Name: Elisha Vaugh (though most folks call him Eli)

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Appearance: Elisha is a man of slightly above average height (6’0”) with a small frame (160 lbs). He doesn’t look very muscular, but he’s not exactly bony either. He’s kind of in between. Though he doesn’t look very muscular, he is actually quite strong. He has long arms and legs, giving him a kind of lanky frame. His skin is a pale caucasian tone. His hair is a dirty blonde color, and is generally left short and messy. He has a thin face with a prominent chin that always makes him look like his face is turned up slightly. Eli’s eyes are a bright blue, almost white. They have a very calm and kind light to them despite his overall rather haughty appearance. Elisha’s outfits will be described IC, but his favorite color is blue. Chances are, he will be wearing something blue, whether that be a sweater or a tee shirt or a jacket. Eli also occasionally carries a tan satchel around with him that contains his laptop.

Personality: Eli doesn’t really seem to show much of a personality. He’s one of those guys who acts almost robotically, kind of like Spock from Star Trek. He’s very intelligent, but acts kind of slow. He never gets references and sometimes misses the most obvious of things. He sometimes seems like he’s...not there, as if he’s got his head in the clouds. He’s constantly looking up at the sky, as if he’s perpetually bored with the world. Because of this, many people think that he’s a jerk, but in reality he’s incredibly kind. He is very humble as well, and often spends his time helping the less fortunate. When Eli does show emotion, it’s usually in extreme bursts, such as extreme euphoria or blinding anger. It seems like he’s not very good at handling emotions, so he often chooses not to. Normally, Eli is very peaceful. He tries to avoid fights when he can, but if he does get in a fight, he tends to lose himself in anger and becomes extremely violent. Eli is also a devout catholic, a rare trait in his demographic, though is often accepting of people with different religious views.

hobbies/talents: Eli is a good athlete with a lot of stamina and endurance. He plays football at the tight end position, and runs track as a sprinter. He is also a talented musician, and can play piano as well as violin.

Abilities: Eli has a few different abilities at his use that make him pack quite the punch. Firstly, he has the power to cure. Not only can Eli heal physical ailments, but he can also cure diseases and mental ailments with a single touch. So he’s kinda like a universal medic. His very presence causes sick people to feel slightly better and cheers up they who are severely depressed. Secondly, Eli has the ability to create and control light. He can use this to blind his enemies temporarily, or can cast light or darkness over an area. This allows him to light up dark alleys or darken streets for getaways. Thirdly, Eli has the ability of the penance stare. He can sense the sins, regrets, and remorse of other people and use it against them as a sort of weapon. Anyone who looks into his eyes with this ability activated is tortured by seeing their own sins and regrets play in their mind’s eye over and over again. If Eli concentrates hard enough on one penance stare, he can actually cause physical damage to his targets in the form of severe burns. A very bad sinner looking hard enough into Eli’s eyes with this power active for long enough could potentially just burst into flame and die.

Weaknesses: Well, firstly, all three of Eli’s abilities are difficult to conceal, as whenever he uses them his eyes and hands (if he’s curing someone) light up bright blue. Eli’s healing abilities have a few drawbacks. Firstly, the worse the wound, the harder it is and the longer it takes for Eli to cure. So, a knife wound or a 2nd degree burn could take Eli only seconds to cure, but a large gunshot wound or bad 3rd degree burns take at least several minutes to cure. Eli cannot heal limbs back on; he can stop the bleeding and cauterize the wound, but if your arm gets torn off he cannot re-attach it. Eli CANNOT bring anyone back from the dead. He also cannot heal extremely bad diseases (if you’ve had Ebola Zaire for a week and your insides are the consistency of human pudding, you’re screwed), though he can heal poisonings and diseases of average or above-average strength.

Then, there’s the penance stare. Eli has trouble with his penance stare sometimes, because he can’t exactly control it very well. When he starts to see someone’s sins, he gets extremely angry and has trouble controlling himself. Because of this, he will only use his penance stare when it is absolutely necessary, and especially only if he has someone with him who can stop him from turning pickpockets and muggers into piles of ash. The penance stare only works if the person it’s being used on knows that what they did is a sin and feels bad about them. So, if you are that sociopathic kind of person who doesn’t feel remorse about murdering and stealing, then you won’t be affected as badly as a person who steals or kills and feels bad about it (remember, though, sociopathy is defined as a mental disorder, and Eli can cure mental disorders, so watch out thieves and muggers). Also, if at any time during a stare visual contact is lost between Eli and his target (someone puts something in the way, etc) the attack stops.

For the IC, guys, everyone's going to start in the Alpha District of Aurum. I'll describe it in my first post. It's a commercial district mainly with glass front shops and malls and luxury apartments and CENSORED. It's the rich part of the city, basically.

Name: Cassandra Wilcox

Gender: Female

Age: 20 (a few months off from 21, she would have one of the first mutants born).

Appearance: Cassandra is a tall woman, standing 5'9" and weighing 142 pounds. She is rather slim, especially around the midsection and is albino in complexion. She has long, wavy jet black permanent dyed hair (naturally stark white) that reaches all the way to her thighs. The most obvious thing about her facial features is her irises and pupils are a blood red color. There is heavy amounts of black makeup around her eye, which makes her look quite sinister. She has petite a nose, nose and ears, with very full lips. Her lipstick is midnight in color, and so are her fingernails. Cassandra is a very extravagant dresser. She wears dangling earrings, numerous rings, bracelets, and necklaces wrought of precious metals and inlaid with valuable gemstones. She favors silver over gold and mostly wears diamonds and ruby's. Just about everyday she veils her face, and wears an elegant cloak with a feathered scarf. Under that a strapless frilled ball gown and three inch heels. Everything she wears is black.

Personality: I'll do this IC.

Favorite activities/hobbies: Cassandra is a reclusive woman. She spends a lot of her time taking strolls alone, most of theses are at night. Sometimes she will attend formal events, but she never has a date. Live performances are something she most enjoys, but its always an opera or classical music.

Backstory: I'll do this IC.

Name: Waldo. And no, that’s not really her name, but besides your standard unimaginative persons insults that’s as good as you’re going to get.
Gender: Female, but it varies when in disguise.
Age: Well, that would depend on whether or not you mean date since birth or the physical age of her current body. In the first instance he would be somewhere around the age of 15.

Appearance: When she isn’t disguised as someone else she looks something like

she stands about 5' 6" and weighs 112 pounds.

Personality: Aside from being extremely sardonic and narcissistic to the point where one starts to think that she feeds off peoples overreactions like some kind of leech, Waldo’s one redeeming factor is that she is basically a walking encyclopedia of anything scientific with the down fall of having absolutely no knowledge in any other subject. This means that if she didn’t know based on the scientific facts she has memorized that when someone crosses their arms, stairs accusingly at you with a tight lipped expression and head angled downward, that generally, if not always means they’re about ready to bash your head in with a brick. So where as you would intuitively know that instantly and either feel sorry about it or be already too mad at the person imagining murdering you with a brick to notice or care, she’d just calmly note the sequence of facial expressions, subsequently what that means, decide that she should stand at least 5 feet away from the said angry individual, be prepared to make a run for it and until then, just keep talking. Not because she’s being callous or insensitive by default, but because this person standing in front of her calculating if the jail time would be worth it if they did get caught, is a complete moron. A moron because they’re getting mad over the truth which is stupid, because if you don’t like how the truth would affect you then getting mad about it and throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old would do absolutely nothing but cause all critical thinking parts of the brain to going to standby mode making that person also in that instant a completely useless member of the human race. And that’s another thing you should know about Waldo. She’s always completely and totally honest about everything to a fault. If she thinks you’re an idiot, she’ll tell it to your face because in her mind, if you know about a fact you can alter what needs to be altered to adapt best to your environment with this new information. And being something of a genius, everyone looks like an idiot so if that’s the most common ‘insult’ you hear from her it’s because a large portion of humanity just happens to fall into that category.
The advantage of Waldo being extremely fact oriented is that she takes insult at nothing. You could go on international television and say the most horrible things you can think of about her all day, all night, or hell, for the rest of your life, and she wouldn’t care. Why? Because unless what you were saying was facts (in which case she would already be aware of them and find this redundant and boring) the only thing she’d have to say in defense would be; “That’s your opinion. Opinions are emotional connections between two or more facts, thus they are biased and flawed by nature.”
Another half positive, half negative personality quirk she possess is her preference for always being the No1 expert in any given field and when that is not the case, for instance, when two people are discussing boyfriend/girlfriend relations, she’ll interject their pseudo philosophical debate with Freudian psychology and typically make the conversation too awkward for any parties with any experience whatsoever in the subject to continue discussing the topic. Which basically ensures that she’ll have the last word, which, is something generally always gets anyway.
Or the less verbose version: She just really hates everyone because they’re comparatively morons, has a mildly sadistic/morbid sense of humor, never gets offended, embarrassed or mad enough for anyone to notice until she’s gotten payback and really only has feelings for data.


Favorite activities/hobbies: Botany (specifically the lateral transference of the altered genomes in human being into plants) Molecular gastronomy, Quantum physics, Biology (please refer to botany for specifics) Forensics, Organic and just Chemistry in general, psychology and the study of human error.

Power: Waldo, as suggested by her pseudonym is capable of shape shifting. However, it’s not your standard form as she copies not only someone’s physical appearance but also their powers. This means that anything they can do, she can do better. For example, Fred shoots a wall of fire at Waldo. Waldo can only mirror the action in every way except methodology. So while Fred shoots a uncontrolled, wide spread and thus relatively low energy per square foot, in her general direction, Waldo can use a mental map of how Fred’s brain works in relation to his powers to alter things like the shape and density of the blast meaning that given enough time to build up the said map, she could eventually build up enough neuroconnector roadmaps in Fred’s virtual brain to allow ‘him’ pack all the energy of the wide spread blast into a point of space the size of a marble then let it expand outwards in the massive explosion once its reached its target instead of directing it after the fact in the general direction of the target. This also means she has a certain level of telepathy, however that is only usable when she has basically downloaded all of Freds physical and mental aspects into her person allowing her to run both like a kind of virtual machine while her mind basically sits back and takes notes on what this virtual machine is doing and finds ways of improving it like some sort of science experiment. Basically, her telepathy is not the kind that gives you a headache or mind control you. However, it is possible for her to send people the telepathic equivalent of text messages which would take the form of minor visual hallucinations (Eg the word WRONG popping up as subtext while you’re doing your homework) and even as a sort of heads-up visual display of data on whatever happens to be in your field of vision. What this would look like to her is basically the same, except she sees what you’re seeing, thinking and feeling the same way she can run a virtual computer version of your character when she’s disguised as them.

Weakness: When in her normal ‘form’ and not mimicking anyone, Waldo is physically just as vulnerable as every other non-mutant being on the planet. Mentally, not so much, but that’s her naturally high IQ and nothing else. Its only when she is mimicking someone that she has any ‘powers’ at all, and all the limitations that persons powers have apply to her, the only thing she can change is how intelligently she uses them. And she can’t mimic you if you’re not within her field of vision or if she has no way of monitoring your behavior. However if she can see a live feed of you through something like a security camera that still qualifies as ‘within her field of vision’ as she can read your body language and plug that into her existing virtual machine allowing her to both communicate telepathically and mimic you.
Aside from her powers weaknesses the one that is most effective is her mental one. (And anyone who knows me personally will know exactly what that is.) However, since it’s extremely obvious even within this paragraph, I’m sure you’ll be able to figure it out on your own. *Laughs manically off-screen*

Now that I see that on paper, maybe it's not such a good idea to have a character who can use other people's powers better than they can. Maybe if she understood as much about their powers as the person she mimicked did.

Since the original point of the character was to be the mutant version of a PE teacher, she would need to be able to see in advance what the specific characters power was capable of otherwise that point would be ineffective. However, since it is a bit OP, maybe instead of getting rid of the whole 'improving on your power' thing, I could have it only apply to an attack she's seen before (so you use the same thing twice and she'll predict it immediately and be able to improve on that power the second time she observes it) and when she improves upon it in the 'virtual machine' shes mentally running to calculate everything about the character she's mimicking, the improvement would be viable to the person being mimicked so that they would be aware both of what she was about to do and of how she was about to do it so they would have the option to either match the slight improvement or improve upon that as well. Basically making it go both ways.

Otherwise the whole 'every time someone fights your character they slightly get better at it' thing wouldn't work.

This RP is interesting so far.

While I was typing up a sheet I noticed this and wanted to ask about it. Is it a good idea to have it to where the optional areas like the backstory and personality are optional yet still are required to have a certain amount of lines if you do type it?

Name: Dexter Harold Chertok (Rush)

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Appearance: Rush has an interesting appearance. Like he doesn't look too out of place in one of those sci-fi movies as an Engineer. Maybe it's his goggles. Maybe it's the nerd vibe. Who knows. Anywho, Rush has a nerd-vibe, like he looks like one of those NERDS who sit in front of their computer all day. Which he kinda does. He has a weak looking build, like he doesn't do too much muscle work - More of finger-work. He's slightly overweight, but isn't too noticeable. He's more thin than anything. Rush stands below average (at 5'6) and weighs 136 pounds. Not too shabby. His limbs (Arms and legs) are longer than average, and so are his fingers, he has a bit of a reach. Rush is Caucasian, he has several different cultures in his blood. American, British, Irish, and Czech, to be exact. Rush's skin is a pale white color, and is far from perfect. He has plenty of scars from incidents gone wrong. The most notable out of these scars is the burn scar on his shoulder. This is an electrical burn scar, and takes up his entire shoulder in a mass of nasty, fleshy, growths. Like a bolt of lightning came down and electrocuted him. Fortunately, he keeps this scar covered up with his attire. For once, one of my characters won't have facial scars. His skin, mostly his face, is plastered with light-brown freckles. His nose, and cheeks are littered with them.

Rush in terms of looks, isn't all that special. He isn't especially good looking, nor is he painful to look at. Rush is in between, you could say. He has a wide face/head. His head is oval shaped. Rush has very big and round cheeks, that are easily the more pronounced part of his head. Rush has average sized lips, that are pink, and poke out a little bit. His nose is very small, and triangle-shaped, the biggest part of his nose is the tip, which pokes forward a little bit. He has rounded ears are that very small. His eyes are small and blue colored, some could say that he has beautiful eyes. His chin is rounded, and his jawline is rather dull/round. Rush is a ginger. Which means in addition to having no soul, his hair is an orange color. It's straight. He keeps it well-groomed, and looking really good. Rush keeps his hair in a very spiky hairstyle.

Rush in terms of attire, has a Scifi/Steampunk vibe. He doesn't wear anything like lab coats or anything, despite his scientist motif. When out on the town; he mostly wears a large black leather trench coat, that stretches down to his ankles. This trench coat is a little tattered here and there, and most damage has been sown up/repaired by Rush. The main purpose of the trench coat is the several pockets all over it - Mostly inside of it. Rush keeps his various inventions in these pockets. Sometimes he'll be seen wearing other outfits, and in that case, he'll throw on anything as long as it fits. He sometimes will be seen wearing clothes that don't match at all. Rush doesn't care. One thing he absolutely won't be seen without is his massive tinted welder's goggles (They look like this, except black and tinted). They're usually on his forehead, sometimes he'll slide them down over his eyes.

Personality: People get sort of an nerd-vibe from Rush at first. They soon get mixed signals from him. He speaks quickly and concisely, in a cold tone that sounds logical. He is very intelligent and polite too. However, he's really eccentric and playful than anything. He tends to make silly jokes and playing around. Making witty, clever, and sarcastic remarks. Just like a social butterfly. All while sounding cold and logical. Sometimes he does come off as childish. This is when he's around other people, though. Alone, or at work, he's cold and serious as they come. Most people don't see this side of him unless they're spying on him. He knows when to get serious, and when the time is right, he'll go from a sarcastic joker, to the cold scientist he is at heart. Rush is a peaceful person, and will always use his head to talk his way out of problems. When he can't, he'll either cut and run, or fight. Rush will rarely fight without a good reason. There is one thing he likes talking about, and that is technology. If you pull out a cell-phone, could even be one of those block cell phones from the eighties, you can bet your @ss he'll ask about it. Technology from the present mostly bores him, though. He likes old technology, like stuff pre-digital age. Rush has a code of honor. He will always stick to his word, and will not break any promises. He will never use his powers for evil, and will use them to get himself ahead, lawfully. Rush has a habit of rushing through things sometimes, hence, why he has that nickname. When under certain conditions, he'll talk too fast, not think things through, and may gloss over facts, or cut time. This is even worse when stressed - Speaking of which, Rush can easily get stressed. Which may cause him to mess things up. In terms of sexuality, Rush is asexual. Meaning he doesn't seek out romance. It's just not in his wiring.

Favorite activities/hobbies: Rush's favorite thing in the hole wide world is explore technology, and invent some new technology himself. It gives him purpose and new things to explore. He's freakishly good with electronics, and can spot a tiny defect in a phone. Hell, he even has his own business set up where he helps people with their technology based problems. Other than that, Rush is an artist, he knows how to draw a bit well. He'll rarely be seen drawing however. He puts much attention on playing with his inventions. Rush also likes to get into different social situations and get information on people out of it. Seeing how some people react to some things.

Name: Ray Judah Drager

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Appearance: Ray is a neat looking individual, he also has that shady vibe. Like he's totally up to no good. He stands a bit above average (6'1') and weighs 182 pounds. Ray has a muscular build, nothing like a bodybuilder, of course. He got it from years of working hard, and his body does show a bit of strain. Ray is Caucasian, and of Ukrainian and Russian descents. His skin is smooth and good looking, slightly tanned, but not without it's scars. Because of the way Ray lived his life, he got plenty of scars from fights and other precarious situations. His body is covered in scars under all that clothing. He has quite a large one on his arm, it appears like a slashing scar. Starting at the base of his shoulder going down to his elbow. He also has a another small slashing scar over his eye. Because I just can't resist giving my characters facial scars! Other than that, Ray has a few moles and here and there. Ray can be called good-looking, his handsomeness is more of the rough variety, if you catch my drift. Ray's head is average sized and heart shaped. Ray's face is squared and his facial features are pronounced and well defined. He has a sharp/strong jawline. The most defined part of his face is his average-sized chin, that sticks out a little bit. He has a large nose, with a long bridge and wide, round, nostrils. His eyes are small, and have a beautiful blue color, which are a bit smaller than the rest of his face. They are always seemingly concealed under his sunglasses. His forehead is wide, but other than that, not too big. Ray always has a blank or aggressive face on. Ray's hair is black colored and neatly slicked back. He has a bit of facial hair growing, a beard is coming in fast, right now it's a stubble.

Ray has a tough-guy style, and dresses heavily, but he'll will wear just about anything. From hoodies, to polo-shirts, to jeans, he isn't picky when it comes to style. His favorite color is black, so he tends to wear outfits of darker colors. Sometimes he'll wear hats, like baseball caps. He's always seen wearing sunglasses. Any kind of sunglasses really. His favorite kind is his Oil-Rig Sunglasses (They look like this). Which are either over his eyes, or hanging off around his neck (At night). Ray also likes to wear gloves too. Mostly finger-less gloves.

Personality: Ray gives people mixed signals when they're around him. For starters, Ray appears as the stoic, gruff kind of person that rarely shows any emotion. Ray prefers  doing work, opposed to social situations. Because work/business is where he's really at home. He tries to be nice most of the time, except in his own rough way. He can be rude sometimes and cross lines, unintentionally, though. He knows when he crosses the lines and feels a bit of guilt as a result. Ray isn't too good at apologies, and tends to get himself in worse situations, which is why he rarely apologizes. Instead, he'll try to improve and not do it again - Because that's better than apologizing! Ray can come off as a bit of an @ss sometimes. He's quick to get annoyed and aggravated, and oh boy, it will show. He'll usually express his irritation in some way. Ray is a person who's overwhelmingly adamant and stubborn. He'll fight/argue for what he believes in. Ray is also the kind of person who doesn't give any f*cks about what people think of him. He does what he wants to, d*mn what people may think. Speaking of which, Ray prefers to do things by himself. He just prefers going alone because he won't have anyone to worry about but himself. But, if it calls for it, Ray will work with just about anyone as long as they don't piss him off/aren't useless.

Despite all of this, Ray is a very moral person. He can be classified under "good guy." He'll help the people that he believes needs helping, and will fight the people he thinks needs fighting (Mostly people that pick fights with him). As you may have guessed by now, Ray is not above getting dirty when the situation calls for it. Ray is straight, but is as far from romantic as anyone gets. He's just not that interested in romance, and it takes a lot of effort to even get him slightly interested. Which means that he's heavily resistant to good looking ladies - Especially those who use it to take advantage of horny young boys.

Favorite activities/hobbies:As stated above, Ray is an "all work" kind of person. Who prefers work to fun. There are, however, a few things that Ray likes to do/is good at. Ray likes martial arts, specifically karate. He's an orange belt, but he's far more experienced than trained. In a way, you could say that he was trained through experience. He can fist fight quite well . Other than that, Ray likes baseball, and is good at that too. He mostly likes to watch it more than anything though.

Okay, Emma, here's the deal. Everyone thinks that Waldo is OP. So, you need to add another weakness. I was thinking that Waldo could only use someone else's powers on the person they belong to (you can't use Eli's powers on Rush, for example) and the person has to be in the presence of Waldo for her to use their power.

Both accepted Al. When you get a chance would you mind setting up the character section for me like you said you would?

Excellent. Can't wait to use Rush and Ray. They should be well known on the streets, mostly Rush. Without revealing too much about his power, Rush is very, very good with electronics and offers his services for money. Which could make some character interactions.

I had a 2 fecking pages of text written addressing that. Which, I'll simply make into an optional pop-up at this point.

In the pop up it states in non so few words that those suggested weakness were inferred in the character sheet already. I added the camera feed thing merely because it makes the power more scientific. But I'll get rid of that if it bothers anyone.

Might have to start color coding all the different demons, which might be a little problematic for me.

Also, since everybody here is basically in every RP, my apologies for slow posting, I might have to drop an RP to balance frequent posts and schoolwork (and the constant demands of my harem).
