Nope, I don't know where you heard that, Lemurs don't live in Africa naturally. Madagascar is the only location where they are found.

Also, Made my third character, thus introducing the first cheetah pride.

Skystone Pride
Leader: Kadir
Location: Deep within a forest of acacia trees, in a clearing in which a large stone pillar stands, surrounded by fallen rocks.

Name: Kadir

Gender: Male

Age: 9

Species: Cheetah

Personality: In comparison to some species, Kadir might be considered young. However, among his own kind, he is actually a bit older than most cheetahs, but still retains a great amount of speed and power that makes him seem more youthful. Known for his great wisdom and strength, along with a deep bass voice that makes everything he says echo with power, and his handsome looks, many who do not know much about him are unable to guess his real age. It is because of these many admirable traits, along with being born into a line of rulers, that has made Kadir the leader of the Skystone Pride. Kadir is very responsible as a leader, capable of locating safe places for females to rear cubs, and finding ways to protect the injured. He is also very reasonable, and is often willing to negotiate peace or an alliance with other clans and prides. However, being protective of his own subjects, he remains suspicious of outsiders. Those who interact with him will not be treated cruelly, but crossing him is not an option.

Appearance: Kadir weighs about 160 lbs., and is about 7.7 feet in length from head to tail, measuring at about 3’1” in height at the shoulder. Although he is larger compared to most cheetahs, it is not Kadir’s size that identifies him as the leader of his Pride. Instead, he possesses a rare fur pattern, that of a ‘King Cheetah’. With this fur pattern, his main coloration remains a yellowish-tan, but his spots are far different in comparison to any other. His spots are much larger, and are a darker, more solid shade, almost approaching the size of a leopard’s markings, although they are not hollow rings. On his back, these spots fuse, merging into three stripes that run straight down his spine to his tail, which has thicker bands than a normal cheetah. The scruff on the back of his neck where the stripes go is completely the shade of the stripes. His face, however, does not appear to have any change in regards to markings, although the black tear marks beneath his amber eyes appear darker. Kadir speaks with a deep bass voice.

History: Kadir was destined to be a king from the very day he was born. However, nobody expected him to be such a good ruler, as princes were born into their role, and not chosen. He was also not expected to possess a rare pelt pattern, but he was born with one. Despite the strangeness of his birth, and the requirements he was required to meet, Kadir proved to be a good prince. He was outgoing and friendly, and had a good sense of humor. He was greatly respected by his Pride, and it was not long before he was able to do his father’s jobs for him, albeit on occasions he made mistakes. Eventually, though, Kadir’s father died, and he was no longer able to afford making mistakes. Upon his father’s death, a great change came over Kadir. He became more serious about issues, and his sense of humor, normally enjoyed by many, seemed to evaporate completely. Many state that some part of him that had been present while the previous king had been alive had died within him, and among the females, who pass their knowledge on to their cubs, it is believed that his heart has been torn, never to be mended. However, despite his more brooding personality, Kadir has always been respected, and has always looked out for his Pride.

Other: Kadir is a ‘King Cheetah’, meaning he has a unique coat pattern that can be distinguished from others.

Yeah, You can, so long as it's not overkill. I made the cheetahs because there weren't any.

The spots are larger and more solid, and they fuse into stripes on his back. It's a rare pelt pattern, and I put it there because it looks cool, and I also need to have my characters stand out from the rest of their species.

That looks beautiful, I've always wanted to have a pet cheetah or lion but he threat of having your face ripped off by those jaws is quite a bummer.

Again,

abnormally large hippo vs. abnormally large crocodile, that results in an evenly matched battle. They'll have to do a lot to get any advantage over one another. No point in rivals if one is always stronger than the other.

And yeah, a pet cheetah would be cool.

You need to be more specific, do you mean the big giant ones, or the normal, tiny ones?

Larger-sized ones. Not galapagos big, but still really big.

Yep, but hyena clans often outnumber most prides by a lot. Plus, the main hyena species in this is spotted hyenas. the other hyenas are of different species, and all of them are much smaller.

Also, I'm gonna miss Jali, he was a nice lion.

Indeed. But don't worry, Star is pretty nice. But I plan on having him die too in time. In the end one of the younger lions which I will enter will be made leader and he will be nicer and more understanding than the both combined.

Saber is going to die after a few more pages. Then his wife Nara is going to take over and she'll die in just like 2 pages after that. Then the River Pride will ***SPOILER***

EDIT: actually, I'm considering keeping Star alive a little longer now.
