I think he's on vacation, or maybe on one of those inactive periods he sometimes has. Hopefully it's the former, and not the latter, because if so, then you're going to have to find a way around the lock.

Only way I can get around it is if we do a timeskip, as iris is taking a nap and Red was supposed to wake her up.

Okay, then. Let's do a timeskip for one day. That should clear everything up.

Okay, I'm reviving this, and this time, I'm posting. Maxx, prepare for Jack, Rachel, and everyone else to meet the chickens.

I'm going to talk to Maxx about having Iris search the mountain for Red, who will be waiting for her at the top.

Iris' Mogwai couldn't take Ghentisis Rex alone, so perhaps the Professor could send Rachel and Jack up there with Iris to take down Red, because he wont come down alone.

Also, the weather on the mountain is horrid. Blizzards, rain, and even a few sandstorms on the western side of the mountain make it perilous and difficult for not only humans, but Mogwai as well. This gives Red a bit of an advantage, since his Mogwai isn't affected by the weather. He is ominously immune as well...

Not exactly, Operator. Don't forget there are plenty of Mogwai with insulating fur, down, or blubber that keeps them fine. Reptile's scales would protect them from the sandstorms, and in the case of Sunspot, Rachel's smaller Mogwai, an internal flame would keep them warm. Don't expect Ghetisis to be the only Mogwai who is capable of handling severe weather patterns.

Regardless, someone is bound to notice the five people that stumbled upon the giant chicken.
