The Pride Days (OOC)

Well, Jali isn't unscathed. He's got several broken bones, and the number of deep wounds he has is pretty bad. If Tabari hadn't dragged him to the Brushland Clan, he would have surely died from blood loss. Even now, still high risk of infection, and the possibility that his broken bones don't mend properly. As I said earlier, hyenas can't set bones.

Still, it's rather improbable that a Hyena survives getting chomped.

Actually, Jali dragged himself onto shore, and he got hauled off by a Jackal.

Oh yeah. Sorry, thought Jali was a hyena for an awkward second. You didn't do anything wrong Vipera. I just think its a bit unrealistic for Jali to survive that.

Listen, sorry I didn't give much a warning, I understand that. However I was looking forward to an interaction between Jali and Gustave rather than a murder. I originally wanted Jali to attempt to convince Gustave that Saber was all bad. I even gave hints to that as in the line where it said the hyenas gathered around the edge of the hill to see what was going to be said and done.

If I was going to kill Jali, I would have done so myself in that post with another crocodile.

Jali fell and broke a few bones then got bit a few times by a croc. It's not that fatal Maxx, unless it would have worsened by some other factor such as if Jali moved around to much and broke his bones even more.

It's over, if there's going to be any further discussion on this it shall be in pms. Also, this plot is about to wrap up with this upcoming fight scene. When that happens an entirely new plotline will take place. In it I plan to have a drought hit most of Kenya, not only that but cubs and children will be a very massive aspect and family relations will have a large portion of the plot. We might do a timeskip for about four or five weeks, that way the battle is well past and Jali is healed more.

In the posts after I do the timeskip (after the battle) be sure to include what your character has been doing in the past few weeks. Generally it doesn't have to be much. Keeping to themselves, hunting, whatever you want. Just keep it real babe.

Yep. Zanita's trying to cheer Jali up, with a bit of wisdom, too. Like I said, she's reckless and crazy, sometimes, but she actually knows what she's doing.

I'm surprised that Saber hasnt used the wter to his advantage. After all, he has crocodiles on his side. You can take a good half of the Ridge pack's force out with them.

Yes but with his hyenas doubling the size of his army, Ridge Pride would have fallen easily to all 3 species in one enemy force. Ridge Pride has to have a fighting chance.

Alright, I hope Scar comes to Gustave soon. I'll have him find sympathy with her if she does.

Good idea. She'll disappear in the RP for a while, but then might make a later appearance after a few plotlines have passed.

Ah ok. That'll be alright. I planned for the timeskip to be of about 4 and a half weeks anyways. Also, I think it would be good if a few Ridge Pride lionesses managed to find a scent trail of Jali's blood and track him down to Brushland Clan. They should then be able to take him home. I want him to be able to speak to Star before Star's final death.

Sure, but don't be surprised if the hyenas start to panic, or a certain distraught Ostrich runs past.

Yes, indeed. I'm actually going to make a large clan of cheetahs as soon as we timeskip. Their leader will be a major aspect in a few subplots.

EDIT: I have also created the banner which is now on page 1. It's a bit simple, just a lion with the title. I'm going off to make some Cheetah and Hyena pics now. I'll keep an eye on the IC though.

Kay. I actually am going to have Kadir and Zanita have a bit of shared past. Zanita is actually old enough to be considered an elder among Lions and Cheetahs...it's perfect for inventing backstory.

Well, you need to have characters that rose to exceed the expectations of others.

Yes, this new cheetah character will have a large backstory. I've already started writing it in Microsoft word.
