| True, and the drought eventually will probably be severe. The Ridge Pride will be searching even in other claimed territories for food and it might come to the point where they have to move the entire clan.
Jali and Sira will have to protect that small bit of water hidden inside of their cave, and keep it a secret so their cubs can live.

| Yeah, but that will lead to problems, especially with Gamba, being the unpredictable creature he is. Jali may have trouble gaining his trust if he finds out that only Sira is getting water, when there are probably other lionesses who need to care for cubs. | |

| Ineed. However seeing Jali's character, he'd probably sneak a few of the cubs in for a drink every now and then. That might not even happen though if the pride decides to move in time. All of the prey in the land will be migrating for water, the pride will have to leave right when they do and some prey will probably leave asap. | |

| I guess the Brushland Clan, along with the Skystone Pride, will probably request if they can travel with the Ridge Pride. | |

| Yeah, but Jali might feel left out, Zanita and Kadir go way back, to when Kadir himself was a cub, in fact. I'm still surprised that Jali hasn't asked Zanita how old she really is yet, because her dark fur and behavior makes her seem far younger than she really is. | |

| Either way is fine, but even at the river the crocodiles should have noticed a sudden lack of water. So Gustave should mention something about it. | |

| Well, lets face it, Gamba feels uncomfortable with these negotiations. It seems to him that both Gustave and Taru are talking in a way that might provoke the other side into a fight. Trust me when I say that Gamba isn't a crocodile, but his support isn't a bad thing to have, considering that he possesses the best of two worlds. It's easy to gain his trust, but it's just as easy to lose it. | |

| Well, you can't blame him. He may have been rejected by all the prides, but you never know if maybe one of them accepted him at first, and then turned on him. A life like that is mentally traumatizing, and it's hard to trust people when you think they might hurt you. | |

| Yep, that seems to be the Crocodile's deal, although they don't really have to ask the lions to know what they want. | |

| Yeah, but Gamba might not approve of this. An I.O.U. can mean anything, and that's actually going to be something Zanita told him. | |

| I hope you guy know I dont plan on attacking any of you. Crocs are ravenous and opertunistic. They don't start wars or battles. Bu havig someone owe you is always a good thing. It's not always used for asking for something. It may be used to keeo someone from attacking you, or to entice them to befriend you to make you disregard te promise. The crocodile have everything they could want. Coming to attack tem would be suicide on every level because they'll just take to the water. You go tothem there and you wint last a second. They venture out of the river and you have every advantage. So why make a strategic move with malicious intentions with that drawback?
I just plan on doing what the Ridge pack needs, and then just keep moving. The drought will come, and so on and so forth, and if something like a fish shortage occurs, then can go to the lions to ask for help with food. Hopefully by that time the two groups would be allies or something.
But seriously, quit with the plans to fight the crocodiles. When I had Gustave say that they weren't their enemies, he ment it.

| Operator, don't forget how Gustave treated the lions. When he spoke to them, he repeatedly called the lions stupid and dumb. Gamba has fought crocodiles before, and as I said, he often doesn't trust people. He also happens to be very sensitive when it comes to insults. Just the mere act of insulting him or his new pride is enough to make him dislike you, and significantly decreases the chance of him ever trusting you. The Ridge Pride isn't planning on attacking unless the Crocodiles were lying in their bargain, and plan on doing something other than what they said they would do. You can't expect them to trust the crocodiles instantly, and the Lions don't know if Gustave means anything he says. It doesn't matter what the RPer knows, as long as the Lions don't. I know you probably don't plan on the fight, but the Lions don't trust the Crocodiles enough to let them come near their Pride without bringing in warriors to keep an eye on them.
Plus, Gamba has quickly developed a disliking for Gustave, simply because I gave him the aspect of my personality that hates being called stupid, or being insulted. If someone called me an idiot (Someone once did that), I'd be struggling to hold back the urge to pummel them for talking that way, and I don't even have the physical strength to do that. I was once called an idiot many years ago, and wound up getting beat up in the playground, because at the time I had not learned the restraint to keep myself from getting into such a mess. Even now, I still think I'm holding a bit of a grudge over it, because you'd think parents would teach their son not to beat up a girl, even if she was irritating.
In a nutshell, Gamba has that animosity that is awakened by insults, so he's ready to fight just because.

| The thing with it, is he really wrong? Crocodiles use the same tactic over and over again to catch wildebeest. You can read it or watch on nature shows or whatever you want to do. But they seem tk be able to do it over amd over again without having to change much. You would think mammals, being more intelligent than most reptiles, would learn.
I'm trying to incorperate Gustave's opinion on mammals based of how I've seen crocodiles feed.
However, I can easily see where you're coming from.

| Well, my main point is that Gamba has fought a crocodile before, and killed it, but not before getting hurt. He knows how to fight a crocodile, he knows that if he gets one away from water, all he has to do is somehow pin it down with his weight, and clamp its jaw shut. It's based on the fact that Tigers are capable of killing crocodiles without any help, and the belly of a crocodile is far less armored than its back. If Gamba had been hurt by a crocodile before, and the crocodile happened to think he would make a nice meal, then he'd hold a grudge against the species for it.
Plus, a Wildebeest isn't actually very smart to begin with, it's relying mainly on swarm intelligence, which means they just follow the leader. They graze alongside Zebras, and even then, the Zebras typically are more likely to know if they're being hunted. If that's the case, then the lions are probably more intelligent.

| I havent read anywhere that a tiger could kill a croc. Especially with the big size difference (Dependin on the gender and age of croc). If a tiger manages to clamp it's jaws shut, go into panic mode and death role outta there. I doubt they'd be able to keep a hold of the thing then. The big thing is looking at it realisticly. Gustve isnt going to know how intelligent a Wildabeest is. All he k ows is that he can do the same thing over and over again and still get food. Either way, its not worth arguing over. Lets move on. Any other plans? | |

| Mehahah!
And here's something to really laugh about. Gamba was all riled up, and then Taru complimented him, and now he's embarrassed.
