He did look quite imposing and scary (Heh, scary, big black man) but so far he acted more of a cool guy. He knew that they could probably get along. "Yooooo, name's Drake Blackmore, and welcome to my poker party."
Gabe immediately knew he was wealthy in some way. Just from the way he dressed and acted. She's been around too many rich kids to not spot one immediately. Of course, he would, since she in no way appeared wealthy. More of a gruff girl. She had really hoped that he wouldn't come over here and flirt with her. Gabe just stayed quiet.
Lily looked at Abraham as he walked up. She had noticed him far before anyone else did because of her gift. She watched him just to make sure he wasn't subtly using any powers. Hm. He wasn't using his power. She could tell because the energy within him was inactive. So it was nothing major. Though his added presence made her even more uncomfortable. Â "Yo, I'm Lily."

Gabe was amused by Drake's various comments and threw in her own little comment,

Merely because she's been hit on by so many muscular apes that it's not even funny anymore. Not even counting the fact that she preferred the female gender. Unless he turned out to have lady parts, Gabe did not care for him. "Hey." She nonchalantly responded. She had little reason to be outwardly aggressive.

The situation wasn't going as bad as Jake predicted. Though, he knew it was pretty bad regardless. While Jake was relieved to have to stop concentrating, he now has a probably freaked out girl on his hands. There was that obvious awkwardness looming over them - That would likely never go away. Well, could have been worse: Jaska could have ate that rabbit in front of her. That would be really bad. Jake said to Ene, "Yeah, yeah, I'll be fine." He was still nauseous, but he'll be fine. Now the agenda included leaving this conversation soon as possible. Ene was fine and all, but this sure as hell was some terrible first impression. For everyone here.
The urge to kill that . "Oh..." Jaska said, he hung his head. Folding his wings halfway through and his tail forming a complete circle around him in the snow. "... Sorry if I scared you, pretty lady..." He did feel legitimately bad about what he did Ene. Feeling like he was trouble for everyone.
"It's okay, Jaska." Jake says, turning his head over to his little brother. Trying to reassure Jaska. With success. "Don't worry about it. Remember? It's out of your control."
Jaska's body quickly sprung back to life. With that child-like happiness quickly returning.
Celo wrote:

"A rabbit!" Jaska playfully injects.
The less questions asked the better. That's what Jake thought was for the best. "Yeah, he... Does that. Ever since his power manifested. Well, he's been eating all kinds of animals since he... Changed." Jake looked around, rubbing his hands together. Trying to warm them up, with no success. It'd probably be better to head back inside than waste time trying to keep warm out here. Jake finished speaking, "It's been a handful trying to cover up the neighbor's pets going missing... And cleaning up the messes he makes." Then Jake looked down at Jaska.
Ignoring mostly everything Jake said, Jaska just asked; "You cold? I can help!" Jaska put his hands together like he was going to create something with his power.
"Actually, no." Jake says to Jaska. He didn't want to be out here any longer. "We should head back inside, Jaska. You need to get cleaned up." He took several steps back. Before stopping to look at Ene, "Um, Ene, if you want to talk again, meet me in the lounge."

Merry kept rather quiet as more and more newcomers entered the student lounge. Merry kinda positioned herself behind Lily, shielding herself from the new people. Keeping her eyes down low towards the table and her hands folded down in her lap. Something rubbed her the wrong way about the first three to enter, Seth, Vespera, and Cassandra, and didn't even make an attempt to greet them or exchange names with them. The two girls made her feel rather nervous, even more nervous then she felt when she first sat down at the table. At least Gabe and Drake were a bit funny to counter the intimidation. Vespera an Cassandra just looked like they were there to cause trouble and ruin peoples days, and Seth looked like he had no control over the situation. Merry silently scolded herself for judging the three of them so harshly without really giving them a chance.
Then when the next to enter, Abraham, made Merry even more uncomfortable and nervous. Her shoulders tensed and she continued making eye contact with her hands. She moved a bit closer to Lily, almost touching her, as if Lily was some sort of protective barrier from all the strange and intimidating students to enter. Merry tried not to show any emotion when he began to flirt with Gabe. Darn it! He was even smoother then her!

Ene nodded as Jake said he was fine. She was mostly happy she was right and relieved that she wasn't going to get barfed on. She felt a bit guilty, however, when Jaska seemed to feel guilty for his actions. A bit ironic, when you think about it. Jake was able to cheer him up quickly, though. It was quite clear that the two were siblings if you studied how they reacted to each other an their emotions. Ene had always wondered what it would be like to have a sibling- she would playfully bug her mom back before she died. The thought brought a pain back to her heart, but Ene was able to keep her happy composure.

Ene nodded at Jake, smiling. "Okay. Thanks." She waved at the two brothers before turning around to walk off, calling behind her, "See ya later!"
At least Ene hoped she would see them later. The conversation, while awkward, ended better than it could have. And the two seemed nice. Hey, maybe she'll end up making her first few friends at the Academy. Huh. Her thoughts changed to a different subject- the cold. Now that she was no longer distracted, Ene felt COLD. She had the knees of her jeans wet from the snow and that combined with the wind chill made her more cold than before. And she had been standing outside a while. Ene shivered as she began walking again. Maybe she'll just head right to the student lounge. Wait- when did Jake mean for them to meet? Guess she'll find out later.
- Len -
Len hasn't found anything to do on his quick walk. Nothing. At all. He was absolutely bored. Maybe h needed to find a hobby. He yawned, glancing in the student lounge as he passed it by. So many people- a pair of twins that looked just like Jaylin and Kynan. Wait. Len took a step back and looked in the room again. It was them. How in the...?
Len walke past a crowded table where some kids were playing poker, trying to avoid looking in anyone's faces. He already felt like there were too many people in the room. Len walked up to his two step brothers, trying to avoid glancing at the two girls he was with. He had other matters to deal with, now, anyways. "What are you guys doing here?" Was the first thing He could think of asking.
- Len, Jaylin, and Kynan -
Jaylin an Kynan both smiled when they saw Len.
Sure did take him a while to figure out we were here, huh, Kynan?
Yeah. You would think he would've known long before we left home, even. He knew we also got the invitation, as well.
Maybe so, but it was fun to pretend we weren't going.
Yes, it was. A very fun prank. We should do it again, sometime.
Agreed. It looks like he is just as socially awkward as ever, though, huh, Kynan?
Yep. He even avoided looking in everyone else's faces. It's amazing he even came in here.
Kynan an Jaylin glanced at each other and laughed as Len looked at them in surprise. "Sure did take you long enough, huh, Len?" Jaylin asked, a big grin on his face. Kynan's smile matched his.
Len couldn't help but shake his head, a small smile on his face, as well. "Yeah... You got me," he quietly smiled, feeling like an idiot. But hey, the two were good actors. They stayed at home as Dad went to see him off. Maybe Mom- actually she's his step-mom- drove them. Tricky kids. He glanced at the two girls they were with. Of all the people his brothers chose to socialize with, at had to be two attractive girls that around his age- was that good or bad? Len slowly opened him mouth to speak before closing it. He would only end up screwing up with his talking.
Kynan took the liberty of introducing him. He smiled at Arianna and Amimoore, giving a quick nod at Len as he spoke, "This is our step-brother Len. He is also new here, like me and Jaylin."

Abraham Gene
Abe's eminent flirtation with Gabe would have to wait. She had responded in turn, howe'er, with much less regard and enthusiasm than he. Of course, she didn't know what she was getting herself into and it's only natural to show hesitation before throwing oneself into the fray of romance. He would get back to her eventually, let her settle into the pot as the freshly thrown in meat melts into the stew and enriching the flavors of the broth and other ingredients with his own; his charm always did. His gaze had turned back to Drake, with whom he took up the habit of being as relaxed in his chair as possible and met Drake's grin with his own. The man was cheeky! He liked that! He seemed to be a charmer, much like himself. But oooh, no where near better, most assuredly. It would be a fun contest! Not to say contests in general weren't fun - they definitely were, but this one in particular would be especially amusing if one takes into consideration its good nature. "Nice to meet ya, Drake," He greeted, then turned to look to Lily with a nod and raise of his eyebrows, "Lily. I'm Abraham, Abraham Gene."
He laughed at Drake's comment about the bids. No bids, huh? What a shame. Money was of no consequence or material to Abe, but it was to others, and it made them play more carefully. That is when poker gets fun - when everyone else has something to lose but you, than you can make all the plays you'd like, and they'll get intimidated by your large bid that they won't try to beat it. That's how you win a game with just a pair.
"Love and admiration, huh?" Abe mused, "Wow, the stakes are high tonight. So, let's see... the only thing I feel comfortable putting up against such a bid," Abe proposed thoughtfully as he winked at Drake, "is about ten dollars and some lunch at the cafe' tomorrow. How about that, eh?"
Ten dollars and lunch? It was miniscule compared to what he could be putting up, of course. But these being the people he just met, and can't drop the money bomb just like that. Sociology is so much more sensitive than that, he has to reel them in first. And of course, ten dollars is sometimes considered a hefty amount of pocket money if you're poor and it can get you a small meal at a cheap restaurant. Here though? You might be able to get yourself something nice for ten bucks. He didn't really care who won - it wasn't much of a sacrifice. Ten dollars totally worth being integrated into a group, it got him in better than the kids sitting in the corner doing whatever. Gabe winning gave him an excuse to go on a little date with her, the same goes for Lily, and Drake seemed pretty cool - what was his last name again? Blackmore? Blackmore was a teacher or instructor here, right?
In that case, if he got in good with Drake, he got in good with the teachers. This didn't seem to be too bad of a group to be hanging around. Though Seth might wear on him a bit, really, just sitting back, doing and saying nothing? While surrounded by two goth girls? Not only were they weird, his taste in women was at least questionable. And he's sitting back. Did he think himself a pimp? Abe knew pompous - he was wealthy for God's sake - but Seth was in a league of his own when it came to pompous. Misplaced pompous! He'd have to teach him a thing or two about women (and how to behave around them), what to like, what you shouldn't like, whatever. So what if he shoots him down, there was an arena here, right? Man oh man, if he were shot down, he would love to readjust the guy's confidence a little.
Really, thinking yourself a pimp with goth girls. Eugh. That's the first he's heard of it.

"Hahahaha...." Drake loudly laughed. Lunch and ten dollars? That was a deal that he was willing to take. Since he was winning already, there'd be no doubts that he'd retain his lead. The only problem is that he hasn't seen Vespara and Abe's poker skills. "You're on!" He loudly shouts. Drake quickly dealt the cards to everyone participating. He was going to win this if it was the last thing he did.
I can kill you just by touching you. You don't want to come after me, big boy. Lily thought to herself as she looked at Abe. She had already seen through the plan that Abe was trying to pull. He probably wanted a date with one of the girls. There two things became apparent for Lily. One; she didn't want to participate in this match anymore. And two; she was certain that Merry didn't either. This was at first an attempt to connect with people; now they are plenty of people here she didn't want to connect with. There's probably other places for Lily and Merry to go chat. Lily leaned in toward Merry and quietly asked her, "Yo, you wanna leave? I heard there's a cafe somewhere, we can head there. If you'd like..."
Actually, at this point; Gabe wanted Drake to win. Because both of what Abe bet was worthless to her. She's already rich, and she could buy her own lunch, if she wanted to. Worst of all, she was in no way interested in him. Eh. She was just going to half ass this match and go check up on her room-mate. Probably still curled up into her bed. For her own sake, Leila better have not touched any of Gabe's stuff.
Jaska D. & Jake V. Valos.
After a few minutes, Jake and Jaska entered the student lounge side by side. Jake was wearing the same clothes as he was before, but Jaska had an entirely different attire, for obvious reasons. He was wearing jeans, and boots a few sizes larger - To account for his claws. He wore a white shirt with a cartoon character on it. Two of his major animal features were hidden. He had his wings folded and flattened, and his tail wrapped around his waist. Only poking out of his outfit a bit. The outfit concealed his wings and tail, but couldn't conceal his claws, teeth or eyes. Which was fine, since before he came here; he had to take more 'drastic' steps to conceal his obvious mutation (And it was not fun).
Both of them started walking forward, with Jaska by Jake's side. Jake had his hands in his pockets and slowly walked forward. He looked around for Ene. They probably have much more to discuss, without the looming awkwardness of the moment and fear of vomiting. Probably should have given her a time to meet. Jaska would probably have noticed her before he does. "Hey, Jask, can you see Ene?"
"Nope." Jaska says in a jovial tone. "Oh! But I have her scent! If that helps."
Looks like there was nothing to do but wait. "Yeah, it does." Jake says as he walked over to the sofa and jumped down on them with a thump. Jaska sat down on them, gently, but accidentally piercing them with his claws. He scooted over it, trying to cover it up with his body. They were going to wait for Ene to show up.
Amimoore Black Dellamorte.

This was exactly what Amimoore wanted to hear. She looked forward to training with them... But tomorrow, during the power training session. She was going to give it a bit of time before they jump right into training. You know? Let them warm up. "Good. We should get started tomorrow." She says with a smile. Before they were approached by another student. Apparently this was the one who can manipulate pain they mentioned. She just stood by and watched as they had their short little exchange.

Seth, Vespera, and Cassandra.
Seth laughed with Drake. "I guess so." He was already sizing up each persons odds as Abraham walked in. It wasn't hard to trow him into the mix. The moment a real bet was made he made some adjustments. Based on current social situation, in combination with subtle body langue he was able to cross all the ladies off, aside from Vespera. They would all either try to lose, or leave in light of the newcomers. On the other hand, Drake was going to try his hardest because he's competitive. So would Vespera, but her motives would be different. She wanted to mess with him, and Cassandra would likely jump in. Right now wasn't the time to let on that he ran the cafe. "Nice to meet you Abraham, my name's Seth. This is Cassandra."
Vespera introduced herself. "I'm Vespera, and I'll match you." She reached under the table and brought up a black silk mini purse. From inside she rested a ten dollar bill and rest it on the surface. Winning was still top of mind, but she liked a little risk. In any case she'd never had to pay to eat at the cafe in the first place. Though she'd never actually been a customer either. Seth was nice enough to help out with her out with acquiring food more to her liking. Maybe I could try eating in public, just this once. That'd be sure to turn him off. I'm sure Cassandra can do better though.
Cassandra was glad Lily was leaving. She had a kind of sense like nothing that she'd seen before. Something told her that it was her fault that Seth didn't let her in on poker. At this point she was already planning on sitting out, so it didn't phase her. There's no way he could have predicted this Abraham guy showing up.

She walked over to the duo, giving them a friendly smile. "So, you wanna talk?" She wasn't sure what else to say, really. She had both of her hands in the pocket of her sweatshirt, having taken off her jacket by now.
- Len -
Len nodded at Amimoore, unsure of what to say when he was told they were just discussing him. He ran his fingers through his short hair nervously. He never liked telling others about his power that much or knowing others were talking about him. "Well, uh... Yeah. Pain manipulation and... Such."

Neal
"Oh..." That explained how Rush knew who he was. Neal was known to have been the only boy to have ever tamed the beautiful Jasmine long enough to date her, and he got a reputation for it. It was a relatively positive reputation, but things like this made Neal wish that they had never dated, or maybe it was that he wished they were still going out. He missed Jasmine; despite her spiny carapace, inside she was secretly sweet and kind. But now they were broken up and, for all Neal knew, Jasmine hated his guts for absolutely no reason. He had taken her to his dorm and lit a few candles to be romantic, and Jasmine somehow deduced that he was trying to get her into bed, which was not his intention. In short, Jasmine Chang was a sore subject, and she was all people ever asked him about.
"You're looking for her, then." Neal said, rage slowly beginning to bubble into his voice "She took off with two new kids. I think the one's name was Eli. Guess they were going back to his dorm or something. I don't know where it is, and quite frankly I don't care to find out." Rush, as seemed to be the norm, kept talking, and finally asked Neal about his opinion of the Headmaster.
"I knew he was hiding something!" Neal cried out a little too loudly to be talking about a possible rebellion "I just knew it! He's been acting so freakin weird these days, you know, man?"
---
Eli and Jasmine
"Interesting..." Jasmine looked down at the tattoos, and then placed the two mugs on the table awkwardly, as if forgetting why she'd brought the two of them their drinks. She guessed she was being kind again. Jasmine tried not to be kind; it's what broke her and Neal up. Everything was fine until she started letting him through her cold hard carapace of logic and stoicism, and that made him think that he was free to help himself. F*cking man-CENSORED. she thought to herself. Jasmine looked down at Leila's tattoos, and, remembering why she had walked over, moved to touch them.
Spoiler:
Just before she did, she stopped, as if she had lost her train of thought. Suddenly, she got the urge to leave, which was odd, since before she had been insistent on...she couldn't remember. Something about Leila, but she wasn't sure what. Something very strange was happening here. Despite her convictions, however, she decided that it probably was best to leave. Jasmine rose to full height, and began to move towards the door.
"Well then," she said "I suppose I'll leave you two alone, though considering Eli has been staring at you for the past forty-five seconds, Leila, I suppose it is against my better judgement."
"You can stay if you'd like." Eli said, a hint of desperation in his voice "I have more hot chocolate." Jasmine realized that something was off. Eli hadn't been looking at Leila, he had been looking past her. His eyes had a look of confusion and bewilderment in them, and he appeared to have a headache. Jasmine closed her eyes, and a chill went up her spine. Of course, Eli could hear what was going on in Leila's head. How had she forgotten that?
"No really Eli, I must be going." Jasmine replied, taking out a business card with her name and cell number on it "My card. Call me if you need anything worth my attention." Are demons worth your attention? Eli wanted to say, though he found it against his better judgement. Jasmine could not be dissuaded, however, and so she made her way to the door and exited the dorm into the hallway, hoping to find something more interesting to do.
Eli was still hearing the voices, and it was beginning to scare him. There were six voices that he could hear, all with sinister, serpentine voices, as if a brood of vipers had learned to speak and were now chattering away in his mind. And, what was worse was that they appeared to be speaking to Leila:
Making a very poor impression on your hosts, Leila. Why don't you be more sociable? A little more comfortable in your own skin?...Leila. You're ignoring the real issue. When this voice spoke, it roared louder than the others in his head, as if it were the voice of a dragon. She knows your secret. It is a matter of time until everyone else does, as well. You either end this tonight or not at all...This doesn't have to end in blood, Leila. There are lots of more enticing things it could end in....As much as you want to?...You're a bad liar, Leila... Eli then realized that they were alone. He began to get slightly nervous. This was not a very favorable position to be in, especially with a girl so beautiful.
"Um, I'm sorry if you caught me staring." Eli said, his voice shaking a bit "I just...i don't know. It's strange, as if I keep seeing things out of the corner of my eye in your direction. I'm guessing it has something to do with your power, but I won't, um, press you on the matter if you do not wish to talk about it. I know that some, um, girls don't like talking about their powers." Eli was going to stop there, seeing that he had embarrassed himself enough, but his mouth seemed to be moving independent to his mind.
"By the way." Eli began once more "Do you...hear something odd? I keep hearing something kinda...weird." At this point, Eli was practically beating himself up. You idiot! he yelled in his mind You just told a very hot girl in your dorm room that you're seeing and hearing things! Do you know how f*cking weird that sounds?! She's gonna think you're a freak! This was why Eli was not trying to press Leila about her powers. These abilities seemed painful and torturous, and he didn't want her thinking that he thought she was a freak. The voices were really pissing him off, though, and he was beginning to get a headache. He thought of something though; he was fairly sure that these voices were demons, whether they were with Leila or not, and maybe if they were demons, then his powers would work on them. He didn't want to begin shouting prophetic statements of the Lord, but Eli clasped his rosary tightly in his pocket and thought to himself, as if trying to direct his voice at the demons.
"SILENCE, SATAN!" he thought "I AM A MESSENGER OF THE LORD, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, THE GOD OF JACOB! BY THE POWER OF THE GREAT I AM WHO AM, I SILENCE YOU!" As Eli said the words, his eyes began to glow ever-so-slightly, as if he were looking into a burning fireplace, but there was no fire. He doubted that this would expunge the demons, but maybe it would scare them enough to shut them up for a minute or two.

Perfect. Jasmine and two newcomers have gone off to the dorms. Which could be a long and pointless endeavor. Especially if they're... Eh. Best that the pair does work opposed to complain about it. Rush bowed his head over and thought about how they could find Jasmine. He gently put his right hand on his chin. Perhaps hack the security cameras? Rush could easily do that. "Affirmative..." Rush says. But he felt the need to say something. He could tell it was a touchy subject. He didn't know why, but he knew that he shouldn't ask at all. Whatever it was, it was between him, and Jasmine. "Apologies. If touchy subject." Rush stopped to look around, before continuing, "She is. Imperative. Yes. Imperative. To our operation."

This was actually what Rush wanted to hear. Righteous disdain and distrust for the headmaster. Which meant that he was probably likely to join him. He didn't know of Neal's skills or power, but he was a start. "Oh? Would you join us? Need all the help we can get. Can't do this alone."
"... I would keep it down." Ray just snaps after Neal spoke. Since he was still a bit annoyed about the risks of recruiting Neal. He quickly looked around, before setting his gaze on a camera pointed directly at them in the distance. "Don't know who could be watching..." He had no idea if it could record them talk or not. Nor did he care about the implications of vandalism. The camera suddenly afflicted by a very strong pull. The camera was pulled more and more until the entire thing came off of the wall. Thus destroying the camera. Which did nothing but serve as a stress relief for Ray - It more was more detrimental than anything. Someone was bond to come and investigate. "... We should go now. Neal, if you're going to work with us, then come on." Ray started walking towards the dorms, if they were going to find Jasmine, then they'd best do it there.

"Right." Jake says, leaning back in his chair. He had thought that Ene would say something that'd get a conversation going. But no. He has to do that himself. Perhaps continue that previous one...? Eh. Hm. Something like that would work. Maybe he could get to know Ene and maybe she'd get to know them. Or just him. Jaska was pretty much just a third wheel for Jake's interactions at this point. "So, really hope that you're not too freaked out about what happened earlier...." Jake peered at Jaska for a moment. Jaska looked like he was ready to to dart off at the first thing that has his, but was restrained. "That just happens, you know. I've had my own share of... mishaps when I was his age..."

Ene sat down at the couch across from Jake and Jaska as Jake spoke, putting her feet in the extra seat on the couch (mostly to make sure no one sat next to her) and then turned to Jake to reply.
"Oh, no- It's fine. Not even freaked out, anymore," she lied a bit, there. She knew it wasn't Jaska's fault but couldn't help but feel nausea when she thought of the scene. She couldn't erase the memory, though, as it was all that was helping her to socialize with the two brothers. "I kind of had some mishaps when I was younger, too. Long stories for another time." She looked at Jaska, hoping he would feel better now that she said it and wouldn't run off. He was going to run off, right?
Ene then thought of a different subject: powers. A touchy one that some may feel nervous answering, but maybe it would be a good idea for them o know each other's powers. She could already figure out Jaska's was animal-like features or something, but he might have another power. Jake's was... Invisibility, maybe? She wasn't sure.
Ene took her feet off the couch to place her hands on her knees, facing them with complete attention. "So," She hesitated a moment, trying to think of the best approach for the topic. She thought of a way she thought would be most casual. If Jake knew manners- and he definitely seemed to know them- he would respond with telling her his power after she revealed hers. "If you would like to know my power, it's..." Ene felt another moment of hesitation. Some people wouldn't take kindly to her power- they might think she somehow manipulated them or something when she didn't. Ene forced out the last words, "Memory control." It didn't take long afterwards for Ene to add in afterwards, "But I don't use my power often."

Valery Arsov
Val waved a hand nonchalantly. "Bah. Never mind helping new kids. Well, I don't mind helping cool new ones. Sometimes I meet *ssholes. Sometimes they get wrong directions to classes. But I do not think we will have this problem, you seem like...straight shooter? I think that's the expression. His problem, I think I know. Just a guess, but I have been here a while. You see lots of kids who were only metahuman for miles around. Grew up being better than everyone else without any work. They come here, don't realize things have changed. Don't want to realize things have changed. School has their hands full dealing with hundreds of kids who all walk in the front door thinking they're Superman. Or Superwoman. I do not really bother being correct politically..." Val trailed off, his eye following a rather shapely woman who was passing by. He paused for a second, as if realizing the poor timing of what he'd done. "Eh. Most people here are pretty nice though, but you do get a few show-offs. Want to get in fights with their powers. Training is one thing. I love a good training session. Great way to make friends. But #ssholes who just start fights over nothing, well, they're pretty annoying. Thankfully, very few. This is a pretty good place. Don't worry about finding your way around, this place is like back of hands before too long."
Val drummed his fingers across his empty glass. "Well, I need to go p*ss. Nice talking with you Jesse-oh, if you really are my roommate, could you leave the door unlocked? I somehow lost my key, I'm not really sure how. Even for me, losing it on the first day is bad, eh?"
Leila Gabrielle Septim
Leila didn't reply to Jasmine. She didn't make eye contact. She stared at the floor, eyes occasionally flickering off to the sides, as if something had suddenly darted out there, and periodically rubbed her temples with her fingers, sometimes holding herself with her arms. Were she on the streets of a city, she could very easily have been mistaken for a junkie You are one, love, you just get your fix elsewhere.
Envy let out a sharp, high-pitched laugh-she was now dressed entirely like Jasmine, and Leila suddenly felt a vague, alien longing for that intellect Jasmine had displayed, the way she'd looked Leila up and down and, if what Greed said was true, learned so much...Yeah, darling, you get high on life. This is your brain, but THIS is your brain on drugs, and THIS is your brain on demons-
A business card? From a student...interesting. She clearly thinks of herself as an entrepreneur. Be cautious.
Watch for the boy. He's looking at you, and not in the way most teenage boys do.
They do look at you, Leila, don't they? Don't you just love that feeling, of walking into a room, and drawing every last pair of eyes to yourself?
And then Jasmine was gone. It was just her and Eli, and the demons began roaring again. Various suggestions of how to tie up loose ends, keep word of the crazy girl standing out in the snow from spreading. You deserve to start over, don't you Leila? Everyone else got that chance. Everyone else seems to be getting those chances but you, lately...
Not killing him.
Or-
Or...or that.
Leila, however, was not the least bit bothered by Eli's confession that he'd been staring at her, one, or two, that he'd been seeing things near her. Perhaps she wasn't apt to judge others, given her own vices, or maybe she was just too preoccupied with the especially heated debate that had exploded within her skull, seven different courses of action being offered, her own thoughts struggling to be heard amidst the chaos. There was really only way to calm things down...give into one. Then there was just one voice to listen to. And one voice, one voice wasn't so bad. One voice was manageable.
"I..." for once, Leila didn't need the demons to tell her how to lie, what to say. She knew that telling Eli the truth was a very, very poor choice. "I don't hear anything at all." she didn't make eye contact, continuing her disjointed stare across the room. While Eli may have been feeling tense and awkward, Leila didn't seem especially rattled. "I..."
And that was when Leila Gabrielle Septim closed her eyes and, for a split second, had all conscious thought shut down.
A summons? Feeling daring, are we Mammon? Envy purred.
The demons stood on a plateau of sorts, surrounding by an empty void. There was no need for an elaborate meeting place; they merely needed a moment's discussion free of Leila's eavesdropping. And, without the need for silly mortal constraints like time or thought, their palavering could take place in less than an instant.
Indeed. The boy has attempted to exorcise us
A deep, thundering laugh rolled out from Amon, something that sent a chill down the others' spines. He lacks the faith. Gabriel himself would be hard-pressed to cleanse her.
Greed conceded this point with a slight nod of his head. Perhaps. But, nonetheless, just as Leila carries our presence, so does he seem to have some sway over holy affairs.
Why are we bothered by this? He would need tremendous faith to uproot even one of us...assuming Leila was truly willing to be rid of us. She needs us more than she cares to admit. Just as a prisoner grows used to the walls around them, so will she be broken to be rid of us. She has forgotten how to live without us.
Thanks for the monologue, Lucifer. Gluttony muttered.
Go back to your flies.
Enough. What I propose is this. With Leila's total focus-and she has only been kept from rallying her own abilities due to her current, lovely, broken state-and this boy's help, there may be a slight chance of their undoing us. This, obviously, cannot be allowed to happen. Our goals may not be aligned with one another-
A politician's way of putting it. Envy said.
...but, regardless, we have a common enemy. My plan is this-let the boy think he's won. By gaining a false sense of security around him, she shall be that much more vulnerable to more...subtle forms of manipulation.
Lust tittered, a wild glamor in his eyes. Oh yes. I'm certainly on-board with this plan.
The others joined in with their agreement, aside from Sloth, who was sleeping during the meeting.
Excellent. Then we shall all leave Leila and her new friend be for just a little while. Opportunities shall present themselves in dear time. If not with this boy, than with the other.
Gluttony raised an eyebrow. What other?
Greed grinned wickedly, holding up a small room key. All in good time. For now, Miss Leila has found her own personal savior, the bane of her unholy oppressors. What a shame.
Leila opened her eyes.
The voices were gone.
Gone.
Gone.
GONE.
Her head was quiet aside from her own thoughts.
She was on Eli in a matter of seconds, her hands clenching his shirt and her eyes wide with shock, too happy to believe, but at the same time, it was quiet, it was peaceful, she...she could think and-"Wh-what? What did you do? What can you do? Don't stop it. I swear. I'll do anything. Anything you want. Just keep them gone, keep them out, oh God, oh Christ, I didn't think...wh-who..." Leila closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Well, he knew for sure, now, but she didn't care, she honestly didn't care, it was finally quiet, thank sweet merciful God it was quiet. "Oh my God. Oh my God. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you thank you."
Arianna Madrigal
Arianna was enduring something that was rather uncomfortable for her-and rather rare, as well. She wasn't the center of attention. The conversation wasn't going at her every whim...and she didn't like it. Normally, whenever she spoke, people listened. Guys seemed transfixed. Girls just gravitated to her. She had friends and got along great with people, she never had any trouble striking up a rapport-but here, it was like...
"Hey, it was super great meeting you guys but, um, I'm gonna go check on my roommate situation. See you two later!" Arianna said, trying to put more energy into it than she really felt. She waved cheerfully and turned to leave, only absentmindedly paying attention to the noise of the Symphony around her. Her feet fell in perfect time, and while she wasn't aware of it, her heart was beating in a perfect rhythm as well, but none of this interested Arianna. This...this was so unexpected. Why was she suddenly less popular? Had she said or done something wrong? She didn't even think tripping over that girl's leg had been that big a deal but apparently it was.
Arianna left the lounge, which was beginning to irritate her rather quickly, and sought out the reception desk just to go to room and relax for a little while.Yeah, that'd be good. Play the violin some, get her thoughts together. Just...first day jitters was all. Nothing more.

Jake V. & Jaska D. Valos.

There was a strange feeling creeping up Jake's spine after Ene revealed her power. It was... Something that shouldn't be told so openly. He did know that Ene was hesitant. Meaning that she knew the risks of telling him... But she probably should have told Jake her power after they got to know each other a little bit. Jake was going to make sure that Ene never touches him. Because the last thing he wanted was this girl changing his memories around - He doesn't know this girl at all. Jake nonchalantly coughed, and slid away from her on the table. Well, if she tried to touch him, he could intervene with his illusions. "That's..." Jake says, hesitantly, trying to find the right words to say, "... I see." Things were rather awkward right now. He was unsure of if he should tell her his own power.
Jaska had managed to listen in on to the conversation between his older brother, and the newcomer Ene, long enough to hear of Ene's power. He turned his attention from whatever, and quickly. Jaska quickly turned his head towards Ene, and talked about her power like he was completely unworried about his memories being altered, "Oh...? Cool! You can like erase stuff that you don't want to know about? Can you do it to other people?!" In truth, Jaska was mostly asking because he had memories that... He didn't want, basically incidents regarding his power. Jaska was completely unwilling to discuss his powers at all. All because of it. What he becomes when he hears those cursed words...
Amimoore Black Dellamorte.
"See ya." Amimoore says to Adriana as she walked off, waving to her as she left. Before turning her attention back to Len, Jaylin, and Kynan. She wanted to say something, but there was the feeling there wasn't too much more to discuss. She's already gotten Jaylin and Kynan to agree to train with her, and Len isn't much of a conversation. It'd be best if they end their conversation here, and move on. Amimoore did like Jaylin and Kynan they were certainly unique, Len, not so much. Amimoore put her hands together and looked at them, saying, "Alright, it was nice talking to you all, but I think I should get moving. I really hope we can get that training in, you two." Amimoore started walking away from them. She was hoping she could find someone else to chat with before heading back to the mansion.
Sage Lucas Pimm.
After a couple of quick leaps through the snowy school grounds, Sage finally came in sight of the Cafe. Sage stood on the edge of a adjacent building for a little, looking at the rather quiet building. Before descending by jumping down off the edge. It landed very slowly, as it's angelic powers allowed it to fall even the steepest fall, and not take a tiny amount of damage. Impacting the snow, it landed with a quiet sound. Sage quickly looked around, and started walking into the quiet cafe. It moved slow and steady, being careful not to trip over anything.
Spoiler:
The door made a quiet creaking sound as Sage pushed it open, and got a good glance at the cafe. Tonight, it didn't really have too many people since everyone was either in the lounge or in their rooms. That was what happens on first day, though. Tomorrow it'll be much more active. Sage didn't exactly want to approach or speak to anyone, due to it's own shyness. Instead it walked over to the counter, and bought some coffee to stay awake. Sage walked over to a table away from everyone else, and took sips out of it's coffee. It'll probably head back to it's room, and relax. Probably talk to Eli some more, if he's around.
