Stepping into the Town of Stories
"The world will change this month... starting with this place. Welcome to Black Fall."
Hello there. Welcome to my RP, Black Fall: Stepping into the Town of Stories. Which is more of less a reboot of a certain RP, and is ripped off inspired by another certain RP. The basic idea of this RP (which is set in modern times) is that we'll be average people just chilling around the titular city known as Black Fall, except some of them have superpowers. Having some small adventures and etc. Until an evil bad guy shows up and shakes up their lives. Forcing them to work together to face him/her or work towards their own goals. This RP will be leaning on a full blown sand-box, except without the clusterfuckery and lack of direction of your sandbox. From what I'm planning this RP will be extremely heavy on character interaction and development. Finally, I plan on making a new bad guy plot, and etc.
This RP is a spin-off of the Roleplex smash hit: The Othergrounds Both RPs are set in the same universe, going on at the same time.
The Premise

The date is March 15th, 2015 A story set in modern times much like our own. For generations the town of Black Fall, Pennsylvania, had a secret that some of the inhabitants would die for than let the truth slip out. The secret lied within a wide range of individuals. Abilities as some may call them, have made these people superior to the average man in almost every way. Abilities that vary between snapping necks with a mind, or control over every force of nature. These people are called a variety of names, Mutants, Meta-humans, Freaks, Overhumans... and Gods themselves. In truth, these people are all over the world. The town of Black Fall has the highest concentration of these people in the world. All hidden within the native inhabitants of the town, and the tourists that visit the town daily. Anyone of these people could be one to the wealthiest down. Everyone of these people know the risks of revealing their powers to the public. People who have their powers revealed tend to disappear very fast. All official records and proof that they existed would disappear along with them. As far the world is concerned; they don't exist anymore. The story centers around a certain group of people (of various ages) all connected to each other in one way or another. Living out the usual ups and downs of their lives, attempting to fulfill their own goals in life. Until the merciless eyes of deceit, greed and corruption become interested with the thought of Meta-humans, and the cast is forced to fight for what they believe, or other goals.
Things to know about Meta-humans:

*_There is an effect between meta-humans that causes them to be subconsciously attracted to each other. A meta-human will be drawn to another and even shy ones will want to go out and interact with people they've never met before just because they're meta-humans. There's another effect where if one person becomes a meta-human that their friends and family will be far more likely to become a meta-human themselves. This has been dubbed "The Black Fall Effect" by the school due to a previous incident.
*_42% of humanity are now Meta-humans.
*_All Meta-humans have peak human states (strength, speed, durability, reflexes, etc)
*_All powers will start out weak, but over time as they train it will get stronger and evolve new usages and abilities. Remember: Creativity is the greatest tool in training. Think of that movie Chronicle.
*_There are very few "God-level" meta-humans. None our characters will be one of them.
*_All Meta-humans suffer from physical overexertion if their powers are overused.
*_Powers have something to do with an unidentified energy that surges through people's being.
*_Meta-humans are simply born randomly. No toxic waste or atomic derp spiders.
*_Their powers don't have to be scientifically accurate, but they have to make sense.
*_Most powers manifest between either ten years or twenty years. So most meta-humans are in their teens. There are some cases when powers develop far earlier.
*_ Now this is extremely important. Sometimes after gross-overuse of powers a meta-human may go through a phenomenon known as "Ashing". It's a slow process which a meta-human's cells die at an alarmingly fast rate, and is fatal 96% of the time. The cells will drop off the person's being like ash until they are nothing more than a pile of ash flowing in the wind. Powers will fluctuate during this time until during the last stages of life when they lose their powers and die. However there are rare occasions when meta-humans survive the process--- except with horrible consequences. The worst part is that most don't even know about the risk of ashing it unless told or seeing it for themselves.
Classes of Meta-Humans:

There are several different powers a Meta-human can obtain, each are categorized.
Super System: Meta-humans under the Super System class are the most diverse. Abilities under this class are abilities that enhance certain aspects of the natural human physical body to superhuman levels. Powers that fall under this class is Super Strength, Flight, Super Speed, Invisibility, Hardening Skin, Phasing, etc
Anatomical/Biological: Meta-humans under the Anatomical class have the ability to manipulate their own bodily tissues or bodily functions, without dramatically altering the original structure or function. Abilities under this class allow Meta-humans to alter their various tissues, or functions which can be enhanced at will. Whether it be changing the color of their skin, or growing new muscles. This class stands out from the Super System class, as the latter allows enhanced natural abilities. Powers that fall under this class are: Skin Manipulation, Muscle Expansion, Space-shifting, Cellular Regeneration, etc.
Elemental: Elemental types are easily the common type of Meta-humans. These Meta-humans have control over certain elements. Most under this class are able to move their element and utilize it in defensive and offensive situations. Often these Meta-humans are able to create their element, and some can even transform themselves into their element. Powers that fall under this class are: Control over fire, earth, water, air, plastic, dust, light, etc.
Cerebral: These powers have to do with the mind. These are common as the Elemental and Super System class Meta-humans. Most that fall under this class are able to do something with their mind or others. Powers that fall under this class are: Telepathy, Emotion Manipulation, Telekinesis, Memory Manipulation,
Energy: Energy types have a power that is related to Energy (Kinetic, Thermal, Electrical, Solar). Sometimes these Meta-humans can fall under the Elemental Class. These Meta-humans aren't as diverse as Super System or Elemental Classes, being able to use energy in their powers. Powers that fall under this class are: Kinetic/Thermal/Electrical/Solar Energy related powers, and force fields, lasers, etc.
Chemical: Chemical Types have a power related to chemicals that the body produces or external chemicals. Sometimes these Meta-humans can fall under Elemental or Super-System. These Meta-human aren't diverse as the Super System or Elemental classes, being able to utilize chemicals. Powers that fall under this class are: Pheromone Manipulation/Generation, Hormone Manipulation, Acid Manipulation, etc
Cosmic: Cosmic type Meta-humans allow powers related to Space itself. These meta-humans have powers related to comets, meteors, asteroids, stars, planets, nebula, quasars, dark matter, the sun, and the moon. Some of these Meta-humans have powers that'd fall under Energy or Elemental. Powers that fall under this class are: Solar Manipulation, Lunar Manipulation, Control over Space Rocks, etc
Spatial: Spatial Meta-humans have powers that relate to Time and Space itself. These meta-humans can bend space and time to preform various feats, or altering the natural laws of space. These powers do not fall under the Cosmic-class. Powers that fall under this class are: Teleportation, Slashing Rifts in time and space, altering distance and space/dimensions, etc
Animal/Plant: Animal/Plant type Meta-humans have powers related to the animal/plant kingdom. Whether it be control over certain animal/plants, transforming into an animal/plant or adopting traits from one. Mystical/Ancient animals also fall under this class. Powers that fall under this class are: Control over birds, transforming into a dragon, etc
Extra-Sensory: This class includes abilities that allow gaining information through unnatural means. Often this can include detecting people's emotions or seeing the past. These Meta-humans can often fall under the Cerebral class if their powers have to do with the mind. Powers that fall under this class are: Pre/Retro-Cognition, Emotion Detection/Empathy, Astral Projection, Etc
Power: This class involves Meta-humans who have abilities related to themselves or the abilities of other Meta-humans. Meta-humans in this class vary. Often their powers can be be taking/copying the powers of others or ampfliying powers. Powers that fall under this class are: Power Replication, Manipulation, Bestowal, etc
Other: Powers that simply don't fall under the above categories.
Bursting:

Bursting is a technique that all Meta-humans have the potential to unlock. Bursting is essentially the ability to expand a meta-human's abilities far beyond their natural limits using several different forms of the technique. Using Bursting, even the weakest of all Meta-humans have the ability to contend with the world class. These abilities are strong but extremely draining. After using a Burst most meta-humans will experience significantly weaker abilities, and a weakened physical state for a stretch of time. Excessive use of Bursting will trigger Ashing, which will result in slow and horrible death. It varies between each type of Bursting. Even though every Meta-human has the potential to Burst, it all depends on the power that a person has. No one can do any form of Burst off the bat. Some don't even know how to do it. Most of the time in order to Burst a person has to be pushed to their limits to expand their limits. So, desperate situations tend to unlock most bursts. Most Meta-humans who unlock their bursts only have access to one, with few being able to use more. Some can learn how to utilize their Bursts after unlocking them and know how to use them easily.
Lonestar/MrAllenJ Note: Try not to have your characters know how to use Bursts right off the bat. In fact, before you even consider having your character do one; ask me in PMs and I'll give my approval. You can however, allude to it.
These are the many forms of bursting:
*_Alpha Burst: Any type of Meta-human can unlock this Burst. The most simplistic out of all the burst. It is simply over driving and putting much energy into a single command. Whether it be an attack or a basic action. This is easily the shortest of all Bursts and most common burst out there. Most people can unlock this. This is easily the most basic of all Bursts. Using this Burst causes weaker abilities for a period.
*_Omega Burst: Any type of Meta-human can unlock this Burst. Easily the inverted form of the Alpha Burst. Instead of one powerful move, a meta-human's power strength is drastically enhanced far beyond their peak. In this state a single Meta-human are capable of feats far beyond their natural range. Easily this is more powerful than a simple Alpha burst. However, once someone uses an Omega Burst then they will lose access to their powers for awhile. At times this Burst is hard to control.
*_ Gamma Burst: A form of Bursting common for transforming Meta-humans and Animal Type meta-humans. This Burst is essentially transforming into another stronger form, which far stronger. Much like the Omega Burst. However, this form lasts much longer and sometimes is hard to control. In this state most Meta-humans will exceed their normal. When they revert back to their normal form they will be extremely exhausted, and may pass out.
*_ Delta Burst: Elemental, Cerebral, and Energy Type Meta-humans can often access this Burst. It is essentially a stronger version of the Alpha Burst. It is a large explosion of power that is impossible to control or direct. This can only be used for rather offensive purposes, since it mainly only destroys. This is easily one of the most unstable forms of Bursting. It can cause widespread destruction if not used correctly. After using this a Meta-human will go into a temporary coma and may cause injuries to themselves depending on the power.
*_ Zeta Burst: Any type of Meta-human can unlock this Burst. It is considered to be a weaker, yet more versatile form of Omega Bursting. Instead of bringing a Meta-Human far beyond their limits, it brings them straight to their apex. It gives them access to powers that they haven't even unlocked yet, and makes them stronger. This can be used longer than the Omega Burst. Unlike the other Bursts, this one only exhaust the user, doesn't weaken their abilities.
*_Theta Burst: A form of Bursting common with Elemental, Energy, Cerebral, and some Super System Meta-humans. It's the opposite of the Alpha and Zeta Bursts. Instead of a powerful attack or a stronger form of existing abilities, the user can create a barrier using, or strengthen their own defense that cannot be pierced with normal attacks. Once this shield fades the user will experience exhaustion and far weaker abilities for a period. However, this shield can be pierced by a strong enough Burst.
*_ Omicron Burst: Any type of Meta-human can unlock this Burst. A one in a million type of Burst. It can only be used once, afterwards it can never be used again. It causes powers to mutate and change into a different and often more powerful version. Such as a Pryomancer's fire may evolve into a different and more complex flame. Sometimes a Meta-human may get another ability all together, or expand their range. Often the side effects is the standard exhaustion and that they will have to learn how to use their new power after they burst.
The Setting: Black Fall

The town where the story takes place , Black Fall (Can also be spelled Black Falls). The town itself is located on both sides of a massive river, which technically makes it a coastal town. The river is at least two miles wide, and separates both ends of the town. However, the town is connected by three bridges (one of the bridges are made for pedestrian travel). These sides of the river have been given their own names, Old World Black Fall (Also called the Old World), signifying that this town has been here from the start which was developed from little to nothing in the old world, and New Black Fall, the part of town which was built on the opposite side of the river and is a fairly new location. The Old World contains mostly residential areas of the town and the main Political Buildings. New Black Fall contains the commerce and stores, including many concepts that'd be alien in an Old World Town, like clubs, malls and casinos. The town all together is forty-two square miles.
The town, is technically a city due to it exceeding the population of 2,000 (the current population of Black Fall is 8,759 people). However, it is still called a town regardless of how populated or large it gets. This town is a mash up between old laid back communities and high-scale cities, with ideas and themes from both. The town is densely populated, full of a wide variety of people of all shapes, colors, ages and personalities. This is a fairly popular town, it attracts thousands of tourists each year. One of the main reasons why this town is so popular is the enormous beaches. Each side of the river, pointing at each other are two enormous beaches that are usually full of people and are miles long. These two beaches are separated into smaller beaches--- But, without a doubt the natives of the town know that there are only the public beaches, and the private beaches for those who can afford to buy/rent them. These beaches are all beautiful.
Crime is low in Black Fall, though it is home to a drugs smuggling ring as well as a few petty gangs. Most disturbances happen at the local bars or at the East Side of the city with woman found prostituting themselves or drunks trying to hitch a ride to New Black Fall. However, there are horror stories from the law enforcement, sometimes a news story about locker room ghosts and bank vaults melting. Most people fortunately dismiss this as people wanting attention.
Decades back during the 1940's the town was much different, the town was merely a sparsely populated town, which was on the verge of death as new and young people left for the big cities and live out their lives in the more active parts of the town. That changed when rich people came to the town and turned it around. There were several large beaches, and the town had some pretty impressive sights. Which made it perfect for tourism. The town was built up into a vacation town where the rich and wealthy spend their time. Over time, the small village eventually became a town, then towards the 2000's it reached the point where it is now. Constantly growing and developing itself. With the helping hand of the powerful of course.
The city is also prone to rain as it's primary weather condition due to the high amount of humidity in the air due to the river and fog. The city has in the past been trashed by large tidal waves, and some of the dock areas flooded. There are now measures in place to ensure this is at least mostly prevented. Black Fall primary export at one time had been the fisheries, but this has slowed down in modern times.
These are the major locations of the city.
Old World Black Fall
The east end of town.
The Center Point: The very "center" of Black Fall. This is where the many Political Buildings are located such as the Town Hall, many Court Houses, The main police station, etc. This area is fairly small and packed together. Because of this, there are almost no residential buildings in the area. There is a near absence of tourists and people looking for fun. Other than the occasional drunk that has been arrested and trying to head home, etc.
The Northside: This is the also known as the downtown of the town. This is the area of Black Fall around the Center Point which is in the middle of the town. This area is by far the oldest in the town and has the most narrow streets with many unique shops portraying various cultural influences to the city. Some of the finest dining can be found in this area.
The Southside: The South Side is home to many industrial buildings along with two ports where many exports and imports are sent to and from the mainland. This is where many jobs are supplied to the people of Black Fall and the cause of most of the traffic across the three. The mainland is also home to more affordable housing with many suburban subdivisions and your usual chain restaurants and big name shopping centers.
The Westside; The West Side make up the west side of the city and is mostly a residential area. This area is towards the main exit and entry roads for access into Black Fall. The houses here range from middle class to low upper class and most of the schools in the city can be found here. Located closer to the edge of the town is the Boardwalk University. The university offers a variety of subjects having one of the world's finest marine biology courses but is also well know for its liberal arts study.
The Eastside: Black Fall doesn't have a slum. The East side is as close to a slum as the Town is going to get. The houses near the boardwalk here are in a state of poor upkeep and often home to those who are in the lower end of income. Most of the petty trouble in the city comes from this area. Many low end stores, strip malls and cheap convenience stores are on the corners here along with cheap women and cheap drugs.
New Black Fall
The west end of town.
Nightlife Aisle: Easily the most active part of Black Fall is the Nightlife Aisle. This area contains some of the best clubs, casinos and other night time fun out of anywhere in Black Fall. This area is also has extremely high in prostitution and drug dealing. The Nightlife Aisle is obviously for adults, anyone who looks underage will be immediately questioned by well-intended party-goers and police. 70% of the time they'll be told to head somewhere else.
The Northlands: The Northlands is among the richest areas of the city and home to the richest and most powerful people in the town. Towards the heart of New Black Fall the houses get bigger and towards the beaches houses become condos. Many fine dining places can be found spotted throughout this part of the city spreading from the beacon along with more expensive retail outlets. Inside of this area is the All Fathers park. A park which there's a statue of every president ever.
The Southlands: The South Lands is the smallest part of New Black Fall. Containing several mansions, some of which belong to the best of the best--- Also, the most elitist out of Black Fall. This area is exclusively residential, there are no stores. This area is fenced off and only those who are approved are allowed in. So, this area is mostly desolate aside from when people decide to throw parties.
The Carnival: On the beach of new Black Fall contains the Carnival Pier. An enormous Pier, full of all types of attractions and games, food and drinks. On the other side of the pier was a beach. The entire carnival is always flooded with people. If someone wanted to they can be offered literally a thousand places to hide. The Carnival is active during both the day and the night. However, at night is when the place really gets active. With the light being seen from miles away.
Other Locations of Note
Beachlands/The River: The name given to the enormous stretches of river beaches that is one of the main attractions of tourism. Looking into the river are various beaches that either require to be paid to get in (are easily the average kind of beach). The free beaches that are crowded, full of people and dirty compared to the other locations. Finally, there are the private beaches who are only accessible to the rich and/or rented by people who can afford them. These are easily the best beaches out of all the Black Fall beaches. They're always snuck into by savvy people by either the water front or simply climbing the fence. The River is a very wide river that has small boats/yachts going through it, occasionally a larger boat can be seen roaring through the river front.
Woods: The woodlands that surrounds Black Fall on both sides of the river. It's a thick and dense wood, yet easy to maneuver. There's a park or two centered in the woods.
The Three Wise Men: The three bridges that connect the two parts of the town on each side of the river. Named after the three wise men in the Bible. These bridges are average suspender bridges, with thousands of cars traveling on and off of them daily. In between the two bridges that offer roadside travel is the single thin pedestrian bridge, that has crowds of people almost all the time and some vendors offering cheap and nasty food.
The Black Fall: The reason why the town was named Black Fall. This is a large cliff overlooking the ocean, technically on the Old World Black Fall side of the town. This cliff was a means of ancient execution during the mid 1800's. Criminals of heinous enough reputation were tied up and thrown off the cliff into the ocean. Since the cliff was over some rocks, death was certain. In modern times this is considered a historical location. Containing a statue of the man who founded the village at the center. Surrounded by chairs and tables. It also has some chess tables built into the design. The cliff is fenced off and secured enough so that there aren't any accidents.
Rules and Notes

1. The usual rules; no mary sues, godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, being a CENSORED in general, etc. However, I trust that you all not to be douches. I will boot anyone without mercy who repeatably breaks these rules.
2. What I say goes. I hate for it to be that way but I have the full right to deny any character, tell you to retcon any event, and tell you to stop doing etc. Don't like this, then don't join.
3. Characters will die in this RP. If you don't like that then don't bother joining. That said. People are allowed to kill each other, provided no one does it for stupid reasons nor goes on an rampage. Don't make me regret this, use this responsibly.
4. Swearing, Drugs, Alcohol and sex are all allowed to an extent. Don't go overboard and I won't yell at you. I won't allow sex IC-side, fade to black or etc. Just be mature, dammit.
5. I want "average" characters more or less. So no serial killers or teenage geniuses. Gun for the “average mix”
6. Literacy, plox. I expect a paragraph each post, though in some cases it'll be totally okay to make a smaller post. Enormous and detailed posts are nice too.
7. No "evil" characters. I hate the term now. You can have a character with slightly twisted morals, a skewed look on the world, etc. Try to keep it natural, please. I REALLY want conflict in this RP.
8. Everyone needs weaknesses just like they need strengths. I'm not just talking about powers. Think of skills, mental and physical strengths and weaknesses. Like the cliche strong but dumb. So don't make the strongest, fastest and smartest character or I'll tell you to go CENSORED yourself.
9. You can have as many characters as you think you can handle. It's encouraged to have a wide and diverse cast of characters. If it gets to a ridiculous amount, however; I'm going to say no.
10. If you've lost interest in the RP or don't want to do it anymore; please be a dear and say so. It won't hurt my feelings or anything. Just that it's annoying when everyone gets caught up waiting because two characters are having a conversation and someone disappears for an X amount of time. If by any chance you disappear or don't want to do the RP anymore; I'll control said characters until it is appropriate to write them off. It'll usually be death by snu snu.
11. Literacy, plox. I expect a paragraph each post, though in some cases it'll be totally okay to make a smaller post. Enormous and detailed posts are nice too.
12. Read the rules. Don't be an asshole and just make a sheet. That's why I'm mentioning this here. On the sheet leave the "Favorite Color" blank or I'll tell you that there's something wrong with your sheet and not tell you what. Don't be the tool who does.
13. Try to keep things believable, please. No dodging everything, no instant kills, or anything in that nature. Also, show shock when it's appropriate.
14. I'll allow any power as long as it isn't unreasonable nor BS. Even the generic and boring ones. The more creative the better. Time Travel and Mind Control are immediately out of the question.
15. I also hold the full right to tell you to change/limit your power in any way I feel like.
16. Keep the mutant NPCs to a minimal. You can make any NPC you desire but if you want him/her to be a mutant PM me about it and I'll give my expert opinion. Of course this will be null if you plan on making this NPC a character.

19. If you like you have the option of hiding your power from the other RPers. Which means you can cut out the power section of your sheet and send it to me via PM. It'll be a bit interesting for some. Heh.

Name: Daniel Krazinsky Nickname/Alias: Warpig Gender: male Age: 30 Height: 6’3” Weight: 320 lbs
Appearance
Hair Color: light brown, black on the end Eye Color: black Ethnicity: white Physical Appearance: Daniel is an interesting character appearance-wise due to his mutations. He is of monstrous build, with quite the pot belly. His arms are massive, though most of the bulk is fat, and his legs are like tree trunks. There’s a running joke that he had to get his chopper modified to support his weight. His face is the creepiest thing about him. His eyes and forehead are normal, but most of his face is taken up by a large pig-like snout. A gold nose ring is on the end of his snout, like a Minotaur’s. His mouth is very wide due to the nose, and in the corners of his mouth he has thick white tusks, like a boar’s. His ears are long and pointy like a pig’s, and are topped with black tufts of fur. He wears his hair in a mohawk atop his head, which is several inches high and tipped with black. This mohawk continues down to where his skull and neck conjoin in an almost mane-like manner. Daniel’s hands have rather stubby fingers that end in strange, claw-like nails that take up the entire tip of his finger, but are not sharp. Imagine, in a really screwy way, if all ten of your fingers were tipped with tiny rhinocerous horns. That’s the best way I can describe it. Daniel’s feet are actually cloven hooves, though when he walks or runs he wears a sort of plastic artificial foot which goes around his and allows him to walk and run normally. Daniel is also covered in a wide array of tattoos, especially on his arms, though he looks nothing like one of those tattoo freaks that have everything covered in ink. The one that probably stands out the most is the tattoo on his right shoulder, which is of an Aztec Sugar Skull with a hilted knife going through it from top to bottom. Under the skull are two roses and the words “In memory of Michael Krazinsky, 1950-2010)”. On Daniel’s right arm is a tattoo of a boar’s head from the front, with steam shooting out of the nose and red eyes. Most of his other tattoos are on his back and chest, which is really a collection of two or three different things with different meanings.
Attire: Daniel wears pretty much the same thing every day. On an average day, he wears a tee shirt for some metal band, over which he wears a black leather vest that on the back has a visage of the sugar skull from his arm. On his hands he wears a pair of fingerless leather gloves, and on his legs he wears a pair of black jeans. On his feet he wears a pair of black biker boots.
Personality
Hobbies/interests: Warpig enjoys working on cars, as well as riding his bike and playing music obnoxiously loud. skills: Well, Warpig is good with cars, and has a good sense of rhythm, making him very good at the drums. He is also a very good trick driver, and can drive very fast while at the same time being able to control where he's going. He is also good at cooking, especially spicy foods. goals: Warpig is a simple man hidden under a hideous personality. While it seems like all he wants to do is terrorize people, Warpig just wants to get some money so he can open up his own barbecue restaurant when he's done having his fun and smashing things. Hair Color: dirty blonde Eye Color: violet Ethnicity: whitie Physical Appearance: The Watcher is a man with a medium-sized build; he looks rather skinny in spots, but is covered in strong, wiry muscle. His fat content is extremely low, and he as an almost perfect muscle tone from working out so much. His face is very angular and hard, with bony cheeks and a slight cleft chin. He is always clean shaven. His right cheek has a red scar on it which stretches from just above his eye to the base of his neck. The Watcher's blonde hair is always slicked back with hair gel to make it look all pretty, and is cut short. He is rather barrel-chested, but not to an overly noticeable fashion. His eyes and nose are covered by a mask that I'll explain in the attire section.
Attire: The Watcher always wears the same thing; a long black trenchcoat that comes down to half calf, and grey trousers, as well as shoes that look like loafers but are covered in grooves on the bottom for traction. Under the coat he wears a white shirt with a black tie. On his face, The Watcher wears a silver eyemask made out of metal, which comes down to the bottom of his nose to protect it from being broken. The mask is held on with a sticky glue-like substance, and a film over the eyes make them glow purple so that facial recognition won't work on him. I'd tell you what he looked like when not in uniform, but I'm still recovering from the last gunshot, and I don't want to get shot again.

Hobbies/Interests: The Watcher doesn't have fun. He is driven on by the lust for a peaceful world free of crime and violence. Skills/Talents: The Watcher is a really good shot, and is good at puzzles. He is also good at playing piano. Goals: The Watcher wants to fix the problems in American society. Okay, here's my character sheet. Please note that the Omicron burst I want to give her is mainly in the future so that she can get around easier on land, being confined to water for the entire RP doesn't sound fun. The text is odd because for some reason that's how it showed up when I copied and pasted it.

Physical Appearance: Capri Gerald hardly looks as though she were once human, her mutations so extensive that they have completely changed her form. In appearance, she strongly resembles a Frilled Shark, having a long neck, torso, and tail, which can move and bend with snake or eel-like flexibility, although her body is visibly much more muscular than the traditional creature, and during swimming it is typically kept straight, like a barracuda’s. Where she used to possess arms and legs, are now extremely large fins. Although much of the original bone structure still remains, the radius and ulna of the arms, and the tibia and fibula of the legs, have fused together to form single strong bones. The joints of the fingers and toes (Excluding the thumbs on the hands) have all fused together, and lengthened to form large disc-shaped sails. Much like regular fish fins, the bony sails are connected by a membrane of skin, which is surprisingly strong, despite being thin. The leg fins and arm fins are separate from one another, and form rounded shapes. Due to the elbow, knee, shoulder, and hip joints, these unique fins can be used for various forms of swimming, or even (a poorer form) of moving on land. Also present with a similar rounded shape and form is a dorsal fin between what used to be the shoulder blades, and an adipose fin where the lower part of the back once was. The lower portion of Capri’s body is relatively flat, allowing her to swim close to the bottom of whatever body of water she is in. A heterocercal caudal fin exists on the tip of her tail, the upper lobe of the fin being longer than the lower one on the fork, and it is also more fish-like, lacking the flipper-like shape of a regular shark. Sharp barbs located on the outer edges of Capri’s fins make grabbing them dangerous, as they can cut regular human skin with ease. Capri’s face, just as the rest of her body appears, seems to mostly be that of a frilled shark. Her head is broad and flat, with a short, rounded snout. Vertical, slit-like nostrils are on the sides of her snout, making her nose more prominent. On her neck, just behind her head, she has six pairs of long gill slits, with extended gill filaments that give them a frilly appearance. The first pair of gill slits meet just below her chin, forming a collar. Her jaws, in general, are extremely large. Her lower jaw is slightly larger than her upper jaw, which accommodates the extremely long, needle-like teeth, which resemble a viperfish’s and overlap much of her upper face when her mouth is closed. This first row of teeth is not thin, however, and the needles appear to be rather thick, suggesting they are stronger. Behind this first row, is about three hundred rows of smaller, sharp teeth, which have barbed-like appearances and also resemble the frilled shark. Despite the length of the jaws normally making the bite weak, the muscles of the lower jaw are extremely prominent, indicating Capri has mutated a stronger bite than species. The eyes are perfectly round, and are extremely large, being located on the sides of the head, and closer to the nostrils, making them closer to the tip of the nose. These eyes are black, but immediately reflect even the smallest amount of light, resulting in what appears to be white pupils, giving Capri a dead-eye sort of appearance. These eyes have a nictitating membrane which is milky in appearance, but is still transparent from Capri’s perspective. Her skin is extremely thick, and also like a normal sharks, rough like sandpaper when stroked in the wrong direction. Her entire body is colored a shade of khaki brown, except for small black rings that surround her eyes and streak down her snout. These markings reduce glare, and enhance vision. Light blue bioluminescent dots form two lines down the sides of her back, just below her fins. There is also a similar, larger dot behind each of her eyes. When swimming in the water, these markings can sometimes be seen from the surface. She speaks with a thick southern accent and dialect.
Personality
Innate Personality: Capri Gerald has very little to think about in her life that would relate to a normal person. Due to her mutations, she is largely confined to bodies of water, although she is still capable of breathing air as easily as water. Trying to survive in an aquatic environment, she hunts down prey and eats it, just like a regular fish, and hides from the only creatures that could pose a risk to her safety: humans. As a result, she is largely nocturnal, resting on the very bottom of the lake, river, or ocean she is located in, as no predator in the natural world, not even a Great White, can defeat her in a fight, so therefore she doesn’t worry about where she should sleep. During the nighttime, she often goes closer to the surface to hunt, and occasionally to just enjoy things that aren’t present deeper in the ocean. This is relatively easy, as Black Fall has multiple bodies of water surrounding it. The issue, however, is that humans occasionally spot Capri for brief moments while she is hunting. As a result, she has become an urban legend that goes by the name of ‘Frillerfang.’ While Capri rather likes the name, she dislikes what happens when people believe she is real. Fisherman and divers of all sorts try to investigate, fisherman trying to catch her with fish hooks and traps, and divers looking for photographic evidence that is better than what is already present. So far, the only pictures people have gotten of Capri are when she is swimming in deep water, with her blue lures shining in the dark, and evidence presents itself in the form of completely wrecked cages. Capri regularly runs into issues caused by these ‘Frillerfang Fanatics’, and often has to closely identify fishing lures, as well as avoid or mangle any traps set out for her. Divers are relatively easy for her to avoid, as to swim at night, they need a bright light to see, and Capri is better than a regular fish at knowing to avoid it. Generally peaceful, however, Capri doesn’t attack humans, and focuses more on avoiding them. They don’t realize that their Frillerfang was once a human, too.
Outward Personality: Capri generally seems to have something wrong with her on a mental level. By no means is she less intelligent than the normal human, in fact, she is actually smarter than average. However, despite this, she has very poor social skills, both naturally, and because her terrifying appearance frightens people into thinking she is a monster. Because of this, she doesn’t understand most forms of humor, and typically takes most compliments as insults, instead. Unable to identify sarcasm as easily as others, but aware of the concept, she sometimes believes people are sarcastic, and becomes offended, even if they are being serious. As a kind of fish herself, Capri has opinions on what is done in the oceans, rivers, and streams around the world, although she specially focuses on where she lives. Capri does not oppose fishing if it is for food, but greatly objects to fishing for sport that involves making the fish into a trophy, or catch-and-release, seeing reeling in fish just to kill it so its carcass can hang on a wall, or so you can set it free with a wounded lip or throat that makes it hard to eat, as a form of torture and injustice. Capri felt this way even before she mutated, but her new form reinforces the opinion, as people who seek to catch her and turn her into a trophy disgust her, though not all Frillerfang Fanatics wish to do this, as they merely want to prove her existence, and wouldn’t want to kill what could be the only member of its species. As a result, Capri sometimes allows people who don’t intend to harm her small appearances of her blue lights, but completely avoids pro anglers, whom she can usually tell apart from friendlier people by the way the talk or act (she spies on them sometimes). She hates anything that involves dumping factory wastes in bodies of water, for obvious reasons, as it is very similar to messing up someone’s house and expecting them to just deal with it, because normal humans don’t live underwater, so why should they care if the fish have to live with the fish equivalent of human smog and nasty air? Overall, Capri is likely to object anything that might harm fish.
Hobbies/Interests: Capri’s main hobby is spying on anglers, namely to see what their intentions are.
Skills/Talents: Like a flying fish, Capri is capable of propelling herself out of the water with her powerful tail, and using her large fins to glide for long distances, although she rarely does this, as doing so risks discovery.
Goals: Capri’s main goal is to evade capture by humans, although a secondary aim is to motivate people to stand against fishing that excessively harms the animals, or what she believes to be cruel to marine life.
History/Bio: Capri grew up being raised by loving parents, who encouraged her to do great things, and also established a strong set of moral guidelines for her to follow. Growing up, Capri had a special focus on animals, and because her grandfather was a rather generous hunter, she often ate so much lean deer meat that fat-rich beef tasted wrong. Because a large number of her family members were largely country people who lived in the middle of nowhere down south, and she frequently visited them with her parents, Capri doesn’t act or talk like a native to northern states, using a genuinely thick southern accent and dialect, and also taking extreme pride when she confuses people. This she enjoyed doing, and would always happily recall being taught how to do things most people found gross, such as gutting animals like squirrels, or eating swamp cabbage or alligator tail, or some other animal. When she began to mutate, and apparently turn into a fish, her parents immediately took measures to protect her. They released her into the rivers of Black Fall, and then reported their child missing, as though she had been kidnapped while playing outside. The only people who were aware of what really happened was Capri’s loyal family, who talked about it amongst themselves, but effectively pretended that they believed someone had kidnapped her and murdered her. As the investigation was closed years ago with no culprit, Capri is legally dead. She does visit her parents regularly, however, as they take regular trips to secluded areas by the river where she will not be spotted.

Power: Capri is essentially a gigantic super fish. Although her body is similar in appearance to a Frilled Shark, she has none of the weaknesses that the creature possesses. Designed to swim quickly underwater, Capri has the ability to lock the knee and elbow joints in her fins so that they remain straight, without cutting off blood flow. Capable of making fast turns in the water, or even floating in a single spot and swimming backwards, Capri is highly maneuverable in an aquatic environment. Able to move at a top speed of 40 miles per hour underwater, and going up to 50 mph. in a short burst, she exceeds even the fastest swimmers (Olympic swimmers on average can go a little over four miles per hour). As a result, it is practically impossible to fight her if you are swimming, or are too close to the edge of the water. With extremely muscular jaws that exceed the power of a normal Frilled Shark, and more strongly deliver bite force equivalent to about 2000lbs per square inch at full force, and powerful teeth that are harder than iron, much like a rat’s, Capri’s bite can effectively rip apart steel mesh cages used to capture her. Her enormous, powerful teeth make trying to rip free from her bite extremely risky, without an enormous, gaping, near-fatal wound resulting. A single blow from Capri’s tail can kill a normal human being, and the edges of her fins are tipped with sharp barbs that can cut through skin with ease. Her skin is remarkably thick, almost more like a honey badger’s than a regular fish, and as a result, sharp objects such as knives, swords, spears, teeth, and claws are rendered useless against her. Her skin is also like a shark’s in texture, being rough like sandpaper, and capable of scraping human skin if stroked the wrong way. Powerful night vision that allows Capri to see in almost absolute darkness, or through the murkiest water makes her a truly terrifying foe to battle at night, and her eyes cannot be harmed by thrashing prey, due to the milky-looking eyelids that protect them in a fight. The power to detect magnetic poles allows her to navigate north and south without needing a compass, and her powerful nose allows her to detect a single drop of blood per a million gallons of water. The same ability that allows Capri to navigate also allows her to detect electric fields that creatures naturally give off. With the ability to breathe underwater, Capri can sometimes defeat foes by holding them under long enough for them to drown. She is also capable of propelling herself out of the water using her tail, and, aided by her large fins, can glide through the air for a certain distance. This is not true flight, however, and Capri cannot steer when doing this.
Weaknesses: Despite being extremely strong, Capri has many weaknesses. Due to her sensitivity to electricity and magnetic fields, magnets and rare earth elements can often confuse or repel her, and she is by no means immune to electric attacks. Because of her typical element being water, she is also highly vulnerable to attacks linked to fire. She is also rather slow on land, and as a result, she cannot easily dodge attacks, or hit opponents because they can move far faster, most of the time. Because she largely has only her thumbs, she cannot hold or carry anything that is too much for those thumbs to handle. Her greatest weakness, however, is that, like many species of shark, people can instill tonic immobility by placing their hands on the sides of her snout, usually directly in front of her eyes. When this occurs, she will go still and will typically stay that way for about one minute, or longer, if they don’t remove their hands. This gives a small window of opportunity for people to attack her, although she is a lot less responsive than a true shark, which goes still for up to fifteen minutes. Unlike a shark in tonic immobility, Capri luckily cannot be killed by being held upside down in such a state, as she still has the ability to breathe.

Appearance
Hair Color: Bright Blonde Eye Color: Brown Ethnicity: Caucasian/American Physical Appearance: Sage is a gender-ambiguous adult in it's early twenties. It chooses to be an androgyne, and has traits from both girls and boys--- Mostly leaning on male. It has a very feminine feel about it, it has long, flowing hair much like girls do. It has a masculine build, some say that it's quite similar to the bodies of males younger than it. It has a high-pitched though boyish voice. It is fully aware of it's gender, yet it chooses to appear gender neutral. Most of the time Sage gets categorized into the male-variety. Sage is very thin, and has a very scrawny and underdeveloped. Like the very person. He has a bit of muscles on him--- Not enough to take it out of the weakling category. It's body-fat isn't visible on it's being. It also appears to be a few years younger than what it is. Sage has light skin, that is slightly tanned and covered in scars (none with stories). It also has an abnormally large amount of zits on it. Most of the pimples are on it's face. It makes it look much less attractive.
Sage has a wide-rounded face, with large, round cheekbones that are one of the first things that people notice about it's face. It's head is rectangle shaped, with an average sized chin. It's forehead is rather large, making up a good amount of it's head. It's eyebrows are right beneath it's large forehead. It has very large, and circle-shaped ears that are usually poorly hidden under it's long hair. It's ears will often pop out from under it's hair. Sage's eyes are thin, wide and look much like the eyes of those from the Asian Culture. They also appear to be very girl-like. Sage's hair is back-length, and bright blonde. It's straight and flows in the wind as it walks. This contributes it's girl-ish appearance. Sage has a small amount of body hair on it's being. Not a notable amount, there is some blonde hair on it arms and legs, with some hair arm pits. It also appears that it doesn't have any hair on it's chest. It's either shaved or was never there.
Attire: Sage's attire changes from day to day. It normally wears gender-neutral outfits--- Sometimes, people can see it wearing clothes for men. Other times it can be seen wearing the clothes of women. It's style is mostly no different than what people are often seen wearing in Black Fall. It needs glasses to see properly, so it can be seen wearing a variety of differently shaped glasses. It's also seen wearing a large gold-colored necklace, with a large diamond attached to the tip of it. Usually Sage keeps this hidden under it's shirt.
Personality
Outward Personality: Sage is often called "imbalanced" by It's associates. It is very nice and caring. Treating everyone it meets the same way it wishes to be treated. It speaks in a polite, soft tone almost all the time. Sage can be considered shy. Because of it's gender role, people have treated it much differently. It avoids approaching people unless it has reason to. Sage can be considered to be obsessed with love and everything related to it. Sage is pan sexual. It can be attracted to anyone regardless of gender and roles. While Sage can be a gentle person at times... It's romantic side can easily bring out It's ugly side. After it gets deeply involved in an relationship with someone it may start getting overly attached to the point of creepiness. It'll start to stalk his lover, watching him or her from a distance. It doesn't take break ups too well, either. It will send itself into a sprawling depression for months. Feeling like a complete nobody and wallowing in self pity.
Hobbies/Interests: Sage's interests include the piano, sandcastles, proper etiquette, the violin, the saxophone, extravagant period clothes, bees, and drama movies. Skills/Talents: Sage is skilled in yo-yo tricks, playing the drums, sculpting, singing, lockpicking, and cooking.

Power: Sage is the Angel of Light. There is a reason why it is called Heavensent. A light will come down from the sky and shine brightly around it as he transforms into it's angel form. After he transforms, a bright, shining Halo, made of light will float over his head. Wings made out of a pure, white light will appear on his back. These wings are covered in long and thick feathers (which are constantly falling off, disappearing and being replaced). When fully spread these wings are fifteen-feet wide and curved downwards. With these wings Sage can fly up to 120 miles an hour. Seemingly defy the laws of physics by hovering in air without flapping it's wings. Sage can control these wings just like it can control any other part on it's body. These wings are fragile. While Sage is in angel form any lights around him will glow much brighter than normal. As it fights and gets more desperate these lights will start to glow even brighter.
Outside of his angel form. Sage also has other heavenly and angelic powers. It can generate, bend, shift, focus, scatter and generally manipulate light. Using this power Sage can create virtually any light of any color and wavelength. It can also make light solid. Using this ability it can create virtually any weapon out of light. Sage's main choice in weaponry is a gigantic spear with a cross-shaped blade. It can also create blasts of solid light to impale or bruise foes. Using it's light manipulation it can turn invisible, create shields and create any light-based illusion. This is the only power that Sage can use while outside of angel form.
Sage's next power is his "Pure Mind". While it's in Angel form Sage will be immune to external corruption and will have near a infinite amount of willpower. Giving it the ability to consciously resist any form of outside influence. As long as It's aware of it; Sage is immune to almost all Cerebral (or powers that try to enter his mind) abilities. It's also resistant to drugs and will be completely immune to addiction. It's Pure Mind also gives it yet another gift. If Sage makes eye-to-eye contact with someone a white light will appear that can heal people of their emotional, mental and spiritual wounds. Putting the person back into their right of mind. It can also heal slight physical wounds--- They won't heal just as fast as the other kinds of wounds it can heal.
Sage can bypass the intangibility of untouchable beings while he's an angel. Instead of completely negating this intangibility, it can touch the person's "core" being. Allowing it to attack intangibles, without them even being solid. Allowing him to fight evenly against what would give the average meta-human trouble. Sage hasn't unlocked it's last ability yet. Essentially, it can teleport using beams of light. Sage can form light in between it's hands. Then it transforms into light itself and get to it's desired location. It can only form a straight beam of light. Which means that it can only teleport in a straight line. However, it can use reflective surfaces to travel further. This teleportation can be interrupted by putting an object bigger than the light in the way. Completely interrupting the teleportation.
Weaknesses: The light from the sky that gives Sage his power must reach him to allow him to transform. It can't go through solid objects or get obstructed in anyway or Sage won't be able to transform into an angel. If it goes indoors while in Angel form, it will immediately revert back to it's human form. This means that Sage must be out-doors at all times in or else it won't be able to access the full power it has. If someone were to place something above it; it wouldn't be able to use it's angel-form until the heavens are back above it. Sage's powers are the least bit stealthy, if it transform into angel form then it'll be immensely bright. The area around it will get bright as well. Sage's powers will also be much weaker during the night. If it isn't aware of anyone with cerebral powers, then they have free-reign to go into his mind and read his thoughts. Sage can only teleport one time every hour, and it can be very easy to interrupt. It'll save it's teleportation for the right moment. It can also be blinded by it's own light if it's not careful.

Hair Color: black Eye Color: brown Ethnicity: African Physical Appearance: Dante is a small boy, possessing a rather small build, though he could not be classified as scrawny. He has very thin, wiry muscle, and a build kind of like a runner. His skin is an even-tone cocoa color, and he has that sort of short black curly hair often worn by African-Americans. His face is very thin, with large lips, a wide mouth, and a wider than average nose. His eyes have an intelligent spark to them, and are comparatively small. He has very thick eyebrows and a wide forehead that is usually creased as if in thought.
Attire: Dante usually dresses nicer than your average street person, and usually wears some kind of headwear, as well as a tie or scarf. I suppose he can be called fashionable. A pair of brown leather and gold Skullcandy Aviators always sits around his neck.

Hobbies/Interests: Dante is a good artist, and spends a lot of his time with that. Hair Color: um...he doesn't have any hair Eye Color: black, with no whites or iris. Pure coal black. Ethnicity: Mexican, but his skin is a waxy dark brown Physical Appearance: Carlos' mutation has progressed to such a point that he can hardly be called human at all. Most people think he's some kind of alien, though at heart he is still human. He has a large body frame, and is covered in thick waxy plating like a scorpion's exoskeleton. Everything on him is covered in this plating, even his face. Speaking of which, his head and face don't look very human either. It is covered in exoskeleton, with a very wide human mouth lined with needle-like sharp teeth. He has no ears, only holes in the side of his head which are partially covered with armor. Carlos has two pairs of black, buglike eyes (like a spider's) which are above his mouth, and no nose. His lips are scaly and thin, and his mouth is usually in a wide evil-looking grin. Carlos has very wide shoulders, and muscular arms which lead to a pair of claws a little large than a human hand (boxing glove size). These claws are serrated on the end. Most of the rest of his body looks more or less humanoid; he has a wide torso, thick legs, and scaly feet. However, then there's his tail. The tail comes out at his waistline, and is also covered with exoskeleton. The tail is about nine feet long, and ends in a very large, very sharp stinger. When not in action, it is often curled up.
Attire: Carlos normally wears a pair of XXXL blue jeans with a tee shirt of some sort and a black leather jacket that has the same sugar skull picture as on Warpig's. Under the skull, the jacket says "The Skulls". Carlos normally wears a pair of sunglasses during the day, as the light hurts his eyes.
Personality
Hobbies/Interests: Carlos boxes and works out a lot with the gang. There's not much else you can do when you're a big ass scorpion. Skills/Talents: Carlos is adept at several forms of martial arts (not a master, but like a redbelt). Goals: Carlos wants to be accepted. His entire life he has been a freak, and he doesn't want that anymore. He either A) wants society to accept him for who he is or B) wants to destroy society and make a new one that will accept him. Abilities
Power Class: animal/plant
Power: Carlos has a range of powers all focusing on the scorpion. He is incredibly strong, and very bulky due to his tough exoskeleton. The skeleton is very tough and hard to break with melee weapons. You'd need to strike him between the armor or with some kind of crushing object to injure him through the plates. His claws are relatively small, but his immense strength combined with his claws' sharp edges can lead to some painful slashes that can do a moderate amount of damage. What you really need to worry about when fighting. Carlos' tail is massive, and has a 9 foot striking distance. He can strike at nearly 100 mph. His stinger is very durable, and can strike concrete without being broken. Carlos' venom is a nonfatal exotoxin, but still causes large amounts of damage. Not only can the stinger cause massive damage, but the exotoxin causes necrosis in the wound, keeping it from healing and possibly infecting the host with bacteria.
Weaknesses: Several things. Firstly, Carlos isn't very fast. He has an incredible amount of armor and only two legs, causing him to run rather sluggishly. He can't maneuver very well either. Carlos' exotoxin can be treated with some antibiotics, and large amounts of heat will kill the toxin (I mean like 150-200 degree heat, not a hot pack). Also, since his toxin is bacterial in nature, washing his stinger with some sort of antibiotic would kill the poison, however doing that without getting smashed by a stinger is the tough part (I do not suggest it).

Physical Appearance: Brigit, while still retaining mostly human features, has mutated to become more ant-like in appearance. Having a slender, hourglass figure, long neck and limbs, and weighing relatively little, she at first seems to be very delicate. This does not hide, however, her unique semi-transparent black second skin, which fits right over the first perfectly and seamlessly, with no segmentation, and shines much like the chitin exoskeleton of a bug, although it does not have a typical brownish cast. Through this second skin, the first is visible, and appears to be as white as paper, possibly because the second skin blocks out UV rays that normally stimulate pigmentation. On her back, her second skin forms stubs over her shoulder blades, and from beneath these stubs sprouts a pair of teardrop-shaped veiny bug wings that have completely transparent membranes, and iridescent greenish-silver veins that slightly resemble lace. Brigit’s face is oval-shaped, with a well-defined bone structure and sharp features. Her small nose and cherubic lips, however, soften her appearance and make it less severe. Despite this, her canine teeth are unusually sharp, almost like fangs. Her eyes are roundish-almond in shape, with emerald green irises that reflect light with a metallic sheen, similar to the compound eyes of some insects. Her eyebrows and long eyelashes are greenish-silver, which strikingly stands out. Her long straight hair, matching her eyebrows and eyelashes, is also greenish-silver, and falls to the middle of her back. Her speech pattern is extremely formal, often including the use of complicated words and phrases.
Attire: Brigit, having worn her original clothing to the point that it was only threadbare rags, wears clothing of an extremely unique nature. Because she is constantly surrounded by a massive colony of mutated ants that obey her commands, she uses them, or more specifically, their larvae, to make clothing. By commanding the ants to manipulate their larvae so that they secrete silk, Brigit was able to make them weave things for her to wear. Because the amount of silk larvae can secrete is limited, and they have to pupate without a cocoon, however, the only things Brigit currently wears is a pair of shorts that stop just above her knees, and a modest camisole. Both articles of clothing are made out of matching pure white silk with no ornamentation or seams, and are extremely sturdy. Brigit often goes around barefoot, seeing shoes as unnecessary.
Personality
Innate Personality: Brigit, despite not having had any sort of human contact in several years, is far from lonely. This is because, ever since she ran away from home upon starting to mutate, she has been constantly cared for by a massive colony of ants, which she has come to see as her friends and family, and with which she possesses a symbiotic bond. These ants provide Brigit with food, shelter, and clothing, as well as anything else that she might need. In turn, Brigit commands the colony, instructing them how to carry out various tasks, as well as defending them from harm, namely from discovery, as human interference frequently results in the death of potentially dangerous insects. Despite their amazing capabilities for destruction, however, Birgit ensures that her ants stay far away from human settlements, and that they don’t do anything that might give people a reason to investigate around the area where she and the colony live. Because of the mutualistic relationship Brigit shares with her ants, she has come to have a very strong view of nature, and how it is balanced and wonderful all by itself, without humans trying to change the way it is. However, because she was once human herself, Brigit largely believes that her mutations, as well as her symbiosis with the ants, are a form of human beings merging with the natural world. She also sees it as a unique adaptation to survival in a world where humans frequently extinct species due to their interference, as, with an intelligent mind commanding them, the ants are more likely to avoid detection and survive. She also has relatively no fear of insects whatsoever, and is rarely seen without a group of ants close by, or far away from her colony. Emotionally unstable at times, Birgit’s ants change their behavior to avoid offending her sensitivities.
Outward Personality: Brigit has relatively poor communication skills in regards to speaking to other people, due to a majority of her time being devoted to caring for her ant colony. Because of this, she often comes across as slightly disturbed mentally. Possibly having over time developed an undiagnosed form of emotional disorder that only seems apparent around humans, Brigit has days when she is rather calm and seldom panics or becomes angry, followed by days where she is extremely moody, irritable, or easily upset, usually depending on what people say or do around her. While she never exhibits this towards her ants or when she is alone, her reactions to things vary greatly when communicating with other people, possibly due to a lack of experience with processing her emotions and expressing them. Due to the fact that the ants are typically always aware of Brigit’s emotional state, they are able to alter their behavior in order to prevent any sort of negative reaction. While she is for the most part peaceful, and does not mean to harm anyone, her tendency to appear unstable frightens those that she meets. When she is in an agitated state of mind, her speech may seem rushed or confusing, and she may randomly snap angrily at something someone says, or spontaneously burst into tears. When she is calm, her speech is intricate, and at times even poetic. Why she has these issues around others is currently unknown, and the cause may never be determined.
Hobbies/Interests: Brigit, despite not being able to do most things regular humans can do, has a strong interest in entomology, namely myrmecology, which is the study of ants. Because she is, in a sense, part of an ant colony, she has a very deep understanding of how they work, and believes that studying them could lead to discoveries that would benefit society, in general, without harming nature in the process.
Skills/Talents: Brigit has an amazing talent in regards to architecture, and is capable of using her ants to build structures that are inhabitable by humans, without needing to take mathematical measurements to determine what is needed to make them structurally stable, without fear of collapse. The finest example of these talents is the small hut that she lives in, which has been standing for several years, and is a relatively long distance from the parks in the woods that surround the river.
Goals: Brigit’s main goal is to protect herself and her colony of ants from humans
History/Bio: Brigit grew up being raised by a single dad who struggled to take care of both his daughter and himself, and as a result was hardly able to afford living in a home in Southside, which was a lower apartment with a very small backyard that didn’t even have enough grass to require a lawnmower. The only reason that they could afford it, in theory, was because of the fact that the street in front of the apartment was too noisy for the owner to rent it out for a higher price. Regardless of this, Brigit learned to ignore the noise and spent much of her time using the light in the backyard to read by, often focusing on her studies.
When she began to mutate at the age of eleven, Brigit first started developing odd mental changes, and started to think that she heard the ants in the little tiny mound in her backyard talking to her, although not in anything that could be translated into English. Wondering if she had some disorder, Brigit didn’t tell her father anything. This confusion persisted for about an entire year, the communications with the ant colony becoming more vivid and clear, and Brigit always doing things to try to make sure the ants didn’t get hurt, for some reason she didn’t understand. Then, when she was twelve, she started to develop physical changes, beginning with a shiny black second skin that, despite being like a normal human’s in texture and flexibility, was durable like chitin armor. It didn’t emerge all at once, and first began spreading on her back. When this happened, Brigit also noticed the ants beginning to change.
After this, Brigit discovered that she could control the ants, and, deciding that neither she nor the ants could survive without one another, scooped up the colony in an old bowl, and ran away from home and hid in the woods, far away from any parks that were located within the forest. Here, Brigit struggled to survive for the first few days, but her ant colony began to build a new nest, and started to rapidly multiply to an unnatural size. For the past four years, the number of ants has grown gigantic, and Brigit has become a master of manipulating them, using them to build a structurally stable hut, and surviving solely on food that the ants bring her.

Power: Brigit has a very unique set of powers, even among animal meta-humans, having mutated alongside an ant colony, and developed a symbiotic relationship with them as a result. She is capable of communicating with them via pheromones specially designed for solely the colony she controls, and even has a sort of telepathic bond with the insects, as they are capable of detecting one another’s emotions and thoughts. Because the colony multiplies at a very fast rate, and has grown to incredible size, Brigit has an enormous army of genetically superior ants at her command, which constantly replenish any number that is lost. The ants themselves are not an average species, and possess powerful abilities of their own. These ants are pure black in coloration, and queen and drone ants emerge as adults with wings that have greenish-silver veins and transparent membranes. All forms of these ants have flatter-than-average bodies, which is similar to gliding ants, giving the altered species a unique identity that makes it possible to distinguish them from natural species. These ants are largely an ultimate insect, having a fast running speed due to having longer legs that more closely resemble species found in the desert, and the ability to produce special proteins in their body that make it possible to carry out bodily functions, even in intense heat, much like the Saharan Desert Ant. Because of their flat bodies, the ants are also capable of gliding, or controlling where they land when they fall from tree branches, which greatly increases their chance of survival upon landing. Most amazing of all, however, is their abilities that resemble those of Polyrhachis sokolova, the only known intertidal ant species in the world that has been known to inhabit nests underwater. Because of this, Brigit’s ants are capable of running across water using surface tension, or skimming with the tips of their legs in the water. In addition to their extreme physical adaptability, Brigit’s ants also have many mental capabilities, as well as special skills dealing with perception. These ants, like desert species, appear to have a sort of internal pedometer, allowing them to keep track of their distance from their starting point, which is their nest. They are then able to judge what would be the shortest route, based on the sun’s position, and their shadow, which is not normally needed, as the temperature is normally cool, although they are also capable of sensing magnetic poles for navigation to determine direction. Like Weaver ants, Brigit’s ants can use the silk of their larvae to weave tree leaves together to form nests, although because of environmental factors, this silk is more often used to make and repair Birgit’s clothing. Because of the massive size of the colony, Birgit’s ants are omnivorous, and are capable of eating anything they can find. They can also obtain honeydew from aphids and scale insects that they care for. In situations that require aggressive behavior, Birgit’s ants possess the ability to move in a fashion similar to army ants, and possess Trap Jaws, which can close at a speed of up to 143 miles per hour, although they are capable of closing slowly for different tasks. The stings of Birgit’s ants feel like that of a wasp or large spider bite, and if analyzed the venom appears to be a very minor form of poneratoxin that is normally found in a stronger form in bullet ants. A single sting alone is relatively easy for people to bear, but multiple stings in the same spot quickly cause pain to escalate to a burning, throbbing, all-consuming pain that feels as though the victim were being shot, which lasts for about 24 hours. Although it would take a very large number of stings for the ants to kill a single normal human, high doses of venom can cause numbness in the afflicted limbs, as well as uncontrollable shaking.
Brigit herself, who controls the army of ants, does not have any venom. However, she does possess wings, which gift her with the ability of flight, which can be up to speeds of 60 miles per hour. Additionally, she is able to hover in one place, and fly backwards. Her second skin makes her resistant to blunt blows such as punches, and like her ants, Brigit has the ability to lift things that weigh up to ten times her body weight (1000 lbs). If her wings or second skin are damaged, she is capable of shedding them and re-growing new ones in a time period of about three days.
Weaknesses: Despite their formidable abilities, Brigit’s ants are still as individuals bugs that at maximum size can only grow to about two centimeters in length. Despite all their adaptations, the ants cannot breathe underwater, and are not immune to fire, electricity, or ice. They are also not in any way immune to being crushed by heavy objects. This means humans can still step on them and kill them. They can also still be killed with bug spray.
Brigit herself, not having been an ant originally, is immune to bug spray, but has the same weaknesses as an average human, for the most part, except for blunt blows like punches. Sharp objects and elemental attacks, however, have full effect. In addition, despite possessing wings, Brigit cannot fly if they get wet. Also, if she has shed her second skin and wings to regrow new ones, she will be extremely vulnerable for three days, due to her normal skin being extremely sensitive, both to light, temperature, and even the slightest touch.

Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Black Ethnicity: Caucasian Physical Appearance: Caden is a late-teen with some odd vibes about him, he looks strange and to some downright silly. He has a very slim build, he's a bit tall. With some rather abnormally long limbs, his arms and legs are long. With his legs making up most of his immense height. He doesn't have any visible muscles or body-fat on him. In fact, if he takes off his clothes; most would faintly see his bones poking through his skin. He has rather thin shoulders. Caden has slightly tanned skin, his skin takes a darker shade of Caucasian. With many imperfections littering his skin. Most of these imperfections come in the form of scars. Over the years, Caden has intentionally gotten himself in some pretty vicious fights. Fights that'd leave people scarred for life. These scars vary in type, size and appearance (Some are burn scars, some are blade scars, you get the picture). They are scattered around his skin, and there's too many to note. None really stand out anymore. Fortunately, there are very few scars on his face. Except for one straight scar over his right eye. Caden is a very attractive looking person, despite his scars and personality. He has feminine, near androgynous facial features. Some could easily mistake him for a girl if they look at him from certain angles.
Caden has a bony, yet rounded face. He has a small, inverted triangle shaped head. Which is wide at the top, and gets thinner and thinner as it goes down. Caden has a pointed chin, with a strong, sharp jaw-line to match. His cheekbones are round at the top, and get thinner and much more squared as it goes down. Similar to his head. He has a very small nose, with a small, thin bridge and large round nostrils. It's rather notable since his nose is very small compared to his other facial features. He has a small forehead, that is short, but wide in a way. Caden's eyes are a bit larger than average, they are mostly round, and have some pointed tips. There is something undeniably odd about his eyes, which are a side-effect of his powers. His iris's are pitch black, no natural color or anything. He still has the white around his iris, though. So, it's only really noticeable when someone looks in his eyes (Of madness). These eyes also look a bit feminine, adding much to his feminine vibe. He has thin average sized lips, that aren't too different or noticeable from other males. He has light freckles plastered across his face, most are around his cheeks, under his nose. Caden, when neutral, has a constant bored or emotionless facial expression. When happy, or "excited" his face often matches those depicted in movies as the killer--- Meaning he just looks crazy. Caden's hair is a jet-black color, and appears unnatural. His hair is straight, and can grow to be quite long. Caden keeps his hair in the form of several large dreadlocks all over his head, which are all medium-length. Which gives him a humorous look--- Despite his vicious personality. Caden constantly speaks with a smooth, charming British accent like the ones you'd see on TV.
Attire: Nothing special or striking. Caden dresses up to be bland and forgettable. On wards, he's always seen wearing a hoodie (usually grey or black) unzipped with a white T-shirt under it. He'll wear any types of pants; jeans, cargo pants, sweat pants. He needs glasses to see properly; so he wears some very round and nerdy glasses.
Personality
Hobbies/Interests: Caden has an elevated interest in sports like basketball, football and baseball. While he's not skilled at all at them--- he just enjoys watching it. Caden's interests also include, eldritch abominations, swashbuckling adventure heroes, sports played by meta-humans, bowties, Alice in Wonderland, darkness, and snakes.
Skills/Talents: Caden's other skills include skills include marksmanship, playing the guitar, tracking, packing things, painting, and sorting things.
Goals: Return to the Othergrounds no matter the cost and "rescue" Lemontea and his allies. Afterwards he wants to establish meta-humans as the dominant species. In the mean time he wants to gather an army of Meta-human followers.
History/Bio: While Caden doesn't know this he was born from a family that'd turn out to be very wealthy. Despina Allwolds and Danik West were his parents, they lived in Columbia, South Carolina where they met in a bar really late at night and got drunk. Yeah, he's the bastard child that neither of his parents wanted and since they didn't like the concept of abortion he was almost immediately given up for adoption. Afterwards he was completely forgotten about. He didn't have a very eventful life bouncing from foster parent to foster parent basically hating each and every one of them. Most of the time they had enough of him and kicked them out where he went to another household only to repeat the same process. As he grew up he distanced himself from these foster families and tried to live as if he wasn't bound by them. Like an adult. Only failing horribly in the process. Experimenting with everything that he could until he was kicked out one more time. At this time he was fifth-teen years old, that was too old for him to be adopted again. No family simply wanted an unruly teenager under their roof. Especially since Caden had became near-sociopathic.
While he was spending his last few years in the orphanage he had left, he had discovered his "gift" incidentally---- [Redacted]. Months later he had received his own letter from the Sparrowdale academy and went straight there. During his first induction... he's had some less than stellar interactions with the people that he came with. The person that he had scorned the most was Valentina Casillas. An Indian/American girl who had a rather aggressive personality. After their induction process was over, Caden had clashed several times with Valentina during his "freshman" period of the school. Which slowly escalated from verbal fights, to physical battles, to all out death-matches in the middle of the lunch-room. Before it could escalate even further the officials at the Othergrounds had stepped in and threw both of them into the Detention Center for several days. Afterwards they had quashed their rivalry. While in the eyes of the staff and students they had stopped hating each other. Their burning hatred of each other remained.
After that stage had ended: Caden had learned so much from the school. Much more than simple powers. He had ideals in his head that were less than pleasant. Years passed and Caden had started his own web of friends. Some people saw him as a good person... While others saw him as a maniac ready for the kill. One person he got extremely close to was a vagrant that had lived on the street for months, she called herself Lemontea. The two had some sort of connection to each other; both were vagrants that were unwanted by their parents and they had rough sides. When they were around each other it looked like they were completely different people. Lemontea was pleasant, while Caden was more caring and empathetic (towards her). She was the person that had inspired Caden to fulfill his goal in life. For her he would make meta-human kind the dominant species. Even if many fell in the process.
This plan would require him to form himself an army. Possible recruits were easy; he was in a school for Meta-humans. He also had many friends on his side. All he'd have to do is start spreading his ideals. Shortly, but surely, he had a group of people who believed in his plans. Almost everyone else called him a monster. It didn't phase him--- All that really mattered to him was that he had a small group of followers. The next step would be leaving the school. Rumors had spread of Caden's plans. Which had spread to the higher ranks of the school. They were especially wary of him, and he returned the feelings. It didn't long for Caden to form a plan for escape. Taking advantage of the school policies. If a student wanted to leave the Othergrounds they would be sedated again, and returned to the very place they came from. He thought of a plan for all of his followers to meet in one-place; Black Fall. The plan would have went smoothly if it wasn't for one... deterrent.
His old rival Valentina. She had heard of Caden's plans and taunted him in a hallway. Calling him all manners of mad-man, sociopath and other terms. None of it really phased Caden and he ignored it... Until Valentina took a jab at Lemontea, then he was enraged. A short battle took place, both of them have grown so much stronger. However in the end Caden proved to be the stronger one. School officials approached the scene and Valentina was found impaled through the chest and stabbed several times. It was suspected that she was killed instantly. With Caden standing over her body. It didn't take Sherlock Holmes to put together who killed her. Caden immediately fled and attempted to escape capture. The school went into high-alert for Caden and all of his followers. It got so bad that the Headmaster himself came out to capture Caden
Caden had no where to go. The school was in lockdown and there was no way of escape other than getting exiled. It was likely that they would imprison him in stasis. Through much running he eventually found himself in the plaza... Face to face with the last person he wanted to see. The Headmaster, Caden knew it had to be this way. If he was going to fall he was going to make sure that the king of them would fall first. An enormous battle took place between the two, and both were pushed to their limits. Many had gathered around the scene to watch in horror--- But, no one else intervened. This was something... Above them. As the battle got much more intense, Caden managed to get a devastating move on the headmaster; slashing him with claws of darkness that nearly took half his face off. This unfortunately had activated his Omega burst... Which was enough to take Caden down. The ambitious leader was defeated and his allies were abandoning him. Seeing him as nothing.
The next day Caden found himself in the detention center. He was presented with two choices; admit to the crime and they'll let him go free, or face an eternity in stasis. Naturally Caden took the former option--- Which by go free they meant that they were going to exile him. The next moment he was sedated and hours later he was found in the very place he came from. The orphanage. It was closed down and abandoned. He broke into the place to search around in the name of memories before finding that he had left something important behind. Caden bagged this possession and left the orphanage behind him. Slowly but surely Caden spent several months moving towards the rendezvous point; Black Fall, on Lemontea's favorite park. He waited weeks for them to return. But, no one came. There was no choice, they had abandoned him. If they had abandoned them he would have to start over. That was the choice he had made.
Caden went on to the streets of Black Fall to start a legend...
Family: None, he was given up for adoption at birth. Friends: Caden had gathered some friends during his various adventures. Most of them are meta-humans. Unfortunately, they were left behind as he moved forward. During his run in the Othergrounds he had gathered himself a small gang--- Unfortunately when he was thrown out of the Othergrounds they were placed in stasis for reasons unknown (he isn't aware of this). Caden's only ally is May Pimm.
Enemies: The entire Othergrounds. After a major incident he was kicked out of there. What exactly he did was nothing but rumors. It was suspected that he killed someone. Caden declares the school and everyone involved in it, enemies. On a personal level; Caden is enemies with Sage Pimm. Lovers: The only love in his life is Lemontea. Marital Status: Taken
Abilities
Power Class: Elemental, Super-System, Extra-sensory, andOther
Power: Caden's power is essentially that of a Darkness Elemental. Not actual Darkness, a bit more like the poetic terms of Darkness. Negative Emotions, Evil, Sin--- that jazz. Now, on to what she can actually do. This power goes down several different paths fueled by his own darkness, and the darkness in others. First and main use of his power, Caden can generate jet-black smoke that has a liquidity, metallic look, from anywhere on his body. Which is essentially darkness. He can control this darkness much like the traditional elemental, he can levitate it and shape it into anything. Green Lantern style. Usually this darkness is intangible and won't have too much uses--- aside from acting as a smoke screen. However, he can solidify the darkness, and essentially create anything within reason. Green Lantern style. Weapons, Walls, Small Objects. Anything, as long as it isn't too big. His secondary use is the ability to become this darkness. While this darkness he has complete control over himself allowing him to change any each aspect of his body in order to manipulate the size, shape, and dimensions of every part of his body. One of the main uses of this power is stretching parts of his body to extend his reach. While in this form Caden can also fly, and turn into smoky darkness--- Allowing him access to everywhere that isn't sealed air tight. Caden's darkness form makes him much more resistant to damage, mostly blunt damage. This darkness isn't actual darkness, it's merely the physical manifestation of people's darkness. Making it unaffected by light and/or darkness as much as any other object.
Caden's next darkness power is that he can sense the darkness in people's hearts in the vicinity. Everyone has darkness in their hearts, whether a small amount or great darkness. It's more of a people sense. When people are packed together it's near impossible to pick them apart. It's a rather irritating part of his gift. Since it takes much concentration to pick people's separate darkness apart. This ability also grants him a mental "dark-spot". If anyone with a telepathic or other cerebral-type ability tries to enter his mind, all they'll see is darkness. This power grants him complete immunity to all cerebral powers that could affect his mind.
Caden can also "shadow-step". It's a simple teleportation where he takes himself (in darkness form) apart and puts it back together at a location of choice. It can be anywhere his eye can see, from short distances to long distances. However, larger distances can be quite taxing on him. Caden can do this ability quite often, almost seconds after preforming it again. He usually does this ability while in fights, teleporting behind and to the sides of his opponents. Avoiding damage while maximizing it to them.
Caden has much skill with his ability. Inventing advanced fighting techniques and mixing his ability to teleport, and sense people's darkness with high speed, hard hitting attacks. There are also a few more secret abilities that Caden has at his disposal.
Weaknesses: Caden's darkness power is fueled by his own Negative emotions/thoughts, Sin and it's supplied by others. It's mostly supplied by the form. So if he's alone or with a few people then his powers will be much weaker. His power requires absolute calmless (or apathy) to be used at full strength. Bearing strong emotions will cause his powers to fluxed between normal power and significantly weaker. While he's his Darkness form he doesn't have any form of intangibility. He'll take damage like a solid normal human being, though he can take quite a bit of blunt damage. This unfortunately doesn't apply to slice attacks and etc. His mental dark-spot also has a weakness. It only works if he's at full strength, if he gets too injured/distracted it won't work. It also won't work if he shows strong emotion.

Vipera likes to fuse her people into some animal mutant things with special snowflake personalities and feminine frames (when she's a god damn ant), Maxx likes to try to be creepy with his characters (when I visualize them they just look kind of ridiculous).
Being honest with you Lone, while your characters aren't as predictable as the others, as they all differentiate from each other greatly, you seem to go for powers that relate to emotion, or otherwise cannot necessarily manifest themselves in the physical world. I'm not pointing that out as a flaw, I'm just pointing out an observation I made. Those types of powers seems to be your shtick and you play well with them.

Actually, I agree with you. I have been making plenty of emotion-based powers and I'm going to be avoiding them for quite a bit before it becomes the norm. (I kinda decided that before your post)

I am aware that my characters typically do have the traits you described, but even if I am predictable in making animal-based characters, I make them the way they are because I enjoy researching the creatures they are inspired by. I have been making a lot of characters that are bird-themed lately, so I've been trying to get away from that and make more fish and insect-based ones. I kind of skipped over reptiles, amphibians, and mammals because Maxx kind of has the mammals down in this particular story, and Operator usually has reptiles and amphibians. My animal characters are kind of a part of my RPing style.

I'm not sure how you can call my characters predictable in this rp Lieo, considering that you don't know two of my characters' powers. Most of my characters aren't really that creepy. I suppose you could say that about my animal mutants however. Not sure how you can make a scorpion-man not sound absolutely ridiculous. I also understand where you're coming from with The Watcher, considering that he's been in a grand total of five roleplays before, though his powers are usually different. He only has one power this time that he's had before.
