Vipera, just so I know, what can I expect with Layla's heatstroke?

Well, you actually did a pretty accurate portrayal of heatstroke, which is what led me to post that diagnosis, since that could be the only reason for her to collapse that made sense. Basically, the main symptoms are dry skin, a strong, rapid pulse, dizziness, and fainting. Although Layla may feel cramping in her legs, as well. I don't think she'll die, so long as they reach the river dividing Kenya and Ethiopia. I'm leaving when they reach it up to you.

Ok, I'm going to do several timeskips to help speed things up. If they took a rest for say about an hour and a half and then traveled the rest of the night, do you think they would reach their destination in time?

I would say yes, since they still have a river to cross, and would probably not want to settle their homes near the border. They would probably want to explore Ethiopia a bit, and look for the best spot.

I wonder what kinds of things they'll see, and what parts of Gamba's past are going to come up. He's clearly seen a lot of stuff, but the question is how he knows it.

I myself am quite interested in everything. And I think I'm going to bring a pack of Baboons into play which will be interesting.

I was actually going to do that myself, and introduce a group of Hamadryas Baboons that Gamba is familiar with, although the two know one another, and are not exactly hostile, it's still a pretty tense relationship.

Also, only, the Hamadryas, Olive, and Yellow Baboon can be found in Ethiopia, meaning it must be one of those three species. Hamadryas, though, are by far the most savage.

I know, I read the wiki on Baboons. Naus is just a bit sick in the head and has some brain damage due to past experiences with big cats.

I find the last few posts to be both amusing and serious at the same time.

Same here, that was perhaps the most difficult set of posts I've ever done. I can never do emotional confessions very well.

Same here really. Quite difficult for Layla to spit out all of that, knowing her. In a way, I kinda based Layla's personality on my own. Sira however, I knew that her being there to help would be much easier for Layla.

The last time I did something like this, was with Tharan, and that seemed much easier.

I've never done it before in a RP, so it's completely new. I based Gamba off of what I consider to be morally good, and his own beliefs are linked to the Bushido Code.

Love stories in RPs are actually a lot more fun than you'd think and they make for perfect character development. I saw a whole new side to some of my characters when I added in a little bit of it. But RP love stories need to be told right in order for them to really work. That part is really, just impossible to explain by me, but yeah.

For a few months now, ever time I come into an RP. One of my main characters falls into some love story, lol. Let's see... I have, Ariana and Lethor (from Color), Tharan and Bella, Salathos and Arstarthos (from Legends of Thirth if you remember that RP) and finally Layla and Gamba now.
